Authors Note: I swear this story is coming back to me, all the little things I wanted is running away with me in my mind and making me skip so far BUT having gone that far and back, it helps a bit. Sasuke dodged a kunai thrown at his head and leaped over a leg being kicked to his knees. Rolling then kicking off the ground, Sasuke punched one and elbowed another.
"Guys" running up the length of a tree and then kicking off that while throwing knives at 3
"Guys" landed then flipped backwards a couple times before blocking a kick to his face and pushing back.
"Guys!" Block, block, punch; rolled, block, dodge, kick; And repeat for a few minutes.
"GUYS!"
"What?!" Said Roxanne from her place under a tree, in the shade, sitting across from Naruto, holding cards
"Little help?" Bending backwards to avoid getting hit in the head, Sasuke swiped at the clone and it puffed away.
"Sorry buddy, you got caught and now have to pay the penalty" Naruto replied as he tossed and pick up a card.
"Penalty!? For catching me?!" Sasuke yelled as he jumped over one of the clones
"Penalty for not wearing weights like the rest of us" Roxanne said as she picked up the card Naruto discarded and then threw one away.
"And after you've worked up a sweat, we'll join in and kick your ass; Gin!" Naruto yelled after picking up a card, tossing down a royal flush. Roxanne groaned and tossing her cards down
"Yeah right, like you could kick my ass" Sasuke countered as he blocked and dodged
"Wanna bet?" Naruto said as both Roxanne and Naruto stood and started stretching, the cards disappearing
"On what?" the clones disappeared and Sasuke sighed at finally taking a break, rotating his shoulders and arm.
"One on one, no holds bar and if I win, you have to do the cooking and cleanup for 2 days"
"And if I win?"
"What do you want?"
"A kiss"
Naruto blushed from the tip of his ears to the top of his shirt, Roxanne chokes on air and Sasuke realized what he said and how he said it, blushed also.
"A – a kiss?" Naruto stuttered and stared wide eyed at Sasuke as they both blushed
"It's not like it sounds" Sasuke quickly said
"Oh, it's definitely how it sounds" Roxanne said wiggling her eyebrows as she smiled at both guys
"A – a kiss?" Naruto said again, trying to restart his fried brain
"From Roxanne, not you"
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! I'm not part of this bet. Either you kiss Naruto OR find something else to bet on"
Naruto and Sasuke looked at each other and blushed again, turning away.
"Going once" Roxanne counted 1 finger
Silence
"Going twice" She said again and counted 2 fingers
Silence
"Sold! If Naruto wins, Sasuke get the cooking and cleaning for 2 days. IF Sasuke wins, he gets a kiss from Naruto. Agreed?" Both guys didn't look at each other but both nodded
"Shake hands" they did
"Alright!" Fist pumping "No holds bar fight, start when you ready" Roxanne said as she started off somewhere
"Hey where you going?" Naruto asked as both he and Sasuke got into a stance.
"I'll be over there. Don't worry" She pointed up towards the trees "She'll keep track of this fight"
Naruto and Sasuke looked up and saw a Roxanne clone sitting up on one of the branches swinging her feet and waving down at the boys.
"Ready" She yelled, both guys got into their stances
"GO!"
OOOOO
Elsewhere:
Roxanne laughed at the puppy dodging every rock/pebble being thrown at him in all directions from the 5 clones she conjured up. Akamaru yipped and barked happily at being included in any training.
It was all going great, Until:
"What the HELL is wrong with you?!" screamed a voice as a blur ran by and picked up Akamaru
Well tried to but Akamaru jumped out of the way and into Roxanne's arms, both growling at the person.
Who just happen to be Kiba. His teammates appeared next to him.
"Me?! What wrong with you?!" Roxanne growled out as Akamaru barked.
"ME? Who the hell steals a pet and - " he got cut off
"AND doesn't even noticed an hour later?!"
Silence, Kiba stared dumbfounded at Roxanne and Akamaru with a finger in the air.
"An hour?" He looks towards his teammates as they shrugged and his Sensei shook her head with her hand over her face
"Yes, an Hour!" Roxanne puts the puppy down beside her, ruffles his fur and stands back up, a hand on her hip. "Last time I checked, you were supposed to be training WITH Akamaru and not leaving him on the side lines" Akamaru barked "Yeah you tell him buddy" Roxanne crossed her arms and let the puppy tell his owner off.
'Bark, bark, growl, whine, BARK!'
"See"
'Bark, growl, growl, Bark, BARK!'
"And.."
'Bark, bark, bark'
"And that's what we are going to do right now" Both Roxanne and Akamaru took off, leaving a pale faced Kiba and his confused teammates
"Kiba-kun, what did Akamaru say?" Hinata Hyuga asked a trembling Kiba
"He said I was a bad owner, that I should have been training with him and not ignoring him and they are going to tell my sister"
"oh"
"I'm so dead" Kiba with his head down, shoulders slumped and a groan.
"We'll continue on tomorrow, training dismissed" Kiba's sensei, Kurenai Yuhi, said and waved before she too took off. Hinata and the bug guy, Shino Aburame, waved back to their sensei but did not go.
A moment later, Roxanne reappeared but without Akamaru:
"They are waiting for you"
"How could you do that to me, Roxanne?" Kiba sounded hurt and a little fear on what's to come. Roxanne stared at Kiba, at his form and walked up to him, a hand on his shoulder.
"Kiba, Akamaru is part of you as you are to him. You work as one like all your family members and their other half. You left your other half and now you have to pay the consequences. And you'll know better next time you train with your other teammates. Do not leave Akamaru alone or else"
Kiba looked up into Roxanne's eyes and took a deep breath
"Tough love?"
"It the only love I know, now get, they're waiting for you" Pushing Kiba towards the direction of his house and after a wave, Kiba took off.
"Did you really had to do that, Roxanne?" Hinata asked when Roxanne turned towards them
"It isn't right to just leave 1 teammate on the side when all you all should be training together as 1 team"
"What about Sakura?"
"What about Sakura"
"She's the boys teammate but they are training without her and instead with you"
"Technically they are training with each other and not with me, I'm somewhere on the side doing my own thing. Besides, she's more the brains then the brawns. The boys are the brawn" both nodded "Anyways, the boys need to train together in order to be in sync with each other before they can add the brains of the operation. Which they will be doing while training with their sensei like the rest of you"
"But Sasuke is smart too"
"By his lonesome yes he's smart. But if you add 2 others, then Sakura is the smart one"
"Sounds legit, but one more thing: What do you mean you're somewhere doing your own thing? You're right here" Shino asked
"The real me is here, my clone is there" she waved in a general direction
"So what are they doing?"
"Good question, want to check it out with me?" Both nodded and they all walked in the direction where Roxanne and the boys are.
They are about to arrive just in time but they don't know that.

Elsewhere again:
He's trying.
Like seriously trying to lose but natural instincts of his body going through so many training hours wishes to not obey his mind. He blocked when he should have been hit, hit when he should of missed and everything else that his mind is telling him not to do.
In the end, Naruto fell flat on his back, stunned and stayed down. Sasuke sighed his irritation as he put a hand through his hair.
"Check and mate" said from above.
Sasuke clicked his tongue and looked down then he heard a moan.
Naruto came to, squinting his eyes as he sat up and rubbed his back.
"cha, Sasuke didn't have to do me that hard"
A snort from up above while Sasuke's ear tips turned red as he held a hand out for Naruto. Naruto got pulled up and looked everywhere but at Sasuke.
"So, um, you won" A hand on the back of his head, Naruto shuffled his feet and blush on his cheeks.
"Yeah" Sasuke cleared his throat but refuses to look at Naruto, knowing that if he looked at the blonde then his blush will take over his entire face and probably chicken out from the bet. Sasuke is not a chicken but he does need a little time to pull whatever courage lay within him to turn his head and get this over with.
Naruto stood next to Sasuke, dusting himself off when he felt a hand lift his chin that nearly paralyzed him from the movement and he looked up to stare into Sasuke's eyes. Eyes slightly wide, breathing a bit haggard, hands trembling and the only words going through his mind: 'First Kiss'
Slowly Sasuke's face came closer and Naruto's eyes slowly drifted close, both failed to notice and hear the incoming group. Or the clicking.
"I know they are around here somewhere, just" and all parties stopped once they came to the clearing and saw the beginning of a kiss.
It was like scene in a fairy tale: the sunshine at the right angle, the wisp of breeze going through their hair, a flock of butterflies flying by and the soothing sound of birds singing their melody.
Everyone held their breath.
Lips touched and almost everyone released the breath they were holding and sighed lovingly at the scene. And then mixed reaction after that.
Shino's eyebrows went pass his hairline and muttered "Wow"
Hinata had a Very Different reaction. Blood rushed to her head and because of that she had a massive nosebleed that erupted so aggressively that she fainted. Lucky for her, Shina caught her before she could hit the ground.
Roxanne with her head tilted to the side, hands clutched up to her chest and sighed at the scene. Until a pebble hit her head. She looked to the left behind her and saw one of her clones, the one that went with the boys, holding her camera and giving a thumbs up. Roxanne gave a very girlish squeal as she danced from foot to foot and twirled around.
All this going on, the boys did not noticed as they were still lip locked.
Moments later, they parted and looked into each other's eyes, then both smiled brightly at each other.
Someone sighed behind them that had them freezing, eyes wide as they both turn. They saw Roxanne, Shino and Hinata: Roxanne had a goofy smile, Shino holding up Hinata, and Hinata with a red face, nose bleeding and fainted in Shino's arms.
"Oh. My. God!" Roxanne said and Shino grunted his agreement
Both buys blushed, smiled and took 1 step apart while Naruto chuckled and rubbed the back of his hand. Sasuke just smirked and crossed his arms, turning slightly to face the other way.
A moment later: "What happen to Hinata?" Naruto asks, coming closer to the other group with Sasuke following.
"It was too much for her" Shino said as he adjusted Hinata.
"What was too much" Naruto ask innocently
"You know" Roxanne said as she twirled her finger towards the boys with a smug smile that had both boys blushing again.
"But it was awesome!" Roxanne's clone exclaimed as she appeared next to Roxanne "The fight, the end and the kiss was Legendary!" She fist pumped the air
"Kool, can't wait to see it" the original said "Um, where the other one?"
"Here!" said from behind the group who all turned to see Roxanne coming around the corner, no camera in sight but gave a very discreet wink to the original, whom smiled.
"Alright, I'm out" Said the Roxanne standing by the group, with a salute, she puffed away. Once she did, Roxanne smiled at the memories she got of the boys fight from earlier.
"So now what?" the other Roxanne asked as she took the place of the other Roxanne.
"Well, I got to get Hinata home so she can rest, I'm not sure when she'll wake up" Shino said as he picks up Hinata bridal style.
"You are gonna have a hard time explaining to her parents"
"No shit" and then took off.
Waving at the departing back of one Shino Aburame, both Roxanne turn to the boys
"Since we all did well today, might I suggest ramen for dinner, my treat"
Zoom! An after image of Naruto stood in his place as Sasuke waved the image away.
"Really?" Sasuke said as he turned to walk in the same direction as the now departed blonde.
"I'm leaving in the morning, Sasuke, for 2 days. It's only fair that I treat Naruto to ramen before I go" One of the Roxannes said as both flanked on either side of Sasuke.
"What about me?"
"What about you"
"You treat Naruto to ramen, his favorite food in all the worlds and what do I get?"
"My apartment"
"What?"
"For 2 days, you get my apartment"
Silence as they walked, Sasuke trying to wrap his head around the fact that Roxanne just offered her apartment to Sasuke for the 2 days she'll be absent. 2 days of living under Naruto's apartment, 2 days of living with Naruto, 2 days of just him and Naruto. He liked the sounds of that.
"Alright"
"Alright" They both turned their head towards the other and smiled. They kept walking in comfortable silence through town and the markets. Once they see the front of the Ramen shop did one of the Roxanne lean over and whispers to Sasuke's ears:
"How'd he taste?"
"Did he taste good?" said the other
Those comments froze Sasuke entirely in the middle of the street as both Roxanne kept right on walking with a very smug smirk.
OOOOO
Later on that night, the 4 headed back and yet did not question on the extra Roxanne that spend the day with them, just good to know they each had their own.
Up the stairs, the boys bypassing Roxanne's door to go up to Naruto's to change into something comfortable while both Roxanne went to their door, unlocked and tossed the keys on the table.
Both Roxanne rummaged through the closet for 2 different reasons. One grabbed her clothes for the night while the other grabbed the camera she had stashed earlier. Checking the film, she noticed it had 1 last picture that needed to be taken before she can reroll the film and process it. So she got into position; pointing at the other Roxanne while she was looking for her fluffy slippers and click, picture taken. Once taken, the roll automatically rolled itself and Roxanne open up the back and took out the now full roll. The other Roxanne, having not noticed her picture taken, went to the bathroom with her clothes and got the shower ready. Pocketing the roll of film, Roxanne went to the shelf and picked out a movie to watch while she waited. Popping it in, she jumped and landed on the bed, with the remote in hand, she started the system.
Sometime later, the bathroom door open and Roxanne came out with a towel on her head as she rubbed her hair. Throwing the towel back in the bathroom, Roxanne went to her room and sat near the headboard, leaning back on the pillows.
"You know where everything is?" She asked her clone. Said clone nodded.
"Get everything ready before the boys come" The clone jumped up, took out what she needed in different place before bringing all to the bathroom. Roxanne, the one in the room, got comfortable in the middle of her bed and watch the movie that is still playing.
A minute later, there was a knock at the door but instead of waiting the boy opened and went straight to the kitchen. Popcorn and drinks later, the boys came in the room and plopped themselves on both sides of Roxanne, handing her a drink and got comfortable.
"Where's the other one?" Sasuke asked as he handed the bowl of popcorn to Roxanne.
"Bathroom" Taking a handful and stuffed it in her mouth.
When the movie ended and the credits rolled, Naruto got up and changed the movie. Roxanne, who mentally squealed in glee like a big ole fangirl, took Naruto spot and took a sip of her drink. Sasuke noticed and quirked an eyebrow at her but blanked his face when Naruto turned back around.
"Hey, that my spot"
"I know and it's glorious. You can take my spot"
"But that's my spot"
"The pillow is more comfortable in the middle and I prefer if my leg dangled from the edge so it won't fall asleep" and to emphasize her point, her leg hanged off the edge.
"ok" Sounding not quite sure but still crawled to the middle and got comfortable. Roxanne took the remote and press play. After a few minutes of watching did Roxanne felt the slight tension that was in Naruto ease down to a relaxed reclined figure on the fluffy pillows. She can also feel the tension leave from Sasuke as he too leaned back on the pillows.
After that, everyone was relaxed and watching the movie. However a small movement a moment later caught Roxanne's attention and so, she turned her head just a bit to see from the corner of her eye and not to attract attention to herself. She smiled when she saw that Naruto had his arm around Sasuke's shoulders holding him to his chest as Sasuke is laying snugged into Naruto's side.
Turning back to the TV, Roxanne shifted so her head could lay on Naruto's shoulder and the warmth of him and the rest of the day caught up with her as she had a small smile while drifting off to sleep.
OOOOO
Roxanne woke with a start, blinking to the darkness of her room, spreading out her senses as to why she woke up and finding nothing. She yawned and nuzzled the arm under her head, feeling the warmed of the body behind her along with the light snoring she could hear.
Then the memories came from her clone whom just puffed away a minute ago. Watching in her minds eye the day it experience and to the odd jobs given to her by the original. Roxanne soaked it all up and once she did, she sat up and stood. Heading out to the main room, Roxanne began her stretches and wiped her eyes before heading to the bathroom. Forgoing the shower, she changed into the clothes that were left there by her clone and washed her face. One swipe of her comb, she exited the bathroom and turned off the light, heading back to her room and picked up the bag that was on the floor. Her clone had packed everything she needed for the next 2 days. Pack on her back, Roxanne took one more look at the boys asleep on her bed: Naruto spread out on the bed and Sasuke curled up on his right side with his head on Naruto's arm just like the way Roxanne woke up. Turning around, Roxanne headed to the door, opening and closing it, she took a deep breath of the crisp cool air outside. At the cooing sounds, Roxanne turned her head to see carrier pigeons on the railing. Smiling, she took out a piece of scroll and pen, scratching a note, she rolled it up and tucked it in the leg holster of the pigeon. Murmuring its destination to the bird, it took off and Roxanne watched it blend in with the dark.
Cracking her neck, Roxanne jumped over the railing and went to the east side entrance where her Jonin will be waiting, hopefully.
OOOOO
Milo only had a second to react when a hand slapped him on the back with a force that nearly knocked him off balance. Growling and sighing at the same time, he turned to Roxanne who had a smirk on her face and Milo took a deep breath.
"One of these days, you are going to get a knife in your hand"
"Depends on today"
"What do you mean?"
"I'll explain later on our way" Giving a 2 finger salute to the guards at the check in station, Roxanne disappeared. One more deep breath, Milo followed and wondered what Roxanne meant.
At the speed they are going, Milo kept track of the landscapes, the foliage and any near by water source but Roxanne has yet to slow down.
Many hours later, Roxanne stopped by a large rock with a stream nearby and took off her pack to lean against the rock. Milo instead choose to just drop where he stood.
"We could of stopped some time ago"
"We could and it would of defeat the purpose of this mission to stop back there instead of here"
"What's so significant about this place?"
"Half way to our destination"
Milo evened out his breath and sat up, took out his canister of water and gulped down 2 mouthfuls. Sighing a relief, he tosses to the ground by his feet and rummaged through his pack for an energy bar, looking at Roxanne as she leaned up against the rock.
"Where are we going?"
"A couple more hours to go" was all she said
"What the mission?"
"Didn't the Hokage tell you?" Milo shook his head
"All I got was a scroll that said this is Top Secret, had to follow you to where ever we're going and that you will explain the mission. Failing to keep said secret a secret will result in my immediate death" Milo said as he took a bite from his bar and waited for Roxanne to talk.
"Kool, I'll explain when we get to the site and not before"
"What?!"
"There's always eyes and ears everywhere" She said twirling her finger "And where we are going is isolated" Standing up again, she stretched, cracked some joints and picked up her pack. "Lets go" was all she said before taking off.
Milo took a deep breath and put away the canister before he too took off after Roxanne.
The last light of day is when they finally stopped again and Milo nearly collapse, falling instead to his knee as he looked to Roxanne, who didn't look tired or out of breath or anything from the long trip.
'Who is this girl?' he thought but then his attention got caught by the cliff she is now standing dangerously close to.
"Wha" but didn't get to finish because Roxanne turned to him, smiled and fell back over the cliff.
"HEY!" and scrambled to the edge with a horror stricken face, imagining the splattered remains of his charge.
Instead he see Roxanne standing on the edge, smiling.
"Bitch" he grumbles at her as she smiles back
"Come on" she gestures to him as she proceeded to walk the side of the cliff downwards. Milo sighs but follows her down. Measuring the distance from the cliff top to the bottom where it meets the water, Milo figures it about 1000 feet, maybe more. However Roxanne started moving to the right side more and there, Milo could see from a short distance, a beach area with an opening into the side of the cliff. Picking up her pace, Roxanne ran and pushed herself off the cliff side and land on the white sands of the beach. Milo did no such thing, as he is still a bit tired from the ordeal of having to run across the country with no breaks except to relieve himself.
When he finally made it to the beach, he saw a pile of firewood ready along with a fishing rod and nets to the side. He looked to Roxanne who is now sitting on a log and she gestured to him to sit, so he did.
"Alright. As you are sworn to secrecy and if you pass then this little excavation will happen every month and with you tagging along"
"What do you mean 'If I pass' and tagging along? What exactly is this?" He gestured to everything.
"Between us and the Hokage: no one and I mean No One is to know about this. I made a deal with the old man that if he wanted me to stay in his village, defending it and making good money for it then what I am about to tell will not get out. If it does, I am within my rights to defend myself and my secret, that means I get to kill you and make it look like an accident. The Hokage know and will vouch for any story I give him"
Shocked silence.
"What I am about to do will last 24 hours when the moon is at it's highest tonight until tomorrow night when again it's at its highest. You are to stay out here while I go in there" She pointed to the opening in the cliff side "Under no circumstance are you to go in, No matter what you hear BUT if you do, consider yourself already dead when I come back out"
Again, shocked silence
"If you happen to actually do as I say and not endanger yourself, I will gladly explain further once this is over. But if not, then nice knowing you" Roxanne said as she clapped him on the shoulder, standing and making her way into the opening.
Milo stared wide eyed at Roxanne until her form disappeared into the cliff, unable to form any thoughts or voice any words. He had no idea how long he stayed like that but once he is able to form anything, only one thing came to mind:
'Who is this girl?!'
