Present day with Roxanne:
Sun shining from up high through the clouds, birds singing from all around and the wind dancing among the trees as sounds of running and jumping could be heard from the ground. A blur ran by the trees and in the trees, being mindful of the bundle on its back but still maintaining a fast speed. Only when they heard a sound from their bundle did they slowed to a stop by a river, untying the rope that kept their bundle firmly on their back and gently slipped them on the ground, propped up against a tree.
"Shit" they moaned and rubbed their head "Did anyone get the number off that truck?" and slid sideways down to the ground.
"Yeah, sorry about that. Should have been a bit careful of that first tree I jumped on" said the carrier.
"You slammed me into a tree?! The fuck, Roxanne!?"
"You're being dramatic, Milo. I didn't slam you into a tree. I jumped into a tree and miscalculated the height of one of the branches and your head just happen to connect with it"
"Fancy way of saying you slammed me into a tree" Milo said as he sat back up and looked around where they were.
"Where in the hell are we?"
"Well" Taking out a canister and having a sip, Roxanne cleared her throat and looked around as she too sat and leaned up against a tree.
"I'd say we are about half way home" a crack caught Roxanne's attention and turned to Milo who is now rubbing his neck and hissing.
"Last time I checked, we were a full day away from home and we left at the break of dawn on the first day and ran at break neck speed"
"And the last time I checked, you woke up at dawn today and have been pretty much unconscious since"
"About that" Milo looked to Roxanne who stared back.
"What else is there to say: I go into heat every month for one full day on the night when the moon is at its fullest"
"Every month?"
"Every month since I was 10, yes"
"But you've been in the village for"
"About a month. I came the day after one of these episodes and enrolled right away. Informed the Hokage of my condition and we made a deal. As luck would have it, I came at the right time for the Genin exams and got you as my Jonin and here we are"
"What happens to you when you go in that cave?" Roxanne gave a fangy grin, her incisors still extended from last night
"From an underage minor advising an adult, it would be very inappropriate to go into details on the happenings of my conditions. We'll just leave it at that" Milo held up his hands in silent surrender and rubbed his head again.
"If I was unconscious since this morning, how are you able to get this far with my added dead weight and pack?"
"What are you? A buck eighty-six?" Milo looked horrified at the suggestion
"No! one seventy-four" Roxanne snorted at that number
"Felt like a buck eighty-six, you should recheck that"
"Anyways!" Roxanne laughed as she stood and started stretching her muscles.
"Let's just say it was a great work out, almost broke a sweat with your 200 pounds of flesh"
"174!"
"I just tied you on and ran for it, hoping I didn't scramble your brain on that first tree. So lunch?"
"Scramble my brains alright" Milo stood also and had to hold onto the tree he was leaning against to steady himself and when he could stand, he started stretching too, getting his muscle to move and crack any joints. "Yeah, lunch sounds good"
"Alright, you go fishing while I get the fire going" Roxanne said as she walked off to find what she needs to make a fire. Milo watched her go for a moment then went to the river.
Watching the fish swim with the flow of the river, Milo did a couple hand signs to make a sphere made out of water from the river small enough to capture a few fishes in and once it did, he maneuvered the sphere to the shore. Dropping the jutsu, Milo took out his knife and hit each fish on the handle part of his knife to stun them so they wouldn't wriggle around as much when cleaning them.
Roxanne came back with an armful of firewood and started on arranging the split woods and kindling, she flicked her finger for a spark and the fire slowly caught on. Letting it burn, Roxanne went in search of sticks for their fish, noticing Milo watching her and when she found a couple good length ones, she sat near the fire and took out her knife.
"Yes?" she asked
"You're a fire user?"
"Sure" Roxanne shrugged as she replied, skinning the sticks and sharpening it.
"I haven't seen you do any jutsu since we started"
"I've noticed you are a water user, are you worried about being compatible?" Handing the sticks to Milo, he speared each fish and put over the fire.
"Not compatible per say, more like it would have been nice to know you are a fire user. You know, get to know one another kind of deal if we are going to be together for a while"
"Hmm, alright. I know how much you weight, how you are easy to sneak up on, any huge shock will have you fainting and that you are a water user" Roxanne started off the conversation, Milo chuckled but began his:
"I know you can easily kill me in my sleep or slit my throat without me knowing, you don't break a sweat no matter how fast or far you travel, you can lift and travel with my dead weight on your back, clearly you have more experience than any other Genin that graduated in this class and so should be Jonin, you have a tail and once a month have to be quarantined for 1 day on the full moon" Roxanne nodded with a smile.
"Do you have any parents?" she asked as she moved around the embers of the fire. Milo shook his head and turned the fish.
"They died my first Genin year, they were Jonins and had an accident on a routine mission. My uncle took me in until I was old enough to be on my own. What about you?"
"They died when I was very young, our maid was the closest family member I had so she became my guardian but I have been on my own since then. Traveling, learning, and surviving. I write to her so she doesn't worry but she knows I can take care of myself"
Milo nodded "I bet she does" picked up one of the fish sticks and hands it over to Roxanne who nods in thanks and takes a bite. Milo took one and bit into it also, chewing slowly as he thought about what to ask and when one did popped up, he whispered it like it was a secret.
"How old were you when you first killed a man?"
"Young enough to know it was not worth the time and effort of hunting them down and making them suffer" Milo was taken back on the flat tone of her voice and the blankness of her face in talking about taking a life, like it was an everyday occurrence. Milo then stared at the fire for a moment, his mind trying to wrap around what she said and shook out of it when she asked how old was he the first time.
"It was my third year as Genin, I passed out after and woke up a couple days later" Roxanne snorted,
"Shocker" and laughed at her own joke, picking up another stick of fish and took a big bite out of it. Milo ignored her as he picked up another fish stick and asked another question:
"You been to the land of snow?"
"Love it! Wish I could live there, always preferred the winter months and also the best training area to learn to survive in because of the freezing temperatures, the ice and snow" Sighs then turns to Milo. "You've been?"
"A couple times yeah, on delivering a scroll or some other item. Never liked it but it was good pay" Taking a bite and chewing, Milo looked up at the clouds.
"Where's the longest you stayed in a village?"
"Sand, other great training area. Stayed a year and always went back over the years to spice up my training"
"I've always lived in the village, it's where my parents are buried and most likely will keep living there when I settle down and have kids" Looking to Roxanne as she tossed her stick in the lowering embers of the fire.
"You ever had these questions asked from your friends?" Roxanne shook her head.
"Strangely no, but I figure it's time we actually started to get into it, we're all close enough for them to know me more on the inside if we are going to be roommates"
"Roommates? How are you roommates? Don't they have their own home?" Roxanne nodded as she stood and kicked soiled onto the lowering fire. Milo too stood and helped on his end with the fire.
"The boys keep a bag of clothes at our place. I can't remember the last time Sasuke went home to sleep"
"It's serious then?" a nod "Well, yeah, I guess it is time for you to let them in"
"Yep. So, you ready for the long road?" Milo groaned
"No" He groaned again and rubbed the back of his neck "I rather have you slam my head against a tree, call it an accident and carry me the rest of the way"
Roxanne stood silently for a second then threw her head back and laughed, clutching her sides. Laughter lasted a minute then she turned to Milo as she wiped her eyes with bits of laughter coming out.
"I'll do it, you know I'll knock you out and carry you the rest of the way, I'll do it" Roxanne threaten her Jonin and said Jonin gave a minute to consider what he's asking for. It didn't last long.
"Go for it…" and before he could finish the sentence, Milo fell to the ground, unconscious once again. Roxanne chuckled at the sight as she dusted her hands off.
"He asked for it" said to no one in particular as she took out the rope she needs to strap on the knocked out Jonin. Picking up her pack and Milo's pack, one on her back and the other on her front, she lifted the adult male onto her back and shoulders, settling him as best as she can before tying him on.
Making sure Milo is completely out and set, Roxanne made a couple hand signs for a water sphere to float over from the river to the firepit and drenched it entirely. Toeing the pit, making sure it's completely soaked, Roxanne nodded and faced the direction of where she'll be heading.
Cracking her neck, adjusting the dead weight on her shoulders, Roxanne smiled and jumped onto a branch, a resounding whack could be heard along with laughter.
"Oops"
OOOOO
Present day with the boys:
Eyes fluttering to wakefulness, not understanding yet as to what woke them, but tighten their hold on the warm body close to them. A small nuzzle later, a deep inhale of the scent from their bedmate, and finally they slipped their arms slowly off the body next to them and turned on their back, stretching the sleepiness away. Sitting up, they turned to the window and saw the sun about to come out. A moan from their bedmate told them that they will be waking soon and so stood and grabbed their bag, fishing out the clothes needed for their morning workout. Heading to the bathroom to do their business, change and wash up, they heard the movement of their bedmate heading for the door, letting them know they'll be right back.
Drying his face, Sasuke went to the kitchen and grabbed two water bottles out of the fridge. Sitting them down on the table, Sasuke went to the room and sat down, leaning down to pick up the weights that was discarded the night before and strapped them on. Sasuke stood just as Naruto came back, dressed in workout clothes and ready.
Looking to Sasuke's feet, Naruto smiled and nodded at his dark haired roommate, who rolled their eyes at the blonde. Heading to the table, Sasuke picked up the bottles and tossed one to Naruto.
"Let's go, we're burning daylight"
"The daylight just started, Sasuke"
Scoffs "You know what I mean, Naruto" Locking the door behind them, they opted for the stairs instead and walked to the nearest village wall, slowly waking up their muscles and body. When they reached the wall, they stashed their bottles and began stretching.
No words needed to be said as they started their jog, listening instead to the waking of the village: the birds, the little critters and what little wind blowing through the trees.
When they reached a third round is when they decided to end, doing their cool down and have a drink from their water bottles. Walking back to the apartment building, Naruto splashing any puddles he see and laughing while Sasuke smiled at his antics but keeping a distance so not to be splashed at.
Walking up the steps, Sasuke saw that Naruto's shoes were soaked and told him so.
"I got another pair, don't worry" but Sasuke's brows furrowed in worry that Naruto might get sick and said so. Again Naruto told him not to worry.
When they reached Roxanne's floor, Naruto kept going and waved to Sasuke that he'll be back. Sasuke watched Naruto's soaked feet making tracks up the stairs with a worried look on his face.
Going to the door and unlocking it, Sasuke went to the room and sat on the bed, unstrapping the weights from his ankles. Grabbing another set of clothes, Sasuke noticed that he's running low on clean clothes and so he got up, tossed his set of clothes on the bed and went and grabbed the laundry basket set in the corner of the room. Taking out all his dirty clothes from the bag into the basket, he looked around the room for the laundry detergent and dryer sheets. Once located the needed items, he picked up his clothes and went to the bathroom for a shower.
Door open to let the steam out, Sasuke could smell breakfast being made and smiled. Picking up his dirty clothes from the morning and about to head out is when he stopped, looking to the hamper. Shrugging, he took that too and went straight to the room, sitting on the bed and sorted out the dirty laundry. Leaving the clothes that belong to Roxanne, not sure how she does her own laundry, Sasuke took out all the towels and tossed those in the basket along with his clothes. Doing the signs for a clone, he pointed at the basket and told it where the laundry room is. The clone saluted, picked up the basket with the detergent and dryer sheets and went on its way, waving at Naruto in the kitchen.
"You're learning" Naruto commented as he turned the bacon.
"From you" Sasuke said with a slight upturn of his lip in a form of a small smile. Naruto turned to Sasuke in surprise, not expecting any praise but smiled nonetheless and turn away quickly to hide his blush, feeling the warmth spread through his chest. Sasuke noticed that the blonde had turned and looking at the tip of his ears, he knew that Naruto was blushing which made his not-so smile into a smile and his chest filled with pride (or smugness, I haven't decided)
"Need any help?"
"Juice?" Sasuke nodded and went to the fridge, taking out the pitcher of juice and placed it on the table that had already been set up with plates and utensils. Going to the cupboards and taking two glasses, Sasuke set them on the table before sitting down, watching the blonde's movement. Scoping up the bacon to a paper towel on a plate, shutting off the oven and picking up the plate of eggs and bacon, Naruto turned to the table and set them on the table before sitting down on his side of the table. Looking up and noticing the watchful eye of his teammate, Naruto just smiled and waved him off, filling his plate. Sasuke did the same and once again no words needed to be said as they enjoyed their breakfast.
Sasuke did the cleaning and told Naruto to sit, he pouted at first then shrugged and watched. Once the kitchen was cleaned along with the table, Sasuke tossed the wet cloth into the empty sink and looked at Naruto, who is looking at Sasuke's feet. The dark haired Genin scoffed when he realized that the blonde was checking to see if he had his weights on.
"Ready?"
"Yep" Standing and heading to the door, Sasuke followed, making sure he had the keys in his pockets before locking up and walked to the stairs.
Taking their time to the meeting place, the boys enjoyed the walk and listening to the town getting ready for the day. As they got close to the area, they could see at a distance a pink blob sitting on the bridge looking down on the water and as she cleared up, Naruto yelled a good morning to their pink haired teammate.
"Morning guys!" Sakura yelled back as she continued to watch the water flow under the bridge.
Sasuke and Naruto sat down on either sides of her and they too watch the water flow.
"Nice day today" Sakura commented, both boys grunted in response.
"It's like it didn't even rain at all" She added and both boys nodded.
"Outside work today" silence was the answer but Sakura didn't take any offense to the boys lack of response and continued watching the flow.
"Yo!" came a minute later but no response from his students. Huffing, Kakashi stepped closer to lean over the railing to see what's got his students interests. Seeing nothing, he straighten up and crossed his arms, clearing his throat for the attention of his students but only Sakura turned.
"Oh, Hi Kakashi-sensei, when did you get here?" She asked fully turning from the water and leaning back against the railing. The boys noticed her movement and so turned themselves to see their sensei standing behind them.
"Oh, Kakashi-sensei, when did you get here?" Asks Naruto as he and Sasuke also turned and leaned back against the railing.
"Just now. What's so interesting in the water that you didn't noticed?"
"It's soothing" Kakashi's brow went up in question and watched as the rest nodded in agreement.
"Hmm. Ok, let's get going"
His team stood, dusted off their clothes and followed him without question, not even to ask what will they be doing today.
"I hope it's a long day" Naruto said, breaking the silence surrounding the group on their walk.
"Why do you say that, Naruto?" Sakura asked curious
"Well. A long day tends to make the day go faster, plus having a long day does help with working out during the days, even if it's just minor work. And if this day is going to be long then at least it'll be dinner time by the time we finished"
"Hmm. True. I agree, I do hope it'll be a long day" Sakura said as Sasuke grunted in agreement.
"I bet the cat is loose again" Naruto chuckled
"I bet it is" Sasuke said
OOOOO
Of course the cat was loose and knew it's chasers tricks by now but the team decided to take their time on this one as it was the last of their duties for the day. Kakashi sat on a bench somewhere and waited, reading his book in private, quietly giggling.
The team had set up a make shift trap and sent out some clones to maneuver the cat to the area they were sitting. Naruto laid on his stomach on a tree branch looking down with his head on his hands, Sasuke sat leaned up against the same tree but different branch with his eyes closed and Sakura sat watching the ground from her perch below the boys, swinging her legs.
A rustle caught her attention and she got the boys attention. All looked down, searching for their prey. Moments passed but still could not see anything that resembles their prey. Until…
"Meow"
All gave a little jump at the sound and looked up to see Tiger cleaning herself on the branch above them all. Naruto laughed and waved at the cat.
"Good one! You tired yet, kitty?" It gave a yawn and stretch in response.
"OK, can I pick you up?"
"Meow" Naruto stood up from his branch and climbed up to the cat, picking her up and rubbing her head.
"You must be tired after all that run around. Did you lose our clones?"
"No" The team looked down and saw their clones standing on the ground floor with their arms crossed. The three jumped down and walked over.
"What you mean no?"
"We chased it here and waited to see if it'll go in the trap"
"It probably already saw the trap and decided on a different tactic"
"Alright, we got her so you all can go now. Thanks for doing the leg work"
"Always" The three clones saluted and puffed away.
"Let's find Kakashi" Sasuke said and lead the way. Tiger cuddled up to Naruto and soon enough, she was dozing while purring at the warmth of the blonde.
"Not a bad days work" Sakura said as she rubbed Tiger's head with her fingers
"And just in time for dinner" Sasuke nodded from the front.
After they located Kakashi and followed him back to the Hokage's office to release Tiger to her owner, the boys waved to Sakura and started home. Sasuke stopped walking at the thought.
'Home'
Naruto kept walking a couple steps then stopped when he noticed his teammate wasn't by his side and turned back around, giving Sasuke a questionable look.
"Come on Sasuke, let's get home so we can start on dinner"
Sasuke looked at Naruto for a moment when he said let's get home.
A warm feeling fill his chest and smiled, walking up to the blonde and put his arm around his shoulders.
"Yeah, let's go home" Naruto smiled back and wrapped his arm around the dark haired teens waist. They walked arm in arm back to the apartment in silence, enjoying the other's company and warm presence.
OOOOO
Night time: owls hooting, critters scurrying around and the evening guards at the east entrance are playing a game of cards. One of them is shuffling, one of them is yawning and another is taking a sip of his drink, neither noticed a dark figure pick up a pen and quickly wrote down on the check in log book.
The figure then disappeared and reappeared at the hospital entrance where once again they were not seen but wrote down on the log sheet before disappearing again. Appearing in one of the empty hospital rooms, the figure looked out the door window and seeing the coast was clear, started untying the rope that held their bundle on their back. Carefully slipping the bundle off their back and onto the bed, they moved the arms and legs so it is not dangling off. Taking one of the packs off their person, the figure set the pack on the floor by the bed and looked to the bundle. Smiling, the figure pressed the call button on the wall by the bed and disappeared. The nurse was in for a surprise.
A blur ran quietly on the roof tops, sticking to the shadows and with a great giant leap soared through the sky, landing on the roof top of their apartment building. Heading for the door, they quietly went down the steps to their floor and unlocked their door. Dropping their bag by the door after closing it, they went straight for the bathroom for a much needed shower, ignoring the surprised looks from their roommates.
"Was that Roxanne?" Naruto asks when the bathroom door closed.
"Yeah, unless you know anyone else that has keys to this apartment?" Naruto huffed at that comment and laid back down, pressing the play button on the remote to restart the movie they paused. Sasuke stayed sitting up and wondered out loud.
"You think she'll be hungry when she gets out?"
"Maybe"
"I'll warm up the left over from our dinner" Sasuke said as he stood from the bed and went to the kitchen. Taking out containers of food and a plate from the cupboards, Sasuke filled the plate and put in the microwave. Getting back on the bed, Sasuke fluffed a pillow and laid back down watching the movie Naruto picked out.
Neither were ready for the wet body wrapped in towel coming into the room looking for clean clothes an hour later.
Sasuke sprang into a sitting position with wide eyes looking at the wet form of Roxanne's covered back side as he shuddered for breath. Naruto slowly sat up, admiring the said back side and noticing the dark hair teen's reaction. Scooting close to Sasuke's side and leaned in to his ear as he whispered:
"First time seeing a half-naked girl?" a shiver and a nod for an answer. They both watched as Roxanne picked out what she wanted and left the room, eyes following her out. Once out of sight did Sasuke breathe and put a hand to his chest, feeling his rapidly beating heart, the sweat rolling down his neck and shivers.
"What happening to me?"
"You ever had that reaction to a girl?"
"No, none of them were" gesturing with his hands "Like that!"
"So if Sakura or Ino or Hinata came out like that, wet in a towel, this wouldn't happen?" Naruto asked as he gestured to Sasuke's current form and Sasuke shook his head after he thought about it.
"No"
"So only Roxanne can get this reaction?"
Sasuke shrugged
"Think about it. If she came out here: in a tank, no bra, very short shorts and snuggled up against you" Naruto would of kept going but Sasuke's immediate reaction stopped him.
Breathing heavily, skin flushed, sweat rolling down his face and neck, and when Naruto took a peak down, he noticed a slight bulge in his pants.
"Ok. Now think about this: Ino in a tank top, no bra, short shorts and" Again he would of kept going but noticed no reaction other than the deflation of his pants. Naruto chuckled and patted Sasuke's shoulder.
"yep, only Roxanne" and laid back down, but Sasuke wasn't finished with the conversation
"Wait, what does it mean?"
"It means you have the hots for Roxanne and only now your body is catching up with what I assume your mind already made up a long time ago"
"But your body is not reacting the same and you've liked her as long as I have"
"True, but" Sitting back up "I've noticed the female form a long time ago. Where you'd think I got my Sexy Jutsu from?" Sasuke shrugged
"I don't know. Magazines?" Naruto snorted and patted Sasuke's shoulder
"Please. Magazines don't do justice to the actual female form, especially the form of my Sexy Jutsu"
"What does that mean?"
"Means I did my research"
The bed dipped when Roxanne came back with a plate of food and sat at the end of the bed with her legs crossed and a napkin on her lap.
"What you guys talking about?" a shoved a spoonful of food in her mouth.
"My Sexy Jutsu" Naruto answered as he watched Roxanne get comfortable on the bed in an overly large t-shirt and pajama pants, hair fluffed up from blow drying and her tail wrapped up in a towel. Roxanne swallowed her food before talking.
"I don't think you've showed me your Sexy Jutsu" Naruto put a finger to his chin and thought about it while Roxanne continued eating and Sasuke watched the interaction between his bedmates but noticed the towel.
"Your tail still wet?" Roxanne looked to Sasuke and then to her tail, swallowed and spoke.
"Yeah, it's a bitch sometimes but I think it's because the fur is thicker than my hair" and wiped her lips with the back of her hand then wiped her hand on her pjs, completely missing the napkin.
"You're right, I've showed Sasuke the newer version some time ago but you've never seen it"
"Exactly" Roxanne said as she pointed her spoon to the blonde "So man up and woman down" She laughed at her own joke.
"Why are you eating with a spoon?" Sasuke interrupted just as the blonde was about to make his hand signs. Both Roxanne and Naruto looked at her spoon then back to Sasuke.
"More portions then a fork?" Naruto questioned.
"Cause it's easier" Roxanne said as she shrugged then turned to Naruto "Alright, let's see if you're cuter then me"
"I doubt anyone's cuter then you" Sasuke said under his breath hoping no one heard but both Roxanne and Naruto heard with their great hearing skills and so they both smiled at him, making him blush a nice red, turning his head away and clearing his throat.
"Thanks but I'll be the judge of that, Now switch" Pointing her spoon at Naruto just as he did the signs and poof: a girl Naruto with long blonde pigtails. Dressed in a tight fitting t-shirt that showed her midriff and shorts that showed off her long legs. Roxanne stared as she chewed her food, studying girl Naruto head to toe, tilting her head one side then the other. Swallowing, she clicked her tongue and gave a thumbs up.
"Cute, you'll make a fine wife someday" Naruto laughed "Tell me Naruto: as a girl, does all the plumbing work?"
"I don't know, I didn't get check out as a girl before because I don't really use this form as much. Unless I wanted to make a quick getaway" He shrugged
"Plumbing?" Sasuke asked. Roxanne got up from the bed but answered the question
"Yeah, plumbing Sasuke. You know, menstrual cycle, the womb, ovaries etc, etc" Putting her plate in the sink and going over to the fridge for a bottle of water, then she went back to her place on the bed.
"Girls have very difficult plumbing compared to you guys what with all the mechanic needed to make babies and don't get me started on the mood swings and cramps" She took a drink of water. Closing her cap she noticed that Sasuke's head was down but from her angle she could see that his face was red. Naruto, still in his girl form, poked Sasuke's cheek.
"You do know about girls and their works, right?" Naruto asked as he twirled his hair
"Do you?"
"Yes"
"How?"
"Well. When I first made this jutsu, I was flat chested and had choppy hair cut up to here" He pointed to his jawline "but still a girl. I went to the walk in clinic and ask questions. They saw me as a girl so they just gave me the information and believe me, it was shocking, I know but after I finished being a blabbering mess and soaked in the information, it sort of helped to understand how girls work. Especially that time of the month and when that happens, just smile, agree with everything they say and always have chocolate ready" Roxanne nodded along
"Great strategy but if you've never got checkup as a girl then how do you know if anything works as a girl?"
"What are you suggesting?"
Roxanne smirked with one eyebrow raised. Sasuke still had his head down in embarrassment.
"I'll think about it"
"Great. Now back to the other topic. Sasuke" His head lifted a millimeter
"You do know about girls, right?" Naruto again poked Sasuke's red cheek and after a while Sasuke nodded his head.
"The mechanics of it?" again he nodded
"And where babies come from?" Taking a deep breath and nodded.
"Great! End of topic!" Sasuke let out the breath and slowly lifted his head to see Naruto and Roxanne smiling at him.
"See, it wasn't so bad" Naruto said as he patted Sasuke's shoulder
"Yeah and" Lifting his hand to Naruto's face and tucked in a strand of hair behind his ear
"You are sort of cute" A tint of red coated Naruto's cheeks
"But I like Naruto the way he is" Said blonde's eye widen then he shoved Sasuke as he laughed.
"Oh, Sasuke-teme, you just know what to say to a girl" and laughed at his own joke as he poof back to his original gender.
"Now scoot over, what you guys watching anyways?" Roxanne asked as she moved between the boys and rearranged the pillows before sitting back.
"I have to rewind it back since we started talking" Naruto said as he picked up the remote and pressed the back button as he adjusted his position on the bed. Roxanne nodded while picking up her towel wrapped tail and began rubbing it dry. Sasuke watched her toweling her tail.
"Can I?" Roxanne turned to him
"What?" she asked
"Can I dry your tail?" Roxanne stopped her movement to stare at Sasuke and Naruto sat up from his prone position on the pillows to stare at Sasuke also. Sasuke didn't know what he said to get those reactions until he remember that day and started stuttering.
"I didn't…. I mean…. Nevermi-"
"Ok" that one word stopped Sasuke from talking and stared in surprised.
"Ok" she said more firmly and carefully handed her towel wrapped tail over to Sasuke's lap. Naruto leaned over a bit more so his chest is in contact with Roxanne's back and his head rested on her shoulder, watching the scene in front of him unfold.
"Are you sure?" Sasuke whispered, like it was a delicate thing to talk about and Roxanne nodded.
"Just be careful" Sasuke nodded and slowly picked up the tail. Naruto and Roxanne watched as he started rubbing carefully from the top, not squeezing too much but also not holding the tail too loose. After watching him for a few minutes to see if he's handling the tail right, Naruto nudged Roxanne and laid back down. Taking the hint, Roxanne turned to her side and laid back on the pillows, giving Sasuke room to handle her tail. Smiling at the trust given to him, Sasuke took his time to dry the tail while the other two watched the movie in silence.
Combing his hand through the now dry tail, he felt the softness of it and an idea came to mind. Laying the tail down on the bed, Sasuke got up and went to the bathroom really quick, coming back and picking up the tail. Draping the towel over his lap and setting the tail on top of it, Sasuke took the brush and ran it slowly from the end to the tip. A jerk and shiver was his answer as both Roxanne and Naruto turned their heads to him. Roxanne because of the new sensation, and Naruto because he felt Roxanne jump as they both looked to Sasuke in question. Showing the brush he used, both Roxanne and Naruto nodded and laid back down, letting Sasuke resume his treatment.
Combing the brush through the tail from the end to the tip over and over, Roxanne eyes started to drop and her breathing started to even out. Soon she nodded off to sleep without either boys noticing as one was too into the movie and the other was too into the tail. Only when the sounds coming from the only girl in bed did they noticed she was making those sounds and asleep.
"She's purring" Naruto whispered to Sasuke who smiled and continued on brushing.
Once Sasuke deemed the tail combed thoroughly and soft to the touch, he laid the tail on Roxanne and got up to put the brush and towel away. Coming back to bed, he fluffed his pillow and stretched out his legs before laying back against the pillow and watch the movie with Naruto.
When the movie ended, Sasuke waited for Naruto to shut it off but after a minute and no movement, he sat up and saw the blonde asleep on his side turned to Roxanne. Picking up the remote, Sasuke shut the system off and picked up the blanket at the end of the bed, draping it over the other two and laid back down. His head turned to the back of Roxanne's head, he mulled on what to do. His answer came when the tail that was over Roxanne wrapped itself around one of Sasuke's leg and tugged him closer. So scooting closer, he adjusted his pillow, wrapped an arm around Roxanne's midsection and settled down, breathing in the freshly washed hair. Sleep came quickly as he breathed in the scent and with a smile on his face, Sasuke fell to sleep.
