"No." Naruto said sitting by the fire cooking fish.
"I haven't asked anything?" Jiraiya said to him.
"You wanna know about Tommy, you wanna know about my chakra armor, and you wanna know about my weapons, skills, and a bunch of my stuff that is none of your damn business." Naruto said seeing his calculative look.
"Look I'm just looking out for you, what do you know about this guy?" Jiraiya asked him simply.
"Nice try and next time don't use an argument that can be used against you 'cause I don't know you." Naruto said to him.
Jiraiya had to give it to him he was making this difficult unlike most people his age and brought an argument back as well.
Naruto signed the toad contract and was able to summon some combat toads.
'And that's without the fox's chakra.' Jiraya thought seeing him use only his chakra and with very good control "so I hear this fight is gonna be intense, a Hyuga." he said wondering what his strategy was.
"Yeah, he's dead." Naruto said to him.
Jiraiya had been around a certain team mate of his to know when a threat was serious or not and that seemed very serious.
Naruto finished his food and got back to training.

'She's really getting creative.' Zabuza thought to himself as Haku could make ice with her chakra, but she was learning how to draw moisture from the air an ability not seen since the 2nd Hokage an ability most water users never bothered with often using scrolls to carry water or using the water from nearby bodies, or the second rarest using water from living things like trees and grass and the like.
Haku was growling in frustration as she needed a way to speed up her freezing time, if her targets were wet that aided her immensely, it was the reason she was going to learn how to summon it better and the fact that if she beat Sasuke and Naruto she'd have to fight Gaara the sand user.

'I need too increase my own abilities.' Shizuka thought as she knew she had done well enough in the training of her old village, and her elemental training was good, but she still had things she could learn as her ninja storm powers were all that was left for her 'ok my ninja sword is capable of absorbing energy and I can't ask Naruto for any ranger gear like the tsunami cycles.' she thought as her best option was to focus on the blade as it held much more power than she knew.
(few days later)
"Dude c'mon wake up!" Naruto said as he had Gaara sleeping in one of his guest's rooms as after he repaired them this was the first place he could place Gaara after fixing his seal knocked him out, what was also odd was when he did they were both pulled into a shared space which got wild as his Dragonzord attacked the fox and Gaara had a lion attack Shukaku 'guess Shizuka has a full ranger team now.' he thought as ranger teams sometimes started with three members and Shizuka, Hinata, and now Gaara made up the original trio for Ninja Storm and with Sasuke being his dubbed Violet Thunder, all that was missing was the green samurai ranger.
(1 hour later)
"Gaara I'm being serious, calm down." Naruto said as Gaara was having a hard time adjusting with his emotions and was both having panic attacks and bipolar issues suddenly feeling one thing after the next 'I swear he needs to calm the hell down.' he thought to himself as they were at the hospital here to see Lee.
Gaara nodded as everything seemed bright and more intense.
Naruto also wanted to see Lee as he couldn't stop all the damage Gaara did as after his fight and healing Hinata he had next to nothing, that threat he gave Neji was about all he could muster.
(10 minutes later)
'I can't heal this.'Naruto thought as Lee's bones were like splinter fragments and while his healing did clean up some things, but overall this is where it reached its limit, he went as far as to give Lee ranger powers, but that still had its limit.
"The samurai cyclone morpher." Gaara said seeing the necklace on Lee's neck.
"Honestly surprised he got that." Naruto said as it made sense to an extent.

"So they are candidates fro chunnin?" Zabuza said with a smirk on his face under his mask as the hokage was giving him reports from Ibiki and Anko "interesting and unique tactics well built amongst the team, well hidden skills and unique abilities, group tactical planning and smart decision making, and incredible combat ability." he said reading from the reports Ibiki and Anko submitted "can I trust Anko's word?" he asked as given Naruto told Anko and Kakashi to fuck off to seal the curse mark during the exams was a reason he had to question Anko's report.
"It was made before she met them again in the arena and I had her and Ibiki analyze both." Hiruzen said as he knew while Anko had many faults that most chalked up to as craziness, she didn't hold back good ninja.
Zabuza nodded taking him for his word, he kept track of his students not giving them any help unless what was asked "I have a question Jiraiya, what do you plan to do with that?" he asked him curiously.
"It's simple, Naruto can decide to do whatever he chooses to do." Hiruzen said as in the past few months he had seen Naruto grow as a ninja and as a man, he was proud of the man he was and becoming.
"Yeah, but he also gave me a message, the sand intends to betray us." Zabuza said as Gaara told Naruto and Naruto told him.
Hiruzen wished he could say he was surprised, but given some signs he was guessing Orochimaru was behind the coup.
"They intended to have Gaara attack during the exam, but I feel Naruto nutrelized that idea." Zabuza said as Naruto made a risky gamble fixing Gaara's seal and giving him ranger powers on top of that.
"If I know my former students as well as I think, he may utilize the snake contract he has." Hiruzen said knowing from the monkeys and toads that the snakes were vicious in combat.
"Are your students capable of summoning the zords?" Hiruzen asked as while he didn't like it those would be a crutial military power to protect the village from the invasion.
"Technically no." Zabuza said to him "but I may have found a loophole to that, the zords technically exist, but it's possible to summon them by physical means or create them by natural means." he said placing two small boxes on the table.
Hiruzen saw them and saw them pop up and unfolded one becoming a miniature lion and the other a dragon.
"These are the samurai folding zords small now, but powered by symbol power they grow…Naruto made these." Zabuza said as it was an impressive feat "he was thinking that it'd be possible with the ninja ranger weapons to summon their zords." he said as Naruto was getting in deep with ranger technology.
"And what of Haku?" Hiruzen asked him as from what he read the white mystic ranger had no zord.
"Naruto actually had an idea to that." Zabuza said as he wish he could've said he was drunk that day as Naruto showed up on an actual unicorn and gave it to Haku "the thing was called Brightstar." he said as the unicorn was now tied and bound to Haku.
"And what of Naruto we know he can summon his tiger spirit?" Hiruzen asked curiously.
"For Dino thunder that was both DNA and technology so he's working on that, Mystic Force we assume yes because his zord is a giant knight, you know about Samurai, and Mighty Morphin…" Zabuza said trailing off not knowing what to say "he said he MET the dragon zord and that idiot you call a student MET Tommy Oliver." he said as it didn't take a rocket scientist to connect those dots.
"Should we inform them?" Hiruzen asked him.
"It's a gamble they need to be at their best for the tournament if they are distracted that can cost them and it would be bad if they didn't show their best to potential clients." Zabuza said to him "let them focus." he said to him.
Hiruzen had to agree on that as he made his points.
(few days later)
"Have you lost your damn mind?" Tommy asked Naruto as he was seeing Naruto with a white bone shield "the triasic shield, Naruto your strong, but to tap into that on your own takes a lot of raw power and emotional power." he said as he didn't doubt the raw power part, but Naruto while suffering much had yet to reach the treshold to utilizing that.
"That's why, I need your help." Naruto said making Tommy raise a brow.
(1 hour later)
"The hell are we?" Tommy asked seeing they were in an alley and saw Naruto was staring at a wall 'the hell?' he thought as he noticed something about the wall, it was sorched and had after burn marks on it 'this was done with chakra.' he thought seeing as it was old as all hell and there was no scent.
"On my birthday a few years back, I was attacked, drag out of my house and set on fire here." Naruto said in a calm voice as he still remembered this day.
The dragon zord…was furious he heard that, but had a lot more respect for Naruto sharing that "Naruto would you like some advice, pain is a driving force, but it depends how we use it, I have been through many battles for good and for evil, but in the end all that matters is our choices, Tommy Oliver was a good man who did everything in his power to protect others, he didn't start out that way, but he didn't have a choice, just like you dind't have a choice for this." he said patting his stomach "but it was smart using your fears to get stronger, but I think you had an unintended effect." he said pointing at his morpher.
(few weeks later)
"Mystic Force red ranger." Zabuza said as he saw Naruto be the first to arrive followed by his other students, then Gaara and Temari, then Neji, and finally Shikimaru 'the fuck is he?' he thought looking for Kakashi and instead spotted a certain girl 'isn't that?' he thought recognizing Hinata, but she looked different a leather jacket with the ninja storm logo, a fishnet shirt like Anko's, a black combat skirt, and some shinobi sandle heels.

"I swear that idiot better show." Naruto said under his breath.
"Please I should be complaining, he's my match." Haku said to him, not liking this.
"I wouldn't rush if I were you, in the end my victory has been decided." Neji said to them as he was close by.
"And if by some cruel joke of the universe you win, if she doesn't kill you I will." Shizuka said to him.
They all waited for the first match to be called.
(with Hiruzen)
"Inform Genma that we are post ponning Sasuke's match, but he will not make it to chunin for this exam." Hiruzen said as it was one thing to be late to team meetings but late to an official event was unforgivable and could not be encouraged.
(with Naruto)
Naruto stood across from Neji and glared at him.
(with Haku)
"You feel that?" Haku asked Shizuka getting a look "he's radiating power." she said to her.
"More than that looked at the ground." Gaara said to them as they saw the green slowly but surely lose it's color.
(with Naruto)
Neji saw the look of Naruto's eyes past his visor as they were glowing a bright green, but seemed more reptillian like and were slits.
"Before we start, I want you to know the reason you're gonna be burned today." Naruto said to him "you hurt my friend and I'm not gonna let you get away with that, you dishonor the very headband you wear." he said taking out his transformed cellular morpher "Legendary Source Mystic Force!" he shouted.
"He unlocked legendary?!" Haku and Shizuka said in surprise as some ranger teams had a stage before battleizers and this was the Mystic Force's.
Tommy was in the crowd watching Naruto as after his confession he didn't unlock triasic like he desired, but got the next best thing with this mode 'he's getting more use to using my power.' he thought as while there was no link to them, the Mystic Force red ranger used a dragon power for battleizer, so Naruto's dragon power may have been adding it's own to the Mystic ranger's power.
"Lion staff, sword mode." Naruto said as the staff glowed turning into a pair of sabers with the phoenix symbol at the bottom.
Haku heard that the lion staff could act as weapons of their designed ranger 'he must've altered the power or maybe…he used his sword and combined them somehow.' she thought to herself thinking Naruto may have somehow combined both staffs together.
Naruto charged Neji with intent to stab him.
Neji dodged and aimed his palm for Naruto's wrist and when he did he backed away 'the heat is intense.' he thought thinking it was coming off the blades and was so hot it was covering Naruto's wrists.
Naruto stabbed the ground the ground beneath instantly cracking lifting up the ground that cracked around his blades.
'Wait is he gonna-' Genma was thinking seeing Naruto lift the ground that his swords were in and soon lifted a boulder that soon caught fire 'this kid isn''t making it easy for the Hyuga.' he thought as it was a both a smart and decent strategy to use fire as a way to attack Neji as it gave Naruto distance and Neji could harm himself.
(with Shikimaru)
'What's he up to.' Shikimaru thought as Naruto was fighting in a way that just seemed off to him.
Haku was wondering the same thing as well as while a good strategy to fight from a distance and at range via swords, this seemed more like a strategy she would use for combat.
"Udfus Bethud!" Naruto yelled out as Neji slipped upon himself.
"He's using magic?" Shizuka said in surprise.
"Chakra and magic were once called one in the same, it is entirely possible that magic is chakra and vice versa." Haku said as that was the history of the sage of the six paths.
"Gojika!" Naruto shouted aiming his sword as Neji was lit ablaze.
Many saw Neji scream in pain from being lit on fire.
"Yield and it ends!" Naruto yelled out.
Many watched Neji try to fight it, but ultimately he surrendered.
Naruto ended the spell "wanna know why you lost." he said looking to the downed ninja "it's because you weren't a true leaf shinobi, you looked down on your comrades your own teammate and family and you looked down on me, someone you don't even know." he said to him.
"And what do you know about me!" Neji said gasping in pain.
"I know that your father died for the main branch family of you clan." Naruto said shocking him "I did my research into why you were such a dick and that's no excuse, your father may have died for Hinata, but if you have grievences take it out on your uncle not people who had no control of the damn situation." he said walking away "I fight for my village, my friends, and the people closest to me, can you say the same Neji Hyuga?" he asked only getting silence "I will be Hokage and I'll abolish that cage bird seal, but if you harm my friends or try to laugh of their dreams and resolve remember how this fight went." he said walking away to the stands.
Neji was soon carried out feeling like a child being berated by an adult, what made it worse was the person who did it was younger than him.
(with Naruto)
"Did Sasuke show yet?" Naruto asked as they all shook their heads "dumbass." he said to himself.
"Let's go we're being called." Temari said to Shizuka as they both went down.
Shizuka didn't morph but did summon her ninja sword.
Temari was not an idiot fighting a fellow wind user as while her fan was better for wide range attacks and flight, it would not do so well against a sword with wind chakra as it was more focused that way, her only real option was distance.
"Any idea what sorta training she did?" Naruto asked Haku as she shook her head at him as they all kept their training secret from one another.

'What are you up to?' Zabuza thought as Shizuka was not direct in the type of training she wanted when she asked him certain swordsman questions 'elemental sword styles.' he thought as those styles were based on how to use one's element 'Temari is like a spin dancer all her twists and turns channeling her chakra through her body and to her fan increasing the force of the physical movement and the power of the wind she sent and made.' he thought as it was similar to dancing if one looked closely enough.
(with Shizuka)
"Would you like to know something interesting?" Shizuka asked her opponent as she held it out.
Temari didn't say anything but listened closely.
"Whenever I used chakra paper it often reacted poorly, but I soon learned it wasn't the paper despite the quality, it was me." Shizuka said as her sword began to hum "my chakra had a superior nature and it just clashed with my opposing one." she said grabbing her hilt with two hands.
"And what nature is that." Temari said in fear.
Shizuka smiled before she disappeared.
"Where'd she-!" Temari was saying before she screamed in pain.
Team Zabuza was in shock when they pieced it together 'she has lightning chakra?' they thought to themselves.
(with Zabuza)
'No wait, she's not using pure lightning.' Zabuza thought to himself as he looked at his student 'dual nature?' he thought as it was a rare skill not many shinobi could attempt as it was dangerously close to kekkai genkai, but often required something 'did she go to Asume?' he thought remembering the man had a jutsu that used wind and fire 'to focus it through her blade though the concentration.' he thought as he saw her hands 'that's it, she thought one hand how to focus wind and the other to focus her lighting diverting the flow and maintaining it.' he thought as that was pure genius on her part 'if I didn't know any better I'd have said she had genuine Storm release.' he thought as there were two variations lightning and water and then lightning and wind.

"Surrender now!" Shizuka said slashing her sword sending out a slash of wind with lighting.
Temari needed a new plan as she knew that the girl could use wind, but lightning was now a game changer as it allowed her to fight on the same distance level as her.
(with Naruto)
"That's odd." Naruto said to himself.
"What?" Haku asked him.
"The wind is circling the arena, both are putting out so much wind chakra it's circling them." Naruto said to them.
Haku looked around for signs and saw he was correct 'he felt that.' she thought as she felt Naruto had much deeper sensory abilities then he knew.
Gaara watched in interest seeing his sister and fellow ranger clash.
Both kunoichi clashed in a show of pure chakra clashing against one another.
'I've wasted to much chakra.' Shizuka thought to herself as Gaara would be her next opponent unless Shikimaru somehow beat the odds.
Temari hated that this girl was such an even match for her, she didn't like the fact she was on equal footing with her, it infuriated her.
"Sorry to cut this short, but I need to win no." Shizuka said as she sheathed her sword and unleashed a massive amount of chakra "let's do this Temari of the desert, your wind vs mine, let us see who is superior." she said challenging her seeing the glare she had "Gale Palm!" she said as Temari swung her fan with all her might.
There was an explosion within the stadium and a cloud formed.
Everyone waited and for the dust to settle and soon the victor was clear.
"Winner Shizuka Uzumaki." Genma said as many cheered.
"How'd she win?" Haku asked no one in particular as she thought both attacks seemed equal.
"She used the hawk blaster, it ignited the conflicting wind chakra and since Shizuka fired from her side the explosion went more outward from the clash." Naruto said to her as it was a stroke of pure genius.
"So she has wind and now lighting, and her blaster offers her fire." Haku said as that was impressive, she got a look from Shizuka that basically said she develop this for her 'ice is conductive and if that isn't enough the fire could melt it and the fact we both have wind doesn't help either of us.' she thought to herself.
(few minutes later)
Naruto saw Shikimaru forfeit after a few moves 'it was his only option.' he thought as Gaara had control of his sand even when possessed so that meant Shikimaru was a sitting duck still.
"Do I win now?" Haku said in the arena.
Genma looked at the crowd and then to the Hokage and just as he was about to announce Haku's win, he saw a familiar swirl of leaves.
Naruto smiled seeing his fellow ranger finally arrive, but he saw some strong distinctions from last time he saw him, his shirt was now black with a purple wolf on the back, his eyes while black had pigments of red in them, and on his shoulders were the symbol for navy and crimson thunder.
"About time you made it Kakashi." Genma said to him simply "Sasuke I hate to tell you this, but due to your tardiness for this special event, you have displayed qualities that aren't right for chunnin so even if you win and display the combative skills, you will not be promoted." he said to him.
Sasuke didn't like that very much, but understood in the end.
"Who do you think will win?" Shizuka asked Naruto curiously.
"Hard to tell, Haku's ice and snow give her an edge, but Sasuke has lightning as both a nature and a ability with his ranger powers if this was simple wind vs lightning, then Haku was the advantage." Naruto said as he momentarily forgot about her water to cancel out his fire 'Sasuke has his work cut out for him.' he thought as Haku had more experience as a ranger and was trained by Zabuza longer, giving her more experience then Sasuke.
"Begin." Genma said as both wasted no time.
(with Kakashi)
"About damn time you showed." Zabuza said to him "so what you teach him?" he asked curiously greeting a hand wave which resulted in him flipping off his fellow mask wearing ninja "you knew he was fighting Haku and I assume you had him try to learn his own ranger powers." he said as he remembered the rush job Sasuke had in the preliminaries with the thunder staff and lightning was Sasuke's best bet to counteract her mirrors.
"And I assume Haku trained herself to use other techniques aside from her ice." Kakashi said as he saw Haku using more water and given Zabuza was a water expert he assumed Sasuke would have a hard time using any fire techniques which was Sasuke's most used element.
(with Haku)
'He's not even trying to hard.' Haku thought finding that odd as Sasuke used fire whenever she used ice and when she used water he either countered with fire or switched to his hydro bow.
(with Naruto)
"Does he have any of the special disks?" Shizuka asked as she was wondering if Sasuke had any of the Samurai Ranger power discs.
"It's possible." Naruto said as he still had the dragon folding zord, but the belt Sasuke had like all Samurai rangers had the ability to summon discs to it.
"Wolf attack!" Sasuke yelled as two wolf heads shot out of his eyes.
"Using ranger abilities without the catalyst?" Shizuka said in confusion as Koragg needed a shield for that attack.
"His eyes are able to cast genjutsu, but to use them to use an actual attack is impressive all on it's own." Naruto said as it was similar to what he did with his magic and lion staffs making them into a pair of swords.
(with Sasuke)
'C'mon.' Sasuke thought as he kept firing more and more arrows at her.
'Why isn't he using the thunder powers?' Haku thought to herself as he was using the other ranger powers.
Genma was also analyzing the situation 'what's he thinking.' he thought knowing Sasuke had purpose in his shots, but what 'oh my god.' he thought feeling how soaked the ground was with his sandals 'she doesn't notice.' he thought a bit impressed by this strategy as if Sasuke didn't come late this would've gotten him some recognition.
Haku saw Sasuke stop using his bow and had it turned back into a spinsword and equipped a disc to it, but instead of using it, he stabbed it into the ground.
"Violet Thunder." Sasuke said as he transformed into into his unique thunder ranger armor and equipped the thunder staff.
Haku saw him break it and took out her senbon, but instead of actually using them he stabbed the broken halves on the sides of the already stabbed spinsword.
"Lightning style Thunderstorm blast!" Sasuke said as he spun the disc on the spinsword and lightning covered his hands and shocked the thunder staff pieces sending a massive shock across the soaked field shocking Haku.
Genma who was now on the wall was impressed 'must've been hard to keep dry.' he thought seeing Sasuke's sandals looked different guessing they were a more protected rubber version of shinobi sandals 'he soaked the entire field and had her help melting her ice and countering her water as best he could to make a conductive field for his blast to work, but what really sealed it was her chakra coming off her feet.' he thought as in the midst of combat pretty much every shinobi used chakra in their feet not only on water, but to speed up their movements 'Haku must've been so focused on the battle, she didn't realize how wet the ground was like I did.' he thought as when he was watching his senses weren't in combat mode to allow him to put out chakra like she and Sasuke were.
(with Zabuza)
"I can't believe she lost!" Zabuza said in pure anger.
"Believe it." Kakashi said using Naruto's signature line "Sasuke knew his lightning may not have been enough for Haku so he thought of ways to increase it and protect himself from backlash." he said as he had those shoes made for Sasuke as not even he could protect himself from such a wide spread outward blast.
Zabuza growled in anger, but couldn't deny the genius behind that strategy for someone like Haku.
(with Naruto)
"I can't believe he won." Naruto said in shock unable to believe Haku lost.
"Goes to show we need to step up if newbie ranger can keep up." Shizuka said as that was an impressive display.
(with the kages)
Hiruzen was impressed as a strategy like that was worthy of the Nara clan member as it was well thought out and well executed.
"Sasuke certainly seems impressive, he seems to use abilities similar to that boy, Naruto Uzumaki." the Kazekage said to Hiruzen.
"Yes Naruto has developed chakra armor, but it's unique and extremely difficult to make." Hiruzen said as that was the agreed upon story he had with Naruto "these are extremely difficult as it takes Uzumaki level skill with seals." he said to him.
Orochimaru was not pleased as while he did have an Uzumaki, her skills were more into the lines of healing rather than sealing.
(with Sasuke)
"I have to go again?" Sasuke asked in surprised that he was getting back to back matches.
"You were originally the second math all first round matches took place, this is the semi final matches now kid." Genma said as that was the situation.
(with Sakura)
Sakura watched the matches and felt like she didn't even meet the bare minimum of the level of power and skill all of them had.
"Alright this is gonna be awesome!" Kiba said as he bet on Naruto.
"I feel sorry for anyone who bet on Sasuke." Asuma said as he knew the odds, Naruto had to have recovered more chakra after his fight with Neji and Sasuke's match just happened and he used a lot of power on that last attack he could tell.
"Naruto's gonna win for sure." Hinata said as everyone was still surprised by her new look.
"Who would've thought Naruto would become so cool." Ino said as this was gonna be the most exciting match yet.
(with Naruto)
"Guess we can finally have our fight." Naruto said demorphed as was Sasuke.
"Yeah, how you wanna do this?" Sasuke asked ready as Naruto was.
"Let's get the warm up out of the way." Naruto said with a smile.
"Go go Samurai!" both of them yelled turning into their respective ranger forms and took out their spinswords and began to clash.
"You have any other discs on you, I'm packing tiger." Naruto said as he felt this one came to him because of his tiger spirit.
"Beetle disc." Sasuke said finding it a bit funny they got discs based on their other animal connected to their ranger forms.
Both of them equipped the discs and began to battle.

"What do those discs even do?" Gaara asked Shizuka.
"They increase the power of the ranger element, but it takes a lot of concentratin." Shizuka said as to her knowledge it took much concentration and understanding of ones element.
The arena was beginning to fill with steam from the clashes of Naruto's fire smasher deflecting Sasuke's water arrows

"I said warm up not sauna!" Naruto said to him "let's get serious!" he said calling out to Sasuke.
"Magical Source, Mystic Force!" both yelled.
(with Haku)
Haku's injuries were very light so she just needed a moments rest, but she arrived just in time to hear her ranger cry 'these two.' she thought as it was getting wild between them, she saw them clash steel with each other.
"This is the best match yet." Zabuza said as he loved elemental sword fighting as both were not disappointing "you alright?" he asked as she took a nasty shock.
"I'll be fine, what about them?" Haku asked seeing the violent clashings of fire and darkness.
"Both of them have had a rivalry going on so long it's like they were born into it." Kakashi said to her "this is more than just life or death, this is a matter of respect and pride neither can win or lose till they know they've tried their hardest to win." he said to her as it was a matter of pride for themselves and respect for the other.
(with Naruto)
"Ok Sasuke time to end this." Naruto said as his rival nodded.
"It's Mophin Time, Dragonzord!" Naruto yelled out his red dragon armor coming on.
"Thunder Storm Ranger Form, Violet Thunder!" Sasuke said his violet armor coming on as well.
Both stared at the other, Naruto's eyes glowing green and red the dragon and tyrannosaurus spirits wanting to do battle.

Orochimaru thought as he had seen much things and felt them as well, meeting jinchuriki and the like all over and this felt on par with that of jinchuriki 'what are you Naruto?' he thought knowing Naruto was the source of this after he saved Hinata.

Kakashi watched both of them run at each other most would think this was a battle of blood, but his students were just like that.

Tommy watched with glee feeling Naruto wields his power as if he were a dragon himself 'that fox better not do anything.' he thought to himself with a chuckle enjoying the fight, but didn't want Naruto's fight to have any disturbances.
(with Sasuke)
Sasuke was breathing heavily as he had his thunder staff turned into a thunder shield and had his combined blaster out, Naruto keeping pace with him using his dragon dagger to fire lightning at him and his power sword clashed against his shield the both of them were truly giving their all.
Naruto kept pushing, he kept going with unrelenting force.
Both locked eyes as they knew the end was close.
"Dragon Clash!/Thunder Blast!" Naruto said his dagger now glowing in a green flame, Sasuke's shield surging with lightning as Naruto struck it.
There was a violent multicolored explosion of red, green, navy, crimson, and violet.
Genma watched as the smoke cleared, both ninjas still standing, but as he watched he saw both their helmets cracking…before shattering and Sasuke's armor soon disappeared as well before he began to fall only for Naruto to catch him.
"Promise me something." Sasuke said as he looked into Naruto's eyes as his vision darkend "promise me you'll win this stupid tournament." he said succumbing to exhaustion.
"I promise, I swear on my life." Naruto said to him as medics came to get Sasuke "hey, I'm fighting one of you and I intend on winning." he said fully intent on regaining his chakra, he sat down against the wall where he sat alone as after this fight the winner and he would be the final competitors.

"I want you to win." the nine-tails said to him.
"Is this some kinda cheap joke?" Naruto asked him in all honesty.
"No you simpleton, I just couldn't bear the shame if MY host lost to that psychotic idiot brother of mine." the nine tails said to him.
"Fine, but I have a price." Naruto said as even in his exhaustion, he looked dead serious.
"What chakra fine." the nine tails said to him.
"No, I'll only use my chakra if he does as well." Naruto said as he looked at him "your name, I want it." he said to him.
"And what pray tell gives you the idea I have a name?" the nine tails asked him wondering how he came across this notion.
"Shukaku, that's the name of the one tail." Naruto said in a simple tone as he dropped to a knee "give me your name and I'll win." he said to him.
The nine tails was not much for threats, but his ego and pride were on the line so Naruto had him by the metaphorical balls, which was a feat no one could claim "fine, but I shall only say it once and if you tell anyone I shall murder you in your sleep, you think that sand spirit was bad to that sand brat, I take naps, I will give you migraines till you fucking die!" he said in fury, before he calmed himself and looked at Naruto "my name is Kurama." he said as Naruto smiled before fading out of the seal.

"Wake up!" Shizuka said loudly as she could as Naruto seemed to have fallen asleep "you're next." she said falling to her side "sorry…I couldn't do more." she said blacking out.
Naruto went to the rails and looked down to see Gaara waiting for him "I'm pretty tired, can we just go all out?" he asked seeing Gaara smile as even though he had become more human, he still had bloodlust.
"Let's go Naruto, you are the real person I wanted to fight, the only one who could fight me!" Gaara said as he morphed.
'I'm out of options.' Naruto thought knowing he was gonna be exhausted after this fight "Dino Thunder power up!" he said in his fusion dino ranger outfit "Super Dino mode!" he yelled out 'this form is my only option.' he thought to himself.
(with Kakashi)
"Think he can win?" Zabuza said not liking Naruto's odds.
"He's taken a lot of beatings." Kakashi said as there was no other way to put it as Naruto put out a lot of power in order for Neji to not even touch him, then his intense battle with Sasuke, while Gaara basically scared off Shikimaru, and Shizuka's match while short was impressive, as even Lee and Gai were amazed by her speed and power when she used her ninja sword oncce again channeling lighting and wind through it.
"I say his odds are about 50%." Zabuza said to him.
"Why so high?" Kakashi asked him as that seemed generous for him.
"Legendary mode and Super Dino mode are steps beneath battleizer, the fact that he activated it from the start shows that he knows he needs to give everything and not wait especially with that defense of Gaara's, plus the Dino ranger form has some advantages on it's own, like flight and super speed that is even faster than Lee's." Zabuza said to him.
Kakashi had to admit that was an impressive argument.
"Laser arrows!" Naruto said firing the arrows made of light to counter Gaara's sand shuriken and ran when he used the sand to catch him.
"Stay still!" Gaara said as he smashed his lion hammer down on the ground.
Everyone felt the tremor when he smashed it down.
'Shit!' Naruto thought having to stop and focus his chakra into his hands and feet as he fell to the ground and immediately pushed himself upward dodging another wave of Gaara's sand 'his element is earth, I need to take that out of the equation.' he thought to himself jumping upwards taking flight "can you follow?" he asked tauntingly as Gaara made a bed of sand at his feet and got on top floating above the ground "me and my big mouth." he said as Gaara gave chase.
Genma was impressed as these two were once in a generation having so much skill and potential and power.

"Never see many flying shinobi." Zabuza said as flight was the rarest of skills for shinobi and presented the most dangerous forms of combat.
"Gaara is very serious about using that hammer." Kakashi said as he saw Gaara as a pure ninjutsu specialist, but the way he was with that hammer was impressive.
"Sand for his long distance and when Naruto is close he uses the sword." Zabuza said to him as that was the gist.
They both watch the two fight in the air, but were shocked when Gaara actually caught Naruto.
"Sand coffin!" Gaara shouted as he encased Naruto in a ball of sand "lion's burrial!" he said making the hand signs for sand burial, but leaped from his sand bed and slammed his hammer onto the ball sending it crashing into the ground.

Naruto opened his eyes and found himself in what looked like a void.
"This is the bearer of the red and white ranger power, what a joke." a deep voice said.
Naruto looked and saw the white ranger.
"No, I'm not Trent Mercer, I'm the white ranger that died battling him." the evil ranger said to him "what a joke, you the one claiming that he'll win, I never liked Trent Mercer but I respected him as the true white ranger, look at you down and nearly defeated." he said scoffing in disgust.
"I'm tired, I've given it all I got." Naruto said to him.
"No you haven't!" the evil ranger said "you wear our armor, but until you win there is only one acceptable reason to defeat and that's death." he said as that was the choice all rangers good bad and evil knew and accepted "but you're still alive, so you have a choice, will you give up and stay on the ground or will you get back up and fight!" he said to him as this was Naruto's moment to show him what he could do.
Naruto groaned as he stood up and faced the ranger glaring at him as best he could.
"Good, now you look like someone worthy on my respect, now it's time for you to go back out there and face Gaara, show him the powers of Tyranno and Drago, roar with all your might!" the evil ranger said seeing Naruto ignite in fire.

The audience held it's breath as the saw the sand and there was much blood in it.
'Shit, is he dead?' Genma thought as this would not go over well.
Gaara landed nearby and approached the sand to the spot with the most blood on it and as he did he saw the sand move for a moment and before he knew it something bashed into his helmet breaking it as he looked up and saw Naruto, holding a bone shield, he saw it drain him of his power and become red and gold.
"Shield of triumph!" Naruto yelled as his body ignited "dino fire slash!" he yelled channeling all the power he had left into the blade and charged at Gaara.
Gaara saw his approach and the intent in his eyes, his sand barrier rose and despite that the bladed shield cut through his barrier and cut into his side and seeing the blood coming out of him put him in a state of shock.
"I win." Naruto said bashing his head against Gaara's.
Everyone watched the head bash seeing both of them bleed, but Gaara soon fell demorphing his armor as he was now unconscious.

"He wanted it more." the evil ranger's voice said to the dragon zord that was using Tommy's form
'That he did.' Tommy thought to himself as he intended to keep a close watch on Naruto as Orochimaru never attacked, and the most frightening thing about evil doers as he watched Tommy's life was that when they changed plans it meant two things, that they knew they couldn't win or that they wanted something more.
Author's Note-Hey everyone hope the new year is treating you good and hope you are all safe, wanted the chunin exams to take a new spin this time around and got creative with ways the rangers could use their abilities, hope you liked them, also a while ago someone said that I don't really talk much about what's happening on my server one can get through P-A-T-R-E-O-N, so I asked some people on my Discord server and I purposely left the names blank, but I asked them all unbiasedly for their honest opinions of both me and the server.
1-Okay well honestly working alongside you has been a fun experience they've been some moments when you do lag but I understand the ressons why as you have a life outside of fanfiction and that requires your attention most of all. Your a good person to have conversations with and has a great knowledge of Marvel and Dc lore. You creative with many ideas and able to put your own spin on a story. Working on you're server is good experience meeting new people, sharing ideas and making some good friends, and no matter what you do come through for your friends when they need you and stand up for them.
2-Well, I guess it seems enjoyable, and mostly just enter the brainstorming channel
I feel there is a bit of lack in space to talk, like pretty much the conversations get mixed and sometimes if someone wants to talk about something but no one is interested, it simply is ignored in favor of something else and it gets lost in the first place
Feel like kfbanime's ideas are the most discussed in the group, and though good, honestly I rarely read ideas from anyone else
3-Sure it's been great no problems at all I'm happy to be a part of the server it's always fun and it's a blast being here
4-Ah. I'm usually pretty quiet, so I haven't really said much there. ^^;; But I do like what I've seen and the people are rather friendly. And you're a cool guy as well. Sorry I'm not very active. I'm usually more focused on writing and trying to work through all my backlogs. .;;;;;;;
5-I love being on your server everybody's friendly, everybody's Great Well moderated keeps all the trolls out great people to talk to, and all
6-Well you give opinions where opinions lay regardless of anything and working with you is fun you know so much stuff and that knowledge is great at time

9-well the server itself is fine as it has designated areas for every possible concept of discussion. as for working with you on fics while you're not always available you're very easygoing when it comes to writing with meaning we can come up with plans pretty quickly.
10-I think you are pretty damn great you help people, listen to them, and support them, that's what makes you a real friend, and to top it off you help people with small problem, big problems, you just try help and be a friend, not many people are as open as you and that alone speaks volumes of you character, never change that about you
