Four months later.
Brittany walks into the house with Quinton after accompanying him to his soccer training and looks around with a frown. ''Why is it so silent around here mommy?'' Quinton asks cutely, She shrugs her shoulders and chuckles.
''No idea sweetheart, can you go and throw your training outfit into the washer?'' She walks into the living room after he ran off with a nod of her head and raises an eyebrow as she notices Nicolas sitting on the couch gaming on the big TV, she walks over to him tilting her head as he moves his gaming headset aside and glances at the game. ''Where is everyone sweetheart?''
Mami and Oli are playing outside, no idea where Ash is.''
She blinks as he replies curtly and just turns on her heels after kissing the back of his head, she walks through the kitchen grabbing two bottles of water out of the fridge and holds one out for Quinton as he jogs out of the washing room. ''Mami and Oli are outside.'' She informs him.
She follows him outside as he just sprints outside immediately and blinks in surprise as she notices Ashlynn cuddled up in Santana's arms. ''Hey love.'' She greets.
''Mommy!''
She crouches down as Oli runs over with a squeak and hugs him. ''Hey little love.'' She greets kissing his forehead, she chuckles as he runs back after kissing her cheek watching him climb up the slide with Quinton and walks over to her wife to peck her lips. ''What happened?'' She asks carefully as she sits down behind Ashlynn, she feels her immediately snuggle between them with a sniffle and locks eyes with Santana.
''Nic went typical teen.'' Santana murmurs. ''I came home with Oli and heard them discussing loudly so I broke them up, Nic immediately started the console and Ash joined me here.''
''What do you mean with typical teen?'' Brittany asks in confusion.
''They were home alone and Ash told him no.'' Santana murmurs, Brittany drops her head with a groan in no need for more explanation and sighs.
''Right.'' She breaths out. ''Will you or shall I?''
''Can you?''
She nods her head standing back up after kissing Ash's temple and leans over her to kiss Santana softly. ''Keep the boys out?'' She turns on her heels as she hums and walks back into the house, she walks through the kitchen sipping on her water and closes the sliding doors. ''Nic pause.'' She tells him as she enters the living room.
''Really mommy? This is an online match.'' He exclaims frowning.
''Pause or out.'' She tells him in a stern voice, she nods her head as he returns back to the home screen and drops down on the couch beside him. ''What happened?''
''Nothing.''
''Right so you're mami walked in on you and Ash discussing loudly without a reason?'' She sighs as he huffs and raises an eyebrow. ''What happened?'' She repeats.
''We finally had some time alone.'' Nicolas whines. ''And she fucking utters that she is not in the mood.''
Brittany rolls her eyes and sighs. ''And that is a reason to start a discussion?''
''Well ye…''
''No it isn't.'' She tells him firmly cutting him off. ''Why the hell are you mad that she said no Nic?''
''We were alone.''
''So?'' She asks with an eyebrow raised. ''You think you will never be alone after today?''
''Well no but we had the chance, so why not?'' He asks huffing. ''I thought in a relationship a girl always had to..''
''Hold up, who told you that shit?'' Brittany breaths out with her eyebrows raise in surprise.
''Dave and Michael.''
''Do they have girlfriends?''
''No only fun on party weekends.'' He whispers.
''See the difference?'' She asks. ''They only search for fun fucks, you have a god damn relationship Nicolas.'' She raises an eyebrow as he frowns and takes the controller out of his hand. ''Don't whine.'' She tells him as she closes his game after saving it. ''Since when is a relationship all about having to do something Nic?''
''Never but..''
''But nothing, do mami and I fight over shit like that?''
''Well no but you fight over other things.''
''And what was the last thing we fought about?''
''You had no time together because mami worked a lot and the twins were sick.'' Nicolas whispers. ''You only fought because the both of you were stressed.''
''Exactly, did we ever fight because I thought mami lacked on something in our relationship?'' She hums as he shakes his head and sighs. ''A relationship doesn't have tasks Nicolas, it's all about teamwork the second you have kids and it's all based on communication, trust and truth.''
''Mami and I need alone time too but do you think we do that every time?'' She chuckles as he frowns in disgust and pushes him. ''Rhetorical question you idiot, the answer is no though.'' She continues. ''Mami and I are more than happy to cuddle up, turn on a movie and talk throughout it until we fall asleep.''
''Mami and I retreat to our rooms whenever all of you went to bed and just spend our evenings talking Nic, as long as I have her in my arms I am the happiest person around.'' She adds as they lock eyes, she hums as he frowns sadly and sighs. ''I want you to listen to something, listen to the text and think about your actions because what you did was an I am sorry to say it but it was an asshole move Nic.''
''Ash has all rights to say no if she doesn't want to and you getting angry about that is just low.'' She turns to the TV as he just continues frowning and opens YouTube, she types in the song she is searching for and taps it. ''Listen.'' She tells him.
She puts on the song Try Losing Her, she watches the emotions on his face as he listens to the lyrics and raises an eyebrow as they lock eyes.
''I'm an asshole.'' Nicolas breaths out sliding down the couch in shame, She pats his leg as he covers his face with a groan and kisses his head.
''Want a tip?'' She locks eyes with him as he hums and winks. ''Take my blue card and kidnap her, it's Friday so the both of you can do your homework tomorrow just go out and enjoy it.''
''Think she will say yes?''
She holds up a finger and stands up pulling him with her, she leads him to the front door grabbing the bouquet of flowers she grabbed for her wife just because she can and holds it out for him. ''Give her these and go talk to her.''
''Where does these come from?'' Nicolas asks curiously.
''A just because bouquet for your mami, I will buy her new ones.'' Brittany murmurs. ''Go and fix Ash's mood sweetheart.'' She follows him to the backyard as he thanks her with a kiss on her cheek and leans against the door frame. ''Oli, QT bath time!''
She locks eyes with Santana chuckling as she just watches Nic in amusement as he slowly walks towards them and winks. ''Join us love?'' She watches her jump up with a nod of her head and smiles as the twins run over after hugging their big brother, she watches Santana walk over after she kisses Nic's cheek and looks down at their boys. ''Hot tub?''
She chuckles as they immediately nod their heads with excited grins and ruffles their hairs. ''Go change.'' She pecks Santana's lips as she joins her after they ran off and pulls her into the kitchen to give the teens a bit privacy. ''A bit relaxing before bathing the boys and cuddling on the couch?''
''Mami, mommy?''
They both turn to Nicolas as he calls them and smile as he walks over with his hand intertwined with Ash's while she sniffs the flowers. ''When do we have to be home?''
Brittany glances at the time as Santana just squeezes her hand and shrugs. ''Be home by twelve-thirty, you can continue your date here just don't walk around late at night and call Dev please.''
''We will, Gracias.''
They both watch them walk to the garage after they both kissed their cheeks and turn on their heels to also change into their bathing suits. ''Hey babe?'' Santana asks as they walk into their bedroom listening to the boys joke and giggle loudly after they told them that they will quickly change too, she turns to look at her as she hums catching the red bathing suit she throws in her direction and raises an eyebrow. ''Where did Nic get those flowers from?''
Brittany chuckles and takes off her shirt. ''Just because flowers turned into apology flowers, I will buy you new ones tomorrow.''
Santana shakes her head and laughs. ''I knew it, Nic would probably come home with roses again.'' She walks over to Brittany after they both changed and wraps her arms around her waist. ''And you know that you don't have to bring me flowers Britt-Britt.''
''I know but you still love it.'' Brittany murmurs as she kisses her softly, she runs her hand down her back and smiles. ''Ready to relax?'' She follows her out of the room after grabbing both of their bathrobes and jogs down the stairs.
She follows her wife into the shed chuckling as she watches their boys already relax in the tub and glances at the temperature, she ruffles QT's hair as he just looks up with a grin. ''Perfect temperature QT.'' She breaths out as she climbs into the hot tub knowing her wife is grabbing drinks for all of them and chuckles as both boys immediately swim over, she wraps her arms around them as they cuddle into their sides and kisses their heads.
''How was dance class Smiley?''
''So much fun, we learned a new dance!''
''Yeah?'' Brittany asks thanking Santana as she hands her a glass of white wine, she smiles as the boys take their juices with a grin after thanking their mami and kisses Oli's head. ''Can you show it to me tomorrow morning?''
''Si!''
Santana smiles lovingly as she watches their sons cuddle into their mommy and tilts her head. ''Any space for me left?''
''Si mami, right.'' Quinton pauses while pulling on his mommy's right leg and giggles. ''Here.'' He breaths out as Brittany understands his silent command and spreads her legs, Santana chuckles moving between Brittany's legs and leans back against her front.
She leans her head back against her strong shoulder and glances at QT after taking a sip of her wine. ''How was soccer training mijo?''
''Fun and we are ready for our match.'' Quinton replies grinning. ''San Diego won't know what will happen.''
Santana laughs ruffling his hair and winks. ''Well I can't wait to watch you kick butts, so ready for Saturday si?''
''Si!''
Brittany just smiles as she hears the excitement in Quinton's voice and lovingly runs her hand through Oli's hair as he cuddles into her side, she kisses his head as he sighs contently and snickers. ''You will sleep as soon as your head hits your pillow Smiley.''
She chuckles as he just hums and runs her hand up his arm listening to her wife and QT talking softly, she takes a sip of her wine as Oli's head lands on her chest and kisses his head. ''You want to head inside baby?''
''No mommy.'' Oli murmurs. ''Enjoying.''
Brittany just chuckles as Santana scoots off of her lap after shooting her a knowing grin and helps Oli slide onto her lap, she wraps her arms around him as he relaxes back against her and kisses the back of his head as he just hums contently as he cuddles into her hold.
She turns to her wife as she runs her hands up Oli's arms and smiles. ''How was shooting the meeting with Dionne babe?''
''Fun and she sends her love.'' Santana breaths out. ''We will have a meeting here next week, she wants to meet our familia.''
''When?''
''Saturday or Sunday?''
Brittany tilts her head thinking about their schedule and licks her lips. ''Sunday is better, Ash has her college tour Saturday.'' She smiles as she nods her head and wraps her arm around her shoulder as she takes Quinton's place after pulling him in her lap. ''Can you ask her if she has allergies or dislikes something? I will cook us dinner.''
''I will.'' Santana murmurs as she nuzzles her cheek against her shoulder, she looks down at their boys as she feels Quinton relax and chuckles. ''Bath tomorrow?''
''Yeah I don't think they will wake up.'' Brittany breaths out in amusement. ''Tug them in and relax a bit more?'' She stands up as she hums and climbs out of the tub with Oli in her arms, she slips on her bathrobe after placing him on the lounging chair and takes Quinton from her wife, she pecks her lips as she takes him from her again after she slipped on her bathrobe and picks Oli back up so they can both tug them in and return back downstairs to spend some much needed time together while the teens are still out and the kids are asleep.
