After all the protestations, the doubts about his own sexuality, his unwillingness to accept that Sherlock could or would ever love him in return, he has made an important discovery.

I decided to write a mini scene inspired by the Sherlock Holmes character Mrs. Hudson, imagining what a normal day would be like for her; this is what I came up with (nothing earth shattering here, I just thought it would be fun). These characters are not my original creations, nor do I own any rights to them (they are owned by owned by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and the BBC).

Set just before HLV. Molly is out on her hen night when an unwelcome surprise cuts the night short. Instead of quiet and peace, back at home she finds a moody uninvited guest. Hopefully, with her years of dealing with a snarky detective, what is the worst that can happen? Sherlolly pairing

John, although retired, offered himself to go on service to Afghanistan for some time. Sherlock misses him dearly, and they both write letters to each other, where they slowly realize what they feel for each other.

Coming back from a very nice evening out, Molly starts feeling cold and sleepy and Sherlock does his duty.
