Chapter 22: A New Generation? – Part 2

What a discovery for Karthaniel and Hatterene!

After they thought that history was made, a few visitors from the new Paldea region proved them wrong in a good way for once. As it turns out, marriage between human and pokémon has been done only once before way back in 2018 and offspring was made as a result as well. That information has proved that it all can be done a second time, but Karthaniel needed to know for sure from the man behind the historical event himself:

Thanks to those findings from Jacq and Rika, the newly married pokémon/human couple were ready to find all the answers in addition to them and they were also excited to meet Jaymes himself. With all that in mind, they along with those Paldean guests plus Master Mustard, Sonia, Klara, Wallace, Elegance, Diancie, Leon, and Hop had just arrived back at Wyndon Stadium to connect with the young ninja and have all of their questions answered.

By the time everyone had gathered before that fateful jumbotron within the stadium, they were gathered like it was an intervention while Leon and Rika worked together to get the connection. It took a very slow five minutes, but they were finally able to get a signal and they waited patiently for the famed young ninja to appear on the screen. What they saw for now was an empty living room that was massive enough for a condo. The anticipation was at its maximum level for everyone standing at the center of the battlefield, but despite this, they all remained calm. Karthaniel and Hatterene stood before everyone, but they were sure that Jaymes will still be able to see everyone else regardless. After three more silent minutes, Leon had to ask a curious question towards Rika as she used a remote to mute the microphone for a moment:

"Did you learn anything more about this from Jaymes prior to all of this?"

"I did ask him how he can equally love two mythical pokémon simultaneously like that." She replied in her expert tone. "All he told me is that it'll make more sense to us when it's time for us to call him, which is right now. He can explain it in full detail for all of us. He was in a hurry at the time and couldn't tell me then."

"What did his voice sound like?!" Nemona asked with a swooning drawl in her voice. The ground-type expert of Paldea's Elite Four chuckled the way it sounded and shook her head with humor before she continued.

"We'll all find out shortly. And I should also tell you all that he will have his two wives with him as well. Whether they'll have their dragon children with them is a mystery, though."

"Well!" Wallace came in with excitement. "Either way, we're all excited to see this man who made history for all of pokémon. Let's all try to stay as composed as possible." Right after that last word was said from the retired trainer, they all gave the jumbotron their attention as the Jaymes Totanuki had finally taken his seat upon the sofa and everyone was taken aback by his appearance.

He had his legendary Street Fighting kunoichi's famous ponytail, except it was golden brown, was shirtless to show off his famous black and purple dragon tattoos that aimed their deadly jaws at his chest, and his handsome smile with his one brown eye and one green eye was the most mesmerizing they've seen from a man of his caliber. Seconds later, Aria Harmony Form Meloetta and the anthropomorphized Diancie with hair instead of crystals upon her head took their seats with him on his left and right respectively. Only Rika was unphased by their appearances, but everyone else behind her were just astonished and speechless as she started the introduction with professionalism.

"Jaymes Thompson Totanuki. It's good to see you again. Before you meet everyone, what was the hurry last time we had a small chat?"

"There was an emergency at my family's animal hospital and Mother needed me and my brothers for some assistance." Jaymes replied in an extremely deep male voice that made some of the women within the meeting crowd sigh with admiration with hearts in their eyes. As promised, Rika and Geeta remained composed along with Hatterene, Elegance, Diancie, Ryme, and Tyme. "Everything's calm now and we can spend as much time we need with your group of friends there. You've already introduced me to your fellow Paldeans, but I have yet to meet those others."

"I was just getting to that." She paused as she turned towards everyone, even after all of the swooning women composed themselves. "These are the residents of Galar: Professor Sonia, Master Mustard, poison-type expert Klara, retired trainer Mr. Wallace Vector Hawthorn, former champion Leon and his litter brother, Hop, Elegance the shiny hatterene, and standing here are the famed couple I told you about: Current Galar Champion Sir Karthaniel Harrison Davis and his serene Silent Pokémon wife. They thought they had made history, but after Hatterene here became curious about the possibility of bringing in a new generation between her and her human husband, it all turned around for them and now, they demand answers."

"And they shall receive them. It's truly an honor to meet you all. These two are my lovely wives of the best first five years of my life so far: Aria Harmony Form Meloetta and Queen Diancie of the Diamond Domain. We're all an unstoppable force of a family and every criminal in town fears us whenever they rear their ugly heads."

"Heh, heh, I bet! Now, let's get down to the main topic at hand: Karthaniel and Hatterene have been wondering how all of this is done with two mythical pokémon as your lovers and how you were able to create offspring in the process. We already gave them some details from Mr. Jacq's research, but they wanna hear from you three personally for a more in-depth perspective."

"Humph! I see." That's when Rika humbly stepped aside and allowed the aforementioned couple to take center stage before the ninja and his two mythical wives. "First of all, congratulations on your marriage. Many things throughout your journey must've triggered your love for her. She does look as graceful as my wives. Never seen nor heard of a hatterene before until now and I must say that she looks impressive."

"Thank you so much, Sir Jaymes." Hatterene replied with sincerity. "And I can safely say the same thing about Meloetta and Diancie. Of course, we have a diancie of our own here, but seeing Meloetta for the first time is a thrilling experience so far. Did you meet her like this?"

"Believe it or not, yes. Our first meeting was a bit awkward."

"Genesect's threat was at large before I met him." Meloetta finally spoke for the first time in this meeting, hearing her heavenly voice of an angel. "I was in my normal Aria Form at the time and he nearly shot me down with his Techno Beam. The aftershocks triggered this appearance you see now, but after a deadly and hard-fought battle against him alongside Jaymes the Dragobsidian, we both used a new move called Psychedelic Rainbow upon him and it destroyed him, but not without knocking the Reveal Glass shards out of me as well."

"I had to reinsert all eight of them back into her because her former Aria Form was so low on energy, she was due to die if she were to use her powers one more time. It reverted her back to this form and it's now a permanent change that has to remain in order for her to stay alive."

"Genesect himself must've been extremely dangerous." Karthaniel pointed out after becoming intrigued by the story along with the others, who remained silent as Jaymes continued.

"He wasn't at the size of a kaiju, but he was still destroying Unova one town at a time while Meloetta was with me and my family. With assistance of nearly every single legendary and mythical pokémon, they were able to hold him long enough for all three of us to find our true calling and put a stop to his tyranny once and for all. Would you like to hear their names? We honor each and every one of them forever."

"Yes, please!" Everyone behind them said this as well with excitement, including Rika and Geeta. Jaymes chuckled as he pulled out a sheet of paper while Diancie did the honors of showing a picture of each and every one of them as he said their names by means of the computer's split screen slideshow.

"Alright. Pay attention now." He started before he read from the list: "Here they are as you see them:

It became deathly silent after that was said and Jaymes, Meloetta, and Diancie decided to take it all in for a moment to see everyone's faces that were full of awe and astonishment. They all have never seen any of these pokémon before and seeing their appearances as the young ninja read through them was a breathtaking moment for each and every one of them.

Five slow minutes of that silence later, Poppy raised her hand as if she was in class and Jaymes' handsome smile never ceased as he physically pointed to her and she stepped forward and around the astonished couple before she asked her question in her adorable voice of a seven-year-old:

"How come your first meeting with Meloetta was awkward? Ya forgot to tell us 'bout that."

"We sure did, Poppy." The young ninja chuckled as he said this, which made everyone regain their attention after being awestricken for a moment. "My family and I were hanging out at the mall within town and a janitor alerted us of Meloetta's presence within a dumpster. At first, we didn't know who she was by the time we saw her for the first time, but she looked human enough to be accepted into our arms."

"What happened was that I fled Unova in fear after that Techno Blast missed me and I ended up travelling through hyperspace towards that very same location, knocking me out in the process." Meloetta added. "I also didn't know about this change upon me until they allowed me to look at myself in a full body mirror."

"Here's the awkward part about that meeting, though: She was naked." Again, all of those previous women that swooned before now gasped with shock. Even Poppy joined in this time, covering her mouth with surprise with wide eyes. Karthaniel chuckled alongside Geeta and Rika while Hatterene shook her head with both humor towards that reaction and expectancy towards Jaymes and Meloetta's story. After thirty seconds, Arven had to ask with utter disbelief:

"And you didn't make a move on her?!"

"As a ninja, I sensed her as being in danger before everything else. Yes, Meloetta's Aria Harmony Form is heavenly to see, but when it came to her situation at the time and since saw the fear in her eyes, her safety came first. I began to admire her beauty after she got herself dressed and fell in love with her when I prevented her from proving that she wasn't worthy of defeating Genesect. It all happened within a week after meeting her."

"Wow! Incredible!"

"I'll have to agree on that." Karthaniel added. "So, Queen Diancie, when did you get join in the fray?"

"This may seem like another astonishing fact to you all, but I've actually known Jaymes since he and his brothers were born." Diancie replied in a beautiful echoing voice of a royal angel, shocking everyone except Rika once more. "As soon as his Life Diamond formed before me, I knew that I was the one to enter into his life in due time. I've been using it to assist him in maintaining his easily hot-tempered nature during his teenage years. Many people have heard of him being dubbed as 'The True Son of Ibuki' and those very same people became skeptics about it. Every time they approached him about that factor, he would be so close to releasing his anger to a very violent extent, but I was able to use that Life Diamond to tame him before he got too far."

"As strong as you are, you look like you would most likely kill those who protested your skills of a ninja."

"I didn't have this much muscle at the time, but it was fairly close." Jaymes admitted. "I really did need Diancie to help me with my emotions. My Mother had to represent me in court once after I got a little too violent and Diancie couldn't help me."

"His strength was too strong and it was because of the spirit of the Dragobsidian within his soul." The Diamond Domain Queen confessed. "It couldn't be awakened at the time because he lacked the necessities to make it so, but it was still quite the challenge."

"So, you knew it was her the whole time?" Hatterene dared to ask with bewilderment as she still held Sir Davis close to her for comfort. Jaymes nodded twice as his response and everyone nodded once in return with understanding and with respectful smiles. "Your ninja skills never cease to amaze us."

"Of course, I couldn't share that exact information to anyone, not even my family." Jaymes confessed. "They would all think that I had become delusional along with the occasional temper tantrums, but seeing that light brown healing aura around me every time I was about to burst was a positive sign that I was healing from within. They dubbed it as my own power source and I made them believe that all these years until I confessed this at our wedding. Even Diancie wasn't fazed by that."

"I was elated to hear that from him that day." Diancie added with glee. "He knew all those years that I was watching him and became a very patient man until our meeting finally came to be. Now that first meeting definitely topped Meloetta's by a mile. I was already destined to be his second bride and just his appearance alone made me feel like a brand new pokémon, especially after our first kiss."

"Awww!" All of the women sighed softly before Karthaniel became strict in his one blue eye and one brown eye and asked with authority:

"Now that we've learned everything, how about your children?"

"Yes!" Jacq came in with agreement. "How about them? From what I found, you all somehow created them between two mythical pokémon and, as developer of the Pokédex App in Paldea, I find it hard to believe."

"Heh! I suppose we should finally get down to the main topic at hand." Jaymes replied before he whistled like he was calling for a taxi. Five seconds later, the two famed dragons finally appeared before them and everyone was amazed at their appearances. "Everyone, meet Crescendo and Dymond."

Again, it became deathly silent on their end as the two dragons were making their calm purring sounds of contentment as they looked back at them with tilted heads of curiosity. Each of their appearances were just stunning to see:

Crescendo's body was as silver as a pure titanium steel blade that you could see your reflection off of, all four of his legs as pure white as his Meloetta's skin, has solid blue eyes that match that of an aquamarine gemstone, and a very verdant green mane that flows on its own, even as he was very still in midair next to his twin brother.

Speaking of him, Dymond lacks the hair, but he has a pair of solid, but extremely flexible diamond pink tendrils that look like they could cause unsurpassed amounts of damage, especially since they were now at the length of four feet. His body is gray like the granite Diancie is made of with three small pure genuine pink diamonds embedded into each of his front legs, two medium sized ones on each of his rear legs, four more medium ones on each side of his body, and the same exact permanent royal collar made of pure gold around the bottom of his neck with one big crystal in the middle. This biggest highlight of all on him is his eyes: They muster the same anomalous eye scheme as his father, except his left eye is brown with the same bright blue in the pupil as Meloetta's eyes and his right eye is pink with a bright green pupil!

All in all, the Totanuki Dragon Twins were an incredible sight for everyone to see and Rika had to ask, since this was her first time meeting them as well:

"What the hell does the Dragobsidian look like, then?"

"Since it's too small in here for me to transform into it myself, Diancie has a picture of it." Jaymes replied with honesty as she did so, shocking everyone once more. Here's what they saw within the image:

A golden brown 20 foot long dragon-like creature at a body width of five feet, a heavy tail that was half his length, 4 limbs that were covered in fiery orange fur at a length of 8 feet each with every one of them having a set of four of the most intimidating set of golden claws they've has ever seen!

His mane was a colorful a set of five ten foot long fuzzy strands that were at a width of two feet along with his three famous bangs colored in baby blue, blood red, and gray from his left to right respectively.

Lastly, they saw that the eyes were in the nearly identical color scheme as his human form with the right one being brown and the left one being green, but they had yellow lizard-like pupils in the center of them with black sclera instead of the usual white.

Jacq became the most intrigued as he stepped forward for a better look as he readjusted his glasses for a better view by the time he stood at Rika's left side.

"You transform into this?!" He asked with astonishment on behalf of everyone who were just stunned and speechless. Jaymes nodded twice with confidence with his two wives simultaneously with regal smiles of expectancy. "And you say it's a mega pokémon?"

"According to Xerneas, it's been extinct for millions of years until now." Jaymes replied. "On its own, it was in a seemingly never-ending war with a kaiju-sized pokémon that was similar in appearance with the Reveal Glass-infected Genesect. The good news is that that war was eventually won, but not without the region it lived in becoming extinct."

"The Valor Region…" Geeta, Rika, and Jacq said breathlessly in unison by accident before the Paldean Champion continued alone: "…there were other pokémon that existed back then, but those two were like the legendary pokémon of their time. It was like the others didn't even matter."

"Exactly." Jaymes agreed. "Now that I'm the new permanent host of this psychedelic dragon, it can finally relive its glory days within the modern era we all live in today. Thanks to me and my two wives, it's become the most docile version of itself and doesn't even try to harm truly good humans. Same goes for my twin dragon sons here."

"Incredible!"

"So, now that finally brings us to the main question: How can the creation of these children be possible?" Jacq asked in a demanding tone for Karthaniel and Hatterene, who remained silent and fully observant. "Every pokémon expert, young or old, knows that mythical and legendary pokémon cannot make eggs."

"But in this case, this was an exception that only an almighty entity like Arceus and myself can make due to how severely dangerous Jaymes and Meloetta's journey was prior to meeting me. "What did he have to do?" Karthaniel asked.
