"That was...unexpected. But It felt so right" Willow said as they made their way back to the house a few hours later. "It felt right for me too Wills" Matt replied as he put his arm around her, as his cell vibrated. "Ames is asking if i can drop by your place to pick up your stuff. Nevaeh isnt feeling well. Will you be ok on your own for an hour or so? I can go pick up food if you like" he asked as they entered the house. "I'll be ok Matt. Might just take a bath while youre gone" she replied as Matt asked, "What do you feel like eating?" "I feel like being bad. Pik n Pig sound good?" Willow replied as Matt nodded. "That sounds perfect. I'll pick your stuff up and then go pick up the food. Do you want me to get your cell too?" he asked as Willow nodded. "Take keys incase im still in the bath when you get back" she said as she headed upstairs and Matt heading out of the door.
"Hey how is she?" Elly asked as Matt entered Willows place. "Shes not good. Shes a mess, shes so hurt by him but at the same time relieved. Wills just needs time to figure stuff out" Matt replied, partly lying about Willows state of mind, telling them about the events of the previous night. "Oh Jesus. I thought she was over the self harming. Hes pushed her so far back" Brooke said as Christian added "hes an asshole. She couldnt get out of that place quick enough yesterday" "I thought she was bad enough after Victor and all the shit he put her through, but Haytham is twisted on a whole other level. He lied to her from the start" Matt said as he picked up the bag. "Are you heading straight back home or are you off elsewhere?" Elly asked as Matt replied "Pik n Pig. Im going to see if she'll try and eat something tonight. Hopefully she'll open up a little bit too" "I hope so. Think she'll be up for visitors anytime soon? We all love her" Becky asked as Matt shrugged her shoulders. "I'll drop you all a text when shes feeling up to visits. I gotta go" he said as he headed out of the house, leaving the others wondering just what was going on with Willow and Matt.
My life is a fucking mess Willow thought to herself as she ran the hot water, stripping out of her training gear. Im supposed to be married to Hayth, yet here i am back living with Matt after he... she thought stepping into the water. He lied to me from the start. How did i not see the signs? He gaslit me, abused me and blamed it on sex. Im an idiot, a stupid stupid idiot she thought, feeling tears stinging her eyes. Then this afternoon with Matt. He wanted to wait a few days then he kisses me? And we fuck in the ring like we used to? Hes right, my head is all over the place. But at the same time, after this afternoon all i want and need is to be with him, she thought as she heard a noise outside "It'll just be Matt" she said quietly to herself, submerging herself in the hot water. As she surfaced, she froze as she heard the two voices arguing outside. Haytham was here and he was arguing with Matt.
As Matt pulled up to the gate of the Hardy compound, he noticed another car on the driveway, the gate wide open. Haytham at the door calling out for Willow. "Haytham? What are you doing here?" Matt asked as he got out of the car as Haytham spun around to face him. "Im looking for Willow, i know shes here" he said as Matt shook his head. "Shes not here Haytham. No one knows where she is" he lied, hoping to scare him away. "She has to be here Matt. Shes not at her place, or any of the places we used to go. I just need to talk to her" "Haytham im telling you SHES NOT HERE!" Matt yelled as he added "How would she have got here? Her car isnt here, she had no money for a taxi from Ravenhearst. So once again im telling you, shes not here" "I guess youre right. I just love her so much and i just want to make it right with her. I still want to marry her" Haytham said as Matt shook his head. "You are unfuckingbelievable. Why on earth would Wills ever consider marrying you after the shit you pulled? Just get off my property before i call the cops, who are out looking for you by the way" Matt said angrily. "The best thing you can do for Wills, is leave her alone, wherever she is" he added as Haytham sighed. "If she comes back, ask her to call me please" "Dont count on it Haytham" Matt said as he grabbed the takeout bag, watching as Haytham drove off before heading into the house.
Matt headed up to the bathroom and knocked on the door. "Wills, you still in there?" he asked as he heard the door unlock. "Has he...has he gone?" Willow asked quietly as Matt nodded. "You heard that? Im sorry Wills, you shouldnt be having to see or hear from him" he replied as Willow left the bathroom wrapped in a towel. "Wills, for now, wear some of my stuff. I didnt want to risk him seeing your bag in the car. Food is downstairs when youre ready" "I'll be down soon, will you plate me up some food?" she said as he nodded, heading downstairs. Willow joined Matt in the kitchen ten minutes later, wearing his hoodie and shorts. "You always did look good in my clothing" Matt said as he passed her a plate of food. "Thanks Matt. For this, for dealing with him. I really dont deserve this after the shit i put you through with him" Willow said quietly as Matt put his arms around her. "And you dont deserve the shit he pulled on you. You are so much better then him" he said as Willow smiled weakly at him. "I think... i think i need a restraining order against him. I dont want anything from him anymore but he wont stop. Hes like Victor" she said as she took a bite of her food. "Tomorrow, we're going to call Laura see if she can give us any advice as to what to do. But now, we'll eat and relax..." "Try and figure us out?" Willow interrupted as Matt nodded as they spent the rest of the meal flirting with each other.
"Matt ive been thinking, i kind of want to meet the wives. I owe them a huge thanks" Willow said as she leaned into Matt on the sofa as they started to watch a movie. "Im not one hundred percent on it, but i think its just something i need to do. For all of us" she added as Matt said "Its your choice Wills, but you know i'll support you whatever you choose" "Thank you Matt for the last two days. I dont know how id have made it without you" Willow said as Matt kissed her forehead. "But do you know what id really like to do tomorrow?" she asked as Matt replied "Tell me. Anything you want Wills, i'll make happen" "Can we not be us tomorrow? Can we be mom and dad instead?" Willow asked as Matt nodded. "Of course we can. Shall i get Adam to drop the girls off in the morning?" he asked as Willow nodded. "I guess i have to try and explain that Haytham is no longer coming around. Rubes wont understand but Jas will" "Want to tell them together?" Matt asked as Willow nodded, leaning into him some more, shivering as she got close to him. "This just feels so right Matt, but at the same time im just..." "Confused? I get it Wills. You liked Haytham alot, you cared for him and now youre hurting" he said as Willow let out a sigh. "You always did just get me" she said as she looked at him before kissing him. "Can we make us official next week? I dont want to hide us anymore" she asked as Matt replied "are you sure Wills? You dont think people will think we're rushing into this?" "Im sure Matt. Ive been thinking about it for a while. Even before the whole shambles of a wedding" she said as she yawned. "Why dont you go on up to bed Wills? You were tossing and turning a lot last night" Matt suggested as Willow placed her head on his lap. "I'll be ok for a little while longer. Besides, when was the last time we had a house to ourselves?" she replied as he put his arms around her as they settled on the sofa.
"Hey Wills, wake up. Girls will be here in thirty minutes" Matt said as Willow groaned. "What time is it Matt? And how long was i out?" she asked as she opened her eyes. "Almost ten thirty and pretty much as soon as we came upstairs last night. So almost twelve hours" he replied as she sighed. "These last few days have really killed me off. I need to focus on the positives. Being with you and the girls is my future, what do you say to that?" Willow said as Matt kissed her. "That sounds perfect to me" he replied as Willow kissed him. "Im going to go take a shower, meet you in the kitchen in twenty?" she said as Matt nodded. "I'll grab your stuff from the car, do you want a coffee or tea making?" he asked as Willow smiled at him and replied "Coffee sounds amazing right now. Thanks Matt, for everything" before getting out of bed and heading into the bathroom, as Matt watched from the bed. Im the luckiest man on the planet. I dont deserve any more chances with her, but here she is, sleeping naked in my bed, giving me yet another chance. Im NOT going to fuck this up he thought as he heard Willow calling from the bathroom "Well, are you coming in Matt?"
"Are you making a start on lunch already? You know the girls will be here soon and they'll run riot" Matt said as he stood behind Willow in the kitchen, wrapping his arms around her. "I know Matt, i just want to make sure that we're well prepped for the day. I guess im just nervous about telling them what happened. Plus im hungry too" she replied as she leaned into him. "Hey look at me. Youre their mom, the girls love you regardless. I love you" he said as Willow turned to face him, sitting on the kitchen counter wrapping her legs around him. "I love you too Matt, im so lucky to have found you again" she replied as they kissed, not hearing the door open. "You guys are busted again!" Adam said as he walked into the kitchen. "Does this mean that you two are..." he asked as Matt shook his head. "We're working on us" he said as Adam saw straight through the lie. "Ive known you both a long time, you two are back. I can tell" he said as Willow sighed "Might as well tell him Matt. Yeah we're in the early days of being back. But you cant tell anyone, not yet" she said as Adam nodded. "They wont hear anything from me. But im happy for you guys, you especially Wills after the year youve had" he said as Willow walked over and hugged him. "Thanks Ads, youve been amazing. Ever since Paris youve kept our secret. Give us a few days to work things out and we're telling everyone" she said as Adam nodded. "The girls are waiting for you in the living area. You look so much happier today than the day of the wedding" he said as Willow went off to see her two daughters, where the two men immediatley heard Jasmine squealing with delight at seeing her mom. "Theyre so happy to have her back" Matt said as Adam nodded "And im guessing you are too? I mean you both looked incredibly happy there" "Of course i am. I just hate what he put her through. We're not rushing into things, taking things slowly. One day at a time" Matt replied as Ruby came crawling into the kitchen. "Hey Rubes, lets go back through to momma. Shes missed you and Jas" Matt said as he picked her up. "Im going to head off Matt. Take over from Ames looking after Nevaeh. Want me to give her an update on Wills?" Adam asked as Matt said "Just tell her that shes doing better and she'll call in a few days" as the two men separated and headed in different directions.
"Momma, wheres Hayfam?" Jasmine asked as Matt entered the room with Ruby. "Come sit next to me Jas. Haytham isnt coming round anymore. Hes a bad man who lied to me, to us from the start" Willow replied as Matt also sat next to her. "Did he hurt you momma?" Jasmine asked as Willow nodded. "He did, he broke my heart Jas but do you know what? Im so happy because i have you and Ruby and your dad here with me. Youre all i want and need in this world. Haytham is gone, for good" "Does this mean you and dada are together?" Jasmine asked as Willow giggled. "Well Wills, what do you say? Are we..." Matt asked, already knowing the answer as Willow kissed him. "Ewwwww and yaaaaay!" Jasmine squealed excitedly. "Jas, this is just between us four for now ok. Mom and i, we're still working alot of stuff out" Matt said as Jasmine flung herself around them. "IM SO HAAAAAAAAAAPPYYYYYYY!" She said loudly as she began dancing round the living room. "How did we end up with such a crazy child?" Willow asked as Ruby climbed onto her for a cuddle. "Honestly, no idea. But i wouldnt change this moment for anything" Matt replied as he kissed her forehead. "Neither would i Matt, neither would i" she replied, leaning back into him. She wouldnt admit it, but to her this was home.
The week was flying by and before they knew it, it was the thirteenth. Willows emotions were still acting like a rollercoaster, but the stability with Matt made her determined to make things work with him. "Hey Wills, do you want to get away today? Go to the beach house for a few days?" Matt asked as Willow emerged from the bathroom, after throwing up for the fourth time. "Id love to Matt, but i really dont feel good" she replied as she climbed back into bed as it was still early. "Im calling Beth in the morning, see if she can fit me in for a check up today" she added as Matt put his arms around her. "Im hoping its just a bug Matt but i cant help but think, what if its the cancer coming back?" she said quietly as he kissed her forehead. "It'll be a bug Wills. But if, and its a huge if, it is the cancer then we fight together" he replied as she placed her head on his shoulder. "Why dont you have a lie in, i'll take the girls to the park for a few hours give you some peace and quiet" Matt suggested as Willow nodded. "That would be really good. I love you" she said as she closed her eyes.
Willow awoke hours later, the nausea still hitting her badly. She got out of bed and ran to the bathroom where she threw up again. What the fuck is wrong with me? Where is this coming from? she thought as she flushed the toilet, feeling a sharp, stabbing pain in her abdomen. Im going to take a bath, see if that helps she thought, as she turned on the hot water. Im so grateful to Matt for taking the girls out this morning. I needed this time on my own she thought, stepping into the water. She must have drifted off into another sleep as she suddenly bolted upright, the water turned had turned stone cold and had a pinkish tinge. The pain in her abdomen getting stronger. Willow almost passed out getting out of the bath, feeling really dizzy. I need to eat something before i do black out she decided as she headed back to the bedroom, dressing quickly. Picking up her cell to check the time, almost 3pm. How long have i been out? Is Matt back with the girls? she thought as she made her way to the top of the stairs, where she felt the pain again. Only this time, she wasnt quick enough to grab onto anything and passed out falling down the stairs.
