Matt and Willow spent the next four days recouperating and spending time together with Ever. Jasmine and Ruby joined them after two days and were immediatley enamoured with their new sibling. It was day five, Willow was dressing Ever as everyone was finally coming to see her since the wedding. "Its been five days Ever, ive slept a grand total of ten hours. Im a mess, im exhausted but you and your sisters make it all worth it" she said as Matt crept into the room and put his arms around her. "Youre always beautiful to me" he whispered as she giggled. "Even though im a mess right now?" "You were always beautiful. Still are" he replied as he kissed her. "Everyone will be here in thirty minutes. Do you want to be downstairs with Evie when they arrive or do you want me to announce your arrival?" he asked as Willow sighed. "I'll hide downstairs. It's going to be easier that way" she replied as she asked "Mind if i take a quick shower Matt? I just feel so dirty right now" "No need to ask Wills. I'll take Ever down make it easier while shes still asleep" he replied as Willow smiled. "Do you want a coffee or wait for everyone to arrive?" "Coffee sounds so good right now, but i'll wait. Im more nervous telling everyone about us now than i was when we first got together" Willow said as Matt kissed her "Theres no need to be nervous. They want you to be happy Wills. For us to be happy" he replied as Willow sighed. "It'll be good Wills. No matter what, im not leaving. Not this time" "I guess everything has just happened so fast. Especially this past week. Give me ten minutes, fifteen max and ill be down" she said as she headed into the bathroom.
"Anyone know why we're here?" Trish asked as she, Jeff, Amy and Adam all arrived at Willows place. "Its been over a week since...you know" Amy replied, adding "Maybe shes just ready to see us all now" "Ive missed her. She wasnt right in the run up to the wedding. Something was bothering her" Jeff said as they knocked on the door. "Hey guys come on in. Brooke, Chris, Elly and Phil are skyping in in five minutes" Matt said as he opened the door and let them in. "Wills is just in the kitchen on the phone to officer Steninger. Something to do with Victor and Haytham" he said as they all sat on the sofas. "Matt, whats going on? Tell us" Amy asked as Matt replied "in good time Ames" as the skype began to ring. "Hey guys, everyone here?" Brooke asked as she and Christian came into view. "Just waiting on Elly and Phil" Trish said as the skype rang again as Elly and Phil joined in from Chicago. "Now everyone is here. I'm just going to go check on Wills, see if she is done and then we'll be in" Matt said as he hurried off to the kitchen. Returning a few minutes later, followed by Willow, carrying Ever.
"So i know youre all wondering why we called you here. Theres someone i, sorry we, want you all to meet. This is Ever Valentina. Born at two fourteen am, fourteenth Feb" Willow said as she showed off her newborn. "Wait, you had another? You kept that a secret Wills" Jeff said as Willow shook her head. "I didnt know Jeff. I had zero symptoms, it wasnt until a few days ago when i was feeling awful did i find out. Thats when i was in labor" Willow replied as Elly said "Wait... nine months ago was your birthday. Who...who were you sleeping with then?" "It started out as one night. One night turned into two. Then a week past, month. Seven months passed by and i was actually happy, yet struggling with all the secrecy. I met Hayth, so we broke it off until two weeks before the wedding. Id started having doubts long before that, but this past week has just cemented everything for me" Willow said cryptically as she walked over to Matt and sat next to him. "I love you" she said as he put his arms around her as the familys jaws dropped. "You two? I KNEW IT!" Jeff exclaimed. "Are you serious? You two are back together?" Amy asked as Willow nodded. "Its killed us for the last year not telling you. But now with Ever and being a family of five, it just felt right" she said as everyone was smiling. "Bout time you two figured shit out" Phil said as Matt and Willow smiled at each other. "So you guys arent mad we didnt tell you?" Willow asked as they all shook their heads. "We kinda figured there was something. We just didnt expect it to have been going on for a year with another baby!" Amy said as Willow walked over and passed Ever to her. "She is your double Matt, but absolutely gorgeous" Amy said as Willow sat next to Matt, who kissed her. "You both look happy. Wills, you looks so much happier than you did last week" Trish said as Willow gave a contented sigh. "I really am. Being with Matt, the girls, having Ever. Its all just feels so right" "No one else knows. We're not putting out ant statements. We're also telling dad this afternoon" Matt said as Willow leaned into him, finally feeling content.
"So let me get this straight. You two have been sneaking around for almost a year, finally got back together and given me yet another granddaughter?" Gilbert asked that afternoon as he added "Im elated for you both" as Matt passed Ever over to Gilbert. "Whats her name?" he asked as Matt replied "Ever. After both our Grandmothers being Everlyn and Everly" "I love it. Shes perfect" Gil said as Ever cuddled into his arms. "Are you going to be living together again or will you be staying in Vass?" he asked as Willow replied "im going to move back in with Matt. We're going to repaint the bedroom and set up Evers nursery but im keeping the house in Vass so if Elly or Brooke come up, they can stay there" as she tried to hide a yawn. "Are you ok Wills?" Gil asked as Willow nodded "Just tired. Between Ever waking ever few hours, Ruby not sleeping again and Jas's nightmares, ive barely slept the last few nights" she replied as Gil was about to ask a question, but Willow caught him out. "Matts been helpful. Hes been getting up too dealing with Jas" she said, yawning again. "Why dont you go take a nap upstairs? Dad and i can watch the girls for an hour" Matt said as Gilbert added "Spare room is already made up. Go and rest up" "Wake me when Ever needs feeding. Should be in about an hour, ninety minutes tops" she said as she headed upstairs.
"Is Willow really ok Matt? She looked a little pale" Gil asked as Matt nodded. "Shes just tired dad. This entire week has been a blur to be honest" he replied. "Wills was supposed to be married to Haytham, we had no idea on Ever. I thought id lost her dad" "I must admit i was surprised to hear about you both. Surprised but happy" Gil said "and this one is the cherry on the cake. But youve never said what happened last week" "She really is, isnt she. The best surprise" Matt replied as Ruby came over for cuddles. "I wasnt going to go last week. It wasnt until Adam called and said she was having major doubts that i went. Good job i did because when i got there, Wills was running out of that place faster than Usain Bolt" he said as Ruby cuddled deeper. "She was in floods of tears, she pretty much begged me to get her away and we drove back in silence. It was only when we got back did she tell me everything. Haytham is related to Victor. His middle name is Dalimar, not only that but hes already married. To four women" "FOUR? And related to that monster? Thank God you went Matt. I'd dread to think what he'd have done when Ever was born" Gilbert said as Ever began to stir in his arms. "So do i dad. Haytham was apparently starting to get a temper and abusive towards Wills. He turned up at the hospital the other day, trying to get her to give him another chance" Matt replied. "We dont know how he found out she was in there, Dr Britt has launched an investigation" "As she damn well should. I know i told you not to go looking for Willow last year and im sorry. I was wrong" Gilbert said. "Its been a hell of a year. From us reconnecting, sneaking around, other relationships. We always found each other. I think for the first time in a long time we're both in a good place and we're both happy" Matt said as Ever began to cry. "And that is diaper change and feeding time" he added as Gil handed his newest granddaughter to Matt, who headed upstairs to wake Willow.
"It was so good of Mom and Adam to take the girls out tonight. I think we need tonight to recover from the past five days" Willow said as she gently bathed Ever as Matt wrapped his arms around her. "Amys right, we do make gorgeous babies" he said as Willow giggled, "we do love making mini Matts. But what i said at the hospital during labor. Ever will be the last" she said as Matt kissed her neck. "Your body, your choice Wills. Im happy with my girls" he said as Willow picked up Ever. "Why dont we go put her to bed, you can relax with a hot bath and i'll make dinner?" Matt said as Willow replied "sounds really good Matt" she said as they headed upstairs. Willow placed Ever in her crib as Matt ran a hot bubble bath for his now new girlfriend. Willow walked into the bathroom a few minutes later, naked as Matt admired her scarred body."I love you so much Wills. Since we met almost ten years ago, youve been through so much, yet havent changed. Youre the same beautiful, intelligent, talented woman i fell for all those years ago." he said as Willow blushed "Now with added scars, three daughters and mental problems. But im finally where im supposed to be" she replied as she kissed him before stepping in the bath. "Can we talk over dinner? Theres just a few bits we need to figure out" she said as Matt nodded as he headed downstairs ready to make a start on dinner.
Matt was in Willows kitchen preparing dinner when the gate buzzer went off. "Hello its Vince. Am i ok to come up and speak with Willow?" "Hey Vince, come on up" Matt replied as he opened the gate followed by a knock on the door a few minutes later. As Matt opened it, Vince said "Hello Matt, is Willow about? I would really like to speak with her if its a suitable time." "Come on in Vince. Wills is just upstairs, i'll go grab her" Matt replied as he rushed upstairs, returning with Willow and Ever a few minutes later. "Hi Vince, is everything ok? Can you take her Matt? Shes just woke and wont settle" Willow said as Matt took Ever. "I just wanted to come check up on you after last weeks wedding" Vince said before asking "Who is this little cutie?" as Willow smiled as sighed. "This is Ever. She was a surprise who arrived on Valentines day" she said as she and Vince took a seat. "Im doing so much better than last week. I should never have agreed to marry Haytham in the first place" Willow said before continuing "he never cared about me. I was just a trophy to him. The one person whos actually cared for me, who has dropped everything for me multiple times. He was there and got me away from that place" "and now..." Vince asked as Matt joined them with a now awake, but settled Ever. "Now, we're taking things one day at a time" Matt replied as Vince worked out their secret. "Youre back together? Since when?" he said as he added "I mean, im so happy and thrilled for you both" "Its a long story but we started sleeping together at my birthday and just got stronger day after day. Haytham was a spanner in our reunion" Willow said as Matt kissed her. "Does having Ever mean you cant do Mania Willow?" Vince asked as Willow shook her head. "I'll be there Vince. Im not letting Becky or the girls down" she replied as Vince said "About the team. We have to replace Saraya. Shes injured her neck and we're not risking losing her" "whos replacing her?" Willow asked as Vince replied "Shayna. Im guessing you havent told the world about you two" "We havent. We'd like to keep it that way until at least Mania. We havent even put out a statement about Ever" Willow said as Vince stood up to leave. "They wont be hearing anything from me. You both look happier than you have done in a while" "I am Vince. Im getting back into the studio next week to finish the album too" she said as Vince said "Before i go, there is one more thing. Congratulations Willow, youre going into the hall of fame this year. If you accept of course" he said as he hugged Willow. "Are you serious? The hall of fame?" she asked as Vince nodded. "Thats so unbelieveable, i accept" she replied as Vince left the house, driving off into the dark night.
Elly, Phil, Christian and Brooke turned up the day after they announced that they were back together and to meet Ever. "I cant believe you kept this from us" Brooke said as she cuddled Ever. "I knew something was going on at the Wedding but never expected this" Elly added as she cradled her own bump. "A wise man once told us 'you cant help who you fall for' and we fell for each other all over again" Matt said as he sipped on his coffee. "You guys kept it secret for almost a year. Did you ever plan on telling us?" Phil asked as Willow nodded. "We were going to tell you at Christmas, but then he who will never be mentioned again happened" she replied. "Have you heard from...him..." Brooke asked tentatively as as Willow sighed. "He turned up at the hospital when i was in labor. It was early on so he doesnt know about Evie" "Evie?" Phil asked as Matt explained "Ever Valentina is E V. So shes got Evie as a nickname" "Its cute. I cant wait to have Philip Michael Brooks here" Elly replied as Willow smiled. "You finally have a name. I love how youve got dad in there too" she said as Elly moved next to her sister. "I hope your not mad i used Mikes name. I know you had planned to use it in some way if you ever had a boy" she said as Willow shook her head. "I love El. Im not mad, i would never be mad at you for that. Besides, we're not having anymore kids. Evie is the last" "Famous last words Wills" Christian joked as Willow smiled as the group spent the remainder of the days catching up.
