Bella - BPOV

I love being a vampire, I dreamt about it so many times but it is even better than I imagined. After months of pain and suffering, I finally have what I always wanted, a man that loves me with all his heart and that sees me as his equal. I can't even describe what I feel for him. I love him more than anything in his world. He is my life now and he will be mine for eternity.

I look in the bathroom mirror and gently stroke the mating mark on my neck. I smile when I think of the moment Demetri placed it there. It was the first time a man made love to me and it was perfect in every way. He showed me how much he desired me and how much he loved me, without treating me like a porcelain doll.

Over the next few days, I almost lost count of how many times he showed me heaven as he worshipped every inch of my body. I've never felt more beautiful. It's a good thing I don't sleep anymore or I would think this is all a dream.

I step out of the bathroom and get dressed in a beautiful black dress and my Volturi cloak. It's the same color as Demetri's, clearly stating that we're mates. I quickly put my hair in a high ponytail, that way my mating mark is clearly visible. Demetri is still very possessive of me and I noticed that it calms him when he can see his mark on me. I totally get it, because yesterday I almost took some female guard's head off when she touch Demetri's arm. God, the sex after that incident was phenomenal.

Demetri - DPOV

I walk into our room to get Bella because Aro wants to speak with her in his study. I went to see Aro because Bella's control is incredible and she seems to have no trouble in close contact with humans. Aro was more than thrilled, but couldn't explain why Bella was such a controlled newborn. It makes our lives a lot more pleasant though, seeing we can hunt outside and go out when we feel like it. My mate is truly one of a kind.

I find my Bella in our bedroom, she's fixing her hair and her cloak, making sure my mating mark is visible for other male vampires. God, I love her so much and she's mine, just like I'm hers. I chuckle when I think back at what happened yesterday.

We were walking back to our room after our hunt in a neighboring town. Heidi walked up to us, reminding me of my training session with Felix and she touched my arm when she turned to leave. Bella almost lost it, her eyes turned pitch-black and she lunged at Heidi with a loud growl. I was quick enough to intercept her and pinned her against the wall with my body.

Bella kept growling 'mine' and tried vigorously to get free. I felt like a complete ass at the time, but Bella's actions were turning me on like hell. I'd never been so hard in my life. I started kissing her mark and very slowly her growls turned into moans. I carried her into our room and kicked the door shut. I pressed her back up against the door and ground my member against her wet center. God, I love how responsive she is. My Bella is perfect in every way.

I loosened my hold on her, without realizing and that was enough for Bella to get me onto the floor. She ripped my pants and boxers off and undressed herself in a blink of the eye. She looked me in the eyes when she straddled me while taking my member inside her in one swift motion. She road me like the perfect cowgirl, while chanting 'mine' the entire time. I never saw anything so sexy, and I never came so hard in my entire life, then I did right then when Bella's orgasm hit her, and she marked me as hers again. Needless to say, I marked her again too. "Cara mia, you look gorgeous. Are you ready? Aro wants to speak with you."

Bella - BPOV

There he is, my Greek god, I jump into his arms and kiss him passionately. He chuckles and spins me around while saying:

"Come on, you little vixen, or we end up doing something else than speaking with Aro."

I pout at him, which makes him throw me over his shoulder. He carries me into the hallway.

"That isn't going to work this time, Bella. I love how insatiable you are, but you can't let Aro waiting."

"Okay, okay, put me down! I can walk, you know. I've got legs."

"I know, tesoro, a very lovely pair if I may say so."

I see him licking his lips when he puts me down and I swat his head playfully. And he calls me insatiable, yeah right. We reach Aro's study and Demetri knocks on the door, before entering. Aro is sitting behind a massive desk and looks up as we enter.

"My dear Bella, I must say vampirism suits you; I understand why Demetri has kept you hidden away the past few days. You look stunning. Would you do me the honor and let me read your mind? Demetri, calm down, I'm not going to hurt Bella and I've got my hands full with Sulpicia."

I kiss Demetri before walking over to Aro, but I can still see him scowling. Aro rolls his eyes at him and takes my hand. He opens his eyes and smiles brightly.

"Simply marvelous, I still can't read your thoughts, Bella. It seems that you're gifted. I need to call Eleazar, he needs to come and determine the nature of your gift. You can go now. I will send someone for you when Eleazar arrives. Demetri, I expect that you start with training Bella for combat tomorrow. I want her to be able to defend herself. She's a Volturi now. You're dismissed."

Demetri - DPOV

God, I need to start thinking with my head again, instead of with my dick. The moment Aro mentions combat training, all I can see in my head are images of Bella in a tank top and shorts. I can see Bella glancing at my crotch and I know that she's on to me. That woman can read me like an open book. I still don't know what I ever did to deserve her.

We leave Aro's study and Bella sighs. I look at her questioningly and she says:

"I need new clothes; I don't have anything to train in. I love the dresses that you ordered for me, but I can't go running around the training room in a dress. I hate shopping!"

I chuckle at her words. This must be the first woman I've met in my whole existence that hates shopping. I love that she is not mainstream and her strong personality has me hooked. I must be the luckiest man on this planet. I know just the way to solve the shopping problem.

Bella - BPOV

I really don't want to spend the entire day shopping for clothes. I hope Demetri has a quick way of getting me the clothes I need. Demetri leads me to the garage and we get into a black sports car. He speeds out of the garage and heads for Florence.

"I meant it when I said that I hate shopping. So why are you taking me to Florence?"

He chuckles and takes my hand in his, before saying:

"If you can find the will to buy the necessary clothes, I will let you spend all the money you want, in Florence's largest bookstore."

"So you're bribing me?"

"No, I call it: pleasing my mate. I will do anything to make you happy, cara mia, and I know that you're missing your books, so let me buy them for you."

"I'm going to wake up soon and find out that this is all a dream. You're too good to be true."

Demetri - DPOV

I laugh at Bella's last remark and kiss her hand. I park the car and we make quick work of buying the necessary clothes. Bella picks out simple clothes that are easy to combine and I let her. I get the feeling that her previous shopping partners were pushier than I am. I do ask her to try on the crimson red dress that I spotted in the window.

"You'll know exactly when to wear it, trust me."

She looks at me hesitantly but takes it with her to the dressing room. I would love to take her out on a special date later this week and this dress would be perfect for the occasion. I wait while Bella tries everything on and we manage to find everything she needs within the hour. I see that she's also taking the red dress home and I give her a quick kiss on the head.

Bella - BPOV

The crimson red dress that Demetri chose is absolutely stunning. I try it on and it fits perfectly. I can't wait to see Demetri's face when he sees me wearing it for the first time. I quickly try on all the rest of the clothes and lingerie that I picked out and everything seems to fit nicely. Perfect, we'll be out of this store in no time.

I put all the clothes on the counter and I can see Demetri smile when he spots the red dress. He is so handsome when he smiles. He picks up the bags and walks with me to the bookstore. I gasp when I see how large it is. He kisses me and says:

"I need to run out for a quick errand, amore mio, but I think it's safe to say that you'll be in here for a while. No?"

I pull him close and kiss him passionately. This man is a god, my god.

"I love you so much, Demi."

"I love you too, my Bella. I'll be back before you know it."

Demetri - DPOV

I make my way to the jeweler and pick up the ring that I ordered yesterday. It was a spontaneous decision but when I saw the ring online, I just knew it was perfect for Bella. The band had an intricate Greek design and the gemstone on top was a crimson ruby that matches Bella's eyes beautifully and I realized right then that I want Bella to be my wife.

When I return to the bookstore, I find Bella in the English section with a large stack of books on the floor next to her. She puts another book on top and spots me. Her smile is so bright, it lights up the room. I sit down in one of the chairs and watch my mate while she floats around the store, adding book after book to her stack. After an hour she walks over to me and sits down on my lap. She nuzzles my mark and gives me a sweet kiss, before saying:

"Thank you so much for this; I didn't even realize how much I missed my books until I got here. I'm afraid I got a bit carried away, but you said I could…"

I interrupt her explanation with a kiss on her lips.

"I'll do anything to make you happy, Bella. Come on; let's pay for all this and then we can go home."

Alice - APOV

It's been four days since I last had a clear vision of Bella, but I wasn't worried. The visions I had so far, showed me that I made the right decision when I left her in Volterra. The only one that still disagrees is Edward. I just don't understand why he can't see how happy Bella is in my visions. I never saw her that happy when she was with Edward.

Jasper and I are running through the forest because Edward was driving us mad with his constant pacing in front of the house. We reach the clearing when I'm overcome by another vision. I see Bella in a beautiful red dress; she is standing on a terrace while looking out over the Tuscan hills. Music starts playing and Demetri walks up to her. He asks her to dance and when she turns around to do so, I notice her crimson red eyes. The music stops and Demetri drops down on one knee. I gasp in surprise and the vision ends.

Jasper is looking at me and sends me a mixture of happiness and love.

"What did you see, Alice? It made you so happy."

"Bella is a vampire and Demetri is going to propose! Oh my god, I was right, she looks so happy, Jasper! He loves her so much; I could see it in his eyes. We can't let Edward know this; he can't ruin this for her."

Jasper nods in agreement.

"He won't hear it from me, darlin'."

Edward - EPOV

I keep pacing up and down the front lawn while waiting for Carlisle to return from the hospital. He had refused to call Aro right away and I've been waiting for two weeks now. This morning he finally promised to call Aro the moment he gets home. I know my pacing is driving everyone up the walls, but I couldn't care less. I'm still furious at all of them for believing Alice over me.

I stop when I finally hear Carlisle's car coming up the driveway, and wait for him to get out of the car. He looks at me and nods. We make our way to his study and he takes out his cellphone to call Aro. He doesn't have to put it on speaker, because I'm close enough to hear everything that is said.

"Ah, my dear Carlisle, I was wondering when you were going to call!"

"I see you know me well enough, Aro, to know that I would check up on our dear Bella. How is she doing?"

"She has such a refreshing personality, Carlisle. It's a pleasure to have her as a member of our coven. I wish that you could see how she has Demetri wrapped around her little finger. That boy would do anything for her. Isn't love simply beautiful?"

"Yes, Aro, it truly is beautiful."

I growl in anger and throw my chair across the room. It crashes against one of Carlisle's bookcases with a large bang. Bella isn't in love with that monster; she is in love with me and she sure as hell isn't a Volturi. I can hear Carlisle telling me in his mind to get a grip.

"I hear that Edward doesn't quite agree with you."

"Indeed, he still has trouble accepting the fact that Bella is mated to someone else, but we will help him through this. Would it be possible for me to visit you soon, Aro? I wish to speak to you and your brothers about the punishment."

"Of course, Carlisle, I'll let Gianna call you to set up an appointment. It's probably best that we discuss this in private. You know I miss having you here. Edward reminded me of you, only you are less angry."

I walk out of the study; I don't need to hear the friendly chitchat between Carlisle and Aro. It is a good thing that Aro is allowing Carlisle to visit Volterra. That way Carlisle can check on Bella and make sure that she's still my sweet and innocent Bella.
