Bella - BPOV

Combat training is hell. We've been training for days and I'm finally getting the hang of it. Demetri is constantly pushing me to my limits and I feel like yelling at him for being a complete jerk. But I know that here in the training room, he's not just my mate. No, he is the head of the guard and he wants me to be at my best. He wants to know that I will be alright in a fight and I love him for that, even though I would give a lot of money to kick his ass.

"Focus, Bella!"

I sigh and look straight at him. I start stalking toward him; my face is clearly showing how angry I am. He smiles, which only angers me more.

"Good, anger is an emotion we can work with. Channel it, use the energy and try to take me down."

Demetri - DPOV

Bella is a quick study, she mastered the moves very quickly but she lacks the drive to win a fight. I need her to stop thinking about how she might hurt me. So my new plan of attack is: getting her raging mad. I hope that in her anger she'll simply kick my ass for being an absolute jerk. Let's just hope she'll still let me make it up to her in the shower.

"Good, anger is an emotion we can work with. Channel it, use the energy and try to take me down."

Bella growls and runs toward me. I suspect her to charge straight at me, but she surprises me by sliding at me and swiping my legs from under me. I fall on the floor and roll away before she can pin my down. I get back up to my feet and signal her to come at me again.

"That's it, tesoro. Again!"

Bella – BPOV

I growl and run toward him, he tries to sidestep me but I've seen him do that move over a dozen times now, so I see right through it. I kick his legs from under him and successfully pin him down to the floor. I lean in and put my teeth in his neck. My voice still sounds angry when I hiss:

"You're dead, Mr. Volturi."

I look up when I hear laughter and clapping, and see Alec, Jane and Felix standing on the far side of the training room. I get up and make my way toward them while ignoring Demetri. I'm not really that mad at him but he doesn't need to know that yet.

In the corner of my eye, I can see Demetri standing up and looking at me with a distraught look in his eyes. Alec is still smiling like an idiot and says:

"Well done, Bella! Not many people can surprise Demetri like that. You can come on a mission with me anytime."

I smile at Alec's praise and turn to share it with Demetri, only to see him staring at the floor. He looks so lost and sad.

Demetri - DPOV

Okay, Bella is really mad at me. I pushed her too hard and now she's so angry that she's ignoring me. How am I going to make this up to her? I see her walking over to Jane, Alec, and Felix, and I try to figure out what to do.

I hate it that Alec is smiling at her. She did great, her progress this week was phenomenal, and I should be the one complimenting her, not someone else. Alec's praise has Bella smiling and I feel lost. I need some space to figure this out.

I turn to leave the training room when someone stops me by hugging me from behind. I take a deep breath and smell my Bella.

"Hey handsome, where are you going?"

"I was going to give you some space; I thought you were angry with me for pushing you too hard."

Bella - BPOV

He is so adorable. It's probably the last thing people will come up with when they have to describe my Demetri, but he is so utterly adorable when it comes to us. This whole mating thing is new for both of us and we both don't want to let the other one down. I turn him around and kiss him passionately, before saying:

"I am a little angry with you, Demetri Volturi, but I can come up with other ways to make it up to me than giving me space. Take me to our room, Demi, and show me how sorry you truly are."

His eyes turn pitch-black and he picks me up, before running to our quarters. Thank god for vampire speed.

Demetri - DPOV

My Bella is an angel, I don't deserve her, but I'm never giving her up. I love her so much. I carry her straight into the bathroom and turn on the shower. Bella is ripping my clothes off while I'm ripping hers. I pick her up and she wraps her legs around my hips. I can smell how aroused she is and it has me wanting her even more.

"Start apologizing, mister. I want to feel that you mean it with every thrust."

"Yes, my lady, with pleasure."

I slide my member straight into her delicious wetness and start driving into her fast and hard. Bella arches her back and grips my hair. Her moans alone are almost enough to make me cum.

"Oh god, Demi… harder… show me!"

I take his face in between my hands and kiss him long and hard. This man is like a drug to me, I'll never get enough of him.

Demetri wraps me in a towel and carries me to the bedroom. We lay down on the bed and I ask Demetri about the training. He says my progress this week was phenomenal and I can see in his eyes how proud he is. Suddenly he takes my hands in his and says:

"Can I take you out for a real date, tesoro?"

Demetri - DPOV

I can't wait any longer. I want to take Bella out and ask her to marry me. I've got the whole evening planned to perfection. Bella hugs me and says:

"I would love to go on a date with you, Demi."

"Perfect, do you think you can be ready in an hour?"

"You're lucky I'm not like other women, who need three hours or more to get ready."

She slaps my head playfully and makes her way to the bathroom to get ready. I smile and make a few calls to ensure the evening goes as I planned it, before putting on my suit. I hope Bella wears the red dress we bought in Florence last week.

I'm standing in our living room and look outside the window. The sun will set in a few hours and it looks like the night sky will be clear, even the weather is on my side so it seems. I hear Bella entering the living room and turn around. I'm completely speechless when I look at her. She is wearing the red dress I suggested in Florence and she looks gorgeous in it. It complements her in every way.

"Bella, you take my breath away. You're so beautiful."

"You're looking very handsome yourself, Demetri. You should wear a suit more often."

I smile and offer her my arm. Together we walk to the garage and take my sports car.

"Where are we going, Demi?"

"You'll see, cara mia. It's not far. You don't like surprises very much, do you?"

"It's not the surprise part; I just don't like to be the center of attention."

"Don't worry, Bella, it will be just you and me tonight."

Bella - BPOV

Just the two of us, I like the sound of that. I relax in the passenger seat and look outside at the beautiful Italian countryside. I've never seen a country more beautiful than this, I really love it here. Demetri pulls into a long driveway, flanked by cypresses, and drives up to a gorgeous Tuscan villa. He parks the car and speeds over to my side to open my door.

I take his hand and step out of the car. I can't help but marvel at the beauty of the villa and the surrounding olive groves and vineyard. It's sheer perfection. Whoever owns this place is one lucky person. I would love to live in a place like this. Demetri starts to lead me into the house. He shows me the living room and then leads me out onto the terrace. The view from there is breathtaking.

"Oh my god, Demi, how did you find this place? It's absolutely gorgeous. I envy the person that owns this place so much. I would love to live here."

"I'm thrilled that you feel that way, tesoro. I bought this villa many years ago, I have people that take care of it for me, but I always hoped that I could move here someday with the woman I love. Now that I have you, that dream might come true. I had it renamed last week; it's now called 'Villa Bella', after the only woman I will ever love."

I must be smiling like a crazy person but I can't help it. I pull Demetri close and kiss him lovingly. After the kiss, we just stay in each other's arms looking at the beautiful Tuscan hills for a while. Then Demetri kisses the top of my head and walks inside while telling me to stay put. I stand there on the terrace and dream of living here with my Demi. I'm so happy I could burst.

Suddenly I hear music playing and Demetri walks back onto the terrace. I turn to him and can see the love in his eyes when he says:

"You're a vision of beauty, my Bella. You are a goddess, you're my Aphrodite. Dance with me?"

He sticks out his hand and I put my hand in his. He pulls me closer and we start to dance. Demetri is an excellent dancer and with him leading me, I'm able to dance without stepping on his toes. When the music stops, Demetri takes a step back and takes my left hand in his, before dropping down on one knee and presenting me with the most beautiful ring I've ever seen in my entire life. He looks up into my eyes and says:

"Bella, I can't imagine my life without you in it. You are my one true love and I belong to you, mind, body, and soul. You are my home and I will love you for eternity. Would you do me the honor of becoming my wife? Please, marry me, Bella."

Demetri - DPOV

It feels like an eternity, while I sit there on one knee waiting for her answer. In reality, it's only two seconds before Bella drops down on her knees next to me, venom tears visible in the corners of her eyes, and says:

"I love you so much, Demi. I would be honored to be your wife."

I pull her against me and kiss her passionately, before sliding the ring on her finger. It fits perfectly like it was made just for her.

"Do you like the ring, tesoro?"

"I've never seen a ring more beautiful than this one, Demi. I love it. It's perfect."

"You're perfect, my Bella. A devil, like me, doesn't deserve an angel like you."

"Stop that! You're not a devil, you're my mate and I love every part of you. You may have done cruel and ruthless things in the past, but you did that to survive. You needed to do those things to live, to get to me so that we can be together for eternity and I love you for that."

I kiss her passionately and pick her up, bridal style. I carry her inside the house and up to the bedroom. I'm going to show my gorgeous fiancée how much I love her and I can already tell she's more than ready for it.

Bella - BPOV

Thank god, the closest neighbors are more than a mile away. I lost count of how many times I screamed Demetri's name last night. This man is pure heaven and he is all mine, my future husband. I look out of the window and instantly know where and when I want to get married. I try to move out of bed, but Demetri pulls me back in.

"Where do you think you're going, cara mia?"

"I was thinking about our wedding and I figured out where and when I want to become Mrs. Demetri Volturi."

"Please tell me, Mrs. soon-to-be Demetri Volturi. I'll make it happen, anything for you, cara mia."

"Well, you know I hate being the center of attention, so I want a small ceremony, just our coven and I would love to get married here, in the gardens of our future home. I also don't want to wait too long. Is two weeks enough time to organize it, what do you think?"

"As I said, I will do anything for you, my Bella. If you make sure you find your wedding dress, I'll take care of all the rest."

"You're too good to be true."

"I know, now come back to bed, tesoro. We have to leave for Volterra soon and I want to hear you scream my name some more before we go."

Carlisle - CPOV

My phone call with Aro was quite amicable and I'm finding it harder and harder to believe Edward's side of this story. Part of me hates to think of our sweet Bella as the mate of Demetri, but the other part knows that if they truly are mates, they will complete each other perfectly. So who are we to intervene?

I'm also quite certain that Alice knows more than she's telling us. Probably to keep Edward from completely freaking out, but I wish she would tell me so that I can act accordingly. I made an appointment with Gianna and I'll be flying to Italy in five weeks to speak with Aro personally. I hope that he will let me see Bella.

I'm pulled out of my thoughts by the sound of the television in the living room. There's another report on the missing persons in Seattle. It's starting to worry me. It looks more and more like the work of a vampire every day. I walk into the living room and call the boys downstairs.

"I think it's time for us to check out the disappearances in Seattle. I've got a feeling that a vampire is causing trouble there and we need to handle it before the Volturi find out, we don't want to anger them any more than we already have. We'll be leaving tonight."

Alice - APOV

I run into the forest after Carlisle decides to go to Seattle, it's sure to trigger a few visions and I don't want Edward to see them. I might let something slip unknowingly and I don't want to jeopardize Bella's happiness. I can hear someone following me, but soon realize it's Jasper. I wait for him at the waterfall and that's when the visions start.

The first vision is of Carlisle and the boys in Seattle. I see them overlooking a warehouse where countless newborns are wreaking havoc. Oh no, that can't be good. Who would do such a thing?

The second vision shows me Demetri. He's standing next to Alec and Aro, and he's wearing a midnight blue tuxedo. Then I see Bella walking toward him in a gorgeous wedding dress. Wait a minute; is that a Vera Wang wedding dress? Way to go, Bella! Demetri is looking at Bella like she's the most beautiful woman on earth and I must agree. Bella looks stunning and is truly in love.

I come out of the vision and Jasper looks worried and happy at the same time. I tell him about the visions and we decide that it's best to tell Carlisle about the newborns. We're still keeping the visions about Bella to ourselves. There's no way I'm going to let Edward interfere with this wonderful love story. Sorry, brother.

Edward - EPOV

Five weeks! Carlisle has to wait five weeks until he can visit Bella in Volterra. I can't believe he agreed to that. Doesn't he realize how much can happen in five weeks? If that monster harms my Bella in any way, I'll have his head.

Alice has been avoiding me the last few weeks and I can't blame her. I've been a real pain in the ass, but she has to understand how worried I am. I miss seeing her visions and even though I don't want to see any of Bella and Demetri, they would let me know that Bella is still alive and doing okay.

Maybe I should apologize and ask her if she knows anything. I walk out of my room to find her when Carlisle calls me and my brothers to the living room. The situation in Seattle is getting out of hand and we're going to look into it tonight. I nod and turn around to find Alice, but she isn't home. Don't tell me she's on one of her shopping trips again; I'm dying for news from my Bella.
