They stood outside looking up. The building was large, larger than their middle school, but, was friendly. As friendly looking as a school building could be. Susan looked at Margaret and shrugged. Both of the girls stepped forward with opposing feet. Susan with her right foot and Margaret with her left as if they were mirror images of each other. As they walked into the school building, Susan looked over at Margaret,

"So, where to?",asked Susan.

The twins had some roles that they both played out regularly. Margaret was the "organized" one. Margaret looked at her planner to see what their first class is going to be. As Margaret was looking down at the schedule, the pupils of her eyes slowly had gotten smaller. She couldn't what she saw. All her worst fears were right there on that schedule. Susan had seen the change in her sister's face. She quickly had become concerned for Margaret,

"Margaret, what is it?",asked Susan.

Susan sensed confusion in Margaret's face. What was wrong with Margaret? Margaret had turned and looked at her sister. Margaret looked worried.

"What is it?",asked Susan.

"We both have different classes.",said Margaret.

So, that was it. The age old question had been thrown at them again. "Did they need to be together", had been thrust at them since the beginning of their school careers. Sometimes the teachers had been supportive, saying there was no harm in them being together. Then, other years, teachers and principals had felt it would harm their development as individuals. Susan and Margaret felt being twins meant they would always stick together. Being that Margaret and Susan both have different first period of classes, it became clear that this school was going to make things difficult for the both of them.

It wasn't until the bell had rung that their unspoken connection was broken, and they had to get to their classes,

"So..see you then?",asked Susan.

"I guess.. see you too.",said Margaret.

The both of them had went in. different directions to their classes for their first period.
