Monday went about as well as any Monday went these days. Hermione and Ginny attended yet another society tea, collecting information for the Order. They heard from Millicent that Crabbe Senior was looking for a match for his Heir. Ginny and Hermione joined the girls in giggling about that, trying to picture who the unlucky girl would be.

"They tried to contract him with Astoria," Daphne whispered, conspiratorially. "Obviously Mother and Father wouldn't go for that. The Crabbes aren't nearly wealthy enough to see past their rather unfortunate connections."

"Mum said they started sniffing around me," Millie added, "but fortunately Mum being a halfblood has disqualified me from the mix, with their political beliefs and all."

"You'd better keep awares, Pans," Daphne teased. "Unless they contract with someone older or younger…"

"I suppose we'll just have to see what happens then, won't we," Hermione said with a chuckle. "Your brother isn't very popular," she added, turning to Ginny.

Ginny scoffed, "Some brother he is! He hardly comes to visit Mum and he barely gives me the time of day."

That evening, Hermione lay on the couch in the library with her feet in Draco's lap. Both were reading a book and enjoying the quiet time. Gertie popped into the room a bit after 9, saying, "Master is being home and is having souvenirs! You just be coming now!"

Hermione threw her legs off of Draco's lap and went to stand, finding that the pain in her abdomen was more intense than it had been the day before. Draco stood and with a smirk helped her stand from her seat.

They made their way to the Floo Parlour quickly, Hermione guessing what he could have brought them. "Darling," Draco said before they entered, "let me fix you up a bit." She allowed him a moment to adjust the clip that was holding back half of her braids and rubbed the makeup that had dropped under his eyes.

When he'd fluttered over her for longer than she liked she huffed and pulled away. "I'm fine, Draco," she said, annoyed, opening the door while she looked behind herself at him. "It's just Theo, not the Queen. He's seen me in all states of undress!"

She saw Draco's cheeks flush and heard Theo clearing his throat, so she turned to look at him. In front of her stood Theo, Bill, and Kingsley.

Behind them stood Jean and Richard Granger, looking at her quite tentatively. She let out a gasp and felt her knees buckle and the world went black before she could utter a single word.

"-can't believe you'd spring it on her like that! It was reckless, Theodore!" she heard Draco shouting as she came to. "She's bloody pregnant!

"I kn-" Theo started, in a small voice that Hermione had never heard from him before.

"I don't think you do know!" Draco continued to shout, "I allowed you to go on this errand because she's been so sad and I couldn't leave because of m-"

"ALLOWED?" Theo said in a cold voice, "You didn't allow me to do anything. We've both been worried sick about her and you know that we can protect them in my house."

"Oh ho ho," Draco scoffed, "Your house? What happened to 'What's mine is yours, amor,' hm?"

Theo growled, but Hermione let out a noise before they could continue. "Are you alright?" Theo said, hovering over her where she lay on the couch.

"What's going on?" she asked.

"Someone decided to surprise our pregnant wife without any warning," Draco said mockingly, reminding Hermione of the spoiled boy he'd been.

Theo scoffed and rolled his eyes, even more annoyed. "Oh fuck off, Draco!" He said, angrily, turning back towards the man in question. "You're just being a whiny little boy because you didn't get to play her knight in shining armour for once!"

"As if you haven't always been that!" Draco shouted, "I'm always the villain and the last to be part of anything. I'm just the fucking pity shag aren't I?"

"Oh fuck that!" Theo sod, finally raising his voice. "You're not a pity shag and you know it, you're being a petulant little boy!"

"Boys," Hermione whispered, but neither heard her over their anger.

"We'll maybe you'd be better off not having to deal with me then!" Draco shouted, turning on his heel to stomp away.

"Enough!" Hermione shouted. Both boys were magically pulled toward her and forced to sit heavily on the chairs on either side of the couch. "Now what, pray tell, seems to be the problem?"

"I-" Draco started, then sighed heavily. "I was worried about you and so was he and our emotions were feeding each other…"

"I suppose I did let the shared feelings get in the way of what was actually the matter," Theo said sheepishly. "But, mate, what is this about feeling like a villain and a pity shag?"

"I…" Draco flushed, embarrassed.

"Draco Lucius Malfoy," she said sternly. "You're our Soulmate, not some fucking extra in the Theomione Love Story!"

Draco flushed even darker, "I know, I suppose I feel like I haven't been enough for you this weekend, you've been so sad and Theo wasn't here and you were so excited to see him, then you fainted and…"

Theo chuckled, "You actually think me being gone is the cause of her sadness?"

"Er…" Draco said, awkwardly.

"She's a menace all the time these days, she's the weepiest girl I've ever met. Granted she was fairly emotion driven before Scorp, but I spend more time wiping her tears while you're at work than accomplishing most of my tasks."

Hermione crossed her arms and glared at him, but couldn't keep her face straight in the wake of his teasing. "Come here, both of you," she said softly. Both of them scrambled over to sit on each of her sides. "I think apologies are in order, and then we can talk about the surprise."

"I'm sorry, querido," Draco said softly.

"I'm sorry too, amor," Theo said, leaning over Hermione to kiss Draco softly.

"Now," Hermione said, turning to Theo. "What happened? Did I imagine seeing my parents?"

At that moment, the doors burst open and Jean Granger came quickly into the room. "Hermione!" she called, pulling her daughter into a huge hug. "You're really alright?"

"Yes Mum I'm-" Hermione started.

"Don't for one second think we're not furious with you, but that's for tomorrow. Today I just want to be with you knowing you're safe."

"Oh Mum I-" Hermione tried again.

"I'm rather perturbed, Pumpkin," Richard Granger cut in, "we'll be having a long discussion tomorrow, but I'm glad to know you're safe."
