That morning, after they saw Draco off with a quick round in the shower, Theo and Hermione made their way to Headquarters to talk to Remus about the school. They quickly put on their glamours, these ones tied to her communication bracelet and Theo's watch. Upon arrival, Remus introduced them to a few key members of the Order, including Neville and his grandmother.
Hermione and Theo sat with Harry, Neville and Remus to plan out the curriculum for the school. They'd found an abandoned factory in Manchester that they'd be using as the premises. Remus and Kingsley had worked out a whole slew of charms and wards to put on the school to keep the students and faculty safe.
"I've got all of Hermione's old syllabi," Harry said after Remus had gone over the wards. "We should be able to create a pretty comprehensive education from those."
"That's great, Harry," Remus said, smiling at him. "Have the two of you looked over the Hogwarts syllabi to make sure it meets your standards?"
"We have," Hermione said softly. "I'd like to recommend adding a class on writing, to help our students flourish in their essay writing. One of the greatest things my parents did was find me a writing tutor, I think that's what made my essays so strong in school."
Remus nodded, eyes lighting up. "I don't necessarily flaunt this, but writing is one of my passions. I've always wanted to write a series about the true life of werewolves, although I think that's further down the line."
"That's brilliant," Theo said in accented English. "Hedy's parents definitely encouraged literacy in the house, something we hope to continue with our little one."
When they began to go through each syllabus, making sure to update them based on their own experiences, Andromeda bustled in with a tea service. "Now I won't have you four starving to death over these dusty papers. Drink up!"
Hermione prepared her tea and caught Neville looking at her peculiarly. "Hermione made her tea just the same, a half a spoon, stir three times, a squeeze of lemon, stir six more. She always said it helped to dissolve the sugar and helped the lemon settle."
Hermione looked at Remus and then Harry who looked like they were having an intense silent conversation. Eventually, Remus sighed, but nodded. "Nev," he said softly, "we have something to tell you, but it's a secret you can't tell anyone. I mean anyone."
Neville didn't tear his eyes away from Hermione. "Who is he then?" he said, jutting his chin towards Theo.
"Theodore Francisco Nott," Theo said good naturedly. "It's a pleasure to see you, old boy."
"I have to clear off the block from your memories," Remus said standing. Neville just nodded, never looking away from Hermione. Remus whispered the spell and Neville blinked slowly.
"You're mad," Neville said with a grin. "I thought I was going crazy. There is no way you would have just died like that."
Hermione and Theo dropped their glamours and grinned at Neville. He stood and pulled Hermione up into a huge hug. "I wish I could be upset, but I'm so glad to see you alive and…" he choked off, "Gods I missed you you crazy witch!"
"Now that we're all on the same page," Theo said, "we can really get started on this whole endeavour. Draco is of course Hermione's backup Potions Master. It's the one that we didn't feel comfortable with an ameteur. Potion mistakes can be absolutely brutal."
Neville nodded thoughtfully as he sat. The rest of the morning flew by and when the group left their annex before lunch the syllabi were finalised and the plans were made they were joined at the lunch table by a slew of Weasleys and a few other Order members. Hermione and Theo were introduced and fell into conversation with George who was asking them about spell and potions creation.
By the time Theo and Hermione got home that afternoon, both were exhausted, although Theo was required to attend a business meeting for the estate. Jean and Hermione spent the evening in the library watching Richard work on a small model of Mitternacht with all of the furniture in its proper place.
