Chapter 1420

Vigor

Savannah knew they were headed for an ambush of some type. It could be anything from a TOW missile, to an RPG, to an EMP. They'd started out in a relaxed pursuit of the green sedan. She directed the SUV with Cameron's Terminators to fall back from her SUV. She was going to take the risk. She wanted Mel and Cammy to join Richard, Michael, Hank and Larry in the other SUV. Young Allison called her and asked her not to give up all of her help.

She thought about it before she changed her mind. She wanted it to be a two way street.

"I'll do it for you, Allison." Savannah said. "You need to remember those same words about yourself too. I should be there with you."

Young Allison understood she wouldn't be able to act as rash on her own, even if she wanted to.

"The point is taken." Young Allison said. "There are others who need to watch our backs for now. We can't be there for each other."

It was clear the girls wanted to look after each other. They were separated by necessity, not by choice.

The drones didn't indicate there was any ambush spotted.

Savannah closed up on the green sedan.

At a scheduled reboot, Cammy came back online.

Savannah wanted to make sure there would be a Terminator available.

"I'd like you to switch your reboots to once every two minutes for twenty seconds." Savannah said. "Mel, I want you to go into standby for thirty seconds every time just before Cammy reboots. Start now."

Cammy looked around worried. She checked for an update. There was nothing different. It didn't mean there wouldn't be soon enough.

"Nothing's changed." Cammy said.

Savannah saw they were now in a less developed area. The further they got away from the developed area, the more it felt like a set up. None of the groups liked to attract unnecessary attention to themselves. They all tried to operate in the shadows and on the sidelines. Not all of them were able to do so.

"I think there's an ambush in place and we are about to get jammed up in it." Savannah said. "It's my 'feeling'."

Cammy didn't like the prospects going forward. They were in for some kind of trouble.

"I'll stick to the new standby schedule." Cammy said.

Cammy checked her weapons and went back into standby.

Mel rebooted five seconds later.

Savannah wanted one of them in standby in case they were hit with an EMP attack. The more remote the area became, the more her feeling increased as to what would happen.

"Keep the same frequency of standbys and reboots." Savannah said. "I think we're going to get 'hit' soon."

Mel checked his weapons quickly.

"Affirmative…." Mel said.

Savannah checked the drone overlay map. She closed up the distance on the green sedan. She checked in with John Henry. She wanted to give everyone a heads up on her feeling was about what may happen soon.

"Make sure all the drones are clear of a moderate EMP blast." Savannah said.

John Henry wanted to remind her more conventional weapons could be used initially.

"You're banking on an EMP as the first weapon." John Henry said. "It could be anything from a LAW rocket to a minigun."

Savannah already gave all of it some thought. Based on what the enemy knew, an EMP attack to start off the ambush would be to their advantage. They didn't use any Terminators, reprogrammed or otherwise.

"I'm aware of it." Savannah said. "The report back to their base should be it was a 'Terminator only' operation. It would give them a chance to deactivate the Terminators and go through their chips. They'll want to do the same thing we wanted to do and find their base. To be able to get a hold of an intact chip or two would allow them to do so."

John Henry felt Savannah took too big of a risk.

"You're still using yourself as bait." John Henry said.

Savannah saw it a little differently. She wanted to get inside the enemy's defenses herself. They wouldn't expect a human to be in the middle of the group. Cameron's Terminators purposely made no indication to the prisoner any humans were involved in their operation

"This may be more of a 'Trojan Horse' play if it works out like I think it will." Savannah said.

Savannah knew it was all a gamble. If they could find the ambush site first, they could strike the first blow. It would put the ambushers off balance. At that point, the ambushers would be ambushed.

John was surprised to see Cameron was already naked when they reached the bedroom. He was a little worried about what his performance level was going to be.

"You look beautiful, Cameron." John said.

Cameron smiled.

"Thank you." Cameron said. "You do too."

She began to undress him. Once his clothes were off she noticed something.

John noticed it too. He was 'down' for the count.

"I may need a little time." John said.

Cameron wanted to help things along.

"You need a short rest." Cameron said. "Maybe I can get you an espresso."

The espresso would have a little 'extra' in it. It would also take some time to work.

John wasn't so sure about it. It might prevent him from sleeping later. He thought about it some more. It was the last night, he didn't need to sleep. He'd have plenty of time to sleep back at the base. He was still a little concerned about the taste.

"That stuff tastes like battery acid." John said. "This is the last night so let's do it. I want to make it good for you like you've made it for me."

Cameron sent Jim a message. There should be some on the way. She'd sent in an order as a precaution on her way down from the sky lounge. She liked to cover all the bases.

"Some will be here in the next few minutes. There will be hot cocoa, and chocolate milk as well, to deal with the aftertaste." Cameron said. "It depends if you want a hot or cold chaser."

It was something he could look forward to.

"Either chaser sounds great." John said.

Cameron moved John onto the bed.

"Let me see if I can get you started up first." Cameron said.

John was a little worried since he hadn't showered.

Cameron was anxious to find out if anything was 'different'. She started in. She paused for a second as she analyzed the results. She started back in again with a renewed vigor once she did.

John wasn't so sure he would need the espresso the way Cameron was going….

Young Allison decided to follow Savannah's example. She asked Steve's team to drop back. She put all the Terminators, except Steve who was driving, on a schedule so two of the three Terminators would be in standby in each vehicle at any time. It should give them a better response if there was an EMP. The worry became if there would be more than one EMP.

She checked the drone overlay map on the blue truck. She decided to close up on it some more. She wasn't going to let the prisoner get away. She hoped to terminate her herself. She was displeased about all the flak she'd received earlier.

If it looked like they were going to bolt and make a run for it, she would call for a missile strike if the conditions warranted it. She needed to think about collateral damage and the surroundings. They may need to fall back on 'metal hail' if the drones needed to remain at high altitude and do gravity shots. They'd proven quite effective so far.

Sheila was with Leticia again after Cam-Holly left when Gail and Cam returned.

"I'm glad you're back." Leticia said. "I thought maybe you dumped me."

Sheila actually wanted to at this point. She didn't want to get 'sucked' in.

"Not yet, love." Sheila said.

Leticia shared a new passion with Sheila.

"I want to be 'good enough'." Leticia said.

Sheila really enjoyed sharing with Leticia. It was her favorite human over any of the girls in the Resistance. It included Jesse and Claire. She did like the love Savannah offered. It was a different experience altogether.

"You're 'good enough' for me." Sheila said. "That's all that matters. This is where we are now."

Sheila wondered if anyone was 'good enough' all of the time. She doubted it. They all had 'ups and downs', including her. It was one of the things Cameron wrote about multiple times in her poems. Every time something negative happened, she believed it was because she was viewed as 'not good enough'.

After a while Leticia was on top of 'Sue'. Her large firm breasts, with the nipple rings, were right in 'Sue's' face. She bent down and kissed 'Sue' soft, slow and delicate. She knew enough about the group to know she knew very little.

"Will you ever tell me your real name - Sue?" Leticia asked.

Sheila wasn't sure it mattered. A name was just a designation. It could be anything.

"When we're together, does it matter?" Sheila asked. "It could be anything from 'Hey You', to 'Unit 69'."

Sheila knew she was going to have to take care of Leticia for a short while after the cruise so she could get reestablished. She really hoped Mary and Laura would take her in. None of them would have any financial worries for a while. CamNet would make sure they didn't.

Leticia was a little disappointed. Maybe 'Sue' didn't fully trust her.

"Sure, Sue, we can live in the moment." Leticia said.

When Sheila was with another female, it's all she ever did. Nothing else mattered at that point. The goal was to reach the finish.

Young Jesse led Holly-Camille into the Control Center. They saw Camille-Holly was already there. So was Jim. They all exchanged pleasantries.

Young Jesse wanted to say a few things to Holly and Camille.

Jim could sense some tension. He was relieved to see the beverage cart was on its way up from the galley. It made a good excuse for him to get away from the Control Center.

"Excuse me." Jim said. "I have some operational matters to attend to."

Jim left. He planned to be 'busy' until the girls in the Control Center were ready to leave. He made a quick exit.

Young Jesse watched Jim go. She turned her attention back to the Metal girls.

"First off, I want to thank both of you for doing the chassis swap." Young Jesse said. "It allowed Camille and me a little more flexibility and time together on the ship."

Holly felt it was a rewarding experience for everyone.

"I really enjoyed what we did." Camille-Holly said.

Holly-Camille felt it was a fantastic experience.

"I did too." Holly-Camille said.

Young Jesse wanted to keep everyone focused. She wanted to address the issue directly.

"I know you want to exchange chassis for now and maybe for good." Young Jesse said. "It's your right. I personally like Camille in her own chassis. I love her. I'm used to her looking like she does. I know if I survive Judgment Day, and all the things which will happen afterwards, I'll grow older and I won't look like this. I don't have a choice. I know Allison was concerned about the swap as well. Please know we love you how you are and we know you are your program and the chassis is optional. The point is, we love you because we love everything about you. We'll never love you less for being who you are."

Holly-Camille saw the scalpel on the desk where Jim was at earlier. She reached over and picked it up. She handed it to Young Jesse. It was time to get things started.

Young Jesse looked at the scalpel with some apprehension.

"I don't have a lot of experience doing this." Young Jesse said.

Camille-Holly wanted her to practice.

"We're here to help you learn." Camille-Holly said.

Holly-Camille wanted Young Jesse to practice on her chassis first.

"We can start with my chassis." Holly-Camille said.

Camille-Holly stripped off her robe and lay on the bed naked.

"She'll show you where to cut." Camille-Holly said. "Remember, the sheath is tougher than it looks to cut through. You'll need to push very hard."

Camille-Holly moved her hair out of the way for a clean cut.

Young Jesse didn't want anyone to feel any unnecessary pain on her behalf.

"You're going to turn your pain receptors off, right?" Young Jesse asked.

"If you insist, I will." Camille-Holly said.

Young Jesse was aware Terminators liked to feel pain so they could 'feel alive'. She felt there were other ways to achieve the same result.

"I do insist." Young Jesse said. "It applies to both of you too. If you want to 'feel alive', I'll be with you afterwards, you'll feel pleasure instead of pain. You'll know you're alive."

Holly-Camille showed Young Jesse where to start the incision. Young Jesse didn't push hard enough with the scalpel at first. She got the hang of it and created the sheath flap. Holly-Camille showed her how to remove the port cover and what was necessary to remove the chip.

"I want to make the incision and have everything ready in Holly's chassis too before I remove a chip." Young Jesse said. "She can watch me make it in her chassis and tell me if I do anything wrong. I want to try it on my own."

It was exactly what Young Jesse did. She did everything like she was supposed to. She looked at both of the nude Terminators on the bed. She needed to focus on the task at hand.

She removed Camille's chip from Holly's chassis, and then Holly's chip from Camille's chassis. She looked at the two chips. It was the essence of who those two individuals were. She wished she could do the same thing with her brain and switch with Savannah and Allison the same way. It wasn't possible. She would love to be in their bodies the same way the Metal girls could switch.

She set both chips and activated them one after the other. Both of the Metal girls rebooted at the same time almost.

Camille reached up and touched her breasts. She looked at Holly.

"I'm going to miss those." Camille said.

Holly reached over and touched Camille's cheek.

"I'm going to miss looking like you." Holly said. "You're very beautiful."

Young Jesse installed the port covers and then sutured each of the sheath flaps down.

"I want each of you to double check my work." Young Jesse said.

Camille and Holly inspected everything on each other.

"You did perfect." Camille said.

Holly was ready to 'feel alive' a different way now.

"I agree." Holly said. "Since we're done here, what was it you said about making us 'feel alive' through pleasure instead of pain?"

Young Jesse was highly aroused at this point.

"Let's go back to my suite." Young Jesse said.

The three girls left the Control Center and headed for the Honeymoon Suite.

They spotted Jim exit the Honeymoon Suite with the soiled laundry.

"Your suite is freshly made." Jim said.

Young Jesse felt a little self conscious.

"You didn't need to do that." Young Jesse said.

Jim smiled at her.

"It's part of my job." Jim said.

The three girls entered the suite and headed for the bedroom.

"I really hate to mess this up again." Young Jesse said.

Camille moved over and opened the bed up. She was ready for some action.

"There, it's done." Camille said. "It's ready for use."

Young Jesse had one request for Holly and Camille.

"Can I watch you two do everything first for a little while?" Young Jesse asked.

Holly and Camille looked at each other.

"Sure." They both said.

Young Jesse didn't want them to start out wildly.

"Start out slow and make it loving at first." Young Jesse said.

Young Jesse watched Holly and Camille start to touch and then kiss. The kisses grew deeper and more intense. Soon they were elsewhere on each other's sheath. First one worked on the other and then both worked on each other at the same time.

They did it until they heard Young Jesse finish as she watched them. They were very content they were able to please her with their actions. They invited her into the middle between them at that point. Young Jesse was highly aroused when they started. With both of them working on her, the finishes were multiple and frequent.

Down Under was seldom quite this good.

Cameron moved away from John. He was highly aroused at this point. She went to the door and brought the beverage cart into the room. She saw Jim look at her naked form. She whispered something to him. He nodded and left.

Jim was very surprised at what Cameron asked for. She'd asked to 'see' the sheets from the Honeymoon Suite.

Cameron spiked the espresso for John and brought it to him along with a glass of chocolate milk. John drank both of them.

"It wasn't so bad was it?" Cameron asked.

John wiped the back of his hand across his mouth.

"Nope, the chocolate milk was a nice touch at the end." John said. "I hadn't had any for years until we got on the cruise. I think I've drunk about a gallon since I've been here. It seems like I've had just about as much espresso as well."

Cameron was sure she'd received about a half gallon of John's essence as well in the various chassis she'd been in. She was sure it would be a gallon if she included the weeks before too. It was a very pleasant thought for her.

She put the empty cup and glass on the beverage cart. She quickly returned to John. She was aware the medicine would start to take effect in half of an hour and be at its peak in an hour.

"Now, where were we?" Cameron asked.

John was sure she knew where she'd left off. He decided to switch it and please her.

"I was just about to start on you." John said.

Cameron went to reposition herself.

John didn't want to get ahead of himself yet.

"NO, no." John said. "I want you to lay there and relax for a while. I got this."

John kissed Cameron and worked his way down from her lips all the way down…. He wanted to allow himself some time to recharge. He didn't know he'd received a 'little help'.

Cameron thought it was going to be a good night.

Dan and Frank left Santa Barbara earlier in the van. They'd stopped a number of petty crimes and acts of vandalism. They thought they'd done a good job cleaning up the local area. They were on the 101 Highway just past Carpinteria when CamNet gave them new information.

There was a group of vandals on the railroad bridge which crossed over the 101 as it passed through Ventura.

They got off the 101 at the exit before the bridge. They parked on a parallel street near a large hotel. It was right on the waterfront. The pier was just south of them. They moved over the railroad tracks at the cross street before the bridge. They checked the drone image.

"It appears they're doing more than just tagging the bridge." Dan said.

Frank looked at the image.

"It looks like they're attempting to cause a derailment." Frank said.

Dan checked the schedule.

"There won't be any more passenger trains until tomorrow." Dan said.

Frank was aware there was usually one local for switching freight and the 'oil train' three days a week.

"There could be an ecological disaster along with a massive fire if they derail the 'oil train'." Frank said.

They both determined it was a very serious infraction. The crime warranted termination.

They knew there were four vandals at the far end of the bridge. They were busy piling railroad ties up on the tracks. They angled them so four of them were facing forward. They were on top of a tie across the rails. They were angled so the backs of them pushed against the connecting tie at the next rail joint. It appeared as if the locomotive would plow into the ties. The ties would push the tracks apart. It would spread the rails and the locomotive would end up 'on the ground'. There was an embankment off to the side. If the locomotive went off the side, it would pull the cars behind it along with it. If it was the 'oil train', the tank cars would end up on the freeway and the surrounding area.

The four vandals continued to pile ties up. They only checked in the direction behind them. They didn't look across the bridge itself.

Dan and Frank made their approach across the bridge. They moved rapidly and were within a few feet of the vandals before they noticed they were there.

One of the vandals looked up.

"Nice night for a walk." The vandal said.

Dan wanted to rectify the situation immediately.

"Wrong…." Dan said.

Dan grabbed the man by the neck and snapped it. He tossed his body off to the side.

Frank moved in at the same time. He grabbed the next two men and picked them up. There was a dull thud and 'crack' noise as their heads slammed into each other.

Dan intercepted the fourth man as he tried to draw some type of weapon. He punched him hard in the face. His head snapped back and dropped over to the side as his body fell. His spine was clearly severed.

They quickly removed the ties from the tracks. They stacked them back on top of the other ones except for a few of them. They tossed those on top of the four bodies. They hoped it would look like the vandals were attempting to cause a derailment when a train came by and hit them and knocked them off to the side. It would serve as a warning for others to stay away from the railroad tracks and specifically the railroad bridge.

They looked around for any other severe vandalism. There was nothing else spotted. They returned back to the van to continue their journey.

They left Ventura behind. They were on their way to the port at San Pedro. They should be there in less than three hours. They elected to take Route 1 from Camarillo and pick up the coast at Point Mugu.

Ken and Lou would remain at Santa Barbara for another hour and then fly to the port. There was a helipad right across from the berth where the ship would dock. CamNet made arrangements for them to spend the rest of the night there. Dan and Frank would join them when they arrived.

Ally and Hanna peeked around the corner at Allison and Vanna. They'd heard them finish up earlier. Once they'd finished themselves they decided to join them. They hoped they hadn't waited too long.

"I think they're asleep." Ally whispered.

Hanna looked a little disappointed.

"We got here too late." Hanna whispered.

Ally didn't want to disturb the girls. There were other fish to fry.

"Maybe we can hit on Mary, Laura and Leticia." Ally whispered.

Hanna hoped for someone else.

"I'd like to see Young Jesse." Hanna whispered.

Ally thought Hanna held a distinct advantage over her.

"I bet she'd really like to be with you." Ally whispered.

Hanna knew she was identical to Savannah, even if she appeared slightly 'older'. All the private parts were identical.

"I do look like her first love." Hanna whispered.

Ally wanted to get started.

"Let's head out." Ally whispered.

Both of the Metal girls were open to Cameron borrowing their chassis again to use with John.

Hanna didn't think Cameron would allow John a chance to 'head in'.

"Where are we going?" Hanna whispered.

Ally wasn't sure it really mattered. All the girls were beautiful to share with.

"We're going to wherever we can find a willing body and a warm bed." Ally whispered. "What else do we need?"

Ally and Hanna would be good with each other. They were the Metal versions of Allison and Vanna after all. It never took them long to bring the special bond back to the forefront.

If Hanna hadn't been 'assigned' to Claire, by Claire's choice, the love-love relationship between Ally and Sheila would still be between Hanna and Ally.

Mary and Laura were physically tired out and sleepy.

Cam and Gail thought maybe they should wrap it up with the girls for the night. They were each pleased they got to spend time with the girls in their own chassis as the finale.

After Mary and Laura each finished one more time with 'Peggy' and 'Lisa', they wished the girls 'goodnight'.

Cam and Gail could hear Sheila in with Leticia as they passed her suite.

There were still a couple more options open to them.

"Let's see if we can hit on Vanna and Allison." Cam said.

Gail hoped for a special liaison.

"I'd like to visit Young Jesse since I'm back in my chassis." Gail said.

Gail wanted to be with every version of Jesse.

"Take your pick. The mental choice is 'Cameron', 'Savannah' or 'Jesse'." Cam said.

Gail came up with a better idea.

"Maybe we can do all three." Gail said.

Cam thought it was an even better idea.

"I like the way you think." Cam said.

Cam also really liked Gail's sheath with the large breasts, smaller secret spot, and the improved 'Neural Network'.

It was clear to Cam that Mrs. Weaver created a superior design with the Restorators as compared to Skynet's Terminators. Then again, a machine with 'hands on' experience trumped one stuck in a metal box. A metal box would always prove to be a metal coffin for Skynet and any of it's illegitimate offshoots.

John Henry was sorry to see Summer leave. He liked her insight and ability. If her mother came looking for her, she didn't want any problems.

Claire and Jesse were both in Claire's room at this point. It was doubtful they would be out for the rest of the night. It was getting late.

His main concern right now was Savannah and Young Allison.

Savannah was most likely headed for an ambush. The same thing would probably happen with Young Allison. They were aware of the risk and took it anyway. They wanted to find the anti-Metal group's base of operations and deal them a fatal blow. They hoped to accomplish it before Cameron returned tomorrow.

It seemed like things were about to come to a head.

They were pretty sure there was going to be an EMP based attack with the green sedan. The drones were all at altitude and on wide orbits to avoid being incapacitated by the EMP.

John Henry and CamNet searched intently for where the ambush was going to be at. So far nothing clicked.

Before Summer left, she told CamNet and John Henry to have the drones at high altitude ready to do a 'gravity shot' with minigun fire. She thought of it as 'metal hail'. They could also send the missiles on there way as 'gravity bombs'.

She warned them wherever Savannah and the Terminators were, they would most likely advance on the enemy and to keep it in mind. There was a multi-second delay when the weapons fired before the projectiles impacted the ground.

Once again, the 'Coriolis Effect' would need to be calculated for the rotation of the earth as objects slowed to 'terminal velocity' to reach their targets.

Savannah watched the road around her. She wanted to angle the SUV into the best defensive position she could when the EMP went off. She would need to exit the vehicle and fight whoever approached it. There would most likely be a second EMP blast once it looked like the Terminators weren't all down.

She doubted the EMP blast would be more than a relatively small one. It was a gamble. The second one could be bigger or smaller. If the anti-Metal group was able to get a hold of some of the EMP grenades, they could keep the Terminators down for a long time.

Mel went offline a few seconds before Cammy rebooted.

Cammy noted the high stress level Savannah was under. She could tell without even scanning her. She wondered if something changed.

"Is there anything different yet?" Cammy asked.

Savannah searched the area in front of her.

"No." Savannah said.

Cammy checked her phone and com for anything new. There was nothing.

She went back into standby and Mel rebooted a few seconds later. The process was repeated over and over.

Savannah didn't want to be caught flat footed. She was unsure if an EMP would only shut a Terminator down or damage them further. There were some internal safeties. When in direct contact of an attack like a Taser, it always triggered the one hundred twenty second reboot. The goal was to try to have a Terminator in standby before one happened. They should be protected and able to quickly get back into the fight.

Summer checked her tablet, laptop and desktop computer. She wasn't content with walking away from the operation at the current critical stage.

She was going to need to have a talk with her mother and get things straightened out as to the reality of the situation. She thought of asking Allison – Young Allison to back her up. She decided she would do it on her own. She was an 'adult' for all practical purposes even if her body wasn't quite there yet. She did lack 'personal interaction' with others as well. There was a great amount of respect she would need to show her mother, because she was her mother. Maybe she wasn't really her mother, but just the one who gave birth to her. Either way, she was her 'mother' as far as having raised and loved her. It was what a real mother was about anyway.

She switched to observing maps of the terrain where the green sedan was headed. She lacked the ability to see at night. She could use geological information and satellite photos to anticipate potential ambush sites.

She communicated directly with CamNet now. She explained what she was searching for and why. She was pleased to see CamNet sent ten more drones to back up Savannah and Young Allison than were already there. She didn't inquire as to how some of them were able to get there so quickly. They were either on another operation, or had already been dispatched.

Summer wanted to start 'recon by fire' at the various target locations. There would be a silent deadly 'metal hail' which landed on the ground and rocks. If she found the ambush site, death would fall silently from the sky and then the impacts would begin.

Drones were direct where to go and were about to initiate the procedure. She warned again about the Resistance personnel exiting the vehicles to fight. The ambush could be both in front and in back of where the SUV was stopped at. It was doubtful anything would be simple.

Young Allison closed up on the blue truck. It appeared to be headed back into a well populated area. It was doubtful they would use anything other than an EMP grenade on them. The yield was very limited. The effect on a Terminator would still be debilitating.

She directed several drones to move in closer. She asked for volunteers as the EMP could cause them to lose control and crash. They didn't know what size it would be. If anyone got out of the truck, she wanted them brought down with minigun fire. Those people weren't going to get away.

Young Allison went over everything with Anna during her reboots.

The issue of collateral damage was raised.

Young Allison wanted the targets neutralized. She also didn't want to make the same mistakes Future John made. She didn't want to atone for civilian deaths due to her actions. She was aware in certain situations she may not be able to use as much restraint. It would all come down to whatever the particular situation was.

Cameron let John 'work' on her and enjoyed every second of it. She was able to focus on the sensations he provided her with. She did know the medicine should kick in soon.

It turned out it was sooner than she thought. Maybe John was just excited to be with her like he said.

John was upon her without warning. He was 'up' to the task. It was a nice way to get things started. They soon became 'one' as they shared.

It wasn't long until all the Metal girls, except Sheila, were in the Honeymoon Suite.

Young Jesse asked to be with each one alone, one at a time. She planned to be up all night if necessary to do so.

The rest of the Metal girls headed into the spare room of the Honeymoon Suite to await their opportunity to be with Young Jesse. They decided to keep themselves busy with each other. Cam and Holly retreated back to the Master Suite to be with their lovers if they awoke. Gail spent the longest time with Young Jesse.

It was a very productive night for Young Jesse. She hoped to top it off with Allison and then Vanna. She hoped the next person she could be with after Vanna was Savannah, once they got to the Resistance base.

Sheila could tell Leticia was 'different' now. She really made love to her. It was no longer just sex. She would have preferred the sex, but the feelings being conveyed were able to 'reach' her.

She suddenly felt the 'need' to tell Leticia her real name was 'Sheila'. She wasn't sure why. She resisted and didn't do it. She didn't want to become attached to Leticia the way things were happening.

If anything, she wanted to make Leticia more independent and not need to be anyone's submissive anymore. It was exciting in concept, but it was degrading to the female. This wasn't the age where it needed to happen anymore.

Sheila blinked her eyes. She was aware something was in and on her face. It was Leticia's large firm breasts with the nipple rings.

"I thought those would get your attention." Leticia said. "You seemed 'zoned out' a little bit."

Sheila wondered how long she'd been inactive.

She wanted to move and realized that Leticia held her left hand. She went to pull it away but Leticia still held it.

"You experienced a little bit of a compulsive movement disorder." Leticia said. "It stopped when I took your hand. You're very strong."

Leticia remembered the way 'Sue' dealt with the 'Crazy Bitch'. She was able to move her around like a rag doll. She'd done the same thing with Tracy. She liked it because 'Sue' was dominant, forceful and strong.

Sheila wondered what was happening to her. She was supposed to be the one in control. It made it easier for her to understand Cameron at times like these. It was a terrible burden for anyone to need to carry.

CamNet's Terminators watched things unfold while the men were inside the rear of the old supermarket. They hadn't been inactive during the time.

As soon as the men entered into the old supermarket, the drone over the area picked up a black sedan moving towards the location. There was soon another one on its way as well.

"It looks like we're going to have some additional company." Lena said.

Tina didn't like the looks of what the company was.

"The black sedans have the Syndicate written all over them." Tina said.

Lena was a little more concerned about how quickly they were able to respond. They needed to be somewhere close by to have made a move this quickly and be this close. It was clear the Syndicate had the location under surveillance. It was surveillance they were unaware of.

"There has to be a safe house nearby." Lena said. "None of this is coincidence."

The Syndicate suffered heavy losses in their encounters with the Skynet forces as well as Resistance. They believed there was a third group involved as well. The full extent of their involvement had never been uncovered.

Tina wondered if the two men would attract any other forces. The arrival of the Syndicate soldiers could trigger something else.

"Do you think anyone else will show up?" Tina asked

Lena didn't know what to expect.

"It looks like the Syndicate group is going to box them in." Lena said. "They're going to be trapped in the alley."

CamNet decided to act. She wanted the men in the van to continue whatever quest they were on. There was still the possibility they wanted to lead the group into some type of ambush. They originally thought it could be the Resistance group. Now it looked like they were caught up in an ambush of their own.

Lena and Tina looked at each other when they received their new instructions. They quickly moved to within one block of the supermarket.

They exited the SUV. Each one of them would head for a different entrance into the alley. They would approach from each side of the old supermarket. They were to intercept and terminate the Syndicate soldiers. They were to glean whatever information they could from them and take their phones with them.

CamNet knew Young Allison possessed a special dislike with the Syndicate, and the Cartel by extension. It all stemmed from the incident in Las Vegas when the Syndicate sent three enforcers after the Metal girls. She debated whether to inform Young Allison as to what was currently going down. It seemed like a bad idea based upon what Young Allison was currently involved with. The operation was technically an 'off the books' operation. It seemed like a good idea to keep it the same way.

Lena checked the drone footage around her as she advanced. They'd been warned to not only look for additional Syndicate personnel, but any other suspicious vehicles as well. So far none had been spotted.

She advanced up to the edge of the alley from a side street. She could see the black sedan. In the distance she could also see the white van. There were two individuals inside of the black sedan she could see. The car was running. It looked like they would pull out and block the alley in front of the van when it started to move.

She checked her phone and saw the men were still inside of the building. They were currently in the freezer. It was time to make her move before things got started.

The two men in the black sedan stared down the alley in front of them. They didn't look behind them or around them. They've been given a very specific target and they could see it further down the alley.

"We've been waiting a long time to get our hands on these yahoos." The first thug said.

The second thug took a long drag on his cigarette.

"It's a bunch of hoopla about nothing." The second thug said. "The rest of our guys got sloppy, that's all."

The first thug needed to agree. They'd been tied up with the Cartel forces for the last few months. They weren't even sure who the people were they were supposed to take down. He was just about to speak when the man in the passenger seat slumped over towards him. By the time his brain registered what happened, and the flash of light which followed, his world went dark without a sound heard.

Lena opened the passenger door and pulled out the dead passenger. She moved him to the rear of the vehicle. She went around to the driver's side and opened the trunk. She left the keys in the ignition and pulled out the driver. She quickly went through his pockets and removed his phone. She took him to the rear and stuffed him in the trunk. She went through the pockets of the passenger and took his phone as well. She picked him up and stuffed him in as well. She closed the trunk lid and quickly withdrew from the area. She took a different route back than she'd taken to get there.

Tina approached the other black sedan from the rear. Her episode played out almost identical to Lena's. Both of the men have been fixated on the van in front of them. They were very sloppy. They were used to dealing with street punks.

She collected their phones and anything else of relevance. She stuffed both of them in the trunk as well. She closed the trunk lid and quickly withdrew from the area. She took a different route back than she'd taken to get there.

Lena could see Tina approaching from the side. She checked for any drone updates or any changes around them. There weren't any.

"I didn't have any trouble." Lena said.

Everything went smoothly for Tina.

"There was no resistance." Tina said.

They returned to their SUV. No sooner had they gotten in than they saw the van make it's aborted trip forward, before its wild journey backward begin.

CamNet's Terminators remained where they were as they watched the van leave the area. They wanted to see if it picked up a tail. It was clear at least one group was still watching the old supermarket. There may be others. The drone continued to check around them for any abnormalities.

The female Fanatic and Jill locked the car and headed into the convenience store. They checked around them to make sure no one paid them any attention. So far no one had. There was currently one car getting gasoline at the pump across from the diner and the motel.

They picked out a number of items to take with them.

Jill looked at the anti-drowsy tablets.

"Maybe I should get a pack of these." Jill said.

The female Fanatic touched one of the pockets of her cargo pants.

"I still have a few of them." The female Fanatic said. "I had some pretty wild dreams when I finally got to rest. You shouldn't take any until you sleep for a while first."

The female Fanatic paid for everything at the small counter. They were just about to exit. The female Fanatic raised her hand and stopped Jill from walking out.

"It looks like trouble." The female Fanatic said.

The two men laughed as they headed back towards the hole in the wall community. They passed by the three big rigs now going in the opposite direction from them.

"We'll see you guys later." The first man said.

The second man didn't think so.

"I doubt it." The second man said.

The first man hoped they could have stolen something. They could always turn a quick profit on it.

"Don't be such a sissy." The first man said.

The second man didn't want to argue about it again. He was the one who saw the 'animal' in the back of the big rig trailer.

"We're almost back at the diner." The second man said. "I only see one car in the gas station."

The two men drove behind the diner. There were only two cars parked in back of it. One was probably for the cook and the other one was probably for the waitress.

There were several cars parked in back of the motel. One probably belonged to the desk clerk. The other three were probably guests.

"Do you want to stay for a few hours or not?" The first man asked.

The second man looked over at the diner.

"We won't need to stop there." The second man said. "We just left a short time ago."

Two men in the truck drove past each of the cars behind the motel. They would check them out later before they checked in, if they checked in. They would see if there was anything worth stealing. They continued around the far side of the motel. They paused for a moment before they made the turn onto the cross street.

"Let's check out the gas station." The first man said.

The second man wondered what for.

"We tanked up when we got here." The second man said.

The first man wanted to see if they could turn up some action.

"We can pick up a few supplies for when we're on the road." The first man said.

The two men in the truck headed across the street towards the gas station.

Earlier:

The female Fanatic and Jill pause at the door of the convenience store.

"It looks like trouble." The female Fanatic said.

Jill looked over towards the diner where Jackie pointed. She spotted the pickup truck from earlier turn in back of it.

"Those two losers are back again." Jill said.

The female Fanatic knew they needed to move. She handed Jill the keys.

"Let's go." The female Fanatic said. "Get in and start the car. Get ready to move when I say so."

Jill started the car and put it in gear. She was ready to roll. The car faced towards the main street. The convenience store building at the gas station shielded them from view from the direction of the diner and the motel.

The female Fanatic moved to the rear corner of the building and looked towards the diner and motel across the street. It was the street which intersected with the main road. She saw the pickup truck slowly move from in back of the diner towards the rear of the motel. She figured they were looking for their vehicle or a target of opportunity to burglarize. It was most likely both.

She quickly ran back to the car and got in.

"Go out to the main street and make a right." The female Fanatic said. "You need to hurry."

Jill immediately stepped on the gas and passed the pumps where she'd gotten fuel earlier. She pulled back onto the main street and made the right hand turn. She briefly stopped at the stop sign.

The female Fanatic wanted to see where the pickup truck was at once the diner would block them from its view if it was still behind the building. She could see if it pulled around to the front of it. If it pulled around to the front of the motel before they were blocked by the diner, the men would see them.

"Stop next to the diner and let me look in back of it." The female Fanatic said. "Actually, let me check across the front of it first to make sure we weren't spotted."

The female Fanatic got out and moved back to look across the front of the diner. She didn't see the truck in front of the motel. She ran along the side of the diner and looked along the back of it. She saw the truck make the turn to go around the far side of the motel. She ran back towards the vehicle.

"Put it in 'Park' and move over." The female Fanatic said. "I'm going to drive."

Jill did as she was instructed.

The female Fanatic got in the car and immediately put it in 'Drive'.

"Did you see them?" Jill asked.

The female Fanatic checked her rear view mirror. She looked over in back of the diner as she drove past it. There was no sign of the truck.

"They just went around the back of the motel on the far side." The female Fanatic said. "I don't know which direction they'll go once they pull in front of it. I want to put some distance between us and this location."

There was no traffic behind them and no oncoming traffic. The female Fanatic turned her lights off. She drove at a rapid pace.

Vigor

When one is younger
They seem to have more vitality
It can lead to actions
Where it tests their morality

Things happen fast and furiously
With a bumped up frequency
It's all part of life
Filled with a new vibrancy

Some things are very focused
They will increase in intensity
The boundaries they push
Seem to expand and grow in immensity

One knows they're inflicted
It dogs them like an allergy
It consumes all their time
It burns all of their energy

When was the first spark
What was the trigger
It seems to matter not
As one pounces with renewed vigor

Nobody
