Chapter 1424
Sorry To Interrupt
Savannah was unsure what she was in the middle of. They'd been after a group from the anti-Metal faction and now there was what appeared to be a Skynet jamming field in place.
The high altitude drone strikes stopped. Savannah figured it was because they were 'blinded' by the jamming field. She'd been surprised they'd actually gone on for a time after the jamming field was in place with hits scored. She knew it was effective because of the screams she could hear.
Cammy came back online a few seconds later. She made a quick assessment of her surroundings.
"Do you want to move to a different location when Richard and Michael reboot?" Cammy asked.
Savannah wasn't sure yet. There were several things she needed to consider.
"John Henry knows where we're at right now." Savannah said. "If we move, he won't know where we are. There's been drone gravity fire all around us."
Cammy listened for any activity currently. She was unable to detect anything.
"There's nothing right now." Cammy said.
Richard and Michael reported from the west side and in back of the SUV as soon as they rebooted.
Savannah debated whether to have them go back into standby or not.
"Will an EMP knock out the Skynet jamming field?" Savannah asked.
Cammy wasn't sure it was Skynet's doing.
"It seems it would. It may be all part of the anti-Metal groups plan. They may have one they captured or built." Cammy said. "Remember, these groups have all infiltrated each other."
Savannah needed more information. She looked at each of the Terminators.
"Do any of you hear anything?" Savannah asked.
They all reported back negative on any activity.
"It's possible they've withdrawn." Cammy said. "The jamming field may be to cover their retreat."
Savannah wanted some intel.
"I want Richard and Michael to get into the brush on either side of us and then alternate going into standby for a while." Savannah said. "This position may be compromised. They should have some concealment there if anyone approaches and they're in standby."
Cammy wondered what was up.
"What are we going to do?" Cammy asked.
Savannah looked up where she fired the HE round from her M203. It was a target she saw personally.
"Let's go see what I hit." Savannah said. "I know I scored on something. I heard the screams."
Cammy wanted to use caution. They didn't know the enemy's strength.
"There could be more of them." Cammy said. "They may have been reinforced."
Savannah doubted there was anyone left alive after the minigun gravity shot which followed. She'd seen the entire area pelted with 'metal hail' and the shower of sparks it created.
"It's why I'm bringing you." Savannah said. "You'll be my eyes and ears."
They waited until Richard and Michael were concealed before they started out.
Cammy was aware of the safeguards for them. She wanted to remind Savannah what the safeguards were about.
"There's still the risk of another EMP." Cammy said.
It was a major worry for Savannah. She didn't plan to leave anyone behind. She'd faced similar circumstances previously.
"I won't leave you if there is." Savannah said. "I'll at least stash you somewhere. I've done it before."
Cammy remembered when Savannah stashed her in a drainage culvert to hide her when she was incapacitated on another occasion. She took point and started towards the rocks. She saw Savannah turn her com back on. It wasn't going to function.
"What are you doing?" Cammy asked. "You know it's not going to work."
Savannah thought it was more a matter of interpretation as to how it could be used, especially in the current situation.
"I want to know if the jamming field goes off." Savannah said. "It probably means there is going to be another EMP set off."
Cammy quickly turned her com back on too. It sounded like a logical idea.
"I'll go into standby if I hear any change with my com." Cammy said.
Savannah knew Cammy might freeze in place or drop to the ground in front of her at any time if she did it. She wanted to remind Cammy she would be there for her.
"OK." Savannah said. "Let's go. I won't leave you."
Savannah didn't know what they were going to face at their current location. There was enemy activity on both sides of where they currently were. There was enemy activity behind them as well. They didn't know what the strength of the enemy was or any of their locations. Without communication from the Command Center. They are unable to see any drone images either.
Young Allison watched the truck depart from the drone footage. She'd been successfully able to elude it by completing a circle around the gas station at the same time as the blue truck did. She was able to keep the superstructure of the building between them as they made their circuit around the gas station.
Steve and Tom were already out on the road in front of it. They hoped to spot any ambush being set up in the works. Since they were in front of the blue truck they shouldn't be identified as a target. There was no guarantee.
Young Allison didn't want to get caught up in an ambush.
"Is there any parallel route we can take?" Young Allison asked.
Anna checked the maps in her files.
"Not really." Anna said. "We'll be the first vehicle behind the blue truck."
Young Allison pulled out of the gas station. She looked at the Terminators.
"Start back into your standby rotation." Young Allison said.
Young Allison listened to John Henry and watched the drone footage on her phone as she drove. She drove blind at this point as to where they were actually headed. She figured it was a good bet they were headed for trouble.
Cameron was pleased Vanna and Allison were on each side of her. It reminded her of the times back in the beginning when they were always there for her. Over time it seemed so much changed in some ways while so little changed in other ways. The girls were the same as they'd always been. They loved her and they'd blindly followed her anywhere. Even to their doom. She was glad she was able to 'fix' all of it. There were however two duplicate sets of them now. There were two duplicates of her as well.
Vanna got Allison up to speed on the operations. She quickly understood why Cameron was worried. She too was just as worried now. Allison – Young Allison shouldn't even be there. It was bad enough. What Savannah needed to deal with was even worse.
Allison could see the anxiety Cameron was currently under. She wanted to remind her of the reality of the situation. They were on a ship at sea.
"There's nothing we can do from here, Cameron." Allison said.
Vanna already tried the same reasoning. It didn't do much to help.
Cameron looked very frustrated.
"I'm supposed to be with John right now." Cameron said. "Now I'm stuck here hoping for the best. It's all I can do for now."
Vanna and Allison each held one of her hands as they viewed the screens. Cam and Holly were both there still. All they could do was watch. It was pointless since they were unable to do anything.
John Henry tried to see what they could from the sides into where Savannah was at. It was bad enough. There was a bigger worry now. He was concerned about Summer's earlier proposal.
"I don't think we should hijack any missiles from the military yet." John Henry said.
Summer thought it was a viable option.
"I've asked CamNet to make preparations." Summer said. "It's a sound plan to deliver a knockout blow. I think it should be kept available for now."
They soon picked up some movement from where Savannah's team was at. There was little detail.
"Cammy and Savannah are on the move." John Henry said.
Summer looked at the images.
"Savannah wants to check on the first position she fired on. She knows it was a sure target." Summer said. "It was the first point of contact for her."
John Henry understood the reasoning. He hoped there weren't any survivors.
"It's logical." John Henry said. "They will still need to use extreme caution."
John Henry hoped they could come up with some answers.
Summer was worried about Savannah's team as well as Young Allison's team.
"We need to worry about Young Allison's and her group too." Summer said. "I think it's close to its next phase."
John Henry looked at everything Summer did and didn't see what she referred to. He hadn't noted any significant changes.
"What phase?" John Henry asked.
It seemed to her the 'chase' was almost over.
"I believe it was the second to the final check for a tail before they arrive at wherever they're going." Summer said.
John Henry wondered where they were going. They still didn't have any indication.
"I'm worried about an ambush on the backtrack route." John Henry said. "If they passed one earlier, they'll spot the vehicles from our group again when they return."
Summer thought there were ways around it.
"They can always do another vehicle swap." Summer said. "Wait. Something's happening."
Leticia woke up. She was a little disoriented. 'Sue' was gone again. She got up to look around.
She checked on Mary and Laura and they were both asleep. She returned to her suite and decided to look out in the hall. She was naked so she only opened the door a little. Much to her surprise 'Barbara' and 'Lisa' were standing there. Maybe they'd just arrived.
It was actually Camille and Gail.
She opened the door for them to enter. She felt a rush of excitement. It wasn't about seeing them either.
"I'm ready." Leticia said. "Let me grab a robe."
Camille and Gail looked at each other.
"You're ready for what?" Camille asked.
Leticia looked at 'Barbara'.
"I'm ready to be with Tony." Leticia said. "Sue told me you would decide when it was. It looks like now to me."
Leticia hoped 'Barbara' would watch her as Tony took her. It always excited her to have someone, or even a group, watch her when she was one on one with someone. She preferred it to be a female, but some of them were males. It might turn into a three way at some point.
Camille knew Leticia thought she was Cameron or 'Barbara'. She didn't want to send any mixed signals.
"He's asleep right now." Camille said.
Leticia looked disappointed.
"Is Sue with him again?" Leticia asked.
Gail knew where Sheila was. She was with Young Jesse.
"Sue is with Stephany." Gail said.
Camille shot Gail a stern look. It was going to be hard to explain. Two sisters 'together' would raise a few eyebrows. It wasn't something most humans engaged in. At least it wasn't acknowledged as such. Reports indicated there was a lot more incest involved in every country around the world than anyone would ever admit to. It still seemed to be the last taboo subject.
Leticia's interpretation was quite different from Camille's. She thought there was caring and beauty in it.
"Oh, I understand." Leticia said. "Sue is checking to see how her younger sister is doing since it was her first time."
The statement sounded like a good 'out' why Sheila and Young Jesse would be together.
"You're right." Camille quickly said. "You know how it is."
Leticia nodded.
"I think it's beautiful." Leticia said. "Sue is very caring and loving. She was very excited for Stephany. I'd like to be with Stephany too. I wish Sue would have brought me."
Gail wondered about Leticia's options. She wanted to verify her preference.
"Would you rather be with Tony or Stephany?" Gail asked.
Camille wondered where the conversation was going.
Leticia answered without hesitation. If she was given the choice, it would always be a female first.
"I would rather be with Stephany." Leticia said. "I'll be with Tony because Sue asked me to. He seems like a very nice guy as well. He was very kind and respectful to all of the females in your group. It says something about someone's disposition. I'll do whatever Sue asks me to do. I like to obey and serve."
Camille wanted Leticia back in bed.
"We're here now." Camille said.
Leticia kissed Gail and then Camille.
Camille scanned Leticia. She understood what Sheila was after. It appeared Leticia could conceive soon. She wanted to see what else was going on.
"You and 'Lisa' can get started." Camille said. "I need to check on a few things real quick."
Camille left Gail with Leticia and hurried back to the private area. She wanted to check on Young Jesse and find out what Cameron wanted to do about Leticia. She didn't want to let her own personal opinion cloud her judgment.
Camille entered the Honeymoon Suite. She was surprised at what she heard. It was a discussion between Sheila and Young Jesse.
"I'm pregnant?" Young Jesse asked.
Sheila still scanned her. She hadn't stopped.
"Yes." Sheila said.
Sheila looked over to see who'd entered.
Camille peeked around the corner. When she saw they weren't 'involved' directly she knocked and entered.
"I'm sorry to interrupt. I need to know if it's true." Camille said. "It sounds like great news."
Camille thought the greatest part about it was Young Jesse wouldn't need to be with John anymore. She could already see the way they were becoming attached to each other. It was clear the more they shared with each other, the more they would want to be with each other.
Sheila moved over so Camille could scan Young Jesse herself.
Young Jesse looked very pleased. The baby was for Jesse. Savannah told her how much Jesse wanted to be a mother. Gail previously called her too. Neither one asked her directly, but they'd indicated her mother could 'help' too. It didn't bother her as much as it did Savannah to give up a child. She started out with the plan it would be for the older versions of herself who were sterile. She'd never intended to have a baby for herself or give it to Cameron and John.
Her earlier discussions with Cameron indicated she was willing to do so. She still believed Cameron wanted a child from Young Allison or Savannah. One thing was for sure. She wasn't ready to become a mother herself. She knew she needed to think about Judgment Day and the horror which would follow. If she waited too long, some other version of her from a different or alternate future would need to provide a child for her if she wanted one and was unable to conceive. If they were all the same individual, it didn't really matter. It would be their child for any of them.
Sheila still wanted to share with Young Jesse. Since Camille was there, and Young Jesse was confirmed pregnant, she thought she should leave the two of them alone since they were lovers. It seemed like it was a moment they would want to share with each other.
"Maybe I should go." Sheila said.
Young Jesse wanted her to stay.
"We were just getting started." Young Jesse said.
Camille felt like she'd intruded on Young Jesse's personal space.
"I was just passing by." Camille said. "I need to see what Cameron wants to do about Leticia and John. Leticia said you wanted her to be with 'Tony'."
Young Jesse wasn't so sure about the necessity for it. She felt a little jealous. She was clearly in love with John now. She carried a second child of his right now. She was about to say something but hesitated when she looked at Camille. She could see how things could become clouded and convoluted very quickly when dealing with personal relationships.
"I think she can conceive." Sheila said. "She would have the baby and would give it to Cameron and John."
Young Jesse doubted it. She was aware she could compress the timeline necessary to have a child and then get pregnant again and have another. She'd already compressed the timeline once when she gave her first baby to the Duplicate Jesse 'In Some Future'. It all happened when she'd visited the Resistance base the first time. It was when her parents were along. She still remembered the look her mother gave her when she saw her after a few hours. It had actually been ten months for her. She was sure her mother knew something happened, but didn't know what. If she did, she didn't comment on it. He knew how Savannah felt about her two children. Leticia might feel the same or even stronger.
"You don't know she would for sure." Young Jesse said. "She might want to keep it nine months from now. I can have another one for Cameron and John. Get me on a temporal mission and I'll do the same thing again next month after I return and give Jesse this baby."
Camille didn't like the idea. Savannah and Young Allison were the ones who were supposed to deal with the issue.
"Let's get through this one first." Camille said. "Jesse doesn't even know about this yet."
Sheila wanted to tell Cameron and Gail.
"I need to let a couple of people know about where things stand." Sheila said. "I'm going to ask what Cameron wants to do about Leticia. The current situation changes everything."
Camille looked at Young Jesse. She didn't want to tell her, but she felt she should. The true test of love was sacrifice.
"Leticia asked if she could be with you." Camille said.
Young Jesse felt a rush of excitement. She also needed to think about a few others first.
"She's beautiful." Young Jesse said. "I'd like to but I don't know if I should. I want to be with all the girls in the Resistance. I don't know how Savannah would take it."
Sheila didn't see it as a big deal. It was just a 'little strange'. All the Metal girls, as well as Allison and Vanna, already shared with the new girls.
"What happens on the ship, stays on the ship." Sheila said.
Young Jesse touched her belly. She felt a personal obligation to let both John and Cameron hear the news from her first.
"This won't stay on the ship." Young Jesse said. "I want to tell Cameron myself."
Sheila thought maybe it was what Cameron needed right now. It was some good news. She would tell her Young Jesse asked to see her and try to get her out of the Control Center before she malfunctioned from worry. There was nothing Cameron could do from there anyway.
"I'll be right back." Sheila said.
Sheila left naked.
Savannah followed Cammy towards the location where she'd fired an HE round from her M203.
Cammy moved carefully off to the side as she approached the target area. She paused.
"What is it?" Savannah whispered.
Cammy looked intently.
"I see blood running down the rocks." Cammy whispered.
Cammy moved more off to the side and went a little higher. She wanted to get above the spot and behind it.
There was enough moonlight for Savannah to follow Cammy over the rocky terrain of the hillside.
Cammy paused. She took in the scene before her.
"I see three bodies." Cammy whispered. "None of them are moving. One has both arms blown off and the other two have been hit with shrapnel or multiple projectiles from gravity minigun fire."
Savannah knew it was from her HE round on at least one of the fallen. She wanted to know where they came from. It sounded like 'metal hail' took out the others. She wanted to know what else was there, if anything.
"Let's move in and see if they were just waiting for us, or they were in a bunker or something." Savannah whispered.
They moved up. She saw Cammy check each of the dead to make sure they were dead. They were. Cammy searched them while Savannah looked around the area.
"I've got something." Cammy whispered.
Cammy recovered a folded paper.
"What is it?" Savannah whispered.
Cammy looked out over the landscape to the other side where the other rocky hills were at. On the paper was a map of the locations on how the ambush was to be laid out. It was evidently created to prevent the group from firing on each other and creating a friendly fire incident.
"It was their ambush setup. I saw every one of those locations hit with a missile or minigun fire." Cammy whispered. "Someone did some good targeting really fast."
Savannah picked two strange looking grenades.
"Are these EMP grenades?" Savannah whispered.
Cammy took one and looked closely at it.
"Yes." Cammy whispered. "You can use them pretty much like a standard grenade. They don't look damaged."
Cammy used the ambush layout and went to each of the positions which were marked. There were dead bodies at all of the locations. About a third of them were away from the indicated positions but they'd been hit with minigun fire anyway. It appeared they'd tried to retreat but didn't make it. Deadly 'metal hail' found them and blocked their path.
Savannah followed Cammy, even though she didn't want her to. She didn't want Cammy to go alone. She felt the danger of another EMP blast, of any type, was still very high.
Cammy and Savannah didn't know the targets were hit by gunfire directed by Summer when she couldn't see the targets but she'd anticipated their movements.
"I think everyone here is dead." Cammy said.
Savannah wasn't so sure.
"What about the jamming field? Where's it at?" Savannah asked. "Did it mask someone's escape?"
Cammy hoped the drones looking in from the sides would spot any breakaway from someone in the enemy group.
"I don't know." Cammy said. "Let me look around some more and see if I can find the jammer. Based on the change in the tone of the feedback from my com, I think we're close."
Savannah wondered what they would walk into. She wanted to remind Cammy of the precautions they would need to take.
"Remember, if the feedback stops, go into standby immediately." Savannah said.
Cammy looked up.
"I hear a drone." Cammy said.
Savannah took out one of the EMP grenades. She offered it to Cammy. They'd recovered several more as well.
"I think you can toss one of these pretty high for an air burst if necessary. I'm sure it would cover a greater area." Savannah said.
Cammy didn't know what the target was. She would need to go into standby immediately after she threw the grenade to prevent any damage to herself.
Sheila went into the Control Center. It looked like Allison and Vanna were able to calm Cameron down.
"Cameron, I need to borrow you for a few minutes." Sheila said.
Everyone looked at Sheila. Since she was naked, they figured she'd just come from a sexual encounter. They weren't very far off of the mark.
Cameron became concerned.
"What happened?" Cameron asked.
Cameron unplugged and got up. She looked a little worried.
"Did you injure or terminate one of the girls from the ship?" Cameron asked.
Allison and Vanna quickly looked at each other. It could happen if one of the Metal girls got carried away.
Sheila was a little stunned by Cameron's question.
"What?" Sheila asked. "No!"
Sheila hurried back out so Cameron would hurry to follow her.
Vanna watched them go.
"Do you think we should go to see what it is?" Vanna asked.
Cam was uncertain as to what the nature of the incident might be. There could be a number of variables involved. She looked over at Holly.
"Holly and I will go." Cam said. "You two remain here with Jim."
Holly and Cam left a few seconds after Cameron and Sheila.
Allison watched them go. She then turned her attention to Vanna.
"Young Jesse asked to be with you later." Allison said. "You were busy here with Cameron so I didn't mention it. I didn't want to exacerbate any issues already in play."
Vanna looked at the door to the private area. It was clear she wanted to leave right now. She stayed where she was. There was something else which seemed more important to her.
"As soon as Young Allison and Savannah are clear and OK, I'll do it." Vanna said.
Allison and Vanna watched the monitors with Jim. They were still attuned to Young Allison's operation. All they could do is watch.
Cameron hurried after Sheila. She was still worried something went wrong somewhere.
"Tell me what happened." Cameron said.
Sheila headed to the Honeymoon Suite.
"It's nothing bad." Sheila said. "I just want you to quietly check something."
Holly and Cam entered the private area from the Control Center. They hurried to catch up.
The four Metal girls entered the Honeymoon Suite.
John was asleep. He rolled over several times in each direction and then sat up. He looked around in the darkness. He felt he was alone.
He wondered where Cameron was at. He looked on both sides of him to make sure no one else was in his bed. They weren't.
He reached down and touched himself. He wasn't sure if he was ready to perform again or not. He was actually a little relieved there was no one there. He thought he needed to rest more.
He was tired and he was sleepy. He lay back down and soon was asleep again.
Mary felt someone bump into her. She opened her eyes. It was Laura. She was still asleep.
They'd left the light on in the bathroom so there was enough illumination to see everything with a little detail. She looked over at Laura and thought she looked beautiful. She gently reached over and touched one of her nipple rings. She looked down at her own breasts and touched both of them. She was very happy with her decision to get pierced and wished she'd done it a few years ago when she'd first thought about it. She laughed silently to herself. She'd actually first thought about it when she was in high school. In retrospect, she really wished she would have done it then.
She moved over some and put her head down on her pillow. She heard a thump from the suite next door. It was the one Leticia was in.
She'd been irritated with Leticia at first. Since she'd shared with her multiple times, she really liked her now. She was beautiful and she was Hot. She was better in bed than Laura. She looked over at Laura and touched one of her nipple rings again. She then pulled up the sheet. She silently slipped out of bed and went over to the connecting door to see what Leticia was up to and with whom. If she was alone, she was going to be with her again. She looked forward to the encounter.
She expected to see 'Sue' or maybe even 'Tony' in there. If 'Tony' was in there, she would give him a try. He seemed like a nice guy. He wasn't disrespectful to any of the girls. She could tell they'd all been with him before. It looked like he'd bagged a virgin while he was at it with 'Sue's' sister, 'Stephany'. She wasn't too young nor was she too old to not still be a teenager. She'd been about her age when she'd tried it a few times. It seemed it was over almost as soon as it started. It never really did 'anything' for her except hurt or give her discomfort. She was ready to try it again. She knew a lot more now how to please herself.
She looked in the suite bedroom and Leticia was with 'Lisa'. 'Lisa' really had a set of 'jugs' on her. She didn't smile much, but when she did, she was really pretty. She was good in bed. She delivered multiple times when they'd shared earlier.
She didn't want to disturb them. Leticia was being intensely pleasured by 'Lisa'. She figured 'Tony' was still plowing 'Stephany'. She couldn't blame him. Virgins were hard to come by anymore. Stephany was probably his first one….
Mary returned to her room. It was late anyway. She climbed under the sheet. She touched both of Laura's nipple rings and then covered both of them up back up. This was the best vacation of all time. She'd never been with such a fine selection of beautiful females ever, and all during the same few days.
She was just about asleep when there was another thud. Her eyes opened and slowly went close again. Maybe Laura and her should invite Leticia to live with them for a few months and see how it worked out. It was a suggestion to her by 'Sue'. Leticia needed a place to stay after the trouble with her partner. It would be nice to have Leticia around for a few weeks or even months. She fell back asleep. There was a smile on her face.
John Henry informed Young Allison the blue truck turned off the main highway. She looked at the drone image overlaid on a satellite map.
"Where are they headed?" Young Allison asked.
John Henry was unable to ascertain a destination.
"It's unknown at this time." John Henry said.
There was another issue which bothered her.
"What's Savannah's status?" Young Allison asked.
John Henry was very pleased with a reconnaissance mission conducted by 'Coltan Overcast'.
"It appears the enemy ambush was defeated." John Henry said. "A drone entered the jamming field and did a scan of everything and then flew out and broadcast all the images. It appears our troops were undamaged and the enemy force was terminated."
It was good news for her to hear. She knew things could have played out a lot differently. She realized Savannah's team had been very lucky on both of the ambushes they'd faced.
"I'm pleased to hear the news." Young Allison said. "What about the anti-Metal base?"
Anna rebooted.
John Henry quickly filled her in.
Anna wanted to know where the blue truck was going. It seemed like something should happen soon.
"Is there any probable destination for the blue truck?" Anna asked.
John Henry couldn't provide her with any more information than he was able to provide to Young Allison.
"I'm unable to make any determination." John Henry said.
Young Allison was still concerned about Savannah's location and probable destination. It was clear to her the drones around Savannah's team had expended a lot of ordnance.
"What about the anti-Metal base?" Young Allison asked again. "Will they have enough air support?"
John Henry didn't want them to worry.
"I think the US Navy is going to assist us with it." John Henry said.
Young Allison and Anna looked at each other. It seemed improbable.
"Savannah is miles inland." Anna said.
John Henry gave them a brief rundown on what the plan was.
Young Allison knew it wasn't John Henry's plan. She figured CamNet was behind it.
"Has CamNet asked for authorization to do it?" Young Allison asked.
She wondered if Savannah even knew about the plan. It didn't seem like it or her style.
"CamNet asked for verification when she was instructed to prepare for the mission." John Henry said.
Young Allison wasn't sure what was going to be what.
"Who instructed her?" Young Allison asked. "Did Cameron get involved?"
A familiar voice came over Young Allison's com.
"Hi, Allison. It was my plan." Summer said. "I called for it to conserve our resources tonight. I used the drones for the strike to shield Savannah and attack the enemy. Drone scans show I terminated most of them with my targeting information."
Young Allison and Anna looked at each other.
How was Summer involved this deep in everything? It was bound to glitch a few hands.
John Henry felt he needed to say something.
"She's correct." John Henry said. "She worked with CamNet and successfully targeted the enemy after we lost visual contact. It was quite amazing actually. I was very impressed with the results. She provided the targeting which did most of the terminations."
Young Allison was pleased to hear it. Summer was her personal project.
"It sounds like it. Congratulations, Summer, I'm proud of you." Young Allison said. "What about our target?"
Young Allison knew as proud as she was, and hopefully as proud as Cameron would be, it seemed unlikely her mother would be. She was sure when she found out it was going to be a problem. She was sure once her mother found out everything she'd been involved in, it would probably be an even bigger problem. Maybe it would be the way to handle the issue. If her mother found out about Summer first, she would let it slip out about her involvement and it would take her mother's mind off of Summer's involvement. Somehow it bothered her more than it did about her needing to face the enemy.
Cameron entered the Honeymoon Suite. Sheila held Cam and Holly back as Cameron went ahead. Camille came out of the bedroom area and indicated Cameron should enter the bedroom.
Young Jesse was on the bed. When she saw Cameron, she stood up.
Cameron looked at her naked figure. It was just like Sheila's. She thought it was beautiful. It was as flawless as Sheila's was too. Every smooth curve was as delicate as it was defined. It was very alluring to view.
Young Jesse held her arms open for Cameron to hug her.
Cameron was still unsure what was about to happen. She moved up and gave Young Jesse a hug. She felt beautiful in her arms. It made her want to use Sheila's chassis again so John could feel the same thing.
Young Jesse liked the way Cameron held her. She really wished they could share one time. Even though Camille was identical to Cameron as her clone, Cameron still felt different. It was her presence which was dominating. She felt Cameron scan her and then stiffen some. Cameron then held her tighter in her arms. Cameron kissed her cheek.
"Thank You." Cameron said. "It's what I've wanted for so long."
Young Jesse wanted to make sure Cameron understood her intentions. She also thought about the earlier discussion regarding Leticia. She wasn't going to bring it up directly. She was going to make a point.
"This one is for Jesse." Young Jesse said. "The next one is for you."
Young Jesse could feel Cameron hold her even tighter. She felt tears on her neck. It made her tear up too. It was a level of emotion and feeling she'd only felt from Savannah before. It was very moving to her. Camille might be a clone of Cameron, but she wasn't Cameron. This was the real Cameron. Now she could understand why the Metal girls all told her it was a better experience for them to have Cameron use their chassis to make love to John. Cameron was very much like a human female.
She'd just been with Allison in the last twenty minutes. What she felt now from Cameron was at least equal to Allison, if not greater emotion wise. Maybe Cameron really was a 'mechanical human' at this point. She was much more than a cyborg. It was what Savannah told her all along. She understood it now. It all made sense.
The Metal girls listened from the main part of the Honeymoon Suite.
"We need to give them privacy." Cam said.
Sheila wanted to stay and see what happened.
Camille said she was going outside. Cam followed her and so did Holly.
Sheila wondered what was going to happen next. She was sure after Cameron watched Leticia and her twice, she was going to share with Young Jesse now the same way.
She took one last look back and left.
"Don't listen either." Cam said.
Sheila was a little upset at the attention they focused on her.
"Everyone sacrifices for John Conner." The four Metal girls said as one.
They headed back towards the Control Center.
The two men watched as a black sedan drove through the open gate and pulled up outside the door. It was clear they were going to need to mix it up with the Syndicate soldiers.
The first man could see it wasn't the police.
"It looks like the Mob." The first man said.
The second man held his pistol ready.
"They must have tracked us here from the old supermarket." The second man said.
The first man wasn't sure how they tracked them.
"They could have had both places under surveillance." The first man said.
The black sedan screeched to a halt. Two men got out of it. They each held handguns. They looked towards the missing door on the building.
"Is this for real this time?" The first Thug asked. "It's probably just some more potheads."
The second Thug glanced over at him.
"They can't reach Luigi's or Mario's teams." The second Thug said. "You tell me."
The first Thug looked behind them.
"Where are Leonardo and Francesco?" The first Thug asked. "They should have been here before us."
The second Thug thought he spotted some movement.
"I think I saw something." The second Thug said.
The first Thug knew they had a job to do, one way or another.
"Let's go check it out." The first Thug said.
The two Thugs headed for the open door.
Moments ago:
The two Grays waited inside the door. They quickly discussed what to do while the two Thugs talked next to their car.
"As soon as they walk in the door, I want to 'cap' them." The first man said.
The second man wasn't sure he wanted to wait that long.
"I say we bring them down as soon as they start to walk away from the car." The second man said. "I don't want them to get too close. Right now we're behind concrete walls."
The first man couldn't hear everything the two Thugs said. It did sound like there were more of them on the way. Maybe it was best to take them now before reinforcements arrived. It would be easier to deal with fewer enemies at a time. He wanted to make sure their targets were clear.
"All right. Get ready then." The first man said. "As soon as they close the doors, or walk around them, we move. I'll take the one on the passenger side. You take the driver."
The two men were ready. The thugs left the doors open and moved around them. As soon as they did, the two men reached out from the opening and fired at them. Both of the Thugs fell. It sounded like one of them was still alive. He was making a lot of noise.
The second man wanted to finish things and get out of there.
"Come on, man, let's go." The second man said. "Let's shoot at both of them again and get back to the van."
The two men opened fire on the fallen figures. The sounds of agony stopped.
The first man didn't want to take any chances.
"Let's go out the front in case any more of them arrive." The first man said.
The two men hurried out of the front of the building and quickly returned to their van. They searched all around them as they made their move. They kept a special watch on the alley.
CamNet's Terminators turned around and walked away from the two Thugs. They both checked the drone images around them and at the lab as they headed back towards their SUV.
There was a 'whoosh' sound behind them as the gasoline vapor on the ground ignited from the smoking vehicle. In seconds they could hear some muted screams. Evidently one of the men hadn't quite terminated yet. It would happen soon enough.
Lena looked back and fired her silenced M9 one time. The agonizing screams ended. Both bodies continue to burn. Leonardo and Francesco wouldn't make it to the lab.
They checked the drone images around them. There were no additional targets. The drone made a pass over the lab where the other black sedan arrived. They watched as both of The Syndicate men fell to the ground. In seconds both of them were shot again. A short time later the two men emerged from the front of the building and returned to the white van.
"It appears the two men emerged unscathed from their encounter with the Syndicate." Lena said.
Tina didn't think they would fare so well later on.
"I think things will play out differently once I get them in my sights." Tina said.
The drone made a sweep around the white van. No other targets were detected. It returned to their location and made another sweep around them. They hadn't attracted any unnecessary attention either.
When the van quickly took off, they weren't sure what its next destination was going to be. It could be anything from the Palm Springs area to the port. If it looked like it was going to be the port, they would need to take action before they reached it. If it went to the Palm Springs area, it would take them even further away from the female Fanatic and the seven big rigs.
They were a little surprised at the turn of events with the female Fanatic. They'd turned around.
"Why do you think they're going back?" Lena asked.
Tina wasn't sure. They could only go by the drone images of the area.
"It appears they're going back to engage the two men in the truck." Tina said.
Lena was sure it was for more than to prevent further crimes by the two future Scavengers.
"I think they may be after something else." Lena said.
Tina remembered one of the men was in the back of the one truck briefly.
"Do you think the one man took something from the big rig trailer?" Tina asked.
Lena currently reviewed the drone images of the incident.
"I didn't see him with anything when he got out. He used both hands to pull down the door and secure it." Lena said. "He doesn't appear to be carrying anything."
Tina wondered if he got a look at the female Fanatic.
"Maybe the female Fanatic is worried about being identified." Tina said.
Lena wasn't so sure.
"They had several opportunities to engage the two men earlier." Lena said. "They chose to evade them each time."
The drone image widened out into a wider orbit. They could see three of the big rigs still traveling in the same direction. They could see the female Fanatic driving without her lights on back to where the pickup truck was pulled over. They could also see another vehicle approaching from the direction all of them had come from. It was a vehicle which had previously been in the service station when both the female Fanatic and the two men had been there.
CamNet's Terminators returned their attention back to their current operation.
If the white van looked like it was headed for the freeway. It might be headed for the port.
The female Fanatic started back towards the location where they'd last seen the truck. She wanted to take their truck as much as she wanted to confront them for their Scavenger like behavior.
Jill could feel her adrenaline level rise. She wanted some payback for what happened to her from the group of 'terrorists'. The men they were about to confront weren't much different.
"Are we going to kill them?" Jill asked.
The female Fanatic glanced over.
"Yes." The female Fanatic said. "They've been after us on more than one occasion."
Jill looked a little nervous. She'd never killed anyone before. Well, she wasn't sure if she did or not. She'd been in a few fights around some of the homeless camps before. She was the one who always walked away. She never checked on the condition of the fallen. What they were about to do was different.
"I want to kill one of them." Jill said. "I want them to pay for what they've done to others."
The female Fanatic wasn't sure Jill was up to it. It would be a way to test her. She believed Jill would be willing to serve SkyMaster. She was aware some of the cells were able to recruit new followers from various different cult groups. There were a lot of people out there willing to serve a new master. There was no reason it couldn't be SkyMaster.
"I can take care of it myself." The female Fanatic said. "You can remain in the car if you want. I won't leave you here. I won't ditch you either."
Jill thought about the two days of torment she'd spent tied to the bunk in the warehouse. The only time she'd been untied was when she was allowed to use the restroom twice a day.
"I want to go with you." Jill said. "I want justice to be served. I'm going to kill the men who abused me when we catch up to them. I might as well get started now. You said all I need to do is point the gun and pull the trigger."
The female Fanatic previously gave her one of the Berettas with a full magazine.
"The first time you pull the trigger, the pull is hard. The first round will be fired through double action." The female Fanatic said. "After the first shot, it requires very little pressure on the trigger to fire it. The weapon fires through single action until it runs out. The slide will lock open. It means you're out. Don't waste your ammunition and use it all at one time. Shot placement is the most critical part on any target. It doesn't matter if it's paper or human."
Jill was ready to step up. It was time to make her life count for something. She wasn't a piece of garbage people could use for their own sexual gratification at her expense and humiliation.
The female Fanatic spotted the pickup truck ahead where it pulled over. She immediately put the car into neutral and turned off the ignition. The power steering was a little tougher to turn, but not a major problem. She coasted over to the side of the road near some bushes. She could see some headlights in the distance coming towards her.
The two men in the pickup waited along the side of the road for the portly couple to appear. They'd already made plans about what they were going to do. It was the same thing they always did.
One of the men would occasionally look in the direction they'd been headed to see if there was any oncoming traffic. No headlights were spotted. Their primary focus was what was coming up from behind them.
"I see some headlights." The first man said.
The second man felt a rush of excitement and anticipation.
"The heavyset Bitch is in for a real eye opener." The second man said. "She's going to get it more times tonight than she probably gets in two months at home, if at all."
The first man was excited as well.
"Remember, I go first." The first man said. "I want her husband to see both of us take her first before we gut him. You can do what you want to him afterwards."
The second man felt an additional rush of euphoria.
"I can hardly wait." The second man said. "Just the thought of it almost made me finish."
The first man looked over in his direction and frowned.
"TMI, dude, keep it together." The first man said.
The two men from the pickup were ready to make their move and stop the vehicle. They didn't pay any attention to what was happening behind them. They were focused on the approaching headlights of the portly couple.
Sorry To Interrupt
Many things can factor in
When one is emotionally bankrupt
Daily life grinds to a halt
It's impossible to reconstruct
It seems to be made worse
When the ending is abrupt
As a heart starts to break
Anger will simmer and then erupt
It doesn't always mean
One's actions were corrupt
It was always slowly happening
If one takes the time to deduct
There are always many things
About the actions each conduct
It can be a moment to learn
It can be a moment to instruct
One needs to stand up
When it's time to disrupt
It's about right and wrong
Don't be sorry to interrupt
Nobody
