Chapter 1438

Best Honeymoon Ever

Earlier:

Cammy and Dan started down the drainage pipe. She'd wanted to check it before when they'd first found out the homeless men used it as a way to enter the compound of the port facility unobserved. It was exactly one week ago. They'd sealed it closed with several heavy pieces of metal.

She would've rather gone alone, but Savannah was going to come with her. Dan volunteered instead.

The journey was in darkness. They needed to rely on their Terminator vision as they made the passage.

Cammy spotted something in front of them.

"There's a feeder branch up ahead." Cammy said.

Dan wanted to verify what Cammy wanted to know.

"I'll check it." Dan said. "You just want to know how the men got into the system and if it is an easy in and out."

Cammy could see there would be more. She wanted to establish a rendezvous time.

"Yes." Cammy said. "There's another feeder branch up ahead off to the other side. I'll check it out and we'll meet back here in six minutes."

Dan didn't think it would be a problem.

"Affirmative…." Dan said.

Cammy watched Dan disappear off to the right. She continued ahead for another hundred feet and took a branch off to the left. Right away the branch she took was very narrow. She needed to crawl to pass after fifty feet. She was pretty sure it was going to be a dead end.

There was movement ahead of her. It was followed by some squeaking noises. There were rats ahead of her. She wished she still radiated her predator pheromones right now so they would all flee in terror. Currently she wasn't perceived as a threat.

She began to feel and then hear a thumping sound. Sometimes there were a group of them, other times there were a few in pairs. She soon realized it was vehicles passing over a manhole cover on a street above.

There was some faint light up ahead. It was probably from a curbside opening. The scurrying noise grew more intense and the level of squeaking increased as she neared. She tried her com but there was no signal.

Her olfactory sensors began to pick up a lot of foul readings. There was something up ahead which didn't smell well.

Cammy soon spotted a human corpse. It was covered with rats feasting on it. They would bite each other if one got too close to another when it was eating. It always produced a loud squeal among the squeaking noises. This way was a dead end for sure, in more ways than one. She would need to crawl over it to proceed. She didn't want to deal with the mess. There wasn't enough room for her to turn around so she needed to back out. She was able to turn around in the last fifty foot section. The route seemed too small for the men they'd detained to have used anyway.

She entered the main part of the passageway and looked for Dan. He was nowhere to be seen.

She waited two minutes. She was getting antsy. It seemed like it was too far for the men to have traversed. She'd expected to find an opening not too far from the compound. The scene with the rats troubled her. Who was the dead man? Who killed him? Why was he killed? It made her wonder if it was related to the port facility in some way. She needed to remember there were at least three groups of the enemy in play.

Savannah checked with John Henry several times to see if there was any news from Cammy. So far there was nothing. She knew she should stop asking him. He would contact her if there was any news. The darkness didn't help her mood any. She was blind right now unless she used her phone as a light.

Frank was silent the whole time. Savannah would normally be in a more talkative mood. She was tired, hungry and she was cold now too. The confined space bothered her as well. It was only the fact the exit was right above her which kept her from getting even uneasier.

The news they did receive from John Henry, didn't appear to be good news.

"There's an unknown drone over the compound." John Henry reported.

Savannah was pretty sure they weren't going out from the top now. It most likely meant she would need to traverse the drainage pipe.

"Beautiful…." Savannah said.

Cammy tried to dissuade her from coming there. Maybe she should have listened. No. It was the right choice. If they weren't there, someone else from the team would need to be.

"It's a pretty good indication there is at least one sniper around there." John Henry said. "The drone was launched locally. The man in the blue car is still on a wide orbit around the area."

Savannah would soon need to make a choice. The longer they waited, the grimmer the prospects seemed to grow. Even if it wasn't in reality, it was in her mind.

"I'll give Cammy a little longer and then we'll pull out from here." Savannah said. "I think there will be people on the ground here soon. There's no way to tell what they'll check."

John Henry wondered which group it would be. Time would tell.

"It's a possibility someone will show up." John Henry said.

The tank cars still bothered her.

The darkness and the confined space reminded her of the pipe they were stuck in at the mine. She'd really thought it was where she would die. She was with Cammy and Cameron so it seemed like a good way to go.

Anna and Young Allison spotted the drone at the same time.

"Where did it come from?" Young Allison asked.

Anna checked their drone images. It hadn't been there a few seconds ago.

"It must've been one of the buildings on the west side. It's where it's closest to." Anna said. "It was just launched."

Young Allison was sure someone was close by. She knew it was in relation to the Resistance team on the ground at the Port facility. It appeared someone wanted to know where they were at. There was a good chance a sniper would be involved. She wanted to draw first blood if it was possible.

"Have the drone that's there concentrate on the area." Young Allison said. "If the operator is spotted, I want to take him out."

Anna didn't want to get ahead of the game. She thought the Resistance team was well hidden currently. There was no need to tip their hand unnecessarily.

"If there's a sniper, they'll hide further from us if we act too soon." Anna said. "Their drone will spot nothing. Everyone is below ground and there is a large plate of metal over the opening they used to enter the system."

There was another issue Young Allison wanted to wrap up. She wanted to deal with the instigator as well. She was sure of where everything originated from.

"I'm ready to burn the guy in the car too." Young Allison said. "It's all his doing."

Anna knew Young Allison was tired and hungry. It seemed to cause her to anger more easily. She wanted Young Allison to think things through.

"Don't let your feelings drive you." Anna said. "This is where you need to shine."

Young Allison understood the advice. She'd let how she felt affect her decision making process. It was a test in itself. This test was the real deal. Maybe she was worried more about where Savannah currently was and what conditions she needed to face. They were a lot worse than hers.

"I understand." Young Allison said. "Thank you for explaining."

Anna checked to see where Mel and Randy were. They should be at the house in a short while.

Young Allison thought more about Savannah in the drainage system. She was even more tired, just as hungry and probably cold in the confined dark space. There were probably insects, rodents and reptiles lurking in there. It wasn't a pleasant thought.

It made her grind her teeth in anger. She wanted to take some action. It was exactly the same thing Cameron wanted to do on the ship earlier.

"I want some targets." Young Allison said.

Sheila and Ally knew where to intercept Mary, Laura and Leticia. They wanted to wait until they were finished in the main dining room. They didn't want to need to deal with any food issues. The girls would offer them something to eat if they went inside.

All of their belongings were previously moved into the two suites. It's where they would depart from. They would go there and collect their luggage and do the 'Walk Off' method. It was the fastest way to get off the ship. They wouldn't have to wait in the lines and search in the big rooms underneath the terminal for their luggage.

Jim told them the girls were on their way out of the main dining room.

They moved out from the lounge into the space between the elevator banks.

Sheila saw Leticia's face light up when she spotted her. It made her feel 'good' inside. Leticia was very happy to see her.

Mary and Laura were glad to see 'Sue' and 'Peggy' as well.

Ally wanted to know how things were going to play out. She looked at Mary.

"How will you get back to your place?" Ally asked.

Mary figured they could use a common method.

"We can call a ride share." Mary said.

Leticia was a little concerned about some of her other items at her previous residence.

"I still need to go by my old place and pick up a few things." Leticia said. "They weren't in my room at Tracy's place."

Sheila didn't like the idea. All of Leticia's things were already moved out of her room. CamNet sent a crew to do it. It happened before her former roommate Tracy got back.

The girls headed up the elevator back to their suites. Sheila and Ally talked over some more things with them.

All three of them got their suitcase and carry on luggage ready to go. They'd already thanked everyone for all the things they did for them and provided them with.

Sheila and Ally went down with them to deck seven where they would do the 'Walk Off'. There was already a line there. Ally and Sheila both kissed all three girls and bid them farewell.

They watched the girls walk off the ship.

Ally wanted to remind Sheila of how things needed to be.

"And they walked out of our lives forever…." Ally said.

Sheila wasn't in the mood for games. She moved up to the window and looked out as the three girls moved down the ramp.

Ally could see Sheila was in deep. She cared too much about the girls, especially Leticia. She wanted to remind Sheila about the realities of their lifestyle.

"You don't look so hot." Ally said. "You need to let them go."

Sheila looked at Ally and headed for the stairway. She didn't say anything.

Ally never saw Sheila act like this before. She was really sad. She hurried after her.

They didn't talk all the way to the private area. Sheila gave Ally a faint smile and went into her little room and closed the door.

Ally was left standing outside. She could hear Sheila crying inside. It gave her 'heart' a stab to know Sheila was in pain. It was the worst kind too. It was 'emotional' pain. She felt she needed to say something. She wanted to reassure Sheila of what she did have. It was her.

"I'm out here if you need me, Sheila." Ally said. "Take your time. You know I care."

Ally sat on the floor with her back to the wall next to Sheila's door. The tears in her eyes were for Sheila.

Breakfast went without any problems in the commissary.

Once everyone was done, Summer and Jan volunteered to clean up the dishes.

Derek and Riley left with Samantha and Precious. Kyle and Sarah followed them out. Sarah took one quick look back at Claire before she disappeared around the corner.

Claire was going to work with Jan after everything was cleaned up.

Jesse said she would check the wash and see how everything was doing. Claire told Jan she'd meet her in the rec room in fifteen minutes and followed Jesse to check the wash.

Jan and Summer cleaned everything up and put everything away.

"I still have a few minutes." Jan said. "We can stop by and see John Henry before I go."

It was where Summer was headed anyway. She was aware of the situation at the port.

"I think we can check it out." Summer said.

The girls left the commissary.

Allison and Vanna finished up one more time. They needed to rest for a few minutes. They looked over at John and Young Jesse next to them.

They could see and hear how much Young Jesse enjoyed what she'd shared with John. They could tell she was almost there. She finished a few seconds later and so did John. It was clear he'd waited until she made it to give her the best experience.

John rolled over off of Young Jesse and was next to Allison again. Vanna sat up next to her.

John looked at Allison and Vanna and then back at Young Jesse.

The three girls all loved John and he loved them. They all knew the 'rules'.

Allison and Vanna both wanted what Young Jesse just experienced. They knew John was 'down for the count' right now.

Vanna was pleased at what she'd shared. It helped free her from some of the demons which haunted her daily. She really wanted to explore a little more.

"Where does this go from here?" Vanna asked. "There's no turning back."

John was ready for more. He didn't think it was his choice.

"I don't know." John said. "We all need to thank Cameron for allowing what we shared. She'll determine what happens going forward. I think we all know it."

They all agreed it was time to find their Metal lovers. They might want to share one last time on the ship before they'd get off. To 'get off' one more time seemed like a good way to get off. It seemed like a fitting end.

Vanna and Allison would wait in the Master Suite for Cam and Holly to return.

Young Jesse put a robe on and left to go back to the Honeymoon suite.

John put on a robe and headed back through the smaller room into the Control Center. Jim just finished putting the last of the equipment away. He continued into the Owner's Suite.

Dan followed his branch of the drainage system. There were mostly small tributaries that were only a foot in diameter which connected to it. He found a manhole opening and went up the ladder. There were cars driving above him.

The good news was, he was able to communicate with John Henry. He was filled in on all the details. He was told Frank and Savannah would start through the passageway to join them.

Dan signed out and hurried back to tell Cammy the news.

Cammy was about to move ahead when she heard Dan hurrying back. At least she hoped it was Dan.

She watched him come out of the side passageway.

Dan quickly filled her in.

Cammy was concerned about the new threat. She wondered what the quickest way out of the system was.

"Can we get out the way you went?" Cammy asked.

Dan knew they could get out. He wasn't sure how safe it would be.

"Yes. There was a manhole in the street." Dan said. "Cars were driving over it. We would need to be very careful."

Cammy didn't want to risk it for Savannah.

She told him what was at the end of her passageway.

"Do you want to wait here?" Dan asked.

Cammy wanted to get Savannah to a safer area.

"No." Cammy said. "I want a better way out for Savannah. I'm going to continue on."

Dan would accompany her to the next branch.

Young Allison was surprised when Mel entered the bunker. She could see, and then smell, what he was carrying. She looked at Anna and then turned her attention back to Mel.

"What do you have?" Young Allison asked.

Mel wanted to keep things simple.

"We picked up a few items for you on the way back." Mel said. "We wanted to make sure your nutritional needs were met."

Young Allison looked over at Anna. She knew it was her doing.

Anna smiled and shrugged her shoulders.

Young Allison turned back to Mel.

"Thank you." Young Allison said as she touched his cheek.

Mel smiled and left.

She looked over at Anna. She didn't think any of it was necessary.

"We're right in the middle of an operation." Young Allison said.

Anna smiled. She knew how to play the game.

"Think of it as a test." Anna said. "You like to do more than one thing at a time."

Young Allison could see her logic. She could obviously chew and think at the same time.

"You're a sneaky one." Young Allison said.

Anna looked over at the bags of food.

"Thank you." Anna said. "What did they get you?"

Young Allison looked at the food. She was pleased with the selection.

"There's an order of biscuits and gravy, a side of hash brown sticks, a small container of 'fruit cocktail' and a carton of cranberry juice." Young Allison said. "It all smells really good."

Anna didn't see any reason to delay. Things would probably only pick up as time went on at the port.

"You might as well get started." Anna said.

They heard the transmission from Dan a few minutes later and Savannah responded they were moving out.

The small drone flew by the compound several times and then flew by the van. It landed next to it behind some bushes.

Anna thought about why it didn't return to wherever it was launched from.

"I think they landed it there so we can't track it back to where it came from." Anna said.

Young Allison figured it was going to get more sinister.

"It may be so." Young Allison said. "Someone is going to booby trap the van next and take the drone with them."

She also considered the possibility it might be 'command detonated' if it carried some type of explosives. It would most likely be done if anyone returned to the van.

Anna watched Young Allison finish a hash brown stick after she dipped it in the gravy for the biscuits. She wiped her hands on a napkin and typed in some commands to CamNet.

"I see you're going to force the issue." Anna said.

Young Allison wanted the port compound dealt with.

"I want some action." Young Allison said. "It's time we send a message."

Frank moved around Savannah again in the tight confines of the passageway.

Savannah wanted to get started.

"You lead and I'll follow you." Savannah said. "We know they're ahead of us and where."

Frank wanted Savannah to use her light.

"We're not expecting hostile action so make sure you can see." Frank said. "Don't bump your head."

Savannah wanted to get moving.

"I'll take care of it." Savannah said. "Let's get out of here."

Savannah wanted to get into a larger passageway. She was glad she was there with Frank instead of Cammy. It made it less like the pipe at the mine. At least this passageway led somewhere.

Young Jesse left the Master Suite and entered the private area. She was on her way back to the Honeymoon suite and Camille. She didn't know Camille was in the Owner's Suite with the rest of the Metal girls. She spotted Ally right away.

"What's wrong?" Young Jesse asked.

Ally got up and came over to her.

"Sheila's having a bad moment." Ally whispered. "She wanted to be alone."

It didn't sound like Sheila to Young Jesse.

"Maybe I can help her." Young Jesse said.

Young Jesse moved towards the door.

Ally was very worried about Sheila.

"Please leave if she asks you too." Ally said. "Don't force it."

Young Jesse nodded.

She knocked on the door and entered. She closed the door behind her.

Ally sat back on the floor next to the door.

John entered the main part of the Owner's Suite.

Cameron was in the whirlpool tub with the Metal girls.

"I think John is back." Cameron said.

She noticed a look of relief on the faces of Holly, Cam and Camille. It meant their human girlfriends were 'free'.

"Let me check." Cameron said.

Cameron got out of the bubble bath. She was covered with bubbles. She grabbed a towel and wiped most of them off. She didn't want to make a mess on the floor. They would need to clean it up later on.

She spotted John when he spotted her.

They embraced and kissed. She made a point to touch 'Little Willie'. She was pleased there were traces of Vanna, Allison, and mostly Young Jesse. There were similar traces on his lips. They were on her lips and on her hand now. She wanted John to know how pleased she was.

"It's the best honeymoon ever." Cameron whispered.

She removed John's bathroom. She led John by the hand into the bathroom. She expected the Metal girls to still be in the tub. They were all lined up in a row. They'd already wiped the bubbles off of their sheaths. It did afford another good unobstructed view of them. Everything was clearly visible and prominent. It looked like they were about to leave.

John was a little on the embarrassed side. He stood there naked with Cameron, who was also naked. They faced Holly, Cam, Gail, Camille and Hanna who were all naked as well.

Cameron noticed his eyes returned to Holly most often and Hanna second.

"We were going to leave and give you two some privacy." Hanna said.

The Metal girls started to turn to leave.

"Wait." Cameron said. "You can all give John a hug before you go."

Hanna was the closest. She stepped forward and placed John's hands on her breasts and gave him a hug.

"I want my one time alone." Hanna whispered.

John thanked her for what she'd allowed and 'gave up'.

She moved over in front of Cameron and did the same exact thing. She placed Cameron's hands on her breasts and gave her a hug.

"I want my one time alone with John, or you in his place." Hanna whispered. "Remember, Savannah feels just like this, take her before you lose her. You can't make her wait forever."

Cameron and Hanna looked into each other's eyes. Hanna backed away and Cameron slowly released her breasts.

Cameron thanked her for what she allowed and sacrificed for John and her.

Each of the Metal girls did and said the same exact thing.

They all exited into the private area.

"It just leaves us." Cameron said.

John knew he wasn't ready for anything yet.

"We could go back in the hot tub." John said.

He took a step in its direction.

"Wait." Cameron said. "We're done there."

She didn't want any of the three girls' essence 'washed off' of John. She intended to further analyze the residual traces the girls left on John. It would be through touch and oral examination.

She led John into the bedroom.

"You can rest or we can cuddle." Cameron said.

It sounded good to John. He wanted a break. She didn't think he was going to be able to finish the second time with Young Jesse. He only needed to remind himself he may never get the opportunity again. It was what drove him over the top.

Cameron picked him up and gave him a deep kiss.

She set him on the sheet and curled up with him. She would give John fifteen minutes to 'rest' and she would get him started up again for the grand finale on the ship. She looked forward to what awaited her when she started. It would give her a taste of her future which awaited her.

The 'warning' about Savannah troubled her. They needed to consummate their love. John was able to do it many times over with three of the human girls. She should be able to do it with one.

She also needed to remember he didn't insist on being with Mary, Laura, or Leticia. She knew he wanted to, but he didn't force the issue. She thought it showed good restraint on his part. It made her think how close she'd been to sharing with Leticia again. She really needed to be with Savannah

Young Jesse entered Sheila's small room. She could see there were still tears in Sheila's eyes.

She went over to her and gave her a hug.

Sheila was very pleased to see Young Jesse.

They talked for a bit but Sheila didn't say what was wrong. Once Young Jesse said where she had just been, Sheila perked up. Things took a turn for the better for her. She asked Young Jesse to 'lie down' for a little while.

Young Jesse didn't want to feel like she was an intruder. She could see how concerned Ally had been about Sheila. She understood the feeling.

"I will, but Ally is waiting for you." Young Jesse said. "She cares about you deeply."

Maybe it was what Sheila needed to hear. She opened up the door as Ally stood. They embraced.

"Thank you." Sheila said.

They dried each other's tears.

Young Jesse joined them.

"This room is kind of small." Young Jesse said. "I have a lot of room in my suite."

The three of them looked at each other and headed for the Honeymoon suite. Everyone got what they wanted before Camille arrived, especially Sheila.

Holly and Cam headed for the Master Suite. They would share with Vanna and Allison one more time before they got ready to leave.

Camille headed for the Honeymoon Suite. She didn't know Sheila and Ally were in there with Young Jesse.

Gail and Hanna looked at each other. It was clear they would be able to share with each other.

At that moment, Jim exited the Control Center and headed for the supply room. He was going to start to make up the rooms which weren't being used.

Gail wanted to help out.

"I want to assist Jim." Gail said.

Hanna felt it was the right thing to do.

"I will too." Hanna said.

Jim smiled at them.

"Thank you." Jim said.

Jim looked at both of their unclad figures.

They both noticed and figured it didn't hurt anything to work naked.

"We can do the three spare bedrooms first in each of the large suites here. We can get dressed when we do the two suites down the hall." Hanna said. "We can always undress once we're there."

Jim smiled at them again. He liked the view, even if he couldn't touch.

"Thank you." Jim said. "I appreciate it."

Hanna didn't think there was any substitute for the real thing. Live action always beat a transmitted image.

"It sure beats looking at video files." Hanna said. "We have some cameras to collect while we're at it."

Jim quickly looked at Hanna and Gail and all three of them laughed. He thought Gail looked very pretty when she smiled.

Anna could see Young Allison switch to some different screens.

"What are you doing now?" Anna asked.

Young Allison looked over as she finished her last hash brown stick.

"I'm multitasking." Young Allison said as she chewed.

Anna was aware Young Allison actually checked the video logs on the ship.

"You seem a little less cranky." Anna said.

Young Allison didn't like the reference. She figured she might just as well spell it out. She knew what they were going to call her going forward.

"I'm never cranky." Young Allison said. "I'm just a Bitch."

Young Allison saw what went down on the ship and what she saw with Sheila bothered her. She could see she was deeply touched. She sent a suggestion to CamNet.

She refocused back on the port area as she finished off the last of the biscuits and gravy.

Anna was a little disturbed with Young Allison's earlier reference about herself. It wasn't how she saw it at all.

"I would rather think of you as cranky." Anna said. "I don't want you to be a Bitch. I don't want to be one either."

Young Allison smiled at Anna.

"I guess there are plenty of others who fit the bill for the last one." Young Allison said. "We love them all just the same."

Anna was pleased at the new information she received. She was also wary of what might happen around where the van was parked.

"I'm watching for one or two individuals to approach the van." Anna said. "The other drones are arriving and CamNet has them all in overlapping counter rotating orbits to see if we can track where they come from."

There were two things Young Allison really wanted.

"I want the sniper and the man in the blue car." Young Allison said.

Anna was updated by CamNet on several things. It was clear the sniper was the biggest threat. The man in the blue car was just icing on the cake at some point.

"We need to let it play out." Anna said. "If the sniper is spotted, CamNet will act. Remember, it's still speculation, even if highly probable."

Summer and Jan stopped by the Command Center.

John Henry kept an eye out for them. They arrived through the front door.

They both greeted John Henry as Summer went to work.

Jan looked at some of the screens. She recognized the location.

"Is it the ship?" Jan asked. "It looks like the inside."

Summer was a little disturbed at some of the things she'd viewed.

"It is." Summer said. "I'm just catching up."

She sent CamNet a message about Sheila. She was bothered by her distress.

Summer caught up on the port facility as well. She didn't like the recent turn of events. The enemy was looking for them.

"We need Savannah's team out of the drainage system." Summer said.

Jan thought it seemed like an odd place for them to be.

"Why are they in there?" Jan asked.

Summer glanced at John Henry and he started to fill Jan in. He could see Summer wanted to do something else. He wasn't sure what it was. It was done directly with CamNet.

Bob made sure all the gear was ready to offload when the team left. They would all leave via the employee and VIP exit. Jim informed him it would be in about one and a half, to two hours from now.

Savannah turned on her light and followed directly behind Frank. They needed to crawl at first until they reached a larger chamber. They were able to stand at that point. She felt very relieved. The feeling of dread about being in the narrow pipe was gone. She pictured being trapped in there as flammable liquid from the ruptured tank cars flooded the drainage system and caught fire. Maybe it was an omen.

Frank was pleased to report on the lack of any other creatures being encountered.

"The insects were all terminated by Cammy and Dan." Frank said. "There were no rodents or reptiles. My predator pheromones most likely scared them off."

It was good news for Savannah. She felt a little more cheerful now.

"I guess I better not take you to the pet store afterwards then." Savannah said.

Frank tilted his head slightly.

"I don't wish to cause distress to the small animals there." Frank said.

Savannah smiled. She just needed to love Terminators. She needed to be focused on the task at hand.

"How far behind Cammy and Dan are we?" Savannah asked.

He could only go by his last report from John Henry when Dan was able to communicate with him.

"I'm not sure." Frank said. "Dan said Cammy wanted to find an easy way out for you."

Savannah knew they needed to go back to the outside of the compound once they were out. There was clearly unfinished business there for them. It was most likely in the buildings on the west side.

"We need to see if we can put the grab on the sniper or drone operator." Savannah said. "We'll need to come in from the backside of those buildings they may be in."

Frank hoped there would be a drone strike before it happened. It seemed like it would be less dangerous for Savannah. The enemy was there to hunt them. It didn't matter if they thought it was one of the other groups involved. They were still a threat.

Cameron was aware John dozed off.

She received a message on her com from CamNet. It was to CamNet by Young Allison about Sheila.

CamNet didn't mention Summer addressed the issue as well. She didn't want any questions about her level of involvement with Summer. Everything I was on a very professional level. She made sure she didn't overstep. She understood she'd taken things a little too far with Young Allison, especially when there was no way for them to play out. Savannah fixed all of it.

Cameron slipped out of bed and exited the Owner's Suite and headed for the Honeymoon Suite. She entered and found Camille and Ally sharing while Sheila shared with Young Jesse.

Ally and Camille finished up.

"Is everything OK?" Ally asked.

Cameron got straight to the point without any specifics.

"Yes." Cameron said. "When Sheila is finished in there, she can have the rest of the day off."

Ally and Camille looked at each other. A day off was something different. She understood what it was in reference to.

"I'll tell her." Ally said. "Thank you, Cameron."

She wanted them to know where the idea originated from. She felt it was important. It showed how the 'Chosen Ones' looked out for all of them in various ways.

"Thank Young Allison." Cameron said. "She's the one who made the call."

Camille wasn't surprised. She'd been given a similar directive. She hadn't acted on it yet.

"Young Jesse wanted it done as well." Camille said. "She told me to call it in. I didn't do it yet."

Cameron frowned. Based upon the importance Young Allison expressed, she felt Camille should have acted sooner.

"Next time don't wait." Cameron said. "The girls care about all of the Resistance team. Don't forget it. Their input is sought and valued. They know when certain things need to be done, even if we don't."

Camille felt she would need to apologize to Young Jesse for her neglect.

"It won't happen again." Camille said. "Thank you for explaining."

Ally looked over at the main bedroom.

Cameron could tell Ally wanted to go with Sheila. She thought of the best way to phrase her response.

"I don't want Sheila to get into any trouble." Cameron said as she looked at Ally. "I want you to assist her."

A giant smile blossomed on Ally's face. She wanted to express her gratitude for several things.

"Thank you, Cameron." Ally said. "I thank you and John for everything too."

Cameron was still a little concerned about what she'd taken from the Metal girls. She wanted to keep all of her options open.

"One hand washes the other." Cameron said.

Camille thanked her again as well before she left.

Cameron returned to the Owner's Suite. She was very pleased about the trip so far. This was the best honeymoon ever for everyone. There was a new feeling of contentment she felt. She actually felt at peace with herself for once. She really hoped if she was living her life over, all these things and events happened every time….

How could anything be more beautiful than what she'd experienced on the best honeymoon ever? She felt it apply to her as well as John. She been able to do so many of the things she wanted done.

The female Fanatic could feel how loose the debris was under her as she started over it. More debris seemed to fall from the side as she continued along. There was more than she'd anticipated. She kept moving forward.

It didn't take her long to get over the pile of fallen debris. She looked back once she was on the other side. She could see Jill was right there. She hadn't moved away at all. She stayed where she'd been. She realized if the side would have caved in more, Jill would have tried to get her out. It didn't matter if she told her earlier not to. She could see Jill was a survivor. She believed Jill would serve SkyMaster to her fullest ability.

Jill watched Jackie go over the debris. She saw a few small rocks come down as she passed by. It didn't look too bad. She was ready to join her.

"Do you want me to come across now?" Jill asked.

The female Fanatic didn't know how safe it was.

"I'm unsure of the stability." The female Fanatic said.

Jill didn't want to be left behind.

"Leave your light on for me." Jill said. "I'm coming across."

Jill climbed up onto the debris. She could feel how unstable it was as she moved across. More rocks fell as she passed. Luckily none of them hit her. She thought some of them could have hurt her. In just a short time, she was to the other side.

The female Fanatic watched Jill make the passage. She was glad none of the rocks which fell hit her. There was a lot of dust coming up from behind her. She reached over and took her hand and pulled her along. She hoped there wouldn't be a bigger cave in while they were there. It was a real possibility.

Jill was a little surprised when Jackie took her hand and quickly moved her along. It was clear there was a bond between them. It was more than the bond of survival. Right now, it was about survival.

The female Fanatic was a little surprised when Jill dusted her off some. She dusted off Jill in return.

"Let's see where this passageway goes." The female Fanatic said. "I hope we don't have to come back this way."

Jill looked in back of her from the direction they'd come. She understood what Jackie meant. The opening looked like it was about fifty percent smaller now. It would be much more challenging to go through the next time. She wondered if more than one of them would make it before it closed up.

"Let's see where this path takes us." Jill said. "Those men need to account for what they did. It doesn't matter if they're terrorists are not. They need to be held accountable for what they did to those two females."

The female Fanatic thought about when she'd been captured at the other hillside facility a few days ago. She came to when she was already inside. She knew what would have happened to her in probably a few more minutes.

"It's the kind of animals they are." The female Fanatic said. "They're all the same."

They continued down the passageway. There were more rocks scattered along the ground where they currently were since the caved in area. There was a definite bulge in the walls in several locations. They could even see the wooden supports were cracked.

The female Fanatic touched the wall at one spot. She could feel it vibrate. She was afraid it was about to collapse. It didn't. She warned Jill.

"I can feel vibrations." The female Fanatic said. "This area is unstable."

Jill touched the wall where Jackie indicated. She could feel it too.

"What is it?" Jill asked. "What's causing it?"

The female Fanatic could only think of one thing.

"I think there's something happening above us." The female Fanatic said. "It might be the big rigs or it could be more of the HK equipment moving around. I don't know."

Jill wondered if they were underneath where they'd been earlier. She thought it might make sense since the men would probably have dumped the bodies in the closest spot possible. They didn't even take the time to bury them outside.

The female Fanatic wondered exactly where they were in the mine. If it wasn't the area where they come in at, they could be at an area where they were doing some type of additional work.

The only reason she could think they would need to do additional work, was to create a new hiding place for Skynet. The idea repulsed her. Skynet was a false idol.

She decided to pick up the pace a little. There'd been a few small caverns along the side of the passageway they were in. Most of them were full of rocks and dirt. It appeared they didn't find whatever they were looking for when they'd created them. They'd left most of the rubble behind.

They were soon at another larger cavern. There was another shaft in the center of it. Unfortunately there was no rope hanging down. They couldn't tell how far up the shaft went or if it was covered or not. Their lights wouldn't illuminate it up to the top.

There were two other passageways which led out of the cavern.

The female Fanatic touched the walls around the cavern to see if she could feel any more vibrations. She couldn't. The only thing they could do was continue.

"We have two choices." The female Fanatics said. "Well, I guess it's three really if we went back the way we came. I hope we don't need to."

Jill didn't know what they would need to do. She would let Jackie decide what she wanted to do.

"You lead and I'll follow." Jill said.

The female Fanatic shined her light down each of the passageways. There was no indication of one being different from the other.

"Let's take the left one." The female Fanatic said. "Someone spent a lot of time down here making all of this stuff years ago. It was probably more than a hundred years ago. Let's see what we can find."

The female Fanatic and Jill headed down the left branch. They really hope it wasn't a dead end.

The two men got back in the van and headed for the Aerial Tramway. They would ride the cable car up to the top and then hike up to the communications array. They still had some time to kill before the tramway opened.

They drove through the main part of Palm Springs. They spotted a diner up ahead.

"Do you want to get some grub or rest?" The first man asked.

The second man wanted to rest.

"Let's just go to a fast food joint." The second man said. "We can use the restroom and get something to go."

They passed by a Burger Queen, and a Dairy King. They stopped at a Clown In The Box up ahead.

"You think they would come up with a better name for this place." The first man said. "I like the 'secret sauce' they put on everything."

The second man would rather have stopped at the Yellow Arches. It didn't really matter. Food was food. He was more interested in using the restroom right now.

They parked out in the front lot and went inside. They both used the restroom. The first man could see the second man was going to need to take a little longer since he'd entered a stall.

"Tell me what you want and I'll order everything." The first man said.

The second man didn't really care.

"Just order two of everything you're going to get." The second man said. "I'm going to need a few more minutes here."

The first man went out and placed the order. By the time the food was ready, the second man arrived.

Neither man washed their hands after they took care of business in the restroom.

They returned to the van and drove off. They neared the location for the turnoff to the Aerial Tramway in a few minutes. They spotted one of the old cable cars along the side of the entrance. It acted as an advertisement. They were pleased to see the gate was open. They would need to drive uphill for quite a ways until they reached the lower station.

The second man took out his phone and tried it again as they began to gain elevation. He hoped he could get some type of signal.

The first man noticed what he was doing. He doubted it would work.

"I asked the fast food workers if any of them had a working phone." The first man said. "None of theirs worked. There was a landline in the office. It didn't work either."

The second man wondered at what point their phones didn't work.

"Did they work before we arrived?" The second man asked.

The first man laughed. It was something he'd checked on.

"Actually they did." The first man said. "I asked them. One of them was on the phone about five minutes before we arrived. They said the line just went dead."

The second man thought about it.

"It looks like we have a one or two mile 'dead zone' around us wherever we go." The second man said. "I'm pretty sure we do have a supercomputer tracking us."

Since it was daylight for several hours now, they didn't think it was an HK drone. They didn't know the Resistance drones were specifically modified to operate up to, and above, fifty thousand feet in altitude. HK drones never operated at such a high altitude in the future. They didn't need to since they owned the sky.

"It doesn't look like it wants us dead yet." The first man said.

The second man wondered how long it would be until it did.

"I wonder what it's waiting for." The second man said.

The first man didn't have an answer. He was tired.

They continued up the twisty road past several layers of parking. They were able to drive right up to the parking lot below the station. There were several cars in the parking lot already. Most likely they belonged to the employees. There was also overnight camping and hiking allowed. They could belong to some of those individuals as well. They still had several hours until it would open. They could see the cable going up the side of the hill in front of them. They could see the little header station up at the top.

The first man chose to lie down in the back of the white van. The second man remained in his seat and leaned it back. They were both soon asleep.

Lena and Tina closed up on the men as they passed through Palm Springs. They didn't want them to leave the vehicle and disappear somewhere on foot. They currently only had one drone with them.

They watched the men inspect the area of the old packing plant and move on. They weren't surprised when they watched them stop for some food. The drone over them was set up to do a gravity shot from the minigun if the men separated into different directions. If they did, 'metal hail' would have rained down on one of them. The other would have been targeted with a missile.

The white van headed in the direction of the turn off to the cable car.

"I think they're going to go to the Aerial Tramway next." Lena said.

Tina thought they should arrive first.

"Let's get up there ahead of them." Tina said. "We can always come back down if they don't go up."

Previously they'd been behind the men. Since they'd turned around to come back from the location of the old packing sheds, they were in front of them. They were still in front of them as they headed towards the Aerial Tramway. They took the turn off and went up the mountain road.

They parked among some of the other vehicles already there. The drone footage showed the van took the turn off before they reached their destination and parked. They watched as the van arrived five minutes later. No one got out of it. They figured the men were going to rest.

CamNet's Terminators could only wait. They still had several hours to kill. If the men paid any attention to vehicles which arrived after them, theirs wouldn't be among them.

Best Honeymoon Ever

What is the final path
Of any new endeavor
Does it really matter
Will anyone take whomever

Things might start off slowly
They may soon boil like a fever
Don't try to alter or over think it
There's no need to be clever

Show some foresight with goals
Learn to never say never
Don't develop a negative attitude
And just say whatever

Try to stay as the main dish
Don't end up as another leftover
Give more than is taken
Proof belongs to those who deliver

The final goal and destination
For any true lover
Is to share forever
And have the best honeymoon ever

Nobody
