Chapter 1445
Business
John Henry provided John with a condensed briefing. It was a rough overview. He didn't get into any details and he didn't mention the part Young Allison played in the field. He only commented about her 'outstanding job'. He downplayed Summer's role as well.
He turned his attention to the two vehicles they were tracking.
John noticed one vehicle took a side road. It immediately sent up a few red flags for him.
"Where does the road go they just took?" John asked.
There was a satellite overlay map in front of him now.
"It's basically the road to nowhere." John Henry said. "It's an old road left over from some of the previous land owners who were there."
John wanted to know a little more. He thought it might make a difference.
"Who owns the land now?" John asked.
John Henry couldn't point the finger at any specific individual.
"It's controlled by one of the land development companies." John Henry said. "They own hundreds of similar parcels. It's doubtful they know what's happening on all of the land they own at any given time."
Cameron watched but remained silent. She wanted to see John get back up to speed. He seemed to gain his footing quickly.
John was now aware of the ambushes which were pulled on the team before. They were all at night. This was the middle of the day. He learned there were several new tactics developed and used in his absence.
"I know the drones can't detect any heat signatures on the ground from the altitude they're at." John said. "Does anything where they're at look like an ambush site?"
John Henry looked as did Cameron.
"I can't tell." John Henry said.
John Henry wanted to call for Summer to assist them but Claire was on the move around the hallways. It looked like she was headed for Jesse's room.
Vanna and Allison exited Riley's room. They parted and Vanna went back towards her room while Allison headed towards the commissary.
Claire headed for Jesse's room. She wanted to have a 'three way' with Jesse and Young Jesse. She wanted to see what was keeping Jesse without disturbing her. She spotted Vanna and Allison part ways. She passed by Jesse's room. The door was closed. She decided not to knock or bother her. The door was seldom closed so maybe she was with someone.
She headed for Vanna instead. With Allison away, Vanna would most likely want to share with her.
Vanna and Allison exited Riley's room.
Allison wanted to take care of a few things.
"I want to speak with Cameron." Allison said.
Vanna knew where she was at.
"Samantha said Cameron was in the Command Center." Vanna said.
Allison wanted to speak with Cameron alone. She didn't want to say it to Vanna. She wanted to find some way to phrase it. She wasn't quite sure how.
Vanna was just about to suggest she could go with her when she spotted Claire by Jesse's room. It caught her attention.
"I'm going to stop by our room real quick." Vanna said.
Allison was glad to hear it. She hadn't spotted her mother. If she would have, she would have known what Vanna was really after. She was just glad it didn't need to get awkward.
"It's fine." Allison said. "I should be back there in a little bit."
The two girls split.
They each had their own personal mission they wanted to carry out.
Allison thought about what she wanted to say to Cameron. She wanted to speak privately. She wanted to talk about Samantha.
She looked back and Vanna was already gone. She passed by the commissary and saw it was empty. She didn't want to speak to Cameron in front of John or John Henry. She felt the subject matter was much too personal. She went inside the commissary and called Cameron instead.
Vanna thought about a 'three way' with Jesse and Claire. She looked back and Allison was gone. She didn't like sharing openly with Claire in front of Allison. Allison previously told her it was fine. Allison said all of the girls needed loving and her mother was no different. She passed her room and met Claire.
"You look lost." Vanna said.
Claire was very pleased to see Vanna. She was even more pleased she was alone.
"Since I've found you, I'm not." Claire said.
They gave each other a kiss.
"Allison is going to be busy for a little bit." Vanna said. "If you have time, we could knock off a quickie."
Claire looked back at Jesse's closed door.
"I think I can spare a few minutes." Claire said.
Vanna led Claire into her room.
Sarah finished cleaning the rooms in her quarters.
Kyle and Derek went to the shooting range earlier. She gave Kyle a call and found out they were going to be busy for another hour.
She headed out of her room. Jan and Summer were working together. She passed by the rec room and said hello to them. They looked busy.
Sarah went back into the hall. She felt a yearning inside of her. She felt the call of desire. She looked both ways and headed for Claire's room.
She reached the door. She thought about knocking but didn't. She tried it. It was unlocked.
She looked around again both ways and slipped inside. The room was dark but she could see 'Claire' on her bed. It looked like she was resting. She moved up to the bed. Her eyes weren't adjusted to the darkness yet. The dim light from the nightlight in the bathroom barely provided any illumination.
It sounded like 'Claire' was asleep. She could see she was naked. She decided to give 'Claire' a surprise. She went back to the door and looked out and down the hall. She closed the door and locked it. Her night vision was disrupted when she looked out into the hall again. She quickly stripped out of her clothes.
She made her way to the bed. She got on it with only a little bit of movement. 'Claire' stirred a little. She moved into position and bent down. She hoped it was going to be a pleasant surprise for 'Claire'. She was highly aroused now about the clandestine hook up. It was a thrill to do it. It was just like when she was in high school and was with one of her female friends in her room. It made it a little more exciting with her parents outside in another room. They could be 'caught' at any moment.
Sarah moved into position and went to work with gusto. She thought it would be a beautiful way to wake up. She really hoped it was a pleasant surprise.
Cameron received a call from Allison. She wondered what it was about. It must be important. She hoped there wasn't a problem with the baby. She excused herself and left the Command Center. She hurried to the commissary.
Allison looked up as she entered the commissary.
"Hey, Cameron." Allison said.
Cameron looked very concerned
"Hi." Cameron said. "Is everything OK?"
Allison smiled. She saw Cameron start to lift her hand. It was clear what was going to happen next.
"Oh, brother." Allison said. "Let's get this part over with."
She took Cameron's hand and lifted it to her neck.
Cameron started to scan her. She felt she needed to say something. It was important to her the girls all remained healthy.
"You know I worry." Cameron said.
They shared some small talk while Cameron finished her scan.
Allison was a little uncomfortable about where to begin. There was no need to dance around the issue. It needed to be addressed. She decided to get straight to the point.
"I wanted to talk to you about Samantha." Allison said.
Cameron wasn't sure where things were headed. Her first concern was about Samantha's sheath. She wondered if it was going to be a problem for Allison. Samantha looked like her mother.
"Is it about her appearance?" Cameron asked.
Allison laughed. She believed Samantha's appearance was very appealing.
"No." Allison said. "I think she's beautiful."
Cameron was aware all the girls shared with Samantha except Riley and Sarah while she was on the ship. It seemed they were all willing to be with her as much as possible without disrupting her duties.
"She does seem to be popular." Cameron said.
Allison decided to get right to it and move ahead.
"I don't think you should restrict her sexual freedom." Allison said.
Cameron felt she was justified in doing so. She knew how events could feed on themselves and rapidly escalate out of control. She'd watched John do it with Future Riley. She didn't think Allison spoke about the other girls or herself. She believed she spoke about someone specific.
"I don't want to cause problems for Riley and Derek." Cameron said.
"When you place two people in close proximity to each other for twenty four hours a day, they are going to either hate each other or love each other." Allison said. "It's just the way it works for us."
Cameron tilted her head slightly. She thought Samantha and Riley got along fine. Maybe there was a problem.
"I'll speak to Samantha." Cameron said. "She needs to get along with Riley."
Allison could see Cameron missed the point. Cameron seemed to focus on the last part of her statement, not the first part. She figured she might just as well spell it out.
"They get along fine." Allison said. "They love each other."
Cameron frowned. It wasn't what she wanted to hear. It would cause more problems going forward. She'd planned for things to play out differently.
"I'll need to punish Samantha for this." Cameron said. "She was supposed to stay away from Riley and Derek."
Allison didn't think anyone needed to be punished. It seemed Cameron missed the real point.
"She has." Allison said. "I'm just telling you what I see. I think it's something they both need. I haven't spoken with Riley about any of this. I know how people feel. I know how Riley feels."
Cameron didn't want things to escalate. It wasn't the plan. Things didn't always work out when the plan changed.
"Samantha was supposed to be for Young Allison and Summer if something happened to Claire." Cameron said. "I guess it would be for you too."
Allison thought it was a good gesture. Based on her past experience, she could see her mother wanted to be protective of her girls, even in her absence.
"I know what it was like for me when I lost my mother the first time." Allison said. "My mother doesn't want what happened to me to happen to Young Allison or Summer."
Cameron was afraid Riley would want Samantha and dump Derek. Once she was done with Derek, Riley would come after John. If Riley wanted to be with John, he would want to be with her. When John became involved with Riley, he wouldn't want her anymore. She'd already lived through it once. She certainly didn't want to have an encore.
Allison could see Cameron's hand began to glitch. She reached over and took it.
"I don't want problems for Derek and Riley." Cameron said. "I want them to stay together."
Allison could feel the glitch intensify.
"Cameron, relax." Allison said. "Vanna and I are still together."
Cameron was aware of the rough spots. Most of those were created by her. She was ashamed of herself for getting between them before.
"Things happen." Cameron said. "People change."
Allison believed true love ruled at the end of the day.
"Look at the girls." Allison said. "We can all pretty much have any female we want at any time if they're available. Because we can, no one needs to get possessive or jealous. We can all share and still have our true love. A few minutes of shared love is beautiful."
Cameron knew it was true. She'd allowed John the same freedom on the ship. At the end of the day, he still wanted her. He always asked for her to be herself at some point. He always told her he loved her just the way she was. The knowledge always made her feel content. She'd scanned him too when he said it. He was being truthful. She gave him 'run of the ship' and he chose her in the end. It was after he'd been with everyone else previously.
She didn't want to curtail John's sexual activity going forward. She wanted all of the girls closer to him. Well, everyone except Riley.
"I experienced it." Cameron said. "You're free to visit John whenever I'm out. You may all share as much as you want now. I understand how beautiful it is for everyone. It applies to all of the girls."
Allison pointed out the aberration to the rule.
"It would be all the girls except Riley." Allison said.
Allison could feel the glitch in Cameron's hand intensify.
'He chose her over me!' Cameron thought.
"I don't like problems." Cameron said.
Allison wanted to share with Riley in the past. The only reason she didn't was because she didn't want to hurt Cameron at the time. It was something all of the girls experienced and took a step back from. It was all for the same reason. She knew it hurt Riley deeply to be rejected by everyone for the actions another version of her perpetrated. She always knew it wasn't fair.
"Can I share with Riley?" Allison asked.
The glitch intensified more.
"You're an adult." Cameron said. "You're free to choose your sexual partners."
Allison felt there were two who were restricted. She felt she needed to point it out and make it perfectly clear. There shouldn't be two sets of rules.
"It should apply to Riley and Samantha as well." Allison said.
Cameron was aware how her policies affected Riley. It always made her feel a little guilty. She always tried to tell herself she wasn't punishing Riley for what Future Riley had done.
Allison and Cameron sat down at this point. They carried on a long discussion about a lot of things.
Cameron was reminded of many things as well as considered new ideas. It pleased her Allison came to her first about everything.
Jesse dozed off for a while. She was very happy and content. She felt complete and fulfilled. She wanted to talk about her experience and how she felt transformed. There was a purpose to her life now. She was going to be a mother. She'd found a partner who loved her for being her. For whom she was. She'd found love. It seemed everything she knew she would never have; she now was able to achieve it. There was also a big worry, would she be able to keep it and hang on to it? Her hopes in life were dashed many times.
Maybe she should go back to Claire and Young Jesse. She was aware whoever 'serviced' her first was in for a little surprise. She thought about taking a shower and getting cleaned up first. Did she want to do it or give someone a surprise?
Maybe she should go and surprise Claire and Young Jesse. She would let them know what happened, without telling them about it first…. It made her wish she could get pregnant. Her body was too damaged to carry an embryo for very long. She smiled at the thought Young Jesse would do it for her. She didn't want to think about all her 'babies' her own body let die after allowing their creation. It was all Skynet's fault.
She needed to blame Skynet because it was the root of the problem. All the other things which occurred after J-Day were because of what Skynet initiated. All of the contaminants and the 'bad actors' were magnified many times over once society fell apart. The individuals who perpetrated the crimes were just as guilty before or after J-Day. The circumstances didn't matter. They still knew what they did was wrong. She didn't want to think about it right now. There were happier thoughts to fill her mind for a change.
Sarah was naked and in the darkness with 'Claire'. The problem was, it wasn't actually Claire who was there. Claire was with Vanna. It was Young Jesse she was in the room with.
Young Jesse still felt some 'jet lag'. She'd dozed off when Claire went to find Jesse. She'd just wanted to rest for a short time.
She felt some movement and was awakened to a stimulating feeling. It was how she said she wanted to wake up. Jesse or Claire must be back. She moaned a little with pleasure because the feeling was intense. Someone started out with a lot of effort.
Sarah thought she was about to give Claire a surprise. She started in on her with gusto. Things began to click in her mind almost instantly as she continued. Everything was off for the texture, size and other things.
She suddenly lifted her head. It hit her like a ton of bricks. It wasn't Claire.
Young Jesse wasn't sure why Claire or Jesse stopped. She wanted to ride things out to a conclusion. She was very pleasantly surprised to wake up in such a fashion.
"Don't stop, love. You just got me started." Young Jesse said.
There were a thousand thoughts flowing through Sarah's mind.
"Jesse?" Sarah asked.
Young Jesse was a little surprised at the question.
"One of two, well, in this timeline anyway." Young Jesse said. "Jet lag took me down a little. Did you find Jesse?"
Sarah realized it was Young Jesse! She'd thought she was Claire. She figured she'd better own up to her mistake. She didn't want it to be viewed as an aggressive move, or even abuse.
"Jesse, I thought you were Claire in the darkness." Sarah said. "I didn't know it was you. I'm sorry if this was inappropriate."
Young Jesse was wide awake now. It was Sarah! It wasn't Claire. She felt Sarah start to pull away. She was aware Sarah was the prize everyone wanted. Jesse told her how she longed to be with her many times. She said they'd been close at times but never went all the way.
"Please don't go." Young Jesse said. "I want to be with you, Sarah. Please stay even for a little bit. We can make it a quickie. I was a little sleepy from the jet lag. Nobody will know."
Sarah hesitated. She often thought about being with Jesse before. Now here was the teenage version of her. She was very aware how Hot Young Jesse was.
The light by the side of the bed came on. They were both well illuminated right now.
Young Jesse knew she needed to work fast. She didn't want Sarah to leave. She didn't want her to worry either. She wanted to finish what was started.
She faced Sarah and smiled. She could see the look on Sarah's face. It looked like she'd just got caught with her 'hand in the cookie jar'.
She gave Sarah a kiss. Nothing happened. She did it again and placed one of Sarah's hands on her right breast and touched one of Sarah's with her hand.
Sarah wondered how she was ever going to explain everything. When the light came on, Young Jesse was right there in front of her. She looked Hot and was clearly excited. She was still highly aroused too.
Young Jesse kissed her. She wasn't sure what to do. Young Jesse touched her and made her touch her too. When Young Jesse kissed her again, she kissed her back. The whole surprise encounter, and who it really was, drove her hunger. It was harder to say who was more excited.
Sarah already tried a 'taste'. What could a little more hurt at this point?
The two of them were all over each other in a second and things escalated quickly. They both experienced a finish before they even started. They quickly 'got down' to business….
Allison wasn't sure she'd reached Cameron. It seemed she caused her more distress and worry than anything. She really wished Savannah was there right now. Savannah could always reach Cameron. It was something they all envied.
John Henry didn't monitor any of the security cameras inside the base. CamNet made sure he didn't. He only dealt with John. They were both unaware of who was where or what they may be doing.
"I don't want our teams getting suckered into an ambush" John said.
John Henry felt they were hindered by daylight.
"If it was dark, we could do a closer check of the surrounding area." John Henry said.
John wasn't so sure they wanted to get any of their machines in too close anyway.
"What about the EMPs which were deployed?" John asked. "It can happen again. We don't know for sure who these people are."
John Henry was tired of the 'game'.
"Maybe it's time to end this." John Henry said. "I've received the same advice from CamNet and the Young bunker."
John was aware Young Allison handled everything extremely well in his absence. He wanted to see her in action again.
"I want to let the Young bunker make the decision." John said. "They've been on top of things for a week."
John Henry was a little surprised to hear it. He was even more surprised to hear the Young bunker just acted.
Young Allison was wide awake right now.
"I want to start doing recon by fire along the path the car is traversing." Young Allison said. "We need to worry about an EMP or an ambush. Make sure the communication's block is still in place."
Anna monitored the Command Center.
"John is ready to defer action to you." Anna said.
His decision was a surprise to Young Allison.
"When?" Young Allison asked.
Anna was a little surprised at the abruptness.
"Now." Anna said.
It was all Young Allison needed to hear. She was ready to act.
"I want a gravity shot in front and on both sides of the car. Let's give them a taste of 'metal hail'." Young Allison said. "I don't care if it is hit with ricochets. I don't want it targeted directly. I want to provoke a reaction. Watch the road behind him and in front of him for any activity."
Young Allison wanted to send a message. She was tired of needing to react to the enemy. It was time they danced to her tune.
John Henry glanced over at John. He wondered how he would take the news.
"Action has been taken." John Henry said.
John looked surprised. He'd just released control a few seconds ago. They must've already had something in the works and ready. It really made him wonder why he didn't.
"What?" John asked. "Already?"
John Henry was aware the high altitude attack had already commenced.
"Yes." John Henry said.
John watched a zoomed in view around the vehicle. There were other screens with the road in front and in back of the car.
He saw a cloud of dust and a few sparks envelop the vehicle from in front of it and along its sides. The dust drifted all around it. There was a bright flash from within the dust cloud.
"An EMP was just deployed." John Henry said. "All of our machines were well out of range. The blast appeared to cover a two mile radius in all directions."
John wondered if they'd shot at him and missed or if it was to provoke a reaction. At least they knew what group it was. Cameron was worried all week about them. It was apparent too they'd experienced several encounters with the anti-Metal group. Maybe her concerns were justified. She did follow the operations, even if she'd kept him away from them.
He didn't want anyone to approach closer.
"Keep everyone away from there." John said. "There could be a larger EMP blast."
John Henry quickly checked. He wanted to make sure 'Coltan Overcast' and 'Cherry Bomb' hadn't been sent to do some 'dirty work'.
"Everyone is more than ten miles away on the ground." John Henry said.
John figured an EMP would cover a larger area. He was a little concerned about air traffic in the area. Two miles was just above then thousand feet. He knew most commercial aircraft were above such an altitude while they were in flight. They could be lower during the takeoff or landing procedure. Smaller aircraft generally operated at less than ten thousand feet. It included both fixed-wing and rotary wing aircraft.
He was worried about what additional surprises they might be able to deploy.
"Could they have a bigger EMP than the one just used?" John asked. "It seemed rather small."
John Henry knew there were plenty of ways to get larger EMP attacks delivered.
"Yes, if it was set off in the atmosphere or was from a thermonuclear blast." John Henry said.
John looked at another screen. There was something happening elsewhere.
"What's going on there?" John asked.
There was another blinding flash. It was followed by two more in a different area. They were in a location the vehicle already passed through.
Both locations were enveloped in a cloud of dust and sparks as 'metal hail' poured from the sky.
Anna became aware of movement and several other locations after the initial strike.
"The drones have picked up movement on the road ahead and behind the target vehicle." Anna said.
Young Allison wanted to strike first.
"Open fire immediately on both of the targets." Young Allison said. "Blanket the entire area around the movement."
They watched as three more EMP blasts went off before the 'metal hail' hit its targets.
The dust around the car which was targeted settled. There were now three flat tires on the car. The driver's door opened and a man fell into the dirt. He held his leg but got up and looked around. It was clear he didn't understand the nature of the silent attack or where it came from. All he knew is it was the enemy and they all operated with Terminators.
He looked at the vehicle and saw it was disabled. He already knew there were no communications. He'd set off an EMP himself.
He set off with a pronounced limp in the direction he'd been driving.
He saw the bright flashes in front of him and in back of him. He was aware the two ambush sites must have come under attack as well. He limped back to the car and took something out of the trunk. It looked like he carried something bigger than an EMP grenade.
Young Allison spotted it for the threat it was.
"Hit him again." Young Allison said.
The man set the device on the roof of his disabled car.
Anna looked at a zoomed an image of it.
"It may be a very large EMP device." Anna said.
Young Allison wanted to make sure their drones were protected.
"Have all the drones move two miles further away." Young Allison said.
The gravity shot had already been initiated. There was a time lag between when the rounds were fired and when they would impact the ground, or a target.
The man looked around and reached for the device. There was a shower of sparks as the car and the man were torn up. The device was blown to pieces without detonating.
"There is no movement at either of the ambush sites." Anna said. "There are several dead spotted at each location."
Young Allison knew they expended a lot of ordnance.
"How are the drones fixed for ammunition?" Young Allison asked.
Anna was informed the reserves were there.
"There's a fresh group on station." Anna said.
Young Allison wanted to make sure the enemy was down.
"Let's wait two more minutes and then hit everything again." Young Allison said. "If there were any survivors, they would start to come out of hiding by then."
Young Allison knew she needed to kill the enemy, not just shoot them. There was a difference.
John watched the three areas of destruction. It wasn't the move he would have made. He didn't have any experience with it. He saw how effective it was. He'd watched the use the technique several times during the night during John Henry's overview.
"Wow!" John said. "It was really something to see."
John Henry nodded.
John looked in back of them.
"Summer?" John asked. "What are you doing?"
Summer told it like it was.
"Hello." Summer said. "I assisted CamNet with the targeting."
John wasn't sure he heard her correctly.
"Do you mean it was you and not CamNet or the Young bunker?" John asked.
Summer wanted to downplay her involvement.
"It was all three of us." Summer said. "I covered the likely routes of escape if we were hit with a jamming field again. I wanted to make sure I could provide CamNet with targets even if we couldn't see them. I did it before and scored."
John never saw Summer arrive or start to work at her station. John Henry briefly mentioned Summer assisted them some during the night. He didn't know how extensive it was. He really wondered how long she'd been there.
"I'm glad Young Allison contacted you for assistance." John said.
Summer avoided the question. It was CamNet who'd asked for her assistance. She'd left Jan to come there. It seemed like a good time to leave.
"I need to go back and help Jan now." Summer said and left.
It looked to John the operation was complete with the one car. It appeared they were the anti-Metal group too beyond a doubt.
"What will happen there now?" John asked. "I know the other sites were policed."
John Henry spotted Cammy and Savannah change places from some drone footage. He knew what it meant.
"The same thing will happen there." John Henry said. "Savannah is leading the team in there now."
John was a little worried Savannah was about to be in the 'thick of it' again.
Young Jesse and Sarah shared wildly with each other. They both got a few more finishes out of it. They both knew each other was the 'forbidden fruit'. It made it even more exciting.
Sarah wanted to stay longer. Young Jesse was a thrill to be with. She was so vibrant and smooth. It made her a little self conscious about her own skin. She was older and there were plenty of scars. None of it seemed to bother Young Jesse.
They both worked on each other alone and then together.
Sarah was mindful of the time. She glanced at the clock on the dresser. She knew she needed to show some restraint. She didn't want anyone to start asking questions about her whereabouts.
"I need to go soon." Sarah said. "Nobody knows I'm here. I need to keep it that way for now."
Young Jesse wanted to ask about Sarah and Claire but didn't. It seemed self evident at this point. Sarah thought she was Claire when she dove right in. She was very glad she did. She never woke up happier.
"Sure, love." Young Jesse said. "It'll be our secret."
Sarah looked at her.
"Is it a promise?" Sarah asked.
"It's a promise." Young Jesse said. "I won't mention it to anyone. I don't kiss and tell."
They shared a few more kisses as Sarah dressed. It excited both of them to share themselves in each other's kiss.
"How long will you be here?" Sarah asked.
Young Jesse wasn't sure of it. She might be going on a temporal mission soon or maybe back to Australia.
"I really don't know." Young Jesse said. "If we can do it secretly, can we hook up again? I don't want to put you in a jam, but I really want to be with you again."
Sarah knew it was a risk being with Claire. She knew being with Young Jesse was an even bigger risk. It made her want it more. She'd been with two different females in a very short time.
"Yes." Sarah said. "I'd like it very much. I haven't done this in a long time."
It excited Young Jesse even more to hear it.
They shared one last kiss. It was slow, deep and meaningful. It was a loving kiss.
Sarah looked out the door and down the hall both ways.
She went out but turned around.
"Remember, it'll be our secret." Sarah said.
Young Jesse watched her go and closed the door.
She was elated. It was the best quickie sex she'd ever shared. She'd never experienced an unexpected hook up like it before. Jesse told her about them and how exciting they were. She was right.
The biggest thrill was because it was Sarah! She actually felt honored. She'd let John have her virginity a couple of days ago. Now she was with his mother!
What a total mind trip! It was a toss up as to who she'd liked better. She decided she needed to try both of them again. She was close to making it again as she pictured being with both of them at the same time.
Jesse headed out of her room. She wanted to see Claire. She headed back towards Claire's room. She came around the corner and saw Sarah out in the hall. She backed up and peeked around the corner. Sarah looked back at Claire's door and said something. She looked around and quickly hurried away.
It was different. Jesse figured Sarah came by to 'see' Claire or maybe just hang out together with her. She was sure Young Jesse in the room wasn't something she expected to find.
Jesse waited until Sarah went around the far corner. She still hung back. A few seconds later Sarah looked back down the hall and then disappeared.
Jesse made her move and headed towards Claire's room. She wasn't going to say anything and see if Claire mentioned it.
Claire was with Vanna in her room. She wanted to bring Jesse back to her own room to share with Young Jesse and her. She wanted to see them together as she just watched them.
Claire figured Allison would be back soon.
"I need to head back to my room." Claire said. "I left Young Jesse there. She needed to rest for a little while. She still has a little jet lag hanging over her."
Vanna really enjoyed being with Young Jesse on the ship.
"I hope she stays for a week at least." Vanna said.
Claire was very stimulated by the thought.
"She's the hottest ticket around." Claire said.
They shared a few loving kisses and Claire quickly dressed.
She left Vanna's room and headed out. She saw Jesse's door was open now. She looked inside. The bed was messed up. It usually was. She went over and touched it. She touched something. It felt like Jesse must have been very excited. She rubbed her thumb and index finger together. She knew the feeling but didn't make the connection. She didn't know Jesse shared with John.
She left and started back towards her room. She spotted Sarah go around the corner towards her room. She hurried to catch her. When she arrived, Sarah was gone. She headed for her own room.
Claire spotted Allison and Cameron in the commissary when she passed by. It looked like they were in a serious discussion. She didn't stop. She passed by the rec room and saw Summer and Jan working together. She exchanged pleasantries with them but kept going.
She hoped to find Jesse in her room. She hoped Young Jesse was still there too. She hadn't planned on the side 'excursion' with Vanna. Vanna was always too good to be with to pass up. She really hoped Allison didn't mind. There was no reason a mother and daughter couldn't share a few things like lovers. It was all in the family after all.
The Gray went back out to the main passageway. He could still hear the HK Track moving around in the distance. He wasn't sure what was going on. He continued his journey towards the front.
He really expected to see some others by now. When he finally did, he wasn't really surprised. He came across two more of the men who'd been in the mine with him. They were both dead.
Not only had they both been taken down with minigun fire, one of the men had been run over by an HK Track as well. He was actually surprised when the HK Track fired a missile at the other man he'd been with earlier. He thought it could have caved in a section of the mine. It didn't. He wished it would have. It would have trapped the HK Track behind him if it had.
The Gray went to move around the two men. He suddenly found himself lying between them. He just needed to rest a little bit. He felt really tired. His back hurt a lot too.
The female Fanatic was accurate in her statement. Jill was soon right below her. The HK Track continued to pull at a slow speed. She looked behind her at the rope. She became a little more concerned. It appeared it was about to break.
She could see several strands on it 'pop' and spring open. The rope was only about half of its original thickness at the spot.
The female Fanatic looked back down the shaft. Jill was almost there.
"Give me one of your hands." The female Fanatic said. "Do it right now."
Jill was a little surprised she was so close. She hadn't been able to look up. There's been a lot of debris falling on top of her. It seemed to stop. She chanced a look upward. She could see the outline of a shape right above her.
She reached her hand up and Jackie took it. She could feel Jackie hold it tight and pull. There was a sudden 'snap'. Jackie continued to pull her. She was almost two thirds of the way out of the shaft. She realized the rope broke. Jackie held her firm and continued to pull. She got her knees up over the edge of the shaft. She was a little alarmed when she spotted the HK Track in the passageway right in front of her. She hoped it wasn't going to run over them or shoot them.
The female Fanatic took Jill's hand as soon as it came up. She pulled hard on it. Jill was halfway out of the shaft when the rope broke. She continued to pull hard. She held onto her and fell back on her rear end. It seems to pull Jill the rest of the way out of the shaft.
The HK Track continued forward at its same speed.
"Stop!" The female Fanatic said loudly.
The HK Track stopped moving.
She could see Jill looked a little alarmed.
"I reprogrammed it." The female Fanatic said. "It's on our team right now."
The female Fanatic stood. She helped Jill to her feet. In the dim light she could see the debris all over her. She brushed her off as best as she could.
Jill looked at the broken rope behind Jackie.
"You saved me." Jill said. "I would have fallen back down the shaft."
Jill gave Jackie a big hug. They shared another quick kiss.
The female Fanatic took the rope off of Jill. She left it where it was. She thought it was too unsafe to use for anything else. They were back on the main level so they shouldn't need it. She wanted to get moving.
"Follow me." The female Fanatic said.
Jill followed behind Jackie. They went right up to the back of the big machine. She watched as Jackie untied the rope from the back of it. She realized if the machine hadn't assisted them, she would still be down in the shaft.
The female Fanatic moved past the HK Track. She told Jill to pause for a moment. She quickly gave it a new set of instructions. She also informed it of a second human who it wouldn't terminate. She told Jill to move up so the machine could do facial recognition on her.
Jill was a little intimidated as she moved around the machine. It looked very lethal to her. She hoped it wouldn't kill her when she faced it. It didn't. It didn't do anything.
"Let's get out of this place". Jill said.
The female Fanatic thought about checking further into the mine. She decided not to. She was going to use the power cell she removed from the fallen HK Track to blow the entrance closed.
"I'm more than ready myself." The female Fanatic said.
She told the HK Track to remain where it was. She slowly moved up to the opening of the main passageway. She carefully looked in both directions, she didn't spot any movement. She instructed the HK Track to move up and proceeded towards the front of the mine. She reminded it again to engage any targets other than Jill and her.
"I want you to stay in back of the HK Track." The female Fanatic said. "I'm going to be next to it so I can take a good look at what's happening in front of us. I'll be able to move in back of it in an instant if it becomes necessary. It should be able to stop any bullets fired in our direction. Hopefully, it will eliminate any threat before it becomes a threat to us."
The HK Track started down the main passageway. They moved in the formation the female Fanatic said they would move. It was still uncertain what they would face.
It wasn't long until the female Fanatic spotted a couple of bodies up ahead. Neither one of them were moving. She soon noticed one of them was missing its legs. There was a lot of debris on the floor of the passageway near them. She realized the HK Track had fired a missile at the men. She didn't know it had killed one earlier yet.
Jill I could tell there was something up ahead. She peeked around the back of the HK Track and spotted the bodies. She could see one was in bad shape. They were both bloody.
The female Fanatic didn't want to traumatize her.
"You don't need to look." The female Fanatic said. "They're both dead."
Jill wanted to look. She didn't want to see the gore. She wanted to see if it was any of the men who'd abused her. She personally wanted to kill the three of them inside of the mine. If they weren't already dead, she planned to kill them herself.
"I want to see if they were some of the men who'd abused me." Jill said as they passed by them. "Neither one of them were."
The female Fanatic instructed Jill to remain behind the HK Track. She went back and checked over the two men quickly. She took their phones. Only one of them was usable. She left the other one where it was. She also collected the two transponders from them. Only one of them was still functional.
She hurried along and caught back up to the HK Track and Jill.
Jill saw Jackie with the new phone. She reached in her pocket and handed three of the other ones back to Jackie.
"Do you want the rest of them?" Jill asked.
The female Fanatic knew they weren't out of the mine yet.
"Hang on to them for now." The female Fanatic said. "Put this device in your pocket. It's a transponder. It will show you as a 'friendly' to any of the other machines in here with us. I only reprogrammed this one."
Jill looked at the device. She put it in her pocket. She took it back out.
"What about you?" Jill asked. "Do you have one?"
The female Fanatic hoped to acquire one soon. She moved Jill's hand down and put the transponder back in her pocket.
"Not yet. I think we're going to find a few more dead Grays." The female Fanatic said.
Jill thought she'd heard Jackie mention the name 'Grays' before.
"Is that the name of the terrorist group?" Jill asked. "Are the know as the 'Grays'?"
The female Fanatic didn't want to get too specific.
"It's a term we used to refer to them." The female Fanatic said. "They're the enemy by whatever name we refer to them."
Jill could tell Jackie was really looking out for her. She appreciated it immensely. No one had ever done so many things to help her and save her on several occasions. She literally would have died if it wasn't for Jackie several times over.
The female Fanatic and Jill continued towards the front of the mine. The reprogram HK Track led the way.
The Gray was on the ground between the two dead men. He could hear the HK Track. He felt a new rush of adrenaline. He quickly got up to his feet. He moved as rapidly as he could. It wasn't quite as quick as he would have liked it to be.
Lena and Tina were unsure what the new threat would present. The drone kept track of everyone around their immediate area. There were the two new targets as well as the two men from the white van to keep track of.
Tina moved out ahead the intercept whoever was near the communications array currently. They'd come up from the back side of the mountain. They didn't look like backpackers from the drone footage.
She was well ahead of the two men moving up the trail. She looked at the drone image of the two new men. They were looking around the area where the Gray bunker once was at. It had been blown closed by the Resistance team when they left the mountain top after the battle there.
Tina was able to take them under direct observation. She was currently behind a rock outcropping. The other two men were still approximately ten to fifteen minutes away. Their pace had been slowing as they continued the ascent of the mountain.
One of the men continued to look around where the opening of the bunker once was. The other one moved off to the side and started up towards the communications array. She didn't think they were up to anything good. She was ready to draw her silenced M9 and bring both of them down. She would be able to get rid of the bodies before the other men arrived. If she shot them, there would be blood on the ground in a few places. It would be fresh blood too. She wouldn't have time to police the area.
She decided to confront them before they separated much further. She would try to get both of them together so she could terminate them, 'Terminator style'. She communicated what she was about to do to Lena.
CamNet reassured her she was ready for a gravity shot with the minigun or with a missile.
Tina quickly moved out into the open.
The man who'd started up towards the communications array glanced back and saw her. She could see him say something to the other man by the collapsed bunker entrance. They didn't know she could hear them.
"Dude, we have company." The first man said. "Chill out for a while."
The second man turned around and looked.
"It's a chick." The second man said. "She looks kind of hot from here."
The second man ogled her as well.
"You know it can change sometimes when we see them up close." The second man said.
The first man laughed.
"I don't spend a lot of time looking at their faces." The first man said.
The first man came down and joined with the second man.
Tina was almost to the two men.
She waited for their next move. It came soon enough.
"Nice day for a walk." The first man said.
Tina smiled at them.
"Nice day for a walk." Tina said.
Tina moved closer to the two unknown men. Lena continued to shadow the other two men. She was now in front of them.
The two men continued their journey up the mountain side. Their pace continued to slow.
"Let's rest for a few minutes." The first man said.
They stopped for a short break.
"How much farther do we have to go?" The second man asked.
The first man looked up towards the top of the mountain. He couldn't really see much from where he was at.
"I think we're almost there." The first man said. "I think it will be maybe about twenty minutes."
The second man finished off his drink. He threw the empty bottle into the bushes on the side of the trail.
"You know this is all for nothing." The second man said.
The first man didn't want to argue about it. So far it, it all was for nothing.
"Welcome to the real world." The first man said. "Isn't everything for nothing?"
The two men rested up for a few minutes and started back out.

All of the positive energy
Should lead to success
Some feelings more than others
Are harder to share and express
When they are taken to excess
They can lead to distress or sickness
