Chapter 1471

Dessert Was Dandy

Bob and Derek entered the machine shop.

Kyle and Jim went into the welding shop next door.

Derek told the manager what they wanted to do. It would be for a job they wanted done locally. He asked to see his equipment. They wanted to make sure he possessed the machinery and the physical capability to get the job done. It would also give them a look at what could be done.

There were half a dozen machines inside.

There were a couple of CNC mills and CNC lathes. There was a big drill press and a power band saw for metal. It was a small shop with some very expensive machines. Everything was new.

Bob figured they would need to look into the financing of the firm. There was several million dollars worth of new machinery.

He looked at the various metals which were in plain sight. There was no Coltan spotted.

They told the manager they would speak to their investors and see what they could work out.

They were about to leave.

Bob asked if he could use the restroom and went back into the workroom area.

Derek kept the manager busy while Bob slipped away and went out into the 'steel yard'. There was a vast assortment of different types of metal there. None of them was Coltan.

Bob hurried back to rejoin them.

They thanked the manager and left.

They returned to the SUV.

Derek didn't like the way the manager bumped into him a few times when Bob was gone.

"He's dirty." Derek said. "I could tell. Where were the workers?"

Bob wasn't sure, but would believe Derek's instinct.

"I didn't spot any workers around." Bob said. "I couldn't find any Coltan or even Titanium."

Everything seemed like it was still unused to Derek.

"It looked to me as if things were new and just set up very recently." Derek said.

Bob figured Cameron would want the equipment. It would be untraceable back to them when they appropriated it.

"If we need to take this place down, Cameron will want the machinery." Bob said. "It's all top of the line. Everything is new."

Derek was still upset because the manager bumped into him several times. He wanted some resolution.

"We'll need to take it down." Derek said. "I can guarantee it."

Derek was left with a very uncomfortable feeling with the encounter.

Cameron gave Savannah and Young Jesse a heading earlier. They were to engage a 'hostile target'.

Savannah spotted the surface contact on the water. It was their objective. She talked Young Jesse through the targeting process.

She picked up the power and entered into a shallow dive. She felt she needed to stress a warning.

"Remember not to get target fixation." Savannah said. "Always try to keep some altitude and plenty of maneuvering room."

Savannah lined up. The four fifties cut loose. The projectiles impacted in front of and across the target.

Young Jesse watched the impacts on the target. She could only imagine the devastating effect of eight more fifties with the eight gun nose in place. Twelve fifties could cut a small ship in half.

Savannah brought the Mitchell around in an aggressive turn while she gained a little altitude. In just seconds, she came at the target from the side and scored again.

Young Jesse was awed.

Savannah repeated the maneuver two more times. She attacked the target from all four directions. Each one was ninety degrees from the last engagement.

Cameron liked Savannah marksmanship.

"You engaged the target perfectly." Cameron said.

Young Jesse was impressed as well. She discussed a few things with Savannah about the targeting information. She was afraid she would shoot too soon, or wait too long, to engage. She knew it was practice, but she didn't want to waste ammunition. In a combat situation, ammunition conservation was critical to extending the mission.

Savannah called Cameron up and said something to her.

Cameron spoke with Camille and Anna.

Anna went over the crawlway and went back to where Young Allison was at.

Savannah took the Mitchell back up to five thousand feet and reduced the power settings.

Young Allison was in the tail gun position. She liked being in the cockpit for these maneuvers over being in the back. She did have a good view behind them. She checked her two fifties but they weren't loaded. They were live weapons though. It was something Cameron wanted done after they were intercepted by Sheila and Ally in her TF-51 before. It was a dual control P-51 Mustang.

Anna came up behind Young Allison.

"OK, 'Sergeant York', you're up." Anna said.

Young Allison was surprised. Her face lit up when she caught the reference. She knew who Sergeant York was. He was known for his marksmanship skills. In one engagement during the Great War, later known as World War One, Sergeant York killed over twenty enemy combatants and captured over a hundred and thirty more, by himself. Right now she was thrilled to be headed back to the cockpit.

"Oh, boy…." Young Allison said. "I thought I was going to be JAFO on this one."

Young Allison made her way back to the front.

Savannah looked back and saw Young Allison was there between Cameron and Camille. She was very pleased by the big smile on Young Allison's face. It only seemed to enhance her beauty.

It was time to move things along. She looked at Young Jesse.

"You got it?" Savannah asked.

Young Jesse glanced back and saw Young Allison was there. She understood Savannah was going to switch places with her.

"I got it." Young Jesse said.

Savannah unstrapped and let Young Allison take the pilot's seat.

Cameron asked Savannah to use her jump seat.

Young Allison strapped in and checked over everything twice. She was ready.

Young Jesse watched as Young Allison took everything in. She could see she was good to go.

"You got it?" Young Jesse asked.

Young Allison nodded.

"I got it." Young Allison said.

Young Allison picked up the power and came around hard back to the target.

Young Jesse could see Young Allison really was the tiger she saw during the presentation. She looked briefly at Cameron.

Cameron smiled. She was very proud of Young Allison. She was very proud of all three of her girls.

Kyle and Jim went into the welding shop. They inquired about various types of welding equipment. There were different types of equipment for welding various types of metal. They were set up for MIG, TIG and two kinds of Arc welding.

There was also a set up for automatic welding. It would speed up the process and lessen the need for additional personnel. It would be machines helping to build other machines.

Jim checked all the metal they passed. No Coltan was spotted.

They thanked the manager and left.

Kyle hadn't spotted anything which stood out. He hoped Jim may have.

"What did you find?" Kyle asked.

Jim was a little disappointed with the findings.

"Not what we were looking for." Jim said.

They rejoined Derek and Bob.

Jim and Bob both plugged in and sent their visual files to John Henry who sent them to CamNet.

It was determined the two shops were most likely going to be used to build HK sub assemblies. They weren't set up yet and no Coltan was present.

Bob and Jim were both able to leave several surveillance cameras behind.

It didn't look like they were ready to take the two places down yet. They knew where the machinery was at and it could be confiscated at any time. They wanted something else. They would give it some time and see if any Coltan showed up. They wanted to track the source of the Coltan.

Derek and Kyle were a little bummed they wouldn't take any Grays down today.

They headed out.

Kyle was left with an uneasy feeling as they drove away.

"Watch for a tail." Kyle said.

It was a feeling all of them shared.

"Affirmative…." Bob and Jim both said.

Derek and Kyle glanced at each other and smiled. It never got old.

They were aware if they were suspected by the men in either of the two buildings, they would most likely target them. They figured it would be surveillance first. It could also be done with some type of attack squad as well. They didn't know.

Cammy, Ally and Sheila stood on the front porch of the house the girls from the ship were in. They'd been about to knock when they heard they were being discussed. They paused and listened to the girls talk inside. It was about them. It was very informative.

Sheila did like it because Leticia always stuck up for her.

When the 'machines' part was mentioned, they all looked at each other. They knew they were going to need to take it back a notch or two. Sheila didn't relay her story about how far she'd taken Leticia. It was 'all the way' to the 'other side'. It was too far. She'd needed to revive Leticia, twice.

When it looked like Leticia was about to call her, Sheila decided to knock instead. She wanted to see the girls as much as they appeared to want to see them.

The front door opened and the Metal girls went inside. There were hugs to go all around, and a few kisses, to start things off.

Sheila went straight for Leticia.

Leticia was pleased to see 'Sue' head for her.

Mary moved in and put the grab on 'Barbara'. It was Cammy this time.

It left Ally with Laura.

Laura and 'Peggy' were happy with each other.

The girls started to kiss and remove their clothes on the way to the bedrooms.

Sheila and Ally already knew what to expect.

Cammy was pleased with Mary and looked forward to being with Laura and Leticia afterwards. She soon forgot about being upset with Cameron and CamNet for taking Savannah away from her. She could see she was in for a good time. The excitement seemed to feed on and build itself even more. She was in a very high state of arousal.

She looked at Mary's piercings and wished she still had hers. All of her piercings on her sheath were healed and gone. The piercings always disappeared in a very short time once the jewelry was out.

Cammy couldn't help but 'work' on Mary. She wanted to work on her first before they shared. It was as good as the girls all told her it was. The three girls were fine and the dessert was dandy.

Ally was very pleased to start out with Laura. She really hoped Laura wouldn't go for Sheila's earlier proposal. She wasn't going to bring it up. She would try to dissuade her if she mentioned it on her own. Right now there were other things to think about.

Vanna and Allison wanted to do a little more to take some of the heat off of Savannah. They currently were on a recon.

Allison and Holly, along with Vanna and Cam, headed for the front door. It was a 'janitorial service'. It was what the signage indicated anyway.

"It looks like I've reached my full potential in life." Allison said. "I get to be a janitor."

Vanna was aware Cameron and Sarah posed as janitors at a nuclear power plant to gain access. She didn't think it was such a bad profession, based on the real objective. She didn't want Allison to worry about it. She tried to make a joke about it.

"Blame it on our lack of proper schooling." Vanna said.

Allison could have done without the reminder. Skynet was the one to blame for their lack of a better education.

"We were schooled in the Wastelands." Allison said. "We all earned degrees in 'Hard Knocks'."

Cam moved to the front. She wanted the girls to concentrate.

"I'll do the talking." Cam said.

Vanna and Allison were thrilled to be along, even if they downplayed it. They were about to be involved in something. It would be more than sweeping or cleaning. At least they hoped it was.

Holly brought up the rear as they went inside the building.

They went to the reception window.

Cam moved forward. CamNet already set some things in motion behind the scenes.

"Hello, we're the crew from Palm Springs." Cam said.

The receptionist looked them over from head to toe and back again.

"They're expecting you." The receptionist said. "You come highly recommended."

Cam flashed her a smile.

"Thanks." Cam said. "We try to be good at what we do."

The receptionist looked them over again. She could see they were all incredibly beautiful. They were certainly a cut above the normal applicants.

"You all look like models." The receptionist said. "Most of the girls are a lot less refined."

Cam wanted to set the bar high.

"Thanks." Cam said. "We normally do high end jobs."

Vanna and Allison looked at each other. They wondered where things were headed.

Cam could see the receptionist look them all over again. It was the third time. It felt like she was mentally undressing them.

"I'm sure you're popular." The receptionist said.

Cam wanted to make their preference clear.

"All of our clients are female." Cam said.

The receptionist thought they could get to work soon.

"I think we have three clients waiting." The receptionist said.

Holly wanted to keep some control.

"One of them will need to wait. We always work in pairs." Holly said. "There's no exception to the rule."

The receptionist looked a little displeased.

"The boss may want something different." The receptionist said.

Cam already saw enough to confirm what this place was a 'front' for. It was what they'd suspected. She thought it was time to move on. It seemed like they'd been given a good opening.

"I'm sorry." Cam said. "We're out of here then."

Holly turned around. She was followed by Vanna and Allison. They all headed for the door. Cam looked back once and followed them out.

The receptionist was worried she'd just blown a big opportunity.

"Wait." The receptionist said.

Cam wanted everyone out of the building.

"Keep going." Cam whispered.

Holly picked up the pace.

They were soon halfway to the SUV.

Allison and Vanna exchanged questioning looks. They weren't exactly sure what just occurred. It certainly wasn't what they thought it would be.

"What the Hell was that all about?" Allison asked.

Vanna cringed when she thought back on the conversation.

"I feel 'dirty' just from hearing the discussion." Vanna said. "We're not whores."

Cam figured she'd better come clean.

"This place is a front for 'Bottomless Maids'." Cam said.

Vanna was really disgusted at this point. She would have liked to have known a little more going in.

"You're just telling us that now?" Vanna asked.

Vanna said she wanted a recon mission. It was a little different than she'd anticipated. It was an 'off the books' operation for CamNet. It was still a piece of the action.

Cam wanted Allison and Vanna to look like they wanted to work. If they would have known what the job actually was for, they would have looked like they do now. It wasn't happy or pleasant. They looked worried and disgusted.

"We needed some cover." Cam said.

Allison looked at Holly

"What do you have to say about this?" Allison asked.

Holly looked at Cam. She put the 'blame' on her.

"She runs Cameron's program." Holly said. "It was a job which needed to be done. You wanted to be part of an operation."

Allison thought Holly could have provided a better explanation.

"You were part of It. What's your excuse?" Allison asked.

Holly thought it was a noble gesture for Savannah's sake.

"We just wanted to see if this was an operation we needed to take down for Cameron." Holly said. "It would be Savannah and Cameron here later on if we didn't do this."

Allison frowned slightly. She knew why she was there in the first place.

"We did say we wanted to take the heat off of Savannah." Allison said.

Vanna looked at Cam and frowned.

"Someone forgot to tell us we weren't only taking the heat, but going from the frying pan into the fire." Vanna said.

They reached the SUV.

Cam wanted the girls to think about something.

"You wouldn't have gone otherwise." Cam said. "Savannah thanks you by her absence here."

Allison didn't like being manipulated.

"You just want us to feel bad." Allison said.

Vanna ran everything through her mind along with all of the implications.

"It worked." Vanna said. "I do feel bad now. For about six different reasons too."

Allison went to drive.

Vanna moved ahead of her and held out her hand.

Allison looked at her for a long moment and finally put the keys in her hand.

"Fine…." Allison said somewhat angrily. "At least I won't hide in the back."

Vanna wanted Allison to think about something specific.

"Remember it when you get in." Vanna said. "Take a good look at the side."

Allison went around to the passenger's side.

There was a new dent in the fender and a long scrape along the passenger's side.

Allison shrugged her shoulders.

"It happens." Allison said.

Vanna shook her head in disgust. It only added to the level of disgust from the discussion she'd heard inside of the building.

Riley entered the shower and washed herself. She couldn't believe what she'd just done. She'd been with another woman. She still thought it was Claire and didn't know it was Sarah.

As she let the hot water flow over her, she wondered what she was going to tell Derek. He'd told her before, if she needed to be with a female every once and awhile, he didn't have a problem with it. If it was just for fun, or even to 'release' her inner self, he said he understood. In the future all the females were with other females, even if they were in a relationship of some type with a male.

She turned off the water and got out of the shower and dried herself off. She looked at herself in the mirror. She wondered if she was attractive. She knew John looked at her a lot. She wasn't sure Derek saw her as anything more than a convenient place to satisfy himself.

No.

Derek was a good guy. They loved each other. The trouble was, she didn't love herself. She was ashamed her body couldn't sustain the life it created on its own. She felt inadequate as a mother. She remembered how hard it was for her at first with Precious. She was totally overwhelmed. It was before Cameron provided her with Samantha.

She was totally in love with Samantha. Now Samantha looked identical to Claire. She'd just been with Claire, or so she thought. Maybe she'd imagined it was Samantha she'd been with. She really liked what 'Claire' was able to offer. Samantha possessed the same things now.

What was she going to do? She should have controlled herself and not ran off and done what she did. Did she really do it? She could almost still taste it. She quickly rinsed her mouth. She did taste it.

Riley went into her room and took out some fresh clothes. She needed to touch herself. She went to see where Samantha was at first. She was in the corner in Precious room. Precious was asleep. She returned to her room and closed the door. She lay on the bed and pleasured herself. She did it over and over until she fell asleep.

Samantha was in Precious room. She heard Riley take a shower and she came to check on Precious and her. She left and went to her room and closed the door.

She was under the impression Riley was with John. It was what all the evidence indicated.

Samantha listened outside the bedroom door and could tell what Riley was up to. She wondered when she was going to stop. She returned and looked at Precious.

"You may not have a mommy soon." Samantha whispered. "I'll take care of you."

Samantha stood there and watched Precious sleep. She did it every night too. It was exciting to her. Standby left a lot to be desired. Watching a baby sleep was much more pleasurable. It always made her wonder what Precious thought about and what she dreamt about. She really wondered what it was like to dream. She wondered how the human mind was able to separate a dream from reality. She didn't think an infant would be able to. Everything Precious dreamt about, would seem like it was real to her.

John was with Claire earlier. He wanted a little more.

He wanted to get everything 'taken care of' before Cameron returned. He didn't want to 'do anything' in front of her.

Cameron didn't know he'd been with Jesse already. He wanted the experience again. He decided to go to her room and see what happened.

He moved out into the hall and looked both ways. No one was around. He headed straight for Jesse's room. He saw the door was almost closed but not tight. It was the 'invitation' to enter.

Just the thought of being with Jesse again aroused him. He was ready. He reached for the door handle. He could see the room was dark inside. He smiled. He paused and listened. It sounded like she was asleep. He peeked in the dark room and could make out her form on the bed. He could just barely make out she was naked. She'd been in there waiting for him. He should have come earlier. He would slip inside, take off his clothes and get her started up. It would be smooth sailing after he did. Dessert was dandy.

He opened the door enough to slip inside….

Earlier:

Sarah felt the need to be with Jesse again. She really liked what they'd shared. Every one of the girls seemed to have something different to offer, even if it was the same thing.

She stripped off her clothes and climbed into Jesse's bed. She figured when Jesse arrived, her intentions would be self evident.

Sarah reflected on her four recent experiences. It was still hard to believe she'd done it. She soon needed to touch herself and drifted off to sleep shortly afterwards.

She was ready for whatever happened next. She hoped Jesse would start right in on her. It would be a wonderful way to wake up. Dessert was dandy.

Jesse was very pleased to be with Claire right now. All Claire would say about John was it was her best time ever. She wondered if she meant 'ever' or 'with a male'. She decided not to ask.

They spent their time together slowly at first and then things picked up. They were slow and loving again at this point.

Jesse thought it would be nice if Sarah or John stopped by.

She thought it would be even better if they both stopped by at the same time.

It would be something.

Dessert was dandy.

Life was good in Paradise.

Claire noticed Jesse was hot and cold at times right now. She wasn't sure why. Maybe she was worried about her time with John which was soon to happen. Maybe Jesse was upset she went first. She didn't know Jesse and John already shared.

Either way, this was her best day ever. She looked forward to more of the same.

All of a sudden Jesse was hot again. It was what Claire wanted right now.

Dessert was dandy.

Summer worked with Jan. She'd taken over all scholastic instruction as well as the arts. It seemed as if everyone else was busy.

Jan wanted to take a break.

"Maybe we can go see John Henry again." Jan said.

Summer knew everyone was tied up.

"We can do it." Summer said. "Remember, our moms don't really like us to go there."

Jan thought it was Summer's mother more than hers.

They finished up and put their books away. Summer would work on either some music or dance when they returned.

They headed out for the Command Center.

John Henry was surprised when Jan and Summer walked in the door. CamNet turned off all of his internal surveillance earlier. He wasn't really sure why. He wasn't going to ask. It might be viewed as an 'infraction'. CamNet was quick to 'punish' him when he 'overstepped' or 'stepped on' her plans.

He exchanged pleasantries with the girls.

Summer got caught up on all the operations visually. CamNet kept her informed through her com as to how everything progressed earlier.

John Henry got Jan set up on a few computer games.

There was something which nagged at Summer. An 'alarm' sounded in her mind. CamNet showed her all the base surveillance footage after she'd asked to see it.

She was surprised at everything which was about to 'go down'. It would be quite literally in one situation.

John and Sarah were in for a big surprise, a really big one.

Gail and Hanna wanted to take some of the pressure off of Savannah like everyone else did. They teamed up and drew a mission. They were given one which surprised them somewhat.

"I don't think John Henry is giving any of us 'real assignments'." Hanna said.

Gail figured there was probably an underlying factor. It was always an underlying factor.

"Cameron is probably saving all of them for herself." Gail said. "You know she likes to take all the risks."

Hanna felt a little frustrated.

"It's what we're all trying to assist with." Hanna said. "We want to take the heat off of Savannah."

Gail considered the nature of the assignment they'd been given. The time of the day seemed to be a big indication as to what would, or wouldn't, happen.

"I think the fact we all drew daylight missions is an indicator none of them are really going to pan out." Gail said.

They arrived at an address John Henry gave them. They expected it to be an industrial location since it was what everyone else drew. It wasn't. It was a residential area.

They took the location under surveillance. They needed to wait to see what developed. It wasn't long before a van pulled up to the gate. It opened and the van drove inside. The garage door opened next and the van went inside. A few seconds later, the garage door and gate both closed.

Hanna wondered if they shouldn't have taken some preemptive action.

"Maybe we should have been waiting inside the garage." Hanna said.

Gail wanted to go there and take a look.

"I know we're going to take a look right now." Gail said.

Hanna wondered if they were going to do an interrogation as well.

"What about the driver?" Hanna said.

Gail thought they would be able to get some answers.

"Let's see what he can tell us." Gail said.

They both exited the SUV and headed for the house.

The assignment was about to prove to be a wild one. They just didn't know it yet.

The driver of the van went to fire at the car. It struck him before he could. The impact sent him flying. He landed up against the back of the deli. The car quickly passed him.

CamNet's Terminator could see a confrontation was about ready to take place. He watched the action unfold. He was directed to head towards the location where the van was parked.

The drone image showed the man hadn't moved since he was struck by the car. The attacker appeared to be on his way back to the building he'd attacked earlier. He would be dealt with soon enough.

The Terminator parked two blocks away. It was in a parking lot down the street from where the deli was located. There was a surveillance camera which watched over the parking lot. Currently there are no other vehicles parked around the SUV. It provided open fields of fire for a gravity shot of 'metal hail' if anyone approached the vehicle.

He moved on foot through the alley. He approached the van from the rear. He checked inside as he passed it. He could see it was loaded with a multitude of boxes and equipment. There was no one else present.

The Terminator approached the man whose back was up against the building. He moved closer to him. He nudged him with his foot. He didn't move. He reached down and picked up the assault rifle the man had dropped. He touched the man's neck. He was still alive, even if he was unconscious.

He found the man's keys in his pocket. He took his phone as well. He moved back to the van and put the assault rifle inside. He reached through the open window and put the key in the ignition. He started the van. He moved back over to where the man was at. He was about to snap his neck when the rear door of the deli opened.

A worker wearing a white T-shirt with a white smock walked out with a box full of trash. He paused as he looked at the man on the ground and then at the Terminator.

"What's going on here?" The worker asked.

The Terminator didn't want the issue to escalate.

"My friend has consumed too much alcohol." The Terminator said.

The worker looked a little skeptical. He looked back at the running van.

"Should I dial 911?" The worker asked.

The Terminator didn't want the authorities involved. He was glad he'd put the assault rifle in the van. He reached down and picked up the man on the ground.

"My friend is dead tired." The Terminator said.

The worker looked a little astonished.

"Wow! You're strong." The worker said. "That dude looks like he weighs about two-fifty."

The Terminator wanted to get the man into the van.

"I work out." The Terminator said. "He weighs two hundred and forty seven pounds."

The Terminator carried the man to the van and placed him in the passenger seat.

The worker seemed satisfied everything was under control. He threw the box of trash he was holding into the dumpster and returned inside of the building.

The Terminator drove the van out of the alley. He saw the worker look out the door as he passed by. He turned back onto the street the van had come down only a few minutes before.

CamNet informed him thirty seconds later the worker dialed 911. She handled the call and took care of everything. She told him the drone would remain over the SUV to make sure no one approached it. She wanted to know the status of the individual he'd taken into custody.

The Terminator reached over and touched the man again. It seemed his heart rate slowed significantly. There was most likely some type of internal damage. There was probably a major vein which was ruptured somewhere in his body. When he was moved to the van it probably worsened the condition. He was slowly bleeding to death internally.

He drove the van to another location similar to the one he'd parked his SUV at. It was approximately a half of a mile away. It seemed unlikely the man would recover to be questioned. He snapped his neck and moved his body over the rear seat. He put some of the boxes on top of it to cover it. He locked the van. He looked at the front of the van. It had a metal bumper on it. He placed the keys on the inner left side of the front bumper.

The drone over his SUV would take over patrol duty of the van. CamNet wanted what was in the van. She was still short on Terminators right now because of the ongoing Resistance operations underway. They seemed to be escalating. She didn't want to leave any of the team's short. It looked as if several of them were going to need assistance. None of them requested it yet. Things looked a little sketchy.

CamNet's Terminator kept track of where the attacker was at. He was very near the building he'd attacked earlier. He was a little surprised when the attacker changed his direction.

The attacker decided to go back to the building. He would fire another rocket at it. He needed to decide from where he was going to do it this time. He looked over the damage to his car as he drove. He thought it was probably a good time to dump it and get another one.

He was very near the building when he decided he wanted a different vehicle for sure. He headed back to the building which exploded earlier. There was still another one their vehicles parked close to it. If he didn't see any emergency vehicles around it, he would simply pull up behind it and then drive away in it. It should also have more weapons in it.

The attacker neared the location of where the first incident occurred. He didn't want to get too close. He didn't see any fire trucks or police cars as he approached. He was more worried about the police than the fire department. He stayed away from the streets closest to where the attack occurred. He spotted the second vehicle from his team. It was the team which had gone in on foot earlier.

He pulled up behind it. So far he hadn't spotted many people at all. No one seemed to pay him any attention. He got out of his vehicle and went to the other one. His keys opened the trunk. He could see there were more rockets in the back of it. There were also several blocks of C-4 with detonators and timers. He was pleased with what he'd found. It also made him think about his fallen comrades. There was nothing he could do for them at this point. He looked over in the direction where the attack occurred. There was still smoke drifting up. He wasn't going to get closer for a better look.

The attacker went back to his vehicle. He removed the launcher from his vehicle and quickly moved it to the other vehicle. He went back to the vehicle to get his assault rifle. He took a moment to look at his vehicle. There were a dozen dents in the top of the hood with six holes among them. The front windshield had six bullet holes in it. The top of the roof had half a dozen dents in it along with two holes. He wasn't sure what type of weapon was used on him. He wondered if it was some type of M203 grenade launcher. Maybe it was a buckshot round.

The damage to the vehicle troubled him. He took his assault rifle and a few other things from his vehicle. He wouldn't return to it. He thought about lighting it on fire. It would destroy any evidence. He could see smoke start to drift out of the six holes in the top of the hood. It looked like the burning situation would take care of itself. He quickly hurried back to the other car and drove off.

He was soon near the other location. He stopped two blocks short. He was to the rear of it currently. He looked around and didn't spot anyone. He went to the rear of the car and opened the trunk. There was a pack in the back. He carefully put three of the rockets into it. He also took two of the packets of explosives and placed them inside as well.

It was time to take action. He drove back to the street behind the target building. He stopped two buildings to the east from where he'd been parked before. It put the building behind the target building between him and the building with the dog. He still thought about killing it. His ankles hurt severely. He checked them again. There was no fresh blood. He touched his neck and it wasn't bleeding any longer either.

He put the pack on his back and picked up the grenade launcher. There was currently a rocket propelled grenade in it. He approached the fence on the far side of the building. He didn't know it was exactly the same spot the Terminator used to go over the fence previously.

The attacker shook the gate several times to make sure there was no dog there. None appeared. He put the rocket launcher and the pack over the fence. He climbed up over it and collected everything. He carefully moved along the side of the building to the rear of it. He took one look around and in back of it. It was clear. He moved along the eastern fence to the rear wall. As soon as he arrived at the rear wall, he moved along it until he reached the corner on the west side. Once he was there, he had a clear view of the building. He could see the roll up door was down in the back. He looked for a sniper anywhere in the back or on the roof. He couldn't see one.

He carefully looked over the fence and saw the body of his teammate was gone. It wasn't where he'd been shot at. He figured those inside of the building must have retrieved it. It occurred to him now he probably should have removed the phone and any other information from the man's body before he'd taken off. He didn't. He'd been in too big of a hurry to get away. If he hadn't moved when he did, his body would be somewhere else right now as well.

The attacker took one more look at the building. He took off the pack and carefully laid out the other three rockets. He decided he would fire all four of them at the building and then withdraw.

CamNet followed the actions going on in the various different operations. She was a little concerned about Allison and Vanna being out in the field. She knew the Reese brothers were out as well. She understood why they were there and what their concern was. It was her concern as well. It was why she was conducting her current operations off the books, even if they were Resistance related. She wanted to give Savannah and Young Allison a break.

She currently followed the action occurring with the B-25. She'd provided Cameron with the surface target on the water earlier. It was something she'd spotted from one of the satellites overhead.

CamNet directed her male Terminator to move within a few blocks of where the attacker currently was now behind the target building. Her main concern was the operation near where her two female Terminators were at.

Lena and Tina quickly formulated a plan with CamNet. The drone which scouted in front of them, found a location they could use. They might be able to make the future a little safer going forward.

It was still a distance in front of them. They were more concerned about the Gray behind them. So far the drone scouting in front of them hadn't detected a probable location yet. They also monitored where the female Fanatic and her accomplice were at.

Jill couldn't believe what was happening. It was like her worst nightmare.

Her eyes opened and she gasped for air. She quickly sat up and looked around her.

The female Fanatic glanced back.

"Is everything OK?" The female Fanatic asked.

Jill could feel her heart pounding. She drew in a series of rapid breaths. She looked all around them again.

She realized it was just a dream. No, it wasn't a dream, it was her worst nightmare.

"I'm fine." Jill said. "I just had a dream. It was sort of a nightmare."

Jill didn't want to get explicit. She checked her body again to make sure she was fully clothed, she was. She had her knife and her pistol. The other weapons were on the floor next to her.

The female Fanatic understood the nightmare part. She was sure it was because of the sleep deprivation. Depending upon how things unfolded, she would probably take the anti drowsy medicine along with several of the energy drinks they currently had. It should prevent her from dozing off for a while. When she did, she would recommend them to Jill as well.

"I've had a few of those myself." The female Fanatic said. "I know you've been through a lot in the last few days. Hopefully we can get you some closure and find the other truck drivers. If we can, we'll kill them. It will take care of all of the men who've abused you."

The female Fanatic knew it would never be enough to get the event out of Jill's mind. All of her abuses were still vivid in her mind if she thought about them. It was a very traumatic and invasive experience to go through.

Jill doubted they would ever be closure in her mind. It was one of the reasons why she'd signed on with Jackie. She was very dissatisfied with the direction her life was going. She was extremely traumatized about what was done to her. The dream she'd just experienced didn't help any either.

"I appreciate your help." Jill said. "It's our duty to stop the terrorists. They may be from the future, but what they want to do is still an act of terror. I understand there's a good chance neither one of us will survive. So be it. I'll ask you again, if I'm wounded and can't go on, for you to finish it for me. I don't want them to get me. I don't want to be alive anyway when they do. I don't know much about SkyMaster, but it sounds like it's trying to help. I know you're trying to help. I'll do whatever I can to assist you."

The female Fanatic was very pleased to hear of Jill's renewed commitment. They would both do SkyMaster's work for as long as they could. She doubted it would be much longer.

Dessert Was Dandy

Things become mundane without change
Change is seldom easy or smooth
When one takes the wrong path
There will be little to sooth

One trapped in a bubble
Creates their own hard shell
They can turn what was once Heaven
Into a never ending Hell

Life is about choices
Not all of them are wise
Perhaps some of the mistakes
Were because no one heard their cries

To see, hear and feel
Is different than to act
Like a wayward magnet
Many things it will attract

Other things one must consume
It's not all cake and candy
Remember the good times
When desert was dandy

Nobody
