Chapter 1484

On Off Days

The team was on the tarmac of the Warbird friendly airport at Madera. They could hear the sound of a truck approaching.

A fuel truck pulled up.

Cameron directed him where to park first.

She let Savannah and Camille show Young Jesse how to fuel the plane.

It left Young Allison and Anna to watch.

Cameron could see having Young Jesse and Young Allison both out with Savannah was a mistake. Savannah couldn't devote herself to either one of them like she wanted to do. It seemed Savannah focused on her instead. It bothered her. It made her feel disruptive.

It bothered her because she wanted Savannah's attention and love. She knew Savannah's love belonged elsewhere. Then again, Savannah never treated her like a machine, ever.

Cameron walked up to Anna and told her to join the others refueling the plane. She then reached down and took Young Allison's hand. They both looked at each other with their big brown eyes.

Young Alison didn't want Cameron to worry about her.

"It's hard for me, but I understand everything." Young Allison said.

Young Allison smiled at Cameron and squeezed her hand.

"I really don't know how this will all play out." Cameron said.

Young Allison wanted to make a point.

"I do." Young Allison said. "It will play out just like it is in your future. It will be exactly the same for us but we will have Anna and Cammy there for us on off days."

Cameron was aware it was another problem she'd created by 'giving' Cammy to Savannah and Anna to Young Allison. They were the Terminator versions of the girl's true love. She really wasn't sure what would happen going forward or not. She felt there were 'temporal tides' and certain things always seemed to play out the same way eventually. She thought Skynet was a good example. No matter how many times it was destroyed, there always seemed to be another version of it spring back up. It was like some convoluted 'Jack In The Box'. She didn't think she had control of anything.

"I really wish I knew what would happen and when." Cameron said.

Cameron didn't see any reason why Young Allison and Savannah couldn't be together. Young Allison was old enough now.

"Would you like to be with Savannah?" Cameron asked.

Young Allison felt her heart skip a beat. She also knew what was necessary. Sacrifice was the true test of love.

"You should be with her first, Cameron." Young Allison said. "I think it's what you need."

Cameron was really unsure about what would happen.

"Thank you." Cameron said. "I think it will be Savannah who decides what's best for all of us."

Young Allison wasn't so sure. She felt it was all up to Cameron.

'We can be together.' Young Allison thought.

It would be something beautiful.

"We'll share too one day." Young Allison said.

Cameron smiled.

"It's the 'Natural Order'." Cameron said.

Young Allison felt it couldn't happen soon enough.

"Yes it is." Young Allison said.

Anna looked back when Cameron 'sent her away'. She didn't like it. Now Cameron and Young Allison held hands. It bothered her more.

Savannah could see Anna looked a little distressed.

"Everyone knows their place." Savannah said.

Anna was a little put off by her statement.

"I know you believe it because I have your files from the 'Neural Interface'." Anna said.

Anna just didn't know if it was the right choice.

Savannah wanted everyone to choose for themselves.

"You can't restrict her development." Savannah said. "It will come back to bite you."

Anna felt very conflicted. It seemed to her she had a good reason to have her thoughts.

"I have my feelings, I have Cameron's feelings and I have your feelings." Anna said.

Savannah smiled and kissed her on the cheek.

"It's a lot of feelings." Savannah said. "You'll still be her first Metal girl."

Anna smiled. It was a pleasant thought for her. She thought it would be even more pleasant for Savannah.

"I want the honor very much." Anna said. "You'll be her first."

Savannah felt she'd been very flexible.

"I still give her room to grow for when the time comes, and it's what she really wants." Savannah said.

Anna knew it was.

"I can assure you it's her desire." Anna said.

Savannah looked at Young Allison and Cameron together.

Anna saw where she looked and she took Savannah's hand.

"You will be my second." Anna said.

Savannah looked over Anna's youthful appearance.

"Will it be with the same appearance?" Savannah asked.

Anna looked down at the front of herself and then at Savannah. Her age regression bothered her some when Cameron first forced her to do it. She didn't see it as a problem any longer. She'd long since started the clock forward again.

"Yes." Anna said. "It seems to be very popular."

Savannah thought about copping a feel right now.

"Now you're just trying to tease me." Savannah said.

There were times when Savannah wished she still looked the same way. Life was much simpler then.

Young Jesse and Camille finished with the refueling. She noted Cameron and Young Allison were back by the building and held hands. She also saw Anna and Savannah held each other's hand.

Camille didn't think it was anything for Young Jesse to concern herself with.

"It's nothing to worry about." Camille said. "You're the only one of the three who's been in Savannah's bed."

Young Jesse smiled. She'd been able to make the rounds with the girls.

"I've been with most everyone now." Young Jesse said. "I understand how it works and we're lovers over all of them."

Camille gave Young Jesse a kiss.

The fuel tanker driver watched them and wondered where the pilot was at for the Mitchell. It did seem these girls knew everything about the plane and taking care of it. He really wondered about those two sets of sisters. They sure looked at each other with loving eyes. They looked identical too. One of each of them was just a little younger looking.

He was paid top dollar on this gig not to ask questions and bring the best grade of gasoline. He got back in his truck and looked at his phone. There was a thousand dollar tip on it now for not asking questions or 'looking' intently at the girls there.

Sometimes it paid off to follow the rules.

He still couldn't decide which one he would like to 'do' the most…. He kind of liked the younger redhead.

Samantha was a little miffed at Riley still for being with John. She didn't know it didn't actually happen. She incorrectly believed it did and it influenced her decisions.

She headed straight for John's room. She was going to go by and see Claire but she decided to cash in her 'one time' with John like Cameron promised her.

She arrived at John's door and opened it. Right away she could hear there were three people in there already.

What?

She listened and could tell it was Claire, Jesse and John.

Was Riley part of some 'four way'?

Those were the sounds she heard earlier.

Wait!

Maybe it never was Riley with John.

It was possible Riley did exactly what she'd just done right now.

Samantha moved up to the corner and peeked one eye around it.

Jesse and Claire shared as John watched them. They were really going at it too.

Maybe not everything was as it seemed.

Samantha decided to make a hasty retreat before she got caught.

She made it to the door and looked out.

She specifically looked to see if Riley spied on her from where she'd spied on Riley at. It looked clear.

Samantha slipped out of John's Room

Maybe now was her chance to be with Riley. If Riley just watched what she did, then it would explain her high state of sexual arousal.

She decided to go back to Riley's room.

Riley was a little upset because Samantha was curt with her.

Maybe she knew she'd been with Claire and Sarah.

It's not like she'd done anything different than anyone else did around there. Why should she always need to be treated differently? She felt alive again now. She felt whole again.

Where did Samantha go anyway?

Riley carried Precious with her and decided to go out and look for her.

She went the back way by all of the girl's rooms. They were all quiet. She went up the far hall past the lab. It was dark. The infirmary was dark. She came up to Claire's room and it was empty. She already knew where Claire and Jesse were. It was quiet in the rec room. She just looked in the Control Center for a second. She found Jan and Summer in there playing computer games with John Henry. It's what she thought they were doing anyway. The commissary was dark and empty.

Samantha was now in the hall in front of her. She must have just come out of John's room. Did they just pull a 'four way'? It didn't seem like enough time to do much. Then again, John could have knocked one off in a few minutes. She was well aware guys could finish really fast sometimes. She thought it must be nice. The only good part about it was, it cut down on the duration of the abuse in the future. Some of those were as short as thirty seconds.

Riley went into the commissary for now. She looked out and Samantha stood in front of Sarah's door for a little bit. It looked like she wanted to go in but she didn't. Samantha finally moved on.

Great, Samantha was going to find out she was gone from the room now. As soon as Samantha went into the nursery, she hurried back towards her room.

She went in the main door. She could hear Samantha was still in the nursery. She went and put Precious in her crib, she was already asleep.

Riley turned around and Samantha was there. It startled her slightly.

"How's Precious?" Samantha asked.

Riley gently touched Precious' cheek.

"She's asleep." Riley said.

Samantha moved out of the way as Riley approached.

Riley wanted to tell Samantha she wanted to be with her.

Samantha wanted to tell Riley she wanted to be with her.

They passed by each other.

Samantha went into the room and stood in the corner and went into standby. It was less painful that way.

Riley walked away and then came back. She saw Samantha was already in standby. It looked like there was a tear on Samantha's cheek.

Jim, Kyle and Derek moved to intercept the sedan which approached the area. They were unsure of its destination. It looked like the janitorial front first, and then the florist shop. Now it looked like it was back to the janitorial front.

The occupants of the sedan could see the smoke from the vicinity. They were unable to reach anyone by phone at this point. They'd also lost all surveillance footage at both locations.

Jim wanted them to play it by the book. He didn't want the Reese brothers endanger needlessly, especially on his watch. He'd taken damage for both of them before. He would do it again if he needed to.

"The targets will be armed and ready to fight." Jim said.

Derek and Kyle were ready.

"Let's show them how we do it in the future." Kyle said.

Derek looked forward to teaching some street thugs a lesson in combat.

"I hear you, bro." Derek said.

The drone footage showed they were two blocks away from the intercept point.

"I see them." Jim said.

Derek looked at a satellite photo of where they were headed.

"If they go into the back of the building, we'll take them there." Derek said.

Kyle didn't want to make a big event out of it.

"We'll hit them hard and leave." Kyle said.

Jim hoped to leave a tidier incident scene. The more which was thoroughly destroyed, the fewer questions anyone would ask later.

"We'll see." Jim said.

Jim stayed a block behind the thugs.

They watched them pull into the rear parking lot where the vans were previously parked. The drone footage showed them get out of the car. It looked like they were going to try and enter the building.

Derek saw it as their opportunity to hit them. They were most vulnerable on foot.

"Let's take them." Derek said.

Jim pulled into the rear parking lot and sped straight towards the men. Derek and Kyle leaned out both sides of the SUV and fired at them.

Both men reached for weapons as the SUV closed on them. They didn't even have time to 'clear leather'. They both fell from the well directed gunfire.

Jim stopped.

Derek and Kyle checked the car. Jim checked the two downed men. He tossed both of them inside the burning building. He'd collected their weapons and phones first.

The finished the search of the car.

"The car is clear." Derek called out.

Kyle wanted to see what was in the trunk.

Derek actuated the release inside the passenger compartment.

Kyle held his M4 ready when the trunk popped open.

"Clear." Kyle called out.

Jim collected any data from the car to see who owned it and where they were based out of.

They received a new warning.

"You have another sedan headed your way." Summer said. "It will be there in two minutes."

The three of them quickly formulated a plan.

Laura followed the other van with 'Mysti' and 'Lisa' in it. She was able to make all the lights and stay with the van. She didn't have any more green to yellow to green lights. They were just all green lights.

Gail drove the van. Holly was in the front seat with her. She looked in her mirror.

"Mary's car is still with us." Gail said. "CamNet is allowing her to follow us."

Holly thought it was a good thing. They wouldn't have to boost a vehicle once they dumped the van. It would save them some time.

"We can use her car to get back to the others." Holly said.

She drove to the nearest hospital and parked near the emergency room.

Laura watched them pull into the hospital. She thought one of the girls was injured. The thought caused her a great amount of fear. She was going to hang back and watch but she was worried about the girls. She pulled right up next to them. It was time to get involved. Leticia and Mary both already had done it.

"How can I help?" Laura asked.

Holly was pleased to see she'd acted.

"Get out and come to the side." Holly said.

Laura put the car in 'park' and got out.

"Who's hurt?" Laura asked.

Gail opened up the side door on the van

"They are." Gail said.

Laura looked at the six girls in the back of the van. They were all drugged but starting to move around.

"Are those sex slaves?" Laura asked.

Holly hoped they would remain out of sexual servitude.

"They were, but not anymore." Holly said. "They're free now."

Gail moved towards Mary's car.

"Let's go." Gail said and got into the driver's seat.

Laura looked at the girls and the hospital.

"Are you just going to leave them?" Laura asked.

Holly got in the front seat of Mary's car.

"Most of them will choose not to seek medical attention or go to the police." Holly said. "Get in."

Laura looked at the girls again and got in the back seat of Mary's car. She wasn't about to protest since 'Lisa' was behind the wheel. There was usually a stern look on her face. One was there now.

"They were all moving around." Laura said. "I can see you've done this before."

Gail wanted to give her a brief explanation using the code names of the girls.

"Sue, Peggy, Ann and Barbara usually do most of the work." Gail said. "We were extra, so we took the girls where they could get help if they wanted it."

Laura could see they were no strangers to danger. She couldn't imagine being a sex slave. She was glad those girls were freed. She looked at Gail and Holly.

"Who are you?" Laura asked.

Holly looked back and smiled.

"We're the good guys." Holly said.

Laura was worried about Mary and Leticia.

"We need to get back to the flower shop." Laura said. "Leticia went to help 'Sue' earlier. Mary went to search for Leticia. They may be in danger."

Holly knew it was dangerous for the girls to be where they were. There was help on the way.

"Sue and the girls are almost there." Holly said.

Laura couldn't help but think about what she'd read. Were any of these girls' robots? No, it wasn't robots, it was cyborgs. She'd been with all of them. They all seemed like human females to her.

'What are you?' Was what Laura wanted to ask.

She looked over Holly and Gail in detail since she was behind them. None of them looked like 'robots' to her.

Gail made all the lights on the way back.

Laura noticed how the traffic flow worked to 'Lisa's' advantage. She'd followed them and pulled up to see if she could help. She wondered what would have happened if she wasn't there.

"What would you have done if I hadn't showed up?" Laura asked.

Gail looked back at her.

"We would have 'borrowed' a car from someone." Gail said.

Laura didn't think 'borrowed' was actually the correct term.

"Do you mean you'd steal it?" Laura asked.

Holly knew they didn't keep the 'borrowed' cars long.

"It's more a matter of perception as opposed to definition." Holly said. "Everyone gets their car back, or is justly compensated for it."

Laura wasn't really sure what she meant. She could see 'Lisa's' face as she drove. There was no expression on it. Then again, she wasn't very outgoing, except in bed.

She looked over 'Lisa' and 'Mysti'. They both wore vests and they were armed. It was how she'd observed them through the fence earlier. It was clear they expected they would encounter gunfire. She thought about Leticia's earlier warning to them. Leticia warned Mary and her if they learned too much, the 'secret girls' would have to get rid of them. The words just sort of slipped out.

"Are you going to kill me?" Laura asked.

Gail and Holly both turned around.

"What?" They both asked.

Laura wanted to know. She asked again.

"Are you going to kill me now?" Laura asked.

Gail looked a little concerned.

"No." Gail said.

Holly wasn't sure where the question came from. Everyone cared for the girls from the ship.

"Why would we do that?" Holly asked. "We love all of you to death."

Holly could see the fear in Laura's face with the last statement.

"I mean we love all of you a lot." Holly said as she smiled at Laura.

Gail looked over and smiled too.

Laura was still worried. 'Lisa' sure did look pretty when she smiled though….

Leticia heard the muffled scream from inside the florist shop and ran past the two buildings towards the alley. She ran around the second building and through the alley to the back of the florist shop. There was a dark sedan parked there and another van like the one she saw the girls in earlier. This one was painted a different base color.

There were some little sheds up against the back of the building and a dumpster. There was another muffled scream. She could hear voices inside. She calmed her breathing some to listen. Her heart beat really fast though.

"Shut up, Bitch." The male voice said.

There were two dull 'thud' noises and some whimpering. It sounded as if someone was hit in the back with a fist.

"Something is happening at the other place." A female voice said.

"Guido and Luwegie will take care of it." The male voice said. "I want to get this Bitch broken in. She is going to learn how to 'smoke', even if it takes all night."

There was another dull 'thud' and some additional whimpering.

"Just do what he says." A female voice said.

There was a long pause.

"Stay with it until you get him there." A female voice said. "That's it…. That's it…. Swallow. All of it. Good girl. Now smile at him like you enjoyed it."

"That was more like it, Bitch." The male voice said. "Now get up on the bed. Not on your knees this time. OK, Sam, it's your turn."

Leticia could only picture what must be going on in there.

"Hey!" A female whispered.

Leticia was startled. She looked in the opposite direction from the way she'd come.

Bob, Allison and Vanna hurried to get to the florist shop.

"There's a drone over her." Allison said.

Bob didn't want her to get overconfident.

"It can only do so much from high altitude." Bob said. "She's in too close for the drone to use its weapons safely from its height."

"Just get there. We'll pull her out." Vanna said. "I want you to remain in the SUV, Allison."

Allison didn't want to get sidelined, again.

"I want to help." Allison said.

Bob wanted to lead the action. Allison could still help in another way.

"I'll get out and you can take over the wheel." Bob said.

Allison didn't like being pushed away.

"I can fight too." Allison said.

Allison received a com transmission. She was more than a little surprised at the 'command' she'd just been given.

"You will drive now instead." Summer said. "Let Bob do his job."

Allison didn't think the transmission went to anyone else. It was directed to her specifically so it wouldn't be a big deal for other people to hear. She also knew it was the correct decision for the circumstances. There was a Terminator with them. They could do a lot on their own. It would also give Vanna better protection when they acted. She still wanted one thing out of it.

"OK." Allison said. "But I get to drive all the way home."

Maybe the real danger level hadn't even begun.

Mary went to search for Leticia. She headed straight for the flower shop. She felt responsible for Leticia being there in the first place. Leticia told them it was a bad idea to get involved. Now they were all in it deep.

She watched Laura drive away in her car.

She was convinced it was all a really bad idea at this point.

Mary cut down a street which brought her up on the west side of the flower shop. She saw Leticia in front of the flower shop but it looked locked. She watched Leticia head for the east side of the street. She was probably going to come in the alley from the back.

She headed for the alley from the west side. She could get there quicker from her position. She ran across the street. A car honked at her. It didn't slow down. It almost hit her. The driver yelled at her and cussed. She flipped him off.

She made it to the alley entrance and saw Leticia already there. She was in back of the flower shop. She then moved off to the side.

Damn.

Mary ran down the length of the alley. She slowed as she spotted another van and a sedan parked in the back.

Thank God!

There was Leticia.

Wait.

It looked like Leticia tried to open a window.

"Hey!" Mary called out in a whisper.

Summer sent what help she could to Leticia.

There were three teams on the way right now.

John Henry watched her, but didn't say anything.

She just kept acting on her own. She needed to make sure the Resistance forces were protected too.

Allison needed a little reminder about what was necessary and what wasn't. Summer didn't hesitate to tell her. It was the correct call. It didn't seem to bother her it was her older, older sister.

Bob's team dealt with one threat and now faced another challenge.

Summer tried to stay on top of everything. So far she'd kept all the drones at fifty thousand feet because it was daylight. If things heated up for any of the Resistance teams, she would take the risk and drop some down to twenty five thousand feet. It was still five miles high in the sky.

She asked CamNet to clear the airspace all the way down to the deck.

Sheila, Ally and Hanna were in the back of the van. Cam and Cammy were in the front. They were headed to the florist's shop.

Summer filled all of them in as to what was happening.

They didn't like the crew which showed up after they'd left the janitorial front. Jim, Derek and Kyle needed to deal with it. It looked like there was a second crew headed there now too.

Bob, Vanna and Allison were almost to the florist shop where Leticia was at. Mary was there now too.

They were still a few minutes out.

Sheila asked Bob to pick up Leticia and Mary and hold them nearby. The Metal girls and her would deal with the florist shop and those inside it.

Gail and Holly might end up at either location depending on what else happened.

Cam thought the involvement by the girls from the ship went too far, too fast. Sheila told them earlier when they'd found out the girls were spying on them, she wanted to see how far they would go.

"Is this what you planned on?" Cam asked.

Sheila didn't know what she'd expected. She didn't think the girls would cut and run. So far they hadn't. They'd actually gone a little further than she'd anticipated. They were in a position to engage the enemy. There was only one problem. They weren't armored up, and they didn't have any weapons.

"I really don't know." Sheila said. "I just wanted to test them."

Hanna wasn't so sure it worked out too well so far. She understood CamNet needed to be a party to everything they were doing.

"Maybe it's really a test for us." Hanna said.

Sarah tried to rest. She felt restless. She really couldn't explain it. She still couldn't believe what she'd done. She didn't feel 'guilty' about it at all. She felt the intense desire to do more and be with the same people again.

She needed to check on Jan.

Sarah left her room and headed out. She looked back towards the hall with the girl's rooms and at Derek and Riley's room. She took a deep breath and moved on towards the rec room in the other direction. She passed John's room. She thought about listening but kept moving. She wouldn't want him to listen to her.

Maybe she would make a quick stop by the Command Center to see what Kyle was up to. It would give her an idea of how much 'free time' she might still have. Jan should be nearby.

CamNet's Terminator decided he would go in the front door. He carried two Thermite grenades and his silenced M9. He wore his vest underneath a windbreaker. It would make it less obvious he wore one. He wasn't going against a hardened target which was prepared to deal with a Terminator. They wouldn't even know what a Terminator was.

He could see there were several security cameras on the building. CamNet assured him she controlled their system. All they would see was a looped feed. He should be able to walk right up to the front door unopposed.

He was about to operate as a Terminator was constructed to do. Their main goal was to get inside of the enemy camps in the future. Once they were inside, there were a lot of soft targets which could be terminated before any effective response could be mounted.

CamNet's Terminator took one look around him as he approached the front door. No one else was spotted. He reached for the door handle.

CamNet directed Tina and Lena to continue on their slow ride forward. They would need to wait for the female Fanatic to make her move and turn after the Gray. They also needed to determine what the rest of the group of bikers was going to do.

They could see the five motorcycles close in on their position rapidly. They would be there in a few more minutes. They would need to deal with them and then go back and join the pursuit of the Gray and the female Fanatic.

It looked like they were going to have another obstacle in front of them when they did. The main body of bikers took off in the direction of the female Fanatic. It was most likely the direction they all wanted to go. The six bikers on the five motorcycles were sent out to specifically put the grab on them.

The drone which went in the direction they were going earlier returned. So did the other one which went the opposite way the bikers, the female Fanatic and the Gray went. The third drone, on the route the Gray was headed, still search ahead of him.

The drone with them located an area which would be best suited for them to deal with the six bikers who'd closed in on them. They would need to pick their pace up a little bit, or the bikers would catch up to them before they reached the turn off onto a dirt road.

Lena and Tina looked at the image the drone selected for them. It was a good killing zone.

They decided to wait a little bit before they picked up the speed. They wanted the bikers to have them in sight so it looked like they were trying to run. It would ensure the bikers chased after them, if they were going to try to put the grab on them.

Tina checked her side view mirror.

"They're closing fast." Tina said.

Lena glanced in her rear view mirror. She tracked the bikers both visually, and with the drone footage. She wanted to make their 'escape' look good. When the bikers were approximately a quarter of a mile behind them, she started to pick the speed up. She quickly began to pull away from the bikers. When the bikers realized they were trying to run, they picked up their speed. She let them close a little bit more before she floored it.

The turnoff for the dirt road was one mile ahead. Lena stayed on the gas until right before the turn off. She braked hard to slow the vehicle before she made the turn. The bikers closed up a little more. She turned onto the dirt road and picked up the speed. There was a big cloud of dust generated behind her. The drone image showed the bikers made the turn as well. It was their action now, which sealed the biker's fate. They'd needed to slow some since they couldn't see in front of them very far with all of the dust.

Lena could see the bikers were falling behind. She slowed down a little bit. The amount of dust they generated was cut dramatically. She waited until the bikers were about to emerge from the dust cloud they were in, into the area where there was much less dust. She punched it right before the biker's could see a little better, it generated another massive dust cloud.

They soon reached the remains of a building. It was constructed of adobe. There wasn't much left. There was one wall and parts of two walls which angled up to it. The fourth wall was completely gone. It wasn't the building they were interested in. It was the abandoned well near it which they wanted.

They could soon hear the bikers were near through the haze of the dust which permeated the area.

Lena and Tina exited the vehicle and prepared to 'welcome' their 'guests'.

The female Fanatic and Jill kept the Gray in sight. They didn't know what was behind them any longer, because of the hills.

"I haven't seen anyone yet." Jill said.

The female Fanatic continued to look behind them. She figured when they did, it was going to be bad news.

"They'll be here soon enough." The female Fanatics said. "I'll deal with them. You just need to worry about driving."

Jill was worried about more than driving. Her dream was still very fresh in her mind. It was very vivid. It seemed like more than a dream. Maybe what was about to happen, was actually déjà vu. She didn't know. Maybe it was a premonition. Maybe it was a warning. No. She knew it was her lifestyle about to catch up with her. She was actually surprised she'd made it as long as she had on the street. She wanted to refocus her mind.

"Are we going to follow the Gray in, wherever he goes, or try and make a clandestine approach as we've done previously?" Jill asked.

The female Fanatic would rather not make a direct approach. She'd be able to kill a few of the Grays, but she probably wouldn't be able to destroy much equipment. Her goal was to hurt Skynet. The way she could hurt Skynet, was to destroy its equipment.

"I would like to use a more clandestine approach." The female Fanatic said. "I've been very lucky at the last few locations I visited. I was able, and then we were able, to get inside unobserved and be able to do a lot of damage."

Jill didn't think it seemed they would be able to escape from this encounter. Then again, maybe they would. They'd gotten out of the mine and the building near the railroad tracks. She'd been rescued from the warehouse at the end of the dirt road. She just knew she was going to stick with Jackie, even if it was the end of the road. She owed her life to her. She intended to cover the tab.

The female Fanatic continued to look behind them as they tracked the Gray in front of them.

Cameron and Young Allison headed back towards the hotel. They heard the sound of another freight train, as they walked. They spotted it in the near distance. It went the opposite direction.

Young Allison glanced over and frowned.

Cameron noticed.

"It's not too late to change your mind." Cameron said. "We can always go to a different establishment."

Young Allison knew they only had a certain amount of cash. Once they got to one of the safe houses in the Los Angeles area, money wouldn't be a problem. She was pretty sure Cammy and Sheila made more than a few 'collections' against the Syndicate in the past.

It was at some point in the late fifties when Cammy and Sheila put the grab on a Hydrogen Bomb. It was a big one too. She was aware at one point Cammy wanted to use the H-Bomb they'd 'borrowed' from the nuclear test site, on Las Vegas itself. It was only about seventy miles away. It literally would have wiped it off of the map forever. It would have been nothing but a smoking hole in the ground. Instead the H-Bomb ended up in the bottom of a mine in the Nevada desert. It was exploded when she was in her original timeline.

Skynet, and the group of Gray's who set up shop in the mine, had no idea there was an H-Bomb waiting for them. When they tried to get a hold of Cobalt to create a C-Bomb, was when the H-Bomb was detonated.

Cammy was constructed with two chip ports and two power cells. One of her power cells served as the 'battery' for the timer. Things were cut a little close at the point it was detonated. The exploding power cell helped contribute to the blast. The entire mountain collapsed in on itself. The Cobalt was destroyed before it could become a Cobalt Bomb. Young Allison needed to focus. Her mind was drifting. She really would like to get cleaned up and lay down.

"I think I'm good where we're at." Young Allison said. "What are you going to do when I'm asleep?"

A few risque thoughts quickly popped into Cameron's mind. She decided not to voice them. She wanted to mess with Young Allison a little bit.

"I figured I could head to the shady part of town and get a job in a strip club for the night." Cameron said. "I could pick us up some extra cash. I wouldn't have to terminate anyone to do it."

Cameron was pretty sure anything she did in the past, would be what they already knew from their current timeline in the future. There was also the possibility it wouldn't be. She didn't think terminating any lowlifes would really matter, one way or the other. Then again, the lack of second shooter at the grassy knoll, would have made a difference.

Young Allison wanted Cameron to use caution. She knew she wouldn't hesitate to bust up anyone who accosted her. She was afraid if someone touched her, on whatever served as a stage in the strip club, it would lead to a termination. More than likely a few of the patrons were probably armed. If someone started shooting, Cameron would terminate everyone in the club. She didn't want Cameron's sheath to be damaged so soon. They hadn't even been in the past for ten hours yet.

"I don't think it's a good idea." Young Allison said.

Cameron looked at Young Allison and smiled.

"I fooled you again." Cameron said.

Young Allison smiled and giggled. Deep down she figured Cameron was probably serious. She could 'order' Cameron not to do it. She didn't want to. Savannah and her possessed the ability to 'order' any of the Terminators, as well as John Henry's server, JH, and CamNet, to do, or not do, something. They were all programmed to comply. Summer wasn't officially part of the 'Natural Order'. Everyone recognized her as being equal or superior to River for intelligence and ability.

"Let's just go back to the hotel." Young Allison said.

They entered the hotel and saw the desk clerk look at both of them again. He looked like he was about to say something.

Cameron glared at him. When she flashed a 'Terminator look', most people were smart enough not to say anything.

They went up the stairs and entered their room. Young Allison took off her dress.

"I'm going to take a shower." Young Allison said. "I need to take care of some personal business as well."

Cameron thought they could conserve water by showering together. Water wasn't a big problem in Texas.

Young Allison entered the bathroom and turned the water on. She took care of her other business as she waited for the hot water to arrive. She finished her shower and exited the bathroom wearing a towel.

"I guess I'll have to sleep in the buff." Young Allison said. "I don't want to wear my custodian clothes. They're a little dirty from the grassy knoll. I don't want to wrinkle my dress either."

Cameron didn't think it would matter.

"You'll be fine." Cameron said.

Young Allison looked out the window. It was dark outside. She could see the area where the railroad station was at. She went to the bed and opened it up. She took off the towel and folded it up. She put it on the nightstand next to the bed. She placed the Model 19 on top of it. She climbed in. She looked at Cameron a moment before she pulled the sheet up. She wasn't sure what she would dream about.

She was just about to close her eyes when she heard the loud blast of an air horn again. Her eyes shot wide open.

"Now I know why people who live near the railroad tracks have so many kids." Young Allison said.

Cameron tilted her head slightly.

"If they're awake and in bed, they might as well make productive use of the time before they fall back asleep." Cameron said. "It's an effective strategy."

Young Allison put her Model 19 under her pillow and closed her eyes. She was soon asleep.

Cameron quickly checked around the room to make sure there were no peepholes. She couldn't find any. She didn't trust the night clerk or any of his friends. She moved the wooden chair over to the door and wedged it under the door handle. They might still be able to open it, but it was going to make a lot of noise. Young Allison would be able to use her Model 19 on anyone who entered.

She quickly changed into her custodian's uniform. She hung her dress up in the closet next to Young Allison's dress. She went to the window and carefully opened it. She made her way out onto the ledge. They were on the second floor. She didn't see anyone around. She checked the drain pipe to see if it would support her weight. It would. She wouldn't need it to go down. She would only need it to come back up. She took one more look around and jumped down to the ground. She landed on her feet and quickly moved away. She carried her Government Model with her.

Young Allison opened her eyes and went to the window. She saw Cameron move towards the Thunderbird. She got into it and drove off.

She went over and checked the door. She could see it was secure. She climbed back into bed and pulled the sheet up again. She rolled over on her stomach and let her hand slide under the pillow. She felt the familiar grip of the K frame revolver in her hand.

Cameron made her way to the T-bird and climbed in. She glanced back up at the window she'd exited it from. She could see Young Allison look down at her. She acted like she didn't see her.

She fired up the big 406 and took off. There were a few things she planned to accomplish. Since she didn't sleep, she might as well make productive use of her time. It was what she did every night anyway. She really didn't like to lay in bed, stare at the ceiling, and listen to John snore. The repeated flatulence didn't help any either. She could only pleasure herself so many times. She was glad she got some of the other girls to help her out with the 'female duties' required by John.

Cameron drove by the railroad station. Things look pretty quiet around it. She drove once around the hotel. Everything appeared to be normal. She headed for the 'shady' part of town.

On Off Days

Nothing is accomplished by beating one down
It is much better to uplift and praise
There's more warmth to be found
In the sun's bright rays

Most of one's feelings
Pass through more than one phase

Most seem to grow and build
When a heart will no longer blaze

Who is the one to determine
Which feeling goes or stays
There's no future path
When there are secret ways

It's hurry up and wait
Then face and experience delays
What should be a straight line
Soon becomes a twisted maze

Be wary of making promises
Never say never or always
Things seldom go smoothly
When they happen on off days

Nobody
