Chapter 1488
Back To Where
Laura drove Mary's car with Cammy next to her. Cam was in the rear seat. She drove to the other hospital they'd first gone to. The van was still where they'd left it with the side door open.
Cam got out and looked around. She went into the van through the side door and closed it. Fifteen seconds later the van drove away. She'd left the keys in it so if anyone wanted it, they could have taken it. Apparently no one did.
Laura wondered what they were going to do with the van.
"What's with the van?" Laura asked.
The Resistance didn't like loose ends.
"We try to clean things up when we can." Cammy said.
Laura was a little concerned for the girls who'd been in it. Some of them looked pretty strung out. She'd done her share of drugs on the party scene. Some of those events got a little out of control. She was sure a lot of people took advantage of her. She really didn't even know.
"What happened to those girls who were in the van?" Laura asked.
Cammy never held high prospects for drug users. It seemed once one was afflicted by their own vices, it was incredibly difficult for them to break the habit.
"One of them may go back home and never tell anyone about this." Cammy said. "The others will probably end up back on the street. If they're lucky, one of them might seek rehab."
The prediction sounded grim to Laura. It seemed to her more people would try to help themselves.
"Is it the way it always is?" Laura asked.
One case stuck out in Cammy's mind.
"It pretty much is." Cammy said. "We freed one girl three times over the years."
Laura couldn't imagine living under such conditions. It seemed the same things happening over and over, would make someone want to change.
"What happened to her?" Laura asked.
Cammy felt it was a terrible waste.
"She died of an overdose." Cammy said. "It was probably suicide as much as an accident."
'Barbara' seemed pretty matter of fact about it all to Laura.
"Do you do this a lot?" Laura asked.
Cammy didn't want to get into specifics. Their main goal was to stop Skynet and any of his illegitimate offshoots. The 'off the books' operations were done in the slack time between missions. They indirectly dealt with future Scavengers. She didn't sleep, none of the Terminators did. They tried to make productive use of their time. Any other free time could be spent with the girls or each other.
"I really can't say." Cammy said. "You understand."
Laura swallowed hard. She didn't want to 'overstep'. She remembered what Leticia said, 'If you know too much, they'll need to kill you.'
"I know you mean to do some 'good' in a world where 'bad' is protected more than it's prosecuted." Laura said.
Laura wondered why some prosecutors and district attorneys, as well as a lot of politicians, thought criminals shouldn't be punished for their actions. It didn't make any sense to her. It appeared to her it was a relatively small group of the population which committed the crimes over and over. She wondered how many people died needlessly because some judge thought someone was a victim of their circumstances. She thought each person was responsible for the actions they committed. They weren't done by anyone else.
Cammy was aware of a whole lot of evil which existed now and in the future.
"You have no idea of the bad and evil out there." Cammy said. "Stay with the van."
Laura closed up on the 'other Barbara' in the van. She took 'this Barbara's' statement as the end of the conversation for right now. She wasn't about to push it and end up learning too much. She was aware of what happened when someone knew too much about spies or secret agents.
Cameron led the group away from the B-25 where it was parked on the tarmac at Castle Airport. They walked the short distance to the office and retail area of the air museum.
The group of girls drew some looks from those present. It wasn't unusual. For the casual observer, it appeared there was a set of twins, and their younger sister who appeared almost identical to them. There were also two other sisters who appeared to be nearly identical, only one looked slightly younger.
Cameron didn't want everyone to stare at them. She got right down to business.
"We're from the 'Cyndi Kate' foundation." Cameron said.
Right away, everyone in the office area sat up and looked busy and attentive. They were aware of the big contribution. They didn't want it to look like they weren't doing anything. They didn't want the contribution to be withdrawn or revoked.
Two men stepped forward. They both appeared very pleasant and personable.
"I'm Joe. This is Ted." Joe said. "We're your personal guides for today."
Cameron expected 'first class' service. She wanted to get everything out in the forefront.
"I want to make sure about our 'total access'." Cameron said.
Everyone at the museum knew the girls were to be treated as VIPs of the highest magnitude. The museum was to receive an additional donation if the girls were pleased with their treatment and experience. It would be a substantial donation if things went smoothly.
Ted smiled at everyone. He was aware the donation from the unknown Foundation would help them in many regards. He hoped it would also allow them to acquire some additional aircraft.
"You'll have complete run of the museum. The generous donation was a pleasant surprise and will help maintain the aircraft. The museum thanks your organization greatly." Ted said. "I have the keys, or tools needed, to get you into any of the aircraft."
Cameron introduced the group. She noticed Young Allison and Anna drew a lot of looks from Joe, Ted and everyone else.
"Some of the girls here are younger than they look." Cameron said quietly.
Joe glanced at Ted. It pretty much looked like all of them were to both of them. They weren't looking for any trouble. They didn't want to insult their benefactors.
"No problem." Joe said. "I'll keep everyone in line."
Ted jingled his keys.
"Follow me." Ted said.
He led them out to a small electric truck. There were several types of ladders on it. He could see them look the vehicle over. He wanted to assure them what everything was for.
"We'll need some of this equipment to access some of the aircraft. It's obviously easier to enter the aircraft that have a door or a hatch, than some of the aircraft which have a canopy only. Some of those will be more difficult to open."
Savannah didn't want it to be a problem. They didn't want to inconvenience anyone unnecessarily. Most of all, they didn't want to damage anything if it could be avoided.
"We'll show some moderation and restraint." Savannah said. "We're here to have a good time and not cause any difficulties. We'll listen to any suggestions or advice you have or want to offer."
Joe looked at Cameron and Camille, but not at Young Allison. He didn't want to seem presumptuous.
"I can see some of you are related." Joe said.
Cameron flashed her beautiful smile and touched Camille and Young Allison.
"Camille is my twin sister." Cameron said. "Allison is my younger sister."
Ted felt it was safe to comment on the younger sister at this time.
"She looks exactly like you, but just a little younger." Ted said.
Young Allison stood tall and tried to make herself more prominent.
"I'm catching up fast." Young Allison said. "We'll all look the same soon."
Joe and Ted quickly looked away from her. It was too easy to stare at her and keep looking.
Savannah wanted to refocus everyone's attention.
"My younger sister Anna, looks a lot like me too." Savannah said.
Young Jesse could see how easily it became for everyone to become distracted.
"I'm Jesse. I'm their friend from Down Under." Young Jesse said.
Ted wondered how old she was. It was a toss up. There was really no way to tell. He was aware Asian women looked ten years younger to Western eyes. There was one thing which did catch his attention, other than her appearance.
"I love your accent." Ted said.
Young Jesse wondered if she should offer an explanation or not.
"Thank you." Young Jesse said. "I'm just visiting my friends in the States. It looks like I'll make a couple more friends with you two nice gentlemen."
Ted nodded.
"Thank you." Ted said.
Joe led the group on foot, while Ted followed in the small electric truck.
They were soon at the first exhibit.
"We'll start out with the VC-9C Presidential Transport and then go to the SR-71 Blackbird." Joe said. "Ted will get it opened up for us."
Savannah wanted to save Ted a little effort.
"We only need the pilot's cockpit opened on the Blackbird." Savannah said. "None of us are 'rear seaters'."
Joe and Ted looked at each other but didn't comment. They weren't really sure what it meant. It seemed like a good idea not to ask.
There was already a stairway ramp in place at the VC-9C. It was basically a fancy DC-9 outfitted for light or regional governmental duty. It was nice and luxurious. The girls wanted to see the cockpit. They all spent time in the pilot's seat.
When they exited the VC-9C, Ted already opened the pilot's canopy on the SR-71 and placed one of the ladders on the side to allow easier access.
Cameron indicated for Young Jesse to go first up the ladder.
Young Jesse liked to show Cameron respect.
"You go first, Cameron." Young Jesse said.
Cameron smiled and went up. She sat down and looked over the controls. She was sure she could fly it without any trouble. She would need to watch the maneuvers at Mach 3.32. She was aware the A-12 and the YF-12A were slightly faster at Mach 3.35. She was aware everything could exceed whatever its rated limits were. There was some built in cushion on everything to prevent failure. She was pretty sure she could push any of them past Mach 3.5 in a shallow dive. She would need to watch the wingtips and not get them outside of the 'shock cone' of the aircraft.
The girls all took turns going up the ladder.
Savannah was the last one up.
Joe led them away and Ted closed the cockpit back up.
"Let's do the B-17 next." Young Allison said. "We can do the B-24 after it."
Joe liked her choice. He liked all of them. He needed to focus on her sisters.
They moved inside of the fenced off compound.
"The B-17 Flying Fortress is a 'G' model. The B-24 Liberator is a late production 'M' model variant." Joe said.
Ted looked pleased because most of the next aircraft all were fitted with a door or a hatch. He would need a ladder for some of the bigger planes later on.
The girls would enter the B-17 through the rear door. They looked over the tail gun position first. There was a small separate door for the position. The tail gun position didn't have quite as good of a view as the one on the Mitchell did. They moved up past the waist gun positions. They were staggered so there could be two gunners and not get in each other's way. Earlier models didn't have the stagger. It caused problems at times. There was more room inside the B-17 fuselage than on the Mitchell. They moved up through the fuselage. The ball turret below the aircraft was next. It was crowded to sit in it in the position required. They passed through a bulkhead into the radio compartment. There was the most room so far in this section. There was another bulkhead and they passed through the bomb bay on a catwalk.
Savannah noted the bomb bay was larger on the B-17 as compared to the B-25. It could carry a greater total overall bomb load of more than double the capacity of the Mitchell. She briefly wondered what it would be like to be on the catwalk with the bomb bay doors open in flight. It was certainly bound to be a very drafty experience. A parachute seemed like a good idea as well.
"I like the catwalk better than a crawlway over the top of the bomb bay." Savannah said. "I guess size does matter."
Young Jesse wondered about it herself. It was in regards to other things…. Sheila said she possessed a few 'marital aids' she could experiment with. She planned to do so. She was pretty sure as far as males went, it determined who was pushing it, as opposed to the actual size of it. Love making was more than just about sex.
They passed through another bulkhead and the top turret and cockpit were located there.
They all thought the top turret on the Mitchell gave a better view. The cockpit itself seemed to have more room. There were more controls too because of the two extra engines.
The nose section was larger than the Mitchell and contained three gun positions for the Bombardier and the Navigator. The view itself was way more restricted. It lacked the 'greenhouse effect' of the nose of the Mitchell. The thin aluminum skin of the aircraft would offer no more protection against a projectile or shrapnel, than the Plexiglas itself would.
There was a lower hatch on the tunnel from the nose which could be opened to the outside. They would need to drop down to the ground. They chose to go back through the plane and out the small rear door.
Cameron was aware of two other variants of the B-17 which never made it past the prototype stage. They were never put into production. The first one would have been known as the B-38. The other would have been the B-40.
The XB-38 Was fitted with four Allison V-1710 engines. Only one was built. It was approximately forty miles an hour faster than a B-17. It was unable to reach the same altitude as a B-17. The B-17 could fly a mile higher than it. The prototype caught fire doing testing and was destroyed.
The YB-40 was equipped with an additional top turret. There were four waist guns instead of two. Some examples were equipped with four guns in the tail as well as four in the chin turret. A limited quantity of approximately two dozen were built. Some of them were deployed to the ETO. Once the B-17's dropped their load of bombs, the YB-40 aircraft couldn't easily keep up with the rest of the group. They still contain all of their weight. The other bombers didn't.
Joe secured the plane and they headed to the B-24.
Sheila entered the room and saw there was a small cut on the female's cheek who'd said Leticia would be known as 'Scarface'.
Leticia looked a little dismayed
"We couldn't do it." Leticia said. "I couldn't do it."
Sheila was a little disappointed.
"I can see." Sheila said.
Ally was at the door. She wanted to hurry them along.
"We need to roll." Ally said.
Leticia and Mary started to walk away.
Sheila didn't intend to let the female thugs off easy. She would give the girls an opportunity to see how it was done.
"Do you want to watch?" Sheila asked.
Ally didn't think they needed any horrific images in their heads.
"It will be very violent and messy." Ally said. "Let's go."
Mary was the one who'd put the small cut on the female's cheek. She'd wanted to lay her cheek open. She just couldn't find it in herself to do it. If it would have been right at the time the gun was being jammed in her back, when the Bitch told her what she was going to do to her, she probably could have then.
"Maybe we should go." Mary said as she walked out.
Leticia hesitated. She wasn't sure she wanted to see the violence 'Sue' was capable of. She liked the love 'Sue' could share with her better.
Ally led Mary past the room with the two men. Hanna was ready to dump gasoline on them.
Mary looked in and saw what was in the corner. She knew right away what it was.
Hanna didn't want her to focus on it. She thought they'd got off easy.
"They abused many females." Hanna said. "They needed to atone for it."
Mary saw what else was there.
Ally was aware every action produced a reaction.
"One man spoke disrespectfully to Leticia and you." Ally said. "He was punished for it as well."
Mary was more surprised their conversation was heard so far away.
"You heard all of it from outside?" Mary asked.
Ally didn't want to get specific.
"Yes." Ally said. "We hear everything."
Mary could hear a muted scream. Leticia backed up out of the room.
Sheila exited the room with some blood on her and hurried Leticia along.
"Thanks." Leticia said. "I really wanted you to do the same thing to the Crazy Bitch on the ship."
Ally figured it would give Sheila additional motivation to do it now. Since they knew everything about the Crazy Bitch, Sheila would most likely pay her a visit and complete the 'mission'.
"Don't be surprised." Ally said. "You shouldn't encourage Sue."
Gail and Hanna dumped more gasoline around.
"We need to go love." Sheila said.
Gail exited out of the room the two females were in.
"They don't look so hot." Gail said.
Sheila shrugged her shoulders. She'd heard one female say she'd do it to Leticia.
"They didn't seem too happy about the payback." Sheila said. "I thought they should die a little slower."
Mary cringed at the thought. She went back and looked in the door. The two females were still barely breathing. They were a mess. She hurried back into the hall.
"They're both still alive." Mary said as she looked at the others.
Hanna wanted to lay out the priorities. She thought what went around, came around.
"The one girl Barbara took to the hospital may not be." Hanna said. "She was in bad shape. She's in the emergency room now."
Hanna passed them with some more gasoline.
Mary watched as she dumped it in the room. It dawned on her why they'd been left alive. She wanted to make sure.
"Are you going to burn them alive?" Mary asked.
Leticia saw how the captives were treated and abused. She heard some of the 'training' the females supervised.
"What else would you do with a Witch?" Leticia asked.
Mary figured she would do the same thing to a Witch as she would to a Bitch. She went back and slapped on the female who'd threatened her.
"Burn in Hell, Bitch, I told you it would happen to you." Mary said. "Payback is a Bitch, just like you."
Mary hurried away from the door.
The group received a new warning from Summer.
There was another sedan on the way there. They didn't know which group it belonged to.
"Let's take the van in the front." Gail said. "I have the keys."
Leticia and Mary were in the dark right now. They could tell something was going down.
"What's happening?" Leticia asked.
Ally wanted to get everyone out.
"There's another crew on its way here." Ally said. "Let's go."
Mary figured they would wait for them to arrive so they could be dealt with. She was a little confused.
"Aren't you going to kill them too?" Mary asked.
Hanna saw it as less work for them.
"Our coordinator has something worked out for them. It will take care of the bodies, all of them." Hanna said. "We need to move."
The vapor from the gasoline started to drift. The vapor was what was explosive about the gasoline. The natural gas lines were severed as well.
As soon as the sedan which approached the location was committed to the rear alley, the girls exited out the front.
They spotted an SUV converge on them from both sides.
There was also another florist's van which approached.
Mary and Leticia looked scared.
Sheila didn't want them to worry.
"We have it covered, love." Sheila said. "You follow Lisa and Ann. Peggy and I will bring up the rear.
Cam pulled up in the florist's van and everyone got inside. Mary saw her car was there too.
Allison pulled in front of the van with her SUV. Laura and Cammy were behind the van. Kyle pulled in back of them as they left the scene. They took the hard drives and phones with them which they'd collected earlier. There was more of the operation to uncover and deal with. It would be done without any of the Resistance personnel associated with it. It would become one of Cameron's 'off the books operations' and stay as one.
As the procession pulled away from the front, the sedan pulled up in the back. It stopped next to the other sedan. The doors and trunk were still open on it.
Three men exited the sedan and glanced at the other one and saw it was empty and bloody inside. They all carried guns and rushed into the rear entrance. It was missing the door.
They made it to the room with the men, when the smell of the gasoline vapor reached them. They began to cough. There was the smell of natural gas as well. One man made it as far as the room with the two dying females. It was hard for him to comprehend the level of violence they must have endured. He vomited as he turned around.
"This is a set up." The man yelled out.
The three turned to leave. They could hear what sounded like hail. Objects began to burst through the ceiling and strike the ground. There was a spark almost immediately. They were hit with projectiles as they tried to run. The fireball of the massive explosion consumed them. The lucky one was the one who took a projectile to the head. The other two burnt to death. The back wall of the florist shop blew out and everything was soon a raging inferno.
There was no emergency response.
Seconds ago:
Mary and Leticia looked around the back of the van when they got in. They noticed the restraints.
"What is this?" Mary asked.
Hanna lifted a shackle affixed to a chain.
"It's a 'meat wagon'." Hanna said.
Ally wanted to make it clear. They'd come across many of them in non Resistance operations.
"It's what they transport females, and young males, in to be sold or moved to other locations." Ally said. "The initial assaults begin once they are stripped and chained down. It is part of the process to get them acclimated to their new lifestyle. Some of them are abused numerous times a day at a 'processing' facility. Usually after two to three days of the process, they began to accept their fate. Those who remain defiant are slowly butchered in front of the other girls. If they don't watch the slaughter, their eyelids are removed so they have to look. If you don't see some of the girls blink, you know why now. They can't."
Mary was angry at the description. She hated the abusers even more.
"I wish I would have laid her cheek open more on the Bitch." Mary said. "I would have liked to given her a 'Glasgow smile' myself."
Leticia didn't like how common the activity sounded.
"How prevalent is this?" Leticia asked.
Gail pointed out the sad truth. It was a worldwide menace.
"It happens in every county to some extent." Gail said. "It's much worse in some of them."
Mary wanted some blood now.
"What about those other thugs?" Mary asked.
Hanna took out her phone.
"I wouldn't worry about them." Hanna said.
They viewed a drone image of the florist shop.
Mary could see the picture was taken from altitude, even if it was zoomed in. She hadn't heard any aircraft in the vicinity.
"Is it from a satellite?" Mary asked.
Cam didn't want to give out too many details.
"It's something similar." Cam said. "It's best not to worry about the specifics with us."
Mary and Leticia understood the warning. They didn't want to learn too much from the special girls. They were aware if they knew too much, they could become a liability.
They watched the other car pull up and the men run inside. Ten seconds later the building exploded and the back wall blew out.
"It was quite impressive." Mary said.
Leticia could see the group consisted of 'death merchants'.
"What happens now?" Leticia asked.
Mary and Leticia looked at each other. They were both worried they may have seen too much.
"Are you going to kill us too?" Mary asked.
The Metal girls all looked at each other.
Sheila smiled at them with her full broad lips. She wanted to put them at ease. She didn't want them to worry needlessly. They weren't going to hurt them. She wouldn't let anyone hurt them, especially Leticia.
"I was going to ask if you wanted to catch a bite to eat before we go back." Sheila said.
Leticia was a little confused.
"Go back to where?" Leticia asked.
Ally was ready for an 'all nighter' if they were done for the day.
"Back to your place of course, it's not even night yet." Ally said.
Mary swallowed hard. She thought about everything which almost happened to her. It was still a lot to process. What was even harder to process is what was done to the perpetrators where they'd been held captive. The images were still fresh in her mind of the 'punished' individuals.
"I don't think I'll eat any food tonight." Mary said. "I think you can understand why."
Sheila wanted a little more now to wind down some.
"There are other things besides food to eat…." Sheila said. "We can make it an all nighter."
Mary and Leticia looked at each other. The 'special girls' were unfazed by any of the violence. It was clear it was something they did on a regular basis. They didn't know they weren't human yet. They suspected they could be something a little more sinister. Other than what they'd witnessed with superior strength, and superb hearing, they hadn't seen anything which didn't look human on them.
The B-24 sat low to the ground. The Liberator was equipped with tricycle landing gear like the B-25. It had a high wing so it could sit much lower to the ground. It wasn't a tail dragger like the Flying Fortress was. They entered from the rear hatch on the bottom. It was a lot like the B-25, with the same type of access.
Jesse noticed a big difference right away. Nothing was tight or cramped.
"Wow! There's a lot more room inside here than the B-17." Young Jesse said.
Young Allison looked over the armament of the aircraft.
"The tail gun is a full turret as well." Young Allison said.
Anna pointed out some additional equipment.
"The ball turret can be withdrawn inside the plane too." Anna said. "It cuts down on aerodynamic drag."
The girls liked the extra room. There was plenty of room for the waist gunners.
They passed into the bomb bay. There was a catwalk as well.
Young Jesse noted a major difference right away.
"It has two bomb bays." Young Jesse said.
Young Allison was intrigued by the bomb bay's layout and construction.
"Check out those bomb bay doors." Young Allison said. "They're 'roll up' doors. They don't swing down to open. They pull up into the side."
Savannah leaned over and knocked on the metal.
"I don't think those would do too well in a water landing as compared to traditional bomb bay doors." Savannah said.
Cameron knew it was more the location of the wings which made a B-17 more successful for a water landing than a B-24. There were some downed aircraft in the Mediterranean and Adriatic Sea where there were examples of both aircraft, and the results of the water landing. The nose was ripped off on all of the B-24 bombers. It was usually pushed back up on top of the wings and fuselage. It was doubtful many pilots survived. She didn't want to get into the specifics. She would if any of the girls wanted to discuss it further. None appeared to do so.
They moved out of the duel bomb bay past the top turret into the cockpit area. The girls took turns in the pilot's seat while the others went into the nose two at a time.
"The nose turret is almost like the rear turret." Savannah said.
Cameron was aware how the modification came about.
"The first renditions of it were actually rear turrets which were installed in the battle zone from other damaged aircraft." Cameron said. "The company sent engineers out and soon the production models, like this, were so equipped from the factory. The original nose was more like the one on the B-25 but different. It didn't have the same top view and off to the sides as well defined. There was also a gunship version of the plane constructed. Only one was built. It was known as the YB-41. It was much like the YB-40."
The girls all thought the plane had a lot more room than the B-17. There was way more room than the B-25.
They made their way back through the interior for a last look on the way out.
Savannah, Young Allison and Young Jesse all tried the nose and tail turret positions before they exited. They liked the extra room. The Mitchell was more suited to their needs.
Ted locked the B-24 up after he closed the lower rear hatch.
Savannah was aware there was another very similar airplane.
"I've seen a single tailed version of this aircraft used by the Navy." Savannah said.
Cameron pulled up some additional files.
"The naval version of the B-24 was known as PBY4-1 Liberator. A heavily modified single tail version was known as the PBY4-2 Privateer. There was a single B-24K converted by one of the manufacturers. It would have been adopted as the B-24N but never went into production for the US Army Air Force."
Savannah took one look back at the B-24. She'd read a book by a B-17 navigator about how they always felt relieved when there was a squadron of B-24s operating near them on a combat mission. They were aware the enemy fighters would always concentrate on the Liberators instead of the Flying Fortresses. He said it was because the Liberators were easier to shoot down than a B-17 was. She thought it said something about the old workhorse developed in the mid thirties.
Joe led them to the B-29 Superfortress next. He was amazed at the knowledge the girls possessed. He didn't know the two 'twin sisters' were literally walking encyclopedias.
The female Fanatic could see firearms brandished by some of the bikers. It was clear they were going to try to stop them. She intended to act first. She told Jill what she was going to do. She could see the big rig was almost up to where they were at. Her side window was down in the rear seat. The bikers were only a few hundred feet behind her. They'd needed to move back over onto the proper side of the road when they saw the big rig approaching. It caused them to bunch up.
She activated the LAW rocket. Both ends popped out. It was armed and ready to fire. The big rig passed her as she did it. She could see the silver metal shine brightly in the sun. The big rig was past her in a flash. She could see the oval outline of the rear end of it as it neared the bikers. She took aim and fired the LAW rocket. The rocket 'whooshed' out of the tube and impacted into the center of the oval of the silver metal. There was an explosion followed almost immediately by a much larger explosion.
The target was a gasoline tanker. She watched as the tank was blown open with a massive fireball. Burning liquid was shot in both directions. The group of bikers was covered with burning gasoline.
Jill look back in her rear view mirror when she heard Jackie fire the LAW rocket.
She jumped when the first explosion occurred. She jumped a little more when the massive explosion occurred. She was a little surprised to see the entire group of bikers look like a character from a movie she saw one time. She thought it was called 'Ghost Rider'. All of them were on fire and still up right. Within a second they begin to fall and run into each other. She saw flaming motorcycles and flaming bodies go in all directions. She understood now why Jackie told her to floor it. She stayed hard on the gas pedal.
There was nothing behind her but flames and black smoke in the sky.
The female Fanatic looked in front of them. She quickly returned her attention to in back of them. She thought about stopping and going back to make sure all of the bikers were dead. She didn't think if anyone survived, they would know what happened.
Jill realized Jackie just killed another couple dozen people. She was part of it. She was the one driving the car. She didn't think it mattered at this point because she'd been around Jackie for numerous other deaths already.
"Do you want me to keep going?" Jill asked.
The female Fanatic thought it was the best course of action currently.
"Yes." The female Fanatic said. "Catch back up to the Gray. Stay back far enough just to keep him in visual contact."
The female Fanatic took one more look back as they sped away from the inferno behind them. She could see there was a lot of black smoke in the air.
Moments ago:
Lena and Tina were in place at the location they wanted to be. They could soon hear the bikers in the distance approach. The drone footage indicated there were still only two of them.
They pulled off to the side of the road near a small bridge over a dry gulch. They made it look as if they were about to change a tire. They were bent down next to the wheel on the passenger side. The two motorcycles pulled up behind them. Both of them shut off.
Tina stood up and faced towards the men. She'd been in the passenger seat earlier. She didn't think any of them got a good look at her.
"Did you stop to help us?" Tina asked. "The tire was making noise."
The two bikers still sat on their bikes. They looked at each other. They took in Tina's figure. They could see the backside of Lena facing towards them. It was what they wanted to see.
"Sure." The first biker said. "We can all help each other."
The two bikers talked quietly among themselves for a moment. They got off their bikes and started over towards where the girls were at. They were almost to the rear of the car when they stopped. They realized it was the vehicle six of their fellow 'Sons Of Chaos' went to intercept.
Tina could see the men pause. She could see something else behind them. It was a big Fireball with a cloud of smoke. It was in the distance.
The two men started to reach for some type of weapons. The sound of the explosion reached them. Both of the men turned around to see what it was. Before they could turn back around, both of their worlds went black.
Lena and Tina both made their move when the two bikers turned around. They snapped both of their necks. They tossed them down into the dry gulch under the bridge. From the drone footage they saw what the female Fanatic had done with the gasoline tanker. It appeared to them all of the bikers were down. If they weren't burned to death from the flaming liquid, they were busted up from all the bikes crashing together.
They would need to approach the area soon enough. The Gray and the female Fanatic were still in front of them.
They looked at the two motorcycles. One of them was a little fancier than the other.
"That's a nice bike." Lena said.
Lena and Tina needed to decide if they wanted to change their mode of transportation. Their targets were still ahead of them.

Cameron silently moved behind the two perpetrators and rendered both of them unconscious without them seeing her. Two seconds later, the door to the room opened. Cameron came face to face with Young Allison's Model 19. She was a little surprised to see Young Allison wearing her custodial uniform.
"Hi, Cameron." Young Allison whispered. "I was ready for them."
Cameron checked both directions in the hall. No one else was out or appeared to have heard anything. She quickly pulled both men into their room.
Young Allison closed the door behind her.
"I need to take these people back out to their truck." Cameron said.
Young Allison noted one of them was the desk clerk from earlier in the day.
"Are you going to terminate them?" Young Alison asked.
Under normal circumstances, Cameron would have rabbit punched both of them. They would have terminated instantly.
"I will if I need to." Cameron said. "I'm going to teach them a lesson."
Young Allison could see the rope one of the men carried. There were also some rags. There was some type of bottle as well.
"It looks like they were going to tie us up with the rope and use the rags to blindfold and gag us." Young Allison said. "What's in the bottle?"
Cameron put her finger tip over the opening in the bottle after she took the lid off and turned it upside down. She quickly put the lid back on the bottle. She analyzed the chemicals. She detected CHCl-3.
"It's Trichloromethane, or chloroform." Cameron said. "They were going to use it to incapacitate us. It can be very harmful when used improperly."
Young Allison was pretty sure the two men didn't care if it was harmful or not. She didn't think they were intended to survive whatever the men had in mind when they were through with them.
"I don't see any masks for them to wear." Young Allison said. "We both know who the desk clerk is. He didn't attempt to mask his identity. It most likely means we wouldn't have lived for very long."
Cameron wondered if she should take more drastic action.
"I will blind both of them when I dump them." Cameron said. "They will become beggars on a street corner."
Young Allison didn't think it was a good idea.
"We don't want to change the timeline." Young Allison said. "Just dump them. I don't think they'll be back tonight."
Young Allison checked the clock in the room.
"I should say, I don't think they'll be back this morning." Young Allison said. "It's already past the 'Witching Hour'."
Cameron securely bound, gagged and blindfolded both of the men. It was what they obviously intended to do to them.
Young Allison opened the door and looked into the hall. No one was spotted. Everyone should be sound asleep. It evidently was what the two men banked on would happen in their room.
"It's clear." Young Allison said.
Cameron picked up one of the men and exited with him. She went down the rear stairs and out through the service entrance. She dumped him in the back of the truck. She quickly returned to their room.
Young Allison opened the door as Cameron approached.
"One down, one to go." Young Allison said. "Do you want me to go with you?"
Cameron wanted Young Allison to get some rest.
"No." Cameron said. "Secure the door when I leave like it was. Go back to bed."
Cameron left with the other assailant.
Young Allison secured the door as it had been. Cameron provided her with several other firearms. She checked over the three revolvers. One of them was a Colt Single Action Army. It was a vintage weapon. It was chambered for .45 Colt ammunition. It was in relatively good condition. The other two were both from Smith And Wesson. One was a six shot Model 10, the other was a five shot Model 36. The one which caught her fancy was what she identified as a Luger. She knew it was also referred to as a Parabellum or a P-08.
She verified all the weapons were loaded. She made sure the safety was on with the Luger. The writing on the side of it was in German. She could see when the safety lever was actuated, there was a small block which appeared to prevent the weapon from firing. She put everything back in the gunny sack and put it in a drawer on the dresser. She went over and looked out the window. There was no sign of Cameron or the men. Cameron said they had a truck. She went over and checked the door again. Everything was secure.
She thought about taking her clothes off again and decided against it. She was probably only going to sleep naked if Cameron was inside the room with her. After what just occurred, she was going to leave the custodian uniform on until morning. She pulled the sheet up along with the bedspread and lay on top of it.
Young Allison tried to drift off. The Model 19 was under the pillow next to her head.
Cameron went down the stairs with the second man. She passed through the service entrance and took a look around as she dumped him in the back of the truck next to the other man.
One of them started to come around. She wanted to try something new. She wanted to give them a taste of their own medicine, quite literally. She took out the small bottle of chloroform. She put some on a piece of cloth and tried it out on the man. The man's head jerked around violently and he made murmuring noises. He soon stopped moving. She quickly checked his pulse. He was still alive. She'd taken the keys out of the other man's pocket for the truck. She took a moment to listen. She knew which direction she wanted to go. She started it and drove away.
Cameron had a special treat planned for both of the men.
Back To Where
Every new person is a stranger
Especially when they come out of nowhere
Nothing is known about them
One needs to use caution and beware
Things that start out
With just a look or stare
Are bound for the rocks
Not a way to make a pair
Nobody is always perfect
Everyone is subject to err
It doesn't really matter
If only one will care
Things go nowhere fast
When one starts to compare
When the judgment comes
Things are not easy to repair
When things went too far
It created a rip and tear
One wants to go back
Back to where
Nobody
