Ted, William, Tanya, Jake, and Sarah were at the Woodland Critter Woods for their next sleepover. Skunky approached them with pieces of paper in his hands.

"Are you ready to hear your next bedtime story? He asked. "Fifi helped me a bit with this one."

The children excitedly went into their sleeping bags as Skunky sat on a log and prepared to read his story.

"In this next story, Sir Skunky tries to become more powerful to protect Princess Fifi." Skunky explained.

As the children settled into their tents and sleeping bags, Skunky cleared his throat, and began.

It has been one week since Sir Skunky and Princess Fifi met and fell in love. The people of both kingdoms have become quite acquainted with one another, especially Lord Squirrely, King Buster, and Queen Babs, who have meet leader meetings where the king and queen made Lord Squirrely laugh at least five times a visit with their humour, jokes, and even slapstick. Sir Skunky and Princess Fifi were especially getting along. Sir Skunky showered her with gifts, ballads, poems, songs, and things like that. In fact, Sir Skunky and Princess Fifi were getting along so well, that it was arranged that Sir Skunky had become Princess Fifi's top guard.

"Mon amour, eet 'as been one whole week since we first met." Princess Fifi informed, lovingly. "Vou 'ave been mon petit skunk hunk ever since."

"All the best for you, my beautiful princess." Replied Sir Skunky, bowing to the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.

From outside the princess' chambers was the sound of battle cries, sword swinging, and wood being sliced. The two skunks looked out the window and saw Commander Plucky, slicing down various trees with his sword.

"Commander Plucky tends to be loud while training." Princess Fifi explained.

"Excuse me!" Sir Skunky called to Commander Plucky. "Would you mind training a little quieter please?"

"Bah!" Scoffed Commander Plucky. "Training is making me stronger. Know that you cannot protect the princess from everything! One of these days, you'll encounter something that'll be too strong even for you!"

Princess Fifi was visibly annoyed at Commander Plucky's reply. She was about to spray him with her odour when she happened to glance at Sir Skunky, who thought a lot about what Commander Plucky just said to him.

"Hold on, princess." He said. "He might have a point. What if we encounter a monster even I cannot defeat."

"Do not let Plucky's words get vou down, amour." Princess Fifi replied, hoping to stop Sir Skunky from entering any emotional moods.

"I'm just speaking the truth!" Commander Plucky protested.

As Princess Fifi sprayed her odour in Commander Plucky's face once again for getting on her nerves, Sir Skunky thought more on Commander Plucky's advice. Later that day, he was approached by King Buster.

"So, I have heard you wish to become more powerful." He said.

"How did you know, your highness?" Asked Sir Skunky.

"Two reasons." King Buster explained. "One, I heard Commander Plucky yelling. He's not exactly the silent one, more's the pity. And two, Princess Fifi informed me and the other two leaders earlier while we were educating Lord Squirrely on the history of our kingdom."

"With mages and paladins being somewhat similar, I take it you will be the one training me." Sir Skunky replied.

"Actually, I have someone else in mind." King Buster corrected. "My mentor, the Great Sage Byron Basset."

"He sounds almighty." Replied Sir Skunky. "Where can I find him?"

"The Great Sage should be somewhere in the lands." King Buster replied. "I wish you good luck in finding him."

Sir Skunky went out to search for the Great Sage Byron. To his surprise, Sir Skunky found the Great Sage just outside the Kingdom of the Toons that are Tiny. The Great Sage Byron was a brown and white basset hound dog wearing blue and white robes and had a long staff next to him. He was sleeping by the Kingdom's gate.

"Um, Great Sage Byron?" Sir Skunky inquired.

The noise that came from the Great Sage was a rather loud snore, showing that he was in a deep sleep. Sir Skunky gently shook the Great Sage to wake him up. The Great Sage stood from the ground and looked at Sir Skunky. The Great Sage's eyes were as brown as most of his fur.

"Woof." Said the Great Sage.

Sir Skunky got on one knee as he stood before the Great Sage.

"King Buster has informed me that you were the one who trained him." He said. "I wish to receive your knowledge and training."

The Great Sage levitated his staff, and Sir Skunky could hear a voice talking to him telepathically.

"I can see that you've come to learn from me." It said. "You want to become more powerful to protect your allies, and the love of your life. Stick with me, and by the end of the day, you'll be more powerful than you've ever been."

The Great Sage Byron trained Sir Skunky in powerful techniques of magic, healing, spells, barriers, and other forms of offence, defence, and support. He trained Sir Skunky to summon thunder with his hammer, to heal others by pointing his hammer tip at them, to summon giant hammers to crush opponents, and even to grant additional power, defence, and speed to himself and teammates.

"I am in your debt, Great Sage Byron." Sir Skunky bowed.

"With your new abilities, you and your allies should have no worries going against the monster who shall be invading the kingdoms momentarily." Replied the Great Sage, telepathically.

Sir Skunky's eyes nearly popped out of his head. He darted back into the Kingdom of the Toons that are Tiny and came across Elmonster! She was tearing the kingdom apart by levitating large chunks of rocks, dirt, gravel, and things like that.

"Soon, every animal in this kingdom will be my tortured hostage for eternity!" Cackled the evil beast!

Sir Skunky did not hesitate. He charged his trusty hammer and unleashed a powerful blast at Elmonster. The electrical blast struck Elmonster mightily, as she her body started shaking out of control from the electricity. Suddenly, she exploded and the kingdom started to restore itself.

"I... did it?" Asked Sir Skunky, sounding astonished at his immediate victory.

"That is a result from the Great Sage's training." King Buster explained.

Sir Skunky was about to confirm what King Buster had told him, when Princess Fifi ran into his arms.

"Mon amour!" She said, happily. "Vou 'ave saved us yet again!"

Princess Fifi started smothering Sir Skunky in kisses, much to his joy. The Great Sage was watching them from afar, and only one word left his mouth:

"Woof."

The kids were sleeping soundly in their tents by the time Skunky had finished. Just as he did, Fifi approached him lovingly from behind.

"Mon amour, are vou coming to bed?" She asked.

"Of course I am, my princess." Skunky smiled.

Needless to say, Fifi giggled at Skunky's words. As the two skunks walked to the Cadillac, a strange hooded figure walked through the forest and was watching them. Bits of orange hair poked out through the hood.

"I'll be seeing you soon, my cuddily wuddilies." She whispered in a giggling voice.
