Author's Note:

Well, here we are — the basically final chapter of Kismet — of course, never fear, there are still 10 epilogues coming before we fully wrap it up. But this is the last chapter anyway — the Hinny Wedding.

Pictures are posted on my tumblr from the wonderful Ellieoryan7447 who has been amazing and patient enough with me to make sense of my words and what I send her in photos and fix them up to my liking. I appreciate you more than you know.

I never planned on actually writing the Hinny wedding, not sure why, but it wasn't in my mind and now I'm so happy I did. I really you all enjoy the wedding as much as I did and now without further adieu, welcome to the Potter-Weasley Wedding.

CHAPTER THIRTY:
The One With I Do

Zee wrapped up her meeting in the Magical Menagerie with Oliphant, smiling when the man told her once again how happy he was to have her back. Being "back" was definitely something that she was still working on. The coma had taken away almost half a year of her life and it was still taking some getting used to.

She was going on daily walks and exercising regularly to help rebuild some of her muscle mass as while the coma had preserved her as is, coming out of it had still been a shock to the system. Suddenly her body was trying to compensate for what had happened over those months and she spent her first two months back on a dozen different potions to help balance everything. But now she was feeling more like herself.

She was healthy.

She was happy.

And she was back.

And by some miracle, she had gotten Sirius back on top of it and that was more than she ever could have imagined or hoped for. Seeing him with their kids, watching his face light up… it was a dream come true. She had the man she loved back. She'd married him and she'd never been happier.

Well, that was until Harry and Ginny had announced their engagement.

Zee could not express how happy and excited she was to watch Harry marry Ginny. It was going to be the most incredible wedding and Zee was going to do everything in her power to make sure that it was exactly that. She was a little worried that she might be overstepping with Ginny as she and Molly had definitely jumped into things with both feet when it came to planning, but Ginny was excited and happy. She could see that.

And Ginny wasn't the type to stay quiet if something bothered her so Zee was taking it all as a good sign when it came to helping with the planning.

Zee loved spending time with Harry once again; hearing all about his job as an Auror. Hearing from him and Sirius all about the struggles he'd gone through in trying to capture the Death Eaters and to figure out what was going on with Sirius and Zee had been alarming. She wished that she could have been there for him when he needed her most and took every second she could to give him an extra hug and tell him she loved him.

"I know, Zee," Harry said after she squeezed him for the umpteenth time over the last four months. "I love you, too. I'm very happy you're back."

She was so proud of him for getting his A2 badge. He was the youngest Auror in over a century to earn his A2 badge in under six months in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. It usually took at least a year to eighteen months for an Auror to graduate from an A1 to an A2. Harry was happy and he always smiled when he spoke about working with Higgins and Tonks. He loved his job and Zee couldn't be more proud of him.

Zee had loved getting the chance to watch Ginny play in some of her last matches of the season, cheering her on from the stands happily, especially since her attack had coincided with her being unable to be there for her first match. Ginny was an amazing Chaser and seeing her with Harry just made sense. The two of them fit together perfectly. She knew that it was going to be more than just a wedding when they married; it was going to be a dream come true.

She spent her time catching up with what she needed to at work, happy to be back at the Menagerie and pleased to hear how much she'd been missed from coworkers. When her day was over, she said goodbye to Oliphant and headed to the Burrow to catch up with Molly and Ginny. Ginny had spent the last few weeks travelling with friends and she'd sent an owl asking Zee to pop by the Burrow after work so that they could discuss more wedding plans.

Zee was ecstatic that Ginny was letting both Molly and herself help plan her wedding. It was why she found herself tearing up when she arrived at Burrow in time to learn that Ginny had found a dress in Portugal.

"I just saw it and I knew," Ginny was telling her mum. "I don't know it just… it felt right, Mum. Let me show you. I'm going to put it on. Be right back."

Molly turned to Zee as Ginny hurried off to change into the dress she found. "I'm happy that she found a dress, but is it strange that I'm disappointed that I wasn't there with her?"

"Not at all," Zee assured her.

When Ginny stepped out of her old room and came down the stairs a few minutes later in the gown, tears welled up in Zee's eyes. She was absolutely breathtaking and the dress looked like it was made for her.

"Oh! Oh, Ginny!" Molly exclaimed, wiping at her own tears. "You look so beautiful!"

"The dress?"

"Made for you," Zee whispered with a smile, moving in to hug her. "Molly's right, you look stunning. Harry's eyes are going to pop right out of his head."

"That's always a bonus," Ginny said. She turned to look at her mum. "Are you upset that I found it without you?"

Molly shook her head. "No, of course not! Do I wish that I could have shopped with you for a dress? Absolutely but… that's your dress, Ginevra. You're going to be the most beautiful bride."

"I still need shoes," Ginny said, making Molly laugh.

"You won't find shoes without me," Molly insisted. "And we'll have to find the perfect mother of the bride dress for me as well."

Ginny hugged her mother tightly and kissed her cheek. "Deal. And a mother of the groom dress as well," she added, meeting Zee's eyes. "I want you two to look so bloody gorgeous that no one can keep their eyes off of you."

"Ginny, it's your day," Zee began.

"No," Ginny said, shaking her head. "It's the day I marry the man I love. I know his eyes will be on me when I show up in this. You two are going to look stunning. I promise."

Ginny went and changed, leaving her wedding dress hanging in her old room. Then she headed down to the kitchen, showing Molly and Zee the photos that Colin had taken of her in the dress in the shop. Molly and Zee both teared up again at the photos as Ginny told them how she'd been drawn to it in the window before she'd even put it on. Zee knew that she had a reason to be: The dress looked like it had been made for her.

Once the three of them composed themselves, they talked more about wedding plans and Zee explained how she wanted to use a canopy charm to cover the makeshift Quidditch pitch that Fleamont Potter had made on the grounds of Clevedon Court.

"I was thinking that we can do a gold fabric with maybe a paisley print and charm it to cover the pitch," Zee explained. "We'll put stone columns on the sides and wrap them in red and white flowers. It will give cover in case it rains, but still leave it beautifully open for the day."

"That does sound lovely," Ginny said. "But won't the gold make it rather dark?"

"No," Zee assured her. "I was thinking more of a translucent gold print so that the sun can shine through. I have a few ideas."

"Oh, I love that," Ginny said. "I hope it doesn't rain. I want the sun to shine through all day."

"Well, asking for it not to rain in England is a bit much, dear," Molly said. "But we'll hope for the best. If we have the reception outside on the property, where do you want to have the ceremony?"

"Harry and I were talking about it the other day and we think that we'd like to do it outside in the back on the stairs," Ginny replied. "The house will make a beautiful backdrop and we can walk up the back stone steps toward each other. We'll be elevated a bit in the centre of the three arches so that everyone can see us from the grass."

"Ooh, we can build the stone porch out in front of the arch a bit more so that it frames the two of you. The arches will push you back a bit so if we expand it, it would make it easier for everyone to see you," Zee suggested. "We can decorate them with flowers and maybe some floating candles… that's a perfect place because it gives us a lot of room to get chairs out and across the back. The aisle can start at that beautiful fountain that needs some work. I'll see about calling around for repairs on it and we'll have it looking fabulous in no time."

"You'll have to spruce up the stone porch," Molly insisted. "We'll add flowers all over to match the house and the theme. Maybe a red carpet on the stairs to showcase the aisle… it will be beautiful."

Ginny chuckled. "It's not a royal wedding, Mum. I don't think we need a red carpet."

"Nonsense," Molly said, waving her off. "It will be perfect! And you might not be a royal, Ginny, but this wedding is basically wizard royalty. You and Harry are both very famous, you know."

"That doesn't make us royalty, Mum. We don't want the wedding to be too big either."

Zee bit her lip. "Well, we'll need to get numbers figured out pretty soon, but I think that no matter what we do it's going to be a big wedding and we'll need a headcount of guests before we really can start getting down to the details."

Zee knew that it was the headcount that was making Harry and Ginny blanch. This wedding was going to be the wedding of the century and everyone knew it, even if Harry and Ginny weren't too keen on that aspect of it.

The release of their engagement photos had already caused a huge ruckus. Everyone wanted to know more about the upcoming Potter-Weasley wedding. Harry and Ginny seemed to be photographed everywhere they went from being spotted heading into the Ministry to Ginny and Theo going to hot yoga class in Diagon Alley — everyone wanted to know what the couple were up to and who they were with.

"We don't want journalists there," Ginny insisted. "Colin will release photos the day after, but this day is just for us."

"I agree with that," Zee said. "They don't need to be there, but that doesn't make this wedding any less important, Ginny. You're a rising star in the Quidditch Leagues and Harry has always been in the limelight, not even including the fact that he's a marquess. Whether you want it or not, everyone wants to know. That's one of the things that Sirius and I spoke about last night, there should be some important people whom you should invite to the wedding."

"Yeah, Harry and I spoke about that as well," Ginny admitted. "Jericho Jones and Miranda Jameson for instance, they should probably be invited."

"Exactly, Harry's a national hero, even if he doesn't love it," Zee said. "Then when you add in family and friends… it's going to be a growing list. I think it's unrealistic to even consider having a small celebration."

Ginny let out a slow breath. "Okay, maybe not small, but, not too big, right?"

Zee winced. "Well… let's just think about this — Molly, what are your numbers?"

Molly looked pensive for a moment before she spoke. "Well, there's Ginny's grandparents of course, Timus and Cedrella. Uncle Bilius and Aunt Lucretia will be there. Timmy and Bianca are living in Brazil, but I'm sure that they will attend with their sons, Mason and Silas. Gaius and Jillian have Emmett and little Elizabeth. Then Marcus and his wife Sarah, and of course Tiberius will want to bring a date. There's Uncle Alphard and Aunt Maureen. Caradoc and Holly will come from New York with their boys, Jeffrey and Grayson. Valerius and Daphne will be back from Afghanistan again with Virgil and Vanna. Gabe and Sandy will have Thomas, Remington, and Alfie. Max and Madelyn will be there and Marius will bring his new wife, Juliet. You know they get married in April of next year. Then of course you'll have Bill, Fleur, Victoire, Charlie, Aydin, a possible date for Charlie — not that I hold much faith there — Percy, Audrey, Fred, Fiadh, Finley, Felicity, George, Angelina, Ron, and Hermione. Then your cousin Lancelot Prewett and his plus one, and of course, Auntie Muriel. That will be all from our side of the family, but I'd like to also invite Appolline and Louis Delacour and Gabrielle to attend along with a guest for Gabrielle. Then there's Audrey's parents, Richard and Amelia, her sister Anna and her husband Byron, and their two boys Noah and Julian. They might not be family yet, but with Percy and Audrey getting married next year, it only makes sense to include them; same with Michael and Amanda Johnson. Then of course we should invite Fiadh's family as well. Inviting the king and queen of Tara will make it that much more of a big to-do."

"Is Fiadh's family large?" Zee asked.

"Yes, fairly decent," Molly said. "Let me see, after her parents, there's her sister Rosin and husband Ronan who will eventually be the king and queen; their boys, Diarmid, Egan, Taliesan, and Cathal who will all have plus ones. Fiadh's sister Niamh and her husband David Casey. Donal, his wife Siobhan, and their boys Eoin, Eamnon, and Keir who will all have plus ones. Asiling and Roarke and their boys, Dagda and Connor who will have plus ones. Then Aiobheann and Tiernan will have plus ones. That would be an additional… thirty-ish people on top of the fifty-six Weasleys and Prewetts."

Ginny's mouth fell open at the numbers as she watched Zee writing down names on a list with her pen.

"All right, then for Harry's side we have Sirius and I of course, plus Mina and Leo, Remus, Tonks, Teddy," Zee began. "Then Grandma, Grandma, and my mum. Then Baba and Deda will want to come plus Tetya Olga and Dyadya Dimitri, Mikhail, Ana and Yuri who's going to be fifteen so he should get to bring a date if he'd like; Mila, Nick, Anastasia, and Dinara. Then Tetya Sasha and Dyadya Yerik; Tanya and Alex with Eva and Irina, Tatiana and Iosif and their first child will be born by then as Tatiana's due in February. Then there's Mama's side of the family to think about: Gran and Grandad, Uncle Brian and Auntie Jo, Dougal and Ellen, Jenny, Josh, and their new baby's due in March. Ian will want to have a plus one so that's… another forty-two which brings us up to just under a hundred and thirty in family alone."

Ginny goggled. "Bloody hell… how do we know so many blasted people?"

Zee chuckled. "It does add up quickly. Of course, if you take out the children, it won't be as much."

Ginny shook her head. "No. The children should come. They always have the best time at weddings and I love seeing them."

"Good," Zee said, pleased with her answer. "We can set up an area in the house as well for parents to put sleeping babies if needed and I'm sure Basil and Kreacher will be willing to help babysit if we ask."

"Of course," Ginny said. "But Harry and I want to invite Basil and Kreacher to the wedding."

Molly's eyes shot up in surprise. "To… well, that's something."

"Mum, they're family and if they want to attend, they should. Basil's been working for the Potters his whole life and Kreacher adores Harry. Then I'll want to invite everyone from the Harpies and their plus ones which is… blimey, another thirty people."

"Harry will want to invite his partner, Higgins, and I imagine Kingsley, Robards, and a few others from the department," Zee listed. "A few people from my department, some friends of Sirius and Remus and of Molly."

"Yes, then probably Baxter and Atwell as well. Then we'll have our classmates and their plus ones… blimey, how big is this wedding going to get?"

Zee chuckled. "I think three hundred would be a fairly realistic number."

"What's three hundred?" Bill asked as he stepped into the Burrow kitchen with Victoire in his arms.

"People at my wedding," Ginny said.

"Blimey," Bill exclaimed. "And I thought one-fifty was a lot for mine. That's what happens when you become a marchioness, Firecracker."

Ginny rolled her eyes. "That's hardly the important part."

"No, Bill's right," Molly said. "Zee, does Sirius know of any important traditions they need to have at the ceremony? The wedding of a marquess is going to be… Merlin, I never even put that into consideration. There must be some important customs that will be included, right?"

"Sirius mentioned a few things that James and Lily had at their wedding, but the difference is that James hadn't taken the title yet when he married because Fleamont was still alive," Zee explained. "Sirius told me not to worry and that he would make sure Harry was dressed to impress, whatever that means. I have a feeling he's going to be very close-mouthed about it."

"Hmm," Molly replied, the look in her eye telling Zee that Molly wasn't going to like being kept in the dark over Harry's attire.

"The traditions will be good, Mum," Bill said, handing his mother his daughter. "Stop worrying."

"I can't help it," Molly exclaimed. "She's my only daughter and she's marrying a marquess, William! A marquess!"

"He's just Harry," Ginny said. "I told you, Mum. It's not a royal wedding."

"Well, we know that, dear, but he's still a marquess and that needs to be taken into consideration when wedding planning. And as for you, Bill, you'll need to step up with your father gone. I know that we all wish that Arthur was here to walk his baby girl down the aisle so it will be up to you to give Ginny away in his place."

Bill smiled and kissed the top of his sister's head. "Already planned on it. I'd be honoured to walk you down the aisle, Ginny."

Ginny gave her brother a grateful smile. "That's… I'd love that, Bill, but no. I love you and I love that you'd step up and give me away like Dad should have gotten the chance to do, but no. There's only one person who I want to fill his place."

"Ginny," Molly began. "Bill is the best choice. If you won't let him, then you must ask your grandfather, but you can't walk up alone. It's tradition that the father gives his daughter away and in this case, your eldest brother will take his place. If not Bill, then at least Charlie."

"Mum, if I want to walk up the aisle alone, I will, but I don't."

Bill frowned. "What are you saying, Ginny?"

"I'm saying that I love the idea of you giving me away, Bill. I do, but the person I want to walk me down the aisle and give me away isn't you. I want Mum."

Molly's eyes widened to saucers. "You… what?"

"Well, it's not fair that dads always get to walk their daughters down the aisle and mums don't, so will you give me away on my wedding day, Mum?"

Molly's eyes filled up with tears. "You… oh, Ginny!"

Ginny smiled as she hugged her mum tight, blinking back her own tears. Zee wiped a tear from under her own eye and smiled at Bill.

Yes, this was definitely going to be the wedding of the century.

Zee left the Burrow and headed home to find Sirius playing with Mina and Leo in the sunroom. She bent down to scoop up Mina first who was closer to her and covered her face in kisses before doing the same to Leo.

"Where's mine?" Sirius teased.

Zee laughed when he tugged her down into his lap and she kissed him softly. "Sorry I'm late. Wedding planning."

"You know, you didn't put nearly this much thought into our wedding," he said.

Zee kissed him again. "That's because I had to lock you down and I wasn't marrying a marquess."

Sirius kissed her once more. "I can't believe he's getting married. Do you need my help with anything?"

"You can tell me what you have planned for Harry to wear?"

"No," Sirius said. "Remus and I will take care of our boy. Trust me."

Zee snuggled into his arms and smiled at their children. She did trust him. She was here with the family she always wanted, planning the wedding for the boy she'd adopted as her own, and she couldn't imagine anything being better than this.

"I love you, Zahira," Sirius said, kissing her forehead.

Zee smiled up at him, feeling incredibly happy and content. "I love you, too."

~ TTTC ~

Theo felt like his summer flew by. Before he knew it, the summer was over and he was working at St Mungo's in the Janus Thickney Ward. He was officially granted the temporary position of Junior Assistant Mind Healer where he worked alongside of Mind Healer Ethan Harrison whom he'd been interning with most of the summer.

He loved it.

He spent his days seeing patients while Harrison watched him through charmed glass. Theo would then talk to Harrison about how he felt the session went, what he did and why, and what his plans were pertaining to how he would approach the patient and what he should do to help them. Harrison told him that he had a knack for it and he loved every second of it. He was finally getting the chance to help people and it was better than he thought it would be.

Of course, it was also a lot of work, but it was well worth it. He went home almost every day with a smile on his face.

Theo had also really grown to love hot yoga. He and Ginny started attending the studio in Diagon Alley called The Tree Warrior in July and ended up going four days a week. He loved how good he felt when he left there from the exercise and the meditative side of it. Not to mention he'd noticed a bit of an increase in his flexibility which he may or may not have used while shagging his boyfriend.

Sebastian had disappeared for two weeks on some secret mission somewhere in Sweden and Theo ended up going to Paris for the weekend with Sadira and Spencer to meet the newest addition to the DeRose family. Selene had given birth to a beautiful baby boy whom they named Felix Sebastian Kane because he'd been born on his uncle Sebastian's birthday. Theo held him in his arms, grinning hugely down at the little baby, pleased to be invited to meet his new nephew despite Sebastian being away at work.

Before Theo started his new position at St Mungo's, he and Sebastian did take a mini holiday for a week. They decided against going to Australia and instead, Theo dragged Sebastian to his home in Cannes.

They spent a week lying naked in the sun by the pool. They did some shopping at some antiquity stores, went out to restaurants, and then returned to the manor to snog each other senseless. When they returned, they both had nice tans and big smiles.

Sebastian told him that they were going to go away again over the winter holiday and Theo lit up at the idea.

"Save the dates," he said, kissing Theo's neck. "Week between Christmas and New Year's, you and me are going to Switzerland."

"We are?"

Sebastian nodded, pulling him into his lap. "We're going skiing and we're going to enjoy ourselves in front of the fire, wrapped together in a big soft bed with hot cocoa."

"Count me in," Theo said, kissing him.

They were making plans for the future. He was finally doing the job he loved and life was looking good.

Blaise had been officially hired by the Ministry of Magic as an advocatus in the Department of International and Domestic Magical Cooperation. He was working in the International Magical Office of Law. It was where he wanted to be because it meant that like Sebastian, he could be sent to work as an advocatus in different countries if they required. Right now, he was mostly doing grunt work, but he was happy.

Theo and Sebastian also finally made time to take a weekend trip out to the south of France to see Draco. His friend was thoroughly enjoying his time as winemaker and Theo had to admit, the wine was excellent. He tried merlots, rieslings, pinots, and even a lovely pinot noir. They spent the weekend catching up and Draco told them that right now he was still planning on staying in France. He wasn't ready to return to England just yet.

September brought the much anticipated Quidditch League Awards and Ginny had scored tickets for Theo and Sebastian to attend. Sebastian was ridiculously adorable and every time a player walked by whom he recognized, he would stare at them in awe and whisper.

"Theo, look!"

Theo couldn't stop smiling at him the whole night. When they came face-to-face with Benjamin London, Sebastian actually forgot how to speak entirely. But when they met Arlo Ross, Theo told him that they named their kitten after him.

"Thank you," Ross said with a smile as Sebastian told him how much he admired his skill on the pitch.

They finally found Harry and Ginny talking to Oliver Wood and his date and Sebastian squeezed Theo's hand.

"Oliver Wood!" he hissed.

Theo grinned and tugged Sebastian closer to where Harry and Ginny were. Harry smiled when he saw them approach.

"Hey, Theo, hi, Bas."

"Bas!" Ginny exclaimed, smiling as she reached for his arm. "Oliver, I'd like you for you to meet Sebastian Kane. He works for the Magical Intelligence Agency and is dating Theo Nott."

"Nice to meet you," Oliver said, extending his hand. "The MIA, eh? That must be pretty thrilling."

Sebastian opened his mouth to speak and nothing came out. Theo nudged him and he swallowed. "Er, yes, it's great."

"Excuse my boyfriend, Oliver, he's a bit starstruck," Theo teased. "He's a big fan."

"Thank you," Oliver said. "I do my best out there."

Theo was surprised to see that Oliver was dating former Gryffindor Katie Bell. Apparently they'd reconnected a month ago and had been dating ever since. Sebastian managed to overcome his nerves and soon he and Wood were talking about the upcoming season as if they were old friends.

By the time they sat down in their seats for the awards to start, Sebastian was much more at ease. The Quidditch League Awards took place once a year to honour the players, coaches, agents, and referees who worked hard every year. The awards were voted in by both the public and anyone involved in Quidditch relations. It was one of the biggest nights for the Department of Magical Games and Sports.

Harry and Ginny were both dressed to impress as Ginny wore a gorgeous spaghetti strap evening gown in dark green that sparkled like white diamonds which had surprisingly been designed by Romilda Vane. She wore a matching choker of the same material with the dress and silver stilettos to top it off. Her beautiful red hair tumbled over her shoulders and down her back in big curls. Harry was dressed in black, with a tie that matched Ginny's dress and Theo had to admit the two of them were stunning. Cameras had been flashing at them for most of the evening.

Ginny was nominated for five awards and each time they announced her name, Harry beamed at her. Theo thought that Harry was adorable for how smitten and proud he was of the woman sitting next to him. Ginny took home three of the five awards she was nominated for including Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and the Cadmus Hughes Trophy which went to the Chaser with the most goals while displaying the most impressive flying skills in a season (Ginny had beaten Benjamin London by one goal and was the second rookie to win the trophy ever).

Each time she accepted a trophy, Harry clapped and hollered the loudest for her. Her team rallied around her in congratulations and the press came in to ask her questions about the awards, the upcoming season, and about the gorgeous engagement ring on her finger. Harry kept his hand on her hip, a proud smile on his face for the whole evening.

The first of October brought George and Angelina's wedding and Theo thought it was perfect for them. The weather was beautiful on the beach as he watched them say "I do" and then followed friends and family back to the beautiful Bamburgh castle to celebrate their marriage. Angelina wore a beautiful simple white gown that was held up with thin straps and material that draped over her in a wrap kind of design. She looked stunning. Ginny, Alicia, and Katie all looked equally as stunning in the short royal blue halter dresses with silver thonged sandals.

His own twentieth birthday came and Sebastian took him out for a fancy dinner, served him champagne, and then took him home and edged him until he was begging to come. He'd finished in an explosive orgasm with Sebastian deep inside of him that had left him feeling just perfect.

October also brought a second wedding for them to attend. They took a weekend off to go to Italy to attend the small ceremony of Bellarosa Zabini and Joseph Rossi. It was small, with only immediate family and friends present, but in typical Bellarosa fashion was still rather glamorous. Bellarosa's dress was formfitting and made of white lace and quite honestly looked as if it was painted on. Rossi's eyes had lit up at the sight of her and when Theo watched Bellarosa kiss her sixth-and-kind-of-seventh husband, he actually believed this one would last. He couldn't ever remember seeing his friend's mum look so happy before.

Blaise walked her down the aisle and gave her hand to Joseph and then he and Blaise hugged. Theo had been surprised to find tears in his own eyes at the gesture. Bellarosa and Joseph had settled into their new flat in Rome happily and were even talking about having children.

"Is that weird?" Theo asked Blaise.

Blaise, who would be turning twenty in December, shrugged. "It might be, but you know, she's happy. It might be kind of neat to have a little brother or sister."

Rossi was apparently using his retirement to write a novel about an MIA agent in the SIU under the pen name Emilio Mantegna. Bellarosa was happy to make a home for them and Theo thought that they were a surprising couple, but they worked.

October also brought upon the opening of Serendipity in Apricity Lane and Neville announced during pub night that Hannah had said yes to his proposal. Theo attended the opening of the Serendipity Sweets & Blooms the last week of October and he had to admit, the place looked magical.

Flowers lined the walls and hung from the ceiling. A huge oak desk sat across the whole front of the shop with "Sweets" hanging above the one side and "Blooms" hanging above the other. Behind the sweets side was a large glass cabinet full of a variety of baked goods from fresh biscuits and danishes to croissants and scones to fairy cakes and slices of cheesecake to tarts and pie. It smelt heavenly. Behind the blooms side was a small green house full of different bouquets of flowers ready to go along with a few different variations. Each side had it's own ordering form.

Theo bought a blueberry scone with fresh strawberry jam and cream and his mouth watered as he took a bite. Sebastian chose a cheese scone and they swapped to each try each other's choices.

"Hannah, this is the most amazing thing that I've ever put in my mouth," Theo said, moaning at the taste. "Food, Bas, don't worry. I love your cock more."

Sebastian rolled his eyes. "I wasn't worried. Hannah, this is incredible. The place looks amazing."

"Thank you," Hannah said brightly, beaming at the two of them. "Everything has really come together well."

Theo didn't get a chance to talk to them much more because more people were ushering in the door. It was definitely the place to be.

He and Sebastian headed next door to Sophistication by Pansy and found her shop was just as busy.

"Business is booming," Blanche Whitecombe, Pansy's helper, exclaimed as she hurried around to assist customers.

Theo picked out some new underwear and lounge pants, smirking when Sebastian picked up a dark green jock.

"Want to try something new?"

"I was thinking for you," Sebastian said, his voice low.

Theo grinned and added the jock to his pile. The way Sebastian looked at him when he put on something a bit sexy was enough to make him hard. They headed to Apricity Spread, the diner that they used to go to from Sebastian's old flat and grabbed brunch before heading back to Norfolk Manor with their purchases.

Sebastian pinned him back against the front door when they stepped inside and bent his head to kiss his throat. "Mmm, how much convincing will it take for you to put on that new underwear?"

Theo chuckled and slid his hands under Sebastian's shirt. "Oh, a bit more at least. Kiss me."

He did and Theo felt like he was on top of the whole world.

Harry felt like he was on top of the world himself. Not only did he have an amazing summer, coming home every day to his fiancée, but he was given more responsibility as an A2 at work. He worked cases alongside Higgins who let him take the lead more times than not when it came to the investigations. They had one particularly long case that took over a good chunk of the summer where they were investigating one man who had been using a love potion mixed with a lust potion on unsuspecting women in bars. Nine women had come forward claiming they'd been raped and by the time they caught up with the wizard accused, another six had followed.

He was found guilty in all cases.

Harry had felt good locking the man up behind bars. He liked working the justice system and he liked seeing the bad guys get taken off of the streets. This was what he wanted to do and he truly loved his job.

Ginny had spent two and a half weeks between July and August travelling to meet up with Luna and Colin. Harry loved talking to her on the mirror and hearing all about what her and Luna got up to in New Zealand. She'd come back home for a few days and the two of them had met up with Colin to take engagement photos. They spent the new few days together in bed then on the balcony, on the back porch outside where they were going to be getting married, and twice on the window seat in the library. He kissed her goodbye when she headed off for a trip with Colin and when she returned a week later, she told him that she found a wedding dress.

"Really?" he asked in surprise. "I didn't know that you were planning to look on your holiday."

"I wasn't," she admitted. "Colin and I were just walking around the magical village in Lisbon and I just found it… I just saw it and I knew."

Harry pulled her close, pressing his lips to her forehead. "I can't wait to see you in it… then peel you out of it."

She chuckled and pecked his lips. "Absolutely. On our wedding day. You can't see me before. I have to go show Mum and Zee. Love you, bye!"

Harry watched her hurry out of the house with a big smile on his face.

Ginny started her summer training towards the end of August and they fell into a daily routine of waking up, going for a run, shower sex, and breakfast before kissing each other goodbye and heading off to their respective jobs. Ginny was always home first since the season didn't start until November so she started doing some changes around the house.

Harry noticed the little things at first, new photos on the walls, furniture moved around and every change made him smile so big that he felt like his face would crack. This was their home and seeing her work to make it so made him love her even more than he already did.

The dining room was spruced up, taking down a lot of the old portraits to replace with more modern paintings. She cleaned out the four bedrooms on the third floor and gave them all a fresh coat of paint. The elves helped her set them up as potential guest rooms. She unpacked more things in the bedroom on the second floor that they'd turned into a little nursery and bedroom for when Teddy, Mina, or Leo came over. She even cleaned up some of the storage in the attic and organized what things they needed to keep and what they needed to get rid of, finding treasures like a trunk of old baby clothes and a trunk full of family photos and portraits. The portraits of his grandparents were moved to a corner in the grand hall and the grand hall, that had often been used to host parties in the past, was turned it into a larger sitting room to use up the empty space.

"We can do our holidays and family gatherings in here," Ginny said when he came home and commented on it. "It's bigger and we can fit everyone in here; there's even room for a huge tree."

Harry couldn't stop grinning at the thought of them opening their home together to have everyone over for the holidays even if it was still months away. They took a weekend to themselves for Ginny's birthday and decided to go to the Potter home off of the Amalfi Coast. Their view overlooked the Tyrrhenian Sea and they enjoyed the sun and the sand and each other all over the house. They held hands as they walked through Positano and did a bit of shopping as they enjoyed fresh food and drank wine. Then they hurried back to the house on the cliffs and fell on each other, hungry to touch and taste every inch of each other.

They stretched out on the lounge chairs in the sun, snogging and talking about everything from memories of the past to plans for the future. They cooked and danced and spent their time smiling.

It was exactly what they both needed.

They returned to England with tans (or more freckles in Ginny's case) and dived back into the world of working and wedding planning. By September, the Quidditch League Awards were being presented and when Ginny stepped out of their bedroom in the sparkling green evening gown that had been designed and created by Romilda Vane, Harry practically swallowed his tongue.

"What do you think?" she asked, turning to give him a few of how the dress clung to her arse and shimmered down her thighs. "I'm actually incredibly impressed with how well Romilda did on this dress."

"No."

Ginny lifted an eyebrow. "No?"

"No," Harry repeated, shaking his head. "There's no bloody way I can sit next to you all night with you wearing that. You'll have to change."

Ginny snorted. "You'll survive."

Harry moved to stand in front of her. "Gin… fuck, you look incredible." His hands danced over her hips before moving back to cup her bottom. "Seriously, you can't wear this in public."

Ginny gave him a knowing smile, reaching up to kiss his lips. "I'm nominated. I have to look my best." She slid her hand out to cup him through his trousers. "Someone will have to behave."

"Not possible while you look like that," he growled. "Let's just stay in."

Ginny chuckled. "I thought you wanted to watch me win Player of the Year."

He groaned as her hand rubbed him. "Fuck… yes, I want that very badly. Gin, if you don't move your hand I'm going to ruin my trousers."

She bit her lip and gave him a gentle squeeze before letting go. "You can peel me out of this dress later."

Harry watched her grab her purse and turn to leave him alone in the bedroom and he groaned. It was going to be a long night.

It was a long night, but it was also a fantastic one. Harry watched his witch win three of the five awards she was nominated for: Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and the Cadmus Hughes Trophy. He couldn't stop beaming in pride for her. For the first time in his life, he loved being in the public eye because for once, no one really cared that he was Harry Bloody Potter. All eyes were on Ginny and they had every reason to be. After she won Player of the Year (as he knew she would), the dance floor opened up and they slow danced in each other's arms until she tugged him out of the awards hall and into a closed off room at the end of the hall. She locked the door with a wave of her wand and pinned him against the wall.

Harry grinned. "Something you want, Gin?"

Ginny bit her bottom lip, her hands gliding up his chest, under the waistcoat he was wearing. "I won three awards tonight."

"I had no doubt. My fiancée is bloody brilliant. Most talented player out there."

She stood on her toes to kiss his chin. "Liar."

Harry turned and moved her down into the antique armchair, bending down to capture her lips. He groaned when her fingers started to undo his trousers. "Ginny…"

Ginny gave him a saucy look. "I want to make you feel as good as I do right now."

She unzipped him and half a second later, she'd freed his hard cock from his trousers and he groaned. "Bloody hell!"

Ginny licked her lips and then pulled his hips closer to her. Then she ducked her head and used her mouth. He groaned, his hands fisting at his sides. He wanted to reach for her but he knew better than to mess up her hair so instead he carefully shifted her long red hair behind her ear so that he could get a better look at those gorgeous lips painted a deep red and wrapped around him.

It didn't take long and he shoved his fist into his mouth as he came, watching her swallow him down. When he finished, he took half a second to catch his breath before he pulled her to her feet and lifted her up onto the table before falling to his knees before her. He carefully parted the slit in her dress and spread her legs.

"Harry…" she breathed.

He pushed the matching green knickers aside to use his tongue and she came quickly, surprising him. The taste of her was enough to make him hard again and he barely climbed to his feet before he urged her to wrap her legs around his waist, shifted her knickers with his fingers and slid into her. The table rocked under them with every thrust and when they finished, they groaned into each other's mouths. Harry kissed her deeply before he pulled out, tucking himself away. Ginny reached down to fix her knickers, using a quick cleansing charm.

"Come on, you owe me another dance," she said, holding her hand out to him.

They snuck out of the hidden room like thieves in the night, grinning foolishly at each other as they made it back into the grand hall to dance the evening away. Theo stole Ginny for a dance, giving Harry a knowing look that made him positive that Theo had guessed where they'd disappeared too, but he was too happy to care. He danced with Gwenog Jones, Matilda Pan, and Wilda Griffiths. He caught up with Katie Bell and Oliver Wood and when they went home that evening with Ginny's awards, they put them in the living room on the shelf for everyone to see with big grins on their faces. Then Ginny shimmied out of her dress right there and he bent her over the sofa.

Life was really damn good.

October brought George and Angelina's wedding and Harry admired Ginny in her short blue halter dress on the beach. As he watched George and Angelina say "I do," he couldn't help but think how excited he was to say those words with Ginny.

They booked their honeymoon, deciding to spend two weeks in St Lucia; a private bungalow in the Caribbean Sea and it sounded perfect. They made plans to surf and to enjoy the sun and the sand in their own private paradise. Harry counted it as another great thing in their future to look forward too.

October also brought the opening of Serendipity Sweets and Blooms in Apricity Lane and Harry and Ginny had dinner with Neville and Hannah to celebrate their grand opening. Hannah showed off her new engagement ring with a big smile. It was rose gold with a beautiful diamond flower outlined in multicoloured stones to look like a bloom in pale blues, pinks, and gold. They congratulated the happy couple and the four of them talked about the future.

November had them going to Cumbria for dinner with Neville and Hannah as Hannah brought out dozens of different cakes for them to try, asking questions about colours and plans and wanting to know what they were looking for in a wedding cake.

"Chocolate," Ginny said. "I definitely want chocolate."

"Harry?" Hannah asked.

Harry smiled and gestured towards his fiancée. "What Ginny says. I won't say no to chocolate."

But wow were there a lot of different variations of chocolate.

Hannah made them creamy chocolate cake, red velvet, chocolate cookie dough, white chocolate, dark chocolate, strawberry chocolate, brownie, cherry chocolate, raspberry chocolate, chocolate cheesecake, and more. The more different bites they took, the more Ginny was moaning in happiness.

"I might just have to move here," Ginny said. "Merlin, Hannah! These are all so incredible! How are we supposed to choose?"

Harry watched her take another bite of chocolate mousse and the sound she made was very similar to the ones she made when his tongue was deep inside of her. He leaned in to kiss her cheek.

"Shall I leave you alone with your cake?"

Ginny licked her lips. "Chocolate is a girl's best friend, Harry."

Neville chuckled. "Hannah's been excited with her planning. Mrs Weasley has been going on about the wedding plans and how the colour schemes are working. The two of us have been trying to work together in planning the flowers and your cake."

"I have the cake mostly narrowed down," Hannah said. "But I need to know what the recipe will be inside."

Ginny groaned again as she took another bite. "Fuck… just lots of chocolate."

Hannah smiled and then held up a finger. "Wait! I have the perfect recipe for you!"

Harry and Ginny exchanged a look before Hannah came out with four more bite size pieces of cake on a plate.

"Try this one," Hannah said, passing Harry and Ginny each a bite of a layered cake.

The moment it touched his lips, Harry knew that it was the choice. The sound Ginny made on top of the look of pleasure in her eyes, told him that even if he disagreed, he would do anything to make her look that happy.

"Oh. My. Goddess," Ginny gasped, licking the spoon. "What is that heaven?"

"It's called Black Tie Mousse Cake," Hannah said with a smile. "It's four layers: Chocolate cake, chocolate cheesecake, white chocolate mousse, and creamy chocolate ganache."

"That," Ginny said. "Yup, that one right there. Uh-huh. What do you think, Harry?"

Harry leaned in to kiss her. "Anything to make you make that sound again."

She blushed and turned back to Hannah. "Don't make me beg."

Hannah chuckled and gave Ginny the rest of the slice of cake. "Oh! I'm so glad you love it! Now that we have the recipe, we just need to work on the cake design. Molly said that your colours are red, white, and gold?"

Ginny nodded, happily scooping up more cake. "Yes. We're matching it to my engagement ring."

"Wonderful! Neville says that the bouquet you picked is red calla lilies and white roses?"

"Neville has an eye for those things," Ginny said. "I couldn't imagine a more beautiful bouquet."

Hannah smiled. "That he does. All right, so this is what I'm thinking and of course I can change it if you don't like it. But, I'm thinking four tiers, all in white chocolate. Maybe some gold decorations on the side and then I'll do a crown across the top of bright red calla lilies with gold baby's breath mixed in. It will rain down the cake like a trellis vine."

Harry frowned. "Wait… flowers on top of the cake?"

"Edible flowers," Hannah said with a chuckle. "Every flower will be hand-painted red velvet. White cream cheese frosting will cover the Black Tie Mousse cake. What do you think?"

Harry wrinkled his nose. "How big is four tiers exactly?"

Hannah gestured with her hand to her waist. "About yay high from the ground is what I'm thinking?"

Harry nodded. "Will that be big enough? I mean, according to Zee and Molly, I think we're having an army at our wedding plus Ron so…"

Ginny laughed. "Ron's his own army when it comes to food, but don't worry Harry. Hannah already offered to make fairy cakes," Ginny said as she licked chocolate off of her lips. "The cake will be for us to cut and share pieces of and then Hannah will make fairy cakes for all of the other guests."

"Yes," Hannah said. "I've already drawn up some examples but I'm thinking red and white roses, some calla lilies, all for the tops. We can do the fairy cakes as Black Tie Mousse cake as well if you like."

"Absolutely," Ginny said. "All chocolate."

Harry grinned and kissed his fiancée's hand. "Sounds perfect."

In between all of this, Harry was carefully working on his own wedding robes with Sirius, Remus, and help from Fleamont's portrait. The four of them were keeping it a secret from everyone as Monty directed Harry where to find the traditional Marquess of Somerset wedding robes in a trunk in the Potter vault. Sirius helped Harry try them on as Fleamont spoke from the portrait.

"It's important for a Potter to dress the part, especially at the wedding of a marquess," Fleamont exclaimed. "None of these modern robes, oh no! You need to wear the full ensemble!"

Harry had been a bit worried about what the full ensemble entailed, but Basil helped get his measurements and they ended up re-creating his wedding robes from scratch based on a few old designs and Harry had to admit, he was pleased with it. Madam Malkin was the one who put it together and she'd teared up when she added the finishing touches, claiming he looked even more handsome than his father had.

"The caped cloak is a sign of the aristocracy; it will make you look sharp and a bit like royalty! Then the jacket is the traditional robe worn. I'm happy to hear your wedding colours are matching the Potter ring as those are the colours of not only the Potter coat of arms, but of Somerset as well," Fleamont explained.

"Don't forget about the tiara for Ginny, Monty," Euphemia said. "It should be in the Potter vault as well."

"Tiara?" Harry asked.

"Rubies, diamonds, and gold," Euphemia said with a smile. "It will match her engagement ring. She's going to be a marchioness so the tiara is a necessity on her wedding day."

Harry nodded, determined to take notes as he listened to his grandparents rattle off what he needed for the wedding. He did find the tiara in the Potter vault and when he brought it home and showed it to Ginny, she was going over wedding details with Molly and Zee. Molly and Zee took one look at the tiara and began talking in excitement about how amazing it was going to look on Ginny with her dress.

"The Prewett tiara just won't match the same," Molly insisted. "Perhaps you can wear it at your engagement party?"

"Engagement party?" Harry asked.

Ginny gave him a helpless look. "It wasn't my idea."

"Of course you must have an engagement party!" Molly exclaimed. "It's an absolute must! It won't be as large as the wedding, but it's going to be grand. Theo's already offered to host it in the ballroom of Norfolk Manor."

Ginny leaned into Harry. "I found out about it an hour ago," she whispered. "Mum, Zee, and Theo have most of it planned already."

Harry decided it was best not to comment and when they showed up the first week of December at Norfolk Manor. The ballroom was decked out in a beautiful winter theme of blue and silver. There were white and blue flowers all over the place with centrepieces of red calla lilies and white roses in honour of their wedding. Theo had picked out their attire, insisting that they were going to look amazing. Harry had been hesitant but when he tried on the silver suit with a blue silk tie to match Ginny's dress, but he was comfortable and he had to admit, he looked great. Ginny wore a gorgeous royal blue silk evening gown with the Prewett tiara pinned on her braided up-do and Harry couldn't keep his eyes off of how the silk clung to every curve.

They danced and accepted gifts from friends and family. Ginny's teammates attended with their plus ones and Aurors came to congratulate them. Pictures were taken, splashing their faces all over magazines and papers declaring the Marquess and future Marchioness to be looking their best at the engagement party of the century. Hannah baked an assortment of fairy cakes in different flavours and when the evening came to an end, Harry pulled Ginny close and told her how much he couldn't wait to marry her.

"You sure you don't want to elope?" he teased. "A wedding is going to be even more than all of this? More attention. More people. More photos. More… everything."

Ginny slid her arms around his neck and smiled up at him. "As long as I'm marrying you at the end of the day, I think it will be worth it."

He kissed her, a smile on his face.

Christmas came quickly after the engagement party and called for all of them having a big holiday at Clevedon Court with everyone present. Seeing Sirius and Zee together, celebrating Christmas and then Mina and Leo's third birthday… it was better than Harry had ever imagined.

Life was good.

The year two thousand arrived and in March, Harry and Ginny had dinner with Gran and Grandad where they welcomed Jenny and Josh's new son, Callum Sterling and met Ian's new girlfriend, Madelyn Corner who was the older sister of Michael. In April, they attended the wedding of Ginny's cousin Marius Weasley to Juliet Rinaldi. Pub night had Greg showing up with a big smile as he showed them pictures of his and Pansy's newest son who was born in April: Gavin Gregory Goyle.

Ron became an A2 in May, grinning hugely when Baxter presented him with his badge. Higgins told Harry that if he kept up the good work, he could be an A3 as early as next year. Ginny was playing her second season as a Chaser for the Holyhead Harpies and Harry loved going to her matches and cheering her on. The Harpies made it to the playoffs, but lost in the first round to Puddlemere United. Puddlemere went on to win the Quidditch Cup and despite the disappointment at the loss, Holyhead was determined that next year would be their year to win.

Life was getting back to normal and it was great.

Soon it was only three weeks until their wedding and when Harry came home and heard Ginny arguing with her mother, he wasn't surprised. He knew the stress of the final few weeks was going to be a lot for both of them. He was trying not to think about how many people were going to be at this wedding. He just wanted to marry the woman he loved, the rest was merely a necessity he was trying not to think about.

"Ginny, I just think that you should consider it," Molly said, her voice rising from the kitchen of Clevedon Court. "I know that you love chocolate, dear, but even the royal family doesn't serve something as simple as chocolate. They serve fruit cake at their wedding. It's what Princess Diana and Prince Charles had at their wedding and so did the Queen at hers."

"Mum, we're not having bloody fruitcake," Ginny insisted. "I don't care of if that's what the bloody Queen served at her wedding. Fruitcake is boring."

"Classic vanilla is always a crowd pleaser," Molly continued. "Buttercream frosting perhaps? I just think this Black Tie Mousse idea of yours is a bit too much chocolate. I'll talk to Hannah about changing the recipe."

"Mum, I swear to Merlin if I cut that wedding cake and don't find four layers of chocolatey goodness, I will hex you."

"Ginny!" Molly scolded. "Is that any way to talk to your mother? You're going to be a marchioness, I'm merely saying that something a bit more classic is required."

"I love chocolate," Harry said, coming into the kitchen and slipping his arm around Ginny's waist. "Chocolate is very decadent and you know, it used to be almost impossible for people to get it. I agree with Ginny, chocolate cake is the only way to go."

"Well, if you really think so, Harry," Molly said as Ginny rolled her eyes behind her mother.

"Oh, because Harry says it's all right, it's all good? Doesn't my opinion matter?"

"Ginny, you're being a tad overdramatic," Molly said. "It was just a suggestion. Maybe I'll have Hannah make a small fruitcake or a small vanilla cake with buttercream just to be safe."

"No, Mum," Ginny insisted. "She's already making five hundred fairy cakes and a four tier wedding cake for us. She doesn't need to add more to her plate."

Molly waved her off and said something about meeting Zee for a final fitting on their gowns for the wedding and when she left, Ginny turned in Harry's arms.

"If she changes my cake, I will end her."

Harry chuckled and captured her lips for a long kiss. "She won't change the cake. I'll talk to Hannah. I promise you will have chocolatey goodness."

Ginny sighed and rested her cheek over his heart. "She makes me mental."

Harry wrapped his arms around her and held her close. "Your her only daughter. She's a bit excited. What else do we have left to do?"

"We still have to pick a wedding song," Ginny admitted. "Mum's been going mental about it. Are your robes ready to go?"

"All perfect," Harry assured her. "I had a final fitting yesterday. Ron, Neville, Seamus, Dean, George, Colin, and Theo are all sorted as well."

"Luna, Hermione, and Angelina are going for final fittings on Monday night. I have my shoes. Neville says that the flowers are coming along for the bouquet, the buttonholes, and for our flower girls."

"I dropped the rings off with Fred this morning," Harry assured her. "He'll hold onto them until the wedding to give to Teddy and Leo."

The rings had been something they'd picked out themselves. Harry decided he didn't want to use the simple gold bands that he'd found in the Potter vault so he suggested that he and Ginny go and pick out their own rings. They visited the shop in Wrexham where Sirius and Remus had both picked out their rings and the old woman took one look at Ginny's engagement ring and designed the perfect wedding bands for each of them. They were both yellow gold in a braided Celtic knot. Ginny's was covered in rubies and diamonds and it fit perfectly against her engagement ring as if they were one and the same. Harry's was a thicker band with the same knot braided throughout, but his had three small circular red rubies in the centre of the three knots on the top of the ring.

"I want yours to match mine," Ginny said when he hesitated over the rubies. "You gave me this gorgeous ring, Harry. I want to do the same."

When he tried it on his finger, the smile she gave him told him that no other ring would suffice. They bought them on the spot and Mrs Copper promised to have them ready in a week. Harry tucked them away in a safe in their bedroom until it was time to use them. Fred was in charge of the kids during the ceremony and this included making sure Leo and Teddy brought the rings up the aisle.

"Beau sent word today that everything's on track for the catering," Ginny said.

Beaumont DeRose, Sebastian's brother-in-law, owned a restaurant in Paris and when Sebastian had suggested him as the caterer for their wedding, Harry had been intrigued. Then he tried the man's food and decided he was definitely in. Beau had planned a seven-course-wedding-feast for them that was absolutely to die for.

They were starting with an hors d'oeuveres made of stuffed mushrooms, followed by a cheesy cauliflower soup, then an antipasto appetizer. The salad consisted of spinach, walnut, and cranberries and was followed by the main course which was a choice of steak, grilled lemon chicken, or eggplant with a side of ratatouille and a creamy polenta with fresh bread. It was followed by strawberry chocolate mousse cheesecake for dessert and for the mignardise, there was a chocolate fondue and fresh cut fruit. Harry knew that it was going to be incredible.

"So, just a song for us to dance to then?" Harry asked, kissing her brow.

Ginny nodded, tilting her head back to look at him. "Just a song to dance to."

"All right, let's get to work," he said, kissing her again. "When is Luna arriving back in England?"

"Tomorrow," Ginny said. "She met someone in Corsica."

"Oh yeah? How did they meet?"

Ginny shrugged. "I don't know. She says that she'll tell me when she arrives. She's bringing him to the wedding."

Harry frowned. "I hope he's good to her. I don't want to have to get in his face at our wedding."

Ginny chuckled. "I'm sure he's very nice, Mr Overprotective."

"I just worry about Luna," Harry began. "She's the sweetest person in the whole world."

"And she adores you for it," Ginny assured him. "But let's let her make her own choices, all right?"

"I'll consider it after I meet this bloke," Harry said. "Come on. Let's try to find a song for us. I can't wait to dance with you for the first time as your husband."

Ginny linked her fingers with his and all Harry thought was: Three more weeks.

23rd July, 2000….

Ginny stood in the master bedroom of Clevedon Court in nothing but her champagne lace knickers and matching lace rose buds that covered her nipples. Today was her wedding day and she could hardly believe it was finally here.

Harry had left the night before, making plans to crash in his old bedroom at Black Cottage, leaving Ginny at Clevedon Court. Luna stayed over with her last night and when she'd woken up this morning it was to find her mother in the kitchen with Angelina tossing together omelettes and toast while Hermione and Audrey made mimosas. Theo showed up with more champagne and fresh strawberries dipped in chocolate and Colin had his camera and a big smile. Fleur arrived around ten with Fiadh and soon they were getting manicures and pedicures as they all started to get ready for the day.

Ginny kept her nails in her usual French style, but added a gold swirl on the ring finger of each hand. Her toes were painted a deep red to match the rubies in her ring and her bridal party. Basil and Kreacher were in charge of final decorating and from what Ginny could see, the house looked incredible.

Red and white roses were wrapped around the grand staircase in the grand hall Bouquets of red calla lilies covered the front door of the house in welcome and the back garden looked like a fairy tale come true.

Over three wooden hundred chairs were lined up behind the house each with a deep red back held together with a gold bow and a pearl flower. The back porch had been magically extended so that Harry and Ginny could stand in front of the middle stone arch for all to see. Flowers were draped across the stone with beautiful gold transparent fabric braided throughout. A red carpet was on the stone (Molly had won that debate), leading a trail down the stone steps to the porch and down the centre aisle all the way to the large fountain and pond in the middle of the back garden.

Beyond the fountain was the makeshift Quidditch pitch where Molly and Zee had found a beautiful gold paisley print transparent fabric and charmed it to float like a canvas tent across the whole pitch. It allowed the beautiful sunshine to shine down through the tent, but also kept out the potential rain that the English weather was known for. Stone pillars held the fabric down with flowers wrapped around each one. Floating lanterns were floating above the fabric for when night fell and dozens of dark wooden tables were covered with golden plates, golden goblets, and red cloth napkins. Neville designed gorgeous centrepieces full of lights and flowers for each table and white place cards with gold ink held each guests name set on a plate and tied with a red ribbon.

A dance floor was put down in the middle of the pitch and the head table was elevated on a slab of stone that matched the pillars. The centre of the table had a beautiful string of gold lights intertwining the letters H & G and behind the table was a red curtain tied with gold strings.

It looked positively magical.

Ginny stared at herself in the mirror as she carefully wiggled in the ruby, yellow gold, and diamond dangling earrings that Sirius and Zee had given her for Christmas. She remembered how she'd gasped when she opened them and Sirius had grinned.

"Figured you should have some sexy earrings to match that ring when you get married. You have to look the part when you're Lady Potter."

"He picked them out himself," Zee said with a smile.

He'd done an immaculate job as they were breathtaking. A large diamond stud with two gold circles and another small diamond hanging in a straight line to a gorgeous diamond framed tear-drop ruby.

"Sirius, these are… wow. Thank you!"

"You're welcome," Sirius said.

Ginny removed her other gold hoops from her ears, but did place a diamond stud in her helix piercing. She touched the gold h&g necklace at her neck with a smile. After today, they would be so much more than just Harry and Ginny. They would be the Potters and she couldn't keep the grin from her face.

Ginny added the diamond tennis bracelet that her brothers had given her as a wedding gift, admiring the beautiful simplicity of the slim chain. She touched up her lipstick, a bright ruby red just as the door to the master bedroom opened and Molly and Luna walked inside.

"Perfect timing," Ginny said, turning to grin at them. "Will you help me with my dress, Mum?"

Tears welled up in Molly's eyes as she furiously blinked them back. "Oh, bollocks! I'm going to ruin my makeup!"

Luna pulled her wand out from behind her ear and did a quick charm over Molly. "You'll be great, Molly. That should stop you from smearing no matter how much you cry."

Molly gave her a grateful look before she and Luna moved forward to help Ginny with her wedding dress. Colin came in with his camera to capture the moment as Molly and Luna worked in tandem to dress her. They carefully placed it over her head, helping her pull her arms through her sleeves. Luna carefully buttoned the sleeve at the cuff and as Ginny adjusted the gown at her breasts and Molly sniffed from behind her as she did up each silk button at her back.

Luna and Molly were brushing down the material around her feet and spreading out the train when Theo knocked on the bedroom door.

"Knock, knock," Theo said, holding a bottle of champagne. "I come bearing more gifts."

Ginny turned and Colin snapped another photo, a big smile on his face.

"You look stunning," Theo said, his eyes taking her in.

Molly carefully arranged Ginny's long red hair where it rained down her back and over her shoulders in wide curls. She wore the front pieces braided out of her face and knotted behind her, the gorgeous Potter tiara of rubies, yellow gold, and diamonds sat nestled on the top of her head. Luna bent down to help Ginny slip into her heels: Gold open-toe heels made of embroidered lace and silk that made her red toenails pop.

Colin had hired another photographer to help with the wedding. He'd opened a small photography shop in Diagon Alley called Creevey's Photography three months prior and hired a witch to work with him named Layla Philips. She was amazing and was helping take photos of all of the things Colin wouldn't be able to today.

"Your wedding party looks spectacular," Theo assured her, turning to show her his outfit which included perfectly tailored black trousers, black oxfords, a red velvet waistcoat with gold embroidery on the front and cuffs, a dark grey silk shirt, and a gold tie. He and Colin were dressed the same and her bridesmaids, Luna, Hermione, and Angelina, were all wearing a beautiful red velvet floor length gown with spaghetti straps and an off the shoulder cuff. They wore gold heels to match with red toes and French manicures.

They all looked amazing.

"Hermione and Angelina are double checking the last minute details," Theo said. "Everything looks perfect and Harry is going to come in his trousers when he sees you in that."

"THEODORE!" Molly exclaimed, making Theo grin.

"Oops, sorry, Mrs Weasley," he said, winking at Ginny. "But he might," he whispered, making her snort.

Colin made Ginny pose for more photos as he finished taking pictures of her getting ready before he wanted a few good ones of just her and Molly. Ginny had been determined to make sure her mother along with Zee and Tonks were in gorgeous gowns. She wanted them to look stunning and the dress she'd found for Molly definitely made her look as such.

It was a bright summer blue with a tapered waist. It had long tight sleeves that flowed out into wide lace just under the elbow and dipped a bit to show off some cleavage. Molly wore the same gold heels as the bridesmaids and she'd styled her red hair into a French twist with a gold and diamond clip. Ginny thought she looked stunning.

"All right," Colin said when he snapped the last photo. "Layla's waiting downstairs in the grand hall to get photos of your walk down the stairs. Are you ready?"

Ginny nodded, turning to take one last look at herself in the mirror. Fleur had done her makeup, simple and natural, but her eyes popped along with her ruby red lips. She felt so beautiful and she couldn't wait to see Harry's reaction when he saw her. She couldn't wait to lay eyes on him. She knew he was dressing according to tradition, but she had no idea what that entailed. All she knew was that he was going to look incredible and she couldn't wait to see him at the end of the aisle.

"I'm ready," she whispered, butterflies fluttering in her stomach.

Theo and Luna walked behind her to help her with the train as Colin and Molly headed down the stairs. Ginny put her hand on the railing of the stairs, looking down at where all six of her brothers were waiting and when she began her descent, she watched each one of their mouths drop open.

"Blimey," Ron said, speaking first. "Ginny, you look…"

"Like a bride?" Ginny suggested.

"We were thinking like a girl," Fred teased.

Bill shook his head, stepping forward to offer his hand as she walked down the last few steps. "You look bloody magnificent, Ginny. Not my little Firecracker anymore."

"I'll always be your little Firecracker, Bill," she said.

Bill kissed her hand, tears glimmering his eyes. "Beautiful."

Charlie put his arm through hers. "So beautiful, Jitterbug," Charlie said. "Harry's mouth is going to drop when he sees you in this. You look like a princess."

"A marchioness," Percy corrected, taking her other arm. "Ginevra, you're gorgeous."

George cleared his throat as he stood in front of her. "Nevra… just wow."

Ron nodded. "Seriously, Ginny. You look incredible. Our little Dinny, all grown up."

Ginny smiled at each nickname her brothers had for her. "I'm marrying Harry Potter today, can you believe it?"

"Always knew you'd marry him, Gem," Fred said with a smile. "It's a good thing too. If you hadn't, we were going to make him marry Ron. We need him in the family."

"Oi!" Ron said.

George slapped a hand on Ron's back. "As if you wouldn't marry Harry if we told you to. You two are already madly in love with each other as it is."

"Are they shagging yet?" Fred asked. "That would cement it."

Ron snuck his tongue out. "You two are gits. Piss off."

"Good thing you snatched him up, Ginny," George teased. "Ron was moving in."

Ginny chuckled as Ron swore at them.

Colin and Layla ordered them all together for photos, individuals and group shots both with and without Molly. When they finally said they were done, Fred leaned in to kiss Ginny's cheek.

"All right, Gem, I have to go find the kids and get them ready. I'll see you when you walk down the aisle."

Charlie did the same. "I'll be at the alter waiting to marry the two of you. I just want to check on Aydin real fast. You look so beautiful."

George pulled out gold handkerchiefs from his pocket. "Everyone take one."

"Why?" Percy demanded.

"So you have something to blubber into, Perce," George said.

Percy rolled his eyes. "I'm hardly going to cry."

Charlie nudged Ron. "He says that now. I bet you ten Galleons he cries harder than all of us."

"No bet," Ron said. "Bill's going to cry worse than all of us."

"Piss off," Bill said.

And Ginny just smiled.

It was going to be a perfect day.

Harry let out a slow breath as Sirius carefully fastened the black and gold cloaked cape over Harry's shoulders. He was standing in front of the full length mirror in Sirius and Zee's bedroom in his full wedding attire still a bit shocked to realize that today was the day he was finally going to marry Ginny Weasley.

Ginny had no idea what he was wearing and he was incredibly excited and nervous to see her reaction to his robes; almost as much as he was anxious to see her. His waistcoat was the same deep red as the rubies of her engagement ring with gold embroidery dazzling it. It had a high collar, making it stand high over the black cloaked cape with gold embroidery along the hem. He had tailored black trousers and black leather boots. He wore a black engraved vest with gold buttons and a gold brooch at the neck of his black shirt that was a star with a single diamond in the centre.

"It's a Black heirloom," Sirius told him when he pinned it to Harry's shirt at his neck. "I think it works with your attire. After all, Harry, today you're the star."

Sirius passed him the dark clip for his wand which he carefully attached at his waist to hold his wand in place. To keep with the traditional attire, he swore a red and gold scabbard at his right side holding the broadsword that had once belonged to his multi-times great-grandfather, James Jeffrey Potter. The basket-hilt was gold and silver, encrusted with red rubies on the end. It was hidden under his cloak for the most part, but he could feel the heavy weight of it against his leg despite its ceremonial presence.

Harry smiled at his godfather, the father he'd grown up with. Having him here today with him was more than he'd ever dreamed of. His gaze met Sirius' in the mirror as he stood behind him and Harry couldn't help but feel emotion rising in his chest.

"Perfect," Sirius said, smoothing out his shoulders. "You look like a marquess, Prongslet."

"He really, really does," Remus said, making Harry turn around to look at the other man he considered a father.

Remus reached forward to cup his chin in his long fingers. "I'm glad you decided not to listen to Zee. The stubble beard suits you."

"Ginny likes it," Harry said with a smile.

Zee had suggested he might consider shaving it off for the wedding to look more clean-cut, but he'd told her he couldn't do it. He remembered how a few months ago he'd considered shaving it off. He'd been standing in the bathroom of the master bedroom suite, razor in his hand when Ginny had padded in half asleep. She watched him lift the razor to his neck and her eyes had narrowed.

"No!" she'd shrieked, surprising him.

Half a second later, she'd jumped onto his back, locking her legs around his waist from behind and taking the razor out of his hand.

"Problem?" he asked with a laugh.

"You weren't thinking of shaving it off, were you?"

"Kind of," he admitted. "Thought it was time for a change."

Ginny leaned in and nuzzled his cheek. "I love it. Don't shave it. Please? For me?"

He turned his head to kiss her. "You like it, eh?"

She nodded, nipping at his bottom lip. "I like how it feels scraping against my thighs."

Harry turned and sat her on the bathroom counter before he knelt down before her and lifted up the tee shirt she'd slept in.

"Well, why don't we do that then, just to be sure you really like it."

The sounds of pleasure she'd made had been enough to convince him — he was never shaving it off.

Harry turned at the sound from the doorway, shaking the memory from his mind as he smiled at the sight of Zee standing there. She had her hands up over her mouth as she gasped at the sight of him.

"Oh my goodness! Harry, you look so handsome," Zee said, her eyes glimmering in tears.

She fanned her hands in front of her face as if to hold back the tears and beamed at him.

"Oh, sweetie… it's your wedding day!"

Harry couldn't help but grin at that. It was his wedding day and it felt amazing to realize it. His stomach was fluttering with nerves, but he knew that none of it had do with marrying Ginny. No, the nerves were about everything else: The ceremony, the vows, the first dance… he just wanted to see the woman he loved and promise to cherish her forever.

Zee came up to stand in front of him and he took a second to admire how beautiful she looked. She was wearing a bright violet strapless mermaid gown with off the shoulder straps and gold heels. Her dark brown curls were pinned on one side of her face with a gold comb, wild curls dancing over her shoulders and back. She wore diamond hoops in her ears and a diamond necklace.

"Wow," Harry said, taking her in. "Zee, you look beautiful."

"One hot mama," Sirius agreed, moving in to kiss her.

Zee placed a hand on her husband's chest. "Back up, Black! My lipstick is perfect so stay away."

Sirius pouted. "Wow, barely a year of marriage and the romance is already gone."

Zee ignored him as Remus chuckled.

"Harry, look at you," she beamed, moving in to attempt to fix his messy hair with her fingers.

She ordered Remus to grab some mousse and a moment later her fingers were raking through his hair with determination. Five moments later she let out a triumphant, "ha!"

When Harry turned to look at himself in the mirror, he had to admit, whatever magic her fingers had done had left his hair looking artfully tousled instead of his usual standing up on end. Someone whistled and he turned to grin at Tonks in the doorway.

While Zee looked gorgeous in bright violet, Tonks was rocking a striking gold dress. It had thick shoulders, cutting into a deep v with a high back and the material was gold and shimmery. Her bright pink hair was a bright purple today and it was almost shoulder length curls as they danced over the gold. She wore gold heels as well with rose gold and diamonds at her neck.

Harry had to admit, Ginny had helped them both pick out incredible dresses. It made him wonder that much more just how gorgeous Ginny was going to look. Sirius and Remus wore dark grey trousers with matching long black waistcoats and tails. While Remus had a gold vest and a purple tie, Sirius' vest was purple with a gold tie to match their wives. Charlie was dressed the same, but his tie was bright blue to match Molly's dress.

Ron knocked on the door with the woman he recognized as Layla, Colin's newest hire at his photography studio. "Hey, Layla wants to grab a few more photos before we head over to Clevedon Court."

Harry nodded, smiling at Ron. They headed downstairs into the living room to snag more photos and he grinned when Seamus handed him a glass of whisky.

"One sip," Zee said, giving Seamus a look. "You will not be drunk when you walk down the aisle, Harry."

Seamus pulled a flask out of his black velvet waistcoat and winked making Harry laugh.

Ron, Neville, Seamus, Dean, and George were all dressed the same. Black trousers, black oxfords, a black velvet waistcoat with gold embroidery down the front and on the cuffs with a red silk shirt and a gold tie. Theo and Colin were to be wearing, the same but their velvet waistcoats were deep red like the bridesmaid dresses and they had dark grey shirts with gold ties. He smiled as he watched Tonks and Zee carefully add their white rose buttonholes to their jackets and adjust the little red pocket squares in their coats.

They posed for photos and then Layla said that she had to get over to Ginny for some final photographs. Ron turned to smile at him, smoothing out the cloaked cape on his shoulders.

"You really do look the part. All rich and snooty-like."

Harry's lips twitched. "That was clearly my goal."

"Figured," Ron said. "Ginny is going to lose it when she sees you."

"Agreed," George said. "Looking snazzy, Potter. I'd even do you."

Harry snorted. "Thanks, I think?"

"Oh, it's definitely a compliment," George said, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively.

Seamus tilted his head to look at Harry's behind. "Your arse is sadly hidden, but I'm loving how form-fitting the trousers are. You look sexy, Harry. Doesn't he, Dean?"

Dean gave Harry a thumbs up. "Fantastic. Seamus is still the only man for me, but you do look good."

George passed Harry the glass of whisky that Zee had taken from him. "All right, let's not let the compliments get to Harry's head. Have a sip, Harry, and let us know if you need to bolt. You're already family so if you want to escape before you tie yourself down to our mad sister, we've got your back."

Harry grinned. "And if I said yes?"

"We'd hunt you down, drag you up the aisle, and cuff you to the stone until you said I do," George reasoned. "To either Ginny or Ron, whoever says I do first."

"Piss off," Ron said.

Harry snorted. "I expect nothing else from you lot."

George slapped a hand on Harry's back. "We know you love her, mate. Now, Ron and I have to go see our dear sister before the ceremony. We'll meet you there."

"Don't get into too much trouble," Ron teased. "Nev's in charge."

"What about me?" Seamus demanded.

Ron turned to look at Seamus, lifting an eyebrow. "Only a nutter would put you in charge."

"Oi!"

"He's got a point, babe," Dean said, putting his arm over his boyfriend's shoulders.

Ron and George headed out and Tonks and Zee hurried after them to check on things. Seamus poured shots for Harry, Neville, Sirius, Remus, himself, and Dean with a smile.

"One drink to watching the first of you losers get married."

Dean rolled his eyes. "I'm going to remember that if we ever get married."

Sirius chuckled at their antics as he lifted his shot. "To Harry."

"To Harry," they all said before taking the shot.

Neville clasped his hand on Harry's shoulder. "Next up is going to be me so I'm looking to you as an example today."

"Merlin, don't do that," Harry said. "I don't know what I'm doing."

"I believe that," Seamus teased. "But you're marrying the woman you're in love with. Sounds pretty great to me."

"Yeah," Harry said, smiling. "That's the best part."

Seamus urged them all to have a second shot and called out, "To Harry and Ginny."

"To Harry and Ginny," they said said, shooting back the whisky.

"All right," Remus said, calling everyone's attention. "No more whisky until after the ceremony or Zee will have all of our arses. Seamus, Neville, Dean, why don't you all head out to Clevedon Court. We'll meet you there."

They all headed out a minute later, leaving Harry alone with his fathers.

Harry shuffled nervously, adjusting his glasses.

"Are you nervous?" Remus asked.

"Yes. No," Harry admitted. "Not to marry her. I'm… ecstatic at the thought of that. It's just the whole being up there in front of so many people…"

"It's only around three hundred or so," Sirius teased. "Just a small wedding, really."

"Not helping, Uncle Siri," Harry said.

Remus chuckled and placed a hand on Harry's shoulder. "Well, you're already doing remarkably better than James did."

"I am?"

"Oh, yeah," Remus said. "He was just a bouncing ball of energy. He was bubbly over marrying your mum to the point that he was worried it was all a dream."

"But he was completely mental," Sirius said. "Love that bloke to death, but he was mad as a hatter."

Harry grinned. "I can't wait to marry her. I can't wait to watch her walk up the aisle, to put my ring on her finger, and to hear Charlie announce us as husband and wife. I don't think that I've ever been so excited for anything in my life. Is that mental?"

"No," Remus said, brushing a finger down Harry's cheek. "It sounds like you're madly in love."

Sirius squeezed his other shoulder with a wide smile. "Well, are you ready to let two handsome Marauders walk you down the aisle?"

"No," Harry said, a small smile on his lips. "But I'm ready to let the two greatest dads ever do it."

Remus blinked back tears. "Well, I think that we can do that. Let's go."

Sirius met Remus' eye and they grinned at each other.

Twenty minutes later, Harry was standing by the fountain in the middle of the garden in the back of Clevedon Court looking out at the hundreds of chairs surrounding the red carpet that was lined with flowers and lights leading up to the stone porch of their home. He could see Charlie standing at the front in front of the centre arch that was decorated in flowers on the magically expanded platform. He turned to smile at Sirius when he hooked his left arm in his right and then at Remus when he came up on his opposite side.

"You ready, Prongslet?" Sirus asked.

"Completely," Harry said.

An instrumental version of Aerosmith's "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" began to play from where a small band sat in the corner.

Remus squeezed Harry's hand in his. "Let's get you married, Little Prongs."

Harry couldn't keep the smile off of his face as he began his trek down the aisle between the two men who had raised him. He barely saw the guests in the seats, barely took in the large number of people with their eyes on him. He felt nothing but pure elation as he walked down the red carpet and up the steps to the back porch of Clevedon Court. He stepped up in front of Charlie with a smile and turned as Remus hugged him first, kissing his cheek. Sirius did the same, squeezing his shoulder in assurance and then the two of them took their seats in the front row. Zee and Tonks began their walk down the aisle next.

The two of them walked arm in arm, looking incredible in violet and gold, bouquets of red, gold, and white in their hands. They came up the steps to see him, Tonks doing a half skip/half trip along the way before Tonks leaned in to kiss his cheek.

"Small stumble. I'm all right. But you… looking handsome, little brother. I'm so proud of you."

She winked and then Zee blinked back tears, leaning in to kiss his cheek.

"So handsome, sweetie," she whispered. "I love you. Thank you for letting me be your mum."

"I love you too," Harry said, hugging her. Zee let out a sniffle before she moved to take her seat next to Sirius.

Once Tonks and Zee were seated with Sirius and Remus, Harry watched as George and Angelina linked arms and began their walk down the aisle. He was vaguely aware of Layla snapping photos in the background. Then it was Colin and Dean, followed by Hermione and Seamus, Luna and Neville, and finally Theo and Ron. Theo winked at him when he came up to stand on Ginny's side and Ron clasped Harry's shoulder in assurance, a big smile on his face.

Then they all turned and watched as Fred ushered Mina and Aydin up the aisle. The two girls looked adorable in their little red dresses with gold bows at their waist. Fred waved his wand over their baskets as they skipped down the aisle, sprinkling flower petals in glee.

Teddy and Leo were next.

The two boys matched the groomsmen with black trousers and black oxfords, but wore just the waistcoat vest rather than the full jacket. It was the same black velvet with gold embroidery on the front. Red silk shirts and a gold bowtie with a red fedora with a gold ribbon. They were each holding a red velvet pillow with a ring in the centre. Fred followed the boys up the aisle, carefully placing rose petals on the ground as glitter fluttered around him as he looked to be doing his own little dance as he walked.

Ron shook his head. "He can never do anything halfway, can he?"

"I'd expect nothing less," Harry said, grinning as Teddy carefully passed Theo Harry's ring.

"I did it!" Teddy exclaimed making everyone chuckle as Leo brought Ginny's ring to Ron.

Teddy and Leo gleefully high-fived all of the groomsmen until Remus, Sirius, and Zee collected the kids and brought them to their seats while Mina and Aydin kept curtsying to the aww's of the crowd. Then the music changed. The opening of Bryan Adams' "Everything I Do, I Do It For You" began to play instrumentally as Ginny and Molly stood in front of the fountain at the back of the aisle. Harry swallowed as he took her in, eyes on hers and thought the sun had opened up at the sight of her.

Her dress was magnificent and the rubies and diamonds in her ears and in her tiara shone in the sunlight as her long red hair flowed over her shoulders and down her back. When she began to walk towards him, he drank her in, unable to take his eyes off of her.

The dress was breathtaking. It was was all ivory cream tulle with tiny pearls sewn into embroidered silk and lace flowers. The translucent tulle between her breasts exposed two centimetres of skin and her breasts were nestled above the gown like an offering Harry very much wanted to worship; the silk buttons provided a small gap between her cleavage about two centimetres wide. The gown left her shoulders bare with strapless flowing long half sleeves with silk buttons on the cuff. It was form fitting at the waist, tapering off into a ballgown that flowed to the ground in a long beautiful train behind her. He could see a hint of ruby red on her toes beneath the dress in her open-toed heels, but it wasn't the outfit that had him starting.

It was the woman inside of it.

Her lips were painted the same red as her toes and the Potter tiara glistened in the late afternoon sunlight. Her red hair looked like strands of pure sunlight shining over her shoulders and setting off a glittering glow from her jewellery. He could see the glint of her engagement ring from the bouquet she held of red calla lilies, white roses, and gold baby's breath tied with a gold ribbon. Her warm brown eyes were heightened with something that made her lashes look fuller, longer, and her eyes even more gorgeous than usual.

Harry felt his heart stutter and not for the first time he wondered how someone so beautiful had chosen him. He watched the dress move with her and he licked his lips, seeing nothing and no one but the stunning vision walking towards him.

Ginny couldn't take her eyes off of Harry either.

He looked so incredible standing before her. The robes fit him perfectly, the coat and cloak making him look like some aristocratic Prince Charming. She caught sight of the sword in the sunlight and thought she'd never imagined he could look more handsome, but he did. From the caped cloak, to the red and gold jacket, to the dark trousers and black boots… he took her breath away.

She drank him in greedily and when the music began, she knew that she would walk beyond the ends of the earth to him without hesitation. The look in his eyes as he stared at her said everything she couldn't say aloud.

Molly squeezed her hand in hers, tucking her arm at her side and making her remember to breathe. "I'm going to do my best not to cry, Ginny."

Ginny reluctantly tore her gaze away from Harry to smile at her mum. "I love you, Mum."

Tears welled up in Molly's eyes and spilled down her cheeks as they began to walk together down the aisle towards Harry. Ginny kept her eyes on the man she loved, but she knew that her mother was sniffling next to her. When they reached the stone porch, Molly carefully placed Ginny's hand in Harry's and blinked back her tears.

"Take care of each other," she whispered.

"Always," Harry said, not taking his eyes off of Ginny.

Molly kissed both of their cheeks before moving to sit in the front row, taking the handkerchief that Bill passed her and blowing her nose.

Harry let his eyes roam over Ginny in awe, taking in the beautiful swell of her breasts above the ivory and licked his lips.

"Wow," he whispered. "You're the most beautiful sight I've ever seen."

"I can say the same," Ginny said, her lips curving.

Charlie cleared his throat, but neither of them tore their gaze away from each other. A quick Sonorus Charm from Charlie had his voice magnifying for everyone to hear him.

"Good afternoon. I'm delighted to stand before you today and perform the ceremony to bind these two in magical matrimony…"

Ginny listened to her brother's voice, but her eyes stayed on Harry, a huge smile on her face as she took in his handsome figure. She knew hundreds of people were staring at them, but he was all she saw and the look in those green eyes told her that he was experiencing the same reaction.

"Ginny," Harry began when Charlie said his name. "I've loved you since we were kids. You hugged my puppy and kissed me on the lips before I even knew you and I think I gave you my heart that day. You're the most amazing woman that I've ever known. We've been through a lot together. You might even say, we've had a lifetime. From bad dreams to giant snakes to love potions and undersea adventures. It took us a while, but we realized that there was something more there. When I came back from Greece and you laid your ear over my heart just to make sure that it was still beating, I thought I knew how much I loved you then. But I really had no idea at all. From our first kiss to snowball fights in Hogsmeade or me beating you in a broomstick race because I was the better flier back then. Not so much anymore," he said, making a few people chuckle.

"You've been there for me at my worst and all of my bests have been with you, Ginny. You're my best friend, the love of my life, my entire heart and soul. It was you I wanted by my side after everything that happened in the tournament and it was you who held my hand and took care of me the next summer when my world turned upside down. You're the girl who isn't afraid to tell the world I belong to you and the woman who refuses to back down from danger unless I do the same. You're the first person to tell me when I'm being an idiot and the last person to judge me for my mistakes. You're the first thing I think of when I wake up in the morning and your face is the last thing I see when I close my eyes at night. You breathe life into me in ways that no one else ever can. You make me laugh. You make me think. You make me so happy even when you're stealing food off of my plate or nicking my jumpers. I am madly in love with you. I want the good and the bad. I want the passion, the love, and the adventure that being your husband will give me. Today, I stand before you as not only the man who's hopelessly and completely in love with you, but as your best friend, your other half, your equal partner in everything. I love you with everything I am. You're my dream come true, Ginny Weasley. I love you."

Ginny's eyes glistened in tears at his words. She hadn't expected his vows to make her cry and now she was doing everything in her power to stop her vision from blurring. When he brought their joined hands to his lips, a tear escaped down her cheek

"You can't make me cry through my vows," she said, making a few people chuckle in the audience. "Harry, I love you. I've loved you for what seems like my whole life. You were always my best friend, my confidant, and even my hero. There's no other twelve-year-old-boy I know who would come save me from a giant basilisk without getting any help from an adult," she teased. "Having a crush on your best friend is hard enough before he comes and saves your life with the sword of Gryffindor. It makes it a little hard for anyone else to live up to that, not that they could. But you're so much more than just a hero to me. You're noble to a fault and ridiculously stubborn and when you kiss me, everything just falls into place. You're my heart, Harry. When you kissed me on the Quidditch pitch in front of all of Hogwarts, it felt like a dream, but when I opened my eyes and saw yours staring back at me, I knew it was more than that. It was the beginning of everything. We've had our ups and downs, most of them not entirely our fault, and we've made mistakes together and apart. But we're stronger together and I promise to love you every day for the rest of our lives. I will always be the one to tell you when you're being an idiot and I will be the first person to stand in front of you if someone else dares to do the same. I promise to stand with you against everything and to protect you as you've protected me. Let me be your hero for once, Harry Potter, and I will give you forever. I love you."

A loud sob echoed from where Hagrid was sitting and Harry turned to smile at the man who waved him off.

"It's just so beautiful," Hagrid sobbed, taking the handkerchief from Madame Maxime who sat next to him.

Molly, Zee, Sirius, Remus, Tonks, Bill, and Percy were all crying as well as Percy blew his nose into the gold handkerchief clutched in his fingers.

Harry's own eyes glistened in tears and Ginny smiled at him as another tear slid down her cheek.

Charlie beamed at both of them, wiping a tear from his own eye. "Harry, do you take Ginny to be your lawful wedded wife, to love and to cherish, to care for in sickness and in health, to be yours, forever and for always?"

Harry heard the words vaguely, his eyes locked on the gorgeous brown ones looking back at him.

"I do," he said clearly.

"And do you, Ginny, take Harry be your lawful wedded husband, to love and to cherish, to care for in sickness and in health, to be yours, forever and for always?"

Ginny was doing the same thing. She couldn't take her eyes off of Harry. The traditional robes, a blend of modern and old were gorgeous and he looked incredibly sexy. His hair was perfectly tousled, his emerald green eyes were bright with happiness, and when Charlie posed the question to her, she touched her tongue to her bottom lip.

"I do," Ginny said.

Charlie smiled. "May we have the rings, please?"

Theo handed Ginny the ring for Harry as Ron did the same for Ginny.

"Repeat after me, Harry," Charlie said.

"With this ring," Harry began, "I am giving you a token of my love and devotion to you. This ring has no end or beginning, it signifies the continuation of our love. As I place this ring on your finger, I give you all that I am and ever hope to be as your husband and your heart. With this ring, I gladly marry you and join my life to yours. Forever and for always."

When he slid the ring onto her finger, his tears spilled over and Ginny's bottom lip trembled.

"Ginny," Charlie said.

"With this ring," Ginny said, her voice quivering in emotion. "I am giving you a token of my love and devotion to you. This ring has no end or beginning, it signifies the continuation of our love. As I place this ring on your finger, I give you all that I am and ever hope to be as your wife and your heart. With this ring, I gladly marry you and join my life to yours. Forever and for always."

She slid Harry's ring onto his finger and his tears fell on their joined hands.

"I love you," he whispered.

"I love you," she whispered back.

Charlie beamed at them, tears openly running down his cheeks and into this thick beard. "If you'd both like to take out your wands. Hold them against the other with your ring hands," he instructed as Harry and Ginny each held each other's wands crossed together like an x. "Repeat after me, together. With these wands crossed, I hold your magic within me."

"With these wands crossed I hold your magic within me," they repeated.

"By holding onto my lover's wand I claim safety and swear to never use my magic against my lover in anger or animosity."

As they repeated the words, a golden swirl of power emerged around their crossed wands, binding them together as they switched hands, now holding onto their own wands.

"Magic to magic, heart to heart, soul to soul, we are one and we are all," they said as the gold tightened and exploded into soft dust that fluttered to the ground.

Charlie smiled. "And alas with the exchanging of rings and the merging of wands, I can now pronounce you, husband and wife: Two hearts bound entirely by love. You can kiss the groom already."

Ginny laughed at Charlie's change in the words and she leaned in to do just that. Her lips met Harry's for a long, deep kiss as cheers and applause erupted around them. When she pulled back, she saw his eyes glistening.

"If you keep crying, I'm going to blubber," she whispered.

"Hold it together, Weasley," he teased.

Ginny lifted an eyebrow. "It's Potter now."

"Yeah," he whispered. "Yeah, it is."

Then she kissed him again.

They held hands as they walked down the stairs and down the aisle as people made lights dance with their wands around them with big smiles and watery eyes. When they reached the end of the aisle, Colt had Ebony waiting for them with a red and gold blanket draped over her back. Harry lifted Ginny at the waist, placing her up onto the horse as he carefully organized her train into her hands. He climbed up behind her as people cheered. Then he captured her mouth in his as Ebony took off around the back of the property at a gallop.

They rode the horse around to the front of the house where Layla was waiting to snap more photos. As the wedding party joined them, Harry lifted Ginny down from the horse as cameras flashed and he knew that he'd never felt happier.

Ginny couldn't believe that she was finally married to Harry. The ceremony had been a blur of emotion that she swore she would remember none of and yet each second was burned into her memory at the same time. When they finally finished their photos, cocktails were well under way. Harry and Ginny rode Ebony back around the house to the edge of the reception and everyone cheered. Harry lifted her down off of the horse, swinging her around in a circle and she wrapped her arms around his neck as they kissed to cheers and applause from their guests. Charlie whistled and loudly introduced them for the first time as Lord and Lady Potter, the Marquess and Marchioness of Somerset.

They mingled among their guests until it was time for dinner and Harry eagerly dug into all seven courses of the fabulous meal prepared by Beau DeRose and his employees. The second course started off the speeches and Harry groaned when Theo stood up.

Ginny grinned. "Stop. He's going to be great."

"And embarrassing," he muttered.

"I heard that, Harry Potter," Theo said as he charmed his voice to magnify. "Welcome everyone to this beautiful wedding of Hinny Potter because that's who they are, Harry and Ginny are Hinny and it fits. For those of you who don't know me, I'm Theodore Nott, and I'm honoured to be here today, standing before you as Ginny's Man of Honour and I promise to keep this short and sweet."

Theo picked up his glass of champagne as he spoke. "Chick, we were an unlikely friendship, meeting in the kitchens of Hogwarts in the middle of the night when nightmares kept us awake. We snacked on mint chocolate ice cream and formed an Insomniacs Club and an incredible friendship was born. Ginny's one of the most amazing people I've ever met and seeing her fall for Harry was like watching the best love story you've ever seen unfold before your very eyes. They belong together and anyone who knows them knows that one without the other just isn't right. Their love transcends time. Now as Ginny's Man of Honour, it's my job to stand up here and embarrass her, but I'm not going to do that. No matter how many fruit baskets Harry sends me in thanks for everything I've taught his new wife. And by the way, mate, I think you owe me another one." He winked and Harry hid his reddening face behind his hands. "But all jokes aside, Harry's titanic love for this woman is the biggest thing I've ever seen. He would move worlds for her and it's a love like that that we can only hope to find ourselves. Chick, you're my best friend and even when Harry and I had our romantic dinner together in France or when we cuddled together, I knew he was always only yours. Harry, you have a big heart and it's always open to anyone who needs it. I'm glad it's Ginny who gets to keep it safe for you. I wish you a hundred centuries of happiness and love. To Harry and Ginny."

Everyone toasted the couple as Theo hugged Harry and Ginny, kissing them both on the cheek and removing the charm from his voice.

"Titanic?" Ginny whispered.

Theo winked. "I couldn't resist, chick." He turned to Harry. "See, not embarrassing at all."

Harry shook his head in amusement as Theo sat down just as Ron stood up.

Ron cleared his throat, charming his voice to be loud. "Hello. I'm Ron Weasley, best mate and best man to Harry here and best brother to the beautiful redhead he just married."

"Oi! Lies!" Fred yelled from the crowd.

"Ignore him, he's just jealous because I'm right," Ron said as people laughed. "I first met Harry as a kid when Ginny invited this stranger she met at the park to her birthday party. We were instant friends, but I don't think we really became close until Hogwarts. We comforted each other when we had nightmares. We got drunk on Irish whisky when Seamus made us play 'Would You Rather?' and we talked about our hopes, our dreams, and our greatest fears. I've watched him face death more times than I can count, but I've also watched him dance around drunk and naked so even though he's the bravest man I've ever met, he's also the stupidest. You know I'm right, Harry."

Harry chuckled.

"But watching Harry fall in love with my little sister made sense. I can't imagine either of them without the other and honestly, they keep each other in line. I know they will continue to be disgustingly in love for many years to come. Harry, you've been my brother for over a decade and I'm proud as hell to make it official today. To Harry and Ginny."

Ron moved to hug both of them as another course of dinner was served and Molly stood up to speak.

"Good evening. I'm Molly Weasley, the mother of the bride," she began, tears in her voice. "I am so proud to stand up here today and see my little girl marry the man of her dreams. Ginny, I wish your father was here to see you looking so radiant and so happy. I know that he's here with us today, smiling down upon you and Harry. I'm sorry," she said, blotting a handkerchief to her eyes. "Harry, you've always been part of our family. I'm honoured to officially welcome my seventh son into the fold. I love you both very much. Thank you for letting me be part of your special day and thank you to everyone who found the time to come out and celebrate with us today."

Ginny got up to hug her mum as Molly blubbered and Harry hugged her as well.

"Thank you, Molly," he said, kissing her cheek. "I love you, too."

When Sirius and Remus took a turn, Harry turned to look at them in interest and Ginny reached for his hand.

"Good evening," Sirius began. "I'm Sirius Black and this is Remus Lupin. We're for lack of a better term, Harry's dads. All of you here know the story about the Boy Who Lived, but what you don't know is that James and Lily Potter were our best friends. I was named godfather to Harry and we were uncles to him. We adored him. The first day I held him in my arms, I vowed to be the best bloody godfather I could be. The last thing I expected was to end up raising him. Thank Merlin I had Remus' help."

"Being an uncle was more than I ever imagined," Remus said. "When I was given the opportunity to be more, Sirius and I did our best. We laughed. We cried. We yelled until we were hoarse, mostly at each other."

"The first time we had to punish Harry, I don't know who was more traumatized me or Harry," Sirius said, making people chuckle. "We played pranks and we taught him to be a good man. Looking up at him now, married to the woman he loves, I don't think we did too bad."

Remus smiled warmly at Harry and Ginny. "Harry always knew he could come to us with anything and he did. We stayed up late into the night talking about books, about the war, and sometimes even about sex. He was full of questions."

Harry's cheeks flushed hot and Sirius chuckled.

"I took Harry on a holiday when he was about eight and I remember listening to the tour guide tell us all about the Roman art and architecture and the only thing that Harry wanted to know was why anyone would want to put their prick into someone else's mouth," Sirius said, his eyes twinkling in laughter. "I think it's safe to say, he knows the answer to that now."

"Bloody hell," Harry muttered, his face heating as Ginny laughed next to him.

"We love you, Harry. I wish James and Lily had been given the opportunity to raise you, but I'm thankful every bloody day that I got to do it if they couldn't. I love you and I'm so proud of you."

"We love you both and wish you the best in life," Remus said. "To Harry and Ginny."

"To Harry and Ginny," Sirius repeated.

Harry toasted his fathers before he turned to kiss his wife and she smiled against his lips.

"So, do you like putting your prick into my mouth, Harry?" she whispered.

His flushed skin darkened as his eyes filled with lust. "You know I do," he said, kissing her again.

"Good," Ginny said with a wink. "Because I like it too."

Then she clinked her champagne glass with his.

They finished up dinner with laughter and smiles and when the sun began to set, Zee stood up and called the Marquess and Marchioness of Somerset up for the first dance.

"Well, Lady Potter?" Harry asked.

"That's going to take some getting used to," Ginny said as he swept her up into his arms.

"If I have to be a lord, you have to be a lady. Marriage rules."

Ginny laughed and linked her arms around his neck. "Seems fair, Lord Potter."

Harry held her hand in his, his other hand resting on her waist as they started to dance. They hadn't known what song to choose and after days of going over the songs suggested by the DJ, they decided to mash up thirteen different songs that spoke of the love they felt for each other.

They didn't do a big choreographed dance, but Harry loved dancing with Ginny in his arms and he planned to have a good time as they did so. Ginny stared into Harry's eyes as they swayed to the music. She swore his heart was beating in time with hers and when she caught sight of the ring on his finger, her own heart soared.

You must remember this
A kiss is just a kiss
A sigh is just a sigh
The fundamental things apply
As time goes by
And when two lovers woo
They still say "I love you"
On that you can rely
No matter what the future brings
As time goes by

Harry turned her in his arms as he sang in her ear, very off key.

And you can tell everybody
This is your song
It may be quite simple, but
Now that it's done
I hope you don't mind
I hope you don't mind that I put down in words
How wonderful life is
While you're in the world

Ginny spun out as he turned her and pulled her back against his front as the music changed again.

Baby, I'm amazed at the way you love me all the time
And maybe I'm afraid of the way I love you
Maybe I'm amazed at the way you pulled me out of time
You hung me on a line
Maybe I'm amazed at the way I really need you

"I always really need you," she whispered, brushing her lips with his.

Every time our eyes meet
This feelin' inside me
Is almost more than I can take
Baby when you touch me
I can feel how much you love me
And it just blows me away
I've never been this close to anyone or anything
I can hear your thoughts
I can see your dreams
I don't know how you do what you do
I'm so in love with you
It just keeps gettin' better
I wanna spend the rest of my life
With you by my side
Forever and ever
Every little thing that you do
Baby I'm amazed by you

Harry spun her out again, pulling her close as they danced across the room, oblivious to the few hundred people who were watching them. The beat sped up as Frankie Valli began to sing and they began a foxtrot. Ginny smiled up at him as she remembered how they'd practiced in the living room of their home, laughing the whole time.

I love you, baby
And if it's quite all right
I need you, baby
To warm a lonely night
I love you, baby
Trust in me when I say
Oh, pretty baby
Don't bring me down, I pray
Oh, pretty baby
Now that I found you, stay
And let me love you, baby
Let me love you

Harry dipped her on "you" and she kissed him before he pulled her back up and led her into a waltz.

L is for the way you look at me
O is for the only one I see
V is very, very extraordinary
E is even more than anyone that you adore can
Love is all that I can give to you
Love is more than just a game for two
Two in love can make it, take my heart and please don't break it
Love was made for me and you

"This is more fun than I thought it would be," Harry teased.

"Dancing with you is always fun," Ginny replied.

"This is one of the best days of my life, Gin," he whispered as the music slowed and he pulled her close again.

Like a river flows
Surely to the sea
Darling, so it goes
Some things are meant to be
Take my hand
Take my whole life, too
For I can't help falling in love with you

They continued to hold each other close, Ginny's arms linked around his neck as they swayed to the music.

I can feel the magic floating in the air
Being with you gets me that way
I watch the sunlight dance across your face
And I've never been this swept away
All my thoughts just seem to settle on the breeze
When I'm lying wrapped up in your arms
The whole world just fades away
The only thing I hear
Is the beating of your heart
'Cause I can feel you breathe
It's washing over me
And suddenly, I'm melting into you
There's nothing left to prove
Baby, all we need is just to be
Caught up in the touch
Slow and steady rush
Baby, isn't that the way that love's supposed to be?
I can feel you breathe
Just breathe

Ginny's mouth met his again for another kiss as Steven Tyler began to sing.

I could stay awake just to hear you breathing
Watch you smile while you are sleeping
While you're far away and dreaming
I could spend my life in this sweet surrender
I could stay lost in this moment forever
Where a moment spent with you is a moment I treasure
Don't wanna close my eyes
I don't wanna to fall asleep
'Cause I'd miss you, baby
And I don't wanna miss a thing
'Cause even when I dream of you (even when I dream)
The sweetest dream would never do
I'd still miss you, baby
And I don't wanna miss a thing
Lying close to you, feeling your heart beating
And I'm wondering what you're dreaming
Wondering if it's me you're seeing
Then I kiss your eyes
And thank God we're together
And I just wanna stay with you in this moment forever
Forever and ever

"This is the beginning of our forever," Harry whispered as the music sped up again and he led her into a line dance, laughing as they met at every turn and hip bumped each other.

I can't see me lovin' nobody but you
For all my life
When you're with me, baby, the skies'll be blue
For all my life
Me and you, and you and me
No matter how they toss the dice, it had to be
The only one for me is you, and you for me
So happy together
Ba-ba-ba-ba ba-ba-ba-ba ba-ba-ba ba-ba-ba-ba
Ba-ba-ba-ba ba-ba-ba-ba ba-ba-ba ba-ba-ba-ba

Harry pulled her close again on the last "ba" and dipped her.

Been with you such a long time
You're my sunshine
And I want you to know
That my feelings are true
I really love you
(Ooh) Oh, you're my best friend

Ginny linked her arms around his neck again as the music slowed and Céline began to belt out her vocals.

You were my strength when I was weak
You were my voice when I couldn't speak
You were my eyes when I couldn't see
You saw the best there was in me
Lifted me up when I couldn't reach
You gave me faith 'cause you believed
I'm everything I am
Because you loved me.

And finally the tempo changed once more as Harry took her hand in his and Bryan Adams began to sing while other couples began to join them on the dance floor.

Look into my eyes, and you will see
What you mean to me
Search your heart, search your soul
And when you find me there you'll search no more
Don't tell me it's not worth tryin' for
You can't tell me it's not worth dyin' for
You know it's true
Everything I do, I do it for you
Look into your heart, and you will find
There's nothing there to hide
Take me as I am, take my life
I would give it all, I would sacrifice
Don't tell me it's not worth fightin' for
I can't help it, there's nothin' I want more
You know it's true
Everything I do, I do it for you

"Everything I do, I do it for you, Gin," Harry whispered in her ear. "I love you."

"I love you," Ginny said back and when he kissed her once more she knew it was only the beginning of the rest of their lives.

End Author's Notes:

Thank you to everyone who has been following my dive into this world for the last six years.

I could not decide on a wedding song. I changed my mind probably a dozen times or more so I decided that Harry and Ginny are the types to do a mashup of sorts. On the lyrics I provided, that was the parts of the song they danced to. In ASC, Harry is a decent dancer as he was taught by Zee, Sorcha, Flo, Colt, and Sirius and he loves to dance with Ginny so I thought adding a little choreography (not a lot because Harry isn't into that) but a bit into their slow dancing was fun. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

DISCLAIMER: I do not own the lyrics to the songs above which are as follows:
As Time Goes By by Dooley Wilson
Your Song by Elton John
Maybe I'm Amazed by Paul McCartney
Amazed by Lonestar
Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You by Frankie Valli
L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole
Can't Help Falling In Love With You by Elvis Presley
Breathe by Faith Hill
I Don't Want To Miss A Thing by Aerosmith
Happy Together by The Turtles
You're My Best Friend by Queen
Because You Loved Me by Céline Dion
Everything I Do, I Do It For You by Bryan Adams

All music of ASC is on a playlist on YouTube, the link is in my pinned post on Tumblr — breaniebree.

Thank you for following the Kismet Trilogy with me for the last six years (wow!).

The following 10 chapters will be epilogues covering our favourite couples in their lives from jobs, babies, and more: All with time jumps and all basically being it's own mini novella. I hope you enjoy the epilogues as they come and remember they are full of time jumps that will sometimes interconnect with the others! Therefore where epilogue one ends, epilogue two will jump back a few years earlier and then further ahead and so on.

Thank you for reading and please review!
