It was ten years after the fall of Voldemort. Harry Potter was taking a few minutes out of his day to visit the war memorial in Hogsmeade when he heard a voice from his past that caused a shudder to go down his spine.
"Mr Potter. I thought I would find you here. Hee-hee"
"Hello Dolores. Has it been ten years already? Gee I guess it has. How was Azkaban?" Harry asked calmly.
She was looking thin and gaunt. Skin hung loosely as she shook slightly, "You destroyed everything. Everything I believed in and worked for. A better world for magicals. You and that little bitch Granger."
"You know Dolores. Its rather rude to insult someone's wife. Especially when she's not here to kick you into your hat."
The sad creature before Harry sneered and twitched, "I never forget the wrongs done Potter. Its time for you to meet your fate!" She drew a wand and with a sudden flick and twist of her wrist cast "Avada Kedavra."
The gout of green energy sped towards harry who raised his hand and caught it. Forming it into a ball of crackling green he smiled at the former professor, "Dolores. I was the Master of Death. This still gives me a few special privileges you know."
Dolores gaped at him in confused fear, "How, how. What?"
Sighing harry walked forward until he was standing directly in front of her. "Dolores. You just tried to murder me. Normally I would have just killed you back but I will give you everything, I will give you the world you wanted. May you enjoy it for the rest of your life."
He brought the ball of green energy up and shoved it into her face. She gasped as the green glow suffused throughout her body.
When she woke up Potter was gone. She looked at herself in confusion. She was young and svelte again. She heard her name being called by Cornelius. The only man she had ever desired. She walked into the mansion to find her servants and followers bowing to her. A small crown was on her head. She smiled as her adoring fans crowded around her. All trying to touch and worship her. Order prevailed once more.
Harry looked down at the twitching drooling form of the dying Dolores. She would live out her desires discovering that adoration can be just as painful and unpleasant as hate when taken to extremes.
He smiled sadly, "You should have just left it alone Dolores. I hope you enjoy the world you always wanted."
He stood up and pulled a phone out of his pocket. Calling the office he arranged for a clean up crew as he walked away. The sightless eyes of the former technically human Dolores Umbridge locked on the infinite skies overhead.
