"Jewel! Jewel wake up!"

She groans as she sits up. She was a young woman, looking to be in her near 20's. She climbs out of her bed before opening her closet. She grabbed a blue shirt and shorts. She slips on her high boots before brushing her hair.

"Jewel! Breakfast!"

"In a minute, Mom!" Jewel shouted, tying her long hair into pigtails.

She then took a birth before looking at an image she kept. On it was a teenage robot girl and an old woman. She didn't remember the old woman, but the robot girl was well known. XJ-9, better known as Jenny Wakeman. Her sister.

Jewel Wakeman, A.K.A XJ-10, was built 50 years ago when Jenny was still saving the world. One day, she disappeared and no one could find her. Jewel barely remembers anything about that time, only that she was found in a pod by another young woman named Selina Carton. Selina was into the late Nora's work and was able to make robots based on Jewel.

Jewel was the last of the XJ series and the final robot that Nora Wakeman made. Unlike her sisters, Nora pushed past her normal limits to build an XJ robot to be as close to a human as possible. A robot that could actually be human with her program stopping her. Jewel was very much an android, but far more advanced than anything everyone had seen. Jewel heard of her sister's stories. Jenny wanted to live a normal teenage life and also had to keep the earth safe from threats.

"JEWEL!"

She sighs. Earth has been at peace for a long time, but Jewel couldn't shake something was wrong. She got up and headed downstairs, ready to start her day.

Selina Carton was a robotic scientist who followed the late Nora Wakeman since she was a child. When she found Jewel's pod, she could tell that this was the last of Nora Wakeman's creation.

After finding a message from the late doctor, Selina promises to watch over Jewel as her own. It has been five years since she found her and started a new race of robots. She heard her adopted daughter enter the kitchen and handed her a plate of pancakes.

"Happy Birthday, Jewel," Selina said.

Jewel's eyes widen, having forgotten what today was.

"Has it really been five years since you found me?" Jewel asked.

"It has. Since I don't know when you were built, and you barely remember your actual mother, we decided on this day to celebrate your birthday." Selina said.

Jewel sighs. She very much wanted to know her real family, but XJ-1 though 8 had long shut down, and XJ-9 was missing. Jewel was the last of the Wakeman family.

"Jewel?"

She looked up and sighed.

"I'm fine." She said.

Selina knew she wasn't. If there was one thing Jewel wished for, it was to know more about her real family. That didn't mean she wasn't bad as a mother. Jewel barely remembered her creator/mother. And she only heard stories of her sister.

"Are you going to visit her today?" Selina asked.

"Yeah." Jewel nodded.

"Well, don't forget that we are heading out to see the museum today. I'm still working on getting your younger sisters." Selina said.

"I know. It's just sad that they can't be repaired." Jewel said.

"Jewel, remember, you're a Wakeman. If there was one thing your sister, Jenny had to learn, nothing is easy. Whether it's being a hero or having a normal teenage life." Selina told her.

Jewel nods, understanding what she was telling her. She ate her pancakes, ready to start this birthday off.

Jewel placed some flowers on the grave that was her mother/creator. Jewel wishes she could remember more about her, but her files didn't have much on her.

"Hey, mom. It's my birthday today. I know it's not the day you made me, but I wanted to visit you again." Jewel said, kneeling to the grave.

"Things have been peaceful since Jenny disappeared. I'm sure she's fine, but at the same time, I'm worried. Wherever my sister is, I hope she's alright." Jewel said, before touching the grave.

"I wish I could have met you and her. What I would give to know my family. I wished...I wished I wasn't built so late. I wished..." Jewel stopped, feeling tears travel down her cheeks.

"Look at me. Your final daughter, being selfish. Heh, you would probably be ashamed to see me like this." Jewel said, wiping them away.

Jewel stood stood, taking a breath.

"Just know, if the earth's peace should ever break, I'll step up to keep it safe. That's a promise." Jewel said.

Jewel looked towards the sky, trying to image her sister Jenny looking down at her.

"Same to you, Jenny." She added.

Jewel turns away, ready to go see her other sisters. She didn't see someone walk up to the grave and place flowers next to hers. The person looked at Jewel and smiled.

"Thank you, XJ-10."

Museum,

Jewel stood in front of the display that held XJ-1 through 8. Each of them looked different. And were left mostly unfinished. However, that didn't stop her from seeing them. Many of the staff knew why. Most let her stand there, understanding this was the only time that she could see her siblings. The Owner is refusing to let them go and was planning on adding XJ-9 and her should they ever shut down.

"Jewel?" Selina said, making her turn.

"I'm fine." She said, looking back at her sisters.

"Bye, XJ-1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and 8," Jewel said, walking up to her mother.

Selina had tried once again to get the owner to relish the other XJ Models, but he would refuse, claiming that they belonged to the museum. As well as XJ-10. Selina would turn the tables on him each time.

"That man, thinking that Nora's machines are nothing but relics. Pah! He doesn't understand the work she put into them!" Selina groans.

Jewel could only sigh. She didn't like the owner either. Each time she came to see her sisters, he would mention that he was preparing a special case for her and XJ-9 It was like he only saw the XJ Series as a money maker for the museum. Jewel already refuses to let herself be some displayed when her time comes. Which won't be for a long time.

They walked past the exhibit that covers Jenny's heroism for the Earth. However, Jewel never believed what was there. Before he passed away, Jewel would visit Tuck Carbunkle, who was a long-time friend of her sister. He would tell her things that the museum would not. While he didn't go on every adventure, he heard most of the tales from Jenny herself. Jewel still has those stories stored inside her memory blanks.

She sighs before noticing someone else.

"Vega?' She asked, seeing the Queen of Cluster Prime on Earth.

"Hey, Jewel. Happy Birthday." Vega said, walking up.

Jewel knew that Vega was the daughter of her family's long-time rival, Vexus. However, Vega was different from her mother and made peace with Earth. She was also looking into Jenny's disappearance.

"Thanks," Jewel said as the two hugged.

"I take it your mom is still out there?" Jewel asked.

"Yeah. It appears she had no idea about you yet." Vega said.

"I'm glad that you were able to bring peace between our planets." Jewel smiles.

"Me too," Vega said, looking at the exhibit.

"Yesh, I may not know everything about Jenny, but I doubt she'll accept all this," Vega said, rolling her eyes.

"I came here to visit my sisters. The owner still refuses to sell them and still wants to add me to the collection once my time comes." Jewel said.

"HA! Like that would happen." Vega laughs.

Jewel smiled before she picked up on something. Her eyes started to twitch until she used her X-ray to look through the roof. She spotted a few armed men on the roof and heard them talking.

"There she is. She's with the XJ Robot."

"What should we do if she chooses to fight us?"

"She can't. Robots can't hurt humans."

Jewel frowns. That was something different about her compared to her sisters. They were robots, she was an android. Jewel sighs before turning to Vega and her mother.

"We have some armed goons planning to attack you and thinking I'm not going to step in because they are humans." She said, making Vega sigh.

"They still think I'm like my mother," Vega said.

"Will you be alright, Jewel?" Selina asked.

"Yeah," Jewel said, hugging her.

Once she lets go, Jewel touches the gem on her, changing her into her robotic look. She looked very close to her sister, Jenny, only she was a lighter shade of purple and had pincers instead of hands. The glass above them breaks and the goons drop in.

"Queen Vega! Your so-called treaty will be your undoing!" One of them said.

Vega rolled her eyes. She stated many times that she was not like her mother. But she wasn't going to waste her breath this time.

"XJ-10, please stand aside." Another said.

"Sorry, but Vega is a family friend," Jewel said, stepping in front of Vega.

"But she's..."

"The Daughter of Vexus, who my sister, XJ-9 defeated many times. I know! She helped overthrow her mother when Jenny went to Cluster Prime!" Jewel said, having heard the whole story from Vega.

"And you would let her trick everyone?" A Goon asked.

Jewel sighed before she threw out her pincer, grabbing all the weapons. She brought them back to her before crushing them.

"Vega is different from her mother. If you can't see that, then you have no right trying to destroy what she works hard on!" Jewel said before firing a net from her hand.

She caught the goons and shook her head. Vega placed a hand on her shoulder, smiling.

"I need to be alone," Jewel said, making Vega and Selina nod.

Jewel walks away from her mother and friend, sighing to herself. This was not the birthday she wanted. She sat down near an old machine and shook her head.

"Why can't everyone just accept it? Why does everything have to be so hard?! I just want to know my family! My REAL family! I want to meet my sisters before they shut down! I wanted to meet Jenny before she disappeared. I WANTED TO HAVE FAMILY BESIDE MY MOM!" Jewel shouted, hitting the machine in her anger.

Jewel sighs. She shouldn't get upset about something she had no control over. She recalled what her mother once told her. How she should be happy with what she has now and be glad for it. And she was. But she still wanted to know her family. She wanted to know what it was like to have 9 other sisters welcome her home and hum in excitement...

'Wait, hum?' Jewel thought before turning to see that the machine turned on.

"Oh no." She said, looking very worried.

She had to stop it!

"Everyone get clear!" Jewel shouted, making many people notice the machine turning on.

Jewel quickly ran towards the controls, turning her pincers into hands. She quickly looked into how to shut it down, but it didn't stop.

"Jewel?!"

"Mom, stay back!"

Nothing she did could stop it. Jewel had no other choice. She had to destroy it. She flew in front of the machine and formed two cannons from her hands. She fired at the machine. However, it sucked up her blast and started to pull her in.

"JEWEL!"

Jewel lose her grip and was sucked inside. Then the machine turned off and everything was quiet.

And I bring you another MLAATR story, this time covering my version of XJ-10. A character was made into a gag in the show. Didn't stop fans from making her, though.

Jewel Wakeman, A.K.A XJ-10, is the last creation of Nora Wakeman. Since Jenny never did go rogue, Nora built XJ-10 for a different reason. To be the very first robot to be free of the shackles that her sisters had. Jewel is classified as a highly advanced Android, able to be human as closely as possible. While Jenny had shown to do that during the show, Jewel was already free to make those decisions the minute she woke up. However, Nora did fear what would happen if Jewel was to be awakened at her time and seal her away for the safety of the Earth.

And now, Jewel has a life. Her mother/creator has long passed and her sisters have either shut down or disappeared. So, what happened to Jewel? you'll see in the next chapter.

By the way, the Email problem still hasn't been fixed. I'm still getting that message that tells me that my Email is not working. And I don't have any way to inform the heads of Fanfiction about it. And don't tell me to use Tweet. I don't have one.
