The Soul Warrior.

This is a crossover story between Bleach and Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Warriors. I had just recently thought of it a few days ago and decided to write it. I already have a crossover story between the Legend of Zelda and Fairy, so I'm excited to write another crossover story, this one being Bleach instead. I'm planning to write more crossover stories of Bleach in the future.

Summary: Ichigo gets transported to a different dimension after battling a weird-looking Hollow he had never seen before. Stuck in the new dimension with no way to contact for help, will Ichigo find a way back home or will he be stuck in a place he doesn't know?

There will be no pairings at first because I'm not sure how I want the story to progress. I have a few ideas, but I need time to think about it, considering this is a new story I'm writing. If you guys do want pairings in the story, write it in the reviews; your reviews will help the story.

Also, if you guys are wondering when the story takes place in Bleach, this takes part right after Ichigo gets his Soul Reaper powers back. I always liked the Fullbring Shikai and Bankai because they looked amazing and they rarely got used during the Thousand Year Blood War. So, those powers will be in the story. As for Hyrule Warriors, it takes place during the first battle in the game.

Alright, that is everything I wanted to say. I hope you guys enjoy this new story and without further ado, let's head right into the chapter!

Disclaimer: I do not own Bleach or the Legend of Zelda. All rights go to rightful owners.

Enjoy the chapter.

Chapter One: A History of Two Legends.

There are two legends. Two different legends with their own fascinating history, a history that's been passed down through generations, but in two different dimensions.

In one dimension, one legend is about an empty world, completely devoid of all life, being created by three golden goddesses that descended from the heavens. These three goddesses created their own faucet for the empty world and soon, the world that had once been void and empty with no single ounce of life was created. In the world the goddesses created was filled with life, living beings, laws, order and peace.

As the three golden goddesses departed to the heavens with their task of creating the world complete, which was named Hyrule, they left behind a relic, a sacred relic that represents the three goddesses' divine power, providence and valorousness.

This relic was called…the Triforce.

The Triforce represents a union of Power, Wisdom and Courage, which is named after the goddesses. Din is Power, Nayru is Wisdom and Farore is Courage. Each virtue of the Triforce is very important because it gives Hyrule life. Without it, the land would lose life and will never be restored, no matter how hard the people worked. When a relic is either gone or destroyed, you have to face this fact: The land is gone. There's nothing you can do about it.

But that wasn't the worst part. The Triforce also represents a maintaining balance in Hyrule, a balance between good and evil…a balance that's almost been shattered many times.

Due to the Triforce's great power and the fact it can grant anyone, either a good person or a bad person, a wish, many people sought after the sacred relic, wanting to use it for their own desires. This had led to many bloodshed and countless battles because of an emotion that appears in many people's hearts when they first heard about the Triforce.

Greed.

Deep greed appeared in many people's hearts from learning about the Triforce's power and that's why they want to use it for one purpose: To make their lives better; become filthy rich without doing any work and be the strongest people in the world. But very few can actually claim the Triforce since they don't have the strength or willpower to control it.

Yet, one did. One person was able to claim the Triforce and it wasn't a normal person. It was a great evil.

A great evil with wicked intentions, desires and ambitious goals came into the world and claimed the Triforce to conquer Hyrule. Its heart was so black, so cold, so malicious and so evil that can make even a pure hearted person cringed very uncomfortably. It cared for only itself. The great evil wanted to establish fear and misery into the land, reshape said land to its own twisted image with monsters roaming around and have the light replaced with darkness. Because of this, Hyrule was plunged into a state of misery-sorrow and the helpless people…could do absolutely nothing since they don't want to be killed or turned into a monster.

But there was hope.

Whenever Hyrule is threatened by the great evil and its darkness, a hero would restore peace to the land, a hero clad in green garments and wielding the legendary blade of evil's bane, the Master Sword. The hero fought the great evil's forces bravely, never once gave up, solved many traps and puzzles, particularly hard ones that require patience and fought the great evil itself, defeating it and sealing it away into the depths of darkness. This had happened three times in a row.

The first time it happened was when Hyrule wasn't even found at all where the land was called the surface, devoid of human life. The people named it that way because they were living above the clouds for refuge, never dared to go underneath the clouds since it will get them killed. What the people didn't know was that they were also refuging the Triforce and the evil one, knowing the location, set its sights onto the scared relic to use for wicked intentions. But before it could get its evil hands on the relic, it was stopped by the Chosen Hero of the Goddess Hylia, the Hero of the Skies. The hero, along with the spirit of the Master Sword, defeated and sealed the evil one away in the Master Sword, giving peace to both the surface and the sky.

The second time it happened was when the evil one took on a new form and was born anew many years later, resetting its sights on claiming the Triforce to conquer Hyrule again. It managed to acquire a piece of the Triforce, the essence of Power, making it the King of Evil. But the essence of Wisdom and Courage were given to the people who were very worthy to have them. The essence of Wisdom was given to the princess of Hyrule, while the essence of Courage was given to the hero clad in green, the legendary Hero of Time. The Hero of Time and the Princess of Destiny, along with the six Sages, thwarted the evil one's plans and sealed it away in the Chamber of Sages where it had never been seen or heard again.

The third and final time it happened was when the evil one, very persistent of not giving up, rose again many years later before getting sent in the Twilight Realm. The evil one consumed the inhabitant's anguish and hatred to grow strong. Once it was strong enough, it laughed a devastating attack on the unprepared land of Hyrule, taking the beautiful warm light away and replacing it with cold dark shadows.

For a moment, the evil one thought victory was finally in its grasp with land being covered in shadows and no one, saved for itself and the princess of Hyrule, can enter the shadow land without being turned into a soul. But the fact was proven false when the hero clad in green appeared, known as the Hero of Twilight, and brought the warm light back into the land with the help of his partner, the Twilight Princess. The two, along with the princess of Hyrule, managed to defeat the evil one once again and sealed the shadows away with the evil one. Peace and light shined upon Hyrule after all the hard work the Hero of Twilight and the Twilight Princess did.

But no matter how many times the hero clad in green brought peace to Hyrule, the evil one will always come back years later and threaten the land to get the Triforce, only to be stopped by another hero clad in green and the princess of Hyrule. It was almost like a cycle, a never-ending cycle…a cycle that is cursed.

The cursed cycle was created by the very first great evil right after it was defeated by the Hero of the Skies. Its hatred for the goddesses, along with its wicked intentions, desires and ambitious goals, will be passed onto an incarnation that will continue to try conquering Hyrule and claim the Triforce. The incarnation will also have the evil one's blackest, coldest, malicious, evil heart, making it care for only itself. Any monster working the evil one will be slaughtered mercilessly if they fail their mission to kill the hero clad in green.

It had to be stopped.

The cursed cycle between the evil one and the hero clad in green must be stopped. If it continues to exist, Hyrule will always be threatened and plunged into darkness. Apparently, the next hero came to realize this as well and divulged a plan to end the cycle once and for all. When the evil one was defeated again, the hero split its dark twisted soul into four fragments, which finally broke the cursed cycle. Each fragment of the soul was sealed away in different space and time locations where they can never be reunited.

The first fragment of the dark soul was sealed away in the era of the Sky where it all began, the second fragment was sealed away in the era of Time where the evil one took on a new form and the third fragment was sealed in the ear of Twilight where the evil one used the shadows to its advantage. The fourth and final fragment was sealed away in a scared holy temple, known as the Temple of the Sacred Sword, imprisoned by the legendary Master Sword, the same sword the hero clad in green wielded to strike down the evil one in every era of Hyrule…and the same sword that split the dark soul into four fragments.

With the dark soul locked away in different space and time locations, Hyrule had finally entered a golden age of peace…

But how long can peace remain in the land of Hyrule?

In the other dimension, one legend is about a group of dead guardians, known as Soul Reapers or Shinigami, protecting the souls who had perished against evil creatures called Hollows. They are corrupted spirits with white skull-like masks on their faces, appearing in different sizes and have only one goal in their mind: Devour innocent souls.

The Soul Reapers would battle against the Hollows, purify them with their weapons, which are called Zanpakuto, and perform a Soul Burial on the innocent souls, sending them to a place called the Soul Society, a heavenly peaceful place where all the souls live until they either become a Soul Reaper or a reincarnated as a new human. If the innocent souls don't get sent to the Soul Society before the Chain of Fate that appears in every soul is entirely corroded, they would become Hollows and must be purified by a Soul Reaper.

This is the fate of a Soul Reaper's job, battling Hollows, protecting innocent souls and maintaining a balance between the Soul Society and the Human World, also known as the World of the Living. Without the balance, the two worlds will collapse, along with the birthplace of Hollows, Hueco Mundo.

But the Soul Society wasn't always a heavenly peaceful place. Oh, it may be the afterlife where the deceased souls had gone to, but it was far from peaceful. It was a chaotic place.

A chaotic place where there was so much blood, death and fear in the air, no rules or laws and no sense of sane people, only bloodthirsty killers who loves killing people for fun or boredom. These killers were known as the Gotei 13 or the Thirteen Court Guard Squads. Their job is to protect the Soul Society from any kind of danger or threat, yet they didn't face any danger or threat for a long time until the Quincy Blood War came.

The Quincy Blood War began a thousand years ago, led by a single man named Yhwach, the Quincy King. He and his army of Quincy's are the opposite of Soul Reapers. While one group purified the Hollows and believes in justice, along with honor and tradition, the other group exterminate the Hollows for good and believes in peace, finding painless fights, as well as conflict, a nuisance. These facts made the two groups different than each other and because of these said facts, it made them go to war.

Said war had been intense, brutal, violent and bloody with both sides giving it their all and not giving up. In the end, the Soul Reapers won the war and the Quincy's were wiped out, along with the Quincy King. Right after the Blood War ended, the Soul Society underwent a transformation. Rules and laws were created, the atmosphere change from fear and death to peaceful and the bloodthirsty killers of the Thirteen Court Guard Squads were replaced with sane, intelligent and powerful Soul Reapers. The once chaotic Soul Society had changed into the heavenly peaceful place everyone knew and loved.

But even with peace in the Soul Society, there had always been threats that forced the Thirteen Court Guard Squads to take out, making them wonder how long it would take until peace can stay forever…and the threats to disappear.

That was a question every Soul Reaper had in their heads, a question they wanted to know...and a question that will never be answer.

Alright, that is the ending of the very first chapter! I hope you guys enjoyed reading it because I did put effort into writing this story, especially the Soul Society's history since I'm not sure if there are any fanfic stories about it. If there are stories about the Soul Society's history, then I hope this history I wrote is good.

I won't spoil anything about the next chapter because I want it to be a surprise, but the next chapter title will give you the idea what it's about. I hope you guys are prepared for it because I'm going to make sure it's interesting…right after I think about how I want to write it out.

But anyways, here is a new chapter for a new story and I hope you guys enjoy the crossover idea.

Write a review if you like this story and enjoy the chapter.
