Here I present myself with a new translated chapter!
Thank you very much for your support so far, we are entering the last chapters of this story.
Before I start, I would like to answer a review:
Dakota: As I clarified in the previous chapter, right now I'm writing other stories and as such I have to divide the priority between all of them. The most is that from now on the updates will take this amount of time.
With nothing more to add, it's time to begin.
Enjoy!
A large army of different races ranging from Valkyries to Yokais and Angels were in Hell, guarding Trihexa's Dimensional Prison. That small crack that was seen at the Gathering of the Factions so many months ago now formed a great rift that threw small lightning bolts everywhere, it was contracting in an extremely disturbing way, as if something or someone was trying to get out. Those closest to the huge and worrying fluctuations were visibly nervous and terrified, although that was not the case with Azazel, Odin, Yasaka and Michael who looked quite relaxed for reasons that almost everyone did not understand.
Azazel's relaxed look changed a bit as he noticed how a great pressure emerged in the atmosphere, alerting the whole army. Still, he remained calm as did the other Faction Leaders.
"Here they come." Was all the Cadre said, only to have the great clouds above the site disperse completely to reveal the figure of a huge crimson dragon.
The entire army lowered their weapons and watched in astonishment as the dragon approached them, being accompanied by various subjects flying around it. The first to be clearly seen were Tiamat, Penemue and Rossweisse who were flying close together with a smile. On the other side were the Angels who were also happy to be reunited with their friends after a long month of training, while Vali was flying a little far away from them and was accompanied by all his team.
The last ones to be seen made everyone's eyes widen, as Ophis, Gasper and Loki were sitting on the dragon's head, waving happily, with the exception of Ophis and Loki, who were a bit on the sidelines.
Though what really surprised them was seeing the person in the middle of the two men as he carried the cute Dragon Goddess in his arms.
"It's the Dragon Hero!" One of the Valkyries was quick to shout out his honorific that they themselves had bestowed upon him, it being impossible for anyone to forget that smiling face.
Great Red glowed brightly and his dragon body vanished into tiny particles, sending everyone flying and landing on the ground, right in front of the unstable breach.
"Get into position." Great Red didn't even look at the army, all he did was give an order and everyone apparently involved nodded.
Tiamat landed alone on the first weakened seal, while Vali and Tannin concentrated on the second seal, and finally Gabriel, Dulio, Rossweisse, Yasaka, Odin and Loki were preparing to take care of the last one.
"What is all this?" One of the Angels asked with much confusion and uncertainty, as he really didn't understand anything about it, and in fact, the vast majority were like him.
"I know you must have a lot of questions now, but this is no time for explanations." Everyone looked at Issei after his words, seeing how the brown-haired man was completely serious.
"The only thing we are going to tell you is that we Three Dragon Gods will enter the prison to contain the Trihexa. You guys just need to keep those who are in charge of keeping the seals stable safe." This time it was Great Red that spoke, who folded his arms with a dangerous look on his face.
"Is that clear?"
All the soldiers were intimidated by the God's curt and solemn tone, so he received nothing but silence.
"Leave the motivational talk to me." Issei clarified with a nervous smile, causing Great Red to raise an eyebrow.
"Motivational talk?" Before he could ask what was the need to waste time with that, Issei took several steps forward and spread his dark dragon wings, causing everyone to gasp in surprise as a huge pressure burst from his body the moment he activated his purple gauntlet.
"Listen to me carefully...!" Issei floated overhead in a voice loud enough for everyone to hear and see.
"Today we came to defend ourselves with little hope!"
"Today we all thought we faced the end of our times! But that hopelessness was what made us strong!"
"Because thanks to that we decided not to close in on ourselves, but learned to believe in everyone!"
"Today we chose to trust each other! That's why I can assure that there is no longer a Valkyrie, an Angel, a Yokai, a child, an old man, a man or a woman who is alone! Today I am no longer alone!"
"I am no longer alone because I have all of you! Therefore, no matter what we must face!"
"Today we will stand up to all those monsters who want to wipe us out, and we will destroy every single one of them!"
"Today they wanted to bring the end upon us, but...!"
"TODAY WE WILL SHOW THEM THE TRUE MEANING OF THE APOCALYPSE!"
CHAPTER 86: FIGHTING FOR THE FUTURE!
The army had spread out a bit for Ophis to enter her purple dragon form, being a bit smaller than Tiamat in that form. Great Red was riding on his head, and Issei seemed to want to do the same, but someone stopped him.
"Issei!" His three beloveds exclaimed his name, causing him to look at them and he realized instantly that they looked very worried.
Issei decided to heed their call and climbed down from the dragon's wing to go talk to them, who were at the first seal to keep Tiamat company.
"We know exactly that Great Red and Ophis will focus more on keeping the breach closed from the other side than on the battle, so you will fight alone..." Penemue spoke, but Issei didn't let her finish when he raised his hand.
"I'd rather fight alone than have you girls run the risk of engaging in a deadly battle." Issei instantly clarified seriously, though that statement didn't convince any of the three.
"But...!" Tiamat complained as she clenched her fists.
"Listen..." The dragoness put her dispute aside as she felt Issei's hand position over her cheek.
Tiamat focused her eyes directly on Issei's, and she could feel her heart clench at the confident and determined look he was giving her.
"I'm lucky to have met you." Those words made Tiamat's eyes glaze over as her lips trembled. "I still remember all those times you protected me. That's why I ask you just this once to let me protect you." A treacherous tear escaped from her eye after hearing her beloved's words.
Issei caressed her cheek some more and after a few seconds added his last two words:
"I'm counting with you?"
Tiamat just nodded her head faintly, causing a delicate smile to grace Issei's face.
"Thank you for being my best teacher." Issei positioned himself in front of Penemue, who was folding her arms with clear intent to endure crying. "Almost everything I am, almost everything I learned, I owe it all to you. Thank you for being so strict with me even though you loved me so much. Thank you for trusting me, and, most of all, thank you for making me grow up." Penemue's hands clenched tightly over her arms and a large amount of tears emerged from her eyes as she gave a slight nod.
Finally, Issei landed in front of Rossweisse, who was on the verge of tears.
"I didn't think such a strict Valkyrie could be so graceful and kind." A small laugh escaped her lips after hearing those words, in addition to that small furtive tear that fell on the hands covering her mouth. "You made me understand that love is nothing more than simple passion. You made me understand that the most boring things can actually be the most fun. And you made me understand that I don't need to be the only man in the earth to be loved." Issei placed his forehead on hers, causing them both to close their eyes. "Thank you for waking me up. Thank you for loving me." Those last words managed to make a large amount of tears slide down Rossweisse's face without her being able to control it.
Issei separated a little from all of them, observing how all of his beloveds were very moved and affected by the moment.
"Don't worry..." Issei opened his arms as a radiant smile emerged from his face.
They all ran into his arms and hugged him tightly. Those present stood in complete silence, allowing themselves to be captivated by such a scene and becoming more and more moved by every sob that escaped the lips of the three women.
"I promise I'll be back."
A moment later...
"So this is what a Dimensional Prison looks like from the inside..." Issei thought aloud, not being able to hide that awe in his tone.
It was only natural for him to feel that way, since the place was really big, much bigger than he would have thought, plus the only color that reigned in the area was black, added to the ground and the hills, so it was safe to assume that this Dimensional Prison was like a small planet.
"Don't get distracted by the sights." Great Red instantly clarified at the same time as his body began to emanate a large amount of magic, just like Ophis' body. "This place is very dangerous. Presences can't be felt properly, so there may be many surprises lurking." Concluded the dragon, receiving a nod from Issei.
Ophis began to advance in her dragon form carefully, carrying both Issei and Great Red on her body. The three of them were advancing without saying absolutely nothing, so the tense moment expanded for what was a large amount of seconds.
"How silent..." Issei stated with his arms crossed, feeling slightly uncomfortable.
"It's strange that we haven't crossed paths with her yet." Great Red agreed with Issei's words, and must have admitted that he was feeling rather uneasy as well.
Ophis' eyes furrowed as she saw a silver flash in the distance, so she stopped in her tracks at Issei and Great Red's surprise.
"What's wrong?" Issei consulted her as he placed a hand on her head.
"I think I saw something..." Great Red brought his face to a particular point after hearing Ophis' words, apparently also sensing something odd in the atmosphere.
Issei's brows furrowed for a short second as he felt a flash present for milliseconds, so it didn't take him long to raise his face in that direction. His eyes widened beyond belief as a silver magical explosion headed straight for him without warning.
"Watch out!" Great Red shouted as he created a magic circle, instantly blocking the attack.
Issei quickly stood up and watched in complete amazement as a large number of silver magic circles emerged from everywhere, launching a large number of attacks.
Ophis was quick to open her mouth, generating a large purple sphere in a matter of seconds.
"DRAGON SHOT!"
Ophis' attack was responsible for destroying much of the magical attacks. Issei unsheathed his katana in one swift movement and the purple armor surrounded his body completely. His actions did not end there, as he began to send magical blasts to each of the attacks to destroy them, while Great Red was in charge of building several barriers to block the attacks that reached far away.
After spending a great number of seconds blocking and destroying the attacks, the magic circles finally stopped attacking. Although Ophis threw various Dragon Shot to destroy a large amount of them, there were still an absurdly high number.
"What a fucking welcome!" Issei broke the silence with a somewhat shaky breath at the surprise attack.
"I already knew you would come, that's why I prepared this little thank you for coming to visit me..."
Everyone turned their faces, watching as a figure fell to her knees over Ophis' body. That figure slowly recomposed herself, revealing a swarthy skin with wavy silver hair that reached below her waist. Her well-endowed body was intensified as she slowly lifted her face, revealing an appearance that hovered between 30 and even a little older.
Finally, the woman opened her eyes, revealing deep, empty silver eyes.
"Brothers." She finished her sentence, fixing her gaze primarily on Great Red and Ophis, though she took the time to look especially at the latter.
"Trihexa..." Was all Great Red said, bringing the Dragon Goddess' attention back to him. Though that didn't last long, as her gaze focused on Issei, showing great interest.
"And you I don't know." Trihexa appeared in front of Issei in just a second, causing Great Red and Ophis to visibly tense up.
"My name is Hyoudou Issei, it's a pleasure!" Issei exclaimed as he dematerialized his helmet, flashing his goofy grin as was usual for him as he bowed his hand in greeting.
The woman studied him with her eyes as she walked around him, until she took his hand with both hands and brought it to her face to sniff it with some interest. An interest that was triggered the moment she noticed something rather curious.
"Are you a dragon?" More of a statement than a question, but Issei had no trouble answering him.
"That's right, though it's a long story." Issei stated with a nervous smile as he watched the woman act.
Trihexa continued to sniff his hand for a few seconds until she let him go, because apparently she had already found the answer she was looking for. The dragoness approached him and placed a hand on his chest, making Issei even more nervous as well as confused.
"Is this woman seriously looking to end the world? I don't think that's the attitude of someone who wants to destroy absolutely everything." Issei thought to himself, only to sketch a faint smile.
"I see, so a dragon..." Trihexa nodded to herself, then sketched a cute smile. "In that case, I must first take care of the outstanding accounts. You just have to wait for your turn."
Issei's expression changed dramatically as he watched her with great confusion.
"Huh?"
Before he could say anything else, the brown-haired man was sent hurtling towards the ground by a powerful magical attack that was released from the hand on his chest. It took no more than a second to impact the ground, generating great destruction to the surroundings, along with a huge curtain of dust.
"You're still maintaining your peculiar way of being, even though you're crazy." Great Red's comment made the woman focus her gaze on him, opting for a cute smile.
"I'm not crazy, I'm just angry." Trihexa's smile changed to a slightly more serious look after saying that. "You destroyed everything I loved." After saying those words, her expression changed even more, to the point of looking angry. "And not content with that..."
An expression of complete anger shot across her face, warping her beautiful features to the point of looking like a monster.
"YOU LOCKED ME IN HERE FOR A THOUSAND YEARS!"
"We locked you in here because you wanted to destroy everything, and you know very well we didn't do anything...!" Ophis exclaimed with wide eyes.
"Shut your mouth, you fucking senseless scum!" Trihexa's very hurtful shout caused her ex-friend to fall completely silent.
"Now! Now..." A grim smile graced Trihexa's lips as she raised her hand with the intention of finishing them both off.
"The time has finally come for you all to disappear, just like that damned God who locked me in this place."
Just before she could say or do anything else, a dark flash appeared out of nowhere, delivering a direct hit that sent her flying. Ophis and Great Red raised their gazes, seeing as it was Issei, who was dragging the Dragon Goddess down with a hard punch to her abdomen.
A small gust of final wind came between the two just as Trihexa stepped back a bit. The woman's eyes were quite wide, and no wonder, as there was a small trickle of blood coming from her mouth.
"You're good at punching, at least when it comes to treacherous blows..." Trihexa stated with a slight smile as she wiped the blood from her lips.
"I don't think you're in the right to say something like that." Issei replied to her as he remained folded in his arms.
"Still..." Trihexa looked down at her hand, noticing the blood that had left her body. "You really surprised me." The Goddess refocused her gaze on him, her smile accompanying it as well. "If I had to deduce it, I think you're no ordinary dragon."
"You're right!" Issei exclaimed as he broke his stance, placing a hand on the hilt of his katana. "I'm a Dragon God too, though I'm fairly new to all this." Trihexa's eyes furrowed for a short second at what she heard, though her smile soon returned to her face.
"You may be a Dragon God, but let me tell you something..." Trihexa's smile began to widen dangerously. "If that's all you've got, you'll never be able to hurt me again!" She exclaimed with elation as she materialized a magic sword in one of her hands.
"As Great Red said, mind control affects her in many ways. But she still retains certain actions and character of how she was before." A slight smile appeared on his face after thinking that. "Anyway, I don't think she's so carried away by her power, since it's because of that overconfidence and hunger for fun that she ended up being captured." Issei's smile changed to a serious look as various memories of certain very precious people flashed through his mind.
"But I didn't come here to play with you..."
The silver magic circles began to glow with great intensity once again, something that visibly tensed Great Red and Ophis.
"Destroy the magic circles, I'll take care of the protection!" The Dragon God instructed, creating various barriers around his companion.
"Understood, Red."" Ophis complied with the orders smoothly as she opened her muzzle, beginning to create a huge sphere of energy at the same time as a large number of silver magical attacks shot everywhere.
Issei unsheathed his katana and ducked his body to dodge various magical attacks, then raised the weapon into the air. Trihexa's magic sword crashed with great force on the katana, generating a large shockwave that forced her to roll over herself to park several meters behind him. Even so, she didn't seem to flinch, so she resumed her lunges instantly, forcing Issei to turn around and the first thing he did was to deflect some silver attacks to then block and counter each lunge and slash without much difficulty.
Seeing that Issei was keeping up with her smoothly, the woman's smile appeared on her face as she used both of her hands for the next onslaught. Issei's eyes narrowed and his teeth clenched a bit as he used the full force of his arm to counter the blow, generating a large shockwave that cut all the hills nearby in half. Trihexa was thrown backwards by the inertia of the impact, watching in amazement as Issei was apparently caught by two of her magical attacks, generating an explosion as they collided.
But she wasn't impressed by that...
"He was able to hold back my strongest blow in this form with only one arm?" The woman thought in genuine amazement, watching intently as the smokescreen slowly disappeared.
Her eyes widened slightly as she noticed that there wasn't even a figure in the smoke. Unfortunately for her, she had realized too late that Issei had dodged the attack.
Trihexa's eyes finished widening as she felt someone pull her hair from behind her back. She could barely see a blur of Issei's figure, and it wasn't because he moved, she was actually the one who moved.
After all, Issei used her hair as a sort of elastic and sent her flying to the ground, creating a giant crater on the spot.
Trihexa emerged on her knees amidst the dust and debris, sporting a completely bewildered look.
"How is it that you possess so much strength?" the woman wondered in utter amazement, then focused her gaze on Issei once again, who was folding his arms as he watched her with a smile.
At that moment, the first completely annoyed expression came across her face.
"HOW?!"
The shout caused Issei to look at her in confusion, only to materialize his helmet instantly as he noticed how the woman disappeared from her previous position, generating great destruction behind her from the colossal power she used in the leap.
Issei would have to admit that he was a bit impressed, as Great Red had shown him his top speed in the contained form many times, and he could assure that she was at least twice as fast.
Still, that was far from surpassing him.
"PRAFFFFF!"
The loud impact shook the entire small planet as if a meteorite had hit.
Issei had his fist extended forward, and right in front of him was Trihexa, who had her eyes rolled back, her cheek badly bruised and a decent amount of blood spurting from her mouth after taking such a shattering and sudden punch.
That image didn't last but a second, as a large shockwave came through much of the central area of the fight as Trihexa was sent hurtling towards the ground, spinning around on herself at a tremendous speed from the very forceful blow she had taken to her face.
"Red told me you were faster and stronger than him, but the difference surprised me a bit." Issei stated as he raised his arm, then clenched it into a strong fist.
Trihexa stepped out of the rubble. The woman spat blood and focused her gaze in disbelief at Issei, especially at that coarse magical energy that was beginning to surround his arm.
"What do you say we speed up the action a bit?" Issei asked with a somewhat feral grin, though he obviously wasn't expecting an answer from the woman.
Trihexa gritted her teeth angrily and was quick to launch herself at Issei again.
"I won't let you finish that attack!" The woman exclaimed as she appeared in front of him, trying to cut him in half with a magic sword, but Issei showed great display of his superiority when he dodged her just in time, only to give her a strong punch in the belly that made her vomit a large amount of blood, and again she was sent to the ground.
This time, Issei did not have the intentions of waiting for her, so he quickly followed her at a gradual speed. The protagonist was forced to create a barrier when several very powerful magical attacks were directed at him. Trihexa could do nothing but widen her eyes in shock as she watched each magical attack being melted upon contact with the barrier.
"What the hell is that power?! I've never seen anything like it before!" Thought the Dragon Goddess very irritated, watching Issei getting closer and closer without her being able to do anything about it.
Right at the last moment of the trajectory, Issei squeezed the arm hard, causing the purple energy to transform into a dark one. That wasn't the only thing that changed, as his face stiffened in the extreme as he flexed his arm back as far as possible.
"I have to move...!" Trihexa thought in alarm, moving at a great speed.
Still, Issei had other plans, as in his opinion it didn't need to be a direct hit either.
And then, just before it hit the ground it could be heard...
"SEPULTURE OF ICEEEEE!"
The shattering force combined with the devastating magic, generating two layers of unstable dark rings around Issei, causing everyone eyes of everyone else to widen beyond belief.
"Ophis...!" Great Red could barely get a word out as the two of them focused a lot of magic to create powerful barriers.
The unstable rings became a large sphere that burst into a gigantic explosion, devouring the figure of Issei and Trihexa within it. The explosion was as gigantic as a nuclear bomb, generating several rings of air that shattered all the remaining silver magic circles. The shockwave and blast radius was so massive that it reached Great Red and Ophis. The barriers they had built cracked a bit just from the blizzard, causing the Dragon Goddess to spin around on herself the moment she was forced back by the great force that had been exerted upon her. They both watched in disbelief as debris kept falling from the sky, as the area where the explosion originated now appeared to be nothing more than red-hot charred rock, plus it was a gigantic crater that was completely slabby.
"Where's Issei?" Ophis carried her head from side to side, noticing that both Issei and Trihexa had momentarily disappeared.
"I don't know, but..." Before Great Red could speak further, they both watched to their right with slightly widened eyes as a large amount of debris and dust emerged in seas.
The reason was simple to decipher.
"RRRROOOOOOARRGGGGHH!"
But if you're not smart enough, that huge roar made everything clear.
"He forced her to use her true form so fast..." Great Red commented with slight surprise, watching as a huge dragoness as big as him in her true form lay on her feet roaring furiously.
Though unlike Great Red, Trihexa had a humanoid form just like Tannin, so she was supported by only two legs. Another curious thing was that her body was completely silver with golden lines.
Trihexa slowly lowered her face and focused her gaze on them. The dragon slowly opened her mouth, starting to create a large sphere that kept growing at an enormous speed, generating a strange sound around it because of the magical power it contained.
"Well..." Great Red couldn't help but grit his teeth at what was transpiring. "She will most likely want to flush Issei out of hiding, but by all means let's prepare for any kind of impact." Great Red declared as he spread his wings, moving a little away from Ophis.
"So that's what we're playing at, huh...?" A voice was heard in the center of the crater chuckling. "You're looking to attack them to get my attention..." Issei's smile instantly decayed as an annoyed expression graced his lips. "You know something...?" He whispered to himself as his body began to glow brightly.
"I don't like my comrades being used as tallow to lure me in."
Ophis and Great Red lowered their gaze as a great aura shook the entire place. Their faces slowly lifted in slight surprise as they watched as Issei took a large leap, though what stood out most about his figure was the armor, as it was glowing a very strong dark color.
Trihexa brought her mouth to the new target at the same instant she was able to catch it with her gaze, and that simple gesture made the magic sphere start to grow much faster, to the point of being as big as her face.
"It's time to get serious!" Issei exclaimed with a big smile as his armor began to change, slowly transforming into a large dragon, though it was still very small in comparison to Trihexa.
"Planning to make a direct hit?" Great Red thought aloud as he watched the dark dragon stand over Trihexa several meters away.
"What?" Ophis' eyes reflected great concern knowing that attempting a direct hit against such a monstrous attack was not a good idea.
"DRAGON SHOT!"
Trihexa shouted loudly as the huge sphere was shot straight towards Issei, causing the brown-haired man to be caught inside the powerful attack.
"AAAGHHH!" Issei growled as he clenched his teeth tightly, causing his body to glow even more as he began to descend at a great speed, going against the huge powerful magical blast that was slowly cracking his scales.
Three magic circles appeared above Trihexa, and the dark dragon soon impacted heavily against the first one. That simple fact created one impact wave after another, generating an unparalleled play of lights and explosions. But it wasn't over there, and Trihexa took notice when her eyes widened slightly as she saw how her first barrier was beginning to crack at a great speed.
"ISSEEEEIIIIII, NOOOOOOO!" Ophis' voice was torn with great desperation and helplessness, knowing that the outcome of this could be very negative.
"AAAAARRRRRGGHHHHHH AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Issei screamed with great force, feeling his body was cracking and charring.
The first barrier broke, and when it did, the second gave way almost instantly. The impact against the third and final one was not long in coming, but this time it did not break immediately. Issei's teeth clenched as tightly as possible, and a new flash of dazzling dark energy appeared within the most powerful Dragon Shot yet seen.
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Issei gave one last scream at the top of his lungs, feeling like much of his body was already completely burned.
Trihexa's eyes widened in complete disbelief as her last armor was destroyed, and at that moment everything became much slower.
"How can you...?"
Her face reflected nothing but disbelief as she watched Issei's figure land in front of her, even as he was being consumed by her Dragon Shot.
"HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!"
A huge grin emerged from the dark dragon as he finally came within an inch of crashing into the dragoness' head.
"EAT THIIISSS!"
A strong light blinded the whole place completely once Issei's words were heard, generating a thunderous sound of impact that was barely registered by the ears of everyone present.
Great Red didn't hesitate even for a second and transformed practically instantly, placing himself in front of Ophis at the same time that they both created a large amount of barriers. That was of little use anyway, as they were swept away by the catastrophic explosion.
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" both Great Red and Ophis screamed as all their barriers were destroyed in no time, being absorbed by the strong light that didn't allow them to see anything.
That light got progressively bigger until it covered the small planet completely.
END OF THE CHAPTER!
Actually, there is still a short scene below. In fact, it will most likely leave you wondering how it all ended, as the next chapter will take place outside the prison.
As Fanfiction doesn't work very well, you can follow me on patre-on where I always announce the entry of new updates and any important notice. If you're interested in that, look for me as Jyanzein on Patre-on.
I hope you enjoyed the chapter, and now I'll leave you with the final scene.
Thank you very much for reading!
Oblivious to what was happening in the other reality, the entire army defending freedom was calm, quite calm.
In fact, it was a tranquility that was beginning to worry many.
The only ones who were probably not relaxed were those in charge of keeping the apocalyptic battle away from them, as they were very focused on maintaining stability in the seals.
"How do you think they're doing?" Azazel asked, perching next to Penemue, who was looking off into the horizon.
"It was only a few seconds that the breach shook, it wasn't from a clear instability. It was most likely a very strong power clash. I'm sure they're fine." Cadre replied confidently.
"I don't think we need to worry about the boss, he's sure to be back soon." Gasper clenched his fist confidently, earning a slight smile from both Fallen Angels.
Before they could continue their conversation, Kuroka tapped Penemue's shoulder, drawing her attention.
Her completely serious look made it obvious that the break was over.
"They're already here." The Nekomata warned, then watched the horizon very carefully.
"Alright, I guess this horn isn't going to rust anymore." Göndul commented as a little joke to calm the heavy atmosphere that had been created, though it evidently didn't work.
Rossweisse's grandmother exhaled all the air inside that horn, and a rather unique sound was heard throughout the area.
All the soldiers who were either talking or relaxing immediately stood up and made a quick formation in circles, perfectly surrounding those who were in charge of keeping the seals alive.
It wasn't long before a large barrier spread across the area, making sure that no one could escape.
Penemue took several steps forward and waited in complete silence.
She waited and waited, until figures began to loom on the horizon.
The Cadre placed both hands on her waist, then frowned.
"Get ready."
