Campaign Against Yuan Shu Part 1
So it was the Sun army began to form their ranks, while trusting the others to do this, Sun Ce went with his brother and sister to the prearranged meeting place, Upon arriving they found that Cao-Cao and Liu Bei were already present.
"Ah, Sun Ce, you've arrived, excellent." Cao-Cao greeted him. "Yuan Shu's decision to betray the Han Empire will mark his end, I am relying on Liu Bei to make his way from Xu Province while I will lead my troops from Yu Province. If you can lead your troops up the Changjiang we'll be able to surround Yuan Shu."
"It won't be easy, we still need to sort out our supplies." Sun Ce explained. "But as soon as we do, we'll march. We can't discount the possibility of Yuan Shu preparing for us, he'll have his forces out to defend every last inch of land he has claimed."
Liu Bei nodded. "Yes, nevertheless, we cannot give up, he is not only betraying the Han but oppressing the people under his rule, he needs to be brought to justice before he causes more harm to the innocent."
"Protecting the innocent, huh?" Shangxiang remarked with a small smile as she looked to Liu Bei.
Liu Bei nodded, also smiling but Cao-Cao interrupted.
"Your resolve to save the people is admirable, Liu Bei." He remarked. "But we have to be realistic, we cannot save everyone. Now, everyone return to your armies and prepare to begin, we must start our march against Yuan Shu at once."
They all bowed and went their separate ways, heading back to their armies to do just that.

Unfortunately the Sun army wasn't off to a good start.
"Word has it that Liu Bei and Cao-Cao have begun their advance, their forces have gathered sufficient strength." Zhou Yu explained with a bow. "We cannot fall behind."
Sun Ce grunted. "I know, but we're still facing problems, we were supposed to receive supplies from Kuaiji, but they've not arrived yet."
Zhou Yu sighed, realizing Sun Ce was right. They watched as Cheng Pu oversaw the preparation of their ships, but without supplies, they'd be at a disadvantage upon marching. Listening in on this, Daqiao sighed sadly. 'Oh Sun Ce...I can't just stand around and wait, I have to do something. Kuaiji he said, then I know what direction to look.'
With that she slipped away and began to seek out her weapons only to find, to her surprise, Sun Shangxiang and Lianshi already prepared with their own weapons.
"Wh-what…?" She gasped.
They turned to see her and Shangxiang spoke up. "Oh Daqiao, I guess you're feeling the same way? Lianshi and I are worried about the supply problem, we were gonna go scout it out."
"The Princess was quite insistent on doing this to help our army." Lianshi explained casually. "So naturally I decided to come along and make sure she's safe."
"I can handle myself Lianshi."
"Maybe so." Lianshi remarked. "But that is my duty and I gladly do it."
Daqiao was a little surprised by this, but relaxed, relieved she wasn't having to do this alone.
That was when another unexpected incident happened.
"Hey, what's the big idea sis." A familiar voice burst out. "You can't just go along and do something like this without me."
They all turned to see that, sure enough, Xiaoqiao was there, pouting.
"Xiaoqiao, I couldn't…" She began, stammering. "We...this is dangerous and we…"
Xiaoqiao shook her head. "So, we'll be working together, it'll be safe."
They all knew right away there was no arguing with Xiaoqiao when she was in this mood. So they conceded and gathered their weapons and horses and rode out in the direction of Kuaiji, keeping their eyes open.
"What do you think?" Shangxiang asked. "How could our supplies be so delayed."
Daqiao shook her head. "I'm afraid it'll be the worst possible outcome, that the supply train has been attacked."
The others were quiet, worried that she was right, but they still held on to hope. Even if the supply train had been attacked, they hoped they could find and reclaim the supplies and send them to the Sun Army right away and reverse the damage done to their morale. Things became even more concerning for them as they rode further and further away from their home base while the sun was beginning to set.
It was just as the sun had almost completely set that Xiaoqiao noticed something.
"Hey look, over there, the Pandas." She called out.
They followed her pointing and saw the mammals making their way across the path, running.
"Xiaoqiao, we're supposed to-" Daqiao began to chastise her sister.
But Lianshi understood. "No, she's right, we should go in the direction they came from. Something spooked them."
The others realized it too and they readied their weapons and rode off in that direction and it wasn't long before they found their supply train, thankfully untouched yet, but surrounded by bandits.
"Ha, good haul we got here." One was saying.
Another laughed. "Yeah, this'll be perfect, those fools thought they could just walk right through here."
"That's far enough!" Shangxiang cried out.
The bandits turned in shock before seeing who was standing against them.
"Oh, what have we here, you ladies come to give us even more fun, you do realize that this-"
But he never got the chance to finish his boast or crass statement, for Shangxiang rode forward straight away and immediately cut him down with her chakrams. The bandits cried out but without any hesitation, the other three women joined her, the Qiao sisters armed with twin fans and Lianshi with Mandarin Duck Hooks, the bandits were caught off guard and had been overconfident. They were paying for it now as they were swiftly cut down before they could truly react. Finally, with much delight, the ladies had defeated the bandits and secured the supplies, they quickly got to work fixing up the transports and began working on getting them to their army.

"I can't believe you risked yourselves like that." Sun Quan grumbled.
Zhou Yu shook his head. "To be fair, we should have anticipated it, can you blame Lady Shangxiang for her Tiger's blood, and Xiaoqiao and Daqiao are married to myself and Sun Ce, that has to have rubbed off on them."
Sun Quan grumbled. "True but still, Lianshi…"
Lianshi smiled lightly. "I was given a duty to protect the Princess, I simply choose to fulfil the best way possible. It has helped us all, right?"
"She's right." Sun Ce explained with a laugh. "We have our supplies and we're ready to advance, the ships are prepared, alright spread the word, we're about to begin to attack."
With that word did indeed spread and they cheered and soon they disembarked, ready to begin their part in the campaign against Yuan Shu.
