I don't own Naruto or any of its characters, I'm just a fan I enjoyed the anime but I love the fanfics, even more, they made me fall for the whole franchise. Whether I will have Oc's in the fic or not depends entirely on how the story goes.
Chapter 19
"Are you okay dear? You haven't touched your dinner since I served you." Ino let out a small unlady-like snort and rolled her eyes at her mother's 100th inquiry on her well-being.
"I'm fine mom, I'm just not hungry." Ino answered while playing with her food moving it around with her chopsticks.
"Did Naruto-kun do something wrong, if he did you can tell me, Hunny?" Her mother tried again and Ino looked up at the woman. Seeing her worried expression she sighed placing her chopsticks down and facing the woman.
"Golden boy didn't do anything mom I think I just miss him, ever since we both became genin we don't get to spend time together." Ino explained and her mother frowned at the thought of her daughter struggling, she remembered how she over-worried about Inoichi when she was younger.
"Ohh sweetie, the life of a ninja is a busy one, especially for genins taking missions and training but I'm sure after your chunin you'll have more free time." Ino understood the logic her mother made but she didn't want to accept it and so didn't accept it.
"W-what if by that time he doesn't like me anymore what if he falls for another girl and what if he leaves me, mom?" Ino finally got to the real reason she was stressed. She loved Naruto but he had never said those words to her, she wanted to give it time spend time with him and have him fall for her.
"Well, there's only one thing you can do that will help." Ino looked at her mother to continue, if she had helpful advice she would take them and hug the woman until she popped a blood vessel, but if she was trolling her she would strangle the woman consequences be damned.
"You talk to him, Wait!!" Ino stopped mid-way from jumping over the table and strangling her mother, as the woman put her hands up. "Let me finish." The older woman said and Ino sat back down glaring at her mother who chuckled nervously.
"Whenever you both have the time to talk ask him about his day, about his training, and his goals and ambitions, offer him your help even if it's to just go jogging in the morning before he or you have to meet your teams make time for each other and tell him how you wish to spend more time with him." At the end of her mother's words, Ino sat there and contemplated as her mother continued eating.
"Thanks, mom for the advice, I think I can do that your the best I love you." Ino finally decided as she thanked her mom and began thinking about how she would go around starting that conversation.
"You should eat Ino-Chan boys like Naruto like girls with a little more meat in their bodies you know wider hips, bigger backsides, and bigger breasts." Ino's eyes widened as a blush crept up her face the more her mother teased.
Ino looked down at her chest and thought about that time she saw Hinata naked when she took the girl to the bathhouse then she thought about how Hinata inhales those cinnamon rolls like a vacuum and she could eat more ramen than Naruto, he worships the floor she walks on after a trip to Ichiraku's Ramen.
"Your right!" Ino exclaimed and her mother gaped at her daughter.
"I am?" She asked bewildered, she couldn't even get an answer because Ino was scuffing down her food like a returning champ in an eating competition.
"Mmh Mmh mmh," Ino spoke and the woman wondered what devil she just awoke.

With the sun shining and birds tweeting team 7 stood at attention, In front of them stood Itachi-sensei and a clone of himself. Standing a bit further away was Tazuna with a bag wrapped around his back.
"Since we are in a country surrounded by a body of water it would only be fitting you learned water walking." Itachi explained to his genin.
"What is the clone for Itachi-sensei?" Sasuke asked Itachi, the older Uchiha looked over at his clone and nodded before he walked over to Tazuna the bridge builder, and they left.
"I will be the one training you all while the original guards Tazuna-San." The clone explained. "Any questions?" At the shake of the head from the genins he nodded.
"Naruto-Kun, you stay here and practice tree walking until you can get up the tree without slipping or blowing yourself away." Naruto balled his fists feeling disappointed in himself.
"Don't feel bad Naruto-Kun, it's only natural you would take longer to master water walking due to your chakra reserves being so large." Itachi's clone told the blonde as he walked past his team.
"Sasuke-Kun, Hinata-Chan, follow me." At the clone's beckoning the two genins turned and walked off. Naruto looked over at Hinata as Sasuke offered her a hand but she just grabbed onto his t-shirt from behind.
'I'll have this done in no time.' Naruto thought with determination as he bent down to a sprinter starting position and dashed straight for the tree. 'For Hinata.' He got twenty steps up the tree before blowing off the tree, he grits his teeth in frustration as he flipped and landed on his feet.
"Again!" Naruto hyped himself up and dashed off once more.

After the Uchiha clone had explained to them the inner workings of water walking, and in Sasuke's case showed him the outta workings of the technique, the clone had left the two genin to do their thing.
Sasuke watched Hinata closely with his Sharingan active as she placed a foot on the surface of the water, seeing the chakra form on the soles of her feet as she adjusted and fine-tuned it before putting weight on that foot and bringing her other foot up placing the same amount of chakra before placing it down.
"Good work Hinata-Chan." Sasuke congratulated her with a smile as the girl stood on the surface of the water her chakra was stable but changed with the flow of the water.
"Thank you Sasuke-Kun." Hinata said softly then began taking baby steps trying to reach the other side of the lake, because of her juuken training Hinata had to be very precise with her chakra control and after learning tree walking which helped her learn how to regulate her chakra and keep a constant flow, water walking came easier.
Behind her she could hear Sasuke dropping every other second step or even on the first step, Hinata felt her feet touch land meaning she had reached the other side, taking a deep breath she began her miracle trek across the water's surface back from whence she came.
"You got it in one try, your incredible Hinata-Chan." Sasuke praised as he approached the girl, he was drenched from head to toe and his duck hairstyle was now gone. If any other girl was there let's say Sakura for instance they would die happily with no regrets to see Sasuke like that.
Alas, there was no girl like that around and the one that was around just so happened to be blind so all Sasuke got was shivers as the morning breeze passed his drenched form.
"You will have it done in no time yourself." Hinata told the Uchiha and Sasuke smiled at the girl's faith in him as he smirked.
"I can't believe Naruto is taking so long to get tree walking it's actually shameful, I'm just glad Itachi-Sensei isn't letting him hold us back." Sasuke told Hinata, this was the first time they were alone in a while, and seeing the scenery in front of them Sasuke felt like this was the perfect time to make his move.
But first, he had to show the girl that Naruto was all talk and there was nothing he could offer her, he was an orphan and although Sasuke felt bad for the guy, there wasn't much he could offer a girl from the Hyuga clan who just so happened to be the heiress.
She was skilled enough to always beat them both in a sparing match, but Naruto was so behind her in skills that he couldn't even be called a challenge, while Sasuke got closer and closer to her level by the day, and when his Sharingan matures fully he would be her equal or even superior.
"Please don't talk about our teammate behind his back." Hinata told Sasuke and turned around ready to try her exercise again but Sasuke grabbed her hand now frustrated.
"I'm just stating facts! we both know it's true maybe he was strong before but we were kids back then, now we're playing in the big leagues and it's obvious he isn't meant for it but you and I are Hinata-Chan we are strong." Sasuke told the object of his affections, he had raised his voice at the start but had reined in the outburst before it could escalate.
"Naruto-Kun is not weak." Hinata said with anger as she yanked her hand out of Sasuke's grasp the Uchiha boy bared his teeth as he grabbed her hand again stopping her from leaving.
"There's nothing he can offer you Hinata!" Sasuke screamed at the girl in frustration.
'Why doesn't she see me, why doesn't she see I'd be good for her? the dobe is only going to hold her back.' Sasuke thought.
"He offered me everything!" Hinata screamed back now angry as well.
"Ohh yeah like what? his friendship!" Sasuke screamed back then he realized that approach wasn't gonna get him anywhere so he took a deep breath to calm himself.
"I want to be your friend too Hinata-Chan, I want to make you smile, laugh, giggle, watch you eat cinnamon rolls and what I'm trying to say is I-I like you Hinata-Chan a lot." Sasuke took a hand and placed it on Hinata's cheek shocking the girl as he moved forward to kiss her.
"Hey guys, guys I did it, I did…….." Sasuke immediately turned around to look at Naruto in shock his hand still on Hinata's cheek, Hinata had shock written all over her face she hadn't been paying attention so she didn't notice his chakra signature approaching.
she felt such unimaginable sorrow go through Naruto that she was shocked such an emotion could come from him and in that sorrow she felt all kinds of negative emotions. Anger, hate, sadness, betrayal, and envy all those emotions flooded him in such quick succession she heard him physically choke on them.
"oh hahaha." A hollow laugh came out of Naruto his heart felt like it was in someone's grasp and that person was doing a grip test.
"I I I I ." Naruto turned around and ran he heard Hinata call out to him but he didn't stop she chased after him but he outran her by miles not knowing he had tapped into the Kyuubi's chakra, in seconds the boy had crossed so much distance he was out of Hinata,s sensory range.
"Naruto-Kun!!!" Hinata called out as she continued running after him blind to his whereabouts and it wasn't long before she tripped on a tree root. She quickly righted herself and landed on her feet, breathing raggedly she was scared for her friend the heartbreak she felt coming from him was unimaginable.
"Naruto-Kun, Naruto, Naruto, NARUTOOOOOO!" Hinata called out for him getting no answer in return.
"Hinata-Chan, calm down." Sasuke said as he finally caught up to the blind girl, Hinata looked over to Sasuke and in the blink of an eye, she was in front of him.
"Please find him, please." Hinata begged the Uchiha she was breathing hard and had tears in her eyes, which looked panicked and afraid.
"Calm down Hinata-Chan, I'm sure he will return when he calms down I don't even know why he's mad." Sasuke scoffed and Hinata saw red not literally, figuratively and Sasuke got slapped hard.
"What happened here!" Itachi's clone came down from a tree at that moment it had sensed a spike of the Kyuubi's chakra and although he was a child when the tailed beast attacked the stench of that chakra would forever remain with him until his dying day.
"It's Naruto-Kun he ran away please sensei please find him his not okay." Hinata ran to Itachi and repeated her request Sasuke was wide-eyed with a hand on his cheek which stung and felt warm to the touch.
"I will go check for him, you two return to Tazuna's place, no Hinata if you come along you will slow me down I can cover more ground on my own." With that said the clone darted off into the woods using its creator's tracking skills learned under Shisui to track down Naruto.
"Hinata-Chan, I …" Sasuke stopped talking at Hinata's glare.
"Don't say a word." Hinata warned and Sasuke wasn't sure if he was seeing things or not but he noticed her eyes get darker almost pitch black and some veins pop out. It was like one moment it was there and the next it wasn't he shook his head and decided it was just the ringing in his ears making him delusional.

"Aggghh" Naruto threw a right hook at a tree and the force of his strike uprooted the whole thing sending it careening at another leaving the tree leaning diagonally.
"Aghhhhh" He screamed again attacking another tree, then another and another not noticing the orange hue of chakra bubbling around his body, it bubbled up and bubbled up then a tail sprouted out.
Naruto's rage spiked with the new feature the chakra had added and he took a mighty leap as he soared more the 60 feet in the air with such force the area that took the force of his jump caved in leaving a crater in his wake. Naruto soared through the air covering so much land he was miles away by the time he landed.
His landing wasn't gentle, it was rougher than his takeoff because when he landed the force that was released from the impact uprooted every tree in a 50-yard radius.
He took a deep breath, to which he immediately felt tired as he wobbled on his feet, not noticing the chakra shroud and tail surrounding him disperse.
Naruto dropped to his back and let the darkness take him not even fighting it.

Tsunami sat with the distraught Hyuga, she had finally stopped crying a few minutes ago. Tsunami held her close as she ran her hand through Hinata's hair soothingly they were sitting in the room Tsunami shared with the only female of the group.
"Are you feeling better?" Tsunami asked Hinata and the girl was honest enough to shake her head no.
"Do you want some water?" She tried again and got the same shake of the head. Tsunami wanted to know what was wrong the girl wouldn't say a word and her raven-haired teammate had gone out the moment the girl had run up to the room.
Tsunami if anything found the girl amazing, her father had told her the way the girl fought and carried herself you would never think she was blind. He only found out a day into their journey, and that was after she had taken down an assassin who tried to kill him.
"Are you sad because of your blonde teammate uh, Naruto-Kun right?" Tsunami asked and Hinata stiffened.
"He seems like a good boy, are you guys close?" She inquired, Hinata was quiet for some time but after a minute she nodded.
"We use to be inseparable." Hinata told the woman. Tsunami nodded as she kept brushing Hinata's hair with her hand the girl had surprisingly soft hair.
"Are you not anymore?" At that question, Hinata seemed to stiffen and her voice broke when she answered.
"I don't know, we argued last night it was a misunderstanding but I was just so disappointed in him that I couldn't just forgive him." Tsunami held the girl tighter as she began sobbing again.
"I could feel he was sorry and confused, he was hurting but he didn't know how to express himself. Naruto is an orphan he never had someone to teach him how to express himself when he's hurting." Hinata explained and Tsunami immediately felt bad for the boy it must have been lonely.
"People mistreated and feared him for things he had no control over but he always tried his best and never gave up. When we entered the academy he was struggling so he asked for help." Hinata chuckled a little remembering that first day of the academy.
"I followed him around the whole day just to see how he could see his faults and not let them control him. I saw him walking alone nobody there for him and I found a kinder spirit, I decided to take a page from his book and ask for help. I knocked on his door and I fainted." Tsunami gasped and Hinata laughed, she was still sad but the memory she cherished could always bring a smile to her face.
"You fainted?" Tsunami asked scandalously and Hinata blushed.
"I was different back then, timid, afraid, depressed, and suicidal." Hinata admitted with a sigh and then continued quickly. "But Naruto carried me inside his home and let me sleep away the afternoon in his bed a stranger he never talked to before, when I woke up there was warm food waiting for me."Hinata smiled again.
"Back then I was lacking in self-confidence, my clan saw me as a disappointment and my father did too, my deteriorating eyesight only added to their disappointment in me, I became an outcast in my clan and when I was 5 my father removed me from his house and placed me in a small house in the outskirts of my clan's grounds." Tsunami was crying now as well the story was so sad and she got so angry at the girl's father that she hoped she could meet him one day and break his nose.
"But that day Naruto told me I impressed him, the fact I followed him around without him being the wiser, he wasn't even mad at me, I was so shocked I made him repeat it. It was the first time anyone had ever told me those words, I was so happy Tsunami-San I was so glad that, I found a new lease on life just from those words alone." Hinata cried again and Tsunami was there to cry with her.
"That day he not only told me something I never knew I needed to hear but he made me smile and laugh, he gave me company as I ate and listened to me without ever degrading me. Then he called me his friend saying friends should help each other and to prove that, he asked me a useless individual for help." Tsunami hugged the girl in sadness as she sobbed with her.
"That day the sun rose with me crying wishing I wouldn't wake up to see the next day and yet because of Naruto-Kun that night I watched the sunset with him I wished the day would never end. He walked me home and when I went to sleep I couldn't help but think 'I hope tomorrow comes quicker.' I slept with a smile on my face dreaming of a bright blue sky and a beautiful yellow sun above it." Hinata finished and they stayed quietly in each other's comfort.
"You love him don't you?"Tsunami asked after a moment of quiet and Hinata nodded.
"I see." She simply said as she held the girl. In another hour Hinata was fast asleep and Tsunami tucked her in before leaving the room and walking down to the living room where she found Itachi, Sasuke, and Tazuna no Naruto.
"How is she?" Itachi asked when he saw her come down the stairs, Tsunami sighed and shook her head in the negative as she made her way to the kitchen to warm up the food, she would take some up for Hinata when she went to bed.
"She's sleeping now, she's hurting and I think she blames herself." Tsunami said as she lit the stove. "Did you find him?" Tsunami asked and Itachi shook his head.
"My clone lost his trail, but I'm sure he will be okay just needs time to cool off." He explained and she nodded.
"Dinner will be ready in 15 minutes sorry for making you wait." She apologized and nobody commented.

"INTERESTING VERY INTERESTING INDEED." A deep voice growled out behind giant bars in an unknown location.
Naruto twisted and turned in his slumber as he dreamt.
AN
now, I had a question of why Naruto was not stronger as he could use gravity seals and clones for training the answer is simple the clone training was Kakashi's idea Naruto knows the clones transfer information when dispelled but what can he train with clones let's break it down.
1...Naruto doesn't have any jutsu to train with the shadow clone if he did he would use them to practice.
2...He doesn't know the clones transfer muscle memory because it's not written down on the copy of the scroll of sealing he made.
3...I wanted to use information that was already in the Naruto verse when I started writing this fic with a difference here and there. There are only 3 jutsus confirmed in the scroll of sealing which are the multi-shadow clone jutsus, the seal Minato used to seal the nine-tailed fox, and the impure world reanimation technique.
4... the clone training was a theory Kakashi came up with and even that came after years of seeing Naruto use the technique if Kakashi always knew the clones could do that he wouldn't have let Naruto go on without the knowledge and the memory thing.
Kakashi prolly assumed Naruto always knew because let's be honest the way he spams clones in canon it would be hard to miss the amount of sudden knowledges. Kishimoto just added that little detail of knowledge transfer for the plot since the Sharingan was already an OP tool add that to the strength of each akatski members and Naruto's character had no logical way of getting stronger in such a short time. but it's canon now and I'll use it but not yet I want him to grow into the clone jutsu and all the other techniques he will gain.
as for the gravity seal, Naruto is a genius in fuinjutsu in the way that he can look at a seal and deconstruct it in seconds understanding its every stroke and its purpose, and with that knowledge, he can 'rewire' the seal to suit his plans for it like he did with the storage scroll.
And the seal in Hinata's arm which is just a fancy storage seal.
Right now Naruto only has Konoha-issued fuinjutsu scrolls worse it's genin level so he only has barrier seals available to him.
The seal Naruto used to enter the Hokage office without tripping the alarm is derived from a barrier seal. Do you know how some barriers can pass through solid surfaces? well, he derived the idea from such a barrier reinventing it to instead let him pass through solid surfaces by placing the tag on his person and charging a lot of chakra so his body vibrates fast enough to pass through I hope that answers some questions.
And come on guys Naruto is not weak, I'm trying to be realistic and the Sharingan is a big-ass cheat code... it's literally why Uchiha's are so feared because once activated it's a straight-up power up with no cap.
But wtf Hinata? last chapter you smack Naruto and now you smack Sasuke are the boys being boys and acting dumb so u had to slap some sense in to them ...??? Mwahahahahaha
When I write love , I write love . When I write comedy I right comedy and when I write some sad things better expect some tears dropping on phone screens pm if you cried I'd like to hear your thoughts
Truth is I don't plan out these chapters i know what I want for the story so I just start a chapter with a characters point of view and let it flow you will notice most of my chapters start with a characters thoughts on a situation.
