I don't own Naruto or any of its characters, I'm just a fan I enjoyed the anime but I love the fanfics, even more, they made me fall for the whole franchise. Whether I will have Oc's in the fic or not depends entirely on how the story goes.

Chapter 22

Sakura had a problem that her subconscious was the instigator of, she had no ambitions of her own she was a family individual, and there were no expectations in her for herself except the fact she wanted to have what her mother and father had. What she saw in those two was true love.

"OHOHOHOHOHO, What do you mean I'm not the one for you?" Her dad asked with the happiest smile you would ever see in a man missing a leg.

"I SAID I DON'T THINK WE ARE RIGHT FOR EACH OTHER!." Mebuki Haruno answered the only way she knew how to get her message around to her husband yelling at him as loud as she could.

"Aha ha ha" Sakura laughed a little as she winced at the volume. Then her father did such an exaggerated double take with wide erratic eye movements that emphasized his eyes so her mother couldn't help but notice his green orbs dancing at her soul dreamily, his pink hair doing a Prince Charming head turn with such a handsome smirk Sakura cooed at her dad as her mother jumped on him giving him a big fat kiss on the lips and looked away blushing.

Who would have ever thought Mebuki the loud outspoken spokesperson and leader of the civilian council human rights commission, could blush so pink and look so cute?

"Ohohohoh don't think I'm through with you just yet woman, me and you not work out? What! Preposterous! What is your favorite color woman?" Sakura watched as her father took the argument by its rein and tamed the wild stallion that was her mother.

"You know it's pink." She answered with a glare.

'1, 2, 3' Sakura started counting, and that was as far as she got before her mom came in and hugged her father, her height leaving her head just below his chin and he looked down taking her chin with a finger, Mebuki didn't fight the act as she looked up into his eyes.

"Who has your favorite jewels?" At the question her mother got lost in his green orbs it was like a trance as her hands came up to his shoulders and she got on her toes as she brought their foreheads together looking him deep in the eyes as she whispered.

"You do my love" she stretched her legs just a little more so she could give him a peck in the bridge between his eyes and he smiled.

"I love you too babe." He responded by kissing her forehead, Sakura got a little self-conscious as she thought of her larger forehead, but she remembered Ino's words to her on their first day at the academy.

'You know you should put your French up it will suit you.' Ino had said as she took her red bandanna and tied it on Sakura's hair letting her forehead show.

'There better, doesn't she look cute girls?' Ino asked the other girls, who smiled at Sakura and agreed, making the girl smile and blush harder with Sakura saying a meek thank you in return.

She balled her fist and chanted 'I'm beautiful.' A smile blossomed on her face and she softly closed the door to her parent's room all the while smiling to herself.

Tip-toeing to the room down the hall, she opened the door and snuck into her room closing it gently. behind her.

"I wonder if Kurenai-Sensei will teach me water walking when I show her I can now tree walk?" Sakura asked herself out loud as she smiled happily and walked towards her wall before she commanded her chakra to flow. it circled through her body starting from her naval and Sakura directed the chakra to the soles of her feet.

Placing a foot on her vertical wall she felt it stick then she pushed her chakra control even further trying to insert her dominance over it even further until she would find that perfect place called equilibrium. A few seconds later she felt it and held it there, her chakra stopping so abruptly that it tickled her tenkentsu letting it sing in happiness. Perfection she had found it.

Sakura wasn't just using chakra to 'stick' on the wall she subconsciously programmed her chakra to see that wall as her new horizontal surface and it did, Sakura never had a way to compare her chakra walk with the rest of the elemental nations otherwise people would call her a once in a generation genius.

Her chakra control was absolute but she did not know it and who could blame her, this was a whole new territory that hadn't even been theorized before and yet it was in the hands of a 12-year-old girl who could subconsciously achieve absolute control of chakra and yet not know the theory exited.

Sakura walked on the wall and reached the sealing she began walking upside down but her body never felt the change in surface angle. reaching and facing her parallel wall. There lay a poster of Sasuke Uchiha it was one of those special days he and his brother went out to eat Dango he was facing straight ahead with a smirk.

The image was edited of course with Itachi being cropped out and the image enhanced with the added features of the background being changed to a Sakura tree with pink petals flowing around the image.

"He did never tell me his name" Sakura muttered wondering about a pale boy she had met in the academy in her second year, he had bumped into her and to apologize he said he would draw her, her most precious thing.

When she asked him how he would do that he didn't even know her, he said he would one day be Anbu, Hokage guard platoon so he would use his Anbu skills to find out more about her.

'I wish I got his name at least.' Sakura thought a bit sadly as she remembered 4 months later he brought her a scroll smiling widely as he was covered in different paint colors and grim. He told her to open it in her room saying he would ask her critics the next day.

Sakura locked eyes with the portrait In front of her in her point of view it was the portrait that was upside down.

'I love you Sasuke Uchiha.' Sakura thought dreamily before she released her chakra and flipped landing on her feet and running to her stool jumping on it and sitting down turning to her mirror she began doing her hair trying to find the perfect one for Sasuke.

'I wonder what he is doing now?' Sakura thought but then frowned when she remembered Hinata was there as well.

"Fuck you duckass!" Naruto grounded out as he and Sasuke squared off.

"Your weak dobe all you are and will forever be is a mosquito with a loud buzz." Sasuke retorted his frown prominent.

"You think you've accomplished something teme?" Naruto asked Sasuke in anger. "Your nothing special, you think you got those eyes of yours through hard work haha" Naruto mocked with a short-lived laugh. "It's genetics Mac Duckass. A hand me down from parent to child so don't be too proud of yourself because someday someone will pluck them out of your dead corps and place them In a jar as a trophy." Naruto scoffed at what he could only describe as a literal fool in human skin.

"You wanna take this outside?" Sasuke grounded out and Naruto scoffed bringing his face very close to Sasuke's

"I don't think so quack." Sasuke saw red and his eyes flash that color for a second.

"Stop it, the both of you." Itachi commanded and the two boys glared at each other, after a second Naruto stepped away from Sasuke giving the Uchiha a dirty look.

"I'm going up to Hinata.-Chan" Naruto said but barely took a step to turn before Sasuke taunted.

"Go hide behind your friend, luckily she pities you or she would tell you in your face how weak you are." At that Naruto dashed at Sasuke with anger on his face, Sasuke smirked he was gonna put the blonde down once and for all, and his Sharingan blazed into existence singing in glory and blood lust.

"I said that's enough!" Itachi grabbed Naruto by the scruff of his shirt and shoved him back towards the staircase, turning to Sasuke, Itachi's own eyes changed into the infamous three-tome Sharingan as he stared down Sasuke, anger clear in his eyes but mostly disappointment.

Sasuke held his ground for less than a second before deactivating his eyes and closing them, but even with his eyes closed his Sharingan had already memorized that look on Itachi's face the anger and disappointment so very clear in his mind.

"We are on a mission, attempt to behave like the professionals you are meant to be, did all those D-ranks teach you nothing about self-control and patients?" Itachi asked Sasuke and the boy balled his fist but didn't answer.

"I thought you were more mature than this Naruto-Kun, but I see your emotions are what rule you, Hinata was worried about you yesterday she cried herself to sleep because you ran away." Itachi said turning to Naruto who looked down in shame.

"Sorry." Naruto apologized softly before walking up the stairs to the room Hinata and Tsunami shared hoping to see his best friend.

"Sasuke-Kun, what is the Sharingan to you?" Itachi asked Sasuke and the boy grit his teeth at the random question.

'The Sharingan is power, it is the key to the Uchiha's power, it is our gift to show the rest of the elemental nations our supremacy, it is our strength and power' Sasuke's mind provided with conviction but he knew Itachi wouldn't like the answer so he swallowed those words and recited Itachi's views on their dojutsu.

"The Sharingan is only a tool, it should not be relied on too heavily. it is only as strong as the body and minds wielding it." Itachi looked at Sasuke closely as he spoke, there was something there the boy was doing a very good job of hiding.

"Good, remember those words Sasuke, many Uchihas have lost their lives believing otherwise." Itachi told his younger brother before he sighed and wondered what he could do to help his genin.

The problem was obvious, but the solution was not something that could be found in Itachi's skill set. "Tomorrow you are coming with me to guard Tazuna-San," Itachi told Sasuke as he walked off to the living room where Tazuna and his grandson Inari were having dinner.

He heard the front door to the house open and with a bang it was closed. It could only mean Sasuke went outside to get some fresh air or take his anger out on some innocent woodland.

"Are those boys okay?" Tazuna asked when he saw Itachi enter, the boy next to him upon seeing Itachi scowled.

"They will be fine, they are worried about their teammate and can't seem to find anything to blame but each other." Itachi played off the situation to his client and Tazuna nodded in understanding.

"Would you like to eat something Itachi-Sensei?" Itachi looked over at Tsunami and smiled at the woman as he nodded.

"Just Itachi is fine, Tsunami-San." Itachi told the woman and although she nodded she didn't indicate whether she would take him up on that offer or not.

'Is it my fault Hinata-Chan ended up like this?' Naruto thought in horrific realization, Itachi's words ringing in his ears over and over while he held Hinata's hand gently in his hand, she lay asleep in Tsunami's bed.

"Hey boss, pssst boss." Naruto looked over at the window to find his clone standing behind the glass. The clone was looking at Hinata's prone body with confusion. Naruto stood from his kneeling position on the bedside and walked over to the window cracking it open for his clone.

"I got something." The clone told its creator before pulling out scrolls and asking the original to hand him a copy scroll which he did. '2' took the copy scroll and placed his copy scroll inside copying its details into a scroll that wouldn't disappear with his dispelling.

'2' then unsealed everything he got from Gatō making the eyes of the original widen at all the books, scrolls, and dockets, especially the safe.

"I'll explain everything in a second." The clone said before saluting and dispelling, the chakra that made up '2' split in half and moved at a speed above anything else in the world could accomplish as one half entered the original and the other half entered the other clone miles away in Gatō's mansion in a matter of seconds filling them both in on its actions.

Naruto blinked and rubbed his head at the influx of memory, everything from the first clone's actions before summoning the second to its thoughts and feelings, to the second clone's actions, thoughts, and feelings.

"That's a lot of information." Naruto thought as he looked down at the pile of scrolls, books, dockets, and a flipping safe. No one could say Uzumaki Naruto didn't go overboard when the situation called for it.

Naruto made the cross seal and summoned 12 clones handing them each a scroll. "Go read those and if you are done come back, return the scroll and dispel, I'll then summon another clone and hand it another scroll." They nodded and as one looked over at Hinata's prone form and determination burned in their eyes as they left out through the window dashing to a clearing where they could read the information without disturbances.

Naruto went over to close the window and looked down only to see Sasuke staring in the direction his clones left, he looked back at the window and he and Naruto locked eyes. Sasuke's Sharingan flashed but he had to take a step back when he saw Naruto's eyes flash the same shade as his and the killing intent that threatened him made him see his horrible death.

Naruto decided he wasn't going to let the Uchiha get to him anymore he would control his anger and even though his mind screamed for the Uchiha's blood he kept his features schooled.

Sasuke didn't see it like that, No In Sasuke's eyes, Naruto was looking down on him, whatever that was it was another challenge and Sasuke accepted it wholeheartedly, he didn't care what that change in his eyes meant, he would take it on and beat it to the ground no mercy.

Naruto closed the window and Sasuke sneered before turning back to the tree in front of him and throwing a roundhouse kick that made the bark shake.

Walking over to his previous position Naruto got back on his knees and held onto Hinata's hand as he continued blaming himself for her condition. The whole mission to wave has been worrying her because of him, it now seemed like all that worry took its toll on her and now she suffered.

He grits his teeth as he cursed himself and his jealousy, at his stupidity before squeezing Hinata's hand firmer.

"I promise Hinata, that I will never let my emotions get the better of me again. That's a promise of a lifetime." Naruto whispered his promise to the sleeping girl and he planned on keeping it.

«««««"»»»»»

'It seems '2' got us a huge load.' Maybe I'll stay a bit longer and scout out the situation at least when they attack we will be ready.' '1' thought insightfully as he stayed on Gatō's face as the man's new black tinted glasses.

A week had come and gone with team 7 broken.

Sasuke was in a training frenzy that Itachi had to stop by always having him close. Naruto never left Hinata's side who had been comatose without any sign of waking up, the only time he would leave and rest was when Tsunami would chase him out of the room to sleep or to wash Hinata, and the moment the room would be free he would appear there in seconds.

"Naruto-Kun you need to go outside and stretch your limbs at least just to get some sunlight." Naruto hissed at the sudden intrusion of light in the room as Tsunami opened the window Hinata didn't make a move she felt the difference in the room.

"I'm okay Tsunami-San really." He tried to reassure her by smiling but no matter how hard he tried to pull something that came so naturally before he couldn't and one look at Hinata's sleeping form had him sniff and look away from Tsunami and the sleeping beauty beside him.

"Ohh Naruto-Kun." Tsunami went over and hugged the blonde feeling for him. "You can't blame yourself I don't know what it could be that caused this but I'm sure it's not your fault." Tsunami said as she patted his head with the blonde fighting his tears to the bitter end he wouldn't let them fall.

"B-but she was worried about me, an-and this happened." Naruto said sniffing the entire time but never closing his eyes even to blink that would be conceding defeat.

"You know Hinata-Chan was saying the same thing to me the night you disappeared, she blamed herself." Tsunami said as she made some distance between her and naruto so she could look him in the eyes.

"Do you want her to blame herself again? Blame herself when she wakes up to find you in a bad condition, to find you behind on your training, and even worse stinking do you think she will want to hug you if she found you like that." Tsunami tried to keep a serious face at the end of her speech but she couldn't help it the way the blond stared at her in horror and sniffed his armpits only to cringe was priceless.

"Come on Naruto-Kun tell you what, I'll go run you a bath and when I come back up here, you should be ready to leave okay?" It was a request but knew better than to say no that face she pulled told him there was only one right answer and he should be smart enough to know it, so Naruto nodded and she smiled.

"Great, your sensei and teammate left earlier with my dad." Tsunami told the boy as she went downstairs.

"Why do you bother with those people?" Tsunami stopped in her tracks and looked back and below to see her son there glaring at her.

Inari has spiky black hair and dark-colored eyes. He wore a green jumpsuit with a yellow shirt and a simple pair of sandals. He also wore a blue and white striped hat under the brim of which he would usually look at people. Like he was doing now at his mother.

"What is wrong Inari-Kun?" Tsunami said as she got down on a knee to look her son in the eyes.

"Those stupid ninjas are just gonna cause more problems here, why don't we just chase them away?" Inari grounded out at his mother and the woman frowned.

"Inari dear, they are here to help us." Tsunami said gently to her son, and inari balled his fist in anger.

"They are doing nothing here but placing a target on our backs, then they are gonna leave and go back to their village living it up on the money grandpa paid them while Gatō makes us suffer even more." Inari ranted to his mother in anger at the ninjas and the situation they were in.

"What do you want us to do Inari, do you want us to give up? We are not the only people in wave country dear others don't have a home to sleep in, a meal to eat, there are even kids your age with no family to call their own. Do you think they just want things to stay the same?" Tsunami asked her son softly and the boy's anger spiked as he heard his mother's words but did not listen.

"Who cares, what do all of them know about my pain, they come here and eat our hard-earned food and take our hard-earned money only to sleep around." Inari stopped talking and stared at his mother wide-eyed when she slapped him across the face, with his hat flying off his head.

"What hard-earned food have you brought to this house, what hard-earned money have you worked a day off to make, have you brought to this house!" Tsunami shouted at her son who looked down in shame.

"Those ninjas shouldn't even be here and yet they stayed to help us, they are going through their own hardships but they add our own on top and make ours a priority. For God's sake Inari, the girl is blind and yet she made a whole journey from her home to help us!" Tsunami couldn't even look her son in the eyes as she stood up.

"Go to your room and think about what matters to you in life, I did not raise you to be a selfish brat, your father would not like this side of you either." At Tsunami's dismissal, Inari ran to his room sobbing and she sighed.

Tsunami went to the bathroom and did as she said she would running Naruto a bath and when she found it to her liking she was ready to go fetch him but found him already at the door to the bathroom waiting patiently.

"Did you say what you wanted to say?" She asked him and he confused her by shaking his head in the negative.

"I will tell her when she wakes up." He told her and she smiled at his words, such a good boy she thought.

"Great!" She said clapping her hands and walking over to Naruto before pulling him inside and switching their positions, now she was by the door and Naruto stood inside. "Enjoy your bath, and make sure to clean that armpit really well I can still smell it." With that said she closed the door behind her with an embarrassed Naruto trying to fold his hands to give his armpits no breathing room for the stink to escape through

AN

I'm addicted, I can't help but please you guysand an idea popped up for sakura that I had but didn't know how to put down in words and I think I finally found it...

I always wondered what they meant by Sakura having perfect control and yet the only thing they gave her was super strength, something that means nothing in a world where a stab wound get u killed faster then a punch ever would worst from a person so slow with very Telegraphed movements you wouldn't need a Sharingan to predict em moves... Sakura in my verse has the perfect chakra control of a rinnengan wielder without the massive chakra reserves to pull a devastating all mighty push but enough control to drag someone close at a certain distance from her I'm not saying she will but an example is set, wink wink

I always hated how they made a 12 year old , do for Inari wat his own mother couldn't do. Tsunami is a strong woman in my fic, assertive, loving, supportive and understanding.

Anyway next chapter we have the bridge battle and I don't know we will see I myself don't even know what I want out of it... except a lot of drama and confusion and blood and gore and breath taking cliffhangers. Mwaaahahaha
