Here's the new chapter.

She had been sharpening a katana when Sasuke Uchiha had entered the weapons shop she had been working at. She'd recently started focusing on that particular field. She'd already managed to master most normal weapons, and so was learning the process of making and managing weapons. Her master was Kiri Tekketsu, the best in Konoha when it came to forging weapons. While Konoha wasn't renowned for it's weapons quality like Kiri and Kumo, they weren't as bad as Iwa either. They were about on par with Suna quality wise, with different specialities. But she wanted to be a weapons master, and she couldn't do that with weak weapons. And so she was in the process of slowly customizing all her standard issue weapons to be much better, while designing some unique surprises of her own. She'd been thinking about those weapons when she heard the door open and saw Sasuke Uchiha walk in.

Sasuke said, "Oh, it's you." though it didn't sound like he particularly cared. She smiled at him and asked, "How can we help you today ?" He replied "I want a custom made chokuto."

After getting the specifics of the weapon, and asking some clarifying questions, she said "All right, please wait a moment while I ask about your order with the owner."

She went out back to where the forge was, and tapped the shoulder of the green-haired man working there. Kiri Tekketsu was a stern looking old man with a harsh glare, whose temperament didn't match his appearance. He was generally mild-mannered, though he could get excited and even angry about weapons. She talked to him about the order, while asking for some urgency in fulfilling this particular order. Sasuke wasn't exactly a friend of hers, but he had a rivalry with Lee, and a sorta maybe not-quite friendship thing going on with Neji, so she figured she should help the guy out. After looking over the order, her teacher said "All right. I'll be done with this within a couple of hours."

She headed out and told Sasuke that, and then threw a push pin while letting go of the paper the order was written on, pinning it to the wall along with all the others, without overlapping or smushing the paper. It had taken her a while to get used to throwing push pins, but now she could wield them with pinpoint precision. Sasuke raised his eyebrow at that, and muttered "Impressive." She wanted to laugh at that. She hardly considered it impressive compared to what the rest of the Konoha 12 could do, and Sasuke was one of if not the strongest shinobi of that already impressive group. But she took the compliment, and with a laugh said "Thanks. My goal is to be a weapons master, so I've trained with pretty much everything that could be loosely considered a weapon. Though I kinda doubt I'll be throwing pins at anybody in a real fight."

A thoughtful expression rose up on the face of the Uchiha as he muttered "weapons master, huh." Then he turned to her and asked "So you're also good with shuriken ?"

"Well yeah. That's one of the first things I trained with." That was a weird question, but the reason was made clear as he nodded and said "Great. Show me" , while pointing a finger outside.

"Uh, my shift here isn't over yet. I'll be done here in a hour."

"All right, I'll meet you at Training Ground 5."

"Ok."

Sasuke nodded and body flickered out. Well that just happened. Would this be considered a date ? Nah, probably not. She doubted the idea had even crossed the mind of the Uchiha, who she knew to be just as single-mindedly driven towards the Shinobi life as her green jumpsuit wearing teammates were, though from what she'd heard Sasuke's reasons were less pure than those two.

She shook of her thoughts and went back to work. The next hour went by quickly, with no new orders coming in. She greeted Misa, who was taking the next shift, and headed out to meet Sasuke Uchiha. When she arrived, he was already in the midst of training. Shuriken were thrown about, though some targets were left open, probably for her. Sasuke turned to her when she arrived, and walked over. He first directed her to various targets at certain distances, and asked her to skills. He quickly threw multiple shuriken, hitting all the targets dead center with a flick of her wrist. Sasuke looked impressed, and muttered "Yes, you certainly are a match skill-wise."

She wondered who she was being compared to, but didn't ask the question. He then pointed to another target and asked her to hit it from her current position. It was a tricky target, as it wasn't in direct sight, so she'd have to curve a shuriken to hit it. She turned to him and asked, "wires ?" He just shook his head. She realized what he wanted, and took out two shuriken. She threw the first, and the second soon after. The second hit the first at just the right time, deflecting it into the target. It wasn't quite as sharp as she wanted, though she hadn't really practiced this particular trick.

Sasuke said "That's amazing. Could you teach me ?"

"Uh, all right, though if you don't mind me asking, why exactly do you want to use this particular trick ? It's not that useful, and there are other ways to get the same effect."

He just shook his head and said "It's a Uchiha trademark", as though that explained everything. She didn't relate, but she knew that her teammate Neji could be focused on clan moves in the same way. So she just nodded, and explained various guidelines and tricks she used for shurikenjutsu. By the time they were done, it was getting dark, and so Sasuke paused the training and said, "I think that's enough. We should leave now."

As she turned around to leave, Sasuke then said in a low voice, "Thanks Tenten. I appreciate it." She smiled, and turned around and said "No problem. By the way, your weapon is probably done by now, so do you want to head back together. My home is close by anyway, so I can accompany you there." He seemed somewhat surprised, but after a short pause agreed, and they headed back together, making small talk on the way. Though she did most of the actual talking. But all in all, she supposed Sasuke Uchiha wasn't terrible company.

A/N

I hope you enjoyed that. I tried to add some extra depth to Tenten's character. There will be 3 more of these sol type chapters, and all will have Tenten as the narrator/viewpoint character. Next time, I'll look at Lee.
