Hey guys, I know it's been a while, but I've been busy, and I had a bit of a writing block. I decided to ditch the remaining Tenten side stories, and a couple of stuff I had planned. The Naruto and Sasuke side stories will be incorporated into the rest of the story in flashbacks. So there's one final arc, which will be the jonin exams, and then I'll be continuing with the main story. I might go and add the Tenten stories if I'm able to figure them out, but for now, here's the chapter. Since I cut this short, it's kinda incomplete. You can skip this if you like.

She knew that she could not match the amount of effort Lee put in. And she was fine with that. She wasn't as excited about the Shinobi life as he was. Lee put in more effort than anyone else she knew. Especially lately. She'd thought that it was already impressive years ago, but after the Chunin exams he'd only gotten more and more intense about training. It was starting to get worrying, but on most days she let it slide as Guy was willing to stay with Lee for the extra training he went through. But today her sensei was preoccupied with a different mission, and so they were doing their regular training on their own. As per usual, Lee was continuing his training, even after she and Neji were done.

But on this day, she decided to stick around for a while longer. Someone had to make sure Lee didn't kill himself by overworking his body. The guy was reckless enough even with supervision. So she waved Neji goodbye and collapsed on the grass, while Lee continued training. She watched as continued practicing various taijutsu moves as though he had limitless stamina. But she knew him well enough to know that he was exhausted. As she expected, he soon stumbled, tripping himself up. He tried to continue, as though nothing had happened, but she stopped him there.

"All right, I think that's enough for today Lee."

"You need not worry Tenten. I can keep going. The energy of my youth is not burned up just yet."

She sighed, and decided to change tactics.

"All right, but let's switch things up a little. I'll give you some weapons training."

As they began, she said, "You don't need to be the rush yourself Lee. You'll get strong in time, I guarantee it."

Lee seemed like he was you about to reply, but he shut his mouth and they wordlessly continued the training for a few minutes, and then left. He seemed to have at least considered her words, so she left the issue.
