The radiant Disney Castle. A peaceful world full of light and life, ruled fairly, justly, and wisely by King Mickey Mouse. Under his rule, everyone within this world was happy, lived well, helped each other, and did their very best to keep that joy strong every passing day. It was an especially beautiful day today as Court Wizard Donald Duck walked the halls, past King's dutiful, water bucket carrying, animated broom servants. Eventually, Donald arrived at his destination. The great, giant doors to the king's throne room. Clearing his throat, the court wizard duck opened up a small rectangular portion of the door more fitting with his size. As if the door itself was built for the sake of accommodating people of all shapes and sizes.

Walking inside, Donald projected his voice within the wide, open throne room, speaking with his usual quack-like lisp. "Good morning, your majesty. It's nice to see you this mor-...WHAT!?" Donald's greeting was cut off as suddenly he saw...King Mickey was not sitting upon his visage emblazoned gold throne!

Peering out from behind the throne was Pluto, Mickey's pet dog. In his mouth was a letter with the King's seal. After taking the envelope out of the dog's mouth, Donald's eyes scanned along its words. He found himself blinking sharply at the severity of what he read...

"WAAAAAK! WAAK! WAAAAAAK!"

...and ran out of the throne room, frantically quacking up a storm all the way out to the courtyard.

There he found the captain of the royal guard, his old friend Goofy...snoozing. Skidding to a halt, he leaned over the slumbering bipedal armor clad dog-man and "Wake up, Goofy! Wake up! This is serious!" His call was met...with a loud snore. Having no patience for this, Donald thrust his hand up, unleashing a bolt of Thunder to wake the snoozing Goofy.

Goofy let out a cry of alarm as he was suddenly shocked, leaping five feet off the ground despite being in a prone position. As the electric magic faded, he flopped right back onto the ground. Despite the seemingly painful electrocution, Goofy pushed himself up, merely looking as if he was suffering from post-nap grogginess. He looked around, eyes droopy, before he saw Donald. Grinning, he waved to the duck and greeted him. "Hey there Donald. Good morning."

"We've got a problem, Goofy!" Donald said, ignoring his friends slow minded behavior. As he said before, this was serious. "But don't tell anyone." he added in a hushed voice as he looked around cautiously. This wasn't something the rest of the castle needed to hear

Goofy's eyes widened with surprise after Donald said that. "Queen Minnie?" he asked, wondering if their king's bride should know

"Not even the Queen." Donald said, lifting his beak up and turning his head. As bad as it was to keep information from the one person of equal authority in Disney Castle, Donald couldn't risk this news being leaked and causing a panic throughout their world.

"Daisy?"

Goofy's question made Donald's anger flare again. Daisy knowing this would be even WORSE! The last thing Donald wanted was Daisy lashing out at him. Why couldn't Goofy understand this was something important that couldn't be spread? He vehemently shook his head and emphasized his point with a shout of, "NOOO! It's top secret!"

What Donald didn't realize was that Goofy hadn't even been looking at him when he was asking those questions. He soon realized who he was looking at when Goofy smiled and waved to a spot behind him. "Uh, good morning ladies."

Before Donald even had the chance to be confused, the realization struck. He let out a panicked quack as he hesitantly turned around and saw the two ladies in question. The royal caretaker, Daisy Duck, who was also Donald's beloved. The other was the Queen, Minnie Mouse. An adorable mouse lady in a pink regal dress and a golden tiara fitted with rubies. "Ahem. Donald. Is there something you want to tell us?" Daisy said with her hands to her hips.

There was no getting out of this. Donald laughed nervously, not looking forward to having to explain the bad news to them. Especially since they heard him try to keep it a secret. This day was not off to a good start at all.
