An: Two vagueish descriptions of soft, loving sex. Very brief. Also, please don't be angry. I couldn't find an exact answer as to where Zekahn was born, just that he grew up mostly in Orgrimmar. The answer I found was "small jungle village" and the Echo Isles.
Kali couldn't put her flames out until she felt spindly arms wrap around her from behind. They went out in a rush and she started quietly crying, turning to bury her face in Zekhan's neck. "And I bet our skewers are cold now. That hideous wretch!" In her head, Kali's true thoughts ran wild and tangled with fear at the threat made to her lover. Then the comforting memory of the end of her first week in Azeroth overtook Kali.
Skin on skin, soft pants in the dark. A sweet, carefully made kiss as they clung together, joined in love. Breath warm on each other's lips. The coil tightening in her belly as she called for him to go faster, that she was on the edge. Nails biting into both backs, they were swept away together in their first wave of-
Zekhan chuckled, carefully rubbing Kali's back as he inspected her braid. "Ya alright? I be puzzled, 'cause your older brother told me ya lot would be paralyzed if it were severed."
Kali shrugged. "I'm not paralyzed. Plus, I never was as close to Eywa as the others and now I know it's because my soul longed to worship another and I wasn't...truly Na'vi to begin with." A low buzz of frenzied conversation began to overtake the citizens now and Shaw finally approached.
"Time to go back-"
Before he could finish, a soldier in plate bearing the Stormwind crest caught up to them. He was panting and wheezing and doubled over. "Something... something horrible has happened to the king, Master Shaw." He whispered, even breathless as he was. "Winged... purple people dropped out of the sky and wrapped our king up in chains. They took him away."
Reznik appeared from literally nowhere on Shaw's other side. "Ambassador Zekhan's people are sending messages to tell him much the same thing, that people have been taken by flying purple attackers."
Kali's stomach dropped. "Let me guess...Thrall and Saurfang? It's all the people who ended up in my home."
"No. Thrall and Bane Bloodhoof." He glanced at Shaw. "Seems to me like the Banshee has come for revenge, boss."
Mathias Shaw; who had just gone through a hundred variations of devastation and disappointment was quiet when he spoke. "Is Saurfang compromised?" Reznik shook his head. "Get him well out of sight. Make him disappear. We can use her surprise against her when they finally come face to face again." Then he turned a sad gaze on Kali. "It looks like you get to go home, after all. She's clocked you. There's no hiding now. I'll send some agents to discreetly follow and be back up, but you should..." He struggled a moment. "Go, Zekhan. Connect our peoples so we can be a united front when the plan begins to take shape."
Kali felt Zekhan's grip on her hand tighten. "I be on my way. Kali, let's go. We have to get to-" He looked at Shaw. "Is Dalaran nearby?"
"I can make it so. I'll have Khadgar pick you up. Your skewers miss." He handed Kali the food and disappeared. Kali felt like they still probably weren't alone, and wasn't sure it was a good or bad thing in this light. They ate quietly until a mage escorted them to a portal which opened up to Dalaran. Zekhan seemed to be deliberating something.
"Ma Zekhan?" Kali was confused. "We need to get to Orgimmar don't we? Connect with our people and see if anyone knows anything?"
He began tugging her back the way they came. "Dire as things be, there is something that be more important to me. Especially if we could go to Bwonsamdi's side any day now." Back on the ground in Stormwind he got a horse for them to share and began to ride away from the city. Kali had enough time to read the arrow shaped sign before the horse quickened its pace. Directions to Darkshire? What hell could he want in Darkshire?
"Ma Zekhan?" She asked him again.
"Shh, my spitfire. Just relax. We're just going to have ourselves a moment in de sun before it all goes sideways." Kali tried to do as he said, leaning against his back and willing herself into an uneasy sleep.

Zekhan felt the exact moment Kali slipped into sleep behind him and smiled. It would he fantastic if she slept until they got to the Stranglethorn Vale and he located the place he was originally born. He was going to ask her on the coast of his home to take their courtship and make it...well exclusive. To become totally official. Marriage. At night when they were tangled together in limbs, sweat and soft groans, he felt complete. He had almost died many times during the battle for Azeroth and while he had been alright with the idea for the sake of his people...Things were different now.
If he were destined to die in the coming conflicts he sensed like the ebb of the wind, then so be it. But it wouldn't be without spending every second he could as close as possible to Kali. Zekhan amused himself by remembering their first couple of days in his house, recalling with a chuckle the primal tension between the two of them that kept climbing until the end of Kali's first week on Azeroth, when Zekhan finally took charge. She had already been struggling for a couple days to ask him herself when he made the first move.
When she came back from her daily walk, she found their home lit by low, flickering candles. There was a strong sweet smell coming from the multitude of colored petals he'd scattered on the floor. When she took a few confused steps in, he melted from the space behind the door and wrapped his arms around her, laying his head sideways against the back of hers so as not to stab her with his tusks. He spoke in his lowest, rumbliest voice. "Ma Kali...my beautiful blue spitfire. Join me in the bath. I want to lavish you in love, learn every nook of your body."
Zekhan was jolted from his sweet reveries by the howls of feral worgen and considered spurring the horse to go faster, but realized she wouldn't escape in time. He kept a steady pace, waiting for them to move on and breathed a sigh of relief. Kali was still out, too which was a blessing because Zekhan still didn't want to tell her what they were doing.

Kali was dreaming again. She was back in the Court of Spirits. She leaned against the altar in the middle, breathing in. Bwonsamdi appeared to her side. He looked worried when he gazed upon her relaxing in his home. "Godfather." Kali smiled at him. "This is nice. Why are you frowning?"
"Kali, ya be headin' into grave danger." He floated closer, his voice still full of concern. "I can't..." He struggled, his voice choking itself in his throat. "I can't tell ya."
Now Kali was frowning too, sitting up. "Bwonsamdi, what's wrong?"
He was really struggling. "I be under magical...means to keep ma mouth shut. I want...to tell ya."
Now she was shifting to near-panic. Trying to get herself calm, she attempted to be brave. "If this about Sylvanas, I have that hair-pulling bitch on the run. I'm more angry about the kidnappings. She took some of my people. Anduin too, I guess. He's pretty neat." Kali huffed, pretending to be unbothered that he had been taken.
Bwonsamdi was getting more and more agitated. "I can't...I just can't, Kali. I be too weak to get much closer to this."
"Can I help you get stronger?" Kali's offer was immediate and sincere. She was very fond of the loa. To the point that she really wasn't afraid lf death now because she knew she'd be with him constantly.
Bwonsamdi took a visible pause. "It not be something I'd ask of you."
"Why not? It doesn't have to be a deal does it? I'd be doing it because you mean so much to me. I refer to you as my godfather. One day my kids will too." Kali was awash with sadness that he apparently felt unable to ask her for help. "And you are my chosen religious...figure. I'd be a horrible follower if I just left you like this when you clearly bothered and struggling to fix it yourself."
Bwonsamdi sighed at this. "I'll think about it. Just keep believin' in the meantime." He hugged her. "Now it be time for you to wake up. Please...be careful."
