The clock ticked. His stomach churned, making a strange gurgling sound. Josh sighed, resting his hand upon his chin. His sharp, green eyes glared so hard at the clean, sheered wood before him that he could've bore a hole in it - well, if he was Superman, anyway.
He was starving. He'd not had breakfast - way too busy, way too late for the bus - and he was simply waiting for the time to pass him by, lurking in the study hall.
Josh pushed a hand through his soft, fluffy brown hair as he tapped the table, his lips puckered as if deep in thought. He looked around again – nope. Nothing.
Not even a blip of excitement.
Well, that is until he got a tap on the shoulder…
"Josh, is that you?" The voice asked quizzically.
The lad couldn't help but turn around and see who was grabbing his attention – and who was it but Max, his old "friend" from high school.
"Max! I'm surprised you even remember me. What's up, dude?" Josh was quite enthused, getting up without hesitation as best he could - though, due to his frame, he was relatively slow.
This was because Josh had once had a crush on Max.
Tell a lie - he still had a crush on Max. He tried to repress it, but he just couldn't. He loved how soft, friendly and warm Max seemed. His big, plump cheeks, his tender smile, his kind, deep blue eyes that shimmered like a freshly-cut diamond…
Max was still the same way, it seemed. "I was just a bit lost. I was trying to find the Creative Arts department?"
Josh's demeanour dropped slightly at this - it was obvious to even himself, so he picked himself up. "Oh, of course, I can h-help!" He stammered, before awkwardly shuffling out of the table and chair he was between and waltzing over to the exit, beckoning Max to follow.
Max considered this strange, though couldn't help but find it somewhat charming. They walked down to the right wing, finding the right hallway and even the right room.
As Max entered the room, Josh couldn't help but stare at his fat, juicy butt. "Wow…" Josh thought to himself. "Would love to grab a bit of that…"
As soon as this thought finished, Max looked back, letting rip a foul, loud fart.
Phh…PHHRRRBBBNNNTTTtttt!!
"Oh, shit… mmmph, sorry dude, that must reek!" Max spluttered out. Josh held his nose, laughing slightly as his crush seemed so utterly embarrassed.
"It's fine, really. Everyone does it. It's not the end of the world, I guess. See you later, I guess?" Josh commented.
Max smiled sheepishly. "Yeah… See you later, dude."
Little did Josh know, but as he walked away, Max was eyeing his body up just as he had done before…
But for a whole, different reason.
