The universe is a vast place filled with curious beings, and humans and Beeheyem are not the only ones to seek information from beyond the stars. Blipbug are common in Galar's gardens, and most if not all Orbeetle today were born on this world, but there is reason to believe the first to arrive were probes sent from afar.

Orbeetle radar is as primitive as their spacecrafts are advanced, covering a mere 6 miles in distance, but what these pokemon lack in range they make up for in numbers. A single Orbeetle relays only the signals of a small portion of this world's surface into space, but these territorial pokemon are numerous and spread out enough to provide a detailed profile of all Galar, along with rumors and shadows of locations of interest elsewhere.

It is not entirely clear what the Orbeetle are after, save that it is surely far older than our modern, technological civilization which has begun to stretch out to the ultra wormholes and the stars. Kalos' Geosenge Town has been proposed as a subject of interest, as have the standing stones of Turrfield – yet while some kind of connection can perhaps be surmised from the artistic and fossil record, it is absurd to suggest any sort of inanimate object has been subjected to such intense radar surveillance.

Perhaps it is civilization itself which the Orbeetle are probing, either on a worldwide scale (with Galar as a convenient base) or because of some particular aspect of Galar's own society – even wild Orbeetle, after all, rarely stray too deep into the wilderness. Yet humans must not forget that they share this world with hundreds of other creatures, some of which, such as Ledian and Bisharp, have far more obvious affinities to these big-brained pokemon...
