"I guess it's not too hard to catch a Dragon if you use the right bait." Gajeel taunted from the other side of the room as my Magic died down.

"Unlike what I've seen from you Phantom assholes, I care for my Guildmates." I snarled. "And especially My Lucy." Gajeel's eyes widened a fraction. "I won't let you lay another finger on her!"

"Yami…" Lucy trailed off. I glanced back at her, beaten and bruised, but her eyes shone.

"I need you to stay out of the fight, ok?" I told her lowly. "This is going to get ugly."

"This one's mine." Gajeel growled. I turned back to him as he launched himself at me. My Magic faded from around me, and I lept to meet Gajeel head-to-head. His arm turned into an iron pole, launching it toward me. I caught it, tossing Gajeel into a wall. My fist lit up with magic as I launched a fist at Gajeel. He brought up his iron arm to block me, but it was all for naught.

"Black Dragon Tallon!" I roared, kicking him across the room. I landed in front of Lucy as Gajeel got to his feet.

"For bein' Fairy Scum, you sure are cocky." Gajeel commented.

"Don't you talk to me about being scum." I scowled. "For what you did to My Lucy, I'll pay you back the pain tenfold!"

"Sounds like fun." Gajeel laughed. "So give it a shot!" Magic erupted from my hands and we charged at each other. The two of us traded blows until Gajeel turned his arm into a sword, hitting me away and cutting my cheek. I wiped the blood away.

"Lucky shot." I spat.

"This is the Iron Dragon Sword!" Gajeel taunted. "Anything it touches is cut to shreds! I thought I'd give you an up close and personal demonstration!"

"Wow, I'm terrified." I droned. Gajeel launched himself at me, swinging downward. I leapt backward away from the swing, which landed exactly where I had been standing.

"C'mon! Not so cocky now are 'ya kid?" Gajeel tried to cut me, but I dodged each time, jumping away from him. "I think you're scared!" At one point, I jumped off Gajeel's sword and landed far away from him. "I'll give 'ya credit for bein' such a nimble little fairy."

"I'll admit, for someone so large, you're agile yourself." I said. "Now, shut up and fight me!" Gajeel laughed as a mint-green Magic Circle appeared underneath him. Little silver diamonds appeared all over Gajeel's skin, Dragon Scales.

"Are you ready, Fairy?!" Gajeel launched himself at me. "Iron Dragon Hard Fist!" I brought up my arm to block the attack, but the attack was indeed hard. I felt the impact of the attack on my forearm, and it sent me sliding back into a wall. I let out a small grunt of pain, pushing off the wall and grabbing hold of my now ruined shirt, tossing it to the side to leave me in my black workout bra. "Hearin' you hit that wall was like music to my ears."

"Well, unfortunately for you, it didn't do much." I said. Gajeel shot towards me and tried to uppercut me, but I jumped out of the way, he tried to punch me across the room, but I lept back to dodge. He tried to kick me, but I ducked low. I could feel the air pressure careen around me. "Black Dragon Iron Fist!" Fueled by magic, my fist landed a solid punch on Gajeel's face, but I could tell it didn't do much, my fist aching with the impact.

"Poor little Fairy." Gajeel cooed. "That had to hurt, huh? Hate to break it to 'ya, but your puny hand can't even scratch this steel." I retracted my fist, but then Gajeel tried to headbut me. "Cut the act, woman!" I dodged to the side. "You just don't want your friends to see you cry like a baby!" Gajeel retracted a hand and tried to crush me, but I lept back out of the way.

"Black Dragon!" I started, sucking in a breath.

"Iron Dragon!" Gajeel echoed.

"ROAR!" We chorused. Inky black magic shot out of my mouth, while silvery magic spewed out of Gajeels. The two breath attacks met in the middle, creating a shockwave that broke the wall beside us.

"Looks like there are some pretty big differences between Black and Iron Dragons, aren't there Eclipse? You could shower me with your attacks 'till you run outa Magic Power, but it's not gonna crack my armour! On one hand, just one of my Iron Blade Breath attacks can rip your puny body to shreds."

"From where I'm standing, I'm perfectly fine!" I shouted. "And…not being able to crack your armour?" I tapped my cheek with a clawed finger. "Guess again, Black Steel." Gajeel grit his teeth, clutching his face as his scales cracked. "You may think that just because my Magic isn't as flashy as yours or Natsu's, it isn't as powerful, but mark my words-" I ripped my tattered skirt away, leaving me in my legging and heeled bots. "You will regret those thoughts! Now! Let's stop dancing around! Let's fight like the Slayers we are!" Blue lines appeared over my body, appearing like scars over my arms, shoulders and back. I opened my eyes, reptilian eyes shining a vivid blue as my magic whipped around my body. "Dragon on Dragon!"

"Let's go!" Gajeel roared, his own magic doing the same.

"Give me everything you've got!"

"The sky's not big enough for two Dragons, kid! So I'm just gonna have to take you down Eclipse!"

"I was thinking the exact same thing!" I shot toward Gajeel with a black-covered fist. His fist met mine in a powerful blow. My wings ripped from my back and I grabbed Gajeel by his hair and flew upward, tossing him into the air. I flew after him, and into the air is where the fight continued. The two of us traded blows, Iron and Black magic bursting from our palms, so much that we broke a spike off the Guild Hall. We landed back in the ruined room we were in, and I could sense that Lucy, and now Happy, hadn't left. I watched as Gajeel sat…and started eating the iron sitting around him. "You need a time-out?" I asked him, standing tall.

"Now I've got a fire in my belly!" Gajeel shouted as he expelled his Magic.

"Oh, it's like that is it?" I cracked my neck.

"Say goodnight, Fairy!" Gajeel pointed his arm at me. "Iron Dragon Lance! Demon Log!" Gajeel shot thousands of iron shards at me. I sucked in a breath, the little shards changing direction into my mouth. I felt my own Magic Power growing. I turned to look at Lucy, who had summoned a spirit.

"Luce, you need to get out of the way!" I shouted back at her. "This fight is getting serious!"

"Aye!" Lucy squeaked, pulling Sagittarius away.

"Toodle-loo!" Sagittarius echoed.

"Black Dragon Tallon!" I launched myself at Gajeel with a black covered foot, hitting Gajeel in the stomach. Gajeel let out a grunt, but this was my fatal mistake, the Iron Dragon Slayer gripped my calf hard.

"I've had my fun with you." He snarled, and then he tossed me aside. I rolled, and landed on my hands and knees, facing the large hole we had made. "Hey, take a look at your Guild Hall." My head snapped up to look at Fairy Tail. "We're doin' some redecorating!" Tears sprung to my eyes…as I watched Fairy Tail crumble.

"No…" I breathed.

FLASHBACK

"Who are you?" I snarled, glaring at the man opposite me. He was tiny, he was half my size, with a large white moustache.

"Well, that's no way to greet someone." The man mused. "You look like you haven't eaten in days." Just like magic, my stomach let out a gurgle, causing me to grit my teeth and clutch my stomach. "Why don't you come with me young lady, and I can give you a proper meal and a good place to sleep. If it's not to your liking you can leave."

the guild hall collapsed in on itself

Makarov led me into Fairy Tail, and my nose twitched, the smell of alcohol and food greeting me. Underlying all of that was an ample magic aura, emanating from half a dozen or so members. "Hey, you!" Someone shouted. A pink-haired boy was pointing at me. "You're a Dragon Slayer, aren't you?" Whispers broke out around the Guild.

"Yeah." I said sternly. "What's it to you?"

"Fight me!"

"No way." I turned away from him.

the flag fluttered to the rubble ladden ground

"Welcome to the Fairy Hills!" The girls chorused.

"I'm…really ok to stay here?" I asked softly.

"Of course." A red-haired girl wearing armour said, stepping forward. "I'm Erza, and you're one of us now, this is your home.

the guild continued to crumble

"Wait, where are you going?" A tall blonde boy asked me as I opened the door to the Guild Hall.

"I'm going on my first mission." I said.

"Do you even know what it says?"

"Yes. It's asking for a capable wizard to escort an item from Blue Pegasus to Lamia Scale." I said, showing him the flyer in my hand.

"Are you sure you can do that yourself?"

"Yes I can, Laxus, I'm not incompetent."

"I'm coming with you." Laxus said, crossing his arms.

"I don't need you to come with me."

"Gramps' orders." Laxus plucked the flyer from my hand. "You can call the shots and get most of the reward, yeah? But we do this together."

"...fine."

the guild was left in shambles

"So, Yami, do you like the Guild so far?" Master Makarov asked.

"I love it." I told him with a faint smile. "Do you think…do you think I can stay here…forever?"

"Of course, this is your home Yami."

members were clutching each other and crying

"Where the heck are you taking me?!"

"Just, continue running! You said you wanted to join Fairy Tail right?"

END OF FLASHBACK

"My home…" I breathed. I pushed myself to my feet, smoke curling from my eyes. My lips were pulled back into a snarl as I stalked towards Gajeel.

"Yami, don't do this." Lucy pleaded. "Let's just give them what they want…maybe if I just let them take me, they'll leave you alone!"

"Lucy…" Happy said shakily. "You know there's no way she'd let that happen."

"Never." I growled. "I'm not letting you go Lucy."

"Your Guild Hall is in shambles." Gajeel taunted. "So, how does it feel to lose?"

"I haven't lost!" I roared, pulling my fist back and cocking the Iron Dragon Slayer across the face. Gajeel stumbled back. I heard the thwing of a bow, and I reached out to clutch some arrows that had been shot toward me. They had lacrima tips, little boosts of Magic. I brought them to my mouth and bit down on them, chewing through the crystal like it was butter. "Thanks Luce." I said softly, turning to the blonde. "You always know exactly how to help." I turned to Gajeel. "You're a dead Dragon."

"Eat anything you want, but you're still not gonna beat me!" Gajeel shouted, racing toward me. He lept up and aimed a punch at me.

"Black Dragon Roar!" I opened my mouth and let out the Black magic straight at Gajeel. Gajeel flew back and hit the large spire that had broken. "Levy, Jet, Droy, Master Makaorv, My Lucy, everyone your Guild has hurt, I will pay back their pain tenfold! You hurt Fairy Tail! That is unacceptable!"

"Iron Dragon Roar!" Gajeel shot the attack at me, and I sucked it u.

"You don't learn, do you!"

"You ate my Breath Attack!?"

"You hurt, and hurt, but it's never enough, is it? But it ends here. Now. By my claws. You'll pay for hurting my family! Messing with Fairy Tail, hurting My Lucy, that is the worst thing that you could have ever done!"
