Ratchet's P.O.V.
Crosshairs and Drift weren't pleased being told to stay out of the medbay. I can't work while they're hovering over me. They're not going to like I'm sedating Jamie. I want to do s full checkup, and Jamie will fight me. Jamie hates how much we already take care of her. She's a complicated human. I planned to wait until I finished before talking to Crosshaurs and Drift. This changes as I discover several more cuts on Jamie's legs. The two mechs will not like seeing this, but they must know. I cover Jamie with a blanket before getting the two mechs. I will inform Optimus later.

"You sedated her?" Drift asks, concerned.
"She will not cooperate as I do a full checkup, but I made a disturbing discovery after removing the rest of her gi and boots."
I pull the blankets off. Crosshairs and Drift couldn't believe what they are seeing, but Drift is more troubled by this.
"What happened, Jamie? Why did you do this?" He frets, "I should have stayed with her."
I quickly realize I should have told them after my exam. I should have known they wouldn't leave even though Jamie is sedated and I'm in the room with her.
"At least wait in the hallway," I argue while pushing them out of the exam room and closing the door.
"What has happened in the last seven years, Jamie?"
Jamie showed no signs of thinking of suicide or self-harm before she hid most of us from Cemetery Wind. Crosshairs and Drift didn't say anything about her thinking of suicide or self-harm the past seven months, just Jayce and J.R. Whatever happened to push her this far happened the past two months unless she reached her limit with her family.
Oh, Jamie, you should have taken Crosshairs and Drift's offer to let you stay here. You're an adult and legally allowed to.

Drift's P.O.V.
Twenty minutes have gone by. What did Ratchet find? It's not like it's been a long time since she's had a full checkup unless it's because Ratchet didn't do it himself.
"Will you relax?" Crosshairs asks.
Ignoring him, I continued to worry about Jamie. Something has to be wrong. I'm too distracted that I don't hear the door open.
"I'm finished with her," Ratchet tells us.

Crosshairs and I go into the room. Jamie is still asleep. Ratchet tells us he didn't find anything concerning — aside from what he showed us — and we can take Jamie to our room.
"If I knew you could have ripped her gi completely off, I would have grabbed some of her clothes," I comment.
"Then do that now. You two are getting assigned a bigger room to accommodate the three of you. We need a little more time," Optimus says as he enters the room.
I don't know what he means by needing more time, but it's not like we're in a hurry.
"I'll go; you stay here," Crosshairs tells me before leaving the room.
I move Jamie to a medical berth so I can lie next to her. The human-sized beds need to be bigger for this. As much as I love having Jamie sleep on me, I want to lie beside her. However, I was expecting Ratchet to scold me. Instead, he leaves the room, closing the door behind him.

Crosshairs' P.O.V.
Jayce and J.R. spot me immediately, both with worried expressions. I tell them Jamie is ok and they can call every night if that helps.
"We'll keep her safe," I promise before going to Jamie's room.

"How many Autobots logo shirts does she have?"
"Too many," Jayce comments.
I didn't know she followed me. She's afraid even after what I said.
"I want to go back with you," she tells me without crying. I proceed to call Drift. He does better with Jayce. It's both good and bad.
He insists I get J.R. didn't think he'd show them Jamie sleeping. He did have to explain that Ratchet did a full checkup on her before telling them what I told them.
Once we're sure they'll be ok, Drift ends the call, and I pack some clothes and other things for Jamie. It's hard to know if I packed enough, but knowing how much all the Autobots worry about all three of the girls, we'll be back to make sure Jayce and J.R. are ok, so it doesn't matter if I packed enough clothes.
J.R. tries to act like she doesn't care, considering her altercation with Jamie before Jamie fell asleep, but I can see worry in her green eyes. I remind the two femmes Jamie will be ok, and they can call when they want to, and they won't go crazy calling a million times a day. My quick trip turned into taking ninety minutes.

Optimus wants to talk to Drift and me when I return. Not sure about what since Prowl, Sideswipe, and Sunstreaker are waiting for us.
"How is Jamie?" Prowl asks, which is unexpected. From Jamie's records of all her adventures, Prowl never bothered to be her friend, just a fellow Autobot he respects. I tell him what was discovered back in Jamie's dimension and what Ratchet discovered.
"... she's still asleep," I finish.
"Why are we here if you're just talking about that stupid human?" Sunstreaker raged, referring to him and his brother.
"We need to talk about what to do with Jamie when Crosshairs and Drift are on patrol," Optimus tells him.
"Oh, no, I'm not babysitting that human," Sunstreaker fumes before walking away, ignoring Optimus's order to stop.
"Why do you think Jamie needs to be watched?" Sideswipe asks.

Optimus Prime's P.O.V.
I'd rather not tell everyone why if we can avoid telling them. I'd rather not have them worry about Jamie.
"Just do as you're told!" Prowl rages.
Without further questions, Sideswipe tells us he'll stay with Jamie and walks away.
"We can't keep this a secret from everyone, sir," Prowl comments, "everyone cares about Jamie, and they can help keep her safe. Maybe even get her to change her mindset."
"I will let Crosshairs and Drift make the decision."
The others go their separate ways.
"Optimus, are you sure this is a good idea?" I hear Lennox ask.
"I've known Jamie for eighteen years. While I might not know what happened to cause her to have this mindset, I know being around friends helps her."
"You might not know?"
"I have my suspicions though I advise not asking Jamie what's been happening in the past three months."

"She's awake but still out of it," Ratchet informs me as he leaves the medbay. I ask if Jamie can be taken to the room; Ratchet tells me it's fine.
Crosshairs and Drift are sitting on a bed, Drift holding Jamie, who's trying to stay awake.
I tell them the room is ready for them and suggest letting Jamie nap before dinner.

The room is bare, awaiting Crosshairs, Drift, and Jamie to personalize the space. This is one of the bigger rooms with the typical two full beds plus two additional full-sized beds that are folded into the wall for now. A couch, T.V. Stand, desk with chair, and a closet. There's also a bathroom. The room is close to a small studio apartment, minus a kitchen. I tell Crosshairs and Drift to clean out what was once their room by morning before leaving the room.

Crosshairs' P.O.V.
Drift sits on the bed, holding Jamie while I unpack the bag of Jamie's things, realizing I should have brought her red blanket. Seems silly, but it's one way to make this space feel like her room. She's used to having Drift sleep with her. Don't think three beds are necessary. Drift, and I clean out our old room once Jamie is asleep.

This takes a half-hour to put everything Into our subspaces.
Once we finish, Drift goes back to Jamie's dimension. He returns a half-hour later with Jamie's red blanket, her back pillow, and the medical supplies he kept in Jamie's room. I should have known to bring that stuff.
"We better dress her," Drift suggests, "I don't think she'd be too pissed that Ratchet took her gi off, but I don't think she'd appreciate still being in her underwear and bra."
We're used to this amount of care.

Jamie is up at five, in time for dinner before Drift and I have to go on patrol. It's not an issue if any soldiers or Autobots are around.

Jamie's P.O.V.
I don't know what to think about waking up in another dimension. I was aware I was in the medbay, and Ratchet was in the room, but I was still groggy and didn't think about where I could see Crosshairs, Drift, and Ratchet simultaneously. Now that I'm awake, Crosshairs and Drift tell me they want me to stay here. I know they both miss me, but it feels random for them to decide I should stay here unless...
"Jayce told you, didn't she?"
"I'm glad she did," Drift replies, sadness in his voice, "I don't understand why you didn't tell Crosshairs or me. I don't know if Jayce could have told us when you..." Drift trails off, moves me onto his lap, and hugs me. I'm amazed he's not crying; I know this hurts him.
Crosshairs sits next to him but says nothing. I know this is also hurting him, which is why I didn't want to say anything to anyone. I end up crying as I hug Drift, and this lasts five minutes before the two mechs get me to stop crying.
"It's going to be ok," Crosshairs assures me.
The two mechs wait ten minutes before suggesting we go to the cafeteria.

The terror twins are by the cafeteria. We try to ignore them, but Sunstreaker stops me.
"I know, Sunstreaker, you hate humans; stay away from you, and you're possessive, so I'll stay away from Sideswipe," I tell him before walking away, ignoring what he's saying.
I don't hate Sunstreaker; I hate how he hates humans and kills them. I am not afraid of him or that he'll try to kill me.
I follow Crosshairs and Drift to a table. The two mechs go to the kitchen to make dinner even though there's food already prepared; if I knew this was their plan, I would have brought something to do.
"Hey, long time no see."
I hear a familiar voice from behind me.
