Hello all!
I owe each one of you lovely people an apology for not updating in such a long time. I've been very unwell with a bad covid case and had recently come out of the hospital after struggling to breathe normally. It's still there, but not as life threatening as before, thank God.
In the meantime, I've been watching a lot of transformers media, and I've decided that I want to do a complete re-work of my favourite TV series, while bringing in other characters from different shows alongside some new OC's of mine.
First thing that must be said, is that Megatron is being replaced as the decepticon leader, and in his place will be one of my decepticon OC's (That doesn't necessarily mean that he won't appear or at least be mentioned)
Here's my OC's below
Autobots: V-talla (Autobot aerial support alongside her older brother, Breakaway)
Humans: Nathan Marr (U.S Airforce trainee), Alison Beige (Nathans C.O + Mother, works alongside Agent Fowler as autobot liaison)
Decepticons: Kronicon (Replacing Megatron as con leader, takes the basic design of 2007 meg, only with a sleeker, feminine head and face), Shadowstorm (Kronicons sister and right hand, a thinner, sleeker form of Megatron from the last knight)
I own nothing about transformers, excluding my OC's
Alright enough messing around, time for the prologue!
"In the beginning, before the start of our civilisation, reigned two gods. Primus, a compassionate being of creation and order. And his counterpart Unicron, who was of chaos and darkness incarnate."
In the tranquillity of space, it can seem that all is silent. No sound, no conflict, just everything being at peace.
"Their conflict shook the universe in its maximum, neither side seemingly gaining a foothold over the other. Until finally, Primus casted the chaos bringer out. With this victory, the god of creation gave life to our species, with the lord of the undead never to be heard of again."
Floating alone in this vast emptiness, a lush green world could be seen, that bore a ring of asteroids around it, heavenly light from the nearby star giving it a mythical presence
"In the millennium that followed the aftermath of their conflict however, rose a fanatic people so evil, so vile, that they consumed entire planets, to sustain themselves. All in the search for their master. Few of our species believed in such a cult that was loyal to such an evil thing. Until the day we saw their Nexus world... with our own eyes"
The light of the star slowly however began to be blotted out, as a huge planet sized object floated into view. It was shaped like any other world, but this bores a metallic dark grey, two huge horn like structures sprouting outwards that curled forward near the tips, a large ring surrounding it and complete with a large, vile orange eye of a sort, that had dark spiteful purple for its pupil.
As it floated closer and closer to the green world, several small objects suddenly ejected from of the Nexus, quickly making landfall. Three pods crashed first, unfurling into red eyed, mettle beasts that looked akin to a scorpion, followed closely by dozens of smaller craft landing, each releasing a swarm of small bipedal, skeletal creatures that shrieked like banshees, charging ahead like ghouls. Soon finished by a small ship landing, with its occupants rising from its top hatch.
"The Heralds of Unicron-as they called themselves-did not just come for our planet, however. For the purpose of finally achieving their goal, they wanted all of our history records, hoping it would lead them to their god. On top of that, they also desired our greatest relic. The Transwarp Key, a device that allows its user far more capabilities of travel than even the most up to date systems of Space Bridge technology."
"To accomplish this, the heralds sent their greatest, and vicious warrior to retrieve them both. Their leader, and founder. Scourge"
Charging forward, the three scorpion creatures fired via blasters built into their pincers, rushing through one of the many forests that cover this world. Ahead of them, and being careful not to get hit, was a large metallic silver gorilla, traces of grey fur lining his chassis that gave him a more beast-like appearance, and a glowing goldish-orange crystal in his left hand. He ran on and on with thundering footsteps with the constant laser fire going off around him, soon putting the crystal in his mouth so that he could use his arms to grasp a tree branch, and swing into a different direction, a laser blast blowing up the boulder he used to reach it.
As he came out of the trees, a blast suddenly glanced through his shoulders, giving a pained grunt as he fell to the ground, dropping the crystal as he did. He looked up in time to see a group of the bipedal invaders running in, widening his eyes and raising an arm to defend himself.
Suddenly though, a massive thick tail in a red colour cleaved four of them in half, sending the remnants far away as the rest screeched up as a giant maw full of teeth clamped down on them. Standing tall and roaring with might was large maroon coloured T-rex, about a few inches bigger than the gorilla that looked at him with ease.
Just as they were about to converse, one of the scorpion monsters charged out of the trees, catching the attention of the metal animals that readied themselves for a fight, only to be caught by surprise as another gorilla leapt out of the canopy, grabbing the beast by the tail, and swinging it around in an arc, before slamming it to the ground, and ripping its head off. The darker coloured ape roared as it beat its chest.
Just as another scorpion was about to attack, a sudden fire blast suddenly engulfed it, and from the smoke, a large feathery falcon in chocolate brown landed with a long shriek.
Soon these three animals were joined by others like them. From the rise behind the silver ape, came a large grey rat with pattering footsteps, and accompanied by a lager golden brown velociraptor, while out from the trees, an imposing rhinoceros in dark grey came thundering along, alongside a golden yellow cheetah. "I was able to wipe out our history records in the archive tower. But I doubt that will stop them" The rhino spoke up, addressing them all
"More enemies will be landing soon" The cheetah bot said, before looking up at the falcon "We won't be safe for long"
The female of the group, then turned to the velociraptor "How fares our predacon neighbours, my friend?"
The robotic looking raptor looked down mournfully, giving a hateful hiss "Whoever these invaders are, they took Megatron and my fellow Predacons by surprise. We were unprepared for their recklessness and their aggression." He looked up again, pain clear to see in his eyes "I am now all that survived" he concluded
The gathered beast bots looked down, taking a moment of silence to mourn for their fellow colonizers. They did not have the strongest relationship with them, but that didn't mean they wanted them destroyed. Far from it in fact "Well, we got the key, right? Boss monkey?" The rat then spoke up, trying to sound optimistic.
The silver gorilla, raised back up, and picked up the crystal. Their most precious relic "You must take it. Keep it hidden. So that the Heralds of Unicron will never get their hands on it" He addressed them.
"But Apelinq" The other Gorilla pleaded "We can fight" He insisted, a clear hint of desperation in his voice
"And how do reckon we go about doing that?" The maroon T-rex growled at him "We're without an army or any kind of means to destroy that dastardly thing up there. Face it, our world is already lost" He continued, looking to Apelinq after he was finished.
"T-Wrecks is right" He agreed, though not in the same dissenting tone that his ally used in addressing his fellow ape bot "Protecting our transwarp key is all that matters now. Go! Use it to escape!" He told them
The falcon had a look of sorrow in her eyes as she addressed hem "What will you two do?"
Apelinq and T-wrecks both looked into the trees, knowing that there would only be more danger to come "Take out as many of those slaggers as possible...!" The latter snarled, flexing his jaws.
"We'll buy you as much time as we can" Apelinq added on.
The other gorilla pressed a hand onto his shoulder "Then I'm staying with you two" he told the pair with a tone of finality.
T-wrecks gave a growl "No you're not, punk. You and the others are getting your afts off world, even if I have to stuff you into the Axalon myself!" He snarled
"T-Wrecks, enough!" Apelinq ordered the brutish warrior, who backed off at his words. He then softened his tone as he addressed his friend. For the last time "Listen to me. If the heralds get their hands on the key, they will be able to open portals through time and space at will, with no end to the worlds they could destroy. And if they do indeed find Unicron himself, and awaken him, I fear that no being in this, or any time, will be safe" He put his hands on his shoulders "Your time, as leader of the maximals, is now... Optimus, Primal"
He pressed his forehead into the other, in a gesture of farewell, before parting and turning to face the forest, tensing himself for the fight that may very well be his last. All of the other maximals, save T-Wrecks, turned and fled for their ship, with Primal lingering with one last look at his friends before rushing off with the rest.
About a minute later, an ominous being giving off a red glow could be seen, marching steadily through the trees towards them without a single sense of urgency. Apelinq widened the stance in his arms, summoning two imposing wrist blades that fixed themselves into place with a sheen, while T-wreck opened his mouth, and allowed two of his top teeth to extend downwards, giving off the appearance of Saber teeth as he snapped his jaw shut, while also configuring the end of his tail into a deadly spikey mace, slamming it on the ground.
The ominous being, now nearing the forest edge, began to speak "So you two are this planets, 'great warriors'" He began softly, causing the two maximals to growl/grunt "Hmm, you have such a beautiful world... filled, with an abundance of life... savoury" He finished just as he came out of the trees, revealing it to be the rustic but imposing form of Scourge, giving a sinister smile towards the two beast bots. "I saw your friend's handy work in the archive tower. Unfortunate, really. The information within would've gone a long way in our cause" He spoke with a hint of displeasure, as the two sides now began to pace around each other "But in the long run, it was only a bonus. My fellow heralds and I grow hungry and weak in the search of our lord and master. Give me the transwarp key, and you have my word, we will, spare your home"
T-wrecks gave a dangerous snarl "And what makes you think we would believe that for a second, Slag-head?"
Soon after he said that the sounds of a jet engine could be heard, causing all to look up in time to see a sleek femme bot that was coloured in bright purple for her chassis, with wing protrusions stretching out of the top of her back that was edged in a teel colour, and small fins coming out of her wrists, land gently on the ground. This was Slipstream, Scourges right hand, and the most dangerous huntress after her sparkmate and leader, whose eyes were an evil purple "We heralds are many things, Maximal" She began to speak, slowly stepping forward "Conquerors… Devourers… Explorers… One thing we are not though, are liars" She hissed, bringing out a sleek looking broadsword that she held via a scabbard on her back "Hand over the key, and I promise on behalf of us all, that we will leave your world, and never return…"
Apelinq gave a glare as he raised himself onto his hind legs "Even if we were to believe you... We would rather die than let you reach other planets" He affirmed.
Scourge gave a sigh, though not of disappointment "So be it..." The clawed hand on his left arm charged up for a deadly plasma shot. That was when the two maximals went on the attack.
With a might roar, T-Wrecks lunged at the leader of the heralds, just shy of cleaving scourges arm off as the evil mech dodged to the left, only to be barged and fall into a tumble as the maximal T-rex landed a swipe with his tail. Meanwhile, Apelinq beaten his chest before swinging his arms downwards at Slipstream, the femme herald using her feet and slender figure to counter the gorilla's abundance of arm weapons, dancing around his swings before promptly transforming her right servo into a blaster, and fired a red coloured shot at the apes chest, catching him off guard as the impact stung him.
Back with Scourge and T-wrecks, the dino akin maximal used his head as a club against the herald leader's chest, making Scourge stumble slightly from the impact, before replying with a swift but devastating back handed right hook, snapping T-wrecks' head to one side. The maximal T-rex opened his maw and prepared to clamp down on Scourge from above.
But he could react quickly enough before a sickle like sword went straight through his upper jaw, stopping him dead in his tracks with a rasping growl of pain.
Apelinq scored a kick on Slipstream, sending her back a few yards, before turning and widening his optics in horror at what had happened to his friend of many centuries. Fuelled by desperation at the sight of Scourges cannon hand charging up, he pounded his chest again and charged at the herald leader.
What he didn't know, was that Scourge charged his gun up for a different target.
Without looking, the evil mech stretched his arm out behind him, and fired a shot, and not only did it hit Apelinq in the chest, but also created a huge gaping hole that revealed his insides, making the Maximal roar in pain as he fell over forwards and slid along the ground.
One target down, Scourge gave his blade a savage yank, tearing the blade out of the front of T-Wrecks' head, splitting it in half, ensuring that the brutish maximal was dead as his body fell to the ground.
Scourge smirked cruelly as he turned away from the robotic T-rex and to the cybertronian Gorilla, walking over to him and reached down with his hand as he stowed his sword away, plucking the Maximal symbol off of his shoulder.
Slipstream, having by now recovered from what Apelinq did to her before, walked over to Scourge, smiling evilly as she watched her sparkmate use a laser tool built into his fingers to fuse the stolen mark to his shoulder. Right alongside all of his other trophies. "Herald of Unicron benefit number seven" She started off, laying a clawed hand on Scourge's trophy-marked shoulder and looking to him fondly.
The herald leader laid a clawed hand on slipstreams cheek, gently rubbing underneath her right optic with his thumb as he gave her a look of dark satisfaction "They never learn..."
"It's all over, Scourge and Slipstream" They turned to look down at Apelinq at his final words of defiance "You and all of your heralds will be trapped in this galaxy... forever"
Not even a second later, a distant rumbling could be heard on the wind. The two heralds turned to see a large oval shaped shape in pristine white launch from a structure atop of a large nearby mountain, before blasting straight up into the atmosphere.
It did not take long for the two heralds to connect the dots, a frown of anger on their faces "No!" Scourge growled as Slipstream glared at the ship as it journeyed further and further away.
Apelinq gave one last smirk, before his eyes closed and his head lolled to the side, now in eternal rest.
The Axelon continued its journey, soon leaving the upper atmosphere and into the void of space, being sure to avoid the herald's nexus world along their flight path. Out of the view port, still with the transwarp key in hand, Primal observed their home of many eons get smaller and smaller as they travelled further away, a great look of sadness, and even heartbreak in his eyes.
A wing soon circled his shoulders "Their sacrifice will become our oath. To preserve life across the stars and protect the transwarp key. No matter the cost" was the comforting words of his femme bot friend.
Soon the maximal ship was far away from the two worlds, and a stormy portal akin to an orange cloud appeared in front of it, soon evaporating as the vessel went through. Now the Maximals could be anywhere. In any time.
"So, the Maximals escaped with the transwarp key, and erased everything from their historic archives beyond recovery" Scourge addressed those before him on the herald's Nexus home world. A great multitude of millions of robotic monsters, most of which snarling like ghouls from hell, anger at the results of their conquest "This is not a time for anger or loss, Heralds of Unicron. We will scour this universe, find where they went and pluck the transwarp key from their dead, lifeless bodies"
Scourges words brought about great roars and shrieks of glee, the promise of countless amounts of spilled energon and worlds to devourer to glorious to ignore "The recovery of the key, however, is only the start. All of us here remember our destiny as heralds to our one true master. Recovering his spirit in our present is a lost cause. The answer to reviving him, lies in the past. Once we have the transwarp key, we will use it as our means to find him and awaken him." The heralds all gave more hisses at the proclamation "And from the ashes of our master, ultimate power will be ours. The past will destroy the future! The dead will rule over the living! And with our lord Unicron awakened, He will rule over all of time and space, as CHAOS WILL RAIN SUPREME!"
This shout rushed in unbridled howls and all manner of sounds, every herald prepared and wanting for the promised carnage to come.
As this speech occurred, their entire mechanical world made its statement on the galaxy. From the side protrusions that jutted out of it, huge blades in the formation of teeth reached out to the maximals lush green home, dug into its surface and the orange 'eye' performed a vacuum job off literally eating the green, beautiful world.
And just like that. The prologue is done
I'll see you in the official first chapter
