Vanya's Cafe

Young Vanya has the dream of opening a cafe.

"A cafe?" Klaus said through a mouthful of cereal. "Mhm, I think it would cool! I would decorate all neat and sell a bunch of stuff." Vanya nodded, kicking her legs gently, sitting on the bed.

"That's cool." Klaus agreed, a piece of cereal falling out of his mouth and onto the floor.

"Where would you build it?" Allison asked, laying on the floor on her back.

"I don't know, somewhere in the city." Vanya grinned.

"Sounds like it would do good." Luther looked away from his comic book to say.

"I agree." Five said, flipping a page of his book.

"If you got rich off a cafe, we could buy our own house." Diego suggested.

"Yeah, and decorate that too. And we could do whatever we wanted." Ben smiled, sitting on the top of the table in the middle of the room. "Heck yeah, who needs rules?!" Klaus stood up, spilling almost half of his cereal in the process.

"Klaus, please-" Allison said, pulling a piece of cereal out of her hair.

Vanya laughed, then spoke up, "Do you think dad would like it?"

"I mean, I don't see why not." Luther looked back at his comic book.

"Doesn't seem like his style, but maybe?" Five flipped another page.

"I don't think so, dad's.. boring and always working in his office." Diego rolled his eyes.

Ben was too busy cleaning the cereal off the floor to respond.

"Dad's stinky, and also dumb." Klaus stuck his tongue out.

Allison snort-laughed.

"He's not that bad.. He'd love it, I just know it." Vanya awkwardly said.

"I don't know about him, but I would." Luther closed his comic book.

"Once again, I agree with Luther." Five nodded.

"Now, if we were talking about mom, she'd absolutely love it and I know that to be true." Diego pointed at Vanya, "She'd be making cross-stitch little decorations to hang up on the wall everywhere!" He held his hands out. "Oh I can agree with that!" Klaus finger-gunned Diego.

"What would you name the cafe?" Allison asked Vanya.

Vanya shrugged, "I don't know, I'll figure that out if I ever get that cafe." She rubbed her hands through her hair and smiled. "Got a new dream huh?" Luther looked at her.

"Dreams are good to have, you have a goal to work to." Five flipped another page of his book.

"I guess." Diego nodded.

"And once you complete that goal, you go for another." Ben said, handful of cereal.

"Yep! Ben's right, as usual." Klaus winked.

So from that day forward, Vanya dreamed of her cafe.
