Hmm, can't think of anything to say at the start of this chapter. I guess all I should say is that I'm starving and could really stuff my stomach with food right about now.
"Here you go IA, a whip." Fukase handed it to her.
"So, you chose this out of all the other things we had why?" IA asked.
"It wasn't an easy decision in any way, but I just really want to see a lashing." Fukase grinned.
"My boy." IA was proud.
IA came towards Rin.
"A whip? You're getting less and less creative now." Rin smirked.
"Regardless of how plain this is, it's gonna be as painful as anything else." IA said.
"Don't you wanna untie me for this? Afterall, lashings are the most painful on the back, and my back is blocked by the chair." It was obvious that Rin was trying to escape.
"You want to be untied? It's adorable that you still haven't given up on the escape attempts," IA smiled "oh well, it's worth the risk."
"Wait, really?" Fukase was surprised.
"Yes, untie her Fukase." IA ordered.
"You really think that'll work in our favour." Fukase didn't understood.
"I do, now untie her." IA had made herself clear.
Fukase approached to the back of the chair and untied the ropes, Rin was free now.
"I'm gonna destroy you!" Rin went to attack IA.
IA simply punched Rin's face really hard and Rin dropped on the ground face-first "As expected, your body was too beaten up to actually put up a fight."
"I hate you so much." Rin said as she laid in pain.
"Fukase, put your foot on her lower back." IA ordered him.
"As you say." Fukase put his foot on her lower back.
"Well then, let's begin." IA started lashing Rin's upper back with the whip.
Rin screamed with each lash, she was truly dealing with malicious people.
"Alright, so the truck has stopped, this is indeed the proper time to get out." Gumi said.
"Can you lift me up to the way out?" The boy requested.
"Get on my shoulders." The boy got on Gumi's shoulders, and escapted from the truck.
"My turn." Gumi said.
Gumi got out of the truck "So what now detective ma'am?"
"I'm just gonna have to find that teal-haired killer soon." Gumi told the boy.
"Did that kid just called you a detective?" A man from behind said to Gumi.
"Who the hell are you and what do you want?" Gumi asked the man.
"Answer me, are you a detective or not?" He asked with a more aggressive tone this time.
"Yes, what of it?" Gumi answered.
"You said you were looking for someone with teal-haired." He said.
Gumi realized that he could actually be helpful "Continue."
"I saw a teal-haired lady driving and she just drove that way." He pointed his finger that way.
"Thanks! Let's go kid!" Gumi and the boy were ready to follow Miku.
"I don't know why, but I'm getting this gut feeling that we're being followed." Miku said.
"Any reason for that?" Len asked.
"As I said, it's just a gut feeling." Miku told him.
"Right... regardless, can I really trust you about this whole 'not killing anyone' thing?" Len asked.
"No." Miku answered.
"I admire your honesty." Len smiled.
"It's just how I am." Miku said.
"If it were Kaito or Meiko they'd lie to please me." Len told her.
"How are these two like? Are they really as nice as you say they are?" Miku wondered.
"Kaito and Meiko are simultaneously both the equivalent to parents and the equivalent to older twin siblings I never knew I wanted." He said.
"I'd really like to meet these two." Miku had always wanted older siblings.
Big AL was just walking in circles in the junkyard with tension overwhelming his mind.
"This is concerning boss, the hitwoman should have called us back and given us the news of the brother's death by now." Ken said.
"Exactly Ken, I have no clue why she hasn't called us back yet." Big AL was getting worried for plans.
"I think you should call her." Ken recommended.
"I think I should." Big AL picked up his phone and called Miku.
"Hello, are you there Miku." Big AL called.
...
"My phone is ringing." Miku told Len.
"Pick it up." Len said.
"It's probably Big AL." Miku warned him.
"Lie to him that you've killed me." Len suggested.
"I'm on it." Miku agreed that this was the best approach to take.
Miku picked up the phone.
"Yes AL, I'm here." Miku answered.
...
"Why haven't we gotten an update yet?" AL asked.
"Don't worry, I got him! He's gone, I just stopped at a food vendor because it looked delicious." Miku lied.
"That's perfectly fine, I'll always be ready to hire you whenever needed." Big AL smiled.
"Great to hear it man." Miku was reliefed.
Both of them hung up the phone.
"If I get injured you better pay my bills because I really wish I wasn't doing this." Miku was frustrated.
"Don't worry, I'm sure if I beg and plead from Kaito and Meiko they'll listen." Len said cheerfully.
Miku really wish she was more like this one blond boy she just met today.
After 37 lashes, IA had had enough. She was sure that this wasn't gonna make Rin surrender either.
"You're tough, that much I should've known the day we first met." IA said to Rin.
"Maybe there are people who would, but I'm not letting any kinda pain work with the person who took my parents away from me!" Rin yelled.
"Perhaps I underestimated that aspect of you, whatever it is, you won't be able to resist The Rack." IA said.
"The Rack!" Fukase was shocked.
"The Rack?" Rin was confused.
"Yes, The Rack, that's what we're going to be using on you." IA said.
"IA, we've never used that before, if we're not careful enough she could die." Fukase warned her.
"Oh we're going to be as careful as possible." IA wasn't showing, but she was laughing maniacly in her head.
Hey look, I managed to publish this chapter in less than a month. That's a rare W on my end.
