Author's Note:

There has been a lot of issues with the fanfiction site lately — I haven't been receiving some reviews or emails and according to my viewing chart, despite the fact that multiple people have reviewed the last four chapters, it says not a single person has viewed it. I don't know what's going on, but I am hoping it will be fixed soon. I know it was down completely yesterday so who honestly knows? I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, but I have been continuing to post weekly both on fanfiction and on Ao3.

I expected a huge drop off in reviews for the epilogues as I figured most people wouldn't care about them after chapter 30 wrapped everything up, but I am hoping this fanfiction issue is why the drops were so much. But as I always say, I write for myself first and while I love and treasure every single review I receive, even if it's only one per chapter, I obviously would love to see some more.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to those of you still reading and thank you even more to those of you find the time to leave me a review.

THANK YOU!

Reviews and Comments: To minerdude: Thank you! I usually just click on the recent chapter and answer the reviews from there however fanfiction has been giving me lots of problems lately. The last four chapters have reviews on them but apparently not a single person has viewed them so I don't know what's going on there. Thank you! To Sets: Yes, Luna brought Rolf to the wedding, though technically they were both invited already lol. Thank you! To Tmrpotterhead250: I'm glad you've been waiting on Luna and Rolf and I really hope it didn't disappoint. Rolf is so sweet and exactly what Luna needs. Them bonding over the Quibbler was just something I thought was too cute to pass up. Making Pandora an Ollivander was fun and just clicked for me as making sense. Harry should definitely hex Channing but Luna never told him as she just assumed it was something wrong with her (wrongfully as there is absolutely nothing wrong with Luna). I love them travelling together and then realizing they are both invited to the same wedding. Harry being overprotective of Luna is just something I love so much and her making him his family tree was just something I really wanted to do. We never found out what Newt and Tina's son was named but being named after Jacob makes the most sense to me. Having Xander and Thea show up to help Rolf after recognizing from him Harry and Ginny's wedding was fun to add in. Of course Rolf found a loophole, he's just like his grandpa. Thanks for loving that Ares was the one who wanted to stick with Rolf and who showed remorse. Thank you very much for saying Luna and Rolf were well worth the wait. I find Luna very difficult to write so I'm happy to hear I did it justice. Thank you very much!

To scrappy8: Thank you! Luna definitely got her guy and the wedding was so very Luna. Thank you! To mandanickless: Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed my little Luna epilogue and yes, they deserve a little girl too! Thank you very much! To Zeerius fangirl: I don't know any betas available right now as I currently don't even have one, but when you post the first chapter you can always put a note at the top asking for betas. A lot of reviewers are willing to help. Fanfiction also has a beta list if you search their site, you can find someone that way. Thank you very much for thinking this chapter "was one of the sweetest and most luna-like chapters in this story." Thank you very much! To Cristina: Thank you! I find Luna very difficult to write so I'm always so honoured when someone says I get her right. I love them following their dreams together and making time for each other and thank you for thinking Xara Pandora is a beautiful name (I agree). Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. I have no plans after this story is finished except a much needed break, but we'll see where the future leads. Thank you very much! To Briar Potter: Sorry, I just reply to whatever review name appears. Thank you very much! All family trees relevant to each chapter will be posted at the end of each chapter including birthdays. Thank you! To akshutalankar: Thank you for saying it was quite a rollercoaster. The wedding was beautiful and so very Luna so thank you for agreeing with me on that. Sorry to make you cry, but also thank you so much for crying. Thank you!

To Emma Janet: Colin and Rolf definitely bonded over their love of photography. I had to show some of the Fantastic Beasts storyline here to give a better description of Newt and Tina who were so fun to write. Not all of the epilogues will, but yes, you can count on something big happening for most of them. Luna and Hermione are much closer friends in my story and while Luna is friendly with Neville, their friendship more or less included them being each other's firsts. I think inviting them wasn't a priority for Luna and that Neville would understand. Thank you! To Ellieoryan7447: When I saw your name, I almost fainted in shock. Haha. Thank you so much for finding the time to leave me a lovely review. I definitely think Luna deserves to end up with someone who treats her the way she deserves to be treated. Having her experience the common issue of needing more foreplay and Rolf just not even remotely having an issue with it was important to me. I wanted Luna to meet someone and have him put her first for once n her life. I loved him getting embarrassed about his love of the Quibbler and then when Luna admits she loves it too and her dad is the editor, he's adorable. I love writing protective Harry when it comes to Luna and her gift to him of the family tree was just something I really wanted to do. Luna confiding in Ginny and making Harry blush was just a bonus. Of course Luna named her son after Harry and yes, Harry names his daughter after Luna — I just love that bond they have that's truly pure friendship. Thank you!

To Potterhead29: I love flabbergasted in a good way! Thank you! I love knowing you loved "the descriptions of Rolf's and Luna's emotions and feelings." Luna definitely go the happy ending she deserved. Thank you very much! To briana_t: Thank you! Luna and Rolf is exactly the kind of love story we all hope to find one day. Yes, Luna did recover, though it was close there. Thank you for loving them! To marauders_mowopapr: Fearing the worst was fair, but I'm sorry to make you sob towards the end. Thank you very much! To bandhoez9194: I'm so glad people were tense while Luna was in a critical state — that's what I wanted, to feel Rolf's fear of losing her. Of course Rolf saved the birds! I feel like if he did anything else, it would be so out of character for him and yes, it was definitely exactly what Luna would have wanted. Thank you very much! To Chafmushiman: Thank you! It's so nice to see Luna so happy and yes, it was the first time we've seen Luna's POV. I find Luna a very difficult character to write so I tend to avoid it. Having Rolf as a buffer made it easier. Thank you. Harry is so precious with his overprotectiveness of Luna, I agree. Thank you very much! To Tawny779: Thank you! Unfortunately, I don't think we will see a more thorough breakdown of the Sacred Twenty-Eight and the titles. Thank you though!

To Mrs_Norway: Thank you for saying this chapter was very Luna. She is a very difficult character to write so I am thankful people are thinking I did her well. I love your comments haha, but maybe Wrackspurts did get into my brain (or celtics534 mostly lol). Thank you very much! To MABK_Potter: Thank you! I love having Rolf just worship Luna. She was who he was waiting for without really realizing it. Glad I can keep you on your toes. Thank you very much! To Lizzy_i19: Thank you! I had the idea of Luna coming out of the sea naked for almost four years. I knew that was how I wanted them to meet because to me it was just so perfectly Luna. So it was a lot of fun teasing them almost meeting throughout ASC knowing it wouldn't happen yet. Rolf genuinely loving the Quibbler and being low-key embarrassed about it was something else I wanted. It wasn't just to impress her, it was just him. Thanks for loving the family tree, it was a lot of fun to put together. Thank you so much for being "completely enchanted by Luna and Rolf's story." Thank you! To katelyn453: Thank you for loving Luna and Rolf! Thank you! To corneliastreet_28: Thank you! To AQuickRead91: Thank you!

To todivya: I can understand you not wanting it to come to an end, but thank you for finally coming to read and review! Thank you so much for saying I just get Luna as I find her hard to write but that's how I see her, "so breezy but also badass." Ha, she does have the Chosen One as her own personal bouncer lol. Thank you very much for loving her story! To Hanacide: Thank you for saying the epilogues are everything you could have hoped for. Fanfiction is definitely having some problems with their site, but I am still posting weekly! Thank you very much! To Nuno Neves: Thank you! I'm so happy to hear you loved Luna and Rolf together and yes, Luna definitely found her own personal Harry in Rolf lol. Having Rolf meet Luna's dad in such an embarrassing situation and Luna being all nonchalant about it seemed right plus having her meet Newt and Tina was important to me. Thank you very much! To AnonymousHufflepuffWriter: Thank you very much for saying that I "really bring these characters to life and interconnect them well." I really do try my best. Thank you! To EnigmaticEmperor: Yes, Rolf and Luna have officially met lol. Luna saying "the sea of course" was just quintessentially Luna I had to write it. Channing wasn't a total dick, but yes, Luna just assumed because that was normal for her it was all right and now she knows it isn't. No, Luna and Rolf don't know that they both know Harry. Thanks for loving all of my Fantastic Beasts references (couldn't resist with Newt and Tina). I loved having Luna give Harry his family tree for his birthday. Thank you very much and I really hope you love Theo's epilogue as much as I do! Thank you!

PS — This epilogue picks up 4 months after the first Hinny epilogue.

My posting schedule: Weekly.

As always, thank you very much for reading and please, please review!

Your reviews give me life! They give me inspiration! And they make me want to keep writing for more than just myself! Thank you for all of your continued support!

CHAPTER THIRTY-THREE:
Kismet Trilogy Epilogues:
The One With Theo's Epilogue:
Part One

April 2004…

Harry placed his son carefully into Theo's arms and Theo held his breath. There were enough Weasley babies around that it wasn't like he'd never held a baby before, but it always surprised him how incredibly tiny they were. He looked down at the dark head of hair peeking out of the blankets with a sigh.

"Hi, James. I'm your Uncle Theo."

James Sirius Potter yawned at him in response.

"He's perfect," Theo said, beaming at Harry and Ginny.

James was only three days old and Theo could see that his friends had that overly happy, moony-eyed look of excitement and also that look of new parents being both a bit terrified and tired. James' hair was as dark as Harry's already but Theo swore he saw a hint of a brownish red in the light.

"He is, isn't he?" Ginny said, leaning into Harry when he put his arm around her. "I can't believe we made him."

"Me neither," Harry admitted, turning to kiss his wife.

Sebastian leaned down to look closer at James. "He's beautiful. Congrats, Mum and Dad."

Theo handed James over to Sebastian to snuggle, touching James' sweet little cheek as he did. "Your turn, Uncle Bas."

Ginny smiled. "He's going to be so spoiled."

"Big time," Harry agreed. "First born grandson… Molly's so excited she could burst."

"I'm surprised that she's not here actually," Ginny admitted. "She's been a blessing and a hindrance."

Harry chuckled, taking his wife's hand and kissing her fingers. "She's just trying to help. But mostly she wants to see her first grandson."

Sebastian brushed his thumb over James' sweet lips. "Aren't your brothers both expecting boys this year too?"

"Yes," Ginny said. "Angelina and Fiadh are both due in August. I'm glad as it means that all of our boys will all go to Hogwarts together. I love the idea of them being friends."

They took turns holding James until he decided he was hungry. Theo passed him back to Ginny who carefully held him in her arms. He watched as Harry helped her open her shirt and a moment later, James was latched onto her breast. Harry draped a baby blanket over her shoulder for a bit of modesty and kissed her forehead. Theo felt like he was intruding on a perfect moment between them.

Sebastian must have felt the same because he cleared his throat. "Well, Theo and I have to be going, but thank you for letting us come over to meet our new nephew."

"Of course," Harry said. "You're always welcome anytime."

They each kissed Ginny's cheek and Harry walked them to the door. As they arrived back at Norfolk Manor, Theo looked up at the house, a smile on his face. He loved looking up at the centuries old home and knowing that's what it finally was — a home. He and Sebastian had made it their home and it was warm, inviting, and perfect.

His favourite part was that Sebastian had helped him turn some of the old manor into his office and Theo thought it was one of the best decisions he'd ever made.

After working for almost two years as an apprentice mind healer, meaning that he always had someone monitoring him and someone to discuss his methods and cases with, he was finally on his own. He spent his first year working out of the fourth floor of St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies in the Mind Healing Ward before deciding to open his own small practice right here in Norfolk Manor. He had been terrified that he would fail, but with all of the support from his friends and from Sebastian, it turned out to be one of the best decisions of his life.

Norfolk Manor had always been a huge home and Theo knew that there was just too much space for his and Sebastian's little family. After discussing it with Sebastian, they decided to use some of the abandoned section of the manor and turn it into his offices. They made a separate entrance in the back by the ballroom where an unused parlour and two other rooms that were really just used for storage or wasted space. They did some redesigning, turning the space into five new rooms with a small half-bath to be used as offices.

The back door led into a warm and inviting waiting room which Sebastian had helped him decorate. They painted the walls a soft blue and found four eighteenth century bergère chairs in silver and dark blue and Theo accented them with bright yellow and silver striped throw pillows. A beautiful eighteenth century coffee table made of walnut finished off the room with tall Tiffany lamps. Theo asked Dean Thomas to help him decorate the walls with art and Dean provided huge paintings of giraffes, elephants, zouwus, dragons, and other magical creatures doing things like blowing bubble gum and holding umbrellas under a shower of stars. Theo found an old broken grand piano and they took it apart and hung it on the wall, using it as a bookshelf which they filled with children's stories, puzzles, and games. The wall on the other side was full of more shelves, this one made from old ladders, with more puzzles, building blocks, and other things for children to play with. The small bathroom was off to the right next to a beautiful fleur de lis rene writing desk that was hand-carved with stylized gryphons and ornate filigree scrollwork. The other three rooms were all being used as private offices.

But the best decision he'd made concerning his new office was hiring Esmerelda, one of his house elves to work as his secretary. At first, Esmerelda had been against it, insisting that it was a witch or wizard's job. But with the help of Hermione, they convinced her that it would be something she should consider and Esmerelda loved every minute of welcoming people to the office, setting up appointments, and keeping Theo and his new office in order.

It had almost been three years since he'd opened his own practice which he named Healing Hearts & Minds. Greg Goyle built him a beautiful hand-carved wooden sign with his company name in big gold letters and beneath in small script, a quote by Albus Dumbledore which read: Words are our most inexhaustible source of magic. Capable of both inflicting injury, and remedying it. He even hired a second mind healer to work with him, his first official mind healer-in-training, Julian Norton.

Theo had kept in touch with the Slytherin over the years and when Julian expressed an interest in becoming a mind healer, Theo was only too happy to help. Now, fresh from the academy, Julian was his newest hire, working under his tutelage along with another healer at St Mungo's until he finished his formal training.

Sebastian took his hand in his and pulled him into his arms for a warm hug when they stepped into their home, pulling Theo from his thoughts. "They look happy, don't they?"

"Almost disgustingly so," Theo agreed. "I'm so happy for them. And now we have a new nephew to spoil!"

Sebastian chuckled. "That we do."

They headed into the living room to take a seat and Theo curled into his boyfriend's side, linking his fingers with his. "Can we go shopping this Saturday? You're not working, right? We have to find a wedding gift for Draco and Astoria and I don't know what to get them."

"I think this Saturday works," Sebastian said, running his hand up and down Theo's arm. "Another wedding… it's a like a pandemic."

Theo chuckled. "I like weddings."

Sebastian kissed the top of his head, bringing him closer. "Do you want that, baby?"

"Hmm?" Theo asked, snuggling closer into the warmth of his boyfriend's embrace.

"The whole wedding thing," Sebastian said, making Theo pull away to look at him in surprise.

"Do I want… to get married?"

Sebastian nodded. "I was just… is that something you ever think about?"

Theo bit his bottom lip. "Considering how often your mother brings it up, are you telling me you don't?"

He shrugged, looking uncomfortable. "I don't not think about it. It's just… when Maman first started hinting at it, it was too soon, you know? We'd barely realized we were mad about each other and then we didn't even realize that we were living together and… the handful of years I've been with you… they've been the best years of my life."

"Mine too," Theo replied, snuggling back into his side.

Sebastian continued to run his fingers up and down Theo's arm in silence until Theo spoke.

"I think I'd want the whole wedding thing."

Sebastian's lips curved into a smile as he tilted Theo's head up to look at him. "Yeah?"

"I love you, Sebastian," Theo said. "I know Sadira is always teasing us and asking us when we're going to get married and I'm not in any kind of rush. We've never talked about marriage and… most of the time, I already feel like we kind of are already married."

"Me too," he admitted. "Being with you is all I've ever wanted. But if you wanted the whole big wedding thing, we should do that one day."

Theo smiled. "One day sounds nice."

"Yeah," Sebastian grinned. "It does."

"Do you ever think about the other thing?"

"The other what?" Sebastian asked.

"Babies. Starting a family," Theo whispered.

Sebastian's free hand touched Theo's chin and tilted it to look up at him. "Sometimes. Do you?"

Theo nodded. "Sometimes."

Sebastian kissed his forehead. "I think that I'd very much like to have a family with you someday. A few children running around. I think that I'd make a pretty good dad."

"You'd make a great dad," Theo told him. "I think I want kids someday too."

Sebastian's lips brushed his temple again. "But?"

"No buts," Theo said. "I want that future someday. But not quite yet, you know? I don't think I'm ready for the kid thing. Some days I feel ancient, but I'm only going to be twenty-five and you're going to be twenty-eight and… not just yet."

"Me neither," Sebastian admitted. "But one day, I think I would. We already started a family together with Oliver, Arlo, and Armani," he said, reaching out to brush Theo's hair off of his forehead. "I know that no matter what, I want to spend the rest of my life with you, Theo."

Theo's eyes softened. "I know that, Auror Arsehole. I'm not letting you go."

He chuckled. "Going to kidnap me if I try to leave?"

"Nah. I'd just use your own handcuffs and tie you to the bed."

Sebastian grinned. "You're stuck with me, too, baby. You're my forever and as long as you're in my life, I'll be happy. Would I like to maybe have kids some day? I think I would, yeah. Would I like to get married someday? Sure. But having you in my life is way more important to me than any of that."

Theo's brown eyes met his. "Bas… I love you so much. But someday… kids would be kind of great and scary… Sometimes I think I'd make terrible father because of how I was raised and…"

"You won't."

"Bas —"

"— You won't," he interrupted again. "Theo, you have the biggest heart of anyone I've ever met. Look at all of the people who love you. You've created your own family with the Weasleys, Draco, Blaise, and me. You're an uncle to Aydin, Felicity, Finley, Victoire, Molly Anna, Forest, Dominique, Piper, Amara, Felix, and now James. We have two more nephews on the way. You work with children."

Theo bit his lip. "But that's not the same. My family was… they weren't nice people, not really."

"Your real parents were," Sebastian said. "They loved you very much."

Theo let his head fall onto Sebastian's shoulder. "I do want to make a family with you some day, Bas. We're pretty great kitty daddies and I love that, but maybe we can make it more one day."

"I'd like that, too." He stroked his fingers through Theo's hair as he spoke. "I want to grow old with you."

"I want that too," Theo whispered.

Sebastian smiled. "I love you, Theo."

Theo turned to kiss his boyfriend. "I love you."

Sebastian pulled him close, his lips meeting his, and Theo knew that this man was his future and he couldn't wait to live it with him wherever their lives took them.

~ KE: Theo I ~

September 2004…

Theo was smiling when he watched the six-year-old-girl leave his office. Her name was Katie and her mum had been killed in an Apparition incident. The woman had unfortunately been drunk and decided to Apparate under the influence. She had splinched herself so badly that she'd died before the healers were able to get to her. Poor little Katie had seen the whole thing.

Her father owned a pub in Devon and he was doing everything he could to keep his daughter on track, but for the last two months, the nightmares had been more than he could handle. After seeing Katie three times a week for the last month, Theo finally felt like they'd made some kind of progress and it absolutely warmed him from the inside out.

Katie Dearborn was the sweetest little girl and Theo loved listening to her talk and hearing about her day and her dreams. She missed her mum something fierce and Theo was helping her to understand that she'd died in an unfortunate accident that had nothing to do with Katie; that her mum of course didn't want to leave her, but that she didn't have a choice.

Seeing the little girl make progress with her grief was a good thing. If things still looked like they were going well after the end of next week, he would talk to Mr Derek Dearborn about changing their meetings to once a week. Just knowing that he was doing a little good made Theo know that he had chosen the right job.

Julian gave him a bright smile when Katie left. "You have a big smile. Did it go well?"

"Very well," Theo said. "Sometimes progress is hard to see so when you see a little light, it's a good thing. She's doing very well. How did it go with Gus today?"

Julian wrinkled his nose. He was working with an eight-year-old-boy named Augustus Rose who had been orphaned during the war. He'd bounced around to some different foster homes before finally finding a family six months ago. He was sullen and often hard to bring out of his shell and his new parents were worried about him.

"He's doing all right, I think. It's hard to get him to talk, but he finally admitted that he's afraid his new parents will send him away," Julian said.

"That's a hard one," Theo said. "Fear of abandonment is common in children who've been through what he has. How are the new parents?"

"Committed to showing him that he belongs with them," Julian replied. "They went on a family holiday last weekend, a little cottage by the water. Gus told me they went fishing and roasted marshmallows and sang songs. He lit up when he talked about them and told Myra he loved her. He said she cried and he thought it was weird."

Theo grinned. "Merlin, kids are so adorable! That's great progress, Julian! What did MH Harrison say afterwards?"

"Harrison thinks that I'm progressing well and that I'll be able to take my final test in three months. Theo… having backup from you and Harrison is reassuring, you know? After I take my test…"

Theo bumped his shoulder into Julian's with a smile. "Mind healing isn't an exact science, Julian. If you're not sure you're doing something right, ask. I can't wait until you're here full time with me."

"Me neither," Julian said. "Thank you again for giving me this opportunity."

"Don't thank me yet," Theo teased. "I'm pretty excited to pass off some of my workload."

Julian chuckled. "I'll take that too. Are you heading home?"

"I am. You should head out too. I'll see you tomorrow. Great job today."

Theo sent Julian on his way before he finished up the last bit of his paperwork. He said goodnight to Esmerelda and urged her to go home. Esmerelda had married Basil last year, Harry's house elf, and the two of them were living in a small cottage on the property of Clevedon Court. Basil ran the Potter properties and with Esmerelda working as Theo's secretary, they were working on their first child. Theo thought they were adorable. Clove worked on all of the Norfolk properties, keeping Theo informed and in shape on the Norfolk assets and assisted Theo with a lot of the finances and the running of the Norfolk properties while Kiki insisted on working for Theo and Sebastian as the head elf. She was around to keep the manor clean, to get groceries, and to keep them fed four days a week. Theo insisted she take the other three for herself which at first had been difficult, but with the new house elf laws, Kiki was slowly coming to agree to the new terms (even if it was grudgingly).

Tonight was one of her nights off, so he scooped up Arlo (who tended to come to work with him most days), locked up the door to his office and headed around to the front of the manor to go home. He headed into the living room and when he didn't find his boyfriend, he made his way upstairs to the master bedroom. Arlo took off when he spotted Armani. Theo chuckled and headed into his walk-in to find something more comfortable to wear. He'd just stripped down to his silk boy shorts (navy blue today) when Sebastian came in.

His boyfriend caught sight of his attire and two seconds later, Theo had his legs wrapped around Sebastian's waist as his Auror snogged him into oblivion.

"Hi," Theo said against Sebastian's lips.

"Hi," Sebastian replied, moving his hands down to cup Theo's bottom. "You just get home?"

"Uh-huh. Kiss me again."

Sebastian did before he brushed his nose against his. "How was your day?"

"Wonderful," Theo said. "I think I finally made a breakthrough with Katie."

"Yeah? The six-year-old?"

Theo nodded. He couldn't share specifics with Sebastian or anyone about his patients, but he had spoken to his boyfriend more than once about how hard it was for him to get through to this one.

"She really opened up and I don't know… it just felt right, Bas. It felt amazing."

"I love that big heart of yours."

"I love this big cock of yours."

Sebastian snorted. "I thought we were having a moment?"

Theo grinned. "We are. Julian did great today, too. Bas, he's going to be such a great mind healer! After everything he went through and losing his two best friends in the Battle of Hogwarts, he's really come through. I know it's only been a few months, but I love having him there."

"I'm glad you finally found someone to work with you."

"I know that I had a few applicants, but so few people are interested in only working with the young and those that were… I just didn't feel that connection, you know? Maybe after Julian's settled we'll find a third, but it's not like I can't afford to run Healing Hearts & Minds myself."

"And you're doing it brilliantly, might I add."

Theo pecked Sebastian's nose. "Thank you. I'm going to change and then we should find something for dinner. Kiki's off tonight."

"How about we toss together some pasta and chicken? We've mostly mastered that."

"Sounds perfect," Theo said. "You'll have to put me down though."

Sebastian kneaded his hands over Theo's silk covered arse. "Well, that's a shame."

He lowered him to the ground and Theo turned to find a pair of sweats to put on. Sebastian scooped them out of his hands and tossed them behind him.

"Bas!"

He grinned. "I didn't agree to letting you put on clothes."

Theo's lips twitched. "I'm not going to help you make dinner in only my drawers."

Sebastian's thumb tugged on the waistband of the boy shorts. "I'd be more than happy to remove them for you."

"I bet you would," Theo said, moving out of his reach and pulling on a thick jumper. "After you feed me, I just might let you."

He sauntered off to grab the sweats that Sebastian had tossed and shimmied into them, wiggling his butt as he did.

"Hurry up, Auror Arsehole. I want to hear all about your day while we play with our fur babies and then I believe you left this morning with a promise to rim me," he said, shaking his bottom in Sebastian's direction again. "See you downstairs."

Sebastian watched him saunter off and thought sometimes it really gripped him by the throat how much he loved him. It wasn't only the sex, though after over five years together, it certainly hadn't waned. They might not be as crazed for each other, but Sebastian certainly still wanted his hands all over his man as often as possible. He loved touching him, shagging him, kissing him, sucking him, rimming him, and Merlin knew that when Theo used that mouth on him, he was a goner. They'd built a life together here and they'd talked vaguely of the future. Oliver, Arlo, and Armani, their three cats, were the family they'd made. But Sebastian knew that Theo wanted more one day and frankly, so did he.

It was about time he did something about it.

~ KE: Theo I ~

It took Sebastian a week to work it out, but he finally managed to set up a time to meet Soraya one afternoon. His sister was working in Afghanistan now, but she took a portkey back to England when he told her what he needed. The moment she saw him, her face lit up and she threw herself into his arms.

"I can't believe you're finally doing this!"

"Me neither," Sebastian admitted, hugging her back. "Thanks for coming."

"No way was I missing this!" Soraya exclaimed. "Let's go! Tell me everything you're looking for!"

Sebastian grimaced. "I don't have a bloody clue. I just know that I want him to have something special, you know? Something that's… him."

Soraya nodded, looking pensive. "Agreed. Theo's traditional and yet not. He'll definitely want a bit of bling and pizazz."

"There's a few places I know to look, but… well, we both kind of like vintage things."

"Let's check in with that antiques dealer you like in Manchester to start."

Sebastian squeezed his sister's arm in reassurance and they headed out to start hunting for an engagement ring. They went to six different shops until they found it and Sebastian knew that he was driving his sister up the wall with his non committal responses on what he liked and didn't like. The problem was, he truly didn't know what he was looking for. He just knew that when he saw it, he would know.

And he did.

The ring was a thin band of yellow gold with three beautiful diamond shaped inlets on the band each with a circular stone in the centre. The two outer ones contained diamonds, but the middle stone was a circular peridot. It leaned more towards a deeper green than usual and he stared at it for a full minute before he pointed to it.

"Can I see this one please?"

Soraya immediately hurried over, her eyes finding the ring. "Oh, that's lovely, Bastian!"

The man behind the counter cleared his throat as he spoke. "This ring is from the nineteenth century. The style is —"

"I want it," he said, cutting the man off.

Soraya made a little squeal before he contained herself. "Sorry, I'm just so excited! The ring is beautiful, Sebastian."

He held it between his fingers, staring at the stones on the ring. "Peridot is not only my birthstone, but we first met in August. I was snarky and he called me Auror Arsehole."

"Have I mentioned how much I love him?"

His lips curved. "Yeah, yeah, more than me and if I break his heart, you're keeping him as a brother."

"And don't you forget it," she said, poking him in the chest.

"Would you like anything engraved on it, Sir?"

Sebastian started to say no before he paused, his eyes on the ring. "Yes. I know just the right words."

They left twenty minutes later, the ring in a dark green velvet box in his pocket and Soraya grinning like a fool.

"So, when are you going to ask him?"

"Soon," he promised. "There's just a few things I need to do and you, keep your mouth shut."

Soraya mimed zipping her lips. He took her back to the portkey office, promising to keep her updated. Then he glanced at his watch to check the time, he had another stop he needed to make before he went home.

He arrived at Clevedon Court a few minutes later and knocked on the front door. Harry opened it with James asleep on his shoulder and placed a finger over his lips.

"He only just fell asleep," he whispered.

Sebastian nodded and followed Harry into the house, his eyes on the five-month-old baby sleeping peacefully curled up on his father's shoulder. Harry and Ginny were both completely smitten with little James. He had Harry's dark hair, but unlike his father's, James' hair had hints of brownish red in the light, and he had Ginny's warm brown eyes. Sebastian closed the door behind him and left his shoes by the door as he watched Harry head upstairs to put his son in the nursery, gesturing to the living room as he went.

Sebastian made his way into the living room and found Ginny using her wand to clean up the baby toys that had accumulated on the rug. She smiled warmly when she saw him.

"Bas! What a lovely surprise!"

"Hi, Ginny. Sorry to drop by unannounced."

"Oh, not at all," Ginny said, waving him off and gesturing for him to take a seat. "You're always welcome. Where's Theo?"

"At home I expect," Sebastian said, sitting down. "I was hoping to get your help with something."

Ginny gave him a curious look as she sat down across from him. "Oh?"

"It's Theo's birthday in a few weeks and I need for you to distract him for an afternoon."

"What kind of distraction?" Ginny asked.

"Ideally, I'd like him to be out of the manor for a few hours so that I can prepare my surprise."

Ginny lifted an eyebrow. "Are you going to share this surprise?"

"What surprise?" Harry asked, stepping into the room. "Jamie's out like a light."

"Good," Ginny said. "Hopefully he'll sleep at least two hours. Sebastian was just asking me to get Theo out of the house for a few hours."

"Why? Is something the matter with him?"

"No," Sebastian said. "He's great. He's more than great, actually. Having Julian Norton come to work for him was a great idea and the two of them are doing brilliantly together. No, I just want to… bloody hell," he mumbled, reaching into his pocket. He pulled out the ring box and flipped it open. "I want to give him this."

Ginny's eyes widened to saucers and she let out a squeal. "Oh my gods! Is that what I think it is?"

"If you think that it's an engagement ring, then yes," Sebastian said. "Soraya helped me shop for it and… do you think that he'll like it?"

Ginny stared down at the ring as she nodded. "Bas, he's going to love it! It's beautiful. And about bloody time, might I add!"

He blushed. "I know. My mum's been hinting for years. We haven't been in a rush and… seeing you and Harry start a family and watching Draco marry Astoria this summer… he's my world. I want to marry him, Ginny."

Ginny blinked back tears as she reached for Harry's hand. "It's perfect! How can I help?"

Sebastian closed the ring box and tucked it back into his pocket. "I want to do it at home. I have a few ideas, but mostly I need time to set it up uninterrupted. Can you maybe get him out of the house one Saturday for the afternoon or something?"

"Gin, didn't Theo get you that spa package when Jamie was born?" Harry asked. "Why don't the two of you use it together and go for a massage and whatever else? I'll make Ron come over and help me with Jamie."

"Oh, that would be good," Ginny agreed. "We can make a whole afternoon out of it and get facials and manicures and pedicures… maybe even a whole day. He would love it."

"Thank you," Sebastian told her. "Set it up and let me know. And please don't say anything to him. I want to surprise him."

Ginny smiled. "I won't say a word, but Bas?"

"Yeah?"

"I know you love him and I know that he loves you, but it's my duty as his best friend to tell you that if you botch this up or hurt his heart, I will make you regret it."

"Between you and your six brothers, I've got that owl."

Harry chuckled. "Good because we love Theo and trust me, Auror or not, you won't want to come up against this one."

He started to laugh, but the look on Ginny's face made him swallow it. "Noted. I love him, Ginny."

"I know," Ginny said. "He's going to say yes."

Sebastian couldn't keep the smile off of his face when he left Clevedon Court and started plotting how he was going to propose to the man he loved.

He hoped Ginny picked a Saturday soon because he couldn't wait to ask Theo to marry him.

~ KE: Theo I ~

17th October 2004…

Theo was grinning when he stepped into Norfolk. He'd had a great day of shopping and gossip and relaxation and he was feeling very happy. Ginny had taken him out on an early birthday celebration which included facials, a full body wrap and massage as well as manicures and pedicures. His body felt completely relaxed and he'd even found a little something in Sophistication by Pansy that he'd decided to wear home to surprise his boyfriend.

When he found the living room empty he frowned, until he saw the gold dust rise up from the table and point itself into an arrow towards the stairs. Intrigued, he headed up towards the bedroom and found the hall lined in floating candles. When he pushed open the bedroom door, his eyes fell on the hundreds of floating candles lighting up the room. There were two glasses of champagne in flutes on the table next to a bucket full of ice with a bottle of Veuve Clicquot sitting next to a vase full of bright flowers.

But it was Sebastian who caught his eye.

He was standing in the middle of the room in black silk pyjama bottoms, shirtless but wearing the gold bow tie that Theo had bought him around his neck.

"Bas... what is all this? First Ginny and now... you know my birthday isn't for four more days, right?"

Sebastian nodded as Theo walked to stand in front of him. "I know. This isn't entirely for your birthday."

Theo lifted an eyebrow as Sebastian took his hands in his. "Then what?"

"I love you."

Theo's eyes softened. "I know. I love you, too. I especially love when I come home to find you partially dressed."

Sebastian chuckled. "Theo… you're the most amazing man l've ever met. The moment I set eyes on you, something shifted in here," he said, rubbing his hand over his heart. "I felt it turn over and I knew that my life was about to change. I knew that I loved you before I met you. I know that I took my time telling you that fact, but I think part of me recognized part of you at first sight."

"Bas…"

"You're just the most incredible human l've ever met. You're kind and warm. You're flirty and courageous. You're bold and crass. You're not afraid to speak out and I love how invested you are in your work. Both in the Wizengamot and with the kids you talk too. Everyone who knows you has their life bettered because of it. And me, knowing you love me, Theo, it's a gift that keeps giving and I will never not be thankful for it. I love you. I love you more than I can possibly express and I don't want to be without you. Not ever. I want this. I want us, always."

He knelt down on one knee as he pulled a ring box from his pocket.

Theo gasped, his eyes widening.

"Theo, will you —"

"YES!"

Sebastian's lips curved. "You didn't even let me ask you."

"Right, sorry," Theo said. "Try again."

"Will you —"

"YES!" he squealed, biting his bottom lip. "Sorry. One more time, l'll be quiet, I swear."

Sebastian beamed at him. "Will you marry —"

"YES!" Theo shouted, falling to his knees in front of Sebastian to kiss him. "A million times yes!"

Sebastian kissed him back fervently. "You know, I had a plan here. I didn't even get to show you the ring."

Theo kissed him, speaking in between his kisses. "Don't care. More kissing."

Instead, Sebastian pulled him up against him and dragged his tongue over his throat, running it over his Adam's apple and Theo trembled.

"Be my husband."

"I will. Yes."

"Be my partner."

"Yes."

"Be my sex slave."

Theo's eyes twinkled. "Nuh-uh, that's your job as Lord Norfolk."

Sebastian's eyes widened to saucers. "What? Norfolk? No! That's you!"

Theo nipped at his lips, his fingers tracing Sebastian's abs. "Yes, but when we marry, you'll be my marquess like Ginny is Harry's marchioness therefore you'll be Norfolk too. Ooh, I might like calling you lord."

Sebastian opened the ring box. "I don't want to be a fucking lord."

"No backsies," Theo teased, wiggling his hand. "Put the ring on."

Sebastian slid the ring onto his finger, his blue eyes lighting up. "If the ring's not what you imagined, we can pick another."

"I love you. It's perfect."

"You didn't even look at it!"

"I don't have to," Theo told him. "I trust you with everything, Sebastian. I can't wait to make you mine.

"I am yours," he whispered. "I've been yours from the moment you called me Auror Arsehole."

"Sebastian?"

"Yeah?"

"You'll always be my Auror Arsehole."

Sebastian cupped his face in his hands and kissed him deeply. Theo let his fingers slide back into his hair, playing with the short hairs at the nape of his neck and losing himself in those soft lips. The rough scrape of stubble against his skin only made him reach for him more.

They undressed each other slowly, their lips never leaving each other. When Sebastian pulled down Theo's trousers and found the bright green silk and lace arse-less boy shorts, he licked his lips.

"Bloody hell… these are…"

"Sexy?" Theo supplied.

"Sexy doesn't quite apply," Sebastian groaned, kneading his bare cheeks. He rolled Theo over and whimpered. "Fuck me, your arse is work of art."

"Going to do something about it?" he teased.

The feel of Sebastian's palm spanking him made him squeal before Sebastian's lips moved to kiss away the sting. More kisses followed, peppering over every inch of his arse except where he wanted him most. He made a mewling sound and Sebastian finally spread his cheeks apart, kissing his way down the crease.

"Bas…"

"Mmm," he murmured before his tongue began to work him open.

Theo's fingers dug into the thick carpet beneath him and he wondered not for the first time how his man was so bloody good at eating his arse. His own cock was rock hard and definitely ruining his new lingerie. He tried to hump the carpet for friction, but Sebastian's hand covered him, holding him in place. His head was spinning from pleasure, his spine tingling and by the time Sebastian worked a finger inside of him, he was more than ready.

He wiggled away from him, rolling onto his back and wagged his finger. "Enough of that, Auror Arsehole. I want a turn."

He pulled down the tight boxer shorts his boyfriend favoured and licked his lips at the sight before him. Then he was pushing Sebastian back onto the carpet to work his own magic. He kissed and licked his length, teasing the head with quick sucks before taking him down his throat. Sebastian's fingers dug into his hair as he moaned and Theo relished in every taste of his man's desire. He pulled his mouth off to work on his balls, sucking and teasing before moving lower and licked his hole.

Sebastian's head fell back and his legs parted further to give him more access; his legs slid up to plant his feet on the carpet. Theo licked him again, dancing around the edge before he finally twirled his tongue inside and Sebastian trembled. That tremble made Theo feel more powerful than he could ever put into words. The complete trust that Sebastian gave him in moments like this… it meant everything.

By the time he added two fingers, Sebastian was panting for him and he yanked his boy shorts down just enough to free his cock before he slowly sank into him. Sebastian groaned, his hands reaching back to squeeze Theo's arse.

"More," he murmured. "More, baby."

Theo didn't deny him. He pushed all the way in and they both gasped. When he began to move, Sebastian's fingers slid back into Theo's arse.

"Fuck," Theo groaned. "Bas…"

Sebastian used his free hand to pull Theo's mouth back to his and kissed him greedily. "You feel so bloody good, Theo. So bloody… nrgh!"

Theo slowed his pace, working himself in and out of Sebastian in a steady rhythm designed to drive them both mad. Sebastian's fingers began to move faster and when Theo felt his spine tingling, he shook his head.

"I'm not going to last, Bas," he warned. "I'm…"

Sebastian added a third finger and it sent him over the edge. His hands reached for Sebastian's cock as he came, driving into him again and again as the orgasm tore through him. He'd barely finished coming before Sebastian flipped them over, locking Theo's legs around his waist, and slipped deeply inside of Theo.

"Oh, fuck!" Theo gasped. "Yes! Oh, yes!"

Sebastian filled him in the way that only he could, thrusting deeper and faster with every move. Theo dragged his thumbs over Sebastian's nipples, rubbing and teasing them as he watched his man bite his bottom lip, trying to hold back his orgasm. Theo wasn't having that, so he shifted and tugged a nipple between his teeth. Sebastian roared as he came, shuddering as he spilled himself again and again inside of Theo.

When he finished, he rolled onto his back, pulling Theo with him and kissing his forehead.

"Merlin, I will never tire of that."

Theo chuckled against his chest, playing with his nipple until Sebastian covered his hand with his. "You better not. As my future husband I expect lots of sex from my sex slave."

Sebastian grinned. "I'll put it in my vows."

Theo kissed the centre of his chest before he held his hand up to admire the ring. It was only now that he really took note of it, the gold and the diamonds and the centre stone. It was beautiful and as he looked down at the peridot stone, his eyes softened.

"The month we met."

Sebastian nodded, kissing his fingers. "It felt right when I saw it. There's words on the inside."

Theo looked down at the ring, carefully sliding it off of his finger to look at the engraving. Tears filled his eyes when he read: I knew I loved you before I met you.

"Sebastian…"

"I love you, Theodore Nott. I love you a little more every day and I can't wait to start this next chapter with you."

"We're going to be husbands," Theo whispered.

"We're going to be everything," he whispered back. "You're my everything."

Theo slid the ring back into place and then kissed Sebastian's mouth. "It's perfect, Sebastian."

"It just felt right," he repeated.

"You feel right buried in my arse," Theo teased.

"That hole is mine," he growled, kissing Theo's fingers again. "I'm going to tattoo my name on it. This hole, this arse, this man, is the property of Sebastian Christopher Kane."

He loved when his man got possessive. "Bas, it's yours. I'm yours and you know it."

"I know," he whispered, kissing Theo softly. "So, looks like we have a wedding to plan."

Theo grinned. "I have so many ideas!"

Sebastian chuckled. "Why does that not surprise me?" He kissed him before he brushed his lips over his. "Why don't we drink this champagne and you can tell me all about it before you suck me off?"

Theo licked his lips and sat up, hurrying towards the champagne flutes. He handed one to Sebastian and took the other in his hand before he realized his boyfriend — no, fiancé — was staring at his arse. When he looked down he realized that he was still wearing his arse-less boy shorts, cock hanging out. He laughed and kicked them off, leaving him naked and winked.

"Let's talk wedding plans and then after I suck you off, I'll put these back on for you."

Sebastian clinked his glass with Theo's and grinned. "Deal."

January, 2005…

Theo was snuggling Arlo and Oliver in his lap, different fabrics tossed around him as he tried to decide on which shade of purple he liked best for their women to wear in their wedding. He'd already picked out what he and Sebastian were going to wear with Blaise's help. It sometimes surprised him how incredibly amazing Blaise Zabini was when it came to fashion.

Blaise had dragged Theo to some shop in Paris a month after Theo had told him about his engagement. Blaise introduced him to some fashion designer who designed them each the most beautiful wedding robes. Theo had an idea of what Sebastian was wearing, but his fiancé wouldn't let him see the final result.

"No. I want you to be surprised when you see me so that you can be just as overwhelmed by how good I look as I'll be when I see you," Sebastian teased, pecking his lips.

Theo agreed (albeit reluctantly), but they did both agree on the colour purple for their wedding party. The problem was finding the right shade that suited them and their party. The wedding plans were coming together quickly and since they'd both decided to get married this September, Theo felt like it was approaching quicker and quicker each month and he still hadn't made the right decisions. He looked up when Sebastian came in and Theo rolled his eyes when Armani immediately meowed and hurried over to him.

"He loves you more than me," Theo whined.

Sebastian chuckled, scooping Armani up into his arms before he bent to kiss Theo. "Says the man who has two cats curled up on his lap."

Theo waved him off and held up a swatch of fabric. "Too dark?"

"Yes," Sebastian said, sitting next to him. "Violet would be lovely."

"I know," Theo said, wrinkling his nose. "I just can't find the perfect shade."

"We will," he assured him, kissing his cheek. "Since you're in wedding mode, there was something that I wanted to talk with you about."

"You don't want to marry me anymore?" Theo demanded, his voice coming out a bit higher than normal.

Sebastian raised an eyebrow. "I literally just told you I like violet."

"Don't scare me! I'm stressed!" Theo said, swatting him playfully.

Sebastian shook his head in amusement. "I wanted to talk to you about, well, about our names."

Theo turned to look at his fiancé, his eyes widening in surprise. "Our names?"

He nodded, reaching out to touch Theo's hand. "Yeah. I know that it's not a necessary thing to change our names, but I think that we should at least talk about it. I know there's a lot of… issues with your surname. A lot of animosity and well, your family name hasn't always meant good things, but you've changed that, baby. I think you've made the name Nott something to be proud of."

"I have," Theo agreed. "Being a Nott is… but you're the last Kane, Sebastian. Selene changed her name to DeRose and if Soraya marries, she'll probably change her name, too."

"I am," he replied. "But I would be honoured to become Sebastian Nott if that's what you desire."

Theo's brown eyes softened. "I'd be happy to be Theodore Kane if that's what you desire."

Sebastian leaned in to kiss him softly. "I love you. Let's talk about this. For real."

Theo let out a slow breath. "All right. Let's start with my name: Nott is an old pureblood name that has held a lot of power over the centuries. It was the Nott family that was given the title Marquess of Norfolk. However, over the last century, the family name became tinted with dark magic and well… not very good people, but… I'm the last Nott."

"You are," Sebastian said. "A child created out of love between your mother and father, a forbidden romance."

"And a romance that only gives me the title of Norfolk because Thaddeus Nott claimed me as his son and heir," Theo added. "And you?"

He shrugged. "I love my name. I've always loved being a Kane and as the only son, I'm most likely the only one left to carry on the name. Auntie Dee never had any children and as you said, Selene took on DeRose, but you never know what Soraya will do. I don't even know if she wants to get married some day."

"The surname Nott has been associated with Norfolk for centuries," Theo said.

"It has," Sebastian agreed. "And what happens with that title after we marry?"

"I've looked into that," Theo admitted. "I was going to wait and tell you after it was ready to go to council, which won't be for a few more weeks, but Hermione and Blaise helped me draft a bill for the Wizengamot to vote upon. As a same-sex couple, technically any children we have won't be able to inherit the title. The law has never changed in that regard. If this bill passes, and I do think it will, any children we have will be entitled to the Norfolk name."

Sebastian's eyes widened in surprise. "Really?"

He nodded. "I've made Norfolk into something good, Bas. I don't want to see anyone tarnish it again."

"They won't," he whispered, kissing his palm. "Children… I do want those with you, but not right away, yeah? I want some time to worship my husband properly first."

"Same," Theo said. "We'll have to rechristen the house as husbands to make it official."

"Definitely," Sebastian agreed. "And your office."

Theo grinned. "I like the way you think."

The cats gave them looks of annoyance when they moved closer and jumped down from the sofa. Theo crawled into Sebastian's lap, linking his arms around his neck.

"We should practice."

"Lots of practicing," Sebastian agreed.

"We can start with your cock in my mouth," Theo said, kissing Sebastian's throat as he slid his hands down his chest to undo his trousers. "I'll take my time. Draw out every ragged breath."

Sebastian kissed his forehead. "Fuck, baby."

Theo grinned and slowly slid down to his knees. "Take out your cock for me, Bas."

"No, no, no!" Draco's voice rose up from the doorway. "No one wants to see that!"

Theo jumped to his feet at the sight of Draco and his wife, Astoria. "Draco! Astoria! I might have forgotten that you said you were coming by!"

"We noticed," Draco said, eyeing the fabric swatches everywhere. "Wedding colours? Purple, really?"

"We happen to like purple," Sebastian said, leaning back on the sofa as he fixed his trousers. "And you'll look great in purple, Draco."

Draco shrugged. "I look great in everything." He passed Theo the bottle of white wine he'd brought. "You can do things to your man after we leave."

Theo's lips twitched. "Cockblocker."

Draco chuckled as Theo summoned glasses and poured them all glasses of the white wine.

Astoria smiled warmly at them. "Was that what you two were doing, working on wedding plans?"

"Mostly," Theo said. "Then we were talking about whose last name we should take or if we should keep our own. We never actually made a decision."

Draco lifted a perfectly quaffed eyebrow. "Why don't you just hyphenate? Sebastian and Theodore Kane-Nott?"

Theo and Sebastian exchanged a look.

"I didn't think of that," Theo admitted.

"Me neither," Sebastian said. "Hyphenating could work, but it does run into problems once we have children. Doesn't it?"

"How so?" Astoria asked. "They would share both of your names equally. And yes hyphenating can be annoying, but both of your names are short four letters so it wouldn't be a big deal at all. I agree with Draco, Kane-Nott sounds lovely. Nott-Kane really wouldn't work the same as it sounds like someone is claiming you are not a Kane."

Theo grinned. "Kane-Nott… Theo Kane-Nott… Bas Kane-Nott…"

"I like it," Sebastian said, putting his arm around Theo's shoulders and pulling him close. "And it would mean I could still be Auror K at work."

"Auror KN," Theo corrected. "People have to know you belong with me."

Sebastian grinned. "We belong with each other."

"Yes," Theo whispered. "Let's do it, Sebastian, let's hyphenate."

"Let's hyphenate," Sebastian agreed before he brought his mouth to his.

The kiss went on just long enough for Draco to loudly clear his throat.

"You do remember that we're still here, don't you?"

"Leave them, Draco. They're in love," Astoria said.

Theo reluctantly stopped kissing his fiancé. "Why do you have to ruin all of my fun, Draco? I could be naked right now and spread out for Bas to —"

"All right!" Draco exclaimed, loudly interrupting. "I get the picture. And you're the one who invited us over."

Astoria chuckled. "He's just annoyed because he wanted to stay home doing exactly that before I reminded him that you invited us to dinner in the first place."

Draco gave his wife an annoyed look as Theo grinned.

"Can't say I blame him," Theo teased before he turned to smile at his fiancé. "Bas, let's do it; let's be the Kane-Notts."

Sebastian smiled and pecked Theo's lips once more. "Yes."

Draco cleared his throat. "So, what's with all of the purple swatches?"

"We're trying to find the perfect shade of purple," Theo said. "We both love violet, but finding the right colour among the right fabric is annoying. What do you think of this one?"

Astoria reached out to touch it before she wrinkled her nose. "Too scratchy. You want them to be comfortable."

"Yeah," Theo sighed. "I know, but that's the closest I could find to the right colour."

"Have you spoken to my sister? She always finds the fabrics for Pansy and she can get deals from all over."

Theo shook his head. "No, I haven't. I didn't even think about that because Pansy makes lingerie, but she would have access to different fabrics! I want a bit of tulle, but otherwise I want the dress to be soft and shimmery. I want Ginny and Yeona to just look even more amazing than they already do."

"They will," Astoria assured him. "I have no doubt that your wedding will be wonderful."

Sebastian linked his fingers with Theo's and brought their joined hands to his mouth. "Yeah, it will be."

May 2005…

Theo smiled at Harry when he returned from putting James to bed. Ginny had a late match tonight; one of the last of the season. Sebastian was working out of the country some place that Theo didn't know and would hopefully be home within the next few days. Hermione was working late, so Harry had invited Theo and Ron over for the evening for drinks.

"Jamie's asleep," Harry said as Ron passed him a beer.

"He's a good baby," Ron said. "You and Ginny lucked out."

"We did," Harry agreed. "Are you and Hermione getting excited?"

"I can't believe that you're having a baby," Theo said, turning to look at Ron. "Everyone is having kids nowadays."

Harry smiled. "You and Sebastian will be next."

Theo grinned. "One day, but not yet."

Harry shifted on the chesterfield and Theo's eyes automatically moved to him. He couldn't help it. Whenever they were around Clevedon Court, Harry tended to wear just sweats or lounge trousers. Today he had on grey sweats and a Holyhead Harpies tee shirt and Theo thought it really wasn't fair how good looking the man was. He pulled off sexy and handsome despite clearly being tired and exhausted from having a one-year-old.

"How's the wedding planning going?" Ron asked.

"Good," Theo said, tearing his eyes away from Harry. "Really good. Sadira's been helping, but since it's going to be at Norfolk, a lot is already taken care of. Bas and I are going for fittings on our robes in two weeks. He still won't let me see his."

"That's probably for the best," Ron said. "Trust me, the surprise of seeing Hermione walking towards me… priceless."

Theo remembered the look of complete awe on Ron's face when he'd seen Hermione walking towards him. "I know. I want that for me and for him, but I'm also really, really curious."

Ron chuckled. "You're almost the last of us to tie the knot. Other than Seamus and Dean."

"Yeah, I don't know if they will ever decide on that," Harry said. "They're happy though so that's all that matters."

"True," Ron said. "Now Hermione and I are having a baby in a few months… it's just madness."

Theo chuckled. "Get ready for some big changes. I heard babies mess up your sex life. Look at Harry here, I bet between little Jamie and Ginny being back at work, no one's touched his big, beautiful cock in ages. I'd offer to help out, but he always turns me down," he teased, winking.

Harry and Ron exchanged a look before Harry put his beer down. "All right, fine."

Ron snorted and leaned back in his seat, wiggling his eyebrows at Harry.

"Fine, what?" Theo asked, looking between Harry and Ron with trepidation. Whenever the two of them shared a look like that it always made him nervous. The two of them communicated in unspoken words way more than they should.

"You're right, Theo," Harry admitted as he stood up and stretched his arms up over his head. "Babies do change things. Our sex life hasn't been as strong as it was because we're tired when we go to bed at night." He used his thumbs to tug his sweats down half an inch before he gestured towards Theo. "Well? Are you going to come over here and kneel or what?"

"Kneel… what?" Theo exclaimed, his eyes shooting up to Harry's.

Harry quirked an eyebrow. "Does kneeling not work for you? Did you have another position in mind? Thought you wanted to help out by blowing me?"

Theo stared, his eyes wide in astonishment; his mouth opening and closing like a gaping fish.

Ron grinned and leaned back in his seat. "He's waiting."

Theo spluttered, looking between Harry and Ron in shock before Harry lowered his sweats half an inch more, revealing a bit of dark hair. Theo actually felt his palms starting to sweat.

What in Salazar's soggy shoes was happening?

Harry wasn't actually asking him to…

Then he caught the glint in Harry's eye and his own eyes narrowed.

"Harry James Potter!" Theo exclaimed, his cheeks flushing crimson. "How dare you! I'm a taken man!"

Harry snorted and pulled his sweats back up to sit low on his hips. "You owe me five Galleons, Ron."

Theo looked between where they were high-fiving each other. "You… you played me!"

Harry shrugged. "Yeah, but your face was definitely worth it. And hey, babies do change things, but Gin and I make it work."

Theo pouted. "I hate you. Both of you."

Ron lifted his beer towards Theo. "Serves you right for always offering to blow us."

"I should have knelt and taken it a step further," Theo insisted.

Harry chuckled. "No, you shouldn't have. You're all talk, Theo. I know how much you love and cherish Ginny. You would never in a million years do anything to hurt her."

"Of course I wouldn't!" Theo exclaimed. "And if you ever cheat on her, I will tie that big beautiful cock of yours into a bow and then chop it off with manicure scissors."

Harry winced. "Well, that turned dark quickly."

Ron snorted. "It's cute that Theo thinks Ginny would leave him anything left if that happened."

"I would never cheat on her," Harry said. "So it's not necessary to send me threats. Ron's the one who bet me five Galleons that I wouldn't actually ask you to blow me."

"Ronald!" Theo exclaimed dramatically. "I thought we were friends."

Ron grinned. "We are and you flirt a little too much with your friends."

"Do not!"

"Do too," Harry said with a chuckle. "But the thing is, we don't mind because you're all talk. You love your man and you're faithful and loyal to him. I can say from experience that that's the sexiest thing in the world. Bas is a lucky man."

Theo's cheeks heated again. "Does this mean that I can't flirt outrageously with you anymore, lover?"

Harry's lips twitched. "Nah. I rather enjoy that."

"I knew it!" Ron exclaimed, his eyes widening. "You never flirt with me like that."

"Are you jealous?" Theo asked him.

"Yes," Ron said making Theo cackle.

Harry rolled his eyes. "You're both ridiculous."

But when Theo returned home that night, he couldn't stop thinking about how they'd played him. He found Sebastian cleaning his teeth in the bathroom when he walked in and he moved behind him, wrapping his arms around his waist and resting his cheek against his back.

"You're home!"

Sebastian finished up before he wiped his mouth and turned, snuggling Theo against his bare chest. "I am. Thirty minutes only. You all right?"

Theo nodded. "Yeah… Harry and Ron played a mean trick on me."

Sebastian frowned. "What kind of trick? Do I need to go pummel them for you?"

Theo smiled at that before he quickly explained what happened and Sebastian snorted. "It's not funny!"

Sebastian kissed the bridge of his nose. "Do you have any idea how much I love you, Theodore soon-to-be Kane-Nott?"

His eyes softened. "I'm annoyed. You're not allowed to butter me up by being sweet."

He slid his hands up Theo's arms, a soft smile on his lips. "I love you. Sometimes I think it's impossible for me to love you as much as I do and then I see you a few hours later and I swear I love you even more than I did before. I love that you're a big flirt. I love that the male friends in your life flirt back with you. I love that you're loyal to everyone you meet. Loyal to me. Faithful."

"You make me sound like a dog," he pouted.

"You can definitely be a really good boy," Sebastian teased, making Theo's cheeks heat. "The thing is, the fact that Harry knew if he said that to you that nothing would happen tells me more about your relationship with him than anything ever could. That's a level of trust that is truly earned, baby. I know that you would never stray. I like knowing that I'm… enough for you."

Theo's eyes softened. "Bas… you're everything to me! I always joke that I'd like to sleep with Harry because he's handsome and kind and sexy, but he's not you. You're the only man I've ever truly wanted. Flirting with Harry is easy because I know that he would never go there with me. I would never hurt Ginny like that. Harry would never hurt Ginny like that and most importantly, I would never hurt you like that by…" He shook his head. "Thank you for trusting me."

Sebastian kissed his forehead. "Thank you for trusting me."

Theo slid his hands down to cup Sebastian's arse. "You know, all of that teasing though. It did make me very… thirsty."

"Oh?" Sebastian asked, quirking an eyebrow. "Did it now?"

Theo nodded. "It did. I definitely want something in my mouth."

"Like what?" Sebastian asked.

Theo licked his lips. "I'm sure you can think of something."

Sebastian's finger slid between Theo's lips and he suckled it slowly and sensually in a way that Sebastian felt between his legs. He pulled his finger out of Theo's mouth and took his hand.

"Come to bed."

Theo followed his man with a big smile on his face.

9th August 2005…

Theo couldn't stop smiling. He was getting married in just one month and one day and as he hammered out the last few details of the wedding plans, he was humming under his breath. He was going to marry the man of his dreams and he couldn't wait.

Their wedding suits had been picked up by Kiki and were hidden away. The bridesmaid dresses and the dress robes for the men had been picked up. Kiki was helping with the details on the catering order and Hannah had sent him an owl earlier in the week with a final sketch of their wedding cake.

It was going to be the most perfect day and he couldn't wait. The tenth of September really couldn't come soon enough.

Theo closed up the office for the day and wished a good night to Esmerelda and to Julian. Once they were both gone, he turned to lock the door and headed around the house to the front, enjoying the warmth of the August sunshine. He'd just stepped around the to the front of the manor when Kiki met him at the door.

"Good evening, Kiki," Theo said.

"Master Theo, there's an Auror here to see you," Kiki said, gesturing behind him.

Theo lifted an eyebrow in question. Kiki usually said the Aurors by name which made him wonder if it was someone she didn't know. When he turned around he saw the tall man walking towards him with a reddish brown beard and he frowned.

"Auror MacGregor, to what do I owe the pleasure?" Theo asked, offering a small baffled smile to the man.

Ian MacGregor, Head Auror of the Secret Intelligence Agency as well as the Knight Commander of the Knight of the Auror (but that was top secret and Theo didn't officially know that), stopped in front of Theo, his lips pursed.

"Lord Norfolk, sorry to intrude upon your evening," MacGregor said, his voice grim.

Theo frowned. "Sebastian's on a mission."

"Yes, that's why I'm here," MacGregor said. "Perhaps we can go inside?"

Ice filtered through Theo's veins and he reached behind him to grab the doorframe of the front door as he shook his head. "W-w-what are you doing here?"

MacGregor pursed his lips. "Lord Norfolk… Theo, Auror K has missed his last two check-ins. I'm afraid he's—"

Theo shook his head. "No! No! He's not dead. He's not dead! We're getting married next month… he can't be dead!"

MacGregor reached out to grip Theo's shoulders. "Theo! He's missing in action," he said sternly. "I have no evidence that he's dead. Do you understand?"

Theo's bottom lip trembled as he took in MacGregor's words. "M-m-missing? What do you mean m-m-missing?"

"Yes. K didn't check in last night or this morning. No one has seen or heard from him in over eighteen hours," MacGregor explained. "I have a rescue team heading out to find him. I will bring him home."

"Where is he? What was he doing?"

"I'm afraid that's classified information," MacGregor said. "All I can tell you right now is that he's considered to be officially missing in action and that a team is going to be searching for him. When I know more, I will let you know."

When MacGregor left, Theo was shaking as he stumbled into the manor, collapsing against the front doors with tears in his eyes as he realized one thing that MacGregor hadn't said: He'd never promised to bring him home alive.

~ KE: Theo I ~

Theo didn't know how long he cried, but when he heard familiar voices, he sat up, using his shirt to wipe at his tears. He attempted to stand, but his whole body felt heavy and when he looked up, Ginny came into the living room. She took one look at him and rushed towards him, pulling him into her arms.

"Theo," she whispered, kissing his forehead.

The softness of her voice had the tears coming all over again.

"What are you doing here?" Theo murmured, clinging tighter to Ginny.

"Kiki came to get me," Ginny told him. "Harry's with Jamie. I sent word to Draco and Blaise."

"Ginny… what if he doesn't come back? What if he's dead already? We're supposed to get married in thirty-one days and he's…"

"You would know, Theo. You would know if he's dead. You'd feel it, in here," she told him, placing a hand over his heart. "Do you feel that?"

Theo's bottom lip trembled. "I'm scared. I… I can't lose him."

"MacGregor said that a team is going to be looking for him, right? You have to trust them to do their job. I know it's scary, but you can do this."

He sniffed, rubbing his palms over his cheeks and under his eyes. "I… I have to call Spencer and Sadira. They'll need to know…"

Ginny pulled out her mirror. "Hi. I need a favour."

"Of course. How is he?" Harry's voice said from the communication mirror.

"As you'd expect," Ginny said. "I need to know if Bas' parents have been informed."

"On it," Harry said, disappearing from the mirror.

Theo sniffled again and Ginny wrapped her arms around him.

"I'm not going anywhere," she promised.

Theo snuggled himself into her embrace, his heart pounding in his chest as tears continued to rain down his cheeks. Ten minutes later, Ginny's mirror vibrated and she swiped it open revealing Harry's face as he held James in his arms.

"MacGregor told them. I couldn't get anything else as it's classified," Harry said. "They'll find him, Theo. MacGregor said a rescue team has already been dispatched to track his last known location."

"Did they say where?"

Harry shook his head. "No, I'm sorry. It's classified information and they wouldn't tell me anything more."

Theo nodded as Ginny thanked him and put the mirror away. "I… I have to go to them, to his parents."

Ginny kissed his cheek and held her hand out to pull him to his feet. "All right. Want me to come with?"

Theo shook his head, pulling her back into his arms. "No. I… I should do this alone. I'll be all right, chick. Thank you."

Ginny hugged him tightly. "I don't want you alone. If you don't stay with them tonight, you come to ours, all right?"

"Promise," he said, kissing her cheek.

When Ginny left, he rubbed his hands over his face again and told Kiki that he was heading out to Ireland. He barely found his shoes before Kiki informed him that Spencer and Sadira were at the front door. He met them in the entranceway and Spencer immediately grabbed his arm and pulled him tight against his chest.

"How are you holding up, son?"

Theo clutched the back of Spencer's shirt and a muffled sob escaped him. "I… I don't know! I was just about to come to you and… I don't know what to do."

Sadira wiggled her way into her husband's arms to wrap her arms around Theo as well. "Oh, mon rayon de soleil, no. There is nothing you can do. Come on, let's go sit."

Theo let Sebastian's parents lead him into the living room and the three of them sat on the sofa with Theo between them as Sadira pulled him against her breast. She smelt like a mum, he thought, like spices and fresh laundry and a bit like vanilla. It was comforting. Spencer ran his hand over Theo's back.

"Missing isn't dead, son," Spencer said. "He's been missing before."

"It happened on his second mission out of the country," Sadira whispered. "Of course, we have no idea what happened because it's all classified information; he was missing for over a week. But they found him, Theo. They found him and they brought him home. They have specially trained teams to deal with this kind of thing."

"He'll come home," Spencer assured them. "There's nothing that will keep my son away from marrying you next month, Theo. I know that with absolute certainty."

A startled laugh escaped Theo. "I don't think that's enough."

Sadira kissed the top of Theo's head. "Mon rayon de soleil, surely you must have noticed how stubborn our baby boy is, non?"

A smile tugged Theo's lips. "He is pretty stubborn."

"And brave," Spencer added. "He's very good at his job. We just have to trust him to come home."

Theo nodded, too afraid to admit that it wasn't Sebastian he didn't trust, it was wherever he was and whoever he was with.

"Durant and Yeona will find him," Sadira whispered. "I know it."

"Do you think that they're the rescue team?" Theo asked, his eyes hopeful.

"I don't know," Sadira said. "But I know that I trust those two with my son's life and if they aren't, they will find a way to get on the team to find him."

Arlo jumped up onto Theo's lap and he cuddled the cat close, taking comfort in the soft fur. Oliver joined in and Spencer stood up to help himself to a glass of whisky. Theo stared at Armani from across the room and wondered what the cat would do if Sebastian never came home.

Don't think that, he ordered himself. He's coming home. You won't lose him like you lost Finn. You won't lose him, too.

But part of him couldn't help the dark thoughts from creeping into his mind no matter how hard he tried to stop them.

~ KE: Theo I ~

Sebastian was trying to open his eyes, but he couldn't seem to get them to cooperate. His whole head was pounding and his limbs felt heavy. Ice cold water splashed his face, making everything sting sharply and harsh voices speaking a mixture of Russian, Arabic, and Mandarin had him trying to make sense of their words.

He tried to remember what he'd been doing. He had been in the city of Ulaanbaatar keeping an eye on a witch named Ekaterina Toruv who they were positive was behind a huge crime spree spreading across most of Eastern Europe and into Asia. It was believed that she was the one behind an organization that was promoting and organizing human trafficking, the trafficking of magical creatures, and a large hallucinogenic potion ring. The MIA based in Berlin had been asked to help the Russian Ministry of Magic and the Berlin office had reached out to Londonderry to get more assistance.

Sebastian, Durant, and Yeona had been assigned to the case with two Berlin Aurors to do surveillance and reconnaissance on Turov and some of her known associates. Sebastian remembered that he'd been following her in the city. She'd taken the train and he'd… what had he been doing?

Cold water splashed his face again and a deep voice spoke in Russian telling someone that their prisoner was awake. Half a second later, fingers pried his eyes open and he winced at the pain of it.

"His eye is swollen. How hard did you punch him?" The man speaking Russian asked.

Another man answered in the same language. "He put up a fight."

"Fix his eye. We're not going to get information if he's injured," the first man said.

"But we're just going to torture him anyway."

"Fix his eye! Let him think we're civilized first!"

There was some more shuffling and Sebastian was given a few moments of silence before a warm compress was pressed against his face. It wasn't long before a spell was cast that took the swelling down and he could open his eye naturally. He blinked at the dim light in the room around him, trying to take in his surroundings. The room looked like it was made of concrete, a bunker of some sort perhaps? He was sitting in an uncomfortable wooden chair with his hands cuffed behind his back.

"Much better," the first man said in broken English. "How are you, my friend?"

"Didn't know we were friends," Sebastian said, taking in the dark haired man before him. "What should I call my friend?"

"Vlad," he said with a half smile. "This is Ivan. It seems you found yourself in a situation." He tilted his head before asking in Russian if he spoke Russian.

Sebastian responded back in the same language that he did.

"Good," Vlad said. "This will make things easier. Why were you following us?"

"I wasn't," Sebastian said. "I've never seen you two before in my life."

Vlad smiled before he gestured to Ivan. Ivan gave Sebastian a look and then slammed his fist into his gut.

"Let's try that again, shall we? Why were you following us?"

"I wasn't," he repeated and was rewarded with another punch to the gut hard enough to knock the breath out of him.

"The third times the charm," Vlad said. "Why were you following us?"

"I wasn't," Sebastian repeated a third time.

Another punch to the gut before Ivan moved close enough for him to make his move. He kicked Ivan's feet out from under him and locked his legs around the man's neck before speaking in rapid Russian.

"Why are you so concerned that I was following you? Obviously there's something you're hiding if you're going to kidnap innocent people?"

Vlad scoffed. "You are not an innocent bystander, Auror K of Britain's Magical Intelligence Agency."

Sebastian tightened his grip around Ivan's neck with his legs, watching as the man began to turn purple. "Let me go or he dies."

Vlad gave an impersonal shrug. "Considering his situation, he has no use for me anymore."

Sebastian was slightly started at the casual indifference, but not enough to let up. He felt Ivan's air supply dwindle and when he passed out, he released his hold, watching him crumple to the floor in unconsciousness. Vlad snapped his fingers and half a second later, two huge burly men approached the chair. The one on the left picked up the entire chair with him in it and the other grabbed his handcuffed hands and yanked him to his feet, hooking the cuffs on the meat hook from the ceiling and leaving him dangling half a metre off of the floor with the chair just out of his reach.

"Now," Vlad said. "Let's try this again, shall we? Why were you following me, Auror K? The MIA has a nasty habit of butting their noses into other people's business so tell me, why were you following me."

"I wasn't," Sebastian said.

Vlad's lips twitched. "Narun."

The man who had hung him from the meat hook grabbed his right foot and flattened it onto the chair he shoved beneath him. Sebastian attempted to struggle but the man was much stronger than him and bile rose up in his throat when he saw the other man holding a meat mallet. He closed his eyes half a second before it slammed down over his baby toe, unable to hold back his scream.

"Why were you following me, Auror K?"

"I wasn't," Sebastian croaked.

The meat mallet came down on a second toe. He kept denying it again and again as each one of his toes was broken on his right foot.

"I don't like liars, Englishman," Vlad said. "You work for the MIA, we both know this. You cannot deceive me."

When he refused to answer, the other man who Vlad called Purev began to pull his mangled and cracked toenails off one by one. They left his mangled foot after the last toenail was removed and Vlad kicked the chair out from beneath his foot, leaving him dangling from the hook, blood dripping down his foot.

"All right. Rest a bit. Then we will talk again."

Narun dragged Ivan's unconscious body out of the room with them, leaving Sebastian alone in the bunker with nothing but one candle lit on the other side of the room. Tears prickled his eyes, but his eye hurt too much to let them fall. He needed to figure out a plan to get out of here.

And fast.

~ KE: Theo I ~

Four days passed and there was still no word on Sebastian. Hounding the MIA certainly didn't get him any answers and instead resulted in Ian MacGregor threatening to hold him hostage in his own home if he didn't stop coming in to bother them.

But Theo needed answers.

It was only twenty-eight more days until they were going to get married and his fiancé, the love of his life, was missing in action somewhere in Eastern Europe and he had absolutely no idea where he was or what he was doing or even if he was still alive. No, he told himself, he was alive. Ginny had been right about that, he would know if he wasn't.

But not knowing still made everything seem that much worse.

Theo knew things had taken a turn when he curled up on the sofa in the living room with a blanket (he couldn't bring himself to sleep in their bed) and Armani curled up against his shoulder.

"Armani?" Theo whispered.

The Tuxedo cat meowed and rubbed his little head against Theo's shoulder and tears welled up in Theo's eyes.

"No, no, you can't be like this," he murmured, pulling the cat into his arms. "I miss him too. He's going to come back. He has to come back."

Armani never left his side all night and when Theo woke in the morning his eyes were swollen from crying and he had three cats covering his body. Despite the sleep residue in his eyes, he barely felt like he'd slept at all.

"Theo," Julian said when he went into the office. "No. Esmerelda and I already rearranged all of your appointments for the rest of the week. Go home."

"I… Julian, I can't."

Julian pulled Theo into his arms. "You can't be here. You aren't in the right head space to be helping anyone right now. Go. We'll handle things here."

Going home wasn't an option so he found himself heading to Clevedon Court to see Ginny and James. Harry was at work, but Ginny welcomed him inside and then passed him the baby to hold. James' wide smile was enough to tug a smile out of his own lips as he sat on the living room floor, Eggsy and Bucky coming to keep him company.

Ginny sat on the sofa behind him and gently ran her fingers through his hair. "I can't imagine what you're going through, but you're being so brave, Theo. Why don't we keep working on the finishing touches for the wedding, keep your mind off of things?"

"How can I plan our wedding?" Theo whispered. "He's missing, Ginny."

Ginny pressed a kiss to the top of his head. "And when he gets home, you're going to marry him. Let's talk about your vows."

More tears escaped Theo's eyes and he held James' closer. "I won't survive it, chick."

"Theo…"

"No," he whispered. "I'm not saying that to be dramatic or to make a scene, I just know it. If I lose Bas after I lost Finn… I won't survive it. My heart won't bear it, Ginny."

Ginny slid down to the floor, pulling Theo into her arms. "You're not going to lose him, Theo. You won't."

But when another two days passed and there was still no word or no answers for him, he was starting to panic. His nights were full of nightmares. He imagined watching Sebastian die again and again and woke up drenched in sweat, tears on his cheeks, and his heart pounding in his throat. When he wasn't with Harry and Ginny, he was with Spencer and Sadira. Draco and Astoria came to stay with him for a night and so did Blaise. But none of them were a comfort to him. He needed answers and no one could provide them.

It was twenty-four days until the wedding and there was still no word.

~ KE: Theo I ~

One a scale of one to ten, Sebastian decided that spending your days being tortured was not a fun time. He would give it a zero out of ten and would definitely not recommend. The Russian Vlad was obviously the one in charge, and yet clearly wasn't as high up in Toruv's organization as he liked to believe he was. The man exuded a sense of inflated self worth. However, the two Mongolians who had been torturing him were also a lot more than just muscle, Sebastian just wasn't sure how much.

His refusal to talk was making Vlad even more furious. By the second day, they took him down from the meat hook and beat him bloody with their fists. He had bruised and cracked ribs and his whole body ached, but he'd learned things too.

Toruv was definitely the one pulling the strings. Sebastian had made it clear that he spoke Russian, but he didn't let on that he could also understand Arabic and Mandarin. It was the Mandarin that had caught his attention when he heard Narun mention a shipment that would be arriving on the coast of Vladivostok. From what Sebastian ascertained, the shipping container was full of new commodities from Australia and New Zealand. Sebastian was pretty positive that the "new commodities" involved a slew of magical creatures that were sold on the black market.

He listened attentively, trying to process as much information as he could and file it away for later and when they left him alone for the night, he tried to formulate an escape plan. By the third day, he thought that he had one.

He waited thirty minutes after they left him that night before he began. They'd tortured him with infrequent bouts of the Cruciatus Curse in between the beatings today and his whole body ached, but he tried to work through the pain as he swung himself back and forth on the hook, trying to jolt himself hard enough to get the cuff off of the hook. He struggled until he ran out of breath before he would take a break and try again.

When he finally crashed to the floor, elation tore through him half a second before the pain did. He laid on the concrete, his whole body aching, his mangled foot on fire. He caught his breath before he began to work on the handcuffs. He'd fallen directly onto his handcuffed hands and he was positive at least one finger (if not more) was broken, but he worked and shifted and worked and shifted, finally popping his shoulder out of joint with a muffled gasp of pain, until he finally managed to get the cuffs in front of him. It took a lot more shifting and bending and he bit his lip bloody to keep from screaming when his wrist cracked, but he managed to pull one hand free from the cuffs.

He didn't know how much time had passed, but he knew that he'd already taken much too long. He reached his somewhat working hand into his pocket to find his in case of emergency coin and tapped it for help before Sebastian dragged himself across the floor towards the door. Naturally it was locked, but he hoped his signal had gone out to his team before Vlad decided to kill him.

He closed his eyes and tried to picture Theo's big long-lashed warm, brown eyes. The way his brown hair was a little long on the top and how he could brush it over his ear. He pictured the sweet smile of his wide mouth, the freckles on his shoulders, the sound of his laugh.

"I'm coming home, baby," he whispered. "I'm coming home."

~ KE: Theo I ~

Durant was the first one to see the signal and he grabbed the coin out of his pocket immediately, causing Yeona to look at him. He used his wand to configure the location and gestured to the old building at the end of the block.

"Looks like we were right, J."

Jin frowned. "Except the place is guarded as heavily as the border between North and South Korea."

Durant snorted. "Slight exaggeration, but yeah, it's going to be a problem."

"Auror B and Auror A will need to know to provide backup," Jin said. "We don't know what we're walking into."

Durant nodded. Aurors Bauer and Albrecht were from the Berlin MIA and had been assigned to help them on the case. They were good Aurors, but Durant knew that he and J worked better together.

Everything about this investigation had taken a turn two days before Sebastian had gone missing. First the shipment their confidential informant had told them about hadn't shown. Then Toruv had led them on a wild goose chase from Moscow to Ulaanbaatar. Sebastian and Albrecht had been together watching Vlad talk to Toruv, along with two other men they didn't know, about what they thought was a new shipment coming in off the coast. Albrecht moved closer to try to get her surveillance spell close enough to hear them talking and Sebastian had disappeared. Albrecht claimed it had happened in seconds which worried Durant as Sebastian Kane was not as an easy person to pull one over on.

No, he trusted Bauer and Albrecht and he knew that they were decent Aurors, but he and Jin worked well together. They knew each other's moves inside and out and if they were going to bring Sebastian to safety, they needed a team that could read each other well.

"Let them know, but either way, only you and I are going in," Durant said. "With Toruv on the move and heading into China, we need to get Bas out and find out what he's learned."

Jin rolled her eyes. "Obviously. We need to get him out of there first."

"We will," Durant said.

"As long as they think he knows something, he's alive," Jin said as if she needed to hear the reassurance. "It's been nine days, D. We're taking him home to marry Theo. I won't accept anything else."

Durant nodded again. "All right, let's talk game plan. How are we going to get past the guards and warding?"

Jin licked her lips, pulling out her ominoculars to look closer. "Very carefully."

~ KE: Theo I ~

When Vlad found him lying on the floor with only one hand cuffed the next morning, the Russian pursed his lips and ordered Narun and Purev to beat him again. They pounded a nail through the palm of his right hand and he screamed as Vlad twisted it viciously while he demanded answers as to what the MIA was doing following him.

The sound of an explosion outside was the only thing that stopped them from putting a nail into his other hand. Vlad ordered Narun and Purev to leave and when the door burst open a few moments later, Sebastian was shackled to the floor with his palm nailed to a chair as Vlad held a wand to his throat.

"One more step and he dies," Vlad said as Sebastian's eyes met Durant's from across the room.

"That would suck since we went through all this trouble of coming to rescue him and all," Durant said. "You've found yourself in a bit of a pickle, haven't you, Vlad?"

The Russian looked unsure and Durant kept talking.

"We both know you work for Toruv and we both know that you're only one part of the operation; probably not even a big part. So you have two choices: Let my man go and cooperate with us or you'll be charged with all of it while Toruv will get away with making you the scapegoat."

Vlad looked unsure and his wand twitched against Sebastian's throat at the same time that a black wren flew through the room and took the wand from his wand. Then Durant had him on the floor and handcuffed behind his back as he told him his rights. Yeona transformed back into herself and used her wand to break the shackles holding Sebastian in place and then she grimaced at the sight of his mangled hand under the nail.

Sebastian took a deep breath before he gripped the nail with his bloody fingers and pulled it out with a loud cry. His attempt to stand had him collapsing to his knees.

"J, you take the prisoner," Durant said, grabbing Sebastian by the shoulders and half carrying him from the bunker.

Jin headed out first with Vlad handcuffed and Durant slowly walked Sebastian out of the bunker and to the stairs leading out.

"You look like shit," Durant said. "Smell nasty too."

"Thanks, arsehole," Sebastian replied. "Next time I'm being brutally tortured, I'll try to have better hygiene."

"Yeah, do that," Durant teased.

They stepped onto the bottom step leading towards the stairs and Sebastian grunted.

"He went too easily, D," Sebastian said.

"What?"

"Vlad," Sebastian continued. "He went too easily. He sent his minions somewhere before you showed up and… something's not right."

"J's got him, K. We'll figure out the Toruv thing after. Right now, we need to get you to a healer. I'm going to have to levitate you up."

"Fuck you, I can make it," Sebastian hissed.

"K, stop trying to be a bloody hero. Let me levitate you up there."

Sebastian started to protest before he shook his head. Durant was right. He was only going to injure himself more by insisting on walking up the stairs himself, clinging to Durant as he could barely stand on his own. He nodded his agreement just as a shout erupted from up the stairs, followed by a whoosh sound and then the whole place exploded with a deafening blast.

~ KE: Theo I ~

Theo woke up, his heart pounding in his chest and a sense of dread settling upon him. He didn't know what woke him, but he knew that it was a bad feeling that he couldn't shake. He reached for Armani when the cat moved into his lap automatically, comforted by the cats around him.

When the Floo lit up the living room, alerting him to an incoming call, he scrambled to his feet, almost following off of the sofa to answer it, hoping for answers. But the sight of MacGregor's weary face made him freeze.

"Auror M?"

"No," he said before Theo could ask. "He's still missing. However, the rescue team we sent in has also gone missing. The Berlin office is sending more Aurors to help find out what happened."

"The rescue… no," Theo whispered, shaking his head back and forth. "No. No! No!"

"Theo," MacGregor said carefully. "I know that you're worried, but we will find him. That's the most I can update you, all right?"

"Can you at least tell me where he was?" Theo asked. "What country he's even in?"

MacGregor shook his head. "I'm afraid that I can't do that as it's classified information. Try to get some rest. When I know something more, I'll let you know."

He disappeared from the fire with a pop and Theo leaned back on his ankles, not feeling any better. He wasn't sure how long he sat there before he scrambled to his feet to get dressed. Then he grabbed his wand and Disapparated to Clevedon Court, not caring that it was barely four in the morning.

Harry opened the door in low slung pyjama bottoms and bleary eyes. "Theo? You all right?"

Theo shook his head as he pushed his way inside. "No. No, it's not all right. Nothing is all right! He's still bloody missing, Harry! He's missing and no one will tell me a bloody thing about where he even was or what he was doing or even what bloody country he's in! And now the team sent in to rescue him are missing too and no one even knows what's going on and I'm freaking out. I'm freaking out! Something bad happened, Harry. Something bad happened and I don't know what to do!"

"Shh," Harry said, pulling him into his arms. "All right, come on."

Harry led him into the kitchen where he scooped him a large bowl of ice cream and then sat down across from him at the kitchen island with his own bowl.

"Let's look at this objectively, all right," Harry began, gesturing for Theo to try the ice cream. "We know that he was on a mission in where you said you believe was somewhere in Eastern Europe, right?"

Theo nodded. "I think so, but everything is so top secret and Bas couldn't tell me for sure and MacGregor certainly isn't sharing that information."

"That's part of the Magical Intelligence Agency, Theo. Everything is top secret for a reason."

"Well, it's shit," Theo exclaimed, poking at the ice cream in his bowl.

Harry made a sound of agreement before he continued. "It's been ten days since he was declared missing and now you're telling me that the team sent to find him have also gone missing, correct?"

"Yes."

"And you don't know what he was working on?"

Theo shook his head. "No. I just told you! Everything he does is top secret and classified and… no."

Harry licked ice cream off of his spoon as he looked pensive. "All right. I have a confession to make. I've been doing some digging to try to figure out what the SIU was working on."

"You have?" Theo asked, his eyes wide in surprise.

Harry nodded. "Yeah. I know how worried you've been and I wanted to try to help and I did find out a few things. There's a rather large crime hub that's building somewhere between Russia and Mongolia. People and magical creatures have been going missing and the rumour is that it's for a lot of black market shit."

Theo's eyes widened. "You think that's what he went to work on?"

"I don't know," Harry admitted. "But it seems likely. It's definitely MIA territory. Tonks was able to learn that the Berlin MIA was coordinating with the Russian Ministry about a big crime spree that's been happening. It seems likely that this could be something that they were looking into."

"What does that even mean?" Theo asked. "Can you investigate it?"

Harry shook his head. "Technically no," he admitted. "I don't work for the MIA and my jurisdiction only applies to England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales, but I'm going to look into it anyway."

Theo's brown eyes were hopeful when they met Harry's. "You will?"

Harry nodded, helping himself to more ice cream. "Yeah, I will. But I need your help with something."

"Anything," Theo said.

"Good. I'm glad you said that because what I'm about to suggest, I'll probably get suspended for and possibly fired," Harry began. "We need to talk to Zabini's mother."

Theo's eyes widened at Harry's words. "Fired? What?"

Harry finished off his ice cream. "As I said, I don't have jurisdiction in another country, Theo, but if we're going to find Sebastian, I'm going to need some help."

"If… I'm coming with you," Theo said, his eyes darkening.

"Theo, you're not an Auror. It would be safer if you —"

"— Do not finish that sentence, Harry Potter!" Theo exclaimed, his eyes narrowing. "If you're going to find Bas, I'm coming. Now come on. Let's go back to Norfolk so I can pack a bag. Rome is an hour ahead of us."

Twenty minutes later, Ron met them at the front of Norfolk Manor with a yawn.

Harry slapped a hand on Ron's shoulder. "There's no turning back if you come with me."

"I know," Ron said. "I expect nothing else from someone as dumb as you."

Harry rolled his eyes. "Oi!"

Ron shrugged. "Been following you into trouble since we were eleven, mate. At this point it's just normal."

"Hermione's due to have the baby soon!" Theo said, looking between Harry and Ron. "Are you sure that you want to come, Ron?"

"She's due at the end of the month," Ron said. "And yeah. I can't let this noble git go off by himself. Ginny will have my head. Besides, you're my partner, Harry. It's literally my job to guard your left now."

Harry nodded, squeezing Ron's shoulder. "All right. I already told Tonks the plan."

"Did she call you a wanker?" Ron asked.

"Actually I think she said that I was a moronic twat who better not fuck up," Harry said. "She supports us and she's going to cover for us at work."

"You know if Robards finds out that we're going out of the country to do Auror work that we aren't supposed to be doing he'll have our heads?" Ron said.

"Most likely," Harry said. "Come on."

They took an international portkey to Rome and headed out to the flat of Bellarosa and Joseph Rossi near the Vatican. When they knocked on the door, Bellarosa Rossi opened it and her eyes widened in surprise.

"Erm, Auror Potter, Auror Weasley, what are you doing here?"

"And me, Mrs Rossi."

"Theo!" she exclaimed in surprise. "Well, come in?"

When they stepped into the flat, they found themselves in a warm kitchen just as Joseph Rossi stepped into the room. His dark hair had flecks of silver in it and his stubble was flecked in the same. He was holding a beautiful two year old girl in his arms. He looked at them curiously but his expression gave way nothing to his surprise.

"Good morning. You boys are a long way from England."

Harry nodded. "We are, Sir. Sorry to interrupt your morning, but we need your help."

Rossi raised an eyebrow. "Bellarosa, will you please take Nasira into the other room?"

Bellarosa looked like she wanted to say something but she took the little girl and disappeared down the hall with her.

"Coffee?" Rossi offered, moving to the counter to take down a mug.

Once they were all seated at the table with mugs of coffee in front of them did Harry speak again.

"I know that you're retired, Rossi, but we need your help."

"Retired means retired, Potter. I've been out of commission for seven years."

"And I know that the last thing you probably want is to jump back in, but this wouldn't exactly be official."

Rossi's dark eyebrows rose. "You have my attention."

"Bas is missing," Theo blurted out, making Rossi's eyes find his.

"Bas as in… Sebastian Kane?"

Theo nodded, tears welling up in his eyes. "He went on a mission and they lost contact with him. It's been almost two weeks."

Rossi frowned. "Well, that happens. They would have already sent a coordinated team in after him already. The MIA is set up to deal with these kinds of things."

Harry exchanged a glance with Ron before he pulled out a file and passed it across the table to Rossi. "Ron and I aren't in the MIA, Rossi. We're with the Dark Arts Unit in the DMLE and obviously MacGregor isn't sharing things with us. It's not our case or our division. However, I've been doing some research on my own and I think that Bas' unit was sent out to help with the Toruv Crime Ring."

Rossi's eyebrow rose again. "Vladimir Toruv was taken down over fifteen years ago, Potter. I should know, I had a hand in it."

"Good," Harry said. "Then you'll know how to help us find his daughter."

Rossi stared. "I understand that you lot are worried, but K is a great Auror. I trained him myself. I'd trust him with my life in a heartbeat. It sucks that he's gone missing, but I promise you, they will find him. I trained Durant too and Jin is even more capable. There's no way those two aren't working to find him and they will find him, but you have to let them do their jobs."

"We were," Harry said. "We were waiting for them to do their job, but one of my contacts in the Russian Ministry told me that there was something going on just outside of Ulaantaarbar. It looked like it could be related to the MIA and potentially to Sebastian being missing."

Theo gasped, turning his gaze on Harry. He knew? He knew where Bas was this whole time?

"Why would the Russian Ministry be concerned with what's happening in Ulaantaarbar?"

"Because they've had a similar situation happen in Moscow and are coordinating with the Mongolian Ministry," Harry said.

"And?" Rossi prompted. "Why are you really here?"

"Because it's obvious to me that someone knew what was happening," Harry said. "An explosion hit and the whole building came down."

Theo forgot how to breathe. He let out a strangled gasp of breath that hurt his lungs and Ron grabbed the back of his neck.

"Breathe. In and out. In and out." Ron whispered.

The soothing words helped, but he was still struggling. It took him a few minutes to manage to catch back up to what Harry was saying.

"I have a few Aurors in the Kremlin who are giving me information because of who my grandfather was, but I don't speak Russian well enough. I've learned a few phrases and words over the years, but not enough to get by. Ron and I are skilled at what we do, Rossi, and we want to help with this. But we need someone who's been specially trained to come with us."

"The explosion?"

Harry shook his head. "That's the last I heard. Fire and rescue hadn't gotten to the building yet and I don't know if it's even related to the MIA mission, but I think it is."

Rossi let out a frustrated sigh before he dragged his fingers through his hair. "Bloody hell. All right, but I'm doing this for K, understood?"

"Understood," Harry said.

Rossi disappeared down the hall. They could hear muffled voices before Rossi finally returned with a small pack over his shoulder. "Let's go."

Theo was still completely overwhelmed by what was happening. Harry had said that there had been in an explosion.

Was Bas there?

Was he hurt?

Had anyone found him?

What was going on?

Harry put his arm over his shoulders. "I know that you have questions and I don't know the answers, Theo. But with Rossi's help, we're going to figure it out, all right?"

Theo knew that Harry wouldn't lie to him, but he couldn't help the ball of fear that he was still feeling deep in his stomach.

An hour later, Harry, Ron, Theo, and Rossi all arrived in Moscow with the help of an underground portkey. Harry explained that because they didn't technically have permission to be doing this, they couldn't take an official portkey to Russia. They headed straight to the Kremlevskiy Magicheskiy Komitet and went straight to the Auror Department to meet with the Head Auror, a man named Anton Mikhaylov. He shook Harry's hand as they approached and his eyes widened at the sight of Rossi.

"Thought you retired?"

"I did," Rossi said, shaking his hand.

Mikhaylov nodded. "Vell, as I was telling Auror Potter here, I only have a bit I can share. Anything the MIA is involved in is deeply classified and confidential so even if I have theories… there's no evidence. Rossi vorked vith your grandfather, Potter, on the original Toruv case."

"Zacarias," Harry said at Rossi's eyebrow.

"Misha?" Rossi exclaimed in surprise. "I didn't realize the connection. Misha and I coordinated for months on Toruv until the MIA officially took over the case in '89."

Mikhaylov nodded. "Da. As I was saying to Potter, I've only been Head Auror for six months. I over after Stepanchikov retired, but I remember when Illarian Toruv ran his own mafia here in Moscow. People disappeared vithout a trace. He took over businesses, ran underground clubs, and it took years to build a case against him, to find evidence of the illegal activity he vas involved vith. In the last two years, a lot of similarities have risen and his daughter, Ekaterina has taken on many of his old establishments."

"You think that she's starting something up again?" Rossi asked.

"Da. Ve do. Magical creatures have gone missing. House elves have gone to market and not returned. There are rumours of black market auctions, executions, and other horrible things. The problem is that Ekaterina learned from her father's mistakes. It is not only here in Moscow, but in Mongolia and a little into Khuzestan as vell. I've heard rumours that her reach has even extended to Hong Kong."

Rossi frowned. "All right. I can see why you asked for help. Let me see the file you turned over to the MIA."

"I don't have it. The MIA took all copies and left us with only the redacted copies. However, I can tell you about the explosion that took place late last night," Mikhylov said. "Fire and rescue are still searching as it took out a half the block in downtown Ulaantaarbar."

Theo paled. "Survivors?"

Mikhaylov shook his head. "I don't know. If they did, I imagine they wouldn't survive for long. Let me show you the report I had sent over from the Mongolian Ministry."

Despite how helpful Mikhaylov was, they still didn't know enough. Once the Magical Intelligence Agency took over a case, especially something as concerning as this, the Ministry who asked for assistance was usually kept in a very minimal loop. When they left the Ministry, Theo felt like they'd learned nothing more than they knew going in, but he listened to Harry, Ron, and Rossi discuss things anyway.

"Illarian Toruv was a man who loved wealth," Rossi said. "He fell deep into the black market and he became a very rich man. He worked for over a decade before anyone even knew his name as someone to be feared. His biggest and most well known crime was the houses he kept all over Eastern Europe. There were ten of them when I arrested him."

"What kind of houses?" Harry asked.

"Very unique brothels," Rossi replied.

"He owned sex slaves?" Ron exclaimed, his eyes widening. "I thought he sold magical creatures?"

"He did," Rossi said.

"Bloody hell," Ron grumbled. "He used magical creatures as sex slaves?"

Rossi nodded. "Partly. His houses were unique as I said and they catered towards men and women who had unusual tastes. People will pay a lot of money to get what they want. You want to be fucked by a Centaur? He provided. You want to do a house elf? He provided. The things we found in that place… trust me, it's beyond your imagination. There was a room in a house off of the coast of Vladivostok that housed an octopus. Let's just say I never knew tentacles were a turn on for some people."

Ron grimaced. "I think I'm going to be sick."

"If people paid, he provided," Rossi continued. "He kept vampires chained up and people would pay to be fed on; paid to be taken by a werewolf in its wolf form. Some people paid to do sexual things with corpses. It was… alarming. It took ages to rescue them all and to get them help. Toruv made billions on this."

"It sounds like a lot of the same things are happening," Harry began. "If Mikhaylov is right, Toruv's daughter is following in her father's footsteps."

"Indeed," Rossi said. "And if Ekaterina is following her father's example, she's already expanded into a bigger territory. Toruv never left Russia."

"What do you think?" Harry asked. "Should we head to Ulaantaarbar and see what the Mongolian Ministry can tell us?"

"No," Rossi said. "We don't have jurisdiction here, Potter. Once the MIA takes on a case, all contact with the local ministries tends to stay quiet unless they deliberately bring in local Aurors to help. In situations like this that's rare. No, if we're going to find Kane, we need to do our own digging."

"How?" Theo asked, speaking for the first time. "What do we do next?"

Rossi's eyes met Theo's. "We do our investigating into Ekaterina Toruv and see if someone leads us to where Kane was last seen."

Theo followed them, not sure if he felt any better with this plan than the last one. He wasn't an Auror and he knew they'd let him come only because it was Harry and Ron. He only hoped that there was something that could lead them towards where Bas was.

And soon.

Being in the bunker is what saved their life.

The explosion that went off above shook the very foundations of the earth. The walls cracked and dirt crept in, but they didn't collapse. However, the staircase leading out most certainly did.

Sebastian coughed from where he was lying at the bottom of the stairs with Durant's body half draped on top of him. When his friend groaned, relief tore through him. Durant coughed before he crawled to his feet, blinking up at the blocked off staircase.

Durant swore at the sight of their exit being sealed off. "Well, fuck!"

"There has to be another way out," Sebastian said, his voice much calmer than he felt.

Durant didn't look like he wanted to be calm, but he nodded. They had no idea what had happened upstairs. They had no idea if Jin had gotten the prisoner far enough away before the explosion went off. The only thing they did know was that they needed to find a way out of this bloody bunker.

It took them almost two hours, but they found another out. It was behind a shelf, a small crevice in the wall that Sebastian somehow spotted. They peeled the door open and headed into a narrow concrete tunnel that required both of them to stay crouched down. It couldn't be taller than one hundred and sixty-eight centimetres. Since Sebastian's foot was killing him and his right hand was essentially useless, he crawled on his knees. Durant swore the entire time as he did the same; both of them much too tall to do anything else.

It didn't take them long to realize that the tunnel was deeply guarded against any type of magic. The anti-magic spells were so fierce, Durant could barely keep his wand lit. This meant that Durant couldn't use his wand to do any kind of healing spells to help Sebastian and most of all, they had no way of magically leaving the tunnel. It forced them onward, slowly and awkwardly and in Sebastian's case, painfully.

Sebastian didn't know how far they walked or for how long, but it felt like days. They were moving at a snail's pace, unable to race in their awkward position. They stopped to rest, sleeping crouched up against the wall listening for any sound around them in the darkness. Sebastian grimaced at the feel of his foot. If they didn't get out of here soon, the creeping infection was going to take over.

"Don't think about it," Durant said, not opening his eyes. "We'll find the other side and I'll get you to a healer."

"I know you will. It's just… if the infection takes over too much, they won't be able to do anything."

"Stop thinking about it," Durant said again. "Instead let's talk about that arse who was torturing you."

"Vlad definitely has some pull in the organization, but he's not the top. I doubt he even knows where Ekaterina is," Sebastian said. "We saw him talking to her, but I don't think he has a strong connection there. He was working on his own and Narun and Purev were taking orders from him."

Durant opened one eye. "How did he spot you?"

Sebastian let out a slow breath. "That I don't know. I was careful. It was like they came out of nowhere and they knew who I was."

Durant frowned. "You're too bloody good. Albrecht told us she moved closer to try to get the surveillance charm more clear. She said she was a minute at most and when she turned around you were gone."

Sebastian nodded. "Yeah, I… I remember her saying that. I said I would stay back and try to see if I could pinpoint which direction Toruv was taking after she finished talking to Vlad. I turned and then…"

"And then what?" Durant asked.

Sebastian shook his head. "It's fuzzy, but… I think someone tased me."

"How the fuck did you let someone sneak up on you in the first place?"

"They didn't," Sebastian said, the memory coming back to him. "They shot me from the roof of the building across from us."

"With a tasing spell?" Durant exclaimed, his eyes widening. "That's an impressive distance."

"I turned and saw the shadow on the roof half a second before it hit me," Sebastian remembered. "I fell before I could make a sound and then someone used a pulley charm to shoot me towards them. The man who grabbed me wore a mask and he had a black tooth. Then something hit me over the head."

Durant frowned again. "I don't like that this bloke pulled one over on you, Bas. Were you distracted?"

"No," Sebastian insisted.

"Was he one of the men who was torturing you?"

Sebastian started to say no before he stopped himself. "It might have been Ivan, the first man who began torturing me. He punched me repeatedly until he moved close enough for me to swing my legs up and hold him by the neck."

"That sounds more like you," Durant said.

"It didn't do anything. Vlad told me to kill him. He wanted to see me do something rash to prove that I was in the MIA."

"That's another thing," Durant said slowly. "How did they know you were MIA in the first place? This whole thing seemed too perfect. Either Vlad is smarter than he looks and had some sort of failsafe put together on that shit hole, which I think is highly unlikely given his methods, or he knew that we were coming."

"That doesn't bode much better," Sebastian admitted.

"If they knew we were coming it means that we have a rat somewhere," Durant began. "It's not me or you or J which leaves the Berlin Aurors."

"No," Sebastian said. "I've worked with Bauer and Albrecht before. They're both solid, D. Albrecht is one of the best according to Rossi and she bloody trained Bauer herself. It's not them."

"The Kremlin Aurors are aware of the situation as they're the ones who called in the MIA, but they don't know the specifics of what we're doing. Everything has been need to know and B & A are informed through Auror M."

"Or Webber," Sebastian said.

"Fuck, K, Webber's been a KC as long as M," Durant said.

Sebastian nodded, thinking about the Knight Commander of the Berlin office. They'd worked with Karl Webber for years and while he was brash, they'd always liked him. "Well, if it's not him, there's someone else."

"Shit," Durant said, his eyes meeting Sebastian's. "It's not bloody Webber. It's that new A1. What was his name? You remember how he was hanging around and Webber ordered him out and then we ran into him in the hall after? He was too smooth, I didn't like him."

"You think he found a way to spy?"

"Yeah, I do," Durant said. "Fuck, what was his bloody name?"

"Khrushchev," Sebastian said. "They hired him from the Russian Auror Academy."

Durant swore again. "That little fucker. I told Bauer he didn't sit well with me and Bauer said he was new and still learning the ropes. Are you good to keep moving? We need to get out of here."

Sebastian struggled to his knees. His knees were bleeding from walking on them and his whole body ached, but he nodded. His ribs ached, his face ached, and he could barely feel his dangling broken fingers.

"I'm good. Let's go."

They made their way forward again in the silence of the tunnel and hoped that there was something at the other end.

~ KE: Theo I ~

Theo got them a hotel suite in the city of Ulaantaarbar so that they could coordinate a plan. He knew that they wanted to find someone to get information here in the city, but Theo had no idea how they were going to do that. He listened as Rossi, Harry, and Ron made plans to head out to where the explosion had taken place and see what they could find out.

"I'm going with you," Theo said.

"Theo," Harry began. "We made you get this hotel room for a reason. You can't come. This is our job."

"Fuck your job!" Theo exclaimed. "The three of you don't have any authority out here! This is our home base as you said and I'm not sitting around and waiting all over again! I can do that in bloody England! That's my man out there and he… I'm coming with you!"

Ron gave Theo a look. "Mate, we know that you're worried about Bas, but it would be safer for everyone if you just stayed here."

When Ron turned around, Theo leapt on him from behind, piggybacking himself on Ron's back.

"Bloody hell!"

"I'm coming with you," Theo repeated.

Harry sighed. "Fine. But you listen to everything we say out there, Theo. Do you understand?"

"Yes," Theo said, surprised that he'd actually been taken seriously.

"All right. Let's head out."

Ron gave Theo's thigh a squeeze. "Are you getting down or…?"

Theo kissed his cheek. "Someone big and strong like you can carry me out."

Ron snorted, but Theo hopped down and sheathed his sword.

He kept his mouth shut as they left the hotel and headed out to where the explosion had taken place. Two buildings were destroyed and twenty innocent bystanders had been killed. Harry moved forward to listen in as Rossi discreetly checked out the back. Theo shifted nervously until Ron put his hand on his shoulder.

"Let them do their thing," Ron murmured.

When Harry returned a few minutes later, he told them that the explosion was being called an accident but that he'd caught sight of Jin with the healers.

"Yeona?" Theo asked, his eyes widening. "She's here! Is she all right?"

Harry nodded. "She's alive, but it looks like she was injured in the explosion. I don't know how serious it is, but the healers are taking her to the hospital for a check up. Apparently she saved the life of a man named Vlad something. I couldn't make out the rest as my translating charm wasn't making sense any more and I couldn't get any closer without being suspicious."

"If Yeona was here, then Durant and Bas have to be too," Theo insisted. "That's his team, Harry!"

Harry nodded. "I know. But there's no sign of Durant or Sebastian."

Rossi returned a moment later. "I think I found something."

They followed him down the block and into a dark alley behind a building where a junkie was hunched in the corner, rocking back and forth. Rossi spoke to him in a language Theo didn't know and the junkie responded in a stutter.

"He says that he saw a man and a woman sneak into the building and then two other men come out the back," Rossi said. "The building used to be a bomb shelter that was built in the 1940s. All of these buildings are."

"What does that mean?" Theo asked. "Is that important?"

"Yeah, it is," Harry said. "If it was a shelter, that means there are tunnels running under the ground."

"Tunnels?" Theo asked.

"Bloody hell," Ron grumbled. "We're going to have to go into the sewers, aren't we?"

Rossi spoke more to the junkie and when he finished, he passed him some Galleons. "He's seen more than he's let on. He said two huge men carried an unconscious man into the building over a week ago. He said the man was white and had dark hair and looked tall. Two men came out, but he never saw the unconscious man again. He sleeps in the sewers at night because it's cooler and he claims the east side has a low humming frequency that hurts his ears."

Harry frowned. "The only thing that would give off a humming frequency would be ridiculously strong warding. It keeps the Muggles away and often interferes with their electronics."

Harry and Rossi spoke quietly between them, something about Toruv taking after her father and the use of tunnels that Theo only partially heard, and when they made to head into the sewer, Ron touched Theo's shoulder.

"You should go back to the hotel, mate. Let us handle this. We'll send word the second we know anything."

"I'm coming with you," Theo insisted.

Ron sighed and exchanged a look with Harry.

"Don't look at Harry, Ron: Look at me. If this was Hermione, would you be sitting on the sidelines?"

"No," Ron mumbled.

"Exactly," Theo said. "So shut up and let's go."

Theo regretted his words within minutes.

The sewers were dark and dank and smelly. His feet sloshed through water as they walked further and further underground, following some form of path that Rossi insisted made sense. They walked for over an hour until finally Rossi tapped his wand on the stone ahead and smiled.

"It's here."

No sooner had the words left his lips did two huge figures seem to come out of nowhere. Theo had his sword in his hand half a second before he realized they weren't human. They were huge statutes made of stone and they had weapons the size of a full grown man. He ducked just in time to avoid the massive stone sword from crushing in his skull. He heard Harry say something, but he swung his sword forward to stop the next attack and it met the stone with a deafening crack.

Ron sent a spell towards the one on the left and the statue's shoulder exploded into bits. It didn't even slow the thing down.

Harry moved in front of Theo and Ron, his wand raised. He flicked his wrist and thrusted his wand forward in a jerky circular movement that sent a pink spell spiralling towards the statue. It petrified the stone in one jerk and then the entire statue crumpled into dust before them.

"Nice," Ron said, high-fiving Harry.

Theo pushed Ron out of the way in time to avoid the second statue taking a swing at them. He heard the sound of more stone being torn apart and when he looked up, Harry was standing there with the two statues turned to dust at his feet, his dark hair covered in a layer of it making him look like quite the silver fox in the low light.

Rossi whistled. "Guess the rumours of your power weren't exaggerated, were they, Potter?"

"We have to keep moving," Harry said. "I get the feeling that wasn't the only thing standing in our way."

They kept walking, winding in and out of the passageways in the sewers. Theo had no idea where they were going, but Rossi seemed to have an idea as he led them through. They must have walked for another twenty minutes before they reached a dead end and Theo frowned.

"Are we lost?"

"No," Rossi said. "If I remember correctly, Toruv used tunnels just like this but he had… ah yes."

The buzzing had gotten stronger the closer they got, but Theo wasn't sure how that worked as they weren't Muggles. When he asked, Harry started to explain how it was a spell they'd used to try to find the warding which is why they could hear the buzzing to begin with.

Rossi touched his wand to the stone wall. "This is it. I'm sure of it. The tunnel has to be behind here."

"I thought that we were already in the tunnels," Theo began.

"No," Ron said. "There's another tunnel system hidden behind the sewers."

Harry immediately moved forward with his wand and began to use some kind of spell that Theo had never seen before. It cut right into the wall, forming a perfect door that led into a concrete tunnel. No sooner had the door opened, did a sense of complete dread wash over them and Ron swore under his breath.

"Dementors!"

Theo started to lift his sword, trying to find a memory happy enough to deter them. But his worry and fear for Sebastian was making it hard to do so. He closed his eyes, scrunching his nose as he tried to think of something and when he imagined Sebastian' face the first time he'd told him he loved him back, he felt the light soar through him. When he opened his eyes, a macaroni penguin was waddling straight towards the Dementor along with a Jack Russell terrier, a stallion, a wolf, a dog, and a large stag. They surrounded the six Dementors from all sides and Theo heard Harry call out for them to hold onto their memories.

Rossi was standing behind Theo, unable to produce a Patronus. Theo watched as Harry urged his Patronus animals to tighten the circle around the Dementors and then he ordered Theo and Ron to pull theirs back. Theo guided his penguin back towards him to protect him and Rossi while Harry's animals all attacked the Dementors head on. To Theo's shock, the moment the animals attacked, the Dementors exploded into black dust as if they'd never been at all.

Rossi's mouth dropped open. "Holy fuck! Did you just… you fucking decimated a Dementor!"

Ron grinned. "Yeah, he does that."

"I… I heard rumours but I didn't believe it was really possible," Rossi mumbled, his eyes wide.

Harry shrugged as if it was no big deal that he just took out six Dementors essentially by himself. "It's possible. You just need to know how to control your happiest memory."

"And what memory do you have that's so powerful?" Rossi asked.

"That's easy," Harry replied. "The moment I held by son in my arms and looked into my wife's eyes. Now come on, let's get in here."

Theo scrambled after Harry into the tunnel and claustrophobia immediately gripped him. He'd never been bothered by confined spaces, but the air was heavy in here, dank, and the total blackness made it worse somehow. He tried to light his wand, but it didn't work.

"My wand's not working," he hissed.

"It's not your wand," Harry whispered from in front of him. "It's the warding. We won't be able to use any magic from here on out."

For the first time since they'd headed underground, fear pulled at Theo. Without the ability to see and without the ability to use magic, he suddenly felt as helpless as a child.

"Everyone hold onto the person in front of them," Harry ordered.

Theo gripped Harry's belt as Ron grabbed his from behind and when they began to walk, he heard nothing but the sounds of their breathing and saw nothing but darkness lying ahead.

Durant ordered Sebastian to rest again after a few more hours of walking. Sebastian wasn't sure how far they'd actually advanced through the tunnel even though he swore they'd been moving for days. Walking on one's knees made movement slow and when one of those people had been tortured for days on end, it made them even slower. But Durant never complained. He kept checking in and then helping him forward, but Durant was right. He needed to rest now.

He fell back onto his butt against the concrete, his head hitting the wall behind him hard enough to jolt. He was starting to feel like the air he was breathing was getting heavier. Durant must have noticed because he swore again.

"The warding in this tunnel is astronomical. Bloody hell! I can't even activate a bloody portkey!"

Sebastian wasn't surprised to hear that. Durant had been trying for ages, but there was no way to use magical means to get out of this tunnel any faster. They were stuck unless they kept going and found a way to reach the other side. The darkness was unbearable and when they did come across pockets of light, Durant would take a moment to try to check on Sebastian's wounds, but Sebastian knew they weren't getting any better.

He leaned back against the wall, trying to slow his breathing, but the heaviness of the air made it difficult. His foot ached, his hand ached, and his shoulder hurt more than he could express since it was still popped out of joint. He was tempted to ask Durant to set it, but to do so he would need to hold onto his broken wrist and fingers and Sebastian wasn't ready for that yet.

It had to be late August by now, Sebastian thought. He'd been kidnapped the second week and he wasn't sure how long they'd kept him, but he knew it had to have been at least a week, maybe more. Fuck, he needed to get out of here and to get back home. He was marrying the love of his life the second week of September and Sebastian was determined to be standing at that altar.

"Stop," Durant said. "You and your loud bloody thoughts. You'll be there, K."

"D, promise you'll take care of him."

"No," Durant said. "That's your damn job and I'm going to get you home to him."

"He's sensitive, you know? My family means the world to him and I know that they'll still love and adore him even if I'm gone, but… he gets lonely. I don't want him to be lonely."

"Sebastian, shut the fuck up! You will get home and you will marry Theo, all right? I promise."

Sebastian appreciated his words, but the heavier the air got, the more he wasn't so sure he was going to make it out of here alive. His eyes were getting heavy now and then suddenly Durant was in front of him, slapping his face.

"Stay with me, K! Fuck, you're bleeding again, aren't you? Merlin's balls! I wish I had some blasted light so I can see where the fuck your injuries are!"

There was more cursing and as his vision became more patchy, Sebastian thought there could be worse ways to die. He heard Durant say something about dragging him on his back if he had to right before Durant made a startled sound as something hit him. Sebastian tried to lift his head to see where the sound was coming from, but something struck him before he could form any more thoughts and then it was all over.

They'd been walking for hours and despite assurances from Rossi, Harry, and Ron, Theo was starting to think that they didn't really know where they were going. Rossi mentioned something about the warding in the tunnel being incredibly complex and that despite Harry being able to magically get them inside, it was impossible to do the same spell to get them out.

"No Apparition. No portkeys. No magic of any kind," Rossi said. "It's a death sentence on anyone that's forced into here."

"It's not," Theo whispered.

Harry gave him a reassuring look, but it didn't make him feel any better.

They kept walking and the further they descended, the more narrow the tunnel became. Theo was the shortest of the four of them at one hundred and seventy-two centimetres, he could merely duck his head, but Harry, Rossi, and Ron weren't so lucky. Ron, who was almost as tall as Sebastian, had to crawl on his hands and knees and when his hand touched something wet, he swore.

"Bloody buggering hell!" Ron grumbled. "I think I just put my hand in a puddle of blood."

"How much blood?" Rossi demanded.

"I don't know. I can't see shit," Ron complained. "But it's definitely more than a drop or two."

"We have to keep moving," Rossi insisted. "This tunnel is the only way they could have gone after leaving the bunker."

Theo hoped Rossi was right because if they were down here and Bas wasn't… no, Theo didn't even want to think about that. They were going to find him.

They had to.

They kept moving. Crawling across the concrete until they finally reached a circular room with a little light coming in. Ron finally was able to stand up to his full height and when he stepped into the light, Theo noticed that all of them were covered in blood stains on their trousers and hands.

Rossi held a hand up before any of them could speak and half a second later, Theo realized why. There were voices coming from the tunnel up ahead. They were speaking in Arabic and another language that Theo didn't recognize. Harry and Ron immediately stepped in front of Theo, reaching for their wands.

"The wards," Theo hissed. "Your wands won't work!"

Harry reached back and touched Theo's hip. "Your sword will."

Theo passed the sword to Harry without hesitation and two huge men came into the tunnel. They were walls of muscle and Theo thought he might be projecting the fact that they looked villainous, but he thought they were rather ugly too. They blinked in surprise at the sight of them there and then the first one moved towards Rossi.

Rossi shifted and moved so fast it almost seemed like a blur. Theo knew he'd seen Sebastian move like that before, but it was still unbelievable to see. Rossi rolled and somehow used his leg to knock the man to his knees as the other one headed towards Ron and Harry. Harry used the sword like a beater's bat, knocking the man back with a bone-crushing blow that barely fazed him. Ron used his fists, taking a swing at the man's side and pummelling his ribs. The sound of flesh hitting flesh made Theo wince just as his sword drew blood on the man's arm.

Rossi was punching his opponent now as fists met fists and the two men wrestled on the ground in a bloody fight that Theo didn't want to watch. Harry ordered Ron to help Rossi and used the sword to swing again, the hilt hitting the man in the head. He yelped and then slammed Harry down into the ground so hard that Theo swore he felt the ground tremble.

Theo slowly backed up closer to the wall, not sure what to do. Harry had his sword and he couldn't even use magic down here if he wanted to. The air was heavy and hard to breathe and all he could do was stand back and watch these men fight for their lives. Then suddenly, Harry had the sword held high, it gleaming in the little bit of light that filtered through and then he swung it in a circle, and pointed it at the light. He said a spell Theo that hadn't heard before and the whole tunnel quaked. The walls shook and it was enough to make Rossi, Ron, and their opponent back off. The man under Harry scrambled out from under him and Harry pulled his own wand from his pocket.

His wand pointed up and twirled and suddenly a flash of white light illuminated the entire tunnel and a flash of blue sparked above them like a flame, travelling up the concrete walls like a wave of fire before a huge whooshing sound made it all vanish.

Harry grinned and pointed his wand at the man's throat. "Stricta dormire, arsehole."

The sleeping spell knocked the man out in seconds and Rossi had his wand pointed at the other man after that. Theo reached for his sword as Ron froze the man in place as Rossi approached him.

"Seems magic is working again," Rossi said. "Maybe you can tell us why you're down here."

The man rambled in a different language and Rossi quickly responded in the same. Whatever he asked, the man clearly wasn't giving the right answers. Rossi's wand pushed into his throat as he spoke again and this time Theo understood.

"Narun has them," he whispered in heavy accented English.

"Who's Narun?" Theo asked.

Harry frowned as Rossi put a sleeping charm on the man. "Well?"

"They're here," Rossi said. "Somewhere in the tunnels."

"Let's go," Harry said, rushing forward.

Rossi shook his head. "While we're rushing forward maybe you could tell me how the hell you broke that warding?"

Harry shrugged. "It was weaker here."

Rossi opened his mouth to say something before he closed it and shook his head again. "Maybe that Chosen One shit wasn't really bullshit after all."

Ron grinned. "He's Harry Bloody Potter, mate. Keep up."

Then they hurried off into the darkness, this time with their wands lit before them.

~ KE: Theo I ~

Sebastian's eyes opened despite how much it hurt to force them to do so. He blinked against the dim light and when he shifted, his shoulder screamed and he cried out at the pain of it as he realized that he was once more hanging from a bloody meat hook. His dislocated shoulder made the position worse and his broken wrist dangled in the cuffs. He looked around and when he realized Durant was hanging next to him, his mouth went dry.

"Bloody hell," he murmured.

"Bloody hell is right," Durant said. "You all right?"

"I'm still alive," Sebastian said, spitting blood on the floor between his cracked lips. "What happened?"

"Not sure," Durant admitted. "One minute you were fading and the next something hit me in the darkness. I woke up here."

"Welcome back," Narun said, stepping out of the doorway.

"Narun," Sebastian said. "I really thought I'd never see you again. Pleasure."

"Is this the nutter who was torturing you?" Durant asked.

"Broke my toes with a meat mallet," Sebastian said. "He's charming."

Narun chuckled. "Vlad will be happy to know I've recaptured you."

"Vlad's in prison," Durant said.

Narun shrugged. "That's all right. I don't take my orders from him. Finding two English Aurors in the tunnels is one very lucky find."

"I'm French," Durant hissed. "Mostly."

Sebastian snorted. "You talk like an Englishman."

"That's because I've been hanging around you too long."

"Hey, I'm Irish and French," Sebastian said.

"Enough!" Narun exclaimed, his wand tapping against his thigh. "You will both die here today and your bodies will be left on the steps of the Ministry to show them that we don't take kindly to strangers trying to impose themselves into our business."

"You might want to rethink that," Sebastian said. "We're just two men, but I can promise they'll send more to replace us."

"We'll see, won't we?"

Then his fist plowed into Sebastian's face so hard his head felt like it was going to explode. He barely made a sound but Durant swore from next to him.

"Fuck! He's already messed up; come after me, you sick bastard!"

Narun smiled. "You'll have a turn. I promise."

Then his wand pointed at Sebastian's throat and he said a spell in Mandarin that Sebastian had never heard before. The last thing he saw when he closed his eyes was Theo's warm brown eyes and he hoped his man knew how much he loved him.

Then something hot hit him in the centre of his chest and he lost the ability to breathe. He gasped for breath as Durant screamed, struggling in his bonds next to him. Narun chuckled as Sebastian gasped for breath, his vision blurring as he choked on blood and air and then his whole world went black.

~ KE: Theo I ~

Theo heard the screaming and his heart jumped into his throat. Harry grabbed his arm before he could take off and he attempted to rip it out of the man's stronger grip.

"Wait a second," Harry hissed. "We don't know what we're running into!"

Theo ripped his arm out of Harry's grasp and pushed his way ahead without another thought as Harry hissed at him. But Theo was shorter and leaner than all of them and it gave him an advantage as he ran hunched over down the path. He slipped on the concrete as someone screamed again and this time he recognized the voice as belonging to Durant.

"It's D!" Theo whispered as Harry and Ron came up behind him with Rossi on his left.

"Wait here," Rossi said before he moved ahead. He returned a moment later.

"There's only one man, but yes, K and D are both there."

Theo's eyes widened at the words. "Bas? He's there? He's alive?"

Harry shoved Theo behind him and ordered him to stay there, but Theo barely heard him. He was too busy taking in Rossi's words that it really was Sebastian and Durant up ahead. He let Harry take the lead after Rossi and Ron ran towards the screams and when they stepped inside, Rossi headed towards the man with his wand pointed at Durant. He took him down quickly and when he did, Theo's eyes found Sebastian hanging lifelessly from a meat hook, bloody and beat up and his mouth dropped open.

"Bas!" Theo gasped, running forward towards him.

Durant's head spun around in surprise as he dangled from the meat hook next to him. "How the fuck are you here?"

Theo ignored him and crawled towards Sebastian, taking in his bloody and beat up figure in horror. "What happened? What's wrong with him?"

"He was tortured," Durant said. "I don't know what this piece of shit just hit him with, but… is he breathing?"

Theo pressed his head face into Sebastian's stomach, his hand rising over his heart. The feel of a heartbeat under his palm almost made him sob in relief. "He is!

"R? Merlin! You're a sight for sore eyes!" Durant exclaimed. "Are you the one who thought it was a good idea to bring K's man along for this shit?"

"D," Rossi said, urging Ron to help him get Durant down from the hook. "No. It wasn't my plan to bring Theo along. That was Potter's."

Harry moved to lift Sebastian down, getting Theo to help him. Theo took in his obviously broken wrist and fingers, the way his shoulder was popped out painfully, the hundreds of cuts and slices and his mangled and bloody right foot looked so swollen it could have passed for a troll's foot. His hand looked even worse. He carefully touched his swollen face, tears in his eyes.

"I'm here, Bas. I'm right here, baby. We're going to get you home, I promise."

"Let's go," Durant said, jolting Theo out of his inspection of Sebastian.

Ron helped Durant tie Sebastian over Durant's shoulder as he grunted. "Are you sure you got this? He's not exactly small, is he?"

"I've got him," Durant said. "I think there's an exit that way. It's where this piece of shit appeared from."

Rossi nodded. "Potter took down the wards. I should be able to make a portkey from here."

"R, we still haven't found Toruv," Durant began.

Rossi shook his head. "Live to fight another day, D. That's the first rule. Let's go."

Rossi turned a piece of rock from the ground into a portkey as they waited.

"Any word on J?" Durant asked.

"She was being transported by healers when we saw her," Ron said. "We didn't stick around to find out more."

Durant nodded. and five minutes later, they were zooming out of the sewers and they were crash landing in the centre of the Secret Intelligence Unit in Londonderry's Magical Intelligence Agency.

Sebastian groaned, but didn't regain consciousness. Theo's heart was pounding so hard in his chest he was worried it was going to escape entirely.

"We need a healer!" Durant shouted.

"Auror D!" MacGregor bellowed in surprise, coming out of his office. "What in bleeding hell happened here? Lord Norfolk!"

Durant shook his head. "Later, M."

MacGregor yelled for a healer as well and it took almost five minutes before mobile healers arrived. Theo refused to let go of Sebastian's fingers as they worked on him, pumping blood replenishing potions into his system and checking for injuries. He heard someone say something about a deadly infection in his foot, but he couldn't focus on anything other than the feel of his hand under his.

Durant placed a hand on his shoulder. "Take care of him, Theo."

Then they were heading to St Mungo's and still Theo refused to let go.

~ KE: Theo I ~

When Sebastian opened his eyes, the first thing he saw was Theo's brown hair reflected in the bright light of the hospital room. He reached out to touch him, thinking he was a dream, but his hand was covered in white bandages and he paused. Then everything started to come back to him.

"Toruv," he whispered.

Theo's head shot up and Sebastian took in his puffy, bloodshot eyes, two or three days worth of stubble, and chapped lips. "What?"

"Toruv," he said again. "Where's D?"

"He went back to Mongolia," Theo said. "The mission wasn't… no, I don't give a flying fig about your stupid mission! I care about you! How are you feeling? Where does it hurt?"

"I feel fine," Sebastian said. "A bit fuzzy."

Theo snorted. "You only feel fine because you're on bloody pain potions."

"Maybe," he admitted. "Come give me a kiss, baby."

Theo scowled. "Three broken ribs! A broken foot, five broken toes, three broken fingers, a broken wrist, a broken cheekbone, a dislocated and broken shoulder, and that's not even including the bruises and cuts you have. You lost so much blood and your knees are practically cut raw from walking on concrete and…"

"And I love you," Sebastian said, reaching for Theo with his good hand. "How long until our wedding?"

"Twelve days," he whispered. "Bas… what did they do to you?"

Sebastian gave him a small smile. "I'm all right. I promise."

"You were tortured," Theo said rather accusingly.

"Not the first time," Sebastian said. "I didn't plan on it, but it happened."

"Be better at your job," Theo replied, making Sebastian's lips curve.

"Ouch. That was a direct hit."

Theo reached out to trace Sebastian's bottom lip with his finger. "Fuck, Auror Arsehole… when MacGregor came by our home to tell me you were missing… my heart just stopped. Then when he said the team sent to rescue you went missing trying to find you…"

Sebastian kissed the tip of Theo's finger. "I'm here. I'm all right. I promise."

"If I hadn't found you when I did…"

Sebastian frowned. "Wait… what? You found me? What the fuck were you doing coming after me?"

Theo scowled. "I was bringing you home, Auror Arsehole. Don't you swear at me for going after my man when he bloody disappears! What else was I supposed to do?"

"You're not an Auror," Sebastian said. "You had no business coming after me! What if you'd been hurt?"

"Oh, like finding you hanging from a bloody meat hook and barely breathing wasn't going to hurt me? Piss off, you bloody wanker!" Theo shouted. "You were bloody missing, Sebastian! Missing! MacGregor wouldn't tell me a bleeding thing and I was worried and scared and even Armani was sleeping with me at night because we knew, Bas, we fucking knew that something was wrong! So I went to Harry and he was worried as well and had done his own research and we…"

By the time he finished explaining about how they'd recruited Rossi, Sebastian's mouth was open in shock.

"I can't believe you lot did that."

"Believe it," Rossi said from the doorway of the hospital room. "Your man is quite persistent."

"Joe… thank you," Sebastian said.

Rossi nodded. "I was more or less just around for the ride. We were lucky. It seems some things were repeats of the past." He snuck a look at Theo before he cleared his throat. "D understood your ramblings and they found the ship at the coast of Vladivostok. It led them to some more ports and they uncovered the hiding places of their commodities. Toruv's still in the wind, but D and J are getting close. I've been told to pass on the message that you're not to worry about it and that they'll see you at your wedding. I'm sure M will fill you in on the rest."

"How did M react to you showing up?"

Theo blushed. "Erm… we may have had words about it."

Rossi chuckled. "Let's just say that M was incredibly shocked to discover I had jumped in unofficially and taken your fiancé along with Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. Potter and Weasley were both given slaps on the wrist, but with the outcome being good, I think we were all pretty lucky. Now, get some rest, K. I want to see you dancing at your wedding."

When he left them alone, Sebastian looked at Theo in awe. "You came all the way out to bloody Mongolia to find me? You made Rossi come out of retirement for me? Theo…"

Theo slipped onto the side of the bed so that he could lean his head on Sebastian's shoulder, tears in his eyes. "I'd do it all again in a heartbeat, baby."

Sebastian's eyes softened. "I thought you called me that in my dream."

Theo turned his tear-filled gaze to Sebastian's blue one. "I love you more than I've ever loved anyone or anything in my entire life. You're my Auror Arsehole, Sebastian Christopher Kane soon to be Kane-Nott, and if you don't take better care of my man, I will kill you myself."

Sebastian chuckled and gently kissed Theo's forehead. "Understood, baby. I love you and thank you for coming to find me."

"Always," Theo whispered before he kissed him softly. "Now, I'm going to step out for a minute and let your mother yell at you."

Sebastian groaned. "No! Please don't go!"

Theo climbed off of the bed and winked at his fiancé. "Too late."

Sebastian watched him saunter out of the room and he knew that no matter what happened next, he couldn't wait to marry the man he loved. He couldn't wait to make his name Kane-Nott and proudly display the one who'd stolen his heart.

No, he couldn't wait at all.

~ KE: Theo I ~

10th September, 2005…

The wedding was elaborate, but it was beautiful. They'd decided to get married at Norfolk in the garden and Theo wanted their colours to be purple and gold. Ginny was his Best Witch with Draco and Blaise as his groomsmen. Sebastian had Durant as his Best Man and his grooms witch and groomsman as Jin and his brother-in-law, Beau.

Blaise's fashion designer had helped them choose to wear Baroque style robes. The tuxes were the perfect mix of high fashion and glamour with Sebastian's love of all things old and Theo fell in love with the style.

Theo wore a white tux imprinted with white silk flowers that shimmered in the light. The tailored waistcoat had embroidered gold cuffs, pockets, and a gold collar that continued down the open length of the coat. The matching trousers were the same white material, form fitting and made his arse look amazing. The white vest had white silk buttons and gold embroidered stitches in a line on either side of the buttons. His gold silk cravat matched the gold pocket scarf sticking out of his breast. To complete the outfit he'd decided on a matching white top hat and dress cane with the Nott family crest emblazoned in gold on the tip.

Sebastian's tux was an exact match except it was black. It had the same pattern embroidered into the material making it shimmer in a greyish tinge. He had gold embroidery on the cuffs of his open waistcoat, down the collar and along the pockets. His black vest had the same gold embroidering along the buttons and he had more gold on the white silk shirt he wore beneath his collar. The gold silk cravat was the same as Theo's as was the pocket scarf, but his cane was black with the Kane family crest emblazoned in gold on the tip. The cane was an especially good add on considering Sebastian needed it. He'd healed up well over the last two weeks, the bruising had faded and his toes were almost healed, but he was still limping a bit and his pinkie finger on his right hand had healed a little crooked.

Ginny and Yeona were dressed in floor length purple gowns that were off the shoulder with a low back and adorned in gold vines. Draco, Blaise, Durant, and Beau wore black robes with white silk shirts and purple and gold waistcoats and bowties. Everyone looked perfect.

Theo and Sebastian had both decided that they didn't want to wait at the front, instead, they walked up the aisle together, arms linked and big smiles on their faces. They held hands and stood under a beautiful wedding arch and promised to love, cherish and honour each other through sickness and health under the watchful officiant of Joseph Rossi. The retired MIA Auror was qualified to officiate weddings and Theo agreed that having him do it was kind of neat especially considering how he'd helped Theo save Bas only a few weeks ago. Then Sebastian lifted their joined hands and kissed Theo's fingers.

"You're it for me, Theo. These last six years with you have been the best of my life and I can't wait to spend the next six decades and beyond making more memories with you. You're the first thought in my head when I wake up in the morning and the last one before I sleep at night. I can't wait to be your husband, your partner, and yes, your sex slave," he added, getting a chuckle from those present. "I want to build a family with you. I want to grow old with you. And I can't wait to spend every day showing you how much I love you."

A tear rolled down Theo's cheek before he spoke. "You make me strong, Bas. You support me and love me and cherish me in every way. You make me happy and not just in bed," he said, making people chuckle again. "Though we both know how happy you make me there. We've started a little family with our cats and I can't wait to grow that family into something more with you. I can't wait to call you my husband, to be your partner officially. You might not become a marquess when you marry me because some things are outdated, but you'll always be mine. My man, my love, my husband, my sex slave, my equal. I love you, Sebastian."

A few more words were spoken as they repeated their vows and when the minister announced them to be husband and husband, Theo stood on his toes and pulled Sebastian's mouth down to his.

"Mine," he whispered against his lips and Sebastian grinned.

"Mine."

Then they clasped hands and turned to see their friends and family with big grins on their faces.

They were husbands.

The reception was loud; full of laughter and tears of happiness as people ate and danced and had a great time. When Ginny called them forward for their first dance, Theo linked his arms around his husband's neck with a glowing smile:

Maybe it's intuition
But some things you just don't question
Like in your eyes, I see my future in an instant
And there it goes
I think I found my best friend
I know that it might sound
More than a little crazy but I believe
I knew I loved you before I met you
I think I dreamed you into life
I knew I loved you before I met you
I have been waiting all my life
There's just no rhyme or reason
Only the sense of completion
And in your eyes
I see the missing pieces I'm searching for
I think I've found my way home
I know that it might sound
More than a little crazy but I believe
I knew I loved you before I met you
I think I dreamed you into life
I knew I loved you before I met you
I have been waiting all my life

He stood on his toes and kissed Sebastian deeply to hoots and hollers from their friends and family. As the night went on, Theo danced with what he swore was everyone: Sadira, Spencer, Soraya, Selene, Beau, Amara, Piper, and Felix. Then he was swept up by Molly, Ginny, Yeona, and every other Weasley he found. He even conned Harry into a dance.

He couldn't stop smiling.

When Sebastian took his hand and tugged him into another dance hours later, he linked his arms around his husband's neck — husband, his mind squealed.

"Hi."

"I feel like I've barely seen you all night," Sebastian whined, nuzzling his neck.

"I know," Theo agreed. "It seems like people are destined to keep us apart tonight."

"Can we sneak off yet?"

"No," Theo said. "It's not even eleven, but that doesn't mean we can't sneak off for a little bit."

Sebastian grinned and took his husband's hand, carefully dancing him through the crowd until they reached the door leading out of the ballroom and into the night. For September, it was still fairly warm with the sun having set. Theo giggled as Sebastian tugged him through the garden of Norfolk, down the paths and zig-zagging through the garden hedges, further and further away from their wedding reception. He stopped when they finally reached a dark deserted area of the garden where there was a bench to sit near the gazebo covered in wisteria. He pushed Theo down onto the bench before he straddled him, cupping his face and kissing him deeply.

Theo moaned against his mouth, the feel of his husband's hard length pulsing through his tight trousers against his own hardness. They kissed for a few moments before Sebastian pulled away and climbed off of his lap, kneeling on the ground.

"Wait, your foot," Theo began.

"It's fine," Sebastian said. "I'm a bit sore, but it's good, I promise. This is worth it."

Then his fingers made quick work of Theo's trousers and a moment later Theo's cock was out. Sebastian's tongue licked the length of him and Theo groaned.

"Oh… oh, fuck yes."

He was so hard it was almost embarrassing. It amazed him how quickly Sebastian was able to turn him on. When his mouth finally covered him, taking him into that wet heat, his fingers clutched his husband's hair. He wasn't going to last long. He cried out a warning half a second before he came, his eyes crossing as Sebastian swallowed him down, greedily. When he finally released him, Theo watched his husband lick his lips.

"Merlin, I've been wanting to do that all bloody day."

Theo grinned. "We gave each other blowjobs before the ceremony."

Sebastian moved up from his knees to sit on the bench next to him. "Those were good luck blowjobs and over twelve hours ago."

Theo nodded in agreement before he reached over to unzip his husband's trousers. "You're absolutely right. These are important we're finally married blowjobs."

Sebastian's hard, leaking cock appeared before him and without waiting for a response, Theo knelt down, dragging his tongue over him. Sebastian moaned at the first lick and by the time Theo worked him down his throat and began to suck, his man was dragging his fingers through his hair and making incoherent sounds above him. Theo relished in the taste of him, kissing and sucking and drawing out every pleasure, wanting to make it last. Bas didn't give him a warning, but it didn't matter, he knew his man's body better than he knew his own. He knew when he reached the end and he swallowed down every bit of him, holding him in place until the last drop. He licked his lips as he stood up, straddling him with both of their cocks still hanging out of their trousers.

"Better?"

Sebastian's mouth found his for a long, filthy kiss before he pressed his forehead against his. "I am going to fuck you against every surface in our room this week; bury myself so deep inside of you and then make slow love to you until you can't walk. Then I'm going to feed you and do it all over again."

Theo kissed him again, their sated cocks rubbing against each other just enough to make him wonder if they could pull off a second round before anyone decided to come look for them.

"Bas, you forgot one thing." When Sebastian arched an eyebrow, Theo's lips curved. "I'm going to make you eat my arse for days while I suck your cock."

Sebastian was rubbing against him now, his cock plumping against him. "I love you, Theodore Kane-Nott."

"I love you, Sebastian Kane-Nott."

Their lips met again before they heard someone laugh nearby. Theo reluctantly climbed off of his husband as they tucked themselves away, zipping up their trousers. They'd just held hands when Blaise stumbled out of the bushes with Soraya, both of them adjusting their clothes.

"Soraya!" Sebastian exclaimed, his eyes narrowing at Blaise.

Blaise shrugged. "Live a little, Bas."

Then he and Soraya were laughing as they disappeared.

Sebastian frowned. "Blaise is… and Soraya is… no."

Theo chuckled and stood on his toes to kiss his husband's cheek. "Try not to think about it, Bas. We both know that's not going to be more than a one night thing. I tried to set them up once."

"That makes it worse!" Sebastian protested.

"Aw, poor baby," Theo teased, his hand moving over his husband's groin. "Want me to suck it and make it feel better?"

"So badly," Sebastian moaned as more voices seemed to come from nearby. "But I think we're going to have to wait. Will you tell me where we're going for our honeymoon yet?"

"No," Theo said, pecking his cheek. "It's a surprise."

Sebastian sighed. "All right, come on."

Theo let his husband lead him along past the gazebo covered in wisteria, but this time he heard a distinct sound near them. He stopped Sebastian and made a motion for him to listen. A minute later, a very dishevelled Harry and Ginny emerged from the gazebo. Ginny had pieces of wisteria in her hair and Harry's shirt was buttoned incorrectly.

Theo cleared his throat. "You two wouldn't be up to anything naughty out here, would you?"

Harry jumped, his cheeks flushing adorably. "What? No, we were just out for a walk. Needed some air from all of the dancing."

"Yes, we needed some air," Ginny agreed. "Are you two trying to sneak off early?"

"We just needed some air as well," Theo said, wiggling his eyebrows.

Someone called Sebastian's name and he kissed Theo's forehead before hurrying off to see what it was about, leaning on his cane as he did. Harry made an excuse about needing to get some wine and hurried off, leaving Theo alone with Ginny.

Theo took in the beautiful purple gown his Best Woman was wearing with the gold vines across the chest. Her pale arms with bits of freckles scattered seemed to glow in the moonlight.

"Have I told you how beautiful you look?"

Ginny smiled and linked her arm with his. "What can I say? The grooms have impeccable taste. Speaking of looking beautiful, you look very, very happy, Theo."

"I am so happy that I feel like I could explode bursts of confetti everywhere," he said, making her laugh.

"I understand perfectly."

"So, you and Harry are enjoying having a night out then? Is Jamie at home with the elves?"

"Yes," Ginny said, grinning. "Basil and Esmerelda are watching him since everyone is here. I can't believe he's fifteen months old already."

"And you back to Harpies like you never left."

She chuckled. "Yes, returning last season was hard. I never thought it would be so difficult to leave James, but I'm looking forward to being back again this season."

"So is that what you and Harry were doing in my gazebo, celebrating having the night off together?"

Ginny blushed. "We were just kissing."

"Uh-huh and?"

Ginny elbowed him. "Let's just say that my knickers are currently residing inside of my husband's pocket and that my hands and knees are a bit rough from being down on all fours."

Theo's grin widened. "Naughty witch. And?"

Ginny held up two fingers and he grinned.

"Of course he got you off twice."

"And you?"

"What about me?"

Ginny let her eyes travel down his white and gold wedding robes. "You did remember that you're wearing white, right?"

Theo gave her a bewildered look before he looked down at himself. The two distinct grass stains on his knees made him blush. "Bloody hell!"

Ginny laughed. "Come here, I know a great spell to remove stains."

Theo let Ginny lead him off, a big smile on his face. He didn't care about the stains. He just wanted to find his husband and dance with him again. Then he wanted to take him to the private resort he'd booked for them in Puerto Rico where he planned to spend every day of the next fourteen making love with him until they both couldn't move.

He couldn't wait.

January 2006…

Theo couldn't believe it. It was one thing to know that Draco had gotten married, but to think that he was actually a father now as well… it was mind blowing. It seemed as if all of his friends were having babies now. Harry and Ginny had James who would be turning two in April and Ginny was pregnant with their second. Ron and Hermione had their daughter Rose, who was four and a half months old. Pansy and Greg had five with their oldest being nine and their youngest being their only daughter, Giselle, who was seven months old. Now Draco and Astoria were parents and it just boggled his mind.

He headed to Wiltshire Manor to see his friend, looking up at the house with a smile. Draco had really made the manor his own since he'd returned from France. Gone were the dark and gothic touches that his grandfather had insisted on. The place was lighter, more welcoming, and if Theo was honest, looked very much like Draco and Astoria: Classy and a little modern. It had more light, more heart, and it made him feel warm when he stepped inside.

He was greeted by the house elf Draco had hired when he moved back to England, a young male by the name of Jeeves, and headed into the sitting room. He found Astoria sitting in an armchair with a blanket over her lap while Draco stood in front of the fire place, a newborn baby in his arms.

"Hi," Theo said from the doorway.

Draco's face lit up at the sight of him. "Theo, hey! Come meet my son."

Theo moved towards him, smiling down at the newborn. He had wispy pale hair over a mostly bald head and his eyes were closed as he slept peacefully in his father's arms. He'd been born two days earlier on the sixth and Theo knew that Draco had been beside himself with worry over it.

"He's beautiful. Congrats Mum and Dad. Scorpius, right?"

"Yes," Astoria said. "Draco picked it. It wasn't my first choice for a name, but I chose his middle name to be Hyperion. Would you like to hold him, Theo?"

Theo nodded, carefully taking the baby from Draco. "I'm getting better at this now that Jamie's been around for a while," he teased.

Draco smiled. "Hold his head."

"I've got him," Theo assured him. "Hi, Scorp."

"Scorpius," Draco corrected. "I named him after the Scorpius constellation because it's almost in the centre of the Milky Way and he's the centre of our world."

Theo's eyes softened. "Aw. All right, you big softie, I approve then. Hi, Scorpius. I'm your Uncle Theo."

"Well, we'd like you to be more than that," Astoria said, making Theo turn to look at her.

Draco touched Theo's arm. "You've always been one of my closest mates and you've been like a brother to me since we were kids. I want you to be godfather to my son."

Theo's eyes widened. "Really? What about Blaise?"

"I love Blaise," Draco said. "But… he's not exactly the perfect role model, is he? I want him to be in Scorpius' life of course, but it's you who I want to be his godfather. Will you?"

Theo swallowed down the sudden tears he felt rising in his throat. "Draco… yes. Thank you!"

Draco smiled down at his son. "But let's not spoil him too much, all right?"

Theo grinned. "I don't think I ever made that promise."

Astoria chuckled from the sofa. "Good. Don't."

Theo beamed down at the baby in his arms, tears in his eyes, and thought he was going to make sure that Scorpius had the best godfather ever.

21st June, 2006…

Theo held Sebastian's hand in his as they headed to Clevedon Court to meet the newest addition of the Potter family. He couldn't believe that Harry and Ginny now had two children, but he did think it was kind of funny that this one had been conceived at his wedding.

Harry and Ginny had definitely been doing more than just snogging in his gardens, Theo thought with a snicker.

"Why do you think Ginny wants us to come today?" Theo asked Sebastian. "I mean, she only gave birth this morning. I thought she might want a few days before we all descend upon her."

Sebastian shrugged. "Not sure. But she wants us here to meet the new baby. Do you think it's a boy or a girl?"

"Boy," Theo said. "Ginny had a pretty strong feeling about it."

They headed inside and were greeted by Remus and Tonks. James was playing on the floor of the living room as Remus sat on the floor with him with Sirius on the other side. After saying hello, they headed upstairs to the master bedroom to see Harry and Ginny. Theo knocked on the open door jamb and gave them a bright smile.

"Knock, knock. We're here to meet the newest Potter."

Harry beamed at him, his green eyes bright in happiness. Theo thought it was rather unreal how much sexier Harry seemed to get when he was full of joy over holding his children. Draco had been very much the same. Now that he thought about it, so had Ron. Huh, maybe there was something about dads there. He saw the dark haired bundle in Harry's arms, tearing his thoughts away from sexy dads, and his own heart softened.

"Oh, hello there."

Ginny smiled warmly from the bed. She had pillows tucked around her and her red hair was braided down her shoulder. "Hi. Thanks for coming by today."

"We're pleased to," Sebastian said. "Just surprised that you didn't want us to wait a day or two."

Harry gently passed the new baby into Theo's arms with a wide smile. "Well, we wanted you to be one of the first to meet Alby."

"Alby?" Theo asked.

Ginny nodded. "Yeah, Alby, your godson."

Theo's head shot up in surprise, tears in his eyes. "My… what? Really? Me?"

Ginny reached for Harry's hand. "Absolutely. We know that Draco already asked you to be godfather to his son, but Ron's godfather of Jamie and there's no one else that we would even think of before you, Theo. So, will you be Alby's godfather?"

Sebastian wrapped his arm around Theo's waist as they looked down at the sweet dark haired baby boy and Theo nodded, smiling.

"Yes! I'd be so completely honoured. Hear that, Alby, I'm your godfather. I'm going be your favourite uncle in the whole wide world. You can come to me for anything and I promise I won't ever tell your parents."

Ginny chuckled. "Well, we'll talk about that promise."

Theo winked in response and Harry smiled.

"We named him Albus Fleamont Potter, but we've been calling him Alby."

"That's a big name for such a little tyke," Sebastian said. "Naming him after Dumbledore is a lot to live up to."

"I wore Harry down on the name," Ginny said. "Fleamont is for Harry's grandfather and it's perfect. He's perfect."

"I can't wait to introduce him to my other godson," Theo said. "You and Scorpius are going to be great friends."

Harry grimaced. "I'd rather hope that he has better taste than to hang out with a Malfoy, Theo."

Theo waved him off. "We'll talk about it."

When he and Sebastian headed home that night, Theo was still smiling.

"I can't believe they asked me to be his godfather. Me!"

Sebastian smiled and put his arm around his husband. "It makes perfect sense to me, Theo. You're perfect for the job. Plus it's good practice for when we decide to have one of those."

Then he kissed him and Theo couldn't stop smiling; the idea of Sebastian holding their baby bringing back that sexy dad vibe he'd felt earlier. It definitely gave him a lot to think about.

8th September 2006…

Ginny laughed when Theo finished explaining what he wanted her help with. He needed someone he trusted with this and Ginny was the easy answer if he was going to manage to surprise his husband for their first wedding anniversary.

"You're sure?"

"Yes," Theo insisted. "You can do it right?"

Ginny nodded, reaching for her wand. "I can. It will last twenty-four to forty-eight hours."

Theo grinned. "It's perfect then." He dropped his trousers and to the floor and crawled naked onto his bed, lying face down. "I'm ready."

He felt the bed dip next to him a second later and Ginny smiled at him.

"I have to admit, you really do have a nice arse."

Theo chuckled. "I do, don't I? Bas loves it and I really love how much he loves it."

"I figured you must when you concocted this plan," Ginny teased. "All right, stay still."

He felt the hot press of her wand hit his skin and he grinned. This was going to be amazing.

When she finished, she rubbed a lotion over it and wished him luck. "I have to get home to your godson and give him some lunch. Have fun."

Theo thanked her and kissed her cheek, tugging up his trousers as he did. Then he immediately got to work. He lit their entire bedroom in floating candles and turned down the bed. He put a bottle of Veuve Clicquot in a bucket of ice with two glasses that Soraya had bought them for their wedding that said Mr and and Mr. Then he artfully tousled his hair, put lube on the night table, and then checked the time. His husband would be home any minute.

He grabbed one of Sebastian's ties from their wardrobe and carefully tied it into a bow around his cock, giving it a few strokes to plump it up before he pulled on the white silk bathrobe he owned and tied it closed just in time for Sebastian to step into the bedroom. He watched his eyebrows rise at the sight before him.

"Welcome home, Bas," Theo said.

Sebastian dropped his bag on the floor by the door and walked quickly across the room to stand in front of him. He cupped his cheek in his palm and kissed him deeply. "Mmm, what's all this then?"

"Sunday's our first wedding anniversary," Theo said, wrapping his arms around his husband's neck. "I thought since you have the weekend off, we could start celebrating tonight."

"Did you now?" he teased, playing with the tie of Theo's robe.

Theo nodded. "Uh-huh. I have a present for you."

Sebastian started to open the robe, but Theo stopped his hands.

"Nuh-uh, you first."

He smiled before he slowing began to unbutton his shirt, letting it slide off of his muscular shoulders and to the ground as Theo licked his lips. When his trousers hit the ground, leaving him in only his briefs, Theo took his husband's hands and put them on his robe. Sebastian's lips twitched before he slowly opened he robe. His eyes trailed down his body greedily and when he came across the gold tie that was neatly knotted in a bow around his erection, he laughed.

"Oh, baby, I love it."

Theo pinched Sebastian's nipple. "That's for after. There's something else."

Sebastian quirked an eyebrow and when he went to unwrap him, Theo shook his head.

"Not yet."

Theo loved the look of pure joy in his husband's eyes at his words. He sighed as Sebastian slowly pushed the silk robe off of his shoulders and down to the floor and then he let his head fall back when those perfect lips began on his before they roamed down his neck, over his shoulders, and across his pecs. Large, strong hands gripped his arse and he ached for him.

"What am I looking for?" Sebastian asked him, sucking on his earlobe.

"Keep looking," Theo teased. "You'll find it."

A finger teased his crease. "In here?"

"No, but I hope something will be soon."

Sebastian chuckled before he slowly walked around him, kissing his shoulders, his spine, and when he spotted it, he froze. Theo felt his fingers trace over his tailbone and when lips brushed over it, he smiled.

"Do you like it?"

Written in a temporary tattoo across his tailbone were the words: Property of Sebastian Christopher Kane-Nott. Then there was an arrow pointing to his crease.

Sebastian's knees hit the carpet before his tongue began to trace the arrow down and when his tongue stroked him, Theo gasped.

"Bloody hell," Sebastian whispered. "This is the hottest fucking thing I've ever seen."

Then he was one his feet and gone. Theo turned around to frown after his husband and then half a second later, Sebastian returned and urged him down onto the bed. Once he was lying on his stomach, he heard the flash of a camera. He snuck a look over his shoulder.

"Did you just take a photo of me?"

"I need this in print," Sebastian insisted. "May I?"

Theo nodded. "Take as many photos as you want, Auror Arsehole. I trust you."

Sebastian's fingers spread Theo's cheeks open as he snapped another photo. "I so need a photo of you spread out like this, with my name on your body…?"

When the camera flashed a third time before it fell to the bed, Theo rolled over and tackled his husband.

"Look at you, getting all Neanderthal on me, Auror Arsehole."

"Fuck me, I am, aren't I?" Sebastian growled. "I swear I was never this possessive before I met you."

Theo slid his fingers into his husband's hair before he dragged his tongue over his throat. "I shouldn't like it as much as I do."

"I really fucking love that you're wearing my tie around your prick."

"I knew you would, but I'm afraid it's going to be terribly ruined when we're done."

Sebastian captured his mouth in his for a kiss. "Can I unwrap you yet?"

Theo shook his head, kissing his way down Sebastian's chest. "Not yet. But if you ask nicely, you can rim me."

His eyes darkened as he nipped at his mouth. "Baby, can I please rim you?"

Theo kissed his neck. "I don't think you want it enough. Try again."

Theo planted open-mouthed kisses down his chest, tugging his briefs down and exposing him as he kissed his way over his hard cock.

"Baby, I want my tongue inside of you."

Theo licked strips up and down Sebastian's cock. "No."

"Theo… please, let me kiss your pretty hole. I need it."

Theo kissed Sebastian's balls. "It's not mine."

His eyes darkened. "Fuck, it's mine and I'm going to rim you until you can't think."

"That's better, Auror Arsehole," Theo teased.

Sebastian flipped him over and pinned him beneath him with a growl. He rolled him onto his stomach, cupping his arse in his hands and kneading it, staring at his name printed above Theo's arse. "You are so fucking beautiful."

Then his hot, wet tongue took charge and Theo groaned into the mattress.

"Mmm."

By the time he was finished playing, Theo was begging to come. When he finally let Sebastian unwrap the tie once he was buried deep inside of him, he came embarrassingly quickly. Sebastian kept moving in and out of him until he finished and Theo cried out of his name, holding on tightly as he smiled at his man.

"Happy Anniversary," Theo whispered, sighing when Sebastian spooned him behind. "Best first year of marriage ever."

Sebastian chuckled and kissed the back of his neck, snuggling him close. "Every day with you is the best."

"Even when you're cross with me?"

"Even then," he said, kissing his bicep.

"Sebastian?"

"Mmm?"

Theo turned, rolling over to face his husband. "I think that I might wanna talk about the baby thing now."

Sebastian's eyes widened almost comically. "Er, oh?"

"Holding little Alby, my godson. And holding Scorpius, my other godson… it's just hitting me that… I think I might be ready to be a dad. I know I'm definitely ready to see you as a dad. You're going to be such a bloody sexy dad. A definite DILF."

Sebastian brushed his fingertip over Theo's lips. "You're going to be an amazing dad yourself and you're always bloody sexy."

Theo smiled. "Is that a yes?"

"Yes," Sebastian said with a soft smile. "I've been thinking about it too. I was going to bring it up around your birthday if I was still feeling like it's time."

"Yeah?"

"Yes," he repeated, his lips curving. "Let's do it."

Theo grinned. "All right, but you're going to be the one to get pregnant. Ow! You pinched me."

"Because you're a brat," Sebastian said. "We do need to make some decisions though. Do we want to find a surrogate or adopt? Do we want to adopt a baby or an older kid? It's a lot of questions that we need to really think about."

"All right, fine. I'll carry the baby."

Sebastian rolled his eyes. "Theo…"

He smiled and snuggled up closer. "I'm listening. Let's look at our options and go from there."

He kissed his forehead. "All right. We can start looking into it tomorrow morning."

"Monday," Theo corrected. "This weekend, I just want to stay in bed with you and do very bad and filthy things."

"How filthy?" Sebastian asked, lifting an eyebrow.

Theo pressed his lips against his husband's chest. "Incredibly filthy. In fact, we should go clean up so that we can get dirty again."

Sebastian pulled him to his feet and then lifted him, locking his legs around his waist. "Shower now."

Then he carried him to the bath as Theo laughed, falling more in love with him every moment.

~ KE: Theo I ~

It took them over a month to get things organized and to make a plan. After talking to Padma and a few other people, they decided that they wanted to have their own baby. This meant that they needed to find someone to carry their child. Padma helped them go through the list of people who had donated eggs and they chose a witch based on physical attributes that sounded similar to themselves: Dark brown hair, blue eyes, and magical. All they knew was that she worked with the Ministry of Magic, had high NEWT scores, and had been twenty-five when she'd donated.

The hard part was now to find someone willing to carry their child for them. The healers at Carmenta's Clinic who would be doing the procedure had given them a stack of folders to go through with potential surrogates and Theo had to admit, it was a bit daunting.

They headed to the Kane home for a Sunday dinner to celebrate Theo's twenty-seventh birthday, planning to tell Spencer and Sadira their plan, and were met by Beau DeRose at the door.

"Beau!" Sebastian greeted in surprise, hugging his brother-in-law. "What are you doing here?"

"Surprising you," Beau said as seven-year-old Felix came running to the door.

"Uncle Bas! Uncle Theo!"

"Hey, Felix!" Sebastian said, hugging his nephew tightly. "This is a great surprise."

Amara, who was nine, hugged Theo before going to Sebastian. "Maman said that it was going to be a surprise."

"The best one," Theo said, kissing her cheek and then hugging Felix.

When they headed into the living room they found not only Spencer, Sadira, and Selene, but Soraya was sitting on the sofa.

"Soraya!" Sebastian said, his face brightening.

Soraya had been incredibly busy with work and they hadn't seen her since their wedding last year. Once everyone was reacquainted, they sat down with for tea. Selene told them that with Piper in her second year at Beauxbatons, they'd decided to take a weekend and head to England to see everyone since Soraya had sent word that she would be heading home.

"I know it's been mad that I haven't been back in almost a year," Soraya said. "I've missed everyone! How's married life?"

Theo grinned. "Married life is great."

"Only took you forever to go through with it," she teased.

Sebastian stuck his tongue out at his sister. "We weren't in a rush."

Some bickering followed and Soraya laughed as she told them how she'd just spent a month in Australia and had stayed with Auntie Deanna and Auntie Michelle. She told them about how well they were doing and how they were making plans to come to England again for Christmas.

"Oh, that would be lovely," Sadira said. "Spencer and I were talking about even going up to Australia next summer and spending a few weeks with them."

"And how's the birthday coming along for you, Theo?" Spencer asked.

Theo smiled. "It's going all right. I can't believe I'm twenty-seven, but time definitely has a way of surprising us."

"That it does," Spencer agreed.

"We've been talking actually," Sebastian said, reaching for Theo's hand. "Maman, Da, Theo and I have decided that we're going to have a baby."

Sadira's eyes widened. "Oh! C'est merveilleux! Really!"

Theo grinned. "Really."

Theo and Sebastian explained the process and how they had an egg donor lined up and how they were looking through files to find the perfect surrogate to carry the child. Selene asked questions about the eggs and Theo explained how they had chosen based on similar physical attributes to themselves.

"We don't know who it is and we have no way of knowing. It protects the donor and us with everything. It's still a ways off of course as we still have to find a surrogate and then go through with the procedure and hope it takes…"

"Expensive," Beau said with a whistle.

Theo nodded, smiling at his husband when he squeezed his hand. "It's a lot, but we're willing to try and we definitely have the money."

Soraya chuckled. "That's true. Bastian married his own personal sugar daddy."

"Shut up, Soraya!" Sebastian hissed, his ears burning.

Theo kissed his husband's cheek. "He certainly did. Anyway, money's not a problem, but going about it this way, we have more than one chance in case it doesn't take, so that's good too."

"Who's going to donate the sperm?" Selene asked.

Sebastian took Theo's hand in is. "We both are. The healer suggested that we both donate and then if everything looks good they will see who's takes first. We won't know and it will be a surprise."

"A great surprise," Theo said with a big smile. "We're excited and slightly terrified."

"Totally terrified," Sebastian agreed, kissing Theo's fingers. "Maman, perhaps you can help us choose someone to be the surrogate. It's… a lot."

Sadira promised to help and talk turned to babies as Theo spoke about his two godsons, Scorpius and Albus, and how well they were both doing. They had pot roast for dinner with mashed potatoes and carrots and Sadira brought out a large chocolate cake with 'Happy Birthday Theo' written in green icing. He beamed at it as he blew out his candles and they all dug into the cake.

When they said goodbye for the night, Sadira pulled Theo close and kissed his cheeks. "Mon rayon de soleil, I hope you have the best birthday this year."

Theo hugged her tight. "I always do. Thank you for everything, Maman."

She kissed him again, beaming like she always did since he'd started calling her that. "Anything for you, Theo."

They headed home, smiling and Theo thought he couldn't wait to take this next step into their future.

~ KE: Theo I ~

Sebastian was just leaving work for the evening a few days later when he caught sight of his sister outside of the Magical Intelligence Agency in Londonderry. He waved and she waved back as he headed over to talk to her. She had her hand shoved in her pockets and her coat was pulled up against the late October wind. Her dark brown hair was flying in the wind around her.

"Hey, Soraya," he said, nudging her with his shoulder. "What are you doing out here?"

"Waiting for you," Soraya said, grabbing his arm. "Can we grab a drink?"

Sebastian frowned, eyeing her carefully before he nodded. "Sure. Let me just let Theo know I'll be late."

He sent a quick Patronus to his husband before he let Soraya lead him to a Muggle pub down the road called Pint Off and they took a seat in a booth. They both had pints of Harp in front of them in moments and Soraya played with the rim of her glass until Sebastian took her hands in his.

"Hey, you all right?"

"Hmm? Oh, yeah, I'm fine." When he raised an eyebrow, she sighed. "It's just been a really long year. I'm glad to be home."

"What's going on, Ray-ray?"

Soraya's eyes softened at his childish name for her. "I've missed you and Theo and… everyone. I love working in Indonesia. I do, but…"

"Come home," Sebastian said, squeezing her hand.

Soraya shrugged. "I applied for a transfer to Gringotts here. I'm… considering it."

"I would love to have you closer," Sebastian said. "Especially once Theo and I get this baby thing going. This baby will need at auntie close by."

Soraya smiled. "I'd love that." She tapped her long nails against her beer glass. "That's part of what I wanted to talk to you about. Me and my life and… I love being single, Bastian. I like to hook up when I need something, but being with someone day in and day out, it just doesn't appeal to me. I've always known that about myself and I've always known that as much as I love children, I certainly don't want any."

"There's nothing wrong with that," Sebastian said. "No one says that you have to do the marriage and baby thing. I can't imagine doing it with anyone other than Theo."

She nodded. "You two are just so perfect for each other, you know that? I love seeing you together. You have this vibe around you that's just pure happiness. There's a reason why Maman calls Theo her little ray of sunshine. I don't think I've ever seen you as happy as you are when you're with him. He's so full of life and energy and he's also so kind and generous. He makes you smile and he makes you laugh and Merlin, does the man flirt! I love seeing how that doesn't bother you. You… trust each other, Bas. It's a beautiful thing."

"I love him," Sebastian said simply.

"I know and it's not always that simple, but you two make it work. I'm so happy that you're going to have a baby together. The two of you just have so much love between you and I know that you'll make a baby incredibly lucky to have you as dads."

"Thank you," he replied.

Soraya let out a slow breath. "It's why I've decided that I want to be the one to make it happen for you."

Sebastian frowned. "I don't understand…"

Soraya reached out to take her brother's hands in hers again. "I want to be the one to give you a baby, Bastian. If you use my eggs and Theo's sperm, the baby would be a Kane and a Nott by blood."

Sebastian's mouth opened in surprise. That had been the last thing he'd expected to come out of his big sister's mouth. "But… you just said… you don't want children."

"No, I don't," Soraya said. "But it wouldn't be my child, it would be yours. I mean, technically the baby would be mine biologically, but… I don't want to be a mother. I want to be that really cool auntie."

"But… what if we wanted more than one baby?" Sebastian began. "Soraya, this is really generous of you, but Theo and I have this all planned out. We want to have two, maybe even three or four children some day. If we use the eggs we chose, it gives us an opportunity to have more than one baby all from the same donor and…"

Soraya squeezed his hand. "I want to do this, Sebastian. I'm thirty-four. I'm in great health and as a witch, I have fifteen to sixteen great child-bearing years left. If it makes you and Theo happy and gives you the family you want… I'll do it a million times over."

Tears welled up in Sebastian's eyes and he blinked them back. "You don't know what you're asking… Soraya, this will change your whole life."

"I could use a shakeup," she said. "Plus, you can let me live with you and take care of me while I house your adorable spawn."

A laugh bubbled up from Sebastian's chest. "You're really serious about this?"

"Completely," Soraya said. "What do you say, Bastian?"

Sebastian took a drink of his beer before he stood up. "Let's talk to Theo."

Theo was just as shocked as Sebastian at her generous offer. They talked about it in great length for over an hour before Soraya told them to take a few days and think about it. When she left, Theo turned into his husband's arms and buried his face in his chest.

"Wow."

"I know," Sebastian said, stroking his hands up and down Theo's spine. "She blew me away with this offer. I never expected…"

"She's really willing to do this for us? To carry our child and then give them to us to raise?"

"I know," Sebastian repeated. "It's a lot."

"It's more than a lot," Theo said. "It would be different than a surrogate because the baby would be hers, Bas. Biologically, she would be their mother."

Sebastian framed Theo's face in his hands. "Yeah, but it would be my blood, Theo. Mine and yours together. Ours."

Tears filled Theo's eyes. "It's too much. We'd never be able to repay her."

Sebastian pressed his lips to Theo's forehead. "I know that too. What do you think we should do?"

"Buy her a small country as a thank you?"

He chuckled. "We'll keep that as a backup option."

Theo sighed as he looked up into his husband's blue eyes. "I do like the idea of the baby being part of me and part of you though."

"Me too," Sebastian whispered. "But the baby doesn't have to be part of both of us to be ours either. I would love any child we were lucky enough to be blessed with."

"Me too," Theo admitted.

They stood there, holding each other for the longest time before Theo finally spoke.

"I think we should tell her yes."

Sebastian smiled. "I think so too."

Theo bit his bottom lip. "Are we really doing this, Bas?"

"We're really doing this," Sebastian replied.

They told Soraya the next day who immediately told them that she would get things together and organized. She wanted to move back to England first to be closer to them and that meant transferring to Gringotts here in England. It would take a few months to get things together, but they were willing to wait.

It took a bit longer than she would have hoped, but by May, Soraya was living with Spencer and Sadira while she looked for a flat and starting her new job at Gringotts in London. Spencer and Sadira were ecstatic to have their daughter back home and close by and when they learned what she planned to do for Sebastian and Theo, they were even happier.

By June, Soraya was visiting the healers to get ready and by October, they discovered it had worked and she was pregnant. Theo and Sebastian were incredibly excited. They turned Theo's childhood bedroom into a nursery and when they found out that they were having a boy, immediately began to discuss baby names. Soraya moved in with them by December so that they could go with her to all of the appointments (and pamper her, Theo insisted). She took one of the bedroom suites and Theo revelled in getting to feel his son move in her belly.

On the twentieth of May, 2008, their son was born. They named him Benjamin Christopher Kane-Nott after the Quidditch player Benjamin London. Theo teased Sebastian over the name choice, but the more he heard the name, the more it grew on him. He had a shocking amount of dark hair and Theo was the first one to hold him.

"Meet your son, Da."

Tears rolled down Theo's cheeks as Sebastian wrapped his arms around him as they stared down at the tiny baby in their arms. Theo had decided he wanted to be called Da like Sebastian called his father.

"Hi, Ben," Theo murmured. "We're your dads."

"He's perfect," Sebastian whispered, his cheek pressed against Theo's. "Isn't he perfect?"

Soraya was beaming at them from the bed. Her hair was damp and she looked tired with tears in her eyes. "Of course he's perfect, Papa. Now someone get me a glass of wine and a bubble bath."

Theo laughed and carefully passed Ben to Sebastian before he hurried over to hug Soraya tightly, kissing her cheek. "I adore you, Soraya Kane. Wherever you want to go, I will send you on the best holiday of your life. You will never want for anything ever again!"

Soraya smiled and hugged him back. "Anything for you, Theo. Now go bond with your son and let me get some rest. I'll start being the cool auntie tomorrow."

Sebastian beamed down at Ben as Theo hurried back over to coo over him. He was definitely perfect.

"He's going to have Bas' eyes," Theo declared when Ginny took hold of Ben for the first time two days later. "I just know he is, but I think his hair will be a bit more of my brown than Bas' dark brown. Isn't he perfect?"

"He really is," Ginny said, kissing the top of the baby's head. "Hi, Ben. I'm your Auntie Ginny. You're a beautiful boy."

Theo preened as if she'd just complimented him. "Isn't he though?"

Albus who was looking at the baby in interest, moved to crawl into Theo's lap. "Up!"

Theo chuckled and cuddled Albus close. "Don't worry, Alby. You and Ben will be the best of friends."

Sebastian was cradling Lily in his arms who was already six months old. Her red hair was the same as her mother's in hues of sunlight and her eyes were identical to Ginny's warm brown ones. Harry was completely besotted with his daughter, especially when he realized that his daughter was going to look so much like his wife.

"Lily and Ben will go to Hogwarts together," Sebastian said. "Alby can look out for them."

Theo kissed Albus' cheek, making the toddler laugh. He was only a month away from his second birthday and Theo was pretty sure the kid was more adorable every day. He was the spitting image of Harry. It was almost eerie how similar the two looked right down to the shape and colour of their eyes.

"Uncle Theo," James said, hopping up onto the sofa next to him. "How come everyone's having so many babies?"

James, who had recently turned four, wrinkled his nose down at Ben.

Theo slipped his arm around James with a smile. "Uncle Bas and I decided that we wanted to make some babies for you to play with, Jamie."

James gave him a distrustful look. "I'm tired of babies."

"Jamie," Ginny said, giving her eldest son a look.

"Lily doesn't count, Mummy," James said. "Lily's the best!"

Sebastian grinned, kissing Lily's forehead when the girl snuggled into his shoulder. "She certainly is the best. I think I'd like to have a daughter some day."

Theo's eyes softened as he looked over at his husband. "Me too."

Ginny passed Ben back to Theo with a soft smile. "You two are going to great dads. If you need help with anything or have any questions, Harry and I are always willing to answer them. How's Soraya doing?"

"She's doing great," Sebastian admitted. "I was worried it would be too much for her, but she's doing amazing. She says being pregnant was eye opening and she loves Ben with everything she has, but she's happy he's not going to be hers. She's going to be an amazing auntie."

"Yeah, she is," Theo said, smiling at his husband.

"How is she handling everything?" Ginny asked. "I know she wanted to do this, but after carrying a baby for nine months… you become attached."

"She's doing good," Sebastian said. "She promises she's good. She said she's a little sad, but she honestly doesn't want to be a mother and wants to be nothing more than an auntie. She's a lot stronger than she looks."

"She's amazing," Theo declared. "We're sending her on the best holiday of her life whenever and wherever she wants to go."

"Good," Ginny said, pressing a kiss to Benjamin's head. "She most certainly deserves it."

"Where's my grand baby?" Sadira demanded, coming into the living room with her arms open. She hurried across the room and kissed both of Theo's cheeks before she scooped Ben up into her arms. "Bonjour, Ben!"

Sebastian grinned. "I think Maman is going to drive us mad."

"Shush, Bastian!" Sadira said, smiling down at her grandson in awe. "He's beautiful."

"Isn't he?" Theo beamed again, standing up to look down at his son in his grandmother's arms.

Sadira smiled and passed Ben back to Theo when he began to fuss. "I'll let his Da feed him, but I will hover."

Theo took a seat back on the sofa as Sadira hurried off to make a bottle for Ben. As he held his son in his arms, holding the bottle to his mouth with Albus snuggled against his side as he watched in awe, he thought that this was what happiness truly felt like.

It was why a year later they decided to try for a second one.

Soraya once again underwent the procedure for them and when she told them that she was pregnant, Theo could barely contain his excitement.

They had a second son on the third of July, 2010 whom they named Spencer Thelonius Kane-Nott. Theo loved being a dad and hearing his sons call him Da was the greatest thing he could ever imagine, but when Ben asked for Papa and Sebastian's entire demeanour softened; he knew that he fell more in love with his man every day.

It was why they decided to try for one more.

"We need three," Theo said, kissing Sebastian's cheek after the boys were tucked in one night. "Three just like in your family."

Sebastian smiled as Theo crawled between his legs, his cheek resting over his heart. He wrapped his arms around his husband, his hands sliding up and down his back. "Yeah? It would be nice to have a little girl, but another boy would be great too."

"What do you think?" Theo asked.

"Let's talk to Soraya. If she's willing to do it one more time, let's do it."

Soraya was more than willing. She told them that carrying their sons had been the most rewarding thing she'd ever done and she would love to do it once more.

"Theo's right, three's the magical number," she said. "Besides, I know I'll get to go on an awesome holiday after. Sun, sand, and sex."

"Sex with who?" Sebastian demanded.

Soraya winked. "Whomever I want."

They were blessed with a daughter on the tenth of September, 2013 which happened to be their eighth wedding anniversary. Theo sat on Sebastian's lap, cradling the dark haired little girl in his arms as he blinked through his tears.

"I want to call her Sadie," he whispered.

Sebastian kissed Theo's cheek. "Sadie… that's beautiful, baby. I thought you wanted to name her Aster, after your mum."

"I do," Theo said. "But I like Sadie more. Sadira Aster Soraya Kane-Nott," he whispered. "But we'll call her Sadie."

Sebastian kissed Theo's cheek again. "Sadie. It's perfect. She's perfect."

"Smile," Soraya said from the bed, holding up a camera. "Sadie needs her first photo with her Papa and her Da."

Theo and Sebastian beamed into the camera as it flashed and when Sadira and Spencer brought in Ben and Spencer to meet their new little sister, there were lots of smiles all around.

Life had turned out pretty good.
