Getting Back To Town, Stop
Some time later that day, both Sedimentary and Maud Pie, and of course, Maud Pie's pet rock, Boulder had finally returned back to their town.
"Well," Sedimentary said, "That was a lot of fun." "Yes," Maud Pie agreed, "We agree." "Right," Sedimentary said.
After a series of unstable island and volcanoes, the two have decided to take a rest for the rest of the day. "So what now?" Maud Pie asked.
"Not sure," Sedimentary answered flatly, "I can't think of anything." "That's all right now," Maud Pie said.
"Hey," Sedimentary said, "I love you for who you are. Don't let jerks like that one back there tell you otherwise or let what he'd said about you get to you." "Don't worry," Maud Pie answered, "I won't."
"Just wanted to take care of you," Sedimentary said, "I can't let anything happen to you. Especially when comments like that get to you." "It's okay," Maud Pie said, "I won't let it ruin my life. That pony was just a jerk. And Boulder enjoyed his show."
This finally calmed Sedimentary down. He'd finally understood. "It's over now," he'd said to himself, "Well, this day is done anyway."
"You're right," Maud Pie agreed, "The day is finished and tomorrow will be another day." "Yes," Sedimentary said, "Well, I know that something is going on tomorrow. But it's just that I just don't know what it will be."
"That's okay," Maud Pie said, "Tomorrow is just tomorrow." "And right now," said Sedimentary, "We're back in town. So let's go home."
"All right," Maud Pie replied and the two ponies returned to their homes and got settled down for the evening.
Today is an interesting day for the two and nearly dangerous.
At nightfall, Sedimentary looked out of his window, thinking about what adventures he and his girlfriend will have in the future. "Well," he said, "Hopefully it'll be less dangerous and more rocky."
He couldn't believe what he had said.
