Dreams of the Uncharted Voyage

I had been having strange dreams about a guy named Jackson. Every time I did, I would wake up on a ship, as if I were really there. It was weird because it felt like I was talking to a real person. Lost in my thoughts one day while walking across the street, I was brought back to reality when I heard yelling. But it was too late. Before I even realized it, I was on the ground. Everything hurt, and the last thing I heard before I blacked out was, "Somebody call the police."

I woke up in a very comfortable bed. I shot up, and to my surprise, I was perfectly fine. I looked around the room, and it was quite nice. Suddenly, I heard footsteps approaching the cabin's door. As soon as it opened, I lay back down and pretended to be sleeping. I heard the footsteps coming closer to me, and I felt the bed dip beside me. A hand caressed my face – it was rough yet smooth, yet gentle.

Unconsciously, I leaned into the touch, enjoying the feeling. After a while, I felt lips touch my forehead, and then I heard footsteps leaving, taking the warmth of their touch with them. I waited for a while to make sure I was alone before I opened my eyes and got off the bed. I checked to see if I was decent, and to my relief, I was. Feeling relieved, I left the cabin.

Feeling the fresh air on my skin, I breathed a sigh of relief and inhaled the scent of the sea. I headed to the side of the ship and looked over the edge, but I started feeling a little nauseous and stopped. My thoughts were interrupted when a man called my attention.

I turned around, not wanting to cause any trouble, and he walked up to me.

"What's a small lady like you doing aboard this ship?" he asked, eyeing me curiously.

I rubbed my hand as the cold breeze brushed against my skin. Just as I was about to speak, the ship's bell rang.

"Land ho! Land ho! In positions! We're home, at last!" one of the crewmen yelled.

Without hesitation, the man ran to his position, leaving me standing there, confused. I wondered, "Where am I? What happened, and what did I get myself into?"
