Meanwhile back with Aunt May, she was desperately worried for Peter. She had been waiting for an hour. This time she starts to call the police to have them find him. May was still worried about him. She then gets a call from someone and answers.
"Hello," said May. She wasn't in the mood to be taking calls from people unless it's the police about her son. To her surprised the voice feels familiar to her. "Uh Mrs. Parker?" She feels confused on who it was and asked her, "Who is this?" They finally give their name. "It's... Michelle." "Sorry I don't know anyone named...wait MJ?" She asked her and was happy to hear from her. "Hi Mrs. Parker. It's been awhile," said Michelle who sounds nervous, but happy. "Oh my god it's been awhile. I bet Peter will be so happy to meet you but... he's gone." This made Michelle very worried for her childhood friend. "I'll be there. Can you tell you where you are? I can get my parents to bring me here." "Okay. Thank you." She hangs up and looks out the window. "Please be safe..."
Meanwhile back with Batman and Spider-Man back at the asylum, a guard wakes up and opens the door for them. They finally notice this and walk towards the guard. "Batman over here," The guard exclaimed to them. "They came out of nowhere! I dragged Jerry in here, powered up the gate. Must have passed out." Spider-Man asked the guard, "Well what's inside that door? Joker managed to get away over there." The guard looks at Spider-Man and answered him. "We call it Extreme Isolation. Only way in is via the transport system." Spider-Man nodded at him and was about to ask him to open it until Batman asks so nicely. "Open it," Batman demands the guard. Spider-Man thought, 'Sheesh, ever heard of asking?' The guard was intimidated a little before nodding. "Not a problem. I'll just need to call another cell." As he was working, the screen came on on the security monitor.
It showed Joker. "Having a little trouble up there," asked the clown prince of crime. This made the web crawler surprised. Then Batman replied, "Joker." "You were expecting maybe Two-Face?" Spider-Man wanted to ask what he meant by Two-Face, but knows that now isn't the time. Batman told Joker, "There is no escape Joker." Joker however replied, "Silly Bat! I don't want to escape. I'm having way too much fun! I even have you here to keep a smile on my face. Oh? I forgot to say! Just in case you and bug boy are planning to follow me, I've arranged a little insurance. Gordon is on his way to Harley as we speak." They notice the footage Joker showed of Officer boles knocking out the police commissioner. "Officer Boles," said Batman and Spider-Man looks down and felt guilty. "Damn it...I should've stayed with him to make sure he was safe.." Joker laughed before returning to look at them. He replied, "If I see any of you trying to follow me, he dies. Harley is looking forward to it. Maybe I'll film it and post it on the internet!" The screen cuts to black and Spider-Man walked off to think about this to himself. Batman walks up to him and starts to talk to him. "Blaming yourself is not the answer." "I know, but maybe I would've stopped Boles and make sure Gordon is still okay." Batman listened to him and place his hand on his shoulder to comfort him. "Even if you were back there you wouldn't know what Joker would planned for that." The young hero listened to him and nodded. He thought, 'He must be right. Joker seems more clever than he looks. I just hope Gordon would be okay.'
The guard kept trying to open the door but had no luck. "The transport system is down. Best I can do is open the door you came in. Sorry." Batman thinks for a second before responding to Spider-Man. "We need to head back to the Holding Cells. Boles wasn't too smart. He'll left a trail." As soon as they started to movie Batman noticed Barbara called him on his communicator in his cowl. "Batman! What's happening?" "Joker's escaped. He sealed himself off. He's got your father..." This has Spider-Man invested a lot. "Dad..." said Barbara who was worried about what is going to happen to the commissioner. "Don't worry I'm getting him back." "Okay I know, but..." "Oracle I'm getting him back. Joker will not win. I won't let him. Me and Spider-Man are starting where he was taken. A guard named Frank Boles attacked him. If I find Frank, I'll find your father." Barbara went ahead and ask him, "Did you find anything on Spider-Man?" "I will tell you soon." He hangs up and Spider-Man questioned him. "So who was that just now?" Batman looks at him before replying. "You'll know when you are trusted." "Sheesh remind me never to tell any of my secrets too," muttered Spider-Man.
They then start to see one of the tvs in the asylum turn on and it showed Joker. "I bet you're wondering how I did it? Was it a clue that the Great Detective missed? Oh, me and Frankie go way back! I got him out of a spot of... Bother a few years ago. So when I need security codes or an old man to be clubbed to the ground, I know just the man to ask." This makes Spider-Man a lot more upset by Boles' betrayal.
When they kept moving they run into a few immates. They started fighting them. "You guys ever think that it's stupid to fight superheroes? Wait you guys work for a clown. No wonder you guys fight us without thinking," said Spider-Man when he starts fighting one of the thugs and quipped. Batman countered one thug who tried strike from behind. Spider-Man kicked the other thug and shoots webs to make him stick to the wall. Batman finished off the last thug. They finally made it to the holding cells. Batman called Oracle again. "Oracle we're at the Holding Cells. I'm setting up a crime scene." "So what's the plan? Isolate something in that room unique to Boles?" Batman went ahead and agreed with her. He used Detective Vision and scanned the room for evidence. "Is there anything I can use for evidence," said Spider-Man and Batman gave him no answer. This makes him annoyed. "Look I know you don't trust me, but I need to stop the Joker. It is my responsibility now. I can't just let him get away after what he has done."
Batman thinks about this before giving him a small ear piece. He looks at this when Batman gave it to him. "I can't give you detective vision for now. But you can put this on your ear." Spider-Man lifts the right side of his mask to only show his ear and placed the ear piece in his right ear. "Thanks Batman." Batman noticed a strange spilled flask on the ground. "It seems Boles dropped his flash...sloppy. Let's see what the forensic scanner picks up." He scanned the flask. "We can follow the traces of alcohol from Frank's bourbon in the atmosphere." Spider-Man nodded as they both followed the trail. Batman then called the person on his communicator. "Oracle we got a trail." Spider-Man was surprised to hear the voice. "That's great. You follow it. I'm grabbing every reference to Arkham I can find. May be useful later." Peter responded to Oracle, "Finally I get to know who is this" Oracle was surprised too. She didn't expect Bruce to trust someone like that. "I'm guessing you are the Spider-Man from New York. Didn't expect you to be a kid. Welcome to the team kid."
They followed the trail all the way through a door and sees a guard trying to get the elevator to work. "Stupid...unreliable...How did Joker get free," asked the guard when he heard the two get in here. Batman replied, "Be quiet." "What's going on and who's the kid?" The three noticed a someone making a strange thump. It was of course, Harley Quinn who just landed on the counterweight. "Harley Quinn...," muttered Spider-Man as he was surprised to meet the female jester. "Uh, uh, uh, uh, B-Man! Mr. J doesn't want you or the little bug following us just yet." She pulls out a detonator and press it. This cause her to make the counterweight she was on flew up. Spider-Man's spider sense started going on and he looks at the guard and Batman. "Guys something is coming!" Batman realizes this too and he is starting to hear the elevator going down at great speed. "Get down," exclaimed the dark knight as he get the guard out of the way and Spider-Man gets back before the elevator crashes down. They were very lucky they were far from the impact of the crash.

AN: The Spider-Man in this story is not the MCU version of him. I added Michelle Jones in here to do something different than add Mary Jane or Gwen Stacy. I really hope none of you will hate me for that decision. Please do not send me hate in the reviews or in private messaging. For any of you who enjoy this story and/or the others I am still doing like PokéHearts Final Mix, I hope you guys are doing well and tell me what you think of my stories.
