A/N: sorry it took me a whole extra month to post again, I hope you have had a safe end of your year. I had to drag this chapter out of my mind kicking and screaming. I re-wrote this chapter 3 times because it just didn't sit right when I finished it the first 2 times.

Xx T.S. xX

Tony's morning already started him off in a bad mood. Pepper said that they had to hurry back to meet with the people from AIM, but it was not a meeting so much as their assistant coming to the office to set up a meeting with their CEO and Pepper.

'Not that that could have been done over the phone' Tony thought with an eye roll. He had J looking into this Aldridge Kilian. He didn't like the look of him and had called Happy back to the U.S. to keep Pepper safe now that Mia was in school. Hellen had said that she didn't need to be followed around all the time.

Tony thought that his morning was going to get better when he got the email from Mia. The first half of the email about being taken as an apprentice made Tony smile, of course his girl would be able to skip traditional schooling. She was too smart for that. It was what came after that made Tony's brief smile fade again.

"WHAT!" Tony yelled as he read Hermione's explanation of why she was asking for him to sign the forms, the birthday present that her mom sent and asking for him to look into what made her act so weird.

"J, I want you to start looking in on Helen. She is acting weird and I want to know what changed from the time we left till now. Also keep a window open in the upstairs spare bedroom, we have an owl incoming. Let me know when it gets here."

Tony rubbed the space between his eyes, a headache building in the back on his head. 'why can't things be easy. Just once.' He thought to him self as he reached for some Ibuprofen. This was going to be a long day.

Xx H.G. a week later xX

Hermione was walking out of Twilfitt and Tattings in her new black robes lined in silver with green embroidery of her master's sigil. (a serpent wrapped around a wand above a cauldron with a crown on its head. It turns out her master was the last of the Prince family line.) As she walked out, she was met with looks of wonder as apprentices were normally graduates making Hermione a spectacle. Not that it was not the norm for Hermione being a child prodigy and all. Hermione kept her head high as she walked to the bookstore to meet up with her new master.

Hermione and Snape had already gone to the Ministry to get Hermione registered and have the trace removed from her wand as she was now Snape's responsibility to regulate her magic use. Meaning that she was able to do magic away from school so long as she had permission from her master.

Hermione walked into the shop and started looking for her master. After seeing he was not here Hermione decided to buy as many different potions books as she could find as well as texts on enchanting items. After grabbing one of all the ones on the normal shelfs she asked the clerk to also get her any obscure ones they had in the back and add them to the pile, price was no issues.

Mr. Blott remembered this time not to question Hermione and sent the aid to the back to grab the books for Hermione.

Just as she finished her shopping Hermione's new master walked in the door. Professor Snape had picked up some more potions ingredients that he needed to teach Hermione how to properly prep. Together they still had one more stop. Stark tower in London. With Happy having to head back to the states Hermione had to go pick up her mobile lab herself.

Snape walked out of the store with Hermione offering her his arm as soon as they got to the apparition point and together, they disapperated to the alley a block away from the building. Right before they walked out of the alley Professor Snape transfigured their robes into suits. Hermione's with a pencil skirt and kitten heels instead of her new dragon hide boots. Hermione looked to the Professor raising one eyebrow in his own signature look before he gave it right back. The 2 of them had come to the agreement that they were both smart enough to treat each other like adults outside of the classroom.

They nodded before turning back to walk out of the alley, Hermione with a small smirk on her face. She was wondering how well this would go. After all this was her first time basically announcing that she was a Stark to people not in her family or the magical world.

They walked into the building up to the desk where a young woman greeted them.

"Welcome to the new London Stark tower! Mr. Stark is not currently in. If you have business with him or Stark industries, please leave your information and Mr. Stark will contact you if he is interested." She said to them as if she had practiced that spiel for just this moment. The woman was staring at the Professor and so was shocked when Hermione spoke.

"Good afternoon. I am actually here to pick up a mobile lab that was left here by Mr. Happy Hoggin for me. The package should be a few crates." Hermione said with a smirk. She was waiting for the lady to ask her name.

"What would be the name for that pick-up miss?" The flustered woman said.

"Miss. Mia Stark" Hermione said as her smirk turned into a full smile.

The poor woman turned from flustered to mad to scared before saying "Stark!?"

"That would be correct, you see my father kind of bought this place so he could be close to me while I am at school. The point being to keep me hidden till I am older and its safe for people to know I exist. That being said if tabloids suddenly know of me you will wish you didn't exist. Now I need my new lab which we are here to pick up. So, if you please show us to the warehouse so me and my Professor can load it up and head back to my school."

"Right away Miss. Stark! Please follow me!" the poor woman managed to say before leading them to the back room where the 3 crates containing her new lab where sitting.

"You can leave us. I need to check that everything is here before I send it. Also, I don't need a babysitter." Hermione said to the receptionist.

The lady bowed before leaving. "L.A.I.L. email dad and have that woman sign an NDA. Also let him know that I picked up the lab. Oh, and send him the new schematic for your body, I fixed the problem I was having with the shoulder joints. I want his thoughts about it before I start building them."

"Right away My lady."

"Master, this store house doesn't have any cameras, can you shrink these for me?" Hermione asked as she put her hands behind her back. Acting like she was innocent and asking for his help wasn't her plan all along.

"very well apprentice, just remember that I agreed to do this for you so that if everything were to my liking you would build me my own private lab just like it." Snape said as he quickly shrunk the crates and put them in his pockets.

"I remember master!" Hermione said back with a smile on her face as she turned around to start heading out of the warehouse, Snape following on her heels.

"Thank you miss secretary, expect your boss to be down with some paperwork soon. We are going to head back to school. I am sure you will see me again sooner or later. Ta-Ta!" Hermione said as she walked past the front desk and out the door. As they made it to the alley the Professor held out his arm and apparated them back to Hogsmeade.

A/N: I am sooo sorry again for this update taking so long and for it being so short. It's been super cold here and it just wreaks havoc on my wrists, mix in that my brain just didn't want to give this chapter up… and we have late uploads. I want to say again that there is no set schedule for this story as I upload as I write it but I did plan to have this up in January so I will call it late. Also, to the comments about my problems with tenses, please remember that this story is un-betaed. Meaning that its just me and spell checker… I will miss things and if you want semi-regular uploads, I will not have time to go over every chapter with a fine-tooth comb to find all my mistakes. If you like the story it means that I got the idea through even with my mistakes and that is the important part.
