I do not own Harry Potter, only an OC that may or may not appear.

Hello guys, Badger here. Are you feeling alright? Because I'm not. I have been in a lot of pain recently, because my wisdom teeth have started coming in. If someone told me that it would be painful beforehand that would've been nice but what can you do?

Anyway...I want to warn you beforehand, this chapter is pure filler because, I feel like it would get repetitive if I kept posting chapters of the Duelling Tournament and I feel like chapters like this would give a nice change of pace during the story. I won't do filler chapters after every Duelling Tournament chapter, but I may do one or two more.

That's all for now, I hope you enjoy and I will see you at the end.

Chapter 11

Harry must've spent half an hour in the infirmary, as the Healers fixed up his injuries. The Cutting Curses, Matthew had hit him with, had done a surprising amount of damage that the Healers had to check and heal any internal damage, before working on the external damage, gently waving their wands over the entrance wounds, where the flesh slowly stitched itself back together, leaving unblemished skin, like it had never been cut open in the first place.

After the Healer gave Harry the all clear, Flitwick led Harry out of the Arena, before they Apparated away, where Harry found himself in front of the door to Potter Manor. He had to admit, he was relieved to be back, wanting to rest properly after feeling like he drained his Magical Core.

"I know I've already said it Harry, but I'm impressed" Flitwick said "You did very well…now, rest up…the Playoffs won't be for another 2 days, so take some time to relax…Like today, I will pick you up to take you there"

"I will Professor, and thank you" Harry smiled

Flitwick smiled in return, giving Harry a respectful bow before Apparating away. Harry rolled his shoulder, trying to ease the lingering pain he still felt from the Cutting Curse, before entering the Manor. As soon as he entered, his parents quickly appeared, no doubt they jumped from their seats, as soon as they heard the door open and close. Judging from the look on his mother's face, she still wasn't happy about him taking part and the state of his robes probably didn't help either.

"So, how did you do?" James Potter, asked awkwardly

"I did pretty well" Harry replied, tone neutral "I won all three of my Qualifier duels, meaning I've succeeded in entering the Playoffs, which will be starting in two days"

"Really?" James Potter had a shocked yet proud look on his face "Well done, I had no doubts of course, but I'm impressed"

"You didn't get hurt did you?" Lily spoke up, looking at the tears in his robes, that looked like they had been cut open by a knife, or spell of some kind

"Oh, so now you're worried about me getting hurt" Harry replied, with a fake look of surprise "Never seemed to care about my health when I was growing up…and don't worry yourself, my injuries were taken care of by a Healer…now, if you don't mind, I'm tired and want to go to bed"

Pushing past his parents, Harry headed down the Manor Hallway, before making his way up the stairs. As he went up, he came across his brother, who was making his way down. Nathaniel scowled as he saw his brother and couldn't help but run his mouth.

"So you're back!" He spat "Order of Merlin and now a Duelling Ring…still looking for attention, you attention stealing prat!"

"Is the little one sad?" Harry replied in a taunting, baby like voice, before his face and tone became deadly serious "It may be surprising to know that the world doesn't revolve around you…I know it must be traumatising for you"

Nathaniel gaped like a fish, trying to formulate a response, causing Harry to merely smirk, before continuing his way up the stairs, towards his bedroom. Entering his room, Harry removed his robe, letting out a relieved sigh, feeling the cool air hit his skin. After spending the last several hours in an arena which seemed to get hotter as time went on, Harry was glad to take the robe off, especially as he felt like the Dragon Hide was sticking to his body. Removing his wand, Harry cast a Cleaning Charm on himself, feeling to tired to take a shower, where he felt a pair of small arms wrap around his legs. Harry looked down to see Evelyn looking up at him, with her big puppy eyes, a smile on her face, dressed in her pyjamas'.

"Hey little princess" He said, picking her up, holding her in his arms "Aren't you supposed to be in bed, Evie?"

"Want to sleep here" Evelyn replied, sternly, or as sternly a five year old could muster "Want to be with Harry"

Harry wanted to say now, as much as he loved his little sister, he needed his own space every now and then. However, looking into those large puppy eyes of hers, he knew he couldn't. He was sure she was able to cast the Imperius Curse with her eyes. Sighing, he gave her a small smile and walked to the bed.

"Okay, I'll allow it" He said, gently placing her on the bed "You can sleep here tonight"

Evelyn squealed happily, as she quickly dived under the covers, snuggling under the blankets. Harry shook his head at her antics, though the smile never left his face, as he got into some nightwear. After getting changed, he turned off the lights and got into bed, where Evelyn immediately snuggled into his side, happy to be with her older brother. Almost immediately afterwards, Harry heard gentle snoring, showing that she had already fallen asleep. Being careful not to disturb her, Harry moved his arm and placed his hand behind his head, before closing his eyes where, soon after, he also fell into a peaceful slumber.

"You did very well Ma Fille" Jacques Delacour said "You won every one of your Qualifier duels, I'm proud of you, I knew you could do it"

Fleur had just returned home with her family, after finishing all three of her duels, meaning she made it to the Playoffs. After sending her younger sister, Gabrielle, to bed, her mother and father decided to have a celebratory glass of wine for her winning.

"I am in agreement" Apolline Delacour said "You did amazingly well…though I couldn't help but notice you seemed to be eyeing the Potter boy"

"He has skill, mother" Fleur replied, with a gentle shrug of his shoulders "He may prove a challenge if me and him duel in the future…besides, he seemed familiar for some reason and I don't know why"

"He should be familiar" Jacques spoke up "He's Harry Potter, brother to the Boy-Who-Lived, he received the Order of Merlin First Class not that long ago"

Fleur lent back in her seat. That's why he was familiar. She had read the Daily Prophet that broadcasted to the whole Wizarding World, Harry Potter being awarded the Order of Merlin, after risking his own life to save a young girl from a Mountain Troll that somehow got into Hogwarts.

"Skilled with magic and noble" Fleur commented impassively "Also, he's immune to my allure…he met my gaze and, instead of turning into a drooling wreck, he looked confused as to why the other males were acting like mindless apes"

"He's immune?" Apolline asked, surprised "He will definitely prove a harder challenge, as an opponent"

"He may prove to be a harder challenge, but he will inevitably lose to me" Fleur said, with a hint of confidence

There was fire and destruction around Harry, as he walked through the ruins that, used to be, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He had become more powerful in recent years. So powerful, his Master never stood a chance against him. A cruel smile made its way across his face as he looked at the bodies littered across the ruins. Bodies of students and Professors alike. Behind him his followers, former Death Eaters and his friends, laughed maniacally as they easily cut down anyone who tried to oppose them. In Harry's hand he held a wand. A wand more powerful then any wand in existence. His prize for slaying the great Albus Dumbledore, who's head was now on a spike on the castle barracks, and his headless body crucified and gutted next to it. Harry stopped when he saw Evelyn appear from the smoke. She was much older now, in her late teens. Mixed looks of shock, fear, anger and betrayal crossed her face.

"Harry…" She said, unable to find her words, shocked at what her older brother had become "Why…Why would you do this?"

"Oh Evelyn" Harry gave an eery, sweet smile, as his followers stopped behind him "I am merely making the Wizarding World a better place…a better place so we no longer have to hide from the Muggles…join us Evelyn…join our cause and you will no longer have to hide from the rest of the world"

"I will never join you!" Evelyn spat "You're a monster!"

Harry's grip on his wand tightened as the smile disappeared from his face, now replaced by a vicious snarl.

"Then you shall die like the rest of them!" He growled

Harry jolted upwards, sweating heavily, where he could see the sunlight peaking out from behind his curtains. Taking a few steady breaths, Harry sat on the edge of his bed, where he realised Evelyn wasn't asleep next to him like she was before he fell asleep. As if summoned, his bedroom door opened and Evelyn ran in, now dressed in regular clothes. Seeing him awake, she gave him an irritated look.

"Harry sleep in" She said, in an accusing tone "Harry lazy"

"I'm sorry Evie" Harry gave her a tired smile "How about I make it up to you and….we go and see James and Aila?"

"Okay!" Evelyn nodded, excitedly

"Okay, you wait for me downstairs, I'll be down soon" Harry said

Evelyn nodded again, before quickly running out of his room. Harry couldn't help but smile as he started getting ready. Evelyn always enjoyed seeing James and Aila. She saw them as siblings in a way. There was a reason why Harry wanted to see them however. He needed to talk to James. This was the second nightmare now, in such a short time and this one concerned him, more than the previous one. Harry wondered if there was some kind dark magic connected to them, giving the context of his nightmares and, even though the Badger Family had fought for the light for several centuries, they had a rich and fruitful history with the Dark Arts and anything to do with Dark Magic. After all, as James once said, the Badger Family motto was: "There is no light or dark, only intent". So, if anyone could help him, it would be James.

After cleaning himself up and putting on a fresh pair of clothes, Harry went downstairs where he found Evelyn, practically bouncing up and down, eagerly waiting to go. As soon as Harry got to the bottom of the stairs, Evelyn held her arms up, silently demanding to be picked up. Harry rolled his eyes, but that didn't stop him from lifting her up and holding her by his side, in his arms. Evelyn giggled triumphantly, as Harry made his way towards the main Living Room, where the Floo Network was. Judging by the voices coming from within the room, it sounded like his parents were teaching Nathaniel some spells, to improve his school performance. According to the rumour mill of Hogwarts, Nathaniel was sub-par in magic. Worse then a squib according to some of the more…malicious Slytherin students.

Opening the door, confirmed this, as Nathaniel sat on the couch, wand in hand. A feather lay on the coffee table in front of him and their parents sat either side of him, giving words of encouragement and helping him with the pronunciation and wand movement. Judging by the irritation on his younger brothers face, it wasn't going well.

"Wingardium Leviosa!" Nathaniel growled

Harry watched in mild amusement as the feather shook for a moment, before raising a couple of centimetres for a few seconds before falling back down.

"It's impossible!" Nathaniel yelled, falling back against the cushions, evidently giving up

"You just need to try a little harder darling" Lily said

"Your mother is right, son" James Potter said "Try a little harder and keep practicing, you'll get it eventually"

"I wouldn't get your hopes up" Harry spoke up, making them aware of his presence "Nathaniel is the only First Year who has yet to successfully cast the Levitation Charm….the others managed to do so, by their third Charms Lesson"

"How do you know that?" Nathaniel demanded

"Rumour mill travels quickly in Hogwarts" Harry shrugged "Especially when it comes to you"

"Harry" Lily said, before a fight could break out "Why don't you show Nathaniel the Levitation Charm, to help him"

"If I have too" Harry rolled his eyes

Moving Evelyn to his left side, Harry removed his wand with a gentle flick of his right hand. Without even uttering a word, Harry swished his wand in the correct movement where, chairs, sofas, side tables, candles, books and other trinkets began levitating a foot or two in the air, gently, much to the surprise of his family, whilst Evelyn clapped at the display going on around her. Harry kept them levitating for a few seconds before releasing the spell and putting everything back to the ground, carefully. Harry couldn't help but give Nathaniel a smug look as his younger brother glared at him.

"While…that is…very impressive Harry" James Potter coughed, still shocked by the display he just saw "How does that help Nathaniel learn the spell?"

"Mother told me to show him the spell" Harry shrugged, as he put his wand away "Not teach him…now, forgive me, but me and Evie here, have somewhere to be"

"Where are you two going?" Lily asked

"To visit James and Aila" Harry said, stepping into the fireplace, gently protecting Evelyn's head, preventing her from bumping her head "We should be back for dinner"

Harry grabbed the pouch and was about to remove some Floo Powder but stopped and looked to Evelyn.

"Do you want to throw the Floo Powder, Evie?" He asked

"Yeah!" Evelyn squealed

Harry smiled as he opened the pouch allowing her to grab a handful of Floo Powder. Harry gently held her arm, keeping it steady to make sure she didn't drop the powder early. Thankfully this wasn't the first time she had threw the Floo Powder herself, so she knew what to do.

"Ready Evie?" Harry asked, receiving an excited nod in response "Okay…The Albrights Residence!"

With a happy squeal, Evelyn threw the Floo Powder at their feet, where the two were engulfed in green flames and Harry made sure to cover Evelyn's eyes to make sure she wasn't blinded by how bright the flames were. After a few seconds, the flames died down and the two found themselves in a comfortable looking apartment building. Stepping out of the fireplace, Harry used his wand to clean him and Evelyn, removing all the soot, just as James appeared, dressed in ripped black jeans, black boots and a shirt featuring a Heavy Metal, Muggle band. Harry didn't know how James got into Muggle Heavy Metal, but every shirt he owned that wasn't a school shirt, was a different Heavy Metal band shirt.

"Harry" James said, slightly surprised "You should have called ahead, I would have cleaned the place up a bit"

"Sorry James, it was kind of a spur of the moment decision" Harry smiled, putting Evelyn down to the ground

"James!" Evelyn yelled happily, running to him and wrapping her arms around his legs, nearly knocking the older boy over

"Hey Evelyn" James smiled, placing a hand on a nearby counter to steady himself "You're getting bigger"

"Where's Aila?" Evelyn asked, looking around

"She's downstairs" James replied "Why don't you go down and surprise her, I'm sure she'd be happy to see you again"

Immediatley, Evelyn removed herself from James and ran out of the room, where they heard her running down the stairs. When she left, James turned to Harry, where his smile was replaced by a serious face.

"What's wrong Harry?" He asked

"How do you know something is wrong?" Harry asked

"Harry, we've known each other for about four years now" James replied, sitting on the counter top "That doesn't seem like a long time, but it's long enough for me to know when something is wrong and if something is bothering you"

"Okay…well, I had a dream" Harry replied, making sure no one was eavesdropping, as this wasn't something he wanted to be overheard

"When you woke up did you feel good and had wet sheets?" James asked "Because that's nothing to worry about, that's just puberty"

"No, not that!" Harry exclaimed, with a slightly disgusted face "No…it was something else…I…I might be wrong, but…I feel like some kind of dark magic is involved"

"You do?" James raised an eyebrow "What was the dream?"

"I was at Hogwarts" Harry replied "Or…what was left of it…the place was in ruin…students and professors were dead…killed by me…I seem to be some kind of dark lord, worse then Voldemort…in the dream I declared that I wanted to make the Magical World a better place, a place where we didn't have to hide from the Muggles…it felt so real I'm not sure if it was a dream or…something else"

"You think it's a….vision of some kind?" James asked

"I don't know" Harry replied "I know the Badgers have a lot of history with dark magic…is there anything in there about some kind of dark magic planting some kind of vision or something into someone…I've had nightmares before, but nothing like this"

"There is, but nothing like the dream you described" James said, scratching his chin "Usually such dark magic is used to influence individuals and, usually, tempt them towards the dark…false visions of the things they are afraid of the most…deaths of loved ones for example…which will make them do everything they possibly can to stop it from happening…though, the dream you explained is new and is different to everything recorded in my families books…however, I will read through them and I'll let you know if I find anything…for now…come on, let's go downstairs, I'm sure Abigail and Marty will be happy to see you again"

And that is the chapter done. Again, I hope you don't mind the filler chapter.

I did actually plan on, properly, introducing the Albrights in this chapter, but I felt like the chapter would have gone on for too long if I did that, so I will save their proper introduction for a future chapter. If you are wondering who the Albrights are, fans of my first story, 'A Different Hogwarts Experience', will know who they are, but I'm not going to make you read that story just to know who they are, more will be explained about them at some point in this story.

Anyway, Harry's dream was interesting wasn't it? Was it a dream? Was it a vision? I'm not saying anything...just yet. You'll have to wait and see I'm afraid. But I hope you enjoyed this chapter.

If you have a story request, feel free to let me know and if I like it, I'll do it. Until then, I'll see you next time, in whatever story I'll see you in.
