"There's another Slayer?" Buffy asked, confused. "How can there be another Slayer? That doesn't make any sense. You told me there's only ever one."

"Xander pointed out that you did die, which may have Called another Slayer. I contacted the Council. One was indeed Called on the day you faced the Master. Her name is Kendra Young and she lives in Jamaica with her Watcher, Sam Zabuto."

"Does this mean I'm not the Slayer anymore?"

"It's a matter semantics." Corda said. "As long as there's only one, that one is the Slayer. Two and you become a Slayer. You still have the powers, after all."

"Also, the Council believes the line now passes thru Kendra."

"What does that mean?"

"That when you die again, no new Slayer will be Called."

"Oh."

Before Buffy could begin processing this new information, a banging could be heard on the side entrance to the library. Xander got up to answer it.

"I need to see Rupert Giles." The man at the door said.

"He's in here. Giles, you've got company!"

Philip, what are you doing here?!"

"The same thing I'm doing here and you know it."

"Ethan."

"You're the guy who sold us our costumes." Alexander said

"Giles." Corda said. "Is he the guy responsible for Halloween?"

"Why, yes I am. Some of my best work, if I do say so myself."

"Children got hurt."

"Then their parents shouldn't have let them dress as monsters."

"You're not going to take responsibility?" Alexander asked.

"Nope. Now as to why we're here? The Sleepwalker is walking."

"He got Deidre." Phillip said. "She's not far behind me."

"Oh dear."

"Giles, we're needing some background here." Buffy said.

"This is none of your business. All of you leave, now."

"Giles, whatever is making you afraid, isn't something you need to deal with alone." Alexander said. "We're not going anywhere. Now, what's the Sleepwalker?"

"He's also known as Eyghon. He's a demon, one that can be summoned." Ethan told them.

"Invited." Alexander said. "Invited for what?"

"Getting high and having lots of sex. Well, it was the sixties."

"And I thought Janus threw wild parties." Alexander muttered.

"Janus' parties often included orgies, but no one got high at them, as far as I know." Corda said. "But I wouldn't put it past him. But even he'd never invite a demon in."

A figure shuffled into the library.

"Okay, I'm guessing that's Deidre." Alexander said sarcastically.

"That used to be Deidre. Now it a walking corpse inhabited by Eyghon." Ethan snarked.

"How do we send it back to where it belongs?"

"By destroying the host, same as with a vampire. It can only inhabit a dead or unconscious body." Phillip added.

"So, Buffy, you're closest to the weapons in the book cage and I'm closest to the walking corpse." Alexander said. "Want to throw me an axe, so I can, what is that expression of Xander's, oh yes, get medieval on its ass?"

"Sure, hold on." Buffy opened the book cage and pulled out an axe and lightly tossed it to Alexander, who caught it and swung, hard. The axe sliced thru the neck and the body dropped to the ground as something dark came out of the neck and disappeared.

"So you willingly invited that thing into you?" Corda asked in disbelief.

"It really is a great high." Ethan said.

"He's not wrong." Phillip agreed.

"Check it out. Giles had a rebellious stage. A weird, rebellious stage, but still rebellious." Alexander said. "Remind me to tell you about my rebellious stage sometime, it's amusing, if you're not me."

"He's not wrong." Corda said. "I still get alot of giggles out of it."

"Hey, guys." Willow said. "That Ethan guy is gone."

"Hopefully we won't see him again. I don't think I like him very much." Alexander said.

"Pretty sure, we all agree." Corda said.

"I'm going to go too." Phillip said. "That was rather anticlimactic."

"Again, he's not wrong." Willow said. "There's usually screaming. And Giles being rebellious is kinda scary in its own right. He's Giles, if he was going to be rebellious, I would have thought he'd wear plaid instead tweed."

"Oh, Giles in plaid, that's a scary thought." Corda said.

"So, Giles about me not being the only Slayer. Does this mean I can have vacation time?"

"I think I want the demon back." Giles said. "It's easier to understand. Teenagers, not so much."

"And yet, your career, both of them, librarian and Watcher, means being around teenagers all the time." Corda said. "You're stuck with them."

"You're all laughing at me, aren't you?"

"More like gently teasing. Chill, Giles. You made a mistake, we get it. You're still our Giles." Buffy told him.

"Oh, bloody Hell, How soon can I get back to England?"

"Sorry, Giles, we're keeping you." Alexander said.

The others nodded, agreeing and forgiving Giles his misspent youth.
