"Tell your master, that my apprentice is not available for his proposal." Tsunade said for the nth time. But the vassal just won't leave.
"I apologized Lady Hokage. But my master demands that I return with Lady Sakura."
Tsunade's patience was wearing thin, and her eyes flashed with irritation. "I've already explained the situation to your master. Sakura is married now, and her allegiance is to Konoha. I cannot insult one of my clan heads, just to accomadate your master. We cannot afford to send her to another village or daimyo."
The vassal was persistent, but Tsunade's resolve was unyielding. "I understand your master's wishes, but our village's safety and prosperity come first. We cannot comply with this proposal. Now, please leave and convey this message to your master."
The vassal finally realized that he wouldn't get a different answer, and he bowed respectfully. "I will relay your message, Lady Hokage. But be warned, my master won't take this rejection lightly."
Tsunade's expression remained firm. "That is a risk we must take. The safety and well-being of Konoha and its ninja are my top priorities."
With that, the vassal departed, and Tsunade turned her attention back to her newlywed ninja, Sakura and Kakashi, who had stood by her side throughout the encounter. She couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and admiration for their dedication to the village.
"Thank you both for your commitment to Konoha," Tsunade said, addressing them with a nod. "Your actions today have secured our village's safety, and for that, I am grateful."
Kakashi looked at Sakura, a sense of possessiveness rose in his chest towards his new wife. "Just let me know if they sent another man again. I'll let them see why I am in Bingo books in different nations." Kakashi said darkly. Already envisioning which jutsu to use to intimidate and scare the next vassal.
"Kakashi." Sakura tried to rein in Kakashi's unexpected anger. She grasped his hand while her other hand caressed his arm, trying to comfort him. "It's fine. Don't be mad."
Tsunade nodded in agreement with Sakura. "We've handled this situation for now, Kakashi. No need to resort to violence. We'll deal with any further issues that may arise diplomatically. The important thing is that Sakura is safe, and she's here in Konoha where she belongs."
Kakashi reluctantly relaxed his tense posture, realizing the wisdom in Tsunade's words. He gave a nod to both Tsunade and Sakura. "You're right. I don't want to cause more trouble for the village. Sakura, I'm here to protect you, so just let me know if there's ever a problem."
Sakura smiled gratefully at Kakashi, her eyes reflecting her appreciation for his support. "Thank you, Kakashi. I feel safer knowing you're here with me."
With that, they left the Hokage's office, ready to face the challenges of their new life together, bound by duty, loyalty, and a shared commitment to Konoha.
