Alright, here's the continuation of last chapter. It picks up right after last chapter.

Once Olivia was dressed, she walked to Noah's room and knocked on the door. "Noah, honey, it's me." She opened the door and the sight in front of her broke her heart. Noah was laying on the bed crying and holding Eddie tight. "Oh sweet boy." She walked over to the bed and stroked his hair. "Can we talk about what you saw?"

Noah wiped his eyes. "Charles was hurting you," he said matter of factly.

Olivia smiled gently. "No, sweetie. He wasn't hurting me at all."

Noah shook his head. "Is he just like my daddy?"

Olivia shook her head. "Noah, Charles is nothing like your father. I promise you. We wouldn't be here if he was. I wouldn't expose you to that."

Noah looked at her. "Then what was he doing to you."

Olivia smiled. "Noah, when you get older, there are going to be things you're maybe going to want to do with the person you love."

Noah nodded. "You mean like sex?"

Olivia's chest tightened. "Where did you hear about sex, sweet boy?"

Noah shrugged. "Some of the older kids talk about it."

Olivia still hadn't relaxed. "Has anyone ever tried to show you what sex is?"

Noah shook his head. "No."

Olivia nodded. "If they do I need you to tell me right away. Okay? Because that isn't okay."

Noah furrowed her brow. "Wait, why is it okay for you but not for me? What is sex?"

Olivia let out a gentle sigh. "You know how we say there are some things for adults only? Like wine? Sex is only for adults. Okay?"

Noah let out a sigh. "Okay, but what even is it?"

Olivia knew this day would come. "Well, it's when two adults get together and touch each other."

Noah was confused. "Like hugging?"

Olivia rubbed the back of her neck. "Not exactly. Most of the time the touching is under the adults clothes. It's a lot of seeing each other naked and kissing."

Noah looked at her. "That's it?"

Olivia bobbed her head a bit from side to side. "Basically. You'll learn more as you get older. But the most important thing you take from this has to be that if anyone tries to touch you under your clothes or over your clothes in a private area, you have to tell someone, like me. Even if they tell you not to. I won't be mad, I just need to know. And when you get older. You have the right to say no to being touched, you have that right now. Just say no. And if they don't listen, you tell Mommy okay?"

Noah nodded. "Okay Mommy. You're sure Charles wasn't hurting you?"

Olivia smiled and kissed his forehead. "I'm positive. And Noah, what Charles and I were doing, it's private okay? So don't go around telling people. You okay now?"

Noah nodded. "Yeah. I'm sorry I didn't knock Mommy."

Olivia tucked him in. "That's okay. Just try to remember in the future okay?" She got up and made sure he had Eddie. "Goodnight Noah, I love you."

Noah smiled. "I love you too Mommy."

Olivia walked out and walked back to the master bedroom and saw Charles. "The girls okay?"

Charles nodded. "A little confused by the noises but okay." He watched her as she paced the room, double and triple checking that the door was closed all the way. "Noah?"

Olivia stopped and sat on the edge of the bed. "He broke my heart, and got the sex talk all in fifteen minutes."

Charles rubbed her back as he knelt behind her, kissing the back of her neck. "What happened?"

Olivia closed her eyes. "He really thought you were hurting me, then he asked if you were just like his father. That broke me." She shook her head.

Charles rubbed her shoulders and kissed her neck. "Hey, it's okay now," she whispered.

Olivia nodded. "I just want him to love you and trust you. You're the man of my dreams and I know you'd be a wonderful father to Noah. But I don't want him afraid of you."

Charles brushed her hair away and kissed the back of her neck. "One step at a time baby. Don't catastrophize."

Olivia took a deep breath. "He asked me about sex. He knew sex was something two adults do, apparently some of the older kids at his school are talking about it." She shook her head. "My little boy isn't so little anymore."

Charles wrapped her in his arms. "They all have to grow up sometime."

Olivia nodded. "I just wanted to keep him little forever." She looked back at him. "We should get some sleep."

Charles kissed her lips and they lay down together, Olivia cuddled up to him. "Are we okay?"

Olivia smiled gently. "We're okay," she whispered and kissed his chest. "This was no one's fault."

Charles wrapped her tightly in his arms. "I can't lose you."

Olivia looked into his eyes and kissed him gently. "You're not losing me," she whispered.

Charles held her close and kissed her again, breaking the kiss but not letting her go. "I love you so much."

Olivia smiled. She felt safe in his arms. "I love you too, Charles Brooks." She nestled into him and smiled, they lay in the middle of the gigantic Alaskan King bed surrounded by a fluffy white comforter, cocooned together as they slept. This, she thought, was bliss. This is how her life was meant to turn out all along. She finally found the man she knew deep down she was going to spend the rest of her life with.

The next morning, Charles was the first to wake up. He looked at his soon to be wife sleeping in his arms and he couldn't help but think how he was the luckiest man on the face of the planet, possibly in the entire solar system because Olivia Margaret Benson was his, was laying content in his arms fast asleep. He wanted to get up to start breakfast, but he didn't want to move from this spot. He wanted to revel in it just a little longer.

Olivia spoke in a groggy voice. "I can feel you staring at me." She smiled and let her eyes flutter open. "Good morning."

Charles smiled and kissed her softly and slowly. "Good morning my beautiful fiancée."

Olivia propped herself up on her elbow, looking him over. "Someone's in a good mood today."

Charles kissed her again, running his hands over her side. "Always in a good mood when I wake up to the most perfect woman I've ever laid eyes on."

Olivia blushed. "I'm far from perfect, love." She kissed him and cradled his face in her hands. "Thank God it's the weekend," she murmured against his lips. "I can lay here and kiss you for as long as the kids are asleep and that has to be my favorite part of weekend mornings with you."

Charles kissed her and held her tight. "Definitely my favorite part of weekend mornings too." They kissed as the sun rose. While Charles moved to rest his hand on her bare torso, that's as far as it went. He felt her pull away and saw her smile. "You are so beautiful when you smile, Livia."

Olivia kissed him again. "You make me smile so much." She rested her head on his chest. "And I've never smiled more genuinely because of you and the girls and Noah than I ever have in my life." She kissed his chest. "I love you Charles. So much."

Charles nuzzled into her neck. "I love you too, Livia. I love you a whole lot." He kissed her forehead and then her nose. "How about we go get started on breakfast for us and for the kids?"

Olivia smiled. "I like how you think, baby." She kissed him once more and they got out of bed and headed downstairs to the kitchen. Olivia went out and got the paper and opened it, starting to read it while Charles got started on making his famous special pancakes, being sure to take out chocolate chips and berries to mix into the batter.

Noah came downstairs rubbing his eyes and hugged Olivia who smiled. "Hi sweet boy," she whispered and kissed the top of his head.

Noah smiled. "Morning, Mommy." He looked at Charles and he walked over to him and tapped his back. "Charles?"

Charles stopped what he was doing and knelt in front of him. "What's up Noah?"

Noah took a deep breath. "I'm sorry I didn't knock before coming in last night, and I'm sorry I thought you were hurting Mommy. I was scared."

Charles hugged him. "Oh, Bud, I'm sorry. We didn't mean to scare you. But thank you for apologizing. I hope you know I would never hurt your mom or you. I love you both so much." He ruffled Noah's hair. "Let me finish breakfast, okay?"

Noah nodded. "Okay. Thank you Charles!" He walked back over to Olivia and climbed up on a chair at the breakfast nook. "Whatcha readin' about?"

Olivia couldn't help but smile as Noah apologized to Charles of his own accord, maybe having him apologize for all the little spats he got into with classmates, that were his fault, was worth it. Even if this was a big misunderstanding, she knew that what he said about Charles hurting her hurt him, even though it was accidental. She looked at him as he sat down. "Just boring adult stuff like stocks," she smiled. "Want the comics?"

Noah nodded. "Yes please!" Olivia found the comics page and handed it over to him. "Thank you!"

Olivia looked over at him and smiled. "You're so welcome." She left the paper open to the stock report and started to make herself a cup of coffee when she heard Bianca and Nicole come down. She smiled. "Good morning sweet girls."

Bianca spoke first. "Good morning Olivia." She climbed up on the breakfast nook next to Noah.

Nicole climbed up to the nook first and smiled. "Morning Olivia!"

Olivia smiled and took her coffee when it was ready and took a sip, the warm liquid warning her from the inside out. She smiled as she felt Charles wrap his arms around her from behind. "Hello there," she grinned. "Want some coffee?"

Charles placed a chaste kiss behind her ear and smiled. "No, but we should tell the kids about the engagement," he whispered.

Olivia's face fell in shock, how could she have forgotten. Then she remembered the events of last night. "You're right. Finish up breakfast and we'll tell them."

Charles nodded and kissed the side of her head and went back to finish up cooking the batch of pancakes. Within fifteen minutes breakfast was ready and had been served up to everyone. "Kids, while you eat, we have something to tell you."

Olivia looked at him and smiled. "Well, you may have noticed that I'm wearing a new ring," she said, looking at it on her finger. "And, well, we—"

Charles saved her. "The other night, I asked Olivia to marry me."

Olivia smiled. "And I said yes. So, we're going to get married."

Charles wrapped his arm around her. "We're going to get married and we're all going to be a family."

The kids were all excited. "Do we get to be in the wedding?" Bianca asked.

Olivia smiled. "Well, I'd be honored if you two would be my flower girls. And Noah, I thought you could be the ring bearer."

The kids all seemed super excited and they spoke excitedly. "That went well," Charles said, almost surprised.

Olivia smiled. "They're kids under the age of ten, how bad could it have gone?" She asked gently. "Relax, we're all okay."

Charles smirked. "You're right." He held her tight. "Okay everyone, let's eat!"

With that the whole little family to be started eating their breakfasts and talking and laughing. Bianca and Nicole asked Olivia about dresses and Noah talked to Charles about tuxedos. Charles looked at Olivia, "We may need dance lessons. I've got two left feet."

Olivia smiled. "We can take all the lessons we want." She looked around at the people around her. Her family.
