"You've trained hard. You've gotten stronger, tougher, faster. You've done your best. You're ready for this tournament, am I right?" Johnny stood on top of a van in a junkyard as he looked down at his students.

"Yes, Sensei!" They yelled back.

"Wrong!" He threw a beer can at them.

"Rejected." Lee giggled, from her seat on the hood of the van.

"Your best ain't shit. If you want to win the All Valley under 18 Karate Tournament, you gotta give me better than your best. Which is why from now on, you're gonna get my worst. Do you understand?" He paced on the roof of the vehicle.

"They weren't already getting your worst?" Lee looked back at him to get a pebble kicked at her. "Yes, Sensei!" They answered him.

"Are you losers?" He yelled.

"No, Sensei." They shouted.

"Are you nerds?" He asked.

"No, Sensei." They answered.

"Are you sure?" He stopped pacing to look down at them.

"No, Sensei." They repeated not realizing the question. Johnny put his head in his hands while Lee crackled.

"Let's get started, to the tires." He jumped off the van to lead them to where a bunch of tires was lined up. They had to run through them, making sure to not get tripped up.

Their training consisted of tire runs, running over a thin plank that was over a dumpster filled with broken glass, and beating the shit out of cars with bats.

"You want to win, you gotta be hungry, are you guys hungry?" He asked as Lee passed out jerky, while everyone took greedily.

"Yes, Sensei." Hawk took a handful.

"Good, so are they." He blew a dog whistle. Two large german shepherds viciously barking came running around the corner.

"Holy shit." Lee threw the bag at Miguel and ran behind Johnny. He dropped the bag and jumped on top of a car.

"Don't be afraid, they smell fear," Johnny warns, as the teens scatter. They grimace when Hawk gets bitten on the leg. "How are you going to win the All Valley when you can't jump on a car?"

Lee grabbed the jerky bag that was on the floor. "Doggy." She called. When the dog looked at her she threw the treat. He let go of Hawk and ran to get the food. She took off her backpack to get out the first aid kit. He hissed while she disinfected it and wrapped it up.

Johnny came over to inspect it. "You'll be fine, he just punctured it. You're lucky he didn't shake his head, then you have some real damage. You can sit out for the rest of the day and maybe go to the doctor for a rabies shot." He pats his shoulder before going back to leading the rest of the group in the next drill.

Lee looked down when she felt something brush up against her hand. "Oh, hi." She stiffened, looking down at the dog. He pushed her hand up with his nose, so with great caution, she pets the dog. He wiggles in excitement as he leans into her hand. "Don't pet that beast." Hawk glares at the dog.

"He was just doing his job." She defends her furry friend.

"Oh, yeah he's so great at his job. He didn't even know we were here until Sensei blew that whisper." He scoffs.

"Maybe he is not supposed to attack until he hears the whistle." She countered.

"Do not defend the animal that bites me." He sneers, making the dog growl.

"I can't help it, it's like a real-life stuffed animal." She ran her fingers through his coat.

"Nice to know you'll befriend my killer." He leaned back to lay down on the hood of the car he was sitting on.

"So dramatic." She got up on the hood next to him. The dog followed and put himself between them.

"I can't believe you're actually making me get a rabies shot." He grumbled to his mom.

"You can never be too careful. I can't believe you guys thought it would be cool to rummage through a junkyard." She shook her head. They had lied, knowing if they told the truth she would yank him out of Cobra Kai.

"We thought we could find a treasure in the trash." Lee lied.

"This is why you need Demetri." She sighs.

"We don't need Demetri." Hawk got offended that she thought Demetri could take better care of his girlfriend than him.

"Really, because Demetri wouldn't ever do something like this. You never got hurt when he was around." She got up to turn in the filled-out forms to the office clerk.

"That's because he never wants to do anything." He mutters under his breath.

"Is she implying that I'm not a good influence? I thought she liked me." She whines.

"She likes you." Hawk grabbed her hand. "She just thinks without Demetri hovering over us I'll knock you up."

"I'm on birth control." She crosses her legs.

He laughed and pulled her up when he got called in. The doctor looked it over. "You did a good job of cleaning it." He disinfected it and flushed it out to calm the mother's nerves.

"That is my girl's job." Hawks nods to her with a proud smile.

"Good job." The doctor smiled at her before he left the room.

A nurse came in to give the shot. He put on a brave front as she injected him with the medicine. She put a bandaid on it before bid them goodnight. "How are you?" Lee asked.

"I'm fine." He said through gritted teeth and tears in his eyes.

"Oh, my babe." Mrs. Moskowitz embraced him.

"Mom." He whines shoving her off him.

Miguel, Aisha, Hawk, Lee, and Demetri were standing in line to get their ticket to see Avengers Infinity Wars. Being a comic nerd Demetri was the most excited. Miguel was telling them the story of how Sam's dad stole Johnny's girl. "This Ali chick is out of her mind. I've seen old pictures and let me tell you if I could time travel I would go to the summer of 1984 and heal Sensei's, broken heart."

"Or you could time travel to 1981 before they meet and get Sensei then," Miguel suggested.

"Oh yeah," Lee started daydreaming.

Hawk gave Miguel a shove and smacked Lee on the ass. "What did I tell you about fantasizing about other people in front of me?"

"Like you're not going to be ogling Wanda for the whole film." She pouts at him for being a hypocrite. His eyes popped out of his head when he watched the trail and saw her in the red corset.

"If you don't want me looking at her you can keep me busy." A large smirk grew on his face.

"Okay, you guys can't sit together because I won't have a repeat of Black Panther." Demetri had to listen to them sucking each other's faces while watching T'Challa fight for his kingdom.

"Don't worry, it won't happen. I want to see this movie." Lee promised.

"That's what you said before Black Panther." Demetri looks at her unconvincingly.

"You also said that when we went to eat at In and Out. You end up leaning against me while making out." Aisha didn't want them sitting together either.

"You should thank me, that's the most action you ever got." Hawk teased while hiding behind Lee. She went to charge at him, but Miguel stepped between them.

"I think we can agree that for the movie you two can sit apart." He didn't need to see a happy couple for different reasons.

"Oh man, that's the only reason I came." Hawks sighed.

"Why would you pay money to make out with her when you can do that anywhere else for free?" Demetri asked.

"I'm not paying for the movie, I'm paying for the ambiance." He clarified.

"Ambiance?" He looked more confused.

"A dark crowded place. Enough privacy to do your thing, but the chances of getting caught are high." He explained.

"You shared enough." Lee put an end to that before stepping up to the ticket booth. "Five tickets to Infinity War." She paid before they walked into the building.

They wait in line to get snacks. "Do you think Sam's dad will hate me because he hates Sensei?" Miguel asked the group.

"He's a grown man, he shouldn't be that dumb." Lee gave her opinion.

"He's not," Aisha assured him.

"Then why can't Sam introduce me?" He asked.

"Maybe she is not supposed to be dating at all." Hawk suggested.

"No, Sam can date." Aisha corrected. Miguel's face dropped even more after that.

"You can enjoy the movie and talk to Sam later. Don't dance around the issue, be straightforward." Lee advises. Miguel liked to ask questions to come up with his own conclusion instead of asking what he wanted to know. As friends when he did that they would tell him to ask what he really wanted to know. Maybe Sam didn't notice. Maybe, it wasn't her job to notice. Miguel needed to work his insecurity out.

After getting their snacks, they walked into the packed theater. "There's five-seat kind of together." Demetri pointed at the two seats in one row and the three seats in the next row above it.

"Oh cool, Lee and I can take the two and you guys can take the three." Hawks smile at the problem being solved.

"No, because I don't want to watch you guys make out in front of me." Aisha dragged him with Miguel following.

"Come on, Demetri." Lee led them to the two empty seats in front of the three. Lee was focused on the movie when she jumped at something falling into her popcorn. She looked down to see it was milk dud.

"Ignore him," Demetri whispered. Lee was going to do that when a milk dud landed between her breasts. She reached down her shirt to grab it. She turned around to throw it at him. He caught it and popped it into his mouth with a wink.

"So, frickin hot." She mutters under her breath.

"For real?" Demetri couldn't believe that any of Eli's new rude behavior was appealing to women.

The next milk dud he threw, flew past her and hit the man in front of her. "Who the hell did that?" The man stood up to yell.

Demetri and Lee looked back to see Hawk staring straight forward. "Not so hot now."

"No," She shook her head.

"So, where do you guys want to eat?" Aisha asked as they walked out of the theatre.

"I'm actually going to go see Sam. Pull an alpha move." He nodded to Hawk.

"Hell yeah." He threw an arm over Lee's shoulders.

He got on his bike and rode off. "What did you tell him to do?" Demetri asked.

"I told him to knock on her door and introduce himself. He got to show her that he ain't scared of her dad's wrath." He shrugs.

"You're just lucky that Mr. Cole already liked you." Demetri rolled his eyes.

"I hope he's respectful about it." Aisha sighs.

"We'll just have to find out tomorrow." Lee walks to her car.

"Please, he'll text his best gal pal when he gets home." Hawk got into the passenger seat.

"You're just jealous that he tells me everything first." She got into the driver's seat while Aisha and Demetri sat in the back.

"Please I get the good details, you just get the gushiness." He chuckled.

"If you mean the pervy detail then you can keep that to yourself." She pulled out of the stall and got onto the road. "Where are we going?"

"Wherever is fine," Demetri said. The other two echo him.

"Oh my god, not this again. Make a suggestion, because once I pass it I'm not turning around." Sometimes it sucks being the driver.
